Texas Green Plumbing

I have mixed reviews from my experience with Texas Green Plumbing. I ended up fixing my own problem, but they did find a different problem before it became a bigger issue.Our shower drain backed up, and I tried to use my own auger, but it didn’t seem to quite so the trick, so I called them over to assess. They checked it out through a few different means, ultimately telling me we needed a major overhaul to even address the shower drain, but would be well over $5,000. They also found the leaking pipe which was another $1,200, but I was grateful they found it. I wasn’t positive we needed to do the overhaul, but we definitely needed to fix the pipe, so I asked for two separate quotes.I thanked them, shut off the water, asked if they would mind me getting a second opinion since the price was so hefty. They seemed pretty taken aback by that idea, and said yes, but that they’d have to go ahead and charge me a little over $600 for their diagnostics. That sucks and seems pretty high, but I also get they just wasted over an hour helping me, so okay, I’ll pay the piper and ultimately hope I can save myself some money. But then he told me that if I didn’t have them do the work right then, I’d be recharged the $600 for the next visit, then also have to pay for the rest of the work to fix the pipe totaling over $2,000.So it was pay $600 for no work, then another $1,200 if I call them back, or just pay $1,200 now to get it fixed. I chose to have them fix it.Overall they did a great job, communicated really well, and kept our leak from becoming a bigger issue, thus the 3 stars, but I also felt I was getting taken advantage of a bit with the service fees and the overall pricing. Oh, I also just rented a long auger and got the shower drain unclogged myself.

Not sure what the previous bad reviews are all about because any issue and cost to repair are explained and must be approved by the client prior to beginning any work. These folks just repaired some gas leaks for us and all I can say is that the crew as well as the office were amazing. Honest, upfront and as professional as they come. I will be using Texas Green anytime I have an issue that requires a plumbing company and highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for honest and caring professionals.

This company is amazing! The employees are hardworking, professional, and informative. I had a leak from my shower handle. A previous plumber was unable to remove the part due to corrosion and told me the only way to fix it was to cut into the tile and replace the whole valve. Texas Green plumbers, Shay and Aaron, were able to work at the corrosion and successfully remove the part. I am so grateful that they were able to fix the problem with no demolition. Great company and amazing workers!

I appreciate Texas Green Plumbing’s commitment to doing things the right way. I had one of their plumbers, Aaron, come out and he did quality work. He was helpful and personable. We later learned he accidentally had left the washing machine drain pipe detached while running tests. We ran the machine and it flooded my sons room leaving the carpet ruined. I let Texas Green Plumbing know and Aaron reached out quickly with a hearty apology, and they replaced the carpet in the room. While that could’ve been a bad situation they were reasonable and showed their commitment to clients even when they make mistakes. I appreciate them and would recommend them to friends.

Could not have had a better experience with Texas Green Plumbing. Eli and Terry came out to look at an issue we were having with a sink/faucet. Literally the nicest people and we will definitely be requesting them specifically from now on. We have never had a negative experience with this company and would recommend them to anyone.

We have used Texas Green Plumbing in the past to fix our hot water heaters and they were fantastic. The plumber actually showed me how to troubleshoot the water heaters. When I woke up this morning and did not have hot water, I tried to troubleshoot with no success. With it being the weekend, I was afraid I wouldn’t get a call back. Roger immediately answered the phone and was able to walk me through the steps to light the pilot. The entire process took less than 15 minutes. He saved me so much time and money! We are so grateful Roger! You are our plumber for life!

My two water heaters were approx. 10 years old. About five months ago I had one go out. Texas Green was able to put me on the schedule within a few days and replaced both water heaters at a reasonable price. Installation was done in about four hours. The installers were super nice and professional and did an awesome job. Would definitely recommend.

If you require a plumber that can guarantee showing up on a specific day, Id say look for a company that doesnt have open windows like this place. Took a day off to facilitate a simple drain leak repair, figured it would be no problem as I live less than two miles from their location, but was never gotten to and told at 5:45pm that they unfortunately wouldnt be able to make it. A $40 credit towards a repair was offered but its certainly not worth me taking even more time off for a company that cant guarantee theyll show up.

This is a great company to use. They worked around my schedule as I work from home. The plumber communicated with us what he did and he was super professional. Unfortunately I did not get his name, but he was awesome. Also, a shoutout to Amber at the office. She is so kind. She called me letting me know when they were coming and answered my questions when I called in.

