Dandy Duct Cleaning

I used Dandy a couple of times. They did an amazing job with my Duct Cleaning work, however, fast forward when I used them again to do some HVAC maintenance cleaning they did not do the work and basically took my money. They are probably great with duct work but do not recommend them for anything else. Candidly if someone doesn’t practice good ethical business I wouldn’t recommend them in general anyways. Will not be using them ever again in the future and recommend to others considering them to stay away as well.

We got scammed by another company for dryer duct cleaning. Technician came out day after I called and was extremely friendly and helpful and completed the job quickly. Will definitely keep them in mind for other jobs.

Please beware of this company, they charged exorbitant price for installation of float switches and when I saw the cover packaging and checked the price online it was a difference of more than $400! They are total frauds and not even BBB accredited! The manager threatened to call the cops on me when I confronted him on the price!Just because I had agreed on the work to be done!! This was on top of the $3k that I paid for air ducts cleaning, Worst company ever!The fact that they lied about the price of the part to a woman and when they got caught, instead of rectifying their mistake, started threatening to call it theft of service and calling the cops makes it totally absurd! The way you are not shying from lying about me being abusive and switching off my unit before leaving says volumes about your organization. Showing a line item with no breakup of parts and labor on your iPad and lying amounts to cheating and is a culpable offense.

After approving the estimate, we scheduled the appointment.Carlos and Juan showed up early, which we really appreciated. They did a thorough job and finished the job on a large house well within the estimated 4~5 hours to complete the job.During the job, Derek showed up to check on the team and to inspect the HVAC for any potential problems. In our case, there is some additional work that should be done. I was happy to see an estimate come in quickly with pictures, recommendations, and an explanation of why the work was needed.This is a first class company and worth every penny! I went online and requested to schedule the HVAC duct & vent cleaning + dryer vent cleaning services. Within 30 seconds I received a call from Colin at Dandy asking what time works, and within 2 hours I already had Dandy people at my house. Both Steve and Derek (business managers) were very thorough in their inspection, and great in terms of working with me on price quotes and explaining which service is a must have and which is a nice to have. After we agreed on the project and price, their service guys came to do the job the same day. They completed everything and left everything clean.A week later I noticed there was a small damage to a hose in the attic, so I reached out to Dandy guys, and they were at my house within the next hour to fix it.I cant thank the Dandy team enough for such a professional and responsive attitude and service. They are professionals who you can trust, which is rare these days. Strongly recommend them and their services!

Didnt have to wait weeks for an appointment; they came 2 days after I called to schedule it. Crew was available 1 hour before scheduled time (instead of 2 hours late like many service companies). They were professional, kept us informed of everything they were doing, and cleaned up when they were done, leaving our house cleaner that it was when they arrived. Not the cheapest service, but remember, you get what you pay for. Definitely recommend them!

I hired dandy services and they did replaced my AC motor fan but they did not do a good installation. After two months the motor fell off. I called them and they came to check now they tell me my AC cover was already cracked. I told them then why did you replaced and charged me a new motor. They should had not installed anything when they came the first time. Now they just tell me that only solution is to replace the whole AC system because the motor is no longer manufactured. They first charged me $1300 usd now they want me to pay $12k for a new AC. This is for sure not a good service and they just want to make the sell. They say on their we site they care and they will treat you as family but for sure that was not the case on my situation. Hope this serves you to make a good decision if you decide to hire them. I asked them either to fix my AC or return my money but they just never replied back.

