Ben was pleasant and super competent. When he didn’t have the necessary part on the truck, he went to the store, got the part, came back and finished a complicated job. He fixed our AC. I would highly recommend Chrome.

I would stay as far away from this company as possible. I spent $20,000 on a brand new system with this company and we now have water pouring through our attic/ceiling. I called them to get a service technician to come out to address and fix the issue. The lady on the phone was extremely rude and told me the soonest she would get somebody to my house is two weeks away. we were sold a lifetime warranty with our system on parts and the install as it was purchased through Costco and chrome heating and air did the install. its extremely disappointing when you spend so much money with a company and their lack of service and compassion is next to none. I will never use nor refer chrome, heating and air ever again.

The tech John was knowledgeable, friendly and and professional. Yes. He did not know I was a monthly paying member so he asked me to sign the payment for the service but I corrected his mistake and he went about his way.

Got 2 units installed. They sent a subcontractor. After 3 months found out that they didn’t install the filter and sealed the filter slot. So got them to come back to service the units. They took 3 hours to service since they messed up the wires and the unit refused to power up. It ain’t rocket science.

Actual service was great but office experience definitely needs improvement.

They arrived on time, masked, and ready to get in, get the job done , and get out. Very courteous and respectful and very knowledgeable about my system and the best way to keep it functioning properly. Thanks Ben Kennedy!

Hired chrome to replace a Lennox Thermostat on September 21st, 2022. Visit charge of $275 was promised to be adjusted in actual work the day after but full amount 1189.30 was charged with a promise of refund. Since that day till today no refund is issued despite dozens of calls and promises from Account team. $275 is not a big amount but this unprofessional attitude is what brings a Bad Name to them despite the fact that work done was excellent. Update : A refund is issued after 6 months and 20 days. possibly after posting this review. Again, their work quality is good, but this account management is very unprofessional.

2024: Almost two years later...GAS LEAKAlmost Nine Thousand dollars... not 900, not 90... $9,000!!!!! and a YEAR later its not cooling. Its almost 90 degrees in my home right now!! I shouldnt have to call. I shouldnt have to worry. Sure, things happen and it can get crazy, but honestly, what would you do? How would you feel? How would you react? On their end, why cant someone come out and fix something that could possibly be an emergency? On the freaking-hot-bright side of life, I grew up without A/C in S Texas, so those moments prepared me for this. And the receptionist is pretty cool too. Shes very nice.

Chrome Heating and Air has always been fantastic for my air conditioning service. They are very professional on time and extremely clean when they do their work. Now that they do plumbing I am having them change my water heater. The plumber has been fantastic in working with me and all of the questions I have had. He has really talked through all of my options and we will be able to have a new water heater by the end of the week. I recommend them completely.Update: Still 5 stars! I have had some issues with my heat pump and Chrome has been excellent in working through the problems. They are upfront about what they are doing and give options if possible about ways to fix it. I never hesitate to call them and I will continue to recommend them.

Little confusion with appointment set up as to maintenance vs repair. Chrome office worked with me and still made it out early enough to get me to work on time.Abel was my technician.He was thorough, professional and proactive.I was not aware of a auto-draft maintenance plan offering THREE (total)maintenance checks a year for AC- Heating -Plumbing for a reasonable $12/ mo.I was not aware Chrome had a Plumbing service !Plus discounted pricing on any repairs and/or additional service calls.Today, I added Algae treatment to help flow of condensation going smoothly.This is my second time to use Chrome.Both times I’ve experienced top-shelf techs and communication with the company.***Two pluses:-Careful attention to Customer and their needs- whether it’s in scheduling or repairs.- Chrome does alert customers in a timely way and especially appreciate the personal bio and pic of assigned Technician.Your doing a good service Chrome!I, as a customer, am more trusting of info and pricing, when the Service is good from Receptionist/Dispatcher to Tech.

Dalvin appeared on time, explained the purpose of the inspection, and began his inspection.He completed his examination within 40 minutes and came inside to review the results with me. I do not recommend this company to anyone. They technician that came to us didnt give us a diagnostic nor even a correct assessment of the issue. As soon as I paid $322 that didnt even fix the problem, he left. Soon after, I realized he left some wires exposed so I called the company and asked them to send someone to fix the mess he left. The same technician came back visibly upset and with an attitude. Very rude! Unfortunately, I cannot give them a good review due to me loosing $300+ with them.

Nick Shain serviced our ailing AC unit last year and I was very pleased with his service and level of professionalism. When our unit needed servicing again, I was pleased that he was available to take the call. Once again, I was impressed with his professionalism. In TX, having a trusted HVAC repair technician is as valuable as having a trusted auto mechanic. I trust Nick and will continue to use his services.

Brycen was so awesome and very professional. He helped educate me on my HVAC issues and how to manage my unit until we get it replaced. You wont find a better technician or company. I so appreciate their fast response and responsiveness. They keep you up to date on your appointment and when the technician is on their way out to your home. Just awesome! I hired Chrome Heating and Air Conditioning in 2019 to replace my residential home AC unit. The final costs to replace the AC unit was $10k plus, however for the last 2 years I been having issues with the new unit not maintaining temperature set point. I called Chrome AC and everytime they came out they added Freon to my AC unit. I asked them why the Freon keeps needing refill every few months however Chrome never answered the question. Finally on 16August2021, Chrome presented me with an estimate totalling $1900.00 to replace the evaporator coil that Chrome installed brand new a couple of years ago. So, Chrome AC company installs a bad coil evaporator and charges for it twice. Not a bad business model to get rich quickly. Certainly, not an ethical business and I do not recommend to other hard working home owners like myself.

Emergency heat not working during recent cold spell. Josh quickly determined a programing error on the air handler and now all three heat strips are functional. Great job.
