Ive been a customer for about 3 years now. So far Im very happy with them. Theyre about average on price. I could find cheaper but Samms is very professional and does really good work. The sales rep I worked with recently to get a repair quote from made it very clear what things were optional, recommended, important, etc and I didnt feel like he was trying to upsell me on anything. The repair crew who just left did an excellent job, explained everything they were doing, and seemed very thorough. No complaints.
Amy set me up with Jordan to replace a failed cooling coil and replace a duct board plenum with a high-quality metal plenum with dampers. Less than 3-days after my initial call, the work was done, and the end result looks like a professional commercial grade installation rather than a residential one. As a construction manager, I recognize quality work and can therefore recommend SAMMS to anyone looking for quality work at a competitive price.

The group that handled the planning and install of a completeSeer 17 system - ac, heater and all new ductwork in my personal home was exceptional!They handled all communication in a timely and very completemanner, kept me informed as work progressed, worked hardand very long until the job was complete. Ill rate them 3 stars because they were all very nice and they took good care of my father when he needed some work done.They are missing stars because I didnt find it a reasonable solution to spend $4k+ for a compressor with a 1yr warranty. I found a different local provider who installed a full condenser unit with a 10 year warranty for $4k. (the compressor is part of a condenser unit). So, maybe call them only during the cooler temps of the year.

The tech came to fix our filter that wasn’t functioning. The filter door was damaged on a previous maintenance call a couple of years ago. The problem is there is not a proper electrical connection if not closed in a certain way.On this trip, he fixed the problem promptly and the filter is again functioning.Did a great job but wish Samm’s had replaced when it was originally damaged.

I called Samm’s because I had water dripping from my bathroom ceiling (HVAC unit is above the bathroom). They gave me notice they were on the way, showed up on time, Tyler was very friendly and professional. He diagnosed the problem (previous company had not installed a drain pan) and we discussed options with NO pressure. I was so impressed I asked to purchase their AC/Heating maintenance plan. WOW! FINALLY FOUND AN HONEST HEATING & A/C REPAIR COMPANY! Samms showed up today (Abel) and thank God for honest people! Abel said my capacitor was failing and the battery to the fan was the wrong size by 2.5 for the size of my unit. Cost to fix $423.00. I asked him if there were any leaks, he said no. He noticed I didnt have a drain pan, but there was a connenctor in place where one had been there previously. He showed me pictures of all this. I asked him if he could put a drain pan in, and he said yes. He also told me my unit is fairly new and in good condition.I then shared with him what was told to me by Heritage Air and Heat through my home (ripoff) warranty, they came to my house to diagnose why my a/c would flip on and off by itself. After the tech was here about 7 minutes, he told me the Evaporator Coil needed to be replaced and I had a cooling fluid leak. He submitted the repairs to the fraudulent and scam-filled American Home Shield warranty company. AHS told me they would repair the coils, but I would be responsible for a million other little things adding up to a cost for me of $4,000.00. (Keep in mind my unit is a few years old.) BUT WAIT!, theres more.... :) they recommended that I replace my total unit since this repair is so costly and I could purchase this through FrontDoor, who is associated with AHS, at a low rate of $9,993.00. I canceled my home warranty, and said I told Heritage A/C I would get a second opinion.Abel, with Samms confirmed that none of that work was needed on my unit.THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to Abel at SAMMs Heating and A/C for being honest and not ripping them off.I HIGHLY recommend Samms!!!!
I have used Samms Heating & Air Conditioning for quite a while now and tonight I validated why I continue to use them and will forever. I have two older pugs and my AC was not cooling around 9pm the girls were panting so I called Samms Heating & Air Conditioning and I got a call back within 5 minutes and the tech Tyler was at my house in an hour and 20 minutes. He immediately diagnosed the problem and promptly fixed it. I am so grateful for Tylers professionalism and for the excellent service provided by Samms Heating & Air Conditioning. Diagnosed as capacitor. $35 part 10 minutes of work. Told them I would do the work myself. When he found out, he changed the wires around so my capacitor would not fix the cheap problem. Sabotaged according to the next company who showed me exactly what was done. Run away this guy is crooked!!! Manager did not help. He wanted to charge another 1/2 price fee again to get paid twice for the same diagnostic. Very bad experience. Taking advantage of elderly people in Plano. Poor experience here people!

Samm’s did an amazing job with a full HVAC system upgrade for my house.The estimate process was so much better than other North Dallas competitors. They did not trying to upsale, took time to educate me, offered very competitive pricing, and additional bonuses to the offering (financing options, rebates, USA flag, cleaning service, etc.)Emilio came out to give a free quote on the work. This is my first house and first purchase on anything HVAC related so I didn’t know what to expect. He educated me through various options and provided me itemized quotes on-site, this is very helpful because you can really begin to budget and plan while the HVAC expert is still there to answer any questions. If Emilio comes to house, be excited because he is there to truly help you achieve your comfort goals of the house.The install day, was a full day long that started at 8am ending around 6-7pm. The team of 3 (De Luis and team) makes the process super easy and they take care of the details inside and outside the house. At the end, the team lead will do full walk through to help answer any more questions. Few days later a separate team conducts a quality check to make sure all systems are working to perfection, which is really nice.Overall Samm’s are already experts in Heating and Cooling, but what sets them apart is their customer experience. I have used Samm’s Heating and Air Conditioning exclusively for my home and rental properties. They’ve always done what they said should be done. They have maintenance programs at a reasonable cost. And if you need a whole new system they can connect you to Wells Fargo zero interest over 12/18 months. I wouldn’t use any other company

The customer service was fantastic, everyone was extremely kind and communicative and the diagnosis was thorough and thoughtful.I was especially impressed by the communication and how accommodating everyone was. Luis was able to come out the day after I called and was able to work around my schedule. I also appreciated the texts and calls to keep me up to date on arrival time. Payment was also extremely easy. We will for sure be booking their services for regular maintenance on my HVAC units moving forward (after we fix a plumbing leak that Luis informed us of).

