Using Green Leaf Air was the best decision I ever made for my home.The sales process was friendly, professional, and personal. They did a great job evaluating my home, and made the best recommendations.Their pricing was more than fair, and they have the absolute best warranty in the market.I would absolutely use them again; and appreciate Rick, Debbie, and their installation crew for their service.

Found Green Leaf online while researching the Trane product that another company had advised. I was dumbfounded to discover Green Leaf Air offered the same equipment, installed for literally less than 1/2 the cost of my other quotes. I met with the same afternoon I contacted them. So this what I really appreciate about Rick and his sales method. He doesn’t really have one. He is very very knowledgeable and is going to give suggestions and recommendations. Having been through this process before one of the biggest selling points to me were “I can sell you that but here is why you don’t need it.” Who talks you out of an up sale. He does not keep you stupid. Everything we discussed he presented in a thoughtful, easy to understand way. I understood everything we were talking about and he explained everything I did not. I am more knowledgeable about my AC than when he arrived. I have enjoyed my experience so far. Install in 2 days. Will up date.UPDATE 6/27/233 man install crew. They arrived mid morning as agreed. All in company attire. Spoke to lead showed him access and locations. There was little down time as they got to it. Completed phase one of install as part the unit I am installing is on back order. Install to be completed upon delivery. Install crew was efficient with their time. Work areas were clean of debris and lights off when they finished. Good job. Will update at final install.

Just had my AC system installed buy Green Leaf Air a week ago, and wow! These guys are amazing. Like everyone here, I was shocked to discover that Green Leaf quoted prices that were in many cases, half of what other companies were quoting us. At first, I just thought Rick was making a mistake: He didnt understand the complexity of my situation, or they didnt include some important component, or something! Nope, Green Leaf pricing really is better than most anything out there.When it was time for the install, the guys showed up bright and early on a Saturday morning and went right to work. Within a few hours, they were done and had cleaned up after themselves. I did get a bit worried though, when after a few hours, the system wasnt cooling right. I texted Rick and he was on it! It was all hands on deck at our house trying to figure out what the issue was. Turned out, it was just an equipment issue, not an installation problem. By Sunday, they were out in force at our house and got the issue fixed. No excuses, no finger-pointing. Just prompt and polite service; the customer service by these guys is simply unmatched. From Rick who is so friendly and quick to respond, to the ladies in the office who are always available to help with questions. I cannot recommend Green Leaf Air enough.

I have been wanting to review a project like this for way to long, and I am excited and ashamed of myself it has taken this long to do so. I have always heard how expensive a complete rip and replace of an old A/C - Furnace System was. I live in McKinney TX and it can and will get both HOT (9 months of the year) and COLD (3 months of the year). My home was built in 1998 and I took ownership as the 2nd owner in 2006. Simple 2 story, 3,100 Sq. FT 4 BR (all upstairs) brick home. From the 1st day of ownership I noticed a little white fluffy floating armada from a Cotton Wood Tree behind my home in a neighbor’s yard zeroing in on my pair of units outside and the battle was on. The fight has been brutal, and I have lost 3 units, all have been the same upstairs machine. I have been limping by the last 2 summers with portable air conditioners in each bedroom and the time had come to fix my old and tired install. I over researched all the options available on the web (price, reviews, products & service) etc. until my head hurt. I asked a few to come out and Green Leaf Air was by far the only company that just felt right. From the consultant that came by to inspect my home, to the owner and project foreman who have OVER communicated throughout the entire process to the ladies in the office who have called and re-called to confirm dates and times along the way. I purchased 2 Carrier 4 Ton 16 Seer complete units. They were installed over 2 days to ensure we had air available to us always. Each install took about 8 hours, and the attention to detail by the crew ensuring carpet was covered and walls and doors looked the same when they left was appreciated. I am 100% satisfied with the final installation. Every appointment was kept and the arrival time for each appointment was meet or exceeded. I had my install completed about a week ago. I am very pleased with new a/c unit. First, the price was unbeatable almost 3000 cheaper than the quotes from other companies which made me somewhat skeptical. Not only was the quotes better so is the warranty and the things included in the install that they other companies said they would not replace. The total experience was too notch. If you are needing to replace you unit there is not need to look anywhere else Green Leaf Air is the right choice dont waste you time with anyone else. 5 stars easy.

Greenleaf AC did a wonderful job on our AC install. I have used another AC company in the past for a different unit install and I way overpaid for one unit. Greenleafs transparent pricing is a sigh of relief when one is shopping to replace AC units. Not only was I able to replace our broken unit, I was able to replace another older unit as well. Greenleaf still beat out the other companys price for one unit, and I was able to get two units and still saved money!The installation day was seamless and the team left my house clean of installation debris. We will be recommending Greenleaf to our friends in the future.

