I was very impressed and pleased with the service i received. i solicited quotes from other companies but they were much higher than Shellaby prices. They were very professional in their work and even called to give me updates when installing the new unit. i would definitely recommend them!

Excellent response. I had just received and placed a whole cow and pig into my garage commercial freezer when it started making a terrible noise from the compressor area. It also happened while we were expecting a hurricane to hit that night. I called on a Saturday morning and Craig showed up that afternoon. He did not have the part (a compressor motor) and had to find and order. He called me on Wed to get approval to order (it was expensive) and the following Wednesday he was back to install! I could not be more pleased that they were as concerned about my freezer going out as I was. Will definitely be recommending.

Shellaby installed a new 5 ton system at my small office building and they were fair with pricing and did an excellent job with the installation. I am very pleased. And I know if I have any problems that I can call them and they will be responsive.

Prompt service as always. A new blower motor fixed the problem.Im glad the motor was still in warranty. Repairs are sure getting expensive.

Shellaby quickly responded to emergency call to replace older HVAC which had been damaged by critters in attic. Critters damaged the attic unit plus several ducts. David from HVAC quoted me a very fair price to replace HVAC, some ducts, and install new insulation. Installation was started and completed during Thansgiving week.

Tech came out checked pressure and reduced same. He recommended adding insulation to the attic. Need an estimate when it cools down. Could I get an estimate for a maintenance contract. Thanks

These folks did a complete A/C install on our little South Texas home about 6 years ago including running duct work as there was nothing in the home for central A/C.Did a first class job and have been totally pleased with there service and workmanship.The A/C quit cooling last week, I Called Dave for help.He had one of his crew here within an hour. Less than an hour after that we were up and cooling again.First rate service from folks I can TRUST.

Our experience with Shellaby HVAC has been outstanding. They responded quickly in our need for emergency service. The equipment manufacturer had the part but would not remain open past 4:30 to sell the part, so Shellaby attempted to use a more generic alternative to fix the system the same evening.They went above and beyond to restore the system.The next morning they returned with the Lenox blower motor first thing in the morning and repaired the system. They provided excellent communication throughout the service outage and are very professional and honest.

Called Shellaby at 1:40 pm on a Friday afternoon. Outside unit would not run/cool. Talked with Craig Wiseman about what unit we have and he assured me they had experience with that unit. Was immediately texted by their company with time that a technician would be there… 3-4 pm on the same day.Technician showed up on time, was extremely professional. He ran diagnostics and repaired unit. It was repaired by 430pm.Now that’s what I call great service.!! Invoice sent via email immediately. They have a really good software component to their business.New to Rockport area and this is the first time I had to use an HVAC company in the area. They have definitely earned my business.

The repairman arrived on schedule and identified the issue with our old central ac system. Initially, it seemed like a big problem, but he kept at it and managed to fix it without needing any expensive parts. Given that the temperature inside the house was a warm 87 degrees, his hard work was a true lifesaver. Big thanks to everyone involved! Great company for their excellent ac repair.

They arrived the following day and installed the UV light. The technician was polite, professional, knowledgeable and did a great job. Shellaby AC, awesome company quality service, got a Goodman AC unit 5 years ago from Shellaby has worked flawlessl, they did install and ductwork as well, just called out to have the unit serviced after 5 years, unit still in top notch condition, Called them at 11am and they were out here two hours later. We could not be more satisfied with the service we received from Shellaby AC. They stayed in contact to make sure we were satisfied with the job they did as it was a follow-up from a company that did not solve our issues. Very much appreciate their administration and the service provided onsite.

Work was ok but charging $400 for 15 minutes to install a part is price gouging particularly when they do not notify you of the amount until you are invoiced. Poor business practices. When I talked to the manager he immediate;y became defensive and hung up on me. Very unprofessional.

Jason is very knowledgeable & has a great deal of experience. He diagnosed the problem & fixed the problem within an hour. I am very pleased with Shellaby AC. I am having them do some other corrections that will make the system more efficient.

This company is a breath of fresh air. we have had nothing but issues with contractors in the Aransas pass area. This company quoted me a reasonable price. Sent competition workers and did the job right the first time. The owner also called and followed up with us to make sure we were completely satisfied. He also help us find other contractors in areas his company does not service. I cant say thanks enough and we will be lifetime customers.