Myself and my neighbor split a duplex. We needed work the house. This company told us we needed things done that were not done. They charged us for that. The contract said half the money was required up front and the rest upon completion. We each paid $4,290.00 . They started May 5 leaving a balance of $1,000.00 left. Which was to be paid upon completion. They told us to pay before they would finish. They finished June 23. They dugout my dining room and filled it with dirt. They then charged to take the dirt out of the house. An extra $300.00 each. If you use this company beware!

I called Texas Green plumbing based on a personal referral from a good friend. I needed my house checked for a slab leak. They sent their representatives David and Adam and they arrived promptly, were well dressed and even put on the little shoe booties to keep from tracking any dirt into the house. I was very satisfied with the service they provided! They were very personable, yet professional and I can highly recommend Texas Green Plumbing!

I’d just like to say what a great guy roger is, I’ve been plumbing for about 2 years now and I watch a lot of different plumbers run their businesses and comparing the company that I work for and the company that roger runs we got a lot in common even though we’re states apart. If I had to give advice to someone looking for a plumber I’d highly recommend Texas green plumbing. We say the same thing to everyone we service, “no we aren’t the cheapest in town but we aren’t the most expensive, however we stand behind everything we do.” The pricing really is fair!

When our hot water went out and my wife demanded I have her shower fixed, Roger was there to save the day! Im very happy with their level of service; they arrived quickly, diagnosed the problem immediately, and made sure to explain everything in detail along the way. They provided me a digital receipt for my records (which I love) right away and were more than happy to answer any questions I had. I highly recommend them and plan on calling them for any future issues!

I have had multiple great experiences with Texas Green Plumbing. They surround talented plumbing with awesome customer service and follow ups.The most recent example was for a faucet install. They corrected some other faulty plumbing to do the job right the first time. Then, the part (that I picked out) failed and they came out to honor the warranty. Excellent all the way around!

I went on YouTube to see if I can get an understanding of why there could be water in my outside meter box and found a video by Mr. Roger. The City said it was my responsibility so I decided to call TGP the next day. Amber and Aaron were polite and professional. The leak was fixed just in time before all the rain we received this week. The cost seemed reasonable. Thank you so much.

We used Texas Green Plumbing to fix a water leak and replace a shower pan in our new home, and we have only positive feedback regarding the quality of their work, responsiveness, and overall kindness! The only reason we are giving a 4 instead of 5 star rating is because they recommended that my husband and I use Dallas Floor & Remodel for our shower renovations, with whom we had a less than satisfactory experience and gave a 1 star review.

We are soooooo thankful for this plumbing company! We had an emergency at our clinic and need someone right away. We called over 20 plumbing companies and no one could get to use until 5 plus hours! Texas Green Plumbing came out almost immediately. Ray was super friendly, and informative! We have them at the top of our list for any and everything now!!!!!

Shay came out and ran camera to determine problems with the sewer line on west side of house. He was very professional, informative and explained the problems we were experiencing thoroughly. I can now make an informed decision regarding needed upgrades in the future without being pressured. Great customer service all through the process! Roger, Amber, and Shay...thanks! Maybe its just me; I had a plugged sewer service line. They did a great job and the guys were great. I was calling around multiple plumbers trying to get someone out and asking each what the cost would be. With TGP I’m told $199 and I got a few quotes from other plumbers. I decided to go with TGP because they are literally a block from me and I called back the others and canceled and then called in to schedule my appointment to learn that its not $199 but $199 plus $99 service fee. They came back with a reduction so my total was $258. Didn’t appreciate not being told UPFRONT what my total cost was going to be. I felt like we were backed into a corner and had no choice at that point.

Texas Green Plumbing replaced many feet of cast iron pipe with PVC under my homes foundation. Aaron Legako and Cooper Burns are the best!! Aaron and Cooper were very professional in their visits and always explained what the next steps would be. Aaron would show me photos of what needed to be done under the foundation so I would always be informed.I highly recommend Texas Green Plumbing!!

Roger Wakefield is a professional, Bonded plumber. He and his company helped me with a leak in my condominium. He also spoke with my Homeowners association and Insurance Company to relate to them the cause of the leak.Repairs were done perfectly and quickly. Excellent service!