The installers (David H and Felipe A) for Samm’s did an outstanding job of installing a new American Standard heating and AC system in my home. They were very knowledgeable, efficient and professional. .The installation process exceeded my expectations.
I did a LOT of research on a replacement heatpump. Ours, believe it or not, was 42 years old and still kicking, but it was an energy hog. So I ended up choosing the Trane Platinum series. Then it was time to search for a dealer. That itself was an ordeal. Finally narrowed it down to Sanms and another local vendor. Called the other vendor first, and they didnt have much time to answer questions. Seemed like I was bothering them.So on to Samms. Those guys are amazing. They listened, answered my questions, gave me some suggestions on enhancing my choice, and had a lot of patience. BUT, they didnt offer Trane. They do offer American Standard, which is the same product built on the same assembly line.Back to researching to make sure this was the correct choice. Decided, yep, it is.Called Samms on a Tuesday, and had half expected to have a long wait. The scheduler was very nice and apologized they couldnt get to it any sooner than the following Monday. (Oh nice!!!)Emilio arrived with his crew on time for the 7am schedule, and after everyone looking at the old unit with both amazement and laughter, they got busy. The air handler had a problem, so they quickly got a replacement (and the next size up at no extra cost), and had the entire system up and running 11 hours later.They were very informative, very professional, very friendly and very careful (even though they didnt need to be considering we have no floor coverings right now).Ultimately, I HIGHLY recommend Samms (and Trane/American Standard). You will not be disappointed.

Quality and no shortcuts. They even included maid service to clean at your convenience.And, best of all the new variable units are saving me around 30kw a day. Great company and highly recommend.

I have used Samms twice, now. The first time one of my AC units would not run. The tech came out the next morning and after some great effort, traced down a short in the wire between the evaporator unit in the attic and the condenser outside. He repaired the wire and had things running again. The second incident was that AC condenser would not turn on. Samms came out that evening and replaced the condenser. Great people, great work!
I am a new customer with SAMMs. Kevin did a fantastic job with our summer PM. His checkout of the compressor and heat exchanger were detailed and thorough. And his cleaning of the compressor coils and vents, both inside and out, was amazing! He answered my questions about parts and put us in touch with their duct designer to work with us on that. So far, I am delighted with SAMMs!

We have used Samm’s AC service for years and find them to be a reputable and experienced business. These past few days, however, have been rough. Miguel came to our house Friday evening to address the AC in our upstairs bedroom. He replaced the thermostat and charged $530.10. Still, no AC. He returned on Saturday afternoon and replaced the capacitor and charged us $380.70. Still no AC. He returned Sunday afternoon and found that he had mis-wired the new thermostat and corrected the situation. He acknowledged that he had made a mistake.We like Miguel a lot. He is responsive and courteous - very professional. But it seems we were charged a lot - almost $1,000! We will continue to use Sam’s but just wanted to document our experience.Mary Edlund

Samm’s has certainly taken the time to train their employees. I’ve never experienced such courteous employees who are there to update your home. I’ve had new windows, new flooring, new roofing and a bathroom remodel, none of those employees were even close to being as professional and quiet as Samm’s employees. They were tearing out all my ductwork and installing more efficient ductwork with all new return vents placed in the ceiling. They quietly took everything out the front door and quietly closed the door after them. No music playing, just very courteous. My husband was blown away by the workmanship in the attics. Would highly recommend Samm’s Heating & Air.
Just completed the install of two evaporator coils for my upstairs and downstairs units on Apr. 6, 2021. I contacted multiple contractors to both get competitive bids and interview the suppliers to assess their knowledge and integrity. This process can be tedious and frustrating at times, but it needs to be done because Ive heard too many horror stories on shady contractors. SAMMs A/C while not the cheapest, I found to be the most reputable, fair, and knowledgeable in my opinion based on my interviewing process. I ask a lot of questions. Marcus, their design specialist was very knowledgeable and exceptional in his approach to take the time to explain the process and answer my questions. Out of all the contractors that made the cut to come out for an onsite visit he was by far the most thorough and comprehensive. Totally straight forward with a no BS approach, and that was very appreciated! Their installation team Mario and Eustolio arrived on time and got to work. They quickly tore the old leaky coils out and took care removing them from the attic as they exited the house. The install progressed throughout the day and they took the time to answer any of my questions or promptly address any of my concerns along the way. They worked until the job was done which was a full day ending at around 9 PM! Their dedication to complete the job that day was much appreciated! I am pleased with their quality installation of both units and the units appeared to be operating well at 75 F ambient temperature at night when they finished. Depending on location the units were putting out cold air (43-50 F) at the registers, which was measured by me with an IR temperature sensor. Although the true test will be on our first hot Texas summer day. Im confident SAMMs will stand behind their work should any issues arise or the system needs some fine tuning. Finally, their customer service and follow-up was excellent! Thank you to the SAMMs team for a job well done!UPDATE - I thought it important to add this update to illustrate the companys commitment to quality and ensuring the customer is satisfied with the job done. On May 26, 2021 SAMMs sent Javier out to perform their QC check on the installation. He inspected both units and made adjustments where necessary (i.e. leveling one of the drip pans). Additionally he checked system performance (static pressure & temperature differential) at the evaporator coils in the attic. He also checked system Freon pressures at the condensers to ensure both units were properly charged. Javier was thorough and spent the time to make sure the systems were running to spec. and to also answer any questions I had. The temperature outside was 87 F (one of the hotter days weve had in awhile considering all this rain and unseasonable cooler temps) and both systems measured a 20 F delta across the evaporator coils and were operating properly. This yields a 14-16 F delta when measuring at the coldest vent to its return. Thanks again to the SAMMs Heating and A/C team for a job well done!

I have had Samm’s Heating to service my heater and A/C equipment for 7 years now. This time I had Kaveh( Kevin) as the technician. He was so friendly and professional. He really wanted to make sure I was happy with my HVAC units. Even though he was here for a heater check, he checked to make sure my AC drain was clear and adjusted a dampener to address an airflow issue I was having. I highly recommend this company for all of your HVAC needs!
Samms has been my go to since 2019. They installed my outdoor A/C unit and indoor furnace. Always prompt always on time and very knowledgeable. Luis just helped me solve a simple fix, never tried to up sell me and even let me know my unit was still under warranty(which I completely forgot). He found the issue super fast but stayed and made sure all the readings were on point before leaving. I’m a customer for life and appreciate y’all very much.

I have Samm’s service, my rental property and home in Plano I’ve used Samm’s since 2017 and never had a problem. They are quick, honest, and do great work. There may be less expensive companies out there but I don’t think there are any nearly as reliable. As a realtor, I recommend them to all of my clients in Collin county.
Had ac replaced. Tech stepped through ceiling. Now have to schedule 2 days to get hole repaired. Then when done said a tech will come out in a day or 2 to make sure the installation was done correctly???? Why isn’t this done day of. They also provide a cleaning service. Again have to schedule this. Why isn’t it done the day of the work. In this case it’s good I need to wait. Because I’m certain repairing the hole in my ceiling will make a mess. Just not happy with the procedures and having a hole in the ceiling.