Everyone has heard the phrase You get what you pay for ... Dandy is not inexpensive, but they do go above and beyond with their services. They were very professional, cleaned up behind their work and provided before and after photos. Derek and William were amazing in every way possible, including courtesy and pride in their work. They came help my dryer vent clog this afternoon. Terrific customer service, extremely knowledgeable Staff, super super satisfied! I really like them because they have the most important thing: business ethic! I would go with Dandy for same service even if other companies offer 50% or more less than Dandy! We were in need of a dryer vent cleaning (or so we thought) so after some googling, I decided to call Dandy Duct Cleaning. The customer service was excellent from the start! Service was scheduled for the very next day. Jeremy was prompt, friendly, did a thorough check of our dryer vent, and was straightforward with what he found. And though we ended up not needing our vent cleaned (hello new dryer!), we will definitely give them a call whenever we do! The work quality not good which I believe mostly due to the tool they used for cleaning. There was a high ceiling duct and I don’t think that was cleaned but the guy said they did it but I couldn’t see anything they had that would make them reach that high. Also I was promised before and after pictures by email and I haven’t got them yet. I went for UV Light system and the system doesn’t look like of build that I paid the price for.

They went above and beyond. Very honest, thoughtful, and respectful. They made special accommodations for timing for us to extend their work day and come late because we had a sleeping baby. I had shopped around and felt that many other places were being shady by suggesting much lower prices with reviews of them saying they charge a lot more after. I never got this feeling at all with Dandy Duct Cleaners, they come off as honest and hardworking. Did a great job and were very informative every step of the way.

High rating for honesty and professionalism! Having seen an inspection report for our home that just sold saying the dryer vent was full of lint, I called to have it cleaned. Recently, I had a service tech come out from Dandy to provide me an estimate for a dryer vent cleaning and lets just say I couldnt be happier with his service.The technician pulled out the dryer and ran his camera in the vent to see if there was any major obstructions only to find out it was in good shape and then found my real problem was a screen that needed to be removed from the dryer vent which was causing the only backup. Amazing service. We had one person come out and when they realized they needed different equipment for the job, they rescheduled us for the next day. The team from Dandy start to finish was unbelievable. The gentleman who did the inspection was knowledgeable and showed us where we needed some repairs. Jeremy showed up on time and set everything up to clean the dryer vent, only to find out it didnt need cleaning. He called me to show me the footage from the camera and then proceeded to put everything back and not charging us a penny. A great honest company whom I will be calling to do complete HVAC vents cleaning.

The customer service I received was excellent. It started from the first phone call to the business. The owner scheduled an appointment for the next business day at noon. The technician called me and sent a text msg the day of to let me know when he was en route. More importantly, he was there on time and waiting on me. The technician was friendly, professional and courteous.My dryer had stopped getting hot and the repair shop suggested that I have the dryer vents cleaned. They told me if the vents werent cleaned I could potentially have the same issue after the dryer was repaired. The tech explained to me that he was going to use a camera to check to see if the vents were clogged or not. He asked me to stay there while he was doing it, in order that I would be able to see exactly what the vents looked like and for transparency in relation to the work order. To my surprise he told me the vents didnt need cleaning and there was no need to perform the job at this time. Naturally, I was pleased but all this came without a service call charge. This is a very HONEST company, and they were more concerned about doing the right thing for me, rather than just trying to get the job and doing unnecessary work. This was quite refreshing from a business where there is lots of competition. I would recommend Dandy Duct Cleaning company to anyone. Reached out to Dandy Ducts a few weeks ago to get an estimate on some services for my home. They were prompt and responsive and gave me a fair estimate. Decided to move forward with dryer vent cleaning. Technician Addison showed up promptly. He explained the process clearly and walked me around my property to show me where my dryer vent exit point was and proceeded to explain to me that the cleaning wasn’t needed as long as there wasn’t any obstructions. He took a look, removed some built up dust and explained how best to maintain on a yearly basis. Really appreciated him and the teams honesty in regards to the work that needed to be performed and the fact that they weren’t focused on nickel and diming for no reason, but rather providing honest services when needed. He cleaned out the clothes dryer vent and checked out the dryer vent. It was fine. He cleaned up and didnt charge me but suggested I check with Maytag about it also since it still was under warranty. Excellent, on time, friendly, helpful, and went beyond what was required to help an 80-year-old widow with her almost new dryer. Will use them again because they do excellent work and do over and beyond whats required. J..E.