Just had a new 16 seer Trane System installed and the whole process was one of the best contractor experiences I have ever had. I called and left a message on Wednesday evening. I received a call back at 7:30 pm and an appointment was set for the next morning. I have two 4 ton units so I wasnt dying. Gonzala showed up and took a thorough look at my existing 15 year old system. We discussed options based on what I desired for an upstairs unit. I wanted a mid priced unit and a return duct installed in the theater room. He quoted me a system including the duct work. I had one other quote and received another one after he left. His price blew the others away and they quoted 14 seer. I felt like I must have a relative working at Green Leaf. It was very easy to make my decision. The next morning I was contacted by Stacey and told her I wanted to go with Green Leaf. In minutes a docusign contract was on my computer. I had more contact with Stacey than anyone and she is a real jewel to work with. She set everything up and followed up many times keeping me informed. The installers, headed up by David, arrived just as stated, 10 AM and they were all business. Put down drop cloths from the front door to the install area. The install took 6 hours start to finish.Buying an A/C System is not something you do everyday, so finding someone you trust becomes a big factor. I read there great reviews and that is why I called. The staff at Green Leaf is not only professional, they have a family feel. I will only need to call them when my other 4 ton unit crashes and at 15 years old, could be any day. If you need a new system or just a repair, you can feel comfortable with Green Leaf. I enjoyed my journey and I am sure you will to. I ended up with a top line unit at a mid price range. Felt they deserved my taking the time to share my experience.

Excellent service! Would recommend them to anyone requiring a new HVAC system.My old A/C (2.5 ton) was struggling to cool my home. Electric bill was getting out of control. I had several companies quote me for a full system replacement for ~16k. Green Leaf Air worked with me and saved me almost half the cost of everyone else. Rick Baker from Green Leaf Air was excellent to work with. He was honest and transparent when discussing cost. The installation team was amazing. Super friendly and explained the entire process. Once the work was completed, they did a walk through with me and made sure my home looked exactly how it was before. My home is finally cooling properly, and my electric bill has been cut by half.

I had my AC unit install completed about a week ago. I am very satisfied with new a/c unit. the price was cheaper than the quotes from other companies and they gave warranty with AC unit as well as labor. The total experience was good. Can’t say enough good things about Green Leaf Air! If you are looking for an AC unit replacement in DFW, you can stop looking and call Green Leaf. Seriously. They replaced two of our units last year, and just finished replacing a third unit for us this week. Calling them again this year was a no brainer! Polite, professional, timely, honest, great/best value (price + warranty), easy to get a hold of, etc. Worked with Rick and several people in their main office for each unit. They even installed a temporary fix on our third unit that needed to be replaced - at no cost to me - until they could come out for install after the holiday weekend! Amazing and unexpected, but very appreciated. Do yourself a favor and at least get a quote to try and win your business - you won’t be disappointed!!

I had Green Leaf Air install my complete AC/FURNACE end of July 2023 was 110 degrees outside.The unit brought my AIR TEMP INSIDE down to 65 degrees.Winter time 20degrees outside brought my temp up to 80 degrees.So i tested both extremes with new complete unit and has worked beautifully thru OCT>2024.Price was approx.$2000 less than everyone else.Service was great

Very happy with the service and price. Very friendly customer service. I got multiple quotes around town and this was by far the lowest especially for top I of the line.Update: after getting the new HVAC installed I noticed the house was still having trouble cooling down on the hottest days (so far). So I contacted Greenleaf Air and they responded immediately and came out to troubleshoot. Rick and David were incredible. Rick is so kind, personable, and you can tell he truly cares about the customer—which is so unusual I feel like these days. He and David combed through the house top to bottom to get a better idea of what was going on. Through the whole process they kept me in updated with estimates and photos of issues they found (with ducts, seals, condenser drainage issues, etc). In the end they quickly did multiple repairs at what I think was a very reasonable cost. For much LESS work another company had quoted me a much much higher cost! Now I just need to see how the system withstands the super hot days and I’ll report back. All in all, I feel like I’ve found a real gem of a company that has the trifecta of reasonable costs, quality work, and excellent customer service.

One perfectexample Is that before thefinal install was complete and no expectations of cold weather dropped to44 outside and 64 inside.After consulting with RickLandon and her husband drove into Dallas at 1145Pm to bring a heater of theirs so I could sleep comfortably. My first experience with Green Leaf Air was about 2 years ago when it became necessary to replace the largest of my 3 HVAC systems.I received several quotes that were were all over the place with costs, a very daunting experience to say the least!Rick visited my home and explained the industry to me with transparent pricing as opposed to “let’s make a deal” based upon what the salesperson thought they could get out of me.I have just replaced my other 2systems with Green Leaf Air and also referred two of my daughters and a best friend to them for HVAV replacement.I highly recommend this company!

