Just used On the Spot HVAC to replace all our thermostats. They did a great job. Prompt and very good communication. Technician was Aaron Sangalang and he was very professional and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend this company.

Heat wasnt working so we had a larger firm come out who normally works on our units. Quote seemed high so wanted a second opinion but needed it quick because its December and we need heat. Aaron was at our home in a few hours the same day I called. Diagnosed the problem and determined we were quoted for two parts that were unnecessary to fix the problem. Larger firm said it would be almost 5 days before parts were in and it could be fixed. Aaron was out the very next morning with part in hand and we had heat working again. Saved me 3 days with no heat and over $1,000 in unnecessary parts. Larger firm is fired. Aaron is my guy now!

It takes a lot for me to give a negative review. After two years, it is time.1st issues - after spending thousands on a new system, these things happened.A. had to call them back out to cover an entire edge of a duct that was on the far side of the system (guess they thought I would not go up and check), while also waiting 3 weeks for them to come a fix a foot long scratch they made on the ceiling in my living room.B. Both in early summer 22 and 23 had to take my wife and baby to a hotel for multiple nights due to the compressor (on a brand new unit?) going bad. Yes, this happened TWICE.Fast-forward to now. After two years of my bills being HIGHER the last two years than the previous 4, after installing an all-new HVAC, I finally decided to investigate further. I just assumed with the two hot summers and rising costs, it was just unfortunate. However, after going in attic and looking everything over (yes, I should have done all this before, I admit. I guess you just figure HVAC people know what they are doing) I discover MULTIPLE (8-10 spots) leakages of cool air coming both from poorly sealed ducts and from poorly sealed aluminum at the actual box itself.If you really look at it, it is simply thin gauge aluminum, formed together into a box, screwed together, and sealed with Matic sealant and maybe some tape. I could instruct an 8 year old to put it together and seal it. However, either due to the laziness of the crew, or more specifically, the laziness or lack of oversight by the management, it was simply SHODDY WORK, AT BEST.So, I go and purchase sealant and a brush and decide to crawl around on the wood, insulation and dirt, sweating my a$$ off, and doing the SIMPLE job that these guys at On the Spot air would not do, all trying to save energy and my money from being released into the hot attic, instead of being contained in a proper HVAC circulation system.All I heard from the guy who sold this to me was how he was so cocky about the 5 star reviews they had. Get the eff outta here with that.I took 15-20 pics, and have attached just a few of those.I still have to go back up there and try to make my way to other parts of the system that are hard to get to, just to see what other shortcuts they made.

Well, the 5 star reviews are for real! My 23 year old system died on a Fri evening. I searched for quotes online and happened to see an ad for On The Spot HVAC on Instagram. Received 4 quotes and dug a little deeper. The reviews for On The Spot were so good it was hard to believe but decided to ask for a quote. Cody came by Monday and looked over my old HVAC system and gave us a few recommendations on how to improve system performance when a new one is installed, but no pressure to make a decision. Their price was very competitive and the Trane system offered was what we wanted so we accepted their offer.We were without AC for 6 days and even though On The Spot was busy they rearranged their schedule and installed our new Trane system a day early, and they did it all in 3 hours including adding 5 new air ducts. Matt and his team did a great job installing and cleaning up afterwards. It is hard to imagine doing the total job so quickly but they worked efficiently and made it happen. We could not be more pleased. The new system is exactly what was promised and works great and Matt wrapped things up by helping connect the new WiFi thermostat to our phones. We are are very pleased with the equipment and service and highly recommend On The Spot HVAC. Photos of our old and new system are below.

This is our 4th attempt with a local A/C Contractor to diagnose the problem with our A/C system that we had been struggling with, for a whole year now. And On The Spot HVAC guys were able to fix it. Doyle was able to send a team the same day I called for help. Jordan was very thorough and methodical in his approach to detect the problem. Our TRANE system was still under warranty so once he diagnosed the problem he clearly explained what options we have. In my case, their quote for repair was quite fair and once I okayed the option he was able to quickly get the parts from TRANE and within few days returned to our place to replace the components. He spent a solid two hours to go step-by-step to replace and recalibrate our system to a fully functional state. I waited for a whole month before posting this review. Im thoroughly impressed by their work and commitment to excellent customer satisfaction. It is very tough these days to find a reliable contractor for A/C systems. I learned it the hard way as I tried with three different companies before them. On the Spot guys earned their reputation and respect.