Addison came to deal with a clogged dryer vent code in our 7 month old house. I had gone up on the roof a week ago to clean an obvious lint clog on the vent screen. He pulled the dryer out from the wall, ran a camera through the 18 vent vent pipe, no clog. He went up on the roof and found dryer air was not flowing freely. The problem was I had re-installed the vent screen too far back in, which was keeping a flapper door from opening all the way. Addison recommended taking the unneeded vent screen off because the flapper door keeps critters out, and now no screen to clog up. Now get ready for this: no trip charge, no inspection charge, and ... wait for it ... not charge for the repair! Color me impressed. Plus, he and his helper were very knowledgeable, courteous, patient with me poking my nose into what they were doing, and most of all they laughed at my bad jokes. I highly recommend them and their company for dryer vent cleaning. I imagine their AC duct cleaning service would be just peachy, too.

Excellent professional service. Explained the steps they were going to take and shared progress. Cleaned our dryer vent inside and outside. Found unbelievable amount of debris from birds nest and explained how they were going to remove to clear the duct. Amazing how the dryer works now. Very through. Will definitely use again.

This is the best service I have had with a company in a long time. There was actually a miss communication in the price and I was charged wrong. The owner/manger reached out to me and offered to refund the money and make it right. Used this company to clean the dryer vent. Laundry room is in the interior of the house between two garages so the exterior access for the vents is in the roof. Through this service, we learned that vertical blow for lint to escape can cause it to hit the cover on the roof that is meant to keep rain from coming in, but it can actually ricochet back down into the ducts. They were able to get on the roof and clean the vents from the top which is our main source of concern. Id use this service again in a few years!

Dandy Duct Cleaning is honest company with professional staff. I saw their reviews and scheduled appointment for dryer vent cleaning. Addison showed up on time and explained what he is going to do. I called Dandy Duct Cleaning to service my dryer vents. They worked me into there schedule and saw me the same day I called. They were able to clean the duct work for one of my dryers but will return to do the other. That one was a bit tricky and with their help and suggestion I believe we will be able to solve my problem. Services I did - Getting the ducts cleaned (45$ for a vent), Anti-Microbial Cleaning for 260$ and installing RM 2 oxidation unit on my HVAC system for 2000$. I like to thank Reggie and Nola for coming out here and servicing my home today. They both did an awesome job. Special Shout out to Reggie who went above and beyond to take care of the job and paid extra attention to every small detail and made sure the job was 100% good. He also helped us fixing few other issues as well by spending a lot of time out of his way. Cant appreciate him enough.Update: I recently learnt that there are many 5.0 rating companies who will do duct cleaning for much lower cost.

They were very honest and said they could perform a service or show me how to if needed. I agreed to have them proceed but appreciated the honesty that part of the job can be done on our own. The cleaning was fast and effective, no more issues with our dryer or dryer vent.

Very professional and took time to explain everything to us. We had mold- they prefer to call it bacterial growth, that another company cleaned but it came right back and ended up spreading through most of our system. Dandy Duct gave us a great price and quick service to replace several ducts and clean the rest. We had a few hiccups that they responded to quickly and fixed without extra fees. Definitely compare them to other companies. You might pay a little bit more-not much more- but based on my experience, you will get much better quality and honest pricing/assessment. They never tried to add-on.

I called Dandy Duct Cleaning to clean our dryer vents. The serviceman showed up on time, very cheerful, he inspected the vent and told me it was fine, it doesnt need cleaning. He smiled, said something sweet to our dog and was gone.In a world in which everyone is trying to upsell you a product or service I very occasionally meet a scrupulously honest business person who says, I could sell you something but it isnt necessary. He knows I will call him back.

These guys are awesome! Addison Neely, who serviced our dryer vent, was on time, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. Cleaning the vent pipe which extends up through the wall, attic, and venting through the roof was in serious need of cleaning and removal of lint blockages. Addison was finished in less than hour, cleared all of the lint the full length of the pipe (more than 20 feet), repaired the pipe, resulting in the dryer running more efficiently. Highly recommend these folks! The best!!