Highly recommend Rick and his team at Green Leaf. We needed to replace one of our AC units so we had multiple companies give us quotes. Green Leaf was by far the best we got, even half of what some other companies told us. We ended up with a Trane AC and Rick gave us options and went over in detail the pros and cons of different models. The crew that came out to install were on time, very polite and professional. They are a great, honest company.

Dec 2024 Update-The Service is horrible (Check the ratings on BBB, Trustpilot, Manta, Tugo, Fyple, Yelp, etc.) and the city inspector failed the install (I also got charged for the service before the instillation). I am still awaiting for the correction, but not sure if Rick will send the new installer to fix the errors (The install was done in August 2021 and the technician was fired shortly after the install-I wonder why?). My System is not fully charged and green leaf air refuses to check the system and does not answer my calls. This has been reported to BBB and Trane.Make sure to do your homework and ask questions before choosing this installer.

Green Leaf Air was able to get a technician out in one day. Green Leaf Air provided multiple options. I have finally found an honest HVAC Company! We live in a 6,000 square foot home that is 30+ years old and have 4 HVAC units. We met with several HVAC companies.Rick and his team just replaced our first unit which was worn out with a new Trane system. The installation crew was excellent. Their price was by far and above the best and their were no hidden or sneaky fees once the job was done . What they quoted was exactly what we paid.

I am so pleased with everything about this HVAC installation. The installers were very good leaving the house and attic work area very clean . No performance issues to report. I only wish i had replaced those awful Lennox units much sooner.The 4 ton Trane downstairs is cooling so much better and the upstairs 3 ton unit with the variable fan speeds is far superior and cooling fast-its just great. They responded quickly to my quote request and ended up being $3 to $4k lower than my other quotes for significantly better equipment. Stacey was beyond helpful and helped me with all of my questions. She also helped me with my rebate forms and warranty registration. Mario and his crew were the best I have ever seen! They showed up early and were professional and ready to go. They too answered my questions ( I had a lot) and they were extremely friendly and helpful. Mario is a master and knows exactly what he is doing so the whole installation went smoothly. I had a small problem a few weeks after installation and Mario came back out and chased down the issue under warranty in an hour. I will recommend Green Leaf Air to anyone that will listen. I wish I had made contact with Green Leaf Air sooner in the RFQ process. I requested quotes beginning on Monday after being advised that repairs to my 23 year old HVAC coil unit would probably exceed the cost of a whole new HVAC system. I requested quotes from 5 area HVAC companies. While reviewing the 5 quotes and comparing HVAC brands, I came upon the Green Leaf Air website. I was shocked that the price for my preferred brand was listed on the Green Leaf website was $$Thousands below my best quote! I contacted Green Leaf on Thursday and was told they were booked up and would send someone out on Friday. 30 minutes later they called back and said my site estimate was moved up because of a schedule change. The Green Leaf estimator Rick gave us a quote that afternoon. We signed the documents online and our system was ordered on Friday and installed on Saturday. Everything regarding our HVAC replacement happened exactly as promised. The installers showed up on time, removed the old HVAC system and installed the new Trane HVAC system in a little over 4 hours. The installers were professional, polite and very clean. I would not hesitate to recommend Green Leaf Air to anyone. What a great experience and we love our new Trane HVAC system. We also are thankful for the extended Labor Warranty.

This review is a long time overdue. Green Leaf Air replaced out 5ton AC and Furnace in August 2022. Out old Carrier AC was on its last leg after 16 years and Green Leaf Air provided the best quote for a Trane 5ton unit out of the 4 companies we reached out to. They were very professional and the installers were very courteous and were very careful of our property. I would definitely recommend Green Leaf Air to anyone looking to replace their AC/Furnace.

We are extremely pleased with our experience. Very quick and very professional response to our needs. Maintenance crew was very descriptive and quite. They left our house and attic the same as it was before they came. Highly recommend. Wonderful service from every member of this company that had any part in my project. My air conditioning was replaced quickly and is now more efficient than ever before. The installation crew was professional, courteous. The MANAGER Ricky very knowledgeable he found issues with my return ducts, the other 5 company did not even see the issue after he left i called other companies to confirm if telling me true or not. They all agree with him and said they thought return ducts are big enough dont need to change but Ricky first thing he told me your return ducts are too small and need one more return duct. Our HVAC was due for replacement and after 17 years of devoted service gave up on a day at 100F heat. I found Green Leaf online and they confirmed the advertised price. Their manger, Rick Baker, came on the morning of the next day. Great guy, very knowledgeable, fair and transparent. He called in and provided us with two loaned portable units to supply some cool air till the installation next morning. The entire system was replaced next day and we had a new 5-ton Trane system up and running. A two-man team did everything in 5.5 hours. Very respectful and professional. Brought protection for our flooring, kept everything clean worked quiet, fast, efficient. Upon completion of the installation Mr. Baker personally inspected the quality of the work. I gladly recommend Green Leaf to anyone. Great company and service!