It turned out that we discovered an issue with our duct work (unrelated to On The Spot) that we were unaware of. His team came out immediately and addressed it. Start to Finish 5 STAR SERVICE! I received 7 other bids on replacing my entire system as it was 17 years old. I got a flyer from ValPack and on a whim decided to get one more bid because I was having doubts over the previous group I thought I had thought I had elected. Cody received my request and immediately contacted me and came and visited me on Monday morning. He went over all my options, extremely low key and informative and before he left, I knew I had FINALLY found the company I was looking for to replace my system. Cody was always responsive and provided me every bit of information. It was installed today and his crew is EXCEPTIONAL. They are extremely detailed oriented and FAST. They were in by 7 am (as I was promised) and finished by 1 and I had a big job!PLEASE do yourself a favor and call Cody. I have had a lot of experience with contractors and this is the best group I have EVER seen hands down! Dont waste your time calling others and falling for their sleezy sales tactics. This is one of the most exceptional businesses of any type I’ve had the pleasure of working with. I’m visiting my elderly parents from out-of-state and their a/c broke on a 103° day. I called late in the evening and they answered (which surprised me) and then offered to have a technician out by 10 the next morning. The tech was incredibly competent and good at communicating issues. He gave a very fair assessment of the HVAC system and had it back up and running within an hour.Their prices are unquestionably fair and they clearly treat every customer with care and respect. I couldn’t imagine doing business with anybody else in the metroplex. They took a stressful and dangerous situation and resolved it in the best possible way. Amazing experience!

My units were getting old and after shopping around I was given a great deal by these guys. They came exactly as scheduled with an eight man crew and installed all three units in five hrs. No joke! They took care to protect our floors and cleaned up everything afterwards like they were never there. Amazing job by some serious pros. The new units are awesome as seen in the pic. We had a maintenance done by On The Spot HVAC, Jordan was great wearing shoe protectors and ensuring all systems are heating as they should!

Financing was super smooth and install was smooth too, full turnkey Trane XR16 5ton system w/gas heater. Came out the next day and installed it all. Arrived on time and txt notifications were spot on. Shout outs to Carlos & Patrick for good technical responses and cust service skills. Rest of big crew was friendly and polite. 5hrs for removal and replacement of indoor&outdoor units. Ductwork taped/zipped/supported well, tidy install but small amt of scraps to cleanup in attic. Outside unit/install very clean & professional. Outside unit much quieter than 40y.o r-22 compressor (72db vs. 60db) at nearest window. They added addtl return intake, and added manual dampers to each trunk line(nice!). Im not 100% sure if they are supposed to follow-up with me in a few days or i evaluate system and then if i have a problem i contact them. I need to test gas-heater for sure to make sure no probs. An Owner post-install checklist would be helpful. Indoor unit doesnt blow as much air through vents now so inside is quieter but seems to take much longer to cool house down compared to 40y.o system. In fact its been running for 3hrs thus far..got to 80 quick but had a real hard time getting down to 78..and its 84deg outside right now. Shooting for 76 as a test but seems to just bounce around 77. After 4hrs of never stopping it touched 76 but wife stepped out to get mail and immediately back to 77 even as system was still running. Not great. I have a 1979 leaky ranch house (2550 sq.ft., North Texas) so im going see if they will come back and adjust the fan speed higher if possible, otherwise cold air leaks out too fast to get house really cold i think. If this units variable-speed fan cannot run faster/flow more air then you might consider getting the XR15 system instead as i think its a single speed fan so maybe flows more air for older leaky homes. I did many leak fixes a few years ago, but im not sure this XR16 unit would be able to keep house at 80 w/o them. I guess its possible a duct is loose that i missed during my inspection, or it blew off post-install, so ill go back up there and check again tonight. Ill also adjust/experiment with the dampers(some room returns are 72deg and others 58deg) over the next week and if i can get fan motor to flow/push more air Im probably good..but better efficiency doesnt help if it needs to run 2x longer. But system is so quiet now i guess ill never know how much its running till the electric bill comes :) Actually TraneHome App looks comparable to the Sensi App, so i can probably monitor daily runtimes compared to my old system to gauge how different my electric bill will be. When it gets back to 100+deg next month that will be the true test on whether this new system was a good choice for us. If i can update this review later i will post any additional info.