Everyone we worked with from Samms was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. we have 3 AC units for our house and they were all almost 20 years old, at the end of their life. When Marcus did our quote, his process was incredibly detailed, and he took the time to explain everything, answer questions,and discuss our options so I would be comfortable with this big investment. The installation team was hard working and very thorough, staying as long as it took to get the job done right. They added duct work and replaced all 3 units in 3 days. Samms is the best. From Cole, the estimator, to the installers, Aury, Brando, and Ricardo, professional all the way. Cole didnt just supply the quote, but came back during installation to make sure everything was going well. As an engineer, I can say the installation is extremely well done, everything run neatly, all the joints sealed, etc. And, the installation crew did not rush the clean up. They left the attic, hallway, etc., even the back yard and driveway spotless. If you hadnt seen the truck, youd never known the had been there. I had a very good experience with Samms Heating and Air. After having multiple companies come out to my house and provide quotes to replace my AC system, Samms provided a competitive price to have the AC system replaced and also replace a few of our ducts. They took their time with the quoting process, making sure they covered everything. Cole was very professional and knowledgeable about the process. He was also very responsive to any follow up questions I had. Only thing I would say that other companies had over Samms was the wait time to get a system replaced. Other companies had availability next day or within 48 hours to replace an AC system. I waited 2 weeks for Samms but I believe it was worth the wait. I went with Samms based on them taking their time and professionalism shown during the quote visit. The day of system replacement, the crew consisting of Luis, Aury and David were on time and worked diligently. They made sure to put down floor protectors and also cleaned and hauled away everything that was considered trash. We trusted them enough to leave the house alone while they were there working. It was an all day job and I am very appreciative of the work they did. I highly recommend Samms heating & air. Very professional group of people.
My A/C stopped working on a Sunday evening, and out of several places I contacted (including the company that installed the system a few years ago), Samms was the only one that could come out for a service call quickly, and arrived with 30 minutes. The job was diagnosed and fixed within an hour, and my house was cooling again. Very pleased with their service.

Once again, Samms Heating and Air Conditioning delivers an exceptional service. After several years of deferring replacing our 20+ year old unit, this summer finally pushed us over the hump to get a replacement. First Cole came and did a professional assessment of our needs and recommended a unit that fit our needs (not too much, not too little, just right). He then followed up promptly with a quote and scheduled our installation date, which was only a couple of weeks out.On the installation date, Luis and team came on time (early in fact) and did a professional job of installation. They were quiet, clean and friendly. They took time to explain what they were going to do and when finished, explained the whole system and all the new bells and whistles to ensure years of reduced maintenance operation and safety. They left the place clean and explained all the followup items that were next, including a cleaning, technical inspection by Samms and the city inspector.Now Samms isnt going to be the cheapest out there, but in my book they are a great value given the quality and high level of service.Samms hit out of of the park again. Highly recommended.

Javiers attention to detail, technical skills, communication skills, and general kindness were very much appreciated. Samms seems to attract technicians that are both skilled and wonderful human beings.
Sams replaced my unit three years ago on a 20yr old house. I have had them keep up the maintenance since then and they have been nothing but professional and courteous when they call and schedule. We have had only two different techs over this time period and both of them have been great when they showed up for the routine maintenance checks.
Ive been using Samms for well over a decade and three different homes. Most recently they did a complete replacement install of my furnace and condenser unit. They are very detail oriented, timely, fairly priced and pleasant to work with! They follow up after the installation for a final inspection and send a complimentary cleaning company over to tidy everything up and do a light home cleaning as well. I would recommend Samms to any of my friends and family. Keep up the great work!
Technician was prompt, professional, courteous, and wasted no time in getting the work done. A question or two about the billing but all were resolved with minimal hassle factor or stress. An added bonus was no sales pitch to buy a new unit since my 12 year old system had leaked a bit in two years. Their office was also easy to work with so I am a happy customer in all aspects. Giving 2 stars because the second Technician that came out was able to accurately diagnose the issue and front office person is very good and proactive. I had signed up for maintenance package for HVAC tune up . First technician (i dont want to name) showed up just after it stopped raining for tuneup and took his time for inspection. He came in and informed me that capacitor is worn out (even though outdoor unit was working properly) and quoted additional fee for replacement which I agreed to while trusting him. He then went on to tell me that he has taken pictures of my evaporator coil and its dirty. I believed him. After, he changed the capacitor, the outdoor unit started short cycling. He told me that it was due to the dirty evaporator. I was confused because the ac was working without any short cycling till he replaced the capacitor. I knew it was not cooling as well it should but I didnt have issues what I observed after he changed capacitor. Then I asked him if he could check if there was a leak. He told me that would cost extra. After some time he came back telling me that manager asked to run diagnostics for free. He took equipment up the attic and then came back telling me there is no leak and he doesnt know what the issue is. I asked him to show me the dirty coil. Reluctantly he opened the coil and to my surprise it was clean . He said he doesnt know why the pictures showed its dirty. (May be they were pictures from someone elses unit.) Anyhow, he was ready to leave and told me that I need a new coil and condenser and to call the office on Monday. I made the payment for his tuneup package and capacitor and he left. The big mistake that I did was not to check if AC is running before he left. I turned the AC ON and found that the outdoor unit was not running. To my surprise I found that he had switched off the outdoor unit from the power switch. I turned it on and the unit started short cycling. I immediately called the office and explained the situation. They immediately scheduled second technician to come out the same day and take a look. The second technician Luis was excellent..he immediately detected the leak in the evaporator coil and also told me that he needs to fill the refrigerant to stop short cycling of the exterior unit. After he completed that it was back to running. He also recommended to have design appointment..to which I agreed to get an estimate . But I was very disappointed the way the first tecnician( apparently a trainee) handled the situation and bailed after creating the problem. I gave this feed back to the office and they told they will look into this but no one reached out to me after that. In the end I replaced capacitor for no reason. After all this I lost trust with this company and I decided not to do any business for new unit. My advice is to educate yourself and dont trust whatever the technician tells you blindly. I would not be calling them for fall tune up ( even though I paid for the full package).

