Technician got a 1 star from me, their office gets a 5 star so net 3 stars:Technician review:The fan in my outdoor unit stopped working. I used them due to my warranty with American Shield and I will be staying away. Travis showed up and was very professional but told me my two options were paying $10k out of pocket for the cheapest unit or $17k for their inverse unit, even with the warranty. Told me the circuit board was fried and repairs couldnt be done.I recommend Rescue Air, they didnt just tell me what was wrong but showed me. Board wasnt fried, they changed out the compactor and the fan worked immediately. They noticed the refrigerant was low and pumped some into my unit to show how much cooler the AC was now running before going through with the repair.2/11 Update: home office review (Sonia)I had a pleasant conversation with their home office about my experience. I shared my part of the story and called out the replacements I were offered were not the quotes submitted. Quotes just listed repairs needed, which I were told wouldnt change anything because by circuit board was fried. Clearly the issue lies with Travis, the technician and not the company. Since I had gone to another company, they offered to reimburse my service fee I paid through the warranty. They assured me that is not the way they do business and honestly I believe them. No excuses were given, just a sincere apology and an offer to make it to to me. I would give them another shot but I highly recommend you get some sort of picture or email of the quote that the technicians gives you at your house and compare it to what they submit.
CityLine has been to the house twice. The first time for a capacitor that needed to be replaced, and the second time for a leak in the HVAC and as a second opinion through American Home Shield. Both times, they provided excellent service, and the technicians were extremely professional, helpful and responsive. For the second encounter with them, they provided the same diagnosis as the first company, but also identified a major issue with the plumbing that the first company overlooked. Alberto was the technician and was directly reachable when I had questions as I navigated the repair. Alberto and CityLine were able to fix the evaporator coil and damper motor for about the same price as the first company but with a 1-year labor and 10-year part warranty on the coil when the first company only provided a 30-day labor and 1-year part warranty, even though both went through American Home Shield. They were also patient with me and the numerous questions I had to ensure I made the best decision for the repair. For installation, CityLine sent another company they contract with, and they were equally fantastic. My wife was at home when they came, and mentioned how polite and nice they were. I went up into the attic after the install and noticed that they went above and beyond and also installed a sensor and introduced a grade to the PVC pipes out of the system to avoid a plumbing issue again. Overall, would highly recommend Alberto and CityLine. Thank you!
I recently had the pleasure of working with CityLine Air Technician Alberto Nevarez, and I cannot recommend him highly enough! From the moment he arrived, it was clear that he was not only professional but also exceptionally knowledgeable. Alberto quickly identified the issues with my heat kit, which were causing electrical problems, and presented me with two viable options. He thoroughly explained the pros and cons of each choice, ensuring that I understood the best long-term solution—not just for the upcoming season, but for the next decade. His expertise led to a swift diagnosis, and I must say, my home, which I’ve owned for 12 years, is now experiencing the best heating I’ve ever had, even outshining the attic unit replacement from another company in 2020. If you’re in need of HVAC services, I highly recommend choosing CityLine and specifically asking for Alberto. You truly won’t regret it!
Travis was awesome! So knowledgeable!! Not kidding. His experience through his travels contributes greatly to his expertise. He was able to identify an handful of issues that had gone unnoticed. So glad he was our tech!
Cityline has been a great experience for us. From the time of our old HVAC breaking down to the installation and more recently having Alberto come in on super short notice to check on our heating system. He was extremely knowledgeable and super easy to work with. One less thing to worry about now.
Our air conditioner stopped cooling last night. The inside temperature was 80°F and climbing. Called CityLine and they got a tech to come out within the hour, around 1pm. On arrival the tech quickly checked the inside unit, filter, and decided the issue was outside. He then went straight to the condenser, connected it a remote that read bad, and said it needed to be replaced at a cost of $5,500, and it would take several hours. He said the alternative options were keeping the condenser and repairing the compressor which would be just as expensive, or replacing the whole system for $12K. He said he was getting us a deal by waving the fee that comes with opening the supply office after hours. He did not notice or voice that the condenser fan was not turning despite the system being on. He also didnt seem to check any other parts of the outside unit. We got a second opinion right after and immediately found an obvious issue with the capacitor. We replaced the capacitor for $34 and the system is back up running. It is now 3:41pm.Highly recommend getting a second opinion before buying in to what this company says. Wish the CityLine tech would have figured out the simple fix the first time, as we paid him $89 for a wrong and unhelpful diagnosis.
5 stars for CityLine Air Conditioning! The technicians were professional and very knowledgeable. Derek, Travis, Dakota and Christian all helped to answer my questions. We had our AC serviced, new Gas Furnace installed with air purifier, and also had our air ducts cleaned. I would go to CityLine first before any other company!
Want someone to come to your house and try to sell you a whole new unit when all you need is a new filter? Hire CityLine Air Conditioning.Want someone to take one look at condensation build up at your vent cover and tell you it must be a roof leak? Hire CityLine Air Conditioning.Want someone to blame your condensing units breaker flipping on a bad breaker without inspecting the unit, filter, condenser, wiring, or breaker when all that was needed was a new filter? Hire CityLine Air Conditioning.Want to call a company to complain about their contractor not inspecting your unit at all and just trying to upsell you (the same day he was at your property), and never receive a callback despite being promised one the same day? Hire CityLine Air Conditioning.Want someone to blame you for their technicians incompetence and salespitch style with no real inspection or resolution being attempted? Hire CityLine Air Conditioning.Theyll get you covered for all of the above. Want an actual reliable company to get the work done and resolve your issues as they should? Look somewhere else.PS: Youre totally right CityLine Air Conditioning the first 2 photos absolutely look like a roof leak not a condensation build up in the duct work caused by an overworked and clogged unit (despite a roofer confirming otherwise).
The tech was very nice and knowledgeable… however less than 30 days after they came out, I still had the same problem. It was over the holiday so I didn’t call until afterwards so they refused to come back out because I was 3 days past the 30 days. So I have to spend another service fee for them to come back out to fix what they said was fixed! I give 1 star but the tech was super nice.Update to my first review. I was not happy to have another service charge. In any respect, the text S was very nice and rolled up his sleeve to find out what the real issue. The guy worked very hard and cleared the pipe that was causing the leak that was thought to be from the AC pans over flow. The company offered to refund me a portion of my service fee. That is what I call customer service! 5 ⭐️
Subpar repairs and Inexperienced technicians! Not a trustworthy, honorable company. The 1st tech took 6+ hours to simply replace the a/c fan. After running the unit overnight, my house was still not cooling. Turns out that tech put it on UPSIDE DOWN!Then the next day, tech #2 came out and corrected it. I thought things were good until... Now its 3 months later, the fan has COMPLETELY FALLEN OFF and is laying on the ground next to the compressor. Cityline is trying to me pay again to correct their mistakes and overall terrible workmanship.
One of the problems you could encounter is that the technician they send to your location might attempt to do bodily harm on a cyclist or pedestrian with their work truck on their way to you. This is very unlikely to be in your interests as a customer or a member of the community. I always recommend working with technicians who are not enthusiasts of gratuitous violence.
Alberto from cityline came to check both heating units. He was very thorough and explained everything about his process during this visit. He was professional and did his job as promised. I highly recommend Alberto and cityline. Thank you.
We put a new system in with these guys, and when I inquired with them Im May about the warranty registration, they guaranteed that they do it after every job. They hadnt. Luckily we checked up it.Fast forward a few months, and the system went bad after 12 months and a couple days. They have a 12 month policy, and wont honor they extra few days. These guys are horrible at customer service. This place is horrible I will direct everyone I know to stay away from this company.Very Poor.
The owner Ed is downright dishonest, tried to charge me $34k for a 5T and 2,5T unit. That is with a home warranty and said he would file my claim for me. Safe to say I didnt do business with him and I would never refer anyone to this company. They will lie straight to your face.
