I’ve been using Fresh Air for about 5-6 years, and I’m always happy with the service. Marvin is a straight shooter who takes the time to make sure I understand the issue, options and costs. Marvin came by same day to have a look at our HVAC system after our furnace wouldn’t ignite. He arrived promptly, introduced himself, and asked questions about the issue we were having. He got up into the attic and immediately got to work. He was able to diagnose the problem quickly and replace a faulty sensor on our Honeywell zone panel. Because I’m a curious person, I joined him in the attic and he explained to me how the system worked, and what he did to confirm the issue. I definitely appreciated him sharing that knowledge with me. He gave us an upfront price for the sensor replacement and proceeded to swap out the bad sensor. Once replaced, he tested the system again to ensure everything was running as it should. I’d not hesitate to contact Fresh Air LP and hope all of their tech’s are as great as Marvin was!
Fresh Air technician Jevin did a great job servicing our Carrier system for fall tuneup. Jevin is very customer focused, explained all work being completed, answered all questions, and made sure system was working 100 % properly. He takes pride in his work and Fresh Air company making sure the customer is a very satisfied customer.

The people at Fresh Air are amazing. One of my units stopped working during hurricane Beryl. Despite the fact that they were extremely busy, they came out in a timely fashion. I actually got three bids and their bid was only $2000 higher than the lowest bid but included two variable compressor units and 2, 16 seer units ratherthan 4, 15 seer units. They really listen to what I wanted It was too wet for them to initially install the units outside, but they kept in touch and did the work as soon as it was dry enough. Their work was exemplary. They put down paper in the house and booties so that they would not track dirt and mud into my home They were so polite and professional. With Carrier, they have an excellent maintenance program. I rarely write reviews, but I can’t say enough good things about this company.

Grady, the technician, was great. Very efficient and knowledgeable. The appointment was to have been yesterday, but the company’s appointment staff had made a mistake so the appointment did not happen as planned yesterday. The manager talked to me about what happened, understood the urgency of the appointment, and made sure it was the first appointment of the day for Saturday. Not great for that to happen, but they did a pretty good job of service recovery. I have used them for 15 years, and this is the first significant problem I’ve had with them. Knowledgeable technicians, honest and good to work with.

Technician Grady Duvall came today for a first visit and did everything our former service should have done: Explained the controller the previous service installed and gave us written instructions for it, changed filters, cleaned the A/C system throughout, tested for and reported on many issues, etc. Grady was very patient and informative. Asked for a comprehensive evaluation of an existing system that is having repeated problems. Fresh Air sent Jevin G. To run a complete diagnostic and performance evaluation. His thoroughness and attention to detail listed the numerous little items that explains the inefficiency of the overall system. ie. He knows his stuff.