I found Green leaf online and bought a new 4 ton Trane system from them. Rick came out to my house to size unit and offered economical pricing. My AC was out and they managed to schedule me for a next day install. The installers did a great job caring for my hardwoods and making sure the unit had an airtight seal. (They informed me -previous installer didn’t do this and I was losing about 40% of my air in the attic.) I expressed concern I might have a leak in copper lines. They were helpful by showing me their pressure gauges showed no leaks. The online contract was a little confusing but overall it was nice to work with a company that wasn’t price gouging. I definitely feel the cool air reaching all my rooms now. Thanks!

Everything went great! and the new units (Trane 16seer heat pump).. are running great.Only thing... I emailed questions throughout process. But then Id have to call to notify them that I emailed. Seems they dont communicate via email. Which is fine. However... they sent the quote via email. so... thought it was strange they wouldnt answer an email. Again... great experience. 100% recommend.Rick explained everything perfectly.Hopefully my positive feedback will still true after my units are a few months old. currently installed 1wk ago today.

I wanted a Trane system and was quoted $12,000 and $12,500 by two quality companies for 3 ton units including furnace. I then got a quote from Rick and Green Leaf and it came in at $8,800 for same unit. Rick answered my questions knowledgably and I was confident. This was for a rental house and I live 200 miles away. I needed someone I could trust. Whole thing installed within 4 days of initial contact, I am happy and the renter is happy. We moved up to a 16 SEER for a little over $400 more than the 14 SEER. I enjoyed working with their office person who was a great cheerleader for the company. She has worked there maybe 15 years.

As a new customer of Green Leaf Air in the fall of 2022, I just wanted to write a review of my experiences getting a new HVAC system purchased and installed at my home in Houston. the price was by far the lowest for the 5 ton gas heat Trane AC unit installed out of the 4 bids I got. Thomas was the installer and this was by far the cleanest expert installation I have ever had out of 3 new AC/Heat Ive had at homes Ive owned. You can tell he has a lot of experience and everyone at the company was pleasant and very helpful throughout the process. Debbie, Rick and Thomas were extremely accommodating on my installation date and did an amazing job. 5 Star recommendation from me!

They have done an absolutely wonderful job fixing the A/C System at my home in Plano TX!I’ve been using Green Leaf Air for several years now, and this time I needed the “whopper service”! I knew it was coming, but postponed it as much as possible.After calling them, they dispatched a technician to my home, very quickly inspected, temporarily fixed the A/C system in the middle of a heat wave in Dallas before weekend started (of course…!), and scheduled the bigger repairs at a later date. Greenleaf did my HVAC installation of 2 units.What I liked about them was all their prices were available upfront in their website and they stick with it. Rick gave the estimate and he was reachable always for any query. They scheduled my installation at the earliest date possible. 4 crew members showed up on date of installation and they did a clean job.Good work Green leaf and I would highly recommend green leaf for any HVAC work.

Green Leaf Air did an outstanding job with the installation of our new 5 ton 16 seer Trane Heat Pump. The two installers were professional and the install looks great. They took the time to walk me through the new unit and the new thermostat. I obtained three different quotes, all three were much higher for the same unit. My friend used Green Leaf Air a couple of years ago to replace an AC unit in the house he just bought. He hasnt had any issues and was really happy with his purchase. Thus, when I needed to replace both of my 20 year old AC units at my home, he recommended that I reach out to Rick to get a quote.Ive contacted several companies and Green Leaf Air was BY FAR THE LOWEST COST. In fact I was able to replace 2 units at my house and 1 at my rental house for the same price as 1 new unit for my primary home quoted by the other guys.Im taking the time to write this review and tell you it is safe to use Green Leaf Air. They are a legitimate installation service and the money you save is worth it. I figure that I saved $15,000 by going with Green Leaf Air. (In my mind having $15,000 of savings means that even if I run in to issues in 5-10 years, I am STILL WAY AHEAD)The other places I called took a look around at my home and tried to quote me as much as they could based on what they saw and blamed high prices on supply issues, CHINA, Covid and inflation. Thankfully Rick did not do that, but quoted me on what I needed. I went with TRANE which is a great/high quality manufacturer with stellar reviews.Rick suggested I go with a 16 SEER vs anything more efficient because I would never recoup the added cost in electric savings. He went on to explain to me that in Texas when it is 100+ degrees all summer, there is no value in having a variable speed, as it is either fully on or off. Thus I would not get ANY benefit of having a variable speed system 8+ months of the year (Really hot or really Cold)He also explained to me that although all the various sizes of the systems are the same price, I shouldnt try to get a higher tonnage than what I need because we have a lot of humidity in Texas and if the bigger system ran less, it would feel hotter because the AC wouldnt be able to remove that excess humidity. (Also it would be really loud - see below)And finally, after replacing the 20 year old units, my wife and son told me that first night the AC upstairs was blowing too hard and making a whistling noise. I told them that the I really didnt hear anything and that the new unit must be working more efficiently than the old worn out unit, but that I would ask Rick for his advice. I called him the morning after installation and told him about the high pressure coming out of the vents, and he said he would be over by the end of the day. He came by and agreed he heard the whistling noise. I was worried he was going to blow it off (pun intended), but he got up in the attic and noticed that the AC handler was qualified to be a 2.5 ton or a 3 ton unit and was able to adjust it to a 2.5 ton which is what my original equipment was rated as. Before you say the installers should have caught the noise and adjusted in the first place, I say that it was more of a customer preference as the noise was only noticeable in the smallest of registers in the guest room. I bring this up to point out that Rick dropped what he was doing and came to help me to make sure I was happy with the installation. (I had fully already paid the bill btw)If you are still reading this review... I say to you, you can trust Ricks word and replace your unit(s) with Green Leaf Air, as they are a reputable company and you need not be suspicious. I now have an AC company I can trust! Ive already referred them to my neighbor and he replaced two of his units as well!