My tech Travis was great and very professional. He fixed my unit within the first 45 minutes and showed me how to prevent this from happening again in the future. The office scheduled same day AC repair service which was a blessing in Texas Heat. A++
I never write reviews, good or bad. But I want to help other people. DON’T USE THIS COMPANY. Do your research, read other reviews (the 1* ones) and get a second opinion is all I can say. We use AHS and I’ll list all the issues below, but this company is truly the worst I’ve ever worked with for anything. Our AC unit stopped working so they came out, changed the capacitor and went on their way.AC worked for 3 days then went out again. It took them 2 days to come out the second time. They said they’d be there between 8-12 and showed up at 4pm.They then told us our compressor was broken and we’d need it repaired. But that wouldn’t fix it for long so they quoted us for new units ($5k or $10k) and showed us AHS would provide discounts. They could replace the unit the next morning or we’d have to wait days for the repair request to be approved by AHS. We chose to wait. They didn’t submit the request to AHS for 2 days and when it came back AHS would only pay for $600 of the $4k total bill.A majority of that bill was the cost of the refrigerant/coolant. We luckily have a friend in the industry who asked us why they were charging us for the R22 refrigerant ($200/lb) when our unit takes the (much cheaper) R410A refrigerant.I had to call Cityline 3 times to get an updated quote that showed the right refrigerant on it, and they kept claiming it was just a typo. The price never changed, but the refrigerant should have been at least 50% cheaper. They claimed they used the best R410A refrigerant you can buy…We were very uneasy at this point so had someone else come look at the unit. He asked why wires were unplugged in the unit… my belief is they unplugged it to convince us the compressor was out.Once he plugged the wires back in, he let us know the motor fan was the issue and would need replacing. This was a $200 fix rather than $4k.We got lucky. But my advice is DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. And if you do because AHS requires it, pay for the second opinion. Trust me.Also, check your unit, you can find the type of refrigerant it uses on the outside and the inside panel.Last thing – they never even submitted replacement quotes to AHS (because AHS would never pay to replace when they can repair). They just showed us a discounted price to prey on the fact that we were hot and hoping we’d replace the unit so it could be done faster.I hope this helps even just one person. Working with this company made me understand why people don’t trust AC companies. Use another company, any other company. Good luck and stay cool!
Great service and Team. Same day service with affordable prices. My tech Alberto was very professional and walked us through all our options. Will definitely use them for all our ac repairs in the future.
They have send me technian , (salesperson )from AHS for electric furnice he mess wit my curcit breaker and now system is not working includd water heater and second furnece and owen , now i need a electritian , and bc i did not accept theeir offer they claim worng info to home waranty
We were forced to used them by our home warranty. They attempted to repair one of our AC units and replace the other. The same day they “repaired” one unit they apparently broke the drain pan and we had water leaking from our ceiling. They then had to come back and put a new unit in…The second unit that they replaced stopped working about 5 days after it was put in. They then couldn’t come back to repair a brand new unit for another 5 days! Turns out they didn’t connect things correctly when they came back to fix it.Be warned.
We used CotyLine for one of our air conditioners, and they went over and beyond. They clearly articulated the issue and got it fixed in record time and with qualityA special shout out to TRAVIS who took care of us. I will certainly use them again!
Do not trust these people. They will try and purposely mislead you. Failed after three trips to diagnose the problem was a bad capacitor. I called a different repair man and in 5 minutes he had my unit running. They just tried to sell me a new unit for $12,000-$15,000. I believe they were deceptive on purpose and used 108° weather to try and trick/force us into a purchase. This despite my husband being 67 and diabetic. The capacitor was literally bulging.
We want to give Sarkis a big pat on the back for being thorough as he worked and he answered and explained any questions if we had any.Herepresented City Line well.
I have had the pleasure of working with CityLine on two separate AC repair issues in my home. First would like to commend the company for the incredible professionalism and responsiveness. We had the privilege of having Matt as our Service Technician on both occasions over the past 2 years. On both occasions was blown away by Matts professionalism, expertise and just the overall exceptional Customer service he provided. We had a separate situation that caused some water damage in drywall and Matt went out of his way to recommend someone to help us with some drywall/paint work that we need to have done. HIGHLY recommend CityLine and Matt S.Alberto from CityLine visited today to provide our seasonal heating system inspection. He was so very friendly, knowledgeable, and did a great job explaining everything he inspected thoroughly. Very pleased!
Carrie, Christian, Matt and Manny were phenomenal! Carrie was very good with following up with me. We played phone tag and she always returned my calls. She was patient, knowledgeable, professional and she answered all my questions. Matt came out on a Sunday and was very polite when breaking the bad news to me that we needed a new air conditioner. Christian explained everything he did when he installed my new condenser(air conditioner unit). He and Manny were wonderful and finished much earlier than I thought. I enjoyed them playing Reggae and Tejano Music at the same time while completing the install. I will keep calling CityLine Air Conditioning for maintenance and tune ups. I will also call them this winter for my heater to be tuned up. I highly recommend CityLine!
Its the middle of summer and your kids tell you its hot upstairs. Your heart drops as you think about the costs of a new AC. I called CityLine and they not only came out the next day but had it fixed within about 20 minutes. The technician Travis was prompt and courteous and saved the day.
Sarkis was excellent with his HVAC Tune-Up. Very friendly and answered all questions I had about the system. Well done !
Sarkis from CityLine AC was very professional and knowledgeable about his profession as an AC Technician. I would highly recommend him to anyone that I know and I would request his services again if any issues with my AC arise in the future. He is an important asset to CityLine AC now and in the foreseeable future. 5 ⭐️’s out of 5.
The service techs they send out are very kind and hard workers. The company is very fair and willing to go above and beyond when it comes to customer service and satisfaction. I would definitely recommend this company for your A/C needs.
Came in and quickly diagnose and showed us the issue. Knowledgeable technician (Travis) and also gave us other option available to us. Thank you Travis.
I had a great experience with Sarkis when getting my air conditioner. He was super friendly and professional from start to finish. He explained everything clearly and answered all my questions. The installation was quick and easy. Overall, I’m very happy and would highly recommend the company and above all Sarkis!
Sarkis was professional and efficient. He checked our unit and emailed me pricing for additional services.
I used city line and Sonya that works in there office is a liar. They never fixed my ac and charged my mother credit card without her authorization. This is the worse ac company to use.
Do not use CityLine Air with American Homeshield. We were told by the tech our compressor was out but said replacing the compressor wouldn’t fix our problem, it was just a bandaid since our unit was already 10 years old. He recommended replacing the entire outside unit. However they would not submit for a new unit to AHS, they would only submit for the compressor. So regardless of whether we paid $2500 out of pocket for the “bandaid” or $10k for the new unit, AHS would ONLY pay $280. This company is not out to help customers. No wonder they are NOT BBB ACCREDITED!
Had a wonderful experience with my tech visit today. Alberto Nevarez was extremely helpful, supportive and knowledgeable.
Alberto was my repair technician and he was amazing. He kept me informed as he inspected my issue and showed me before/after pictures. He was professional and courteous.
Stay away from CityLine Airconditioning. Dishonest technicians and management team. Promise for reassessment, but cancel after 7 hours of waiting. The technician said he would lie for us to get $5k credit from American Homeshield for a new unit if we pay $9k. I refused to accept their lie and then he said the issue is now the breaker, no the AC unit.
Cityline is the WORST AC company I’ve dealt with in 20+ years! The technicians are not knowledgeable, worst customer service support and completely unprofessional. After coming to our home 4 times, AC unit STILL doesn’t work and our unit is 2 years old!!! They do not deserve even 1 star. The worst company and should not be allowed or trusted in residential service.