We requested a technician to inspect/service our HVAC system since it had been several years since this had happened. More importantly, I wanted a soft start so that we could run the A/C off a generator. The service date was surprisingly soon after our request. The tech, Jevin, arrived punctually and conducted himself very professionally..Unfortunately, our evaporator coil had a leak. This was not entirely unexpected, since our system was 12 years old. One can grumble at what feels like a short lifespan, but this is the reality of todays systems..On the plus side, our system already had a soft start. Jevin indicated this to me, when he could have replaced the component and I would not have been the wiser. I appreciate such solid integrity..Jevin explained the different options: replacing the coil, replacing the system, or upgrading the system. He gave me benefits to each of the options, such as just replacing the coil if were planning to sell the house soon; this would push the replacement onto the future buyers, which I would be perfectly fine with doing..He also answered all our questions, no matter how petty. We came to understand the implications of our decision..In the end, we have decided to replace the entire system and are anticipating their firm quote. For my part, my decision was based partially on my perception of Fresh Airs and Jevins integrity. I have used Fresh Air in the past for a different property, and this experience has simply reinforced my belief that they are a solid, honest, competent company that I can build a relationship with.
After struggling with AC issues for the past few years, we decide to try Fresh Airs services recently. They were able to idenfity a major problem caused by shortcuts taken by another company during the installation process.Weve worked with Camilo, Isaiah, Allen, and Grady over several days this week. I appreciate the quality of service theyve provided, along with their willingness to go above and beyond.They installed a new unit for us today, and during yesterdays visit they even took the time to make some temporary changes to give us some relief while waiting for the new installation. What more can I say but, Marvin is a very genuine, caring individual. There is not many people in Houston area let alone the world who will stop what they are doing and actually help someone in need.So my ac went out last night and I am no h vac tech, but I know enough to get by and check simple common issues. I first checked the capacitor and bingo that was the issue. I replaced it but still nothing.. called Marvin and told him what was going on and told him I didn’t have the money for the service call and was hoping he may give me a suggestion. He suggested looking at fuses on control board so I did and found bad fuse. Now this was several calls later of him giving me tips. This is the type of service that get you life long customers. You can’t see everyone as a dollar sign and sometime it’s ok to help when someone is in need. He saved my night and really made me realize that there are Greta people in the world. Marvin if you read this I want you to know that no one has ever done that for me and in the next year or so we will inevitably have to replace whole unit and I know for sure where I will be coming now. I have used this company since I moved my father and I into my home in 2014 for maintenance, after referral from family friends.. Well this summer finally overworked the original AC system. We first thought it was enough to replace the fan motor. That wasn’t enough. They were able to talk me down and several times saved me from spending extra money when it would’ve benefitted an “extra visit.” We spoke to the owner, Chandler and he was accommodating and one of his crews replaced the system and we were able to get the home cooler thank God! Chandler and his people at fresh air were able to carefully get my furnace upstairs in without any major reconstruction of our attic door. Through the whole process Chandler and his crew made the process less stressful. We’re really grateful and will continue to use Fresh Air.
We have been using Fresh Air for years. We recently had them install an entire new Carrier system. I cant say enough good things about them. Their people are all very professional and their prices are very reasonable. They do great work and all ways stand by their work and products that they sell. We love Chuck the technician who we ask for most of the time but all their techs are great. You cant go wrong with any of them. They did a great job putting in our new system. They made it easy for us to decide because they have so much knowledge on air conditioning and what our needs were. The owner of Fresh Air even called to make sure we were happy and completely satisfied with everything and still stays in touch. Like I said they really stand behind their work. Weve been customers of Fresh Air for over 10 years and across multiple homes. We have always been pleased with their work, fairness in pricing, and honest/ethical customer service. Our most recent visit was for a late-in-the-day call for a system that wasnt cooling properly. Even though they had MANY service calls ahead of ours, they had a technician at our house within 2 hours of my calling. Our technician, Marvin, was prompt, explained everything he was checking, and was honest in his diagnosis. As soon as he arrived it started pouring, but that didnt stop him from standing outside and troubleshooting our outdoor unit, in the pouring rain. Lucky for us, it was just operator/customer error, and nothing was defective. We never feel as if we are being unnecessarily up-sold on items that we dont really need or being told that something needs to be replaced when it really doesnt. Having a dependable and ethical HVAC company that you can rely on is comforting, especially in our harsh Texas climate.
Fresh Air did a great job replacing my a/c and then providing preventive maintenance. One of their techs, Carlos, could not have been more professional and even adjusted dampeners to balance airflow.

Great guy Jevin. Had a problem with a fan unit keep shutting off after 15 minutes. On the phone he was able to help me diagnose it. Something simple I overlooked. Turns out the capacitor rating didnt match the fan motor. All is good now.

Really amazing and professional. Had them check out a struggling AC, they fixed it and offered a reasonable maintenance plan to check on things a couple times a year when seasons change. Theyve proactively called and sent reminders to make sure these visits are scheduled. When they show up they dont just check the box, they actually made sure every part of the AC was good to go. Made me feel lucky I found them.