5 Star all the way! After 4 other quotes from others, a good friend recommended Samms to me. Marcus baselined my existing system, drew out the entire system to show me my air balance issues and answered every question I had. Very customer service oriented and technically top notch! Then the install team came. They were amazing too! Worked 12 hours and were so professional, extremely thorough. I LOVE my 18 Seer Variable Speed system. Its so comfortable and quiet. Exceeded all my expectations regarding excellent equipment, quality install, great team, professional, knowledgeable. Worth every penny and absolutely no regrets. The owner must take very good care of his team because they all spoke so well of their company and the pride they have in their job! Highly recommend Samms!
Excellent service, on time and very professional. Explained the problems very clearly and made sure I understood what had happened. Repaired the issue quickly and found another problem that would have caused more problems in the near future. Excellent initial response, follow up, scheduling, service and billing. The experience with Samms has been great! We initially had them do repairs and maintenance which was done when requested on schedule. Due to the age of the equipment, we recently had them replace a 6 Ton roof top unit (RTU). They were able to locate equipment, promptly scheduled the crane for removal and installation, and the crew was efficiently complete within less than a day. There was great communication from initial inspection through completion of installation and conveying of warranty. I would recommend!
Had a wonderful experience with getting a new HVAC and furnace installed by Samms recently. They have been doing the regular maintenance on our system for a while and I asked about replacing our aging furnace and AC, and they got someone to come out, design and size out a system who offered several options and was able to make great recommendations without trying to hard sell me on anything, which was very pleasant.We were able to decide on a system that met our needs, and it was a very quick process to schedule and install and get it done. The install was very professional and they even stayed late to make sure the new smart thermostat was properly configured and communicating with the unit.The system has been working great and I have already noticed improvements in the airflow, since they improved out duct work as part of the install.I love the fact that they had someone come out a week later to verify the system, check if we had any issues, and run some diagnostics to make sure everything was running great.Love the service I have gotten from them for standard maintenance and have loved the new system they have installed!

Samms Heating and Air Conditioning modernized our vent and duct system in our vintage home. The new air system distributes air much better and the air smells better, too. After the installation, Samms had a home cleaning service clean the house of dust so the house was spotless. Samms came back a week after installation and inspected all the work. We have been very impressed with this company. Great customer service!

The system is ready for a long Texas summer.4/1/22John took care of our annual maintenance which gives us confidence headed into the summer. He was thorough and honest and made sure all my questions were answered.Our AC Unit stopped working and Tim quickly came to our rescue. He was very professional, answered a lot of questions and made sure we understood our options. Emilio has us setup for replacement and even provided a window unit to help take the edge off in this summer heat. I continued to be impressed by their professionalism and not trying to oversell services or products.Update: Both units are installed and the crews were excellent. Worst experience with a heating and air company of my life which is saying something as I’m in my 50’s and I’ve been a Realtor for 20plus yrs and have owned many homes and rentals and been a tenant in others. Absolutely rude and not interested in “making it right!” I’m shocked by the way I was spoken to by the technician and then by manager name I believe was Amy. The tech was Tiffany. If you want customer service and want help getting your system right and want to avoid damage to the property look elsewhere!
I had an excellent experience when Samms fixed a broken A/C unit in my home (capacitor replacement). Following that, they replaced the plenum and all ductwork upstairs to improve temperature balance and airflow (a few rooms were significantly hotter). While it took multiple visits from technicians and a redesign of the plenum to address all the issues, Samms stood behind their work and continued to follow up until I was 100% satisfied with the result.

Samms provided what I consider to be superior service proposing and installing my two HVAC systems. They did a thorough review of what was needed, including vents that were not previously connected and another air intake that was would improve the temp is a back bedroom. Marcus was the individual that provided the thorough check of the house. The installers, Luis, Joshua and Michael did a great job. They worked some very long hours over a two day period. The crew was very careful to insure that they took care of our home while keeping us informed about their progress. Always professional and respectful. They will send out another tech to check the installation and employ a cleaning service to insure that the customer is satisfied with the job. The tech and cleaning service will occur in the next two weeks. I have used Samms for many years to keep my systems in working order. Cannot recommend them highly enough.
Short review: A+ for new system pricing, A+ for installation, A+ for service after the sale.Long review:Shout out #1 – Marcus Melrose, Design Specialist. After extensive research into A/C manufacturers and system types, I chose Samm’s as one of 4 vendors across DFW to provide me a quote for installing a new American Standard variable speed HVAC (including Platinum series heat pump and TAM air handler). Not only was Marcus’s quote the lowest of the four, it was the most honest and detail oriented. After a thorough design review, I decided to also include all new ducting throughout the house, which turned out to be an excellent decision as it has greatly increased the cooling and air flow in the entire house. This was a very expensive project, yet Marcus was never pushy or aggressive to close the deal. He gave me plenty of time to decide and ask questions. If you are going to receive a quote for a new system from Samm’s, ask for Marcus and you will be in very good hands.Shout out #2 – Felipe, Osvaldo, and David, the “premier” install team. You don’t need a premier installation team to simply replace an old condenser and air handler. You need highly experienced technicians to install a new plenum, run new ducting, install new registers, run new copper supply lines, AND most importantly, install a top-tier American Standard (or Trane) HVAC and heat pump system, in the middle of July, in Texas. These three gentlemen worked extremely hard non-stop for 2 straight days in 105+ degree outside temperatures (much higher in the attic), and were very courteous from arrival to exit. They also kept my house clean of dust and debris, even after adding 10 new registers in the ceiling and retrofitting the new air handler into the old closet. If you want the best installers for your new system and new ducting within your attic, be sure to request the premier install team of Felipe, Osvaldo, and David.Shout out #3 – Daniel Rios, Senior Technician. A few days after my new system was installed, Daniel visited to perform a follow-up inspection of the entire system and ducting installation. Although I thought the system was running perfectly, Daniel discovered an internal issue that was so obscure, the troubleshooting involved calls all the way back to the factory at American Standard. After a couple of return visits, Daniel and Samm’s management decided not to just replace the faulty part, but rather, replace the entire air handler, even though I thought the entire system was running great. That was an unexpected and pleasant surprise that Samm’s fully covered themselves, and it resolved all of Daniel’s concerns. If you want the best of the best technicians to troubleshoot and repair your HVAC, be sure to request Daniel for your appointment.Shout out #4 – Estefani and Amber, Samm’s front office. These ladies make appointment scheduling a breeze, and are super friendly. You can talk to them on the phone, or contact via text messaging, which was very convenient for me as I was able to get my appointments scheduled while I was in work meetings, and didn’t have to call back at a later time.Thank you, Samm’s, for your excellent service and staff. Luis and Aury were terrific, they time they took to install everything properly and explain what they were doing throughout the day was impressive. Great guys. Had to replace our complete system, the company we used years ago was not at their level. Emilio sold Samms for us on his initial visit to our house. We were considering going with someone else, but the price, warranty and Emilios honesty and friendliness made us choose Samms. They do it all the right way.
The best in the biz and after 20+ years, still the best. Even good with dogs. I would’ve preferred the tech clean the filter(s) as ours are awkward to get out and we’re aging (ouch!), but this tech was ‘new’ so letting it slide. I’ll brave the chore.