Travis was thorough in explaining the work he did and the recommendations to improve our HVAC system
Darique was fantastic today, came in and checked out our system and showed me the levels were all in range. He was incredibly nice and knowledgeable on the entire process. I would definitely recommend him to anyone!
This is a fraud company ... they will try to sell you a unit .. and submit false information to AHS to deny your work so that they can then try to make money of youBeware of this company. CityLine was assigned through AHS. The technician, Sarkis, came out and diagnosed that the compressor was old & bad and that he will submit to AHS and this should be covered. But CityLine management submitted false information to AHS and said that the compressor went bad due to a power surge ... and AHS denied the claim....: ..... when I called CityLine the rude lady named Sonia .... just said that you need to pay up ......Not completely shocked, but furious with this method of doing business. BEWARE!! of this company.
My home warranty company sent them to me after my air went out. My technician Sarkis was very professional and resolved my issue quickly. He gave me information to maintain my HVAC system to prevent future issues. Definitely recommend for HVAC needs
Beware of this companys employees. CityLine was assigned through AHS. The technician, Travis, came out and diagnosed that the compressor was bad ($3100) and that it would be cost effective for me to upgrade my whole system.($17,000). It turned into a 20 minute sales pitch that made me question his integrity. Of course, I called AHS to have a 2nd opinion in which, A-US Air Conditioning was assigned and informed me that the compressor was good, but the wires had been unplugged to the unit. Not completely shocked, but furious with this method of doing business. BEWARE!!
Travis and Sarkis were super helpful and patient with me during the heat tuneup!
Travis came out and diagnosed our AC unit quickly and efficiently! We had another company come out before and told us we had to replace our entire unit!! Come to find out we only had a leak in our coil. Saved us time and money!!
Dont support a company that doesnt care if their staff threatens the safety of cyclists and pedestrians. Road rage is entirely unacceptable, especially when in a company car.
Great service. Fast and efficient. Santino was very knowledgeable and friendly.
We called 2 other companies to come out before we called CityLine. The other companies told us there wasn’t any issues. They were absolutely wrong and we knew it. CityLine was the first company that knew we needed cleaning and was competent enough to recognize what needed to be done. We absolutely recommend and appreciate everything they did! Thanks again guys!
Santino Williamson, and his partner Travis, are great people and provided stellar service all around. Very helpful and knowledgeable about AC systems and servicing options. Highly recommended! Thanks so much again!!
Booked regular maintenance check from city line and the technician Travis was on time and walked through everything. Check all the points and was happy to answer all of our concerns and questions. Overall he did an amazing job
Top tier service from Travis. You can tell he loves what he does. Not only did he give me some tips to make sure the unit stays at max efficiency, but he made me aware of some future moves to address the allergy problem in the house. Again, top tier.
Travis did a great job, explained everything and is very knowledgeable.
Travis has been great helping me make informed decisions on replacing my 15 year old hvac system and continously following up with me to make sure i am happy with the hvac replacement. Francisco and Eddy were awesome installers making sure the replacement process was seamless.
STAY FAR AWAY from this company.. they will break your equipment just to get more money from you. ALWAYS get a second opinion if CITYLINE AC gives your system a diagnosis because 9 times out of 10, THEY ARE WRONG! If American Home Shield assigns you with Cityline AC ask for another company because you WILL REGRET going with them. They don’t like to follow city codes or inspection guidelines.
CityLine was very responsive to my request for help and support on my A/C system when it stopped cooling. Both technicians, Travis and Alberto, that worked on troubleshooting and solving were very professional, knowledgeable, hard working and thorough. Alberto was fantastic throughout the customer experience and in resolving our problem.
Reliable! Dependable! Excellent communication! When my AC completely crashed they diagnosed same day, ordered new units and installed quickly and affordably. As a Sr. citizen on SS, I truly appreciate and value this kind of service.
Alberto was great as always and very thorough and professional. He is a definite asset to CityLine and should be commended on the interaction and impression he leaves on your company. Every business needs an employee like Alberto. CityLine is my go to HVAC business and I will recommend them to anyone, thanks in much part to Alberto.
Alberto was very professional and fast. He quickly diagnosed the problem and had our Ac back in no time. The whole experience with the office and the team was great. Thanks
Terrible acts on the road. Dangerous to the community and very aggressive vulgar “professional.” Would NEVER do business with them.
Sarkis was very efficient in diagnosing my AC he was very knowledgeable and friendly would highly recommend him as well as the company. Good vibes from the beginning.
Santino was very knowledgeable, curtesy’s, and ver professional.
I have several rental properties and have worked with several HVAC companies in the DFW area. Due to some scheduling conflicts I had to use CityLine for an Emergency visit. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised! The City Line tech (sorry I cant remember your name!) that came out was very professional and was able to diagnose the issue and even had the part available on their truck! The price was very reasonable and with their quick response time they got my tenants unit up and running in no time!! I plan to use them moving forward!
Darius perfect service. Excellent work, explained everything so I will understand clearly.
Alberto the service technician wasvery professional and knowledgeable. He is a great ambassador for the company. Will recommend the company to others Darique came the next day and cleaned all the duct work also five stars very professional great job
I would give 0 stars if i could. today the technician shgowed up and immediately had an attitude. he asked where the attic space was and i showed him in the garage and i had aLready backed my car in the garage back halfway so he could access the stairs. He told me i need to move it so he doenst hit my car with the drain pan. This was shocking especiallygiven that my car is a convetible mercedes! he said fine move your golf cart. the golf cart was about 6-8 feet from my car. seems like plenty of room to slide a 2 inch pan by? Iasked him to please provide a recap of the work being done today and he resonded drain pan I told him ok butthere is also the drain pan water line that you guys installed at an upwards angle which prevents my system from flushing he resonds with an attitude and says yeah that too its apart of the pan. I then in formed him that we also need our ducts sealed to the air handler system which should also b ecovered by my warranty. he said hes not ding it so i told him im going to go inside and call your office to clear up the misunderstanding. Keep in mind that becase these and several other ducts werwent sealed there is a off gas smell which caused us to have to take out 10 month old to the ER for beathing issues. we also spent 27 days out of our house with a sick teething baby due to this. The technician kept raising his voice saying sir i want to explain I had to hang up a conference call and was headed back in to call his office and resume working as he arrived 1:15 late. i took today off from work and waited an additional just to watch him sneak out out my garage leaving both the door and attic entrance wide open. When i called a lady started on the we dont have you in our recourdsi said maam we are so far past this ive already had these discussions and your technician was just here. She responded with hes not coming back and we dont have anyone else to send.I will conclude with it took me several weeks to even get an appointment along with no less than a dozen emails with pictures proving me case.sorry last thing when you gt a air handler the contractor has 90 days to register yoyur system. they failed to do it so now i am short 5 years in my warranty. which they denied.dont walk away, run.
I recently had my AC unit replaced by CityLine. Travis, Christian and Paola were great to work with. They were professional, responsive and my unit was replaced and working within 1 day.
Travis was very courteous and explained everything to me. Fixed our problem and was very professional.
Travis did a great job! So happy with this service. Highly recommend!
Alberto and Darique made a good work they are very professional person, arrive on time or make sure to explain if there is a delay, also, they explain every step that they are doing and if they noticed something they will tell your right away. Alberto speak Spanish fluently which is a really good plus.
Sarkis was the very professional and quick in taking care of all our HVAC needs. Would highly recommend him.
Wonderful experience with this company, cant thank them enough... They work with me and help me get my AC up and running again. I wound up needing a few extra parts which wasnt included in the original estimate. I was taken back that they didnt charge me for any of that...WOW I found that really nice of them, it was a lengthy repair. I was expecting them to charged me for labor at least, but they chose not too, it took them most of the day to get everything fitted and put back together... Thank you very much Ill definitely be returning if I should you need their services in the future.