I have been a customer of Green Leaf Air for years. They have replaced two AC units for me, and cleaned the air ducts at my home, and done AC repair work for my elderly mother. We were recommended to Green Leaf by a friend who had a new Trane HVAC home system installed. Replaced old HVAC system with new Trane XR15 A/C with variable speed blower XV80 furnace. I had done some initial research but Rick pointed me in a different direction and I am very grateful he did. This is a much better choice than the more expensive solution I was looking at. The installation team did an excellent job installing everything and went out of their way to test everything and make sure it was working within specs before finishing. This was a great company to do business with, they had the best price, excellent recommendations, and perfect installation.

Green Leaf Air is a first class company. I had an air conditioning and heating system replacement. My Trane XR13 system after 15 years needed replacement. They installed a new Trane XR14 system with great efficiency. Manager Rick Baker did the initial estimate at my residence and provided me with the best of all estimates out of several companies. The entire replacement was completed in just a couple of hours. Very prompt and efficient service. Great Technicians. System is running great. I hope the XR14 runs 15 years also. Will use them for the next installation.

I was remarkably impressed with the price and service that I received from Greenleaf air to remove my old heating and air conditioning units and installed new Trane 16 Seer units. If life can do over I wish I never use Green Leaf air as my service company. I purchased a new system with them and not even a year my AC was broken. Since June 9, 2022 I have been without air except for a week, they kept telling me the First Company who makes the unit dont have in stocks and they cant find any replacement for me. Their suggestion to me is go buy a window unit until who knows when the backorder will be in. Could be a day, a week , a month or a year. How can anybody trust this company is beyond me.

Green Leaf was a great experience for us. Our unit was begining to give us problems and we took bids to have the entire unit replaced. Green Leaf was not the cheapest but we selected them because of their complete transparency with parts, pricing and length of install. They were about $250.00 higher than the cheapest but the way Rick came out and carried himself was what swayed our decision. On the day David and his crew came out to do the install I knew we made a good choice. David and his team came in with their masks on and their drop cloths ready. They wore their masks all day and never once made any comments about them. As with any project there is always a glitch that tries to create havoc. This project was no different. What was different was the way David and his crew jumped in and turned a glitch into a great opportunity. They were awesome and I would recommend Green Leaf to all my friends , family and the general public. David and his crew did everything with such deliberate care, I was soo very pleased with them. We first used Green Leaf at our residence to replace two units. I recently called them for a mini split unit at the office that was not working. The technician Francisco was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He found the issue rather quickly. It was a simple fix and Green Leaf decided not to charge us for the visit. I appreciate the knowledge of the techs and the customer service of the company.

Greenleaf was good in installing my AC unit. The price was reasonable and they were professional, they came on time. Towards the end I felt like the installers were bit frustrated when I asking on how the thermostat works. Which is understandable as they were working all day to install.

I needed something quickly, but to my surprise found that it was almost like buying a car. I got four estimates, 3 were around the same price, but Green Leaf Air was much cheaper. This was a red flag at first because I was skeptical that I would get a good installation and get everything I was promised. The unit was installed in 6 hours the next day. The crew with Rick, Juan ,and Carlos were awesome. They were right on time, they worked quietly, neatly, and the job looks fantastic. Also, I got a 16 seer unit whereas the others were offering a 14 seer. The warranty equaled the other higher bids.. It has only been two days, but the unit runs quietly and runs half as much as my old unit. I wish I had done this a few years ago. I feel so lucky that I found Green Leaf Air. I feel like I robbed a bank or something. I have only written a couple of other reviews in my life, but I feel so strongly about this experience that I wanted to share it. I would recommend Rick and this company to anyone needed an HVAC system.