My husband and I would recommend Samm’s over and over again. We couldn’t be more happy with our overall experience with them. Marcus was very professional and took his time in providing us a specialized quote to replace all of our duct work. And his knowledge and design abilities were spot on! We moved into our home a little over a year ago and noticed quite quickly that not all rooms would cool down, some didn’t have any air flow at all. After Samm’s did the job, we instantly noticed the difference in air quality and quantity. Now, the air flow is evenly distributed through out the house and rooms cool down much quicker as promised. The team that came out to do the job was also great! Shout out to Tiffany, Luis, Joshua, and Aury!! They worked diligently to finish the job. We have used Samms for our HVAC Maintenance and repairs since they opened for business. I have always found them to be honest and provide excellent service. My most recent annual A/C Maintenance service was no exception. Juan arrived on-time as expected, performed all the necessary checks and adjustments in a reasonable time. As is typical he offered several suggestions to improve our system, but I was not pressured to make the upgrades when I deferred. I wish all businesses operated like this - prompt, do whats necessary, work is professional, make suggestions for improvements, but dont pressure you if you decide not to make them. I have recommended them to several other people.
My experience with Matt and Samms Heating and Air was terrific. We woke up and noticed our home was at 78 degrees - much higher than its normal 72 overnight. The unit was running but clearly not cooling. Given we have had 45 days of 100 degree weather, it was a problem. I submitted a request at 7 am via their website. Matt called me at 7:45 am. He assured me a scheduler would call me and do the best they could. The scheduler did call me and the best they had was next day in the afternoon.What I really appreciated was 2 hours later they called back and offered us a 10 am slot from a cancellation!! We seized it, Matt arrived and completed a repair within an hour; checke the overall system. He was gracious and pleasant and effective.We are big fans of Samms!!

I have been doing business with Samms for several years now. They provide an excellent preventative maintenance program at a good value. It is good twice per year to get a report that your heating and A/C are in good working order. They let you know if anything is wrong and needs to be addressed. They replaced one of my systems 2 or 3 years ago and the work was very professional and they provide you with the best options for your circumstances. Very happy with their service. Just had my spring checkup for 2020 and Tiffany was great. She checked everything out and indicated all was good even for the 20 year old system we still have. She also answered some questions I had regarding some duct work for the upstairs unit that can be addressed when I replace it. Wonderful company.

I was out-of-state. My wife was home, but leaving for the airport to travel to join me. About 4 hours before she needed to leave for the airport, our thermostat went out. We have been using Samm’s exclusively for almost 10 years. My wife phoned Samm’s, explained our thermostat problem and her flight time dilemma. Samm’s was booked solid for the day, but still managed to get the technicians out to our house. They replaced the thermostat and my wife made it to her flight on time.Our technician (Cole) and his partner saved the day (as always).During the nearly 10 years we have always received high quality, professional, prompt service from Samm’s. We expect the next 10 years to be more of the same!
Of the quotes in the area, these folks were the best quality for the price point, but still significantly more than I had expected. The design experience was excellent. Unfortunately, the installation varied from the design due to some complexities. The team cleaned after themselves, but still created a lot of dust, claiming that they wouldnt make any mess. 0% financing over 6 years made the price more bearable. Of the choices in this area, Id recommend Samms.Edit: In response to the owners response.A cleaning service came afterwards, which was appreciated. A nice touch when spending over $20K. Unfortunately, a cleaning service would not fix the damage that would have been done if I had not taken the appropriate precautions. As I was covering electronic components throughout the home, the installers told me that this step was unnecessary because they have a technique that will capture all of the dust created. This technique consists of 1/2 a box against the ceiling as holes are being cut. The debris covered my desk and other areas of the home. Im glad that I took the time to protect anything that would be sensitive to debris one would expect when cutting drywall, with or without a box.

Ive been calling Samms for a few years now for A/C maintenance and repair and theyre always super nice, responsive and accommodating. Speaking from experience, if they dont get it right the first time theyll come back out for no extra charge to finish the job, no questions asked.Absolutely among the best service in town, you wont regret calling them.

(Part 4) Luis was back, and as always was professional and polite. He went about his business efficiently, replaced the filter, checked out or system and all is well. As mentioned previously we are “lifers” with Samms… I cannot recommend them enough!(Part 3) Several weeks after the large installation, Matt came to review the installation, and make sure everything was working correctly. Matt was on-time, professional and extremely polite. He recapped what he did, and all is good! We love Samms!!(Part 2) Since our first experience with Samms (see review below), we are lifers. Our system was old and outdated and we replaced everything, plus, on their recommendation added a ceiling intake. All of the young men were polite and knew their business. They called ahead, were here on time, and went about their tasks with little to no interference with me. Luis was especially helpful taking time to show us how the new thermostat works and getting us set up with our phones/bluetooth access. Everything is working well and we are very happy with the service.(First review) Finally, after several other companies took our money, but failed to fix the system... this is the first time in 12 months that the A/C is working correctly... and for a reasonable price. We went ahead and paid for the maintenance plan (which gave us 10% off the repairs). Maintenance was done very efficiently. The staff is kind and friendly. Cant say enough good about Daniel and Tiffany... they both provided excellent service and I never felt uncomfortable with them in my home. Add the little things like putting a mat down on the floor to catch the yuck/yuck that falls from the attic... very thoughtful. Definitely 5 stars.

Samms and their tech, John, did a great job. I was so pleased with their service that I signed up for another year of their annual service plan.
Thoroughly disappointed with their service. Unaccommodating and rude professionals. Their prices seem good - but we were completely blindsided about the service fee waiver. It is hard to make a $$ decision in 30 minutes to repair our HVAC. We asked for a day or two to make that decision, and asked if the service fee (of 99$) would be waived of then and they vehemently refused. We were open to give them business but the ladys inflexibility and off-handed behaviour really put us off, and made them loose a potential customer. Our money was held hostage, and even when we told them we will get back them in an hour (it was almost end of the day) - they pressurized us to make a decision ASAP.
Cole was amazing. He actively communicated through the whole process, talked us through our options, and followed up several times to make sure everything was working! Our furnace was destroyed by a bad contractor and Cole was able to organize installing a replacement unit in 1 day. This was the best experience I’ve had with a home repair in years! I highly recommend Samm’s.

Air conditioner went out in middle of a hot day on a Sunday. Called Samms for the first time on Monday morning and luckily they had an available appointment same day. Tech, Matt, came out and did inspection first and advised me the air handler fan relay board not opening, causing blower motor not to run. As well as the capacitor which was beginning to fail. Both were replaced and all was fixed. Matt was very professional and worked pretty fast to get the job done. I felt the $898.00 price was a bit high but what are you going to do. It has to be repaired and these days what else isnt expensive. I was very thankful to Matt for the job and will most likely use Samms again.