These guyz showed up through my warranty company four months back . They suggested to do replace AC and gave their estimate , I could get the job done much cheaper through my old AC technician. Now this company is not submitting their final report to my warranty company American Home Shield so I can request cash reimbursement. Not a good experienxe , have called them many times, this is another commercial oriented co that only cares about selling you but refusing to provide customer service or support when needed . American Home Shield should reconsider them as their vendor . Here is my warranty ticket number 240259188. I’m in touch with AHS and they need to know bad reviews these guyz collecting for warranty work .
Like many here, CityLine was referred to us through American Home Shield after the blower motor in our HVAC system failed. I will say that both technicians that came here were professional and friendly, but it seems evident that CityLine uses their business relationship with AHS simply as a lead generator. After diagnosing my issue the technician said hed submit the claim to AHS, but he warned me Id have to pay out of pocket around $1,500 with no clear details as to why. Sure enough, seems CityLine knows just the words to use in their diagnosis to cause AHS to deny a claim, then they quoted a good 50% over what I think the repair should have cost. I was skeptical and requested a 2nd opinion from AHS. The 2nd company they sent out promptly diagnosed the problem, resubmitted the claim to AHS, and fixed the blower without any drama. In fact, they said they frequently have to come behind CityLine after a questionable diagnosis. My advice to you if they are referred by AHS: Take their diagnosis with a grain of salt, dont argue, and just request a 2nd opinion if your claim is denied.
I was very impressed with CityLine. I got three bids and they had the best value for the product I selected. The installation team was excellent. They went above and beyond to make sure every detail was installed correctly and even found some issues on my vents that were on my second system and fixed them for me. They were so professional and helpful that I tipped the install team. I will call them first when my second system needs replaced
Alberto provided great knowledge about our system along with customer service
If i could give this company -10 stars i would. theyve been out to my house at least 5 times (only because theyre who my home warranty company contracts out to). they literally have no clue what theyre doing and they dont care if they get it fixed or not. DO NOT HIRE THEM!!! i cannot express that enough. we put in our first ticket on june 6 of this year. its august 2nd and we still dont have a fix. after they fixed one part, they said we needed freon and that would fix our problems. my husband wasnt convinced since our ac was cooling but downstairs wasnt. of course they wanted us to do that though cuz it was another 900 bucks. we got a different company to come out and within 30 minutes he was able to tell us that the motor had gone out. now why couldnt city line figure this out??? must have been the freon though right?? Santino is the absolute WORST and so rude. he came to my house twice. the first time he was here less than 30 seconds cuz someone else installed the part so he needs to come backthe second time he had an attitude. WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN and if i ever hear someone say theyre using this company i will literally pay for them to go thru another one myself if that means that they wont use city line.
I was referred to CityLine by American Home Shield home warranty. A technician came out, waved his leak detection wand, and said we needed a new unit. $10,000. Something felt off about the whole experience, so I got a second opinion. Sure enough, all I needed was a new capacitor, a common issue. It was painfully obvious how busted the old one was. And, according to the second opinion, in order to even diagnose a leak, the unit would have to be opened up. The unit was sealed with a plaster since it was originally installed, meaning there was no way the leak could have been properly diagnosed.Maybe this was just a bad technician. The other thing that bothered me was after getting an proposed invoice that would be $10,000 for a new unit, there was this line item:If you give AHS and City Line a 5 STAR review within 7 days of completed work, you receive an additional $500 towards the cost of upgrading to a new High Efficient Complete system upgrade!I dont know if I can trust a business that is buying reviews with such a large incentive.
Matt is awesome. Called today and he was able to fit us in to his schedule. Got our heating system up and running. Does a good job of explaining what he is doing and why. We have a yearly maintenance agreement with CityLine. Best company in McKinney that we have worked with.8/26/20 AC upstairs was not working. Called Matt at 10 am. He was at our place by 3.Quickly figured out he Had to replace capacitor. AC up and running. They are the best!Called 4/7, AC not turning on, as part is service agreement Matt came out morning of 4/8, performed maintenance fixed clog that was causing AC to not turn on, flushed all of the lines , no charge for fix, part of yearly maintenance. Very thorough is his maintenance. Still the best.
Nothing but excellent and outstanding service from my first interaction to the completion of the repair. Amber in the office understood our dilemma and the urgency. We noticed some leaking and we just had new floors installed. She immediately rearranged some things and had a service guy come right out. Kanon looked at our AC and thermostat and knew immediately the problem. Not only did he fix the issue, but also gave me recommendations to keep it from happening again. True customer service!!! I have your company’s name for future reference, and will recommend you to anyone and everyone!!’
Sarkis was fantastic! Very professional and quick.
These people were sent out by AHS warranty company and if I could remove stars from their reviews I would. The ac was *struggling* when the tech got here, after going up and removing the panel on my ac, the unit stopped working completely I was quoted 6000+ to fix the issue, or complete replacement for 10,000-20,000 I asked if there was anything to be done while waiting for a response to get it back to the struggling state it was in before he looked at it, and he said no, this unit is done for. It was 110 outside. AHS then sent a second opinion who told us the power to the unit had been disconnected. Go with someone else. You can get a brand new unit with financing options from other companies for nearly what he quoted was the cost to “repair” my unit. On top of this he lied about the gallon size of my unit and was trying to double charge me for refrigerant, when come to find out, there was no shortage of refrigerant. Complete crooks.
I have been working with Cityline for almost a year through American Home Shield. My AC condenser and furnace finally gave up and this company quoted me with extremely competitive price and was thoroughly responsive and customer service is also amazing. Kudos!
Travis did a great job would highly recommend
CityLine Air is THE BEST!!!! They are honest, professional, very knowledgeable in their field, and reliable! I have found that to be true of the entire staff - from the owner, to the office staff, and the technicians! I have recommended them to friends who have also been very pleased with their work and their overall experience with CityLine Air! The technicians were always on time and contacted us prior to their arrival. They were very careful in my home and took extra care to lay down drop cloths prior to removing all equipment in the attic. The technicians were very nice and professional and did a great job! Keep their contact info close at hand, you will be glad you did! Thanks CityLine!
Just had the a/c service by Habib and everything is working great now. He diagnosed it right away and was accurate. He was also very professional and friendly. Checked the entire system and verified it was cooling after the work was done.
Sarkis was very friendly, quick and explained everything to me
Run the opposite direction. Do not trust them. They installed the furnace incorrectly. No testing and no city permit was pulled.Unethical business, they did a rush job and refused to own their mistake. The incorrect furnace installation resulted in complete system failure. They sold us a new furnace because the failed component was on back order and would take months. We had terrible experience with this company. Furness broke, they backed us into a corner to replace the whole unit which they said takes a couple of days. Vs. waiting months to replace the “failed component” as its on backlog. predatory practicesThe only thing that “failed” was their ethics. They did a rush job and did not assemble the unit properly. Most companies take a before and after photos anytime they touch a unit. This company doesn’t.They showed up at 7 AM (instead of 9 am which was their scheduled time) and rushed through installation. When we told the technician none of the vents worked aside from the one in the hallway, he said “wait for the unit to ramp up” and they “should kick in. Which never happened. We rarely used it during springWould NEVER EVER EVER recommend this company.
Does not care about their customers. I had them come out and repair my furnace. Three days later it didn’t work and was getting very cold in my house. They told me they couldn’t help until Tuesday. I asked for a refund and was told someone would call me. It’s Three days later and no one has called me. They also gave me an estimate of $350 to fix the drain pan because it wasn’t installed correctly. They are the ones who installed it. 100% guarantee only applies if you have no problems. Terrible customer service. Terrible work done.
Had a brand new AC unit installed not even a year ago … and have had nothing but issues with it. Hoping this gets resolved soon as it is about to be summer in Tx. ( it’s May and it’s already 10 degrees off) currently waiting on owner to call me …. I’ll keep you posted .