Ive worked with Green Leaf Air since 2018.1. PLEASE STOP selling Trane - the product is garbage. The company is garbage. Customer service/ relations is a joke. I purchased a new Trane unit, summer of 2018. It is currently on the 4th compressor. My $5900 unit has now cost me over $10K in less than 5 years. Based on more research - looks like this issue is widespread.2. The company is very accessible and does return calls.3. The company will charge you prior to services being completed, threatening not to complete a job until the invoice is paid. I find this to be very unprofessional.

Greenleaf was the most transparent and honest HVAC company I have done business with in the DFW metro. They don’t push you into getting a system larger than your needs. Replaced a 20 year old system for a brand new one. I asked a million questions and really learned from Rick. Highly recommended.

My new HVAC system was just installed today, so I am not reviewing based on long-term experience, but so far I am happy with Greenleaf- particularly regarding cost. Price for a 3 ton 14 SEER Ameristar gas furnace and a/c installed was $3700 (including tax). I realize this is not a premium brand, however it is owned/manufactured by the same company which mfcs Trane and I am comfortable with it based on my research. Another local company quoted me $8,000 (!) for a system replacement with a Carrier unit, even with higher-tier equipment that is an outrageous price. In addition, the Greenleaf installers arrived within the promised time frame, worked efficiently, and had the entire project done in three hours. They cleaned up afterwards and everything looks great. I am grateful to have my 20+ year old system replaced at an affordable price.

Worst experience, worst installation quality!In February 2019, we purchased and installed two new Carrier AC/Furnace from Green Leaf Air. After the installation, I hadnt been to the attic for a while. Then someday I climbed up to the attic, and found one units front panel dropped to floor because the two plastic clip that holded the panel in place broke, and also found the right lower corner of the unit was damaged. I called green leaf and they sent a service guy. They refused to admit it was their fault, and blamed me for the broken clip, which resulted in unpleasant argue with their customer service. Finally, they agreed to send me two new clips. NOW nearly two years passed, I have NEVER received the new clips.This is NOT the worst because the broken clips only affected front panel and I was able to duct tape to hole the panel in place. Last week, with high 90s in Houston, there was no cold air coming out of the two A/C units. A service professional came and checked up, and fixed the AC units. Here is what he found:1. Both units have low refrigerant charge level LOW, and at the same LOW level. If there was a leakage, what is chances that two pretty new units have the same LOW refrigerant level? The only plausible explanation is that BOTH units have LOW refrigerant level since INSTALLATION.2. Because of low refrigerant level since installation, the AC had been stressing itself to cool down the house, which resulted in a broken fan motor in just 2.5 years. Because the downstairs unit broken, the upstairs unit stressed the cool the whole house which resulted in a lot of water and triggered the protection sensor due to clogged drainage pipe.3. Final solution: replaced fan motor on the downstairs unit; cleaned drainage pipe, and what is more, refill the refrigerant level to required LEVEL. Now both units works.4. I was informed that since low refrigerant level from installation, the compressor me have been damaged, and we did hear once loud noise from the downstairs unit. I dont know how long the compressor would work, and hope no damage to evaporators.This is my first time to write a review. There were some unpleasant situation before either on purchase or service, and I was too lazy to write reviews. But this time, I cant help myself to express my disappointment towards Green Leaf. We trust their professionalism, and bring us high quality product and service. They betrayed our trust.WORST experience!

Our new 5 Ton Trane AC was installed by them this week. They were very professional with the work and quoted us very reasonably. To be honest, the other two contractors we consulted were not even close to what we paid for this install. We are happy with the decision we made.

Locked in pricing in July for replacement of 5 Ton unit, got cancelled due to shortage, which is understandable. Six months later, keep requesting update and get we are working on it.Side note - had installers show up in error and none of them were licensed HVAC techs, just 3 guys and a rented uhaul with equipment.Glad it didnt workout, I dodged a headache by not having them execute the work. YMMV.

We have used Green Leaf Air for our maintenance as well as installing a new unit in our office. They have been very prompt and efficient, up front in pricing (accurate estimates!) and made it easy. Love doing business with them.

I checked prices with about 5 other installers and their price came in $2K lower than everyone and included replacing they plenum supply, copper line set, and filter base. Quotes from other installers didnt include all of this and they were still higher! Install was done in about 3 hours (much shorter than the initial time estimate). They didnt leave a mess and cleaned up inside when they were done. Great experience!

