Highly recommend One Hour. Nathan saved me from having to buy a control board that a separate A/C company told me needed to be replaced. Nathan found what was actually wrong with my Gas Furnace and immediately fixed my issue. He even went above and beyond by checking my flue piping for any leaks. Very good service. Yesterday Clayton diagnosed that one of the heat strips was not coming on and the other needed replacing also. Clayton ordered the parts to complete the repair.Today Nathan came to our house with the parts and installed them and now we have heat in the house. Very happy with the team that was sent out to install my new air conditioning system. They made sure they covered the floors and anything else that was in the area that they were working. They worked nonstop for about 10 hours and never even took a break. They left my house in the same condition it was before they arrived. Very professional service.

The technician who came to my home completed a quality assurance check on an installation that occurred 4 months prior. Great experience as he gave a detailed inspection of the equipment. He literally tested everything and was very detailed ensuring functionality, temperatures and pressures were within parameter. I was pleased that the company did this. Other companies would install and never be seen again. This is a company who stands behind their work and ensures satisfaction. IMPRESSIVE!!!

I knew the AC Repairman Experience was going to be different from my first conversation with Nathan. He was sitting inside his truck for a few minutes, so I went outside to greet him. He rolled his window down to chat. He was both polite and professional as he said, I will come in after I review the history of the unit and take a safety pause. With 100F ambient conditions, he is every business owner and customers dream.Our Carrier Infinity unit is a couple years old and as it turned out the units communication issue took some effort. He diagnosed by the numbers and stayed with it, called for technical support as needed. Compliments to One Hour for training their men to follow a process and to Nathan for following it.Additionally, the dispatching team also performed well. I called their office on one of the hottest afternoons of the year to schedule a service call hoping for a next day service. The 1st team took the data. The second team, Cindy, called me back after 20 minutes to verify the home is occupied (determine urgency) and stayed with it calling me back 15 minutes later to tell me we would be serviced that day. Nathan showed a couple hours later.I am very impressed with this team and will continue to use One Hour Air conditioning-Portland Texas as our AC unit service provided.

Isaac was my technician and he did a great job, going beyond what I expected. He represented the company very well. He got a dripping line fixed and didn’t charge me (he said it was included in the regular checkup).

Brad was all about doing a great job and keeping us happy with the install of the AC units. He came out for the install and the next day to finalize the install and to make sure everything was working properly. I can’t say enough good things about Brad!

I posted a 5 star review 7 months ago which is listed below. Unfortunately I guess it depends on who/what you get. I called last night letting them know my Airbnb guest home/guests were not cooling. They initially said they’d have someone out within an hour at 8 pm. They called back to change the status to midnight or 8 am the next morning. I specified numerous times how essential timing was as Airbnb guests are staying and it was not cooling. They identified a bad part @ 9 o’clock this morning and I have now been waiting since then and called numerous times for an update on if they have the part and will be back to change it. Now they are saying their warehouse has closed and they cannot tell us if they have the part until tomorrow. The part that they identified at 9 this morning was bad. So now my guests will have to wait another overnight without the system cooling. Completely unacceptable and will never use this service again. One hour, plus 24, plus 24 is more like it.Yesterday I came to my Airbnb (as the owner) the evening before a stay to check on it and prep for the cleaning crew. The bottom floor was not cooling. One hour had Richard out quickly, he was professional and expedient in identifying the problem. It was after business hours so they could not verify the part availability until the following day. I called at 8 the next morning and by 9 they’d returned my call and had technicians on site by 10:15. I had expressed to both the technician and the phone personnel how essential it was for me to cancel the reservation as early as possible were they not able to repair it in time, and every single person I spoke with at the company from the 2 new technicians today, one of which was Brad to the extremely helpful phone staff knew my situation and was eager to help. I will definitely keep this company as my permanent HVAC go to. They helped a stressful situation go as easy as it possibly could. I regret not getting everyone’s names and being able to commend them individually. If I could give 6 stars, I would.

Michael was obviously very knowledgeable up to the very detail of his work. My husband always wanting to learn anything kept asking him technical questions and Michael answered generously. We learned more info in such a short time than what we have researched in google for several days trying to save by fixing ourselves. We replaced contractor and capacitor and all it needed was a little over half a pound of Freon!!! They don’t tell you that a half pound of Freon makes the system go bunkers!So yeah he was definitely worth it! Fixed it and we learned a lot. Ask for Michael Dorris specifically, he’s very helpful. 👍👍👍

I wasn’t present for maintenance but the technician texted to let me know when he was at our place and let us know when he was finished. He emailed his notes and invoice which was $0 because we purchased the maintenance package. Easy peasy!

I have 2 AC units for my house. They checked both and cleaned out leaves from outside units, and checked the vents inside for air flow and temperature. Were very courteous and explained everything they were doing.

*Edit*This initial review still stands.. however... they came on Sunday, by Tuesday it quit working again. Tried calling several times and it went to voicemail each time. Left messages, no return calls. Tried to message Manny back from the number he messaged us on stating we needed help, no answer from him either. They got their $500 and couldnt be bothered to come back to help when initial fix didnt hold. Had to wait for ANOTHER company to show up Thursday. I am truly disappointed.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Manuel was very friendly and professional. He explained the issue in detail and was able to get the AC running quickly. So appreciative of the quick response to get here and how quick he was able to get the issue resolved.