Tiffany and Amy were true professionals. They came in with booties over their shoes and had a mat they put under my attic stairs. Tiffany explained how the hot and cold air in my attic has no way to filter out. I have an appointment with someone with their design team to come to my home to explain my options. No one from the the other AC company I have been using has ever mentioned that I have that issue. I was extremely happy with the service that was provided and will certainly recommend them to my friends. Thank you!

Its hard to believe Im calling replacing 2 complete A/C and furnace systems a great experience -- but Samms seriously made it a great experience. As painless as it could be.We originally started using Samms over the summer for repairs on our 20 year old systems (after awful experience with home warranty techs). They always were able to come out very quickly, the service techs (Tim and Martin) were exceptionally thorough and good at explaining what was going on. I never felt like they pushed me to make repairs that werent critical or to replace the systems (even though they did badly need to be replaced).In late November, after another major part on one of the systems went out, I finally decided to bite the bullet and replace that system, as well as a second one that was pretty far into disrepair and I was sick of worrying about. I got 3 quotes from other companies, because even though we had a maintenance contract with Samms -- I needed to do my due diligence. We ended up going with Samms. They werent the cheapest, but they were the highest-value and reasonably priced, not crazy expensive. Their 3 year labor warranty and the extras they provide compared to other companies really are extremely high-value to me.Emilio designed/quoted our system, and he was here for over 2 hours. He really did the math to make sure everything was sized appropriately and had proper air flow, versus just eyeballing it. I appreciate knowing it was designed right (we needed to add a couple of returns and increase the size of a couple supply ducts, which is common after builder-grade installs.Roger, Luis, and Juan Carlos were the team that did the installs over 2 days. I cannot say enough good things about them. They were always exactly on time, GREAT communicators, and extremely clean. Anytime I had a question (a couple vents were a little noisy), Roger was all over it and truly made me feel comfortable asking any questions I had. The team at the office is the most polite, kind, helpful staff Ive ever encountered. Honestly, I wish I could find other service providers like this team.When I first started using Samms, and even when I was again reading reviews before buying the new systems, I though to myself - why in the world does everyone reference the names of all the employees? I kind of thought there must be some sort of automated feedback setup that people just had to click one button and it filled it all in for them. While Samms does send an email asking for feedback on a 1 - 5 star rating on a different site, they did NOT push me to post a review. Ive realized its truly because they provide such exceptional service. To have every single employee you come into contact with be so above-and-beyond is really unusual even at great companies. It makes you want to recognize each person individually because they are all just really good people. This is the best customer service Ive ever received, from any organization, ever. And thats why people rave about it... as Ive been going on too long about here.

He brought out a top notch installation crew including Jaime and Jose who were very professional and very thorough. I definitely recommend Samms and look forward to many years of service with them.

Got quotes and estimates from several other companies and I chose Samm’s primarily because their sales rep, Emilio, proved to be very knowledgeable and really understood what we really needed. The installation team was also very professional and very easy to work with. Awesome experience overall. Highly recommend them.
Samms was amazing to work with!!!! From the time I first called Rose (what a sweetie that was so nice and helpful) to scheduling with Amber (she always was so nice and enthusiastic and eager to schedule when it was convenient for us) to Marcus (what a nice, thorough guy who wants to be fair and make his customers happy) coming out and accessing the problem and finally JR and helper out to fix our AC!!!! JR was so nice and courteous and was so careful not to mess our home up. He explained everything before he left and made us feel important! We will use Samms for a long time!
What a great experience! I called Samms when my AC quit working. Amber answered the phone and was able to get me on the schedule the same day. She gave me a 4 hour window and a promise that the technician would call when he was ready to head my way. As promised, Victor called to let me know he was 30 min out. Victor was awesome! Very friendly, courteous, and helpful. He had my problem diagnosed and resolved in about 20 min. These folks are top notch. Great customer service.
Samms came highly recommended from a friend for how great their experience and service was. We called them out to take a look at our home and figure out why the airflow on the far end of the home was so low. They quickly determined that the old duct system just did not allow to efficiently direct air throughout the whole home. I received a quote to install all new ducts and new vents throughout. Over two days they were able to install everything and it has been a total game changer having the whole house be the same temp. The install team was professional, fast, efficient, and extra accommodating, and not to mention the service we got from the design specialist who came to look and estimate the project costs. They are definitely a company I will use in the future for all my hvac needs and recommend highly.
We lost heat on the last day of being snowed in and we needed help fast. Luis B was able to be there the next day at the standard rate and was prompt near the start of the service window after calling ahead. He found the problem in an hour and had it fixed soon afterwards. He explained it clearly and then charged us fairly. We were super pleased.
Im very happy with the service I received from Samms Heating and Air. Russ was very courteous and professional. He showed me my options and sold me a system that is far more efficient than the one I had. He even came back out after the install to give me some tips to get better performance out of the system. (my attic isnt insulated or ventilated well at all, so Im fixing that next) The install team arrived on time, they were very careful not to damage my walls or floor, and they were also courteous and professional. They showed me how to use my new thermostat from an app on my phone and I was really impressed.
I called SAMMs HVAC on a Friday and scheduled an appt for the following Monday to check a drainage issue on a 2 years old system, which the original company was not very responsive.Luis arrived on time. He was very professional, polite, friendly and knowledgeable.He triaged the issue and found the original installer used a J-trap instead of a P-trap (I assume it was recommended by American Standard to use a P-trap).He replaced it and blew out the drain line.Issue was fixed. Thank you Luis for a great job.On a side note, not Luiss fault, the cost of the repair was too high for replacing a p-trap which cost very little. I had no idea how much other companies would charge and didnt want to waste time, so I decided to allow Luis to proceed with the repair.Overall, it was a great experience and glad it got fixed.Thank you to Amber as well for a great customer service.Gal