Our AC unit died in the heat of summer and I shopped around to get quotes. After getting four different quotes from a/c companies in the metroplex, Green Leaf Air blew them all out of the water. They provided us with the right unit for our home with a larger seer rating for a cheaper price than the other companies quoted. The installers were scheduled on a Saturday and were late for their install time. We figured they were helping another customer but Green Leaf Air called and informed us that when the installers arrived at Trane to pick up the A/C unit, Trane was closed for the holiday. They had a Rep from Trane come open up and give them the A/C unit so they could install it as promised. Once they arrived the installers were professional and fast. Our old unit was so old they had to make modifications for the new one to fit. Several hours later we had cold air again. Thank you Green Leaf Air! You went above and beyond in service and professionalism.

We moved to TX about two years ago. We found greenleaf air to be most honest and competitive company for installing two new air conditioning units. We installed two units with them.Unfortunately, we had a dead condneser unit this week, a little bit after a year it was purchased from them.Greenleaf team worked with the vendor and covered the condesor under Warrennty and changed it with a brand new one.We did have to pay for thr labor, but it was a reasonable amount. They registered the new unit the same day and got everything done in a very professional manners. I recommend them to family and friends, they are also happy with them.

As summer is right around the corner, we decided to replace our old HVAC system. We checked prices with 3 other contractors, and Green Leaf Air came in $1K lower than everyone. It is a new 4 Ton 16 seer Trane HVAC system including compressor, coil, and furnace.The whole team is excellent. Stacey is very nice, friendly, and professional. She communicated with the installer and always kept me informed. Arron, who is the installer, is very responsible and professional. When they came to install the HVAC, there is another team installing the sprinkler system for me. It was a mess and difficult for Arron to install the compressor as both the front and back yards were dug everywhere. But they cut part of the fence, moved the 4 Ton compressor to my back yard, and installed the fence back later. The whole process was one of the best contractor experiences I have ever had. Competitively priced for value received. A two-man team removed the old unit and installed the new unit in just 5.5 hours. They even broke-down the furnace casing and return air box so it would fit in the narrow attic opening. Took care to protect flooring. Very clean installation and re-hung supply lines.If you are replacing an older unit, your circuit breaker may be oversized for the condenser. I had to find a 40 amp breaker to replace a 60 amp breaker, however there are some dealers of outdated breakers available.

Rick was a very professional HVAC guy and worked us in over his busy weekend schedule. He was very up front about pricing, timelines, and kept us informed with EVERY decision that needed to be made. On July 25, 2019 I had two double stage Trane AC units installed by Greenleaf Air Energy. Prior to the install, Mngr Rick recommended adding an air intake for my second floor unit, and it would cost me $800. So I went ahead and did it myself before the scheduled install. 3 days after the install , the office assistant called and left a voicemail saying I have a standing balance of $500 for the air intake vent that the crew built during the install. I was shocked and mad. The crew actually made a whole in my ceiling as one of the guys slipped in the attic. They did repair the damage, but I didnt anticipate the company to try to play me and twist the facts to charge me for this. Luckily I took a video of myself doing the air intake, otherwise there wouldnt be anything to prove it. I put a negative review online, Rick called, apologized and Issue was resolved. Few weeks later, my upstairs unit stopped working, and saw on my Nest No power to the Rc wire. Greenleaf sent a technician who tried to blame it on the thermostat. I called Nest, and after running tests they said that my AC has a wrong wire hook up and it caused the thermostat to give out. When I told Rick, he said the unit was brand new and installed by a PROFESSIONAL installer and they would not pay to replace my Nest thermostat. Out of my luck while trying to mitigate the issue to restore my AC upstairs in the brutal heat of the Texas summer, I had no choice but to go ahead and buy another one - thats $200. Well Greenleaf sent a technician to install it. Mysteriously a day after I got the same error, which tells me the thermostat wasnt the problem. Greenleaf kept sending people, and then they called Trane to speak with the engineers that built this unit to help solve the puzzle. Trane suggested changing the blower on this BRAND NEW unit. This Didnt make sense to me, but Rick kept giving me false reassurances that Trane built this unit and they knew that this would solve the problem. I was like, as long as you get my unit running, I didnt care at this point. It took about 2 weeks to get the blower, because apparently Trane sent it to the wrong address the first time. After changing the blower, the issue persisted, so now Trane said we need to change the circuit board. After changing it, the problem disgracefully persisted. Im like wth is going on? Even the AC maker cant solve this issue?? In the meantime, they were changing transformers everytime they came out due to the power overload. During this time, I had to take off from work and use valuable Vacation time, every time they needed to come and this was more than 7 times within 2 summers. The last guy that came in May 2020, went and checked the connection in my compressor, and found that the SMART PROFESSIONAL installer mistakenly switched the wires of the First and Second stages which was causing the unit to overload and trip the circuit. There was a mixed feeling of regret on choosing this company with relief that my nightmare ended. Well, this summer I had AGAIN the same error msg on my thermostat of the same unit. Unluckily, my warranty with Greenleaf had already expired. So I called another local company to check my unit. The technician was surprised when he found 1- Greenleaf left an old BAD transformer partially hooked up inside my unit. 2- There is a pan overflow sensor that one of the technicians must have disconnected during the prior visits, and left the wires hanging not connected. No rationale for this? 3- He found that my drain pipe overflow sensor had water, and this was tripping the circuit as intended, because there was a clog down in my drain. If Greenleaf would have done the right thing during the install, to flush the drain lines to ensure patency for the new units, I would not have gone through this premature expense within the course of two years. Its a shame that after making a big investment you find that there was poor quality work and I feel a sense of loss for choosing the wrong company.