Our A/C had issues retaining refrigerant so we called Shellaby for assistance. Their team arrived & identified the leakage, and then swiftly fixed it. Were very happy with everything they did.

Our old air conditioning unit stopped working completely, so we had to get a new one. The technician they sent was on time, very nice, and did a great job replacing the AC.

I normally do not post reviews but I would not use this company if you are looking for reliability and follow through. We had an emergency HVAC issue and were looking for a same day service call. Spoke to a gentleman by the name of David. Said he couldnt make it same day but could come in the morning next day. We went ahead and scheduled him and sent all the information needed and requested. All that to have him NOT SHOW and not answer his phone. I text him and he replies who is this?, I reply with who I am, and he goes silent. Id rather you say you just cannot do the job than go ghost like Im so high school Ex girlfriend. Very unprofessional. Save yourself the time and headache and look elsewhere. ***UPDATE*** Guess who called after reading a bad review. Yep you guessed it. David calls and demands to have review removed using fowl language after his company came up short. THIS COMPANY AND GUY IS A JOKE!!! Oh and FYI he admitted he uses a company to take down all bad reviews. So dont drink the coolade with the good reviews on this page. Im sure all the real ones were deleted.

Shellaby always shows up when they say they will, theyre prompt with their billing, allow for online payments, and I always feel like I got a good value from their service. They will text on a Sunday evening to confirm that they can make a Monday appointment on short notice! They stand out in their field for these reasons. I cant say enough nice things about them!

This was another great experience! Fast response and scheduling. Craig found the problem right away. After picking up the part to fix our A/C, he had it back in working order really quickly.

Dave was great when he came out and checked my unit to give me an estimate. He even waited three weeks it took me to gather up the money. Then they came out and replaced the unit on the date and time they said they would. Great service and really nice people. Daves son (Im horrible with names) was so nice even when my card was declined because I didnt know I needed to change my daily limit lol. Just overall a great experience with these guys!

I called on Dec. 30th, and Craig came out the next day ~9:30am, he fixed my AC in about 1.5 hrs and my bill was $282. I am elated because locals were going to charge me $345/lb for freon. Great service and on New years eve!

Came on a Sunday!!! Called the night before, have used them since 2006, so nice , very fast, replaced my condensore , still had my warranty on my unit so only had to pay for labor, they also a few years back installed a new vent upstairs, recommend them highly!

I called and ask price for an estimate. I was told estimate was 79.00 dollars. My showed up promptly. He looked at my TRUE refrigerator and agreed it needed Freon. 134a. The plate on the machine says it requires 12oz from empty. Repair man said it was only partially empty and I said go ahead and fill it. He had to install a saddle tap to refill. He was here less than an hour. 134a is (high retail) 10.00 a pound 16oz. And the saddle tap is (high retail) 15.00 No to be clear I didn’t ask before hand how much it would cost. But I was charged 321.00 for the Freon and tap so the total was 400.00. Watch out for these guys

Shellabys took 3 weeks to repair my a.c. issue. I have M.S. and trigeminal neuralgia. Heat exacerbates M.S. to a point of delerium and severe mental and physical weakness. For 3 weeks we camped outside with a box fan and an air mattress. It was miserable. They only came by a few times the first week and then once a week until the last day of installation. Our warranty company had an issue with the a.c. company.I paid my 85.00 deductible on day one. That should have been the full amount due from me. On day 18, the a.c. company finally come over with a desperately needed unit. BUT they sprung a 300+ Bill on me after they installed new unit. This was an added charge that was not presented to me until the 2 installers were done. I was beyond exhaustion. No energy, and a non working brain to comprehend what was happening. Only so glad to finally have AIR. Then one of the installers argued with me about the extra amount , remember, my deductible was only 85.00. Thats all. The installer told me, quite sternly, that if I didnt write the check, He was going to Rip that unit off of the pad unless I wrote the check. So I was forced to comply. But I wrote on the check that I was signing it signed Under Duress. He sued me for the check. Its been a tough ordeal for me physically and mentally. Now I will be forced to file charges against Shellabys for putting us through those 3 weeks of hell. I missed work, appointments, and quality of life due to their lackadaisical attitude and approach to solving my a.c. problem. They should stick to the area in which they reside. It seems as though driving to Corpus Christi is too far out of their scope to take care of an a.c. issue in a reasonable amount of time. 3 weeks without air in September is ridiculous. The trip to the Rockport courthouse was long and crippling.Shame on Shellabys ac