From start to finish, everyone at CityLine were amazing to work with. Matt identified the problem and gave us several options on how to fix it, giving us his number if we had any questions. Christian and one other gentleman (sorry I didn’t know his name!) came to do the work and stayed until the it was complete...a 10-hour day! Couldn’t be happier with the job they did and we have a cool house again!
I am a realtor and Matt Sloan from City Line Air Conditioning has helped me out so many times. When my clients need a quote or just need to get their units serviced he is always there. He is extremely professional and honest. I would highly recommend City line. Thanks Matt for always taking great care of my clients!
Matt provided incredible professionalism, service and attention to detail. We couldn’t be happier with the work done for us by CityLine! We found CityLine after they were a contractor we could choose from with our American Home Shield warranty. Matt ensure we were taken care of, the problem (bad blower motor) was fixed fast and efficiently and Matt ensured we were educated on all of our questions about our HVAC system, tips on keeping it running at top quality, etc. We will definitely choose CityLine in the future!!
Matt Sloan did a fantastic job. He came out in 10 minutes when our A/C shut down in the house. He got everything up and running and found a few things that out warranty company didn’t address. Highly recommend getting a service plan.
I have American Home Warranty service. They called CityLine to do make repairs to my HVAC.Matt was sent out 2 days after the call, it was Christmas. Matt found the problem within a few minutes and told me it would take a few days to get repair parts as it had to be approved and handled by the Warranty Company. I asked if there was anyway to rush the service even to the point of my guarantee of payment. He said he did not know of any way to rush the Home Warranty co.Matt then started checking and was able to determine my unit was still under Factory Warranty (something i had not even considered). He made a call and left to get the repair parts and installed them within a reasonable time. Because of the personal professional service Matt furnished, the AC was working within a reasonable time frame. I can only hope my next problem will be handled this quick. Home warranty Companys are only good to get a service rep on site quickly, on non holidays, not to get a quick repair. They take forever to get anything approved. However it is nice to not be billed for repairs. Thanks to Matt and CityLine my AC is working for the New Year. The warranty co. Received a break and I got fast repair. The HVAC is not a luxury for a lot of people in Texas. Thanks again Matt.
The AC is working!! Christian did his work quickly and was easy to work with... Yes. I would recommend this company. I really appreciate the effort your company made to correct the original delay, once it was determined there had been a communications failure. Three or so weeks without our unit was very annoying but you guys did your best to make up for that failure. Thank you for getting it resolved!
The technician Santino was very professional and thorough. He explained what was going on with my AC. I was happy with the work done and would highly recommend Santino.
Alberto was extremely professional explained everything clearly gave us options very happy with his service visit. We will definitely be calling CityLine back for additional services.
Not trustworthy at all!! I called them for the system tuneup offer. Heating was not working, technician said flame sensor was gone. He replaced it and the system did not start. He then said other senior technicians need to come in and check. The senior technician came in and said induced motor is gone and other things need to be replaced.gave me a quote of 1200$. I got another company to take a look and he fixed the issue in 10 mins. He said that flame sensor wiring was not done correctly. Neutral wire plugged into motor vs main etc. Basically switched wires and fixed it. No motor was gone. charged 1/10th of the quote!!
Trey is AMAZING!!!! Best AC technician that I have ever encountered. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and personable! He is definitely the reason why I will call CityLine for all my AC needs!!!
Thanks to Matt and his team, Chris, Robert, and Manny that helped us when they installed our new unit. We been using City line air over a year and half and about two months ago we came home and our air conditioning wasnt working, we called after hours and left a message for Matt to call us when they open the next day, but Matt called us back right away, and came out to try and get our air back working that night. We had a leak in our Coil and we needed a new unit because the unit was 30 years old and it would not be wise to put a new coil into a 30 year old unit. The whole staff was great to work with from the installers to the office staff, they worked with us from the beginning to the end. Thanks City Line Air.
Excellent customer service, professionalism and kindness, from every member of staff, every step of the way. High quality people and high quality work. Thank you, CityLine!Alberto came today for spring maintenance and I continue to be impressed with this company.
This company is just a scam, they tried to get me to pay over $4500 for something they told home shield that was nothing wrong with. When I approached them about it they lied!!!!!! Beware!!!
I specifically asked for the services from CityLine from my warranty; and then contacted Cityline to ensure that it was going to be Matt (as he had prompt & exceptional service done the prior time). Again this time around Matt was consistent, prompt & quick in diagnostic & repair. Thanks Cityline for keeping Matt, he is an awesome AC tech.
We were having AC problems for the last 3 weeks as our home warranty company sent multiple technicians with no results. Finally the home warranty company forwarded the ticket to CityLine for 2nd opinion.Matt from CityLine visited and was able to resolve the issue in less than an hour. They are professional and they take pride in their work.I highly recommend CityLine for your AC needs.
Matt was nothing but professional and kind! Whether he was installing our hvac system months ago or coming over late at night to fix a minor problem in our a/c! Price & customer service were great! Would use them again and definitely recommend to our friends!
The Service Pro was very professional & helped us understand a couple different issues with our AC system. Not sure we got all the New items quoted (some wiring/conduit not replaced) & had to remind of 40A breaker that was originally quoted at $398. Service Pro surprised we have no copay for repair, as it was on American Home Shield and they are horrible & made us wait 2 weeks to repair & we had to dispute countless charges. DO NOT EVER USE AMERICAN HOME SHIELD
We were fortunate that CityLine Air conditioning responded very quickly to our emergency -heater not working in freezing temperatures. Matt is vevery knowlegeable professional, he quickly found the issue, got somebody to deliver the nenecessary parts, and the heat was back on. Thank you, we will certainly become long term clients, and also recommend your services to all our friends.
These guys are the best! Matt was the guy that came out every time for me. He is honest, affordable, efficient and does great work. Ive used other AC companies in the past and they are just sleazy and try to upcharge me on everything. Use these guys for whatever you need and ask for Matt!
This company has come through for me on multiple occasions. They successfully did a complicated custom A/C system install as well as a furnace replacement. Both jobs were done professionally, with attention to both aesthetics and functionality. They have also come out on short notice when I ran into smaller issues with my system. I have not encountered anyone from CityLine who was not 100% professional and pleasant to interact with. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Matt Sloan served us today from CityLine Air Conditioning. He is excellent technically and great in customer handling. Explained me each and every step of changes he made and why he made. Answered all my questions. Advised me on how to keep AC in good shape.Like to get back Matt in future for any service need.
I have had nothing but positive experiences with this company. They hit all the important things for me:excellent communication, honesty, timeliness, proficiency, and just great guys that go above and beyond to make sure things get done right the first time. So refreshing. They were sent out to me by American Home Shield, but I would pay extra to get them back out again over anyone else.
Tech told me my compressor was bad and not working. Also told me that I had a Freon leak. Said it was leaking from inside my house. Had two other companies come out and there was evidence that the tech leaked out all 10 lb of the freon from my system and the compressor was working. The city line tech started giving me pricing for a new AC system for the inside and outside. Was at my house for 10 minutes. Called city line two times and was told the service manager would call me. And the home warranty AHS was no help at all
Stay away from these thieves and liars. technician Santino Williamson from CityLine Air Conditioning came to our house to fix our ac. I was not home but my mother was. He told her she needed to get ac washed and charged her 400$ cash and did not even give her a receipt, and told her that it was an electrical issue. So we had an electrician come out to take a look, which costed us more money. The electricians said it our ac compressor. So I called CityLine Air Conditioning and Sonia told me that they will send another technician to come out and take a look at it. On the day I called them to see why they are late. They told me that they never sechdual me.