I am struggling with the 5-star rating people gave to Greenleaf Air. My experience with GreenLeaf Air was at best 2 star. Greenleaf Air recently installed a brand new 2-stage 17 SEER Trane XR17 HVAC System in my house is Houston. The ordering process went relatively easy until the systems installed. The installer using hammer to bang on the unit when the door of the furnace didn’t close correctly making a dent on it. The condenser outside has a big dent on the bottom as he damaged it when transport to the back of the house. Greenleaf Air didn’t replace the old pad despite the quote stated that a new pad will be installed. Since we installed a 2-stage systems, I asked follow-up questions to ensure that we take advantage of this feature of the new unit. The questions were posed repeatedly via email and no an answer has been received so far after 3 weeks waiting. Buyer beware.Updated on June 4.Green Leaf Air contacted me to remedy the situation and I am truly appreciated their attempt to fix the issue. They will arrange to send a technician out to the house next week to ensure everything work to our expectations. Once, the job is completed, I will report out on the outcomes and hope to revise the rating accordingly.Updated on June 11.No response from Greenleaf Air as of today. I am running out of patient waiting for Greenleaf to follow-up with their promises.

My experience was outstanding, in my two years of getting quotes just in case I needed to replace my 18 yr unit, they were the lowest. I never heard of them until this year, but there reviews were great. I spent about $700 in repairs on my old unit and wanted to be proactive in my replacement of a new unit. The owner answered all 20 plus questions that I asked him. I work with HVAC technicians and utalized them in the process. The warranty was outstanding and the workmanship was outstanding. As an avid DIY and price and quality seeker, this company price and product aligned. I did not need to replace my old unit which made this decision very difficult, but short term and long term it was the prudent situation. I replaced a trane system with a carrier comfort heat pump 4 ton 15seer. House is a lot cooler than ever before, time alone will tell if the unit holds up and if the warranty experience is positive. Will update this review in the future .

The appointment was on time, the estimate was fair and installation was fast and clean. I like the system and working great. I will definitely consider them if my other system breaks.

So, as far as I can tell from the reviews, this install seems to be the exception. This install took place around 4-23-2020. This was done for the previous owner of the home I now own. Green Leaf did a very poor job on the installation of this heat pump. No insulation on the primary drain line. No functioning heat strips. No disconnect on the evap. No strain relief on the line feeding the evap. Lots of water in the pan. Missing and dilapidated insulation at the condenser. Condenser was hooked up to a breaker that was 25% too large according to the manufacturer of the new unit. All of these issues were brought up during the home inspection in August(when I was buying the home). The previous owner contacted Green Leaf and Green Leaf sent out a tech who added enough insulation to the primary drain line to get it under the attic decking, installed heat strips that were never provided during the initial install and added a strain relief to the cord. Jump ahead to after the purchase of the home has gone through and I begin trading emails with Green Leaf about completing a quality installation. I send pictures of everything and after a fair amount of back and forth I am told that aside from adding the insulation to the condenser, everything else is out of the scope of work. As a gesture, they also said they would try to shim the drain pan so that it might drain correctly. I assumed something must be getting lost in translation through emails so I ask to speak with someone at the office. I am told the supervisor would call me and he did. We spoke and he told me that things like the oversized breaker and lack of disconnect(both of which are outside code) were pre-existing conditions and it was not their responsibility to bring them up to code. I mentioned that the heat strips were never even installed in the first place. He told me that there was a 6-8 week back order on the strips due to covid and they wanted to get peoples AC fixed. That seems like a great idea aside from over 4 months went by and they never came back to install the heat strips until the previous owner called them on it. I hate to say it, but to me, this install feels like they were trying to take advantage of an elderly lady who would never climb into an attic to check their work and who may not have ever seen this job for the shoddy work it was. I will not use this company and strongly urge you to check all their work and your scope of work carefully. It seems the assumption of a safe and code compliant install in outside of their practices.

When I called duct cleaning, they were able to come out the next day. They were unable to clean the ducts, due to the condition of them, and the fact that that they had mold in them. They were able to come out the very next day to replace all the ductwork in 8 hours! Everything went so smooth. Technicnicians were all very professional and kept everything clean. They will be here on Monday to to sanitize everything. I would highly recommend this company for any work you need done.