Terribly expensive - $330 an hour for labor! I had Texas Green come out after reading their reviews, to replace my kitchen sink. The plumber was here for 2.5 hours, and they charged $857. I supplied the sink, there were no new parts necessary. The service was fine, but $857 for 2.5 hours work in my opinion is highway robbery. Look around, dont just take all of these reviews at face value; know that there is a downside.

We recently used TGP for our bathroom remodel and from the time we contacted this team until the completion we experienced nothing but professionalism. Amber was great to work with in scheduling, pleasant with a can do attitude. The plumbers assigned to the task were Matthew and AJ, ,both were helpful in telling me what is happening and when. No project comes without opportunity and this project was no exception. The tub rough-in was especially difficult but this team never flinched, they worked together and with us to provide the solution. Roger Wakefield cares for the customer and that is demonstrated throughout the entire staff. Thank you TGP, and if you are looking to remodel or just need a plumbing service give these folks a try!

If i ever need anything plumbing wise done to my house again i will be returning to these guys. the plumber scheduled to come out in the morning got sick so the owner, Roger came out to fix things for us the night before. any plumber is a bit pricey but with these guys you get what you pay for! he got everything done in a matter of a few hours. the receptionist who answered the phone for me, Amber is such a sweetheart and makes sure everything went well for us before and after!

Amber was amazing and helpful setting me up, the Techs (Kyle & Josh) were very professional, and importantly the fees cost/labor were much more reasonable compared to others I have spoken to.Highly recommend!

I had 2 sinks with drainage problems in my new home. Upstairs bathroom sink just needed the seal reset. The kitchen sink had several leaks and they gave me several options for repairs at each point. They also figured out the drainage problem as being a grease clog. I have several fans set up to help deal with the smell, but now the sink drains and there are no more leaks!

Called Texas Green Plumbing - Aaron came out and walking me through what he saw. He did a shower pan leak test. He walked me through the options and helped me understand best next steps. Ill likely be calling them again!

Bad communication - We Never received a text nor call from the company, my husband could not understand what the receptionist said. She told him that they had been very busy on Friday. However, we had been waiting for the company to call back or come by Friday until today Monday, throughout the holiday and no end in sight. Yeah if you want a no call no show company this is it! This is exactly we have - bad experience!

This was our first call with TX Green Plumbing and were extremely happy with their service & knowledge! Dave took his time to explain what they were doing & why. Looks like weve found our new plumbers!

Bad communication - I told the secretary I prefer to be contacted through text. I Never received a text and the day they were supposed to come out they didn’t show up. I have been without plumbing now throughout the holiday and no end in sight. Yeah if you want a no call no show company this is it!

Texas Green Plumbing is a life saver! I would give 10 starts if it were an option!My wife and I called them to test a shower pan in a home we were purchasing to confirm a suspected leak. Later that day I received a call from Roger letting me know that when they found out the home in question was a potential purchase they ran a few extra test (that we did not know to ask for), thank God they did! By Roger and the team at Texas Green going the extra mile for us we were able to avoid a $20,000.00 repair that we would have been liable for as soon as we purchased the home. Because of their knowledge and step above the rest business model the leak was identified and the sellers made the repairs out of their pocket, not ours.Its not everyday your plumber MAKES YOU 20 THOUSAND DOLLARS!We are incredibly grateful for the work TGP did and highly recommend them for any plumbing needs!

Very responsive service , 3 stars because of the fact that Shay (and I think his colleague named Cooper) told me I needed the line replaced and it was quite a hefty price, I called out another plumber and was told the line didnt need replacing. And got it repaired at a much lower cost.

Awesome response time. I called them one morning due to a backed up shower drain causing that occurred the day we were scheduled to leave on vacation and they were able to get someone available within hours so we didn’t have to cancel our plans.

I have not used this company, but Roger makes fantastic youtube videos that show his high standards and professionalism. I recommend checking out his channel and seeing his level of work and even learning a thing or two that can help you.

These plumbers are very professional. They are nice and they are patient. We have used then several times in the past few years and they just located and repaired a major leak.

They did some work for us in the fall of last year and a mistake was made that caused a problem this year. When I called them to explain the problem, someone was out within 2 hours. They fixed the problem and did not charge me anything. They stand behind their service.