My wife and I bought a home in Plano in November. We were very happy with the quality of the HVAC system. When we decided to add a purifier we called the same company that the owners had listed for their install back in 2018. From the first call to Samms I had a feeling it would be a good experience and they didnt let me down. They were prompt getting back to me and keeping their appointment time. I had the Oxy 4 purifier added to the system because of our allergies. The verdict is still out on the OXY 4 system but not on the service of Samms and their Techs. Clean, friendly, and made any easy job of the install. I was so happy with their service that I also got a estimate on replacing some duct work that wasnt done with the install of the system. Marcus came out for estimate and Ill include him in my review when the job is done, because that man was the BEST. I cant wait to see his vision in play when the work is complete. UPDATE.... More of the the same with Samms. The duct install went flawless. The crew was friendly and clean. It took 2 complete days to install the system that Marcus had drawn up the week prior. I took a look at the duct that was laying on the lawn halfway thru the job and was amazed on how much build up was in the duct itself. I realized why my wife and Is allergies where so bad. The final step of the job was Matt coming to take a look at the install and answer any questions I had. Matt is another testament on the quality of worker Samms hires. I am so grateful for everyone that I have had the pleasure of meeting and working with throughout this experience. Thank you Samms Heating and Cooling for being here for my family and I.
Always have a great experience with Samms. They installed our system some 10 years ago and they maintain it twice per year. Everything works perfectly. When service is needed, they are prompt and always send great people to fix any problems. Strongly recommend Samms to anyone.
Samms called me about my annual maintenance and schedule a date. A few days before they called to verify and I told them one unit would be unavailable the second half of the windows. The service technician arrived at the early part of the window and I informed him that one unit would be unavailable but he was efficient and professional and got everything checked out well and in time. Ive been overall very pleased with Samms and their work.
Tech was punctual, informative, provided quick solutions and the price was reasonable. I would recommend this business to others.Edit: I called Samms out for another visit and it was the most positive experience Ive ever had with any service company. My brand new A/C system wasnt working, the Samms tech noticed that the wiring was done incorrectly but couldnt determine if it was done by them or someone else thus didnt feel it was right to charge me to get it running again. I will never us another company for HVAC needs again. This level of honesty and sticking behind their work is what we need to see more of. They couldve made $100 of of me but instead will make thousands in future business and referrals because they have demonstrated honesty, trust in their techs and an understanding of how business should work.
I have been using Samms for over 12 years now. I have never had a bad experience with them. Last year I had a new system installed. Tuesday I had all my ductwork replaced. The crew was great. Marcus, Roger, Juan and Louis were courteous and efficient. Bottom line: If you want your service to be done by the right people ( From the office staff to the techs) who take pride, know what theyre doing and get the job done right .... Use Samms!!
I love Samms. They did an excellent job of installing my gas furnace in 2015 and fixed a botched job installed by a competitor 2 years before that. Marcus has been my tech for the whole time, and I love the way he explains everything in a way I can understand. He never minds that I ask tons of questions and watch what he is doing. The office staff is also helpful. The young lady who answers the phone (Ashley?) is always cheerful and helpful. I just had my system serviced for the winter. My original appointment was for mid-December (thats how popular this company is) but Ashley called me today to offer me a slot when someone else cancelled. That means they are keeping track of their waiting list--not just telling you they have one but do nothing about it. I cant say enough good things about Samms.
I give Samms Heating and Air the highest rating possible. They zero in on the problem and fix it. The crew showed up on time and stayed until the job was done. All of them were friendly, personable, respected myhome, and answered any questions I had.We had all of our air ducts replaced and they did an awesome job. The job took a little longer than expectedand they stayed until it was done. While they were here they found another problem with our heating unit thatwill end up saving us money on our electric bill, even though it did cost us a little extra to get fixed. All of Samms employees are focused on costumer satisfaction. The other thing I liked was I didnt feel takenadvantage of by them. I felt they were honest while doing a great job. I will be using them from now on.My daughter recommended them and I am so glad she did. Everyone in her husbands family has used themfor years and swear by Samms. This company does a great job. They are very professional. I was called and update on their arrival time. They were on time and did an excellent job. Tiffany is excellent and very knowledgeable with her job. I aways ask for Tiffany for this reason. While doing her job she is willing to talk with you and explain what she is doing. John came out to diagnose humid and musty unit upstairs. He was very thorough and found a few issues. He was very patient explaining it to us and showed my husband the issues and took pictures to document etc. We have a design consultant scheduled to come out to do further testing and decide the best approach to fix the system so that the issue doesn’t happen again. We like that they didn’t simply overcharge us to clean the plenum etc but are going the extra mile to help get to the root of the problem and truly resolve it. I will update this review once the final repair/fix has been done.

Called these guys out on a Saturday because our AC was not working. They showed up earlier than expected, thoroughly looked over our system, and ended up at our breaker box where the problem originated. Our breaker box was still original (house built in 1962) and the AC breakers were out. He was courteous, professional and helped us out on a Saturday. This company is not our regular company, but when they were booked up, these guys came through!

Marcus Melrose is a knowledgeable and courteous professional. But more importantly, he is a kind and honest human being. He came out to look at our HVAC unit after a few other companies had been there and gave us information that nobody else did. He walked us through the pros and cons of the different types of units, and displayed his expertise throughout the entire process. Most companies are committed to making a sale and that is it. Marcus, on the other hand, was committed to educating us on everything from the science of airflow to grate positioning to the history of air ducts. He really knows his stuff! But what makes Marcus and the Samms team special is the devotion he showed to helping us out. We called him on a Friday evening after our A/C would not blow cold air. Marcus was at home with his family and spent 45 minutes on the phone with me walking me through all of the different possible solutions to get the A/C blowing again. We eventually discovered that one of the other companies that had come out to give us a quote, had rewired the unit to where the outside unit was not receiving a signal from the thermostat, thus resulting in no conditioned air. What did Marcus do then? He walked me through correcting the sabotage and restored cold air to our house. The best part is that he did this prior to us accepting any quote from him and having Samms do the work. Nobody wants to replace their HVAC, but I guarantee Marcus will make the process as painless as possible. He is trustworthy and honest, and just all around a great professional.
I was having issues where my downstairs wasnt getting enough airflow during the most recent freeze and they came over the next day and found and fixed my issue. (A duct in the attic ripped open). 30 min in and out and pricing was great. No issues since and my wallet is already thanking me for not using gas to heat my attic. Will definitely be calling them again if I ever need anything else done.

What wasnt to like? Of all the estimates I got from other companies Samms was the one that treated me like a million. They showed up on time. Spend some time figuring out the problem with the unit. They offered me two choices, repair the exiting unit or upgrade to a new unit. I chose to update as my exiting unit is 24 yrs. old. I would highly recommend this company to everyone I know. Aury L called the day of the appointment to let me know when he was on his way. The focus was on replacing the capacitor and unit maintenance.I found Aury L to be professional and polite. Also, Samm’s had another team member meet up to replace the capacitor while he did maintenance on my 2 units. Thus, the time spent on tasks were efficient and didn’t tie up my day.We reviewed the next things that need to be done to maintain my investment. He checked costs of the recommendations. My heat went off during the cold spell this past week in the late afternoon. I called Samms about 4:45PM and they scheduled me with Luis for a service call between 5:00PM and 9:00PM that evening. Luis called ahead of time and arrived a little before 7:00PM. Luis checked out my system and got everything up and running in about one half hour. He was professional, competent and polite. I am very pleased with Samms service.
Got 3 quotes for a new heater/AC replacement. others quoted 3 ton. Sams quoted 4 ton variable drive for same price range. They got here at 7 am and were done by 7:30 pm. Great friendly people. They are Following up with a quality control inspection and free house cleaning to remove any dust. Super company.