CityLine was great 👍 technician Santino was able to get my ac up and working!! Ladies in the office are very nice and helpful! I give you guys 5 stars . Thank You Cityline
CityLine fixed TWO of our air conditioning units in two weeks. Matt could not have been more courteous or efficient. He is amazing! He came out on a Saturday and saved us from the Dallas heat. We are always a bit wary of the folks that AHS chooses to send to our home. With Matt from CityLine, though, they hit it out of the park! Having Matts contact number with CityLine is like having struck gold in this hot climate. I hesitate to let the public know that, because he might become very difficult to get. Thank you, CityLine, and thank you Matt for your excellence and efficient service!
This company was called out to my home (via American Home Shield) for a furnace issue. The tech mentioned that I would need a new furnace and that my air conditioning unit would not be compatible with a new furnace and that I would have to change out the entire system. Rather than sending in the diagnosis in a timely manner, and including the part about the AC not being compatible with a new furnace, they tried to upsell me on purchasing a complete AC/Furnace package directly from them. When I called to verify what the tech has said about the systems not being compatible, I was told theyd call back after speaking with the tech, which they never did. Not to mention the tech disconnected the gas incorrectly. Oh, and with that new system, they would give an AHS discount plus $500 discount for writing a good review on AHS, stating that if you dont write a good review on American Home Shield, you would be charged the additional $500. Meanwhile, when they did give the quote to American Home Shield, they added in an extra $2200 for bringing the system up to code that I would be responsible for, even though they couldnt tell me what the items were. Guessing the F rating with the BBB is not for naught.
Matt was awesome, went over several options to correct the issue. Covid safe, thorough job inspecting the entire system. Not pushy but informed me of all options both short term and long term to keep the system running.Would recommend to all looking for quality, professional repair.
These guys are awesome! Matt is the best and the entire crew, Christian, Manuel, Steve and Kaitlynn installed two units in our house. Very professional and well done! Entire staff is great... Thank you!
We have an older furnace that was having issues. Matt was out the next day and had it fixed and checked everything over for us! When he left, my thermostat was not getting temps warm and throwing codes. He came back out and found batteries had corroded in my thermostat. Put a new thermostat on, explained how to use it and was on his way! He was incredibly patient with us and was thorough. Cityline obviously has a great fleet of techs if they are like Matt!!! I will use them again for sure!!!
Great service call, Matt is a true professional. Will move CityLine up to my go to service provider.Matt and Dawson resolved my low pressure error in 5 minutes, gave me a thorough explanation of the issue and tips on avoiding and fixing the problem in the future.Do not hesitate, call them.
We worked with Matt in purchasing a new AC & Furnace- he was beyond helpful and kind and answered all questions we had ability. Went the extra mile to help us out and make us feel comfortable! Highly recommend Matt & City Line!
Matt Sloan with CityLine Air-Conditioning was curtious, knowledgeable, and very professional. He was super efficient and thorough in servicing our three systems. I highly recommend this company and will call on them in the future.
Great job doing the inspection, very thorough!
Travis is amazing. He answered all of our questions and was very friendly. I highly recommend City Line.
Was the recommended company through American Home Shield. Came out same day, repaired the part that was causing my AC to not cool down and they were done in 20 minutes. Very professional and quick. Will definitely use again.
Matthew has been my technician a few times and with each visit he’s professional, punctual, considerate, knowledgeable and pleasant. From start to finish, each experience with CityLine has been exactly what I needed in an A/C crisis. Texas summers are beasts, but CityLine is the best at taming them.
Great service above and beyond. Our Tech Robert was fully masked with shoe coverings and checked all aspects of our AC to ensure the repair of a new fan motor was fully operational. Thanks Robert and CityLine Air Conditioning. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing great AC service and repairs in Irving Texas.
Matt is the best! He always takes great care of our older system for the twice a year maitenance. My Australian shepherd loves him. He’s so nice and I always request him. Highly recommend him!
Matt did a wonderful job. He kept me informed as the job progressed and told me what was necessary of me after the work was done. He made sure that I knew about the warrantee. I would use CityLine Air Conditioning again.
I cannot express enough the gratitude me and my family have for this company! CityLine Air Conditioning and their business practices should be an example for any company out there. No matter what line of business it is. You could learn a great deal from them! They put the customer first and stopped at nothing to make sure we were happy in the end. They were very responsive to phone calls. I was pleasantly surprised to hear during the greeting if there wasnt a callback within 15 minutes another number was given for Victoria so that you could actually text the reason for the call and YES Victoria did respond to my text message! So awesome! My husband called our home warranty company, AHS on Thursday morning to setup CityLine to come out after another company we were dealing with never called us back after 3 days! We recieved a call from CityLine the same day and they scheduled a time to come out later that afternoon. Matt (who was terrific by the way!!!) arrived and accessed the issue. He worked with someone at the office to have a technician come out on the following day (Friday) to repair it. Jamal, Garrett and Odahir arrived at the promised time on Friday and worked into the late evening. They were wonderful and very professional! They even vacuumed the stairs! We were cleaning to get ready for a graduation party at our home so that was one thing we could mark off our list! We had a little issue with the air on Saturday morning, the day of the party so I left a message around 8:00 AM. Matt promptly called me back. He was aware of the time we needed to get to my sons graduation and realized he was unable to get here and repair the issue before we needed to get to the ceremony. He realized there was another technician in the area so he reached out to Alex! Alex was literally at our house within a few minutes and worked very hard to resolve the issue before we needed to leave! CityLine and all of its employees came through for our entire family at a very important time and we will be forever grateful! I would recommend this company to anyone who is having any issues with their AC! Each tech that came literally showed us that they cared! Its so funny because now Im walking around with sweats on because its so cold in the house and the thermometer reads 75! Not a bad problem to have considering the heat we had over the weekend! We are so thankful to everyone involved! You were absolutely wonderful! Thank you so much for being there for us!
A/C compressor went out and they responded very quickly, ordered a replacement since it is still under 12 year warranty and Christian and his helper installed it beautifully! Very hot temps this week so we were not out for too long. Very very happy with this company and their work!
Matt is absolute professional. He saved us twice when the ACs at home went out right at 6pm. He came out immediately and took care of each when it happened. Highly recommend CityLine. They are our go-to provider!
I am a very particular homeowner and am so pleased with the services, professionalism, courtesy & superior knowledge & workmanship from CityLine!! I was a bit apprehensive when I was told my heater needed to be replaced. I won’t tell you how old the other one was, but it had well outlived its life span. Matt checked my heating units and try though he may, the heater for the bedroom wing was “ done.” Caitlyn listened to my requests and concerns regarding installation of a new system!! Crew was amazing! Explained everything I needed to know and took extreme care in my home. Everything was left in perfect condition. I am part of the CiryLine AC club, a great value, where they check my units semi- annually. If you’re searching for a company that you can trust and will exceed your expectations- call CiryLine today! Customer for life❣️
CityLine was extremely professional, responsive and was able to assess the problem with our furnace and find us the best solution to get a new one. Matt made sure we were taken care of and I would highly recommend them!
Kanon from CityLine was very professional and knowledgeable. When I opened my front door to let him in he was kneeling next to the door and tightening up a loose screw. It is a quality individual who will see a need and meet it--just because he has the skills and abilities to help out. It didnt take much time or effort so no bill for that service. I really appreciate that and expect he approaches HVAC work the same way. Good value--maybe even additional value for your money. Thanks, Kanon!