Fresh Air, L.P. installed a new air conditioner and ductwork in my home in April 2017. From my initial dealings with Andre, he was informative and helpful, but never pushy. He helped me to understand my potential options, gave the pros and cons for each, and really helped me to feel like I was a part of the process. The installation team were quick, professional, and obviously very good at their jobs. They asked poignant questions, especially for the ducting, that really helped me to get the most out of my purchase. It was a true pleasure to work with Fresh Air, L.P., and I highly recommend anyone looking for a new air conditioner (or even maintain your current one), to give them a call.

Had them out to my home in 2015 I already knew that I had lost my AC charge from a rusted connection at the dryer Taylor came out and welded a new dry on he then checked the system with air pressure to make sure there was still no leaks when he showed me how my system was still having a leak he said that my coil in the attic probably was leaking and suggested I get a new system because of age?? little did I know that this is a trick to show you a slow leak in the system? Luckily I have a neighbor who is employed by a major school system in heating and air and he added a bit more air pressure to the system and I waited about 3 days and Guess what??? there was NO LEAK in my system I suspect that he did not tightened his air pressure gage enough to display a leak to me!!! I did have t wait for my neighbor to get back from a small out of town trip be he flushed out my system added new freon and has been running fine now except for a bad starting capacitor which is not related to a leak in the freon lines!!
It is difficult in choosing an ac contractor: the cost to a homeowner replacing older, out-dated systems with upgraded, major systems can run into tens of thousands of dollars, a major investment. Whom do you trust? I did my homework: I just had a new 2-ac system with furnaces installed by the Fresh Air, LP team. Fresh Air sent a 5-member crew of technicians to install 2 new systems (2 zone acs with furnaces). I am impressed and very pleased with the work they did. They did a better job than the original homebuilder installation with the Fresh Air team adding typical features, like adding a T in the gas line to catch moisture, which wasnt added in the original installation by the home builder, among other specifics they added. Its turn-key work, everything done. They instructed me how to operate the new, touch-screen wi-fi thermostat, and I conducted a walk-through with the technician explaining everything the installation they did. Fresh Air LP is a Carrier dealer. One big-star-reviewed bidder had mandatory extras, whereas Fresh Air gave me a choice to add 3 extra options. I was pleased that I had a choice. The installation team was very polite and considerate and very attentive to my questions. I thank the Fresh Air, LP team and staff for a job well done. I encourage the owner to grant this installation team a bonus of some sort for their considerate attention to the homeowners questions and concerns and thorough work. Oh, did I say prompt? They arrived about 8am and finished about 4pm. This is how you retain clients. Thanks to all of you for a job well done! I had my a/c and heat changed out about a year ago from propane to electric. Everything was removed from my attic and all new a/c heat stuff was installed. I have been in law enforcement for 35 years and because of that I have a built in distrust of people when I first meet them. I have looked hard to find any inconsistency in their operation and could not. Every employee that I came in contact with was prompt, efficient, knowledgeable and very clean while in my home. They took great care to explain the fancy new thermostat to me. One of the service techs just left my home about 30 minutes ago after doing a one year checkup and changing the air filter. He was very much a gentleman around my wife and was as the rest of the folks I have met very, efficient. I will without hesitation always recommend Fresh Air to my friends. They have good techs, but they are not afraid to price gouge you. I was really disappointed by their blatant pricing. In December 2022, I was quoted 5400 to replace a 4Ton Carrier condenser unit, plus $199/lb of refrigerant.Another provider installed a Trane 4 Ton condenser f or $2000 less, and included the refrigerant. Enough said - going forward, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