They are absolutely fantastic. Our dryer was not performing well - had to run loads 2-3 times. They removed an unnecessary booster fan that was causing a bad lint build up, replaced it with duct, and VERY thoroughly cleaned the dryer duct. Our dryer works flawlessly now!

These guys are the real deal. They came out to give us a quote for cleaning our ducts and found that we also needed some other work done. They showed us pictures of what they found in the attic that needed additional work, partly due to city codes changing over the years since our house was built. There was a scheduling error the day the work was being done, so Josh, one of the three owners, drove clear across the metroplex to come take care of it himself. We scheduled the HVAC repair to be done another day and Eric, one of the other owners, came to do the work. Even though on further examination more work needed to be done than originally shown on the quote, they did the additional work and honored the price originally quoted. We found Josh and Eric to be very professional. They do great work and stand by their word. We would definitely use them again. We appreciate that this is a Veteran owned and operated company.

Quick service that was very professional. We were moving into a home that was 14 years old with a clogged dryer vent. Dandy Duct showed up that same evening and got the vent cleaned out so that the Dryer could be hooked up first thing next morning. Excellent service.

On march 23 2023 at 10:12am i called in to dandy air to have to give me a estimate on my air duct cleaning. they said they would have to come out and inspect. so march 29 joshua came out to have a look. told me what i needed, it was about 900.00. i agreed said they can book my for april 5 between 1 and 2. instantly i would have mike silipo coming out. but on april 4 a different person name chris jacobo was texted to me 7:09pm then a carlos munoz at 7:13pm. i knew something was up when different people were assigned to have my service get done. the next day shows up and im waiting for them 1 oclock then 2 oclock. so then i call the office. when i did called i was explaining the situation and rick just rudely interrupts me like he doesnt want to hear what i am saying. ill call you back in 5 minutesokay. then the calls comes in says its going to be 45 minutes to another 1 hour. so im like okay no problem. well time passes believe or not they dont show. so then i call again to tell them to cancel. but when i did that. there was no apology. it was like i dont need your business. i got plenty of it. and then when i text joshua the sales rep that sold it to me. i got no response. i hope that if you use this company, you get better service then i did. i was just look for help, not a hand out

We had some serious problems with our dryer ductwork. These guys got us all fixed up, were very pleasant to work with, and gave us great value in their pricing, considering all the work that had to be done. My wife and I will be using them again. And don’t wait so many years like we did to have you ducts cleaned out! :)

I assume their service is more thorough than others on the market since they bring a huge vacuum into your house. I definitely recommend it for people with lots of pets. They were on time, fast, polite. Ultimately we got cleaner vents but there were some problems with the service overall.1. Lack of understanding about how HVAC works - vents are not reversible and are pointed a specific direction in the room for a reason. Not everyone has the equipment and ability to correct air vents themselves. If you dont, definitely supervise them as they work.2. They only clean the front facing part of the vent, not the back. This seems counter-intuitive to me.3. We were advised drop cloths would be used but there were no drop cloths. Throw old sheets/towels over your furniture ahead of time.4. They didnt speak up about possible problems/concerns. We found a vent screw in our garbage disposal when trying to run the disposal later that evening (no damage done thankfully). I would have much preferred one of them coming forward to say Hey, we lost a screw in the kitchen, please look out for it.

My dryer could not dry my clothes. It could either be clogged vent or dryer gone bad. Great that Dandy Duct offered free service call (free diagnosis). Addison Neely told me it was clogged vent. Duct work is probably fine. Dryer vent duct got smashed up a little when they pushed dryer back. Cant go as far back as was. My persian rug at door entrance got garbled up under machine as they tried to get it through the door. As they were both on outside, I had to stop them lift machine up and pull rug out. There are Nick marks on the side of rug. Not asking for money, just be more careful.

High quality work with very professional staff. The technician wore a mask without having to ask. I had used a bargain duct cleaning service the day prior. Dandy Duct Cleaning (DDC) used a borescope and discovered missed debris in the vent and found ventilation restrictions not identified by the bargain guy. DDC will be my go to cleaning company henceforth, no assumptions or doubts of the work performed. Five stars!