Had our routine check for the a/c today..guy was running behind..so they asked if it’s still ok to come..said yes.. it was still ok for him to show up..when he finally got her about an hr to hr and a half later …he worked on getting the task done..even tho I could tell he was in pain..had a tooth ache ..but he still stayed and finished what he needed to do..was here almost 4 hrs..he did an amazing job..very very satisfied with everything he did..thank you Manuel Lopez

I originally went with this company because they have a lot of great reviews but I unfortunately didn’t have a great experience with them. The tech was very pushy about expensive repairs that were not requested and about requesting full payment upfront. Additionally, we told them immediately that we were on a time limit because we were selling our house and it took 3 days to get a hold them to schedule the repair after the initial consult. Every time we called they would say “oh someone will reach out to you soon” and no one ever called. They would not commit to having the work done by a certain date. The whole process felt very much like everything was on whatever time was best for them and like they were pushing for unnecessary repairs (in the thousands) that are just not affordable for everyone. I am giving 2 stars only because they did complete the repair. If you are needing a repair done by a within a certain time frame, I would go with a different company.

I had to replace my entire hvac system and bring some things up to code since my old Unit was 39 years old. This task seemed daunting and overwhelming as I knew it would be expensive but I wanted it done correctly. Mr. Jimenez spent about 3 hours assessing the needs of my home and explained everything so I felt comfortable. The crew was amazing! So professional and nice- even though they were stuck up in a hot attic for hours, i never heard a complaint. I absolutely believe I made the right decision with one hour. Thanks guys!

Nathan is very professional in anppea and very well mannered. He is also very sharp as he had the problem diagnosed in a couple of minutes. Repair was fairly quick. This was a good experience as one Hour Air provided great value.

The Technician (Michael) was great! He was knowledgeable and professional. He found the issue (a broken wire) on my outside AC unit within minutes. He put a new connector on the wire, reconnected them and, voila, issue fixed! All systems are go and my AC system is working normally once again. Thank you Michael!

Brad was very courteous, him and his partner came and replaced my plenum and sealed up any leaks through the whole system in a promt manner!

Great service, explained everything in detail. Pleasant personality, seemed to have great knowledge of the air conditioner he was servicing.

Beware of “flat fee” prices. Companies don’t have that kind of pricing unless they are grossly inflated in favor. Their diagnostic said short in wiring. Flat fee $875. Took tech 20 minutes and 15 feet of low voltage wire. Said unit was fixed. It wasn’t, technician said bad fan motor , flat fee$875. Fan motor online $250 retail. They installed THEIR$875 fan motor, said unit fixed. Still doesn’t cool. Said 0 Freon. Flat fee to look for leak. Flat fee $500. Service manager agreed to check for leak and fix leak add Freon. No charge and refund $875 for fan motor if they couldn’t fix. Tech couldn’t fix leak, one hour refused to honor agreement and refuses to refund $875.BEWARE

Isaac did an amazing job. He quickly identified the issue and got the part ordered that we needed. He did a temporary fix for the issue that kept us cool until the part arrived, and then he came back and completed the repair. He was very polite, courteous, and knowledgeable in his explanation to us.

My technician was super friendly and professional, but he said he couldnt clear my condensate drain line. I paid $89 for a we cant do it. Another HVAC company came out the next day, inspected it, and cleared it in 15 minutes.

Manny is very knowledgeable of AC problems. He rescued my AC system which is old and was leaking. Mr. Isaac Leal was professional and knowledgeable, he was able to find the problem with my unit, but unable to repair it due to me having a newer model mini split that carries A2L R32 refrigerant so they dont shave what is needed to check for leaks or recharge units. Nothing against the technician he did great, but the companies themselves need to upgrade and start carrying what is needed for all customers.

Outstanding service! Had an emergency and needed to go out of town but did not want to leave without having my AC unit checked out. They were understanding and helped me tremendously! ONE HOUR AC AND HEATING IS THE WAY TO GO!

Nathan is a life-saver! After struggling with my A/C for weeks and unable to resolve with other contractors, One Hour Air Conditioning answered my call at 9pm and sent out Nathan first thing the following morning. He took his time to diagnostic all issues and was able to fix all of the problems within a couple of hours. He had all parts needed on his truck, made the repairs, got me running properly, and all at a reasonable price. I have found my new HVAC company in Corpus Christi!!!

One Hour Air Conditioning and Heating is Fantastic! Our HVAC froze up and as soon as we contacted them, they put on standby,so that they could work us in today. The technician they sent out was Nathan Dorris, he was extremely polite and listened to all the information I had about what we had already done and what exactly the unit was doing. He went up into the attic and listened to the unit and was immediately able to tell us what was going on. He opened it to confirm and we will soon be nice and comfortable in our home again.

Excellent service David did a very thorough job installing the heat kit in our new HVAC. When it was installed during the summer, they had neglected to put in the heat kit. We had not needed the heater until yesterday when it finally got cold enough. We had no heat fortunately one hour was able to get a technician out last night who immediately diagnosed the problem. David was able to install the kit and get our heat going in less than an hour.No problems and a very respectful and courteous technician.

The only reason for 4 stars is communication. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The tech was awesome and knowledgeable. The overall service provided was quality. However, communication regarding our service appointment was vague and lacking. We ended up waiting all day with lackluster updates. They are understaffed and I understand. Just providing feedback on a minor improvement to an already great service.

Nathan Dorris was fantastic. A very knowledgeable and respectfully soft spoken young man. He came in and went right to work on a problematic system that others before him struggled with. He got the job done quickly and efficiently and the system sounded and seems to be operating far better than when installed new 1.5 years ago. Im hoping we get Nathan for any future issues if necessary.