‘Fresh Air’ is not customer focus and not professional in handling issues. My ceiling was damaged in the course of their fixing my A/C in the Attic. When I reported to them, they showed no apology and shifted the blame to plumbing and me. So, I called a reputable plumbing company and they saw no plumbing issue in my house. They said they would call us and they did not, highly unprofessional.
This company is an absolute joke. Their customer service is awful. They are rude (Josie). Their answering service that answers pretty much most of the time you call, apparently do not relay your messages. I have been with A/C all week. I called them back three times today. They told me someone was on the way. Then they tell me I never called them back so they were not coming today. I have pictures that I will post that shows I called them back within 4 minutes of the first time they called. The same exact minute the second time they called. 1 minute the third time they called. Their company phone number is blacklisted by AT&T as spam so it automatically sends them to voicemail that is not in my control. I notified them of this as well and was told it was my problem. This company used to be great before Fresh Air bought them out and since then, it has been completely awful. They actually want to charge you for a diagnostic visit even when you have a contract for diagnostic visits (Hello what is the point of having a contract if you are going to charge anyway?) Stay away from this HVAC company. Bad business.

After a dreadful experience with a home warranty company that couldn’t get our AC unit fixed for two months, fresh air LP not only took on the work, they came and replaced an entire condensing unit the same day that I called. Absolutely thrilled with my new unit and the service. The sales technician that came by my house for my free consultation was very polite and had a ton of information to share about the unit I was purchasing. This is a first class company and I would refer them to anyone lucky enough to be in there service area.
Fresh Air was definitely a surprise for us- we had our first floor AC unit break down where the second floor AC overcompensated. We originally called John Moore to come out to repair. They came the next day and told us that the fan had died and that they couldnt get the part until the next day. We happened upon Fresh Air in researching new AC units and we are so glad that we did! We called them at 8am- they arrived within 2 hours and not only HAD the parts, they identified that it was also the capacitor AND the fan motor. In calling them, they not only arrived with the parts, properly diagnosed the problem, and FIXED the problem before noon today. They also costed us HALF the amount of John Moore- and perhaps even less than that because JM hadnt included the capacitor. I would recommend (and will) Fresh Air LP to anyone. They were incredibly professional, transparent, and incredibly responsive.

I have a service contract with them to have my A/C units checked twice a year. They seem to do a thorough job. Jevin is pleasant to work with. He noticed that our units did’t have a drain switch. I decided to follow his recommendation to avoid future problems.
The company responded to my email inquiry within a reasonable period of time. Jev, the technician was personable and knowledgeable. He found the problem, was able to obtain the necessary circuit board an hour from my home, then come back and fix the issue the same day. I’ve used them for a few years now at my residence and office. Jevin and Taylor are my usual guys for scheduled maintenance, Jevin came out today because my air quit working at my office. He thought it was my transformer and replaced it. That was not the problem, seems it was a loose wire. He put the old transformer back on and no charged me. They could very easily said that was the problem and I would have never known. These people are honest and great and what they do. Please call them if you need Air or Heat work done.
We have used Fresh Air and their predecessor a minimum twice a year - Planned Heating and then AC checks. We are on their annual plan and have used them for years. The company and techs are honest and answer all of our questions. We normally get the same tech each time (Jevin).