The Samms team just finished the installation of our ground floor central air conditioning system. What a pleasure to work with such prompt, professional and courteous people! They understand that a homeowner is an emotional buyer, not a professional commercial buyer, and were very patient, thorough and considerate throughout the entire process. The system install was first class, and the extra system protections they include with their installs will no doubt give me piece of mind and extra life on the unit. I would highly recommend Samms, and will choose them again if/when my second floor system ever needs replacing.
Matt has been out to repair and service our very old AC units a few times and is always professional and personable. Matt patiently explains what is going on and makes recommendations for service. This time a duct and HVAC specialist, Marcus, was sent out as well to evaluate the need for a new AC unit to replace our 21 year old unit and properly install duct work to be more functional vs the 31 year old builder installation that has never performed well on the second floor. No one has every explained why we could not get the upstairs comfortable in all the bedrooms until Marcus. We have had other companies out to see why these rooms didnt heat and cool properly and no one has had a solution until Marcus did the evaluation. We will be replacing our oldest unit and installing new duct work and are confident that Samms will do a superior job.

Tim S. was my tech and he was very professional and nice. He went beyond the call as he educated me about my system and showed me imaging of the inside. The issue he fixed for me was something that two prior techs from other companies did not see on their visits (and may have caused) and for that, I definitely will be calling Tim from Samms once again. Best AC service experience I have ever had. Karl came out within the hour and had my unit running in 30 minutes. He didnt try and sell me a new unit like other companies do, he fixed the problem. Replaced an old heating/air conditioning system with a new Trane system from Samms! Couldnt have asked for better service. Very responsive company from initial estimate to the final check of the system after installation. Service crew showed up right when they said they would and worked all day while being very careful to keep my home clean as they worked! Weve used Samms twice now. Once for a heating issue and once for AC. Both times the technician who came out was Karl. Im sure everyone is great but were really pleased with Karls service. We had another company come out and tell us we needed a brand new system. Karl came out and plugged something in and told us our air filter was missing. Which we found incredibly odd. Problem solved for $85. He did tell us our system is old and will need to be replaced in the near future most likely but didnt try and push anything on us. The other company thats all they did. Told us there was a ridiculously expensive part that needed to be replaced and that they were embarrassed to even tell us the cost only tried pushing a $17000 system on us. Well never make the mistake of using that other company again. Well gladly recommend Samms and Karl to anyone who needs service. Thank you for the amazing customer service.
Ive had SAMMs come by for a few things recently and each time they were absolutely professional. They are always on-time, very careful about working clean and take the time to fully explain everting they are doing. Their pricing is fair and for the reliable quality, a good value in my opinion. I have been using Samms Heating and Air Conditioning for 3 or 4 years now and they conduct a first class business. I purchased their maintenance agreement and have never regretted it. They come twice a year and maintain my system. Their repairmen are always very friendly. If there is anything wrong they give a detailed explanation showing me the actual part that is a problem, what the function of the part is and whether it has to be replaced right away or not. Their service is top notch!
I had an amazing experience with Samms. My AC wasnt cooling and as we all know Dallas gets HOT in the summer. I called and they sent a technician out the same day. They identified the problem and found the part extremely quickly. The office was very polite and communicated extremely well. I love SAMM’s! They have been maintaining my AC & heating system for years. When it came time for a new unit, Marcus came out for a free quote and not only where they fair on pricing, I really hit the lotto on ensuring that I received the best system for my home, which he then followed through on the entire install.This included duct work, air intake in each room for air flow and the HVAC safety overflow pans, filters & suspensions. They have thought of everything not to mention Luis, Jonathan and Ricardo worked very quickly, professionally, and cleanly- who knew they would cover floors and vacuum when they finished! I am a bit spoiled already with Samm’s and their calls prior to arrival and next day satisfaction calls, but with the install they add safety checks and inspections. After install is complete, and before leaving, Luis walked through their completed job and all of the changes with as well as answer all questions for (even going in the attic with and room to room). Thorough, professional, patient, clean, and courteous, what more could anyone want?!

The service was very professional the technicians were very helpful and courteous. One of the technicians told me it was his first time to install in a mobile home and he still did a great job. The space was limited but the techs were wonderful and installed with ease. I would recommend everyone give Samms a call for their actions and heating needs.
I worked with Matt for a late night call and he was able to come in early morning when I had someone at our business. He communicated clearly with our team, he was able to diagnose the issue and explain it simply so I could understand. Would recommend using this group again.
About 9 PM on 8/10 I noticed the temperature in the house started to creep up. I did the best I could to self-diagnose and realized the outside unit was inoperable. With daily temperatures over 100 degrees I did not want to wait until the next day to resolve whatever caused the malfunction. I called Samms main number and Karl quickly called me back. He explained their services and mentioned the service charge was the same day or night which was pleasantly surprising. Karl arrived in about 30 minutes and promptly diagnosed the issue which was a stopped up drain line causing the unit to shut down to prevent the water from leaking through the roof (that would have been a real mess). He gave me a few repair options and recommendations and offered a discount if I signed up for the annual maintenance program which overall was the best option. Especially considering that the lack of maintenance is primarily what caused my issue in the first place. Karl had us back up and running in no time and the problem resolved before anyone broke a sweat! Hats off, I highly recommend Samms Heating and Air, and of course Karl! Thanks!!
Amber was great on the phone getting me setup as a new customer and getting someone to come out ASAP. Daniel called ahead of time to give an ETA, showed up on time, wore shoe covers in the house and mask over his mouth, and was very personable and professional. He quickly identified the issue and then charged the system to get my system cooling again until the part could be replaced a few days later. Will definitely use Samms again!

Work areas were cleaned as they progressed with each step and more thoroughly at the end of each day. 100% recommend Samms! From start to end, everyone (Amber and Laura at office, Tiffany, Marcus, and Luis and his team) was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. A/C stopped working at the end of July on the hottest days and it turned out it needed to be replaced. Invested in a variable speed A/C unit at $11.6k. No complaints so far.