Our thirteen year old air conditioner was having a hard time holding the temperature set on the thermostat. We called City Line air conditioning for a service call. Matt Sloan arrived at the promised time. We explained the symptoms to Matt, and, with one trip to the attic, Matt made a quick diagnosis of the problem. The coil was shot, leaking oil, and freezing up. Matt explained our options to either get a new coil or a new system. We elected for a new system. As Matt explained, patching a thirteen year old system would be a problem. Matt sent us a proposal for a new system within a few hours. We solicited proposals from several other companies as well. We selected City Line because its proposal was price competitive and because of Matt’s knowledge and professionalism. Two days later Matt and his installation team arrived at the promised time. Four hours later our new system was installed and running like a top. The installation team was efficient and took precautions to protect our home. City Line exceeded our expectations, and Matt was terrific from the diagnosis to the final inspection to be sure that it met his, City Line’s and Frisco’s standards. We would recommend City Line and Matt without reservation. They are also Veteran friendly, which is a plus for those of us who served.
Matt helped us fix our AC through our home warranty, he was prompt, professional, and answered all my questions. I had heard of people having terrible experiences when having to deal with HVAC repairs but from start to finish, Cityline was truly amazing to work with.
American Home Shield had them come out and didn’t fix the problem. They sent someone with very little experience. This was after waiting for 72 hrs for them to come. Then I had to call American Home Shield again to get them to come out again. That means I had to wait another 72 hrs. They never showed up or called. This company is terrible!!! Don’t use them for anything…
Was assigned them through my American Home Shield warranty. Their quote was outrageously high for the parts that needed to be replaced. I understand how a business works, but we are talking 15-20x mark up on items. Even with the home warranty covering items, they still managed to jack the bill up to juuuuust shy of what it would have been if I went with an independent quote and dismissed the home warranty; so they made out with my out of pocket and the money from the home warranty. I disputed the high quotes and was essentially told take it or leave it. Unfortunately, I was at their mercy as you can not request a second opinion from the home warranty - found that out after the fact. Work was solid and completed, but for the price, hassle, and poor customer service - I would avoid them.
Matt did an excellent job and patiently explained what he is doing and educates Customer on basic DIY maintenance. I would call him and his company when we need a HVAC repair. Nice person to work
As the owner of a property management business here in the DFW area, I understand the importance and value of a review and take it very seriously. My recent dealings with Citiline has been one of the most frustrating experiences Ive had. Late last week, one of my properties reported inconsistent cooling with the AC unit. We were assigned to Citiline AC through American Home Shield home warranty. They were able to come out promptly and on a Saturday however, I never received a follow-up call with their assessment of the issue and no work was done. I left a VM for someone to call me that day but no return call. I called again Monday morning, Tuesday morning and sent 2 urgent emails with no call or response back. The family that is living in the home has SEVERE health issues where high temperatures could exacerbate their issues, its now day 5 with minimal to no AC and its 100 degrees out. We ended up having to call another company to come out because we couldnt wait any longer for Citilines response or repair, which cost the owner, tenants and myself a great deal more time and money. When you call their number, your immediately put on hold for awhile only to be connected to a call center who really cant help you except to take your name down and to tell you someone will call back, which in my case, never happened. This was just plain bad business and based on the seriousness of this situation, I would not recommend them.
Awesome service. Complete system replacement in less that 24 hours and he came out the next day to double check everything
Very impressed with CityLine!! They were respectful from start to finish, very communicative and answered all of my questions with politeness and professionalism. Highly recommend!
This company was very professional. They were able to come out and fix my AC problem in a timely manner. I recommend this company 100%. I will definitely call them first if the need arises in the future.Mrs. Robinson
Santino was able to get my a/c cooling … Very professional and knowledgeable. Thank you
Matt was excellent. He was professional and very helpful even though it wasn’t the greatest news he was thorough and explained so that I could understand. Also, My Frenchie thought Matt was his new best friend.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!This company is a complete and utter rip off. My usual HVAC company is swamped and I was referred to City Line Air Conditioning by someone. When the technician arrived at the home ( late ) he was a bit unkempt and unpleasant. The guy was at my home for 9 minutes and 43 seconds. During this very short period of time he supposedly deduced that my a/c unit not up to code and it needed $3000 in parts. Keep in mind my unit had been serviced 7 months prior.Upon calling the company I spoke with Amber and this young lady expressed to me that due to the war in the Ukraine that parts ( a $9 uv foam blanket ) are higher now. The uv blanket went from $9 to $237.After speaking with her, I spoke with the service manager Colt and he expressed to me that even though the parts are that cheap on line, they have to inflate the cost due to the war. There were various other parts ranging in price from $16 to $80 that (with them) totalled up to$2700.Doing my due diligence, I had another company come by and look over my HVAC system and the guy who was the owner I might ad, told me that it was only one part on his list that was needed. He then also explained to me that my system was up to code and there wasnt anything else wrong with the system.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
Alberto, was great! Excellent service.
Sarkis did an awesome job fixing our ac our house is nice and cool again
Christian Morales is great. The Company is responsive to service requests but maybe doing work for AHS at a deep discount so it can recover its costs and profits by doing the add on work (under the cover of code compliance) covered by American Home Shield warranty company.and charging it to customers with warranty.
Wonderful service, new HVAC system and duck cleaning... Travis was so caring n detailed in all the work completed...they over did all expectations!!! Wonderful experience!!!
Very courteous and professional. We broke down on one of the many hot days we have had and they had us back up and running in no time at all. Thank you for everything.
As other people have shared, if you are an American Home Shield customer, stay away. I was referred CityLine from AHS since my A/C system wasnt keeping up, however, it was working. They said I needed a new coil where AHS would pay but they needed to replace everything else including the pvc pipe that drains (as the tech said) just fine. They came back to me with a quote of $2,800.00 to retrofit the system. Since the system was cooling, I called another company from AHS that I had used in the past. He said the fan motor wasnt keeping up. He replaced it and I only had to pay my $75 fee for the visit the AHS requires. System is up and going great and the second company said the coil was fine. Lastly, the tech unplugged my working unit on a Friday and said he needed to leave it off so they are not responsible if something else goes wrong, therefore, I need to not have air conditioning over the weekend for the upstairs where our bedroom is for as long as it takes to get the emailed estimate, the part and the service...got it?! Just stay away if you are like the others who have mentioned the same issue. Not cool....8/26 Response to your response: I never mentioned a budget so that is your assumption. If you feel necessary repairs consist of replacing perfectly good drain pans and pvc drains along with other perfectly fine parts - thats the way you want to do your business but not who I want to do business with. Lastly, the next tech put a leak detector on the coil and it didnt detect a leak. Just added a couple of pounds of freon along with replacing the fan motor. Air still blowing nice and cold a month later from your visit.
I would definitely recommend CityLine Air Conditioning to everyone . I am so impressed with the professionalism of Matt Sloan and every employee from CityLine Air Conditioning . The stress of COVID -19 did not impact their ability to deliver. Their product and service was impeccable . Great job to the team and I am so thankful I now have cold air !
Matt Sloan was great. He’s been out before and is always on time, polite, professional and thorough. No hard sell and always communicates what he is doing and what to watch for regarding your HVAC. No complaints.
Alberto was very through and took time answers questions.
Alberto was great. Very knowledgeable
Quoted $200 for Refrigerant Locking Caps which cost $15 online. They are a a couple of minutes to put them on. The technician said, they are a CODE now and must be put on before he can add refrigerant at $80 per pound and said the refrigerant is LOW. But my AC has been working fine (it may still need refrigerant to be added - Im calling another technician I used before). He quoted $480 for Locking Nuts and 4 pounds of refrigerant (after $10 per pound from home warranty)! Decide whatever you want based on that quote, but charging $200 for $15 locking caps and 2 minutes of work to lug them on is a scam IMO
I greatly appreciate the personal time and attention they provide their customers. They are professional and personable. They establish genuine relationships with their customers. We are on first name basis with both Max and Matt. They are knowledgeable and customer focused.
I used Home Advisor to find a good company to service my house AC unit. At first I got one from Kennedale out near Arlington. They were supposed be coming between 11AM and 1 in the afternoon. At 1:15 they were a no-show and they hadn’t called me so I called them and Home Advisor. They hooked me up with Cityline who could have a tech to my place with the hour. Matt and his trainee Cedric showed up on time and did a professional job. Pricing was fair and I was happy to have a cool house in 100 degree weather. The other company? Sorry. You lost out.