The Fresh Air employee was also making recommendations on MY PROPERTY, advising the AC Units full replacement because of warranty is expired a few months ago.That has been done without my consent and no any further communication with me on this subject.So, I phoned the Fresh Air. During my conversation with one of the Fresh Air managers, responsible for the privacy breach, my concerns were rejected because it is OK to give “true” information to the “potential customer”!?You can imagine, that anybody can call to Fresh Air and give any reason (without official request) to obtain history of your AC servicing record, can be granted not just with that, but additionally with further recommendations and beyond.You also can guess the circumstances on the “advice” for expensive AC Units replacement which just turned to the 11th year, because the Units are just 1st year out of warranty!?Fresh Air Ex-Customer
Great experience today. The technician took care of our air conditioner problem. He was knowledgeable, honest, explained the pros/cons and was fast. Excellent service. I highly recommend.
After trying a few others, we have exclusively used Fresh Air for several years now. Their technicians are always professional, and are the only ones that seemed highly knowledgeable on the Carrier Infinity system we have. If you have a smart HVAC system, these are the guys to use.
After having been a customer with Abacus for sometime, we were getting tired of the very expensive bills we would get for the simplest issues so we decided to find another company. That led us to Fresh Air. We had them check our AC and then joined their maintenance program.During the transition we apparently had one more maintenance with Abacus that we forgot about. So for our fall maintenance my husband was getting a call from Fresh Air while I was getting a call from Abacus to schedule fall maintenance. I simply called the number who had left a message. My husband being a CPA is obviously very busy this time of year so he did forward a voice mail to me but that was the extent of the conversation. Not checking the two phone numbers (and since companies sometimes have several different numbers it wouldn’t have been a red flag anyway), I just called back the number who had called me and scheduled maintenance. Neither of knowing it was two different companies at the time. Abacus came out which is a whole other review because they did NOTHING apparently. Two weeks later, one of our units stops cooling very well. So my husband schedules service with Fresh Air. They find the filters dirty (Abacus never mentioned that) and Freon low. Just for 2 oz of Freon, Fresh Air charged us $500. They did nothing with filters except remove them since I said we would change them. I am not sure if $500 is expensive or not but I plan to compare anyway. The issue is that since we did not have our maintenance done by Feb 2 (which we already paid for) then they would not honor it even though it is still Feb. and even though they were told of the circumstances and confusion.I refuse to use a company who cannot honor a simple mistake especially since it hasn’t been that long and it was already paid for. Then charge what seems to be outlandish price and then want me to purchase MORE maintenance. There’s too many HVAC companies to choose from. I recommend finding someone else for your HVAC needs. I plan on continuing to search until I find a company that can live up to my simple expectations of just doing business honestly and fairly. I know they are out there.... Fresh Air and Abacus just aren’t.Alane
My AC hadnt been serviced in years. Jevin did a great job explaining what needed to be done, if it could wait and why. He also talked through some options regarding an issue I was having with hotspots in the house. Discussed the pros, cons and costs of each option.
Jevin did the job requested and even took the extra effort of explaining how to replace air filters and exactly which ones to get to my daughter so that we can take care of the maintenance ourselves now and in the future and not be charged extra for simply replacing filters by them. I like this honesty as it makes it show that theyre not just out for a buck and believe in providing quality service.
After a busy work week my wife and I were looking forward to a relaxing Friday night at home. Instead we walked into a house that could double as a sauna. It was a normal 100 deg./99% humidity, August day in Houston, so our house was 85 deg. and rising. I called Fresh Air and their technician, Taylor Esquivel was at our house within an hour. Taylor was very professional and had the problem resolved in less than 30 minutes. They even called the next morning to make sure we were happy with their service and everything was still operating correctly.I would recommend Fresh Air for all your A/C Needs!Sincerely,Satisfied Customer

The technician was professional and pleasant at the end of what I am sure was a busy and hot day in multiple attics. He gave the options for a new thermostat pointed some of the gotchas fir installing the new one.

Our drain pan was venting out excess water into our yard (the pipe outside my house attached to the roof was dripping water non-stop). The tech came from Fresh air and charged $289 for a job that took less than 30 minutes ! Really ?! The invoice read as follows: CHECK WATER LEAK CHECKED AND FOUND DRAIN LINE BLOCKED BLEW OUT BOTH DRAIN LINES AND ADDED CLEANER TO LINE. Despite charging an arm and a leg, the problem was not even fixed. Another tech came the next day and said the coil must be changed and it would cost $3450 ! The coil was replaced with a brand new part just 5 months ago ! (Luckily the coil was still under warranty then, so we only had to pay for labor). We managed to find the number of the company who replaced the coil 5 months ago. The owner said an incorrect size drain pan was used while replacing the coil. He profusely apologized and replaced the drain pan without charging us anything. Very disappointing experience with Fresh Air. $289 down the drain (no pun intended)
Today, I had my annual ac unit check up for the upcoming summer. The technician who arrived was very knowledgeable and honest about the condition of the unit and what parts needed to be replaced. He was professional and I would recommend this company for others.