Matthew Sloan has been an outstanding representative of CityLine Air. He found out we could not be seen until the next day and made sure he stopped by immediately to fix our locked thermostat. We now have heat tonight for this cold spell! Thank you, Matt!
Travis was super informative and very helpful. Very professional with his job. Would highly recommend.
If American Home Shield assigns Cityline Air as the technician to do the work on your house, ask them right away for a better company. While the tech that came to my house was courteous and fun to talk to, what has happened since then is nothing short of ridiculous. The tech that came out found our issue rather quickly. Our condenser coil has gone out, and I realize that our unit is old. AHS will obviously only pay for the repair and a certain total for the freon. The repairs were authorized to be completed by AHS quickly. Then I get an call from Cityline to let me know that they have been authorized to replace the coil from AHS and they authorized $10 per pound of freon. Cityline then tells me that I need to come out of pocket another $2,150 on top of what AHS is paying to fix my coil. I was baffled. Luckily I was told to ask them for the itemized list of what $2,150 included. This is where the scam started. First on the list was 8lbs of Freon ($680) (my unit holds a TOTAL of 4lbs) Then there was a UV blank ($189), Freon Locking caps ($145 which are $35 on Grainger), Drain Pan ($245. $91 at Home Depot), Inline Drain Switch ($237. $19.97 at Home Depot), Plenum Seal ($289. All ducting is fine, and I refuse to pay $289 for zip ties). Last, $390 for a new drain line, which is all fine. Hanging fine, and draining the pan that is fine.CITYLINE WILL DRAIN YOU OF YOUR MONEY IF YOU ARE NOT CAREFUL. Luckily we got a second and third opinion. Both new companies laughed when they saw the proposal. They both told me that Cityline was intentionally trying to take advantage of me. I have this proposal that I will post if they try to deny. I will be posting this everywhere else that I can. Beware, you don’t have to give your hard earned money, especially in these times, to companies like this. They should be ashamed.
This company was assigned by AHS to service my leaking AC. They came out 48 hours after the assignment-yesterday. They did not fix the problem. Today I have called them 5 times between 8:30am and 10:30am and I always get answering service, leave message. AHS has called them twice and told them I need their service this morning. Its 11am now and they are not responding. I would give them NO stars for irresponsible, unresponsive company. DO NOT call them.
Great experience! Timely arrival. Quickly and efficiently completed job.Customer oriented teamfrom start to finish!
Excellent service. Quick response, quick repair by a highly skilled and friendly technician. Matt represent his company well. I would not hesitate to use again and again. Highly recommend this company.
Could not ask for better service! I received an appointment for the next day, they were on time, explained to me exactly what they did to fix the issue and were in and out fast! I will definitely be recommending them to all my friends and neighbors. Thank you CityLine!!
The technician Alberto arrived on time, knew the equipment he was working on, very professional, clean and was happy and very thorough.
The people commenting about AHS problems must not run a business. They give you options and tell you exactly what the problem is. I did not feel pressured and I understand non covered fees. Because I have a feeling AHS pays them nothing to put it in. Plus why would you spend 2-3k on a old system that is not even the new freon ?? (spellcheck) ps Cody was very on top of things and so was the install crew
Travis was helpful, eager to help quite knowledgeable
I happened to pick these guys through my home warranty for an AC issue, and theyve provided nothing but top notch service. Matt is the technician that usually comes out, and I cant recommend him enough. I cant recommend him and CityLine enough.
Do not waste you time or money with using this company. They will charge an inflated price and wont correctly diagnose or fix the problem. The experience I had was a young man diagnosed my a/c issue by looking at it, a crew came to replace my evaporator coil, and when it still didnt work they sent a high schooler to place mastic everywhere, not fix the actual issue. So now I will have to spend more money to fix what they failed to do. They also tried to reuse the zip ties on the ducts after replacing the coil. Upon further investigation there was more cool air blowing in to my attic than the house. It took miltiple attempts for them to call back when trying to report issues. Bottom line I have no faith in the services this company offers and I suggest looking elsewhere for HVAC or A/C service.
Awesome experience working with this team. Very courteous and prompt staff. They were moved with compassion when I said my little toddler was suffering without AC. They replaced my unit that very day and they work very professionally . God Bless this company and their staff.
Matt was on time, professional, and knowledgeable. Ive worked with him before and these traits have been consistent throughout. I would highly recommend the company and technician.
Excellent company. Very professional representatives. Robert Young solved our problem quicker that we expected. We are very thankful that they are available through our home warranty coverage.
Alberto was very good. He fixed the issue with the heater instantly and explained everything very nicely
CityLine Air Conditioning, offered the best customer service. They kept me updated with the progress of the work. Kept me informed about the appointment times. They completed the work to our satisfaction.
Matt and His assistant Rob were very professional in this difficult time with COVID-19 everywhere. They wore mast and took all precautionary measures for our safety. Well done Matt and Rob
HVAC wasnt the issue I was having, but Matt with CityLine was dispatched by American Home Shield to further investigate. Matt was honest, empathetic and professional. He checked out every potential option and helped reconfirm original suspicions that the plumbing was the source of the leak.
So like many people here this company was hired by American Home shield, they scheduled between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm it is 8:30 pm and still nothing no even a phone call. Like many people here, stay away from this company.
Matt,Did check the total my HVAC to make sure is there any other issue other than Themostat relay.Waited patiently to make sure the HVAC system is in and off after changing the relay. He is very helpful, friendly and professional.Came on time and took care of my issue.Regards,Shyam Yadavalli
Rodney and I have a lot in common and will probably end up being pals. Thanks for sending an honest trustworthy technician. He also speaks highly of Cityline and how they treat their employees.
As usual, the service call with Cityline Air went quickly and smoothly. The service man, Matt, was very pleasant and quite adept at finding the problem. I will definitely use them whenever I need an air conditioning service call.

Cityline replaced our AC units and stayed late to make sure everything worked. Even came back the next morning and made sure everything was operating properly. Nice people to work with.
Love this company! They are very responsive and Ive dealt with 4 employees from their company and they are all very nice, professional, and informative. I will only be using cityline air conditioning because they dont try to play games or upsell you. They tell it to you like it is.
Matt is the best repairman I have ever come in contact with. Smart, thorough, fast, and explains what the problem was and how it was fixed. The best possible service.
Alberto did great job 👏
CityLine A/C, has always been a rewarding experience. Technician Matt has always been efficient, professional, and knowledgeable. I personally request CityLine when my very OLD A/C decides to give me grief. Thanks again Matt.
I was seen by Matt for a second time now since using the company for bi annual maintenance. He is pleasant and abided by wearing proper protective gear before entering my home. Thank You, Matt !

The guys worked extremely hard and did an excellent job! I had my 22 year old AC and furnace replaced… all in one day! Would definitely recommend Cityline Air Conditioning.
Matt is an exceptional rep, offers superior customer service, and we are lucky to have found such an honest and knowledgeable technician.
Very professional and knowledgable. They stayed around until the job was done. I was inpressed considering how long it took and how hot it got on the attic (where the unit was located). I would totally recommend and use them again!
Quick response and nice, helpful staff, thanks to Matt and his partner our Ac is working great since they fixed it last week! Happy to recommend them to anyone I know!
Good communications thru the booking and service process. Matt the tech was on time, very good about providing problem resolution options and did a great job.
Great service!! The technician (sorry, don’t have his name) was super nice and courteous. Gave me great advice and was never pushy or “salesy”.
Charles Walter was very knowledgeable person, knew what he was doing. Initially AHS were sending some other company technician, I asked for some one else. I am glad with CityLine.