They were on time and did a great job. Installed a new thermostat, edit it to the app, and then connected my old thermostats that theyre still in use to the app.

We had an issue with one of our units not working properly. On The Spot was the third company to come out to fix the issue and they were the first to identify the real culprit, a wiring issue. While here, they also recommended I replace my older compressor and were very detailed on the reasons why, and I trusted them. The quote for the new unit was very reasonably priced. They got us on the schedule quickly and completed the work in a very timely manner. The new unit seems to be working much better and our upstairs is much more comfortable now. Plus, I dont have to worry about it dying in the middle of summer. Biggest plus is Ive found an HVAC company I can trust, which has proven to be very difficult. 100% recommend this company.

The team was very punctual on arrival, gave me plenty of options to consider and answered each of my questions carefully. We discussed making a couple of system upgrades to the HVAC duct work and return registers which would in turn assist the new system in working more productively and (hopefully) more efficient. Though I havent received my first utility billing since installing the new system, it is MUCH quieter and is not pulling a hard vacuum inside the home causing doors to slam like the previous system. So far, we are very pleased with the comfort level and how quick the house cools once the system is engaged. Hoping for similar results in July-August.

I had to replace 2 AC units and after comparing companies that I saw recommendations for on Next Door, I went with On the Spot HVAC. They were extremely competitive with their pricing and they didnt try to over-sell. Everyone was so knowledgeable from the guys that came out to give me the quote, to the guys that did the install and they explained everything very clearly and answered every question I had. Not only that, but the other closest bid I had received said it would take a day or possibly a little more than a day to do the job. On the Spot completed the job in a little over 3 hours from the time they arrived until they had cleaned everything up. Truly incredible. They also included a 10 year warranty (parts AND labor), which was additional cost on the other bids. I HIGHLY recommend On the Spot Air Conditioning & Heating!!!

Not impressed, showed up quick but they only wanted to sell me an overpriced new system. I know my AC is old but should have know when they ask the age of the system before the problems I am having and then two guys and two trucks showed up they were only there for a the repair call and not even going to try to fix my system. The sales (not repairman) guy said he was sourcing a part but never called back to say they found it or not. They did quote me $15500 for a new system, would post that quote but not 12 hours after they left they killed the quote link. Seems they were only looking to make a quick buck and run.My company has a lot of commercial stores and my boss has over 30 rental properties so I know how much a new system costs and getting one for a 1/3 of the On The Spot price. Good luck and don’t overpay these guys or other ac places.

I made a call on the hottest day of the year, 106. On The Spot was at my house within an hour and found a wire outside that was chewed from a rat. They fixed the problem immediately and I was up and running again.The guys were so nice and knowledgable. Great service!!!

Before the job began, Cody patiently explained to me what the job would cover, how much it would cost, and how long it would take. He was true to his word. Derrick was great but I am very disappointed that the capacitor was bad . I paid $3200.00 in Februrary to fix and replace bad parts on my lennox hvac that was less than 3 years old to learn that the capacitor was bad again . Now I have well over $17,000.00 in this top of the line a/c .

Just had my entire HVAC system replaced by On the Spot. Do your homework like I did and you will end up with Cody and his team. Of all HVAC companies I considered ( 7 or 8) his proposal was the most comprehensive and still easiest to read. He came to my house on his day off and was able to answer my numerous questions and had great communication throughout. His team showed up right on time and the installation was a breeze. HVAC systems are expensive so shop around but make sure to include Cody and his team. You will be happy you did.

This is my first google review because I have to share my experience. One of my air conditioners died and tripped my fuse box. The first company that came out gave me a ridiculous quote to replace parts of the air conditioner and an even more ridiculous price to replace the whole unit. After two more ridiculous “ball park” replacement quotes there was Cody. He gave me an exact amount, the pricing beat all three “ball park” quotes by far. BY FAR!! I confirmed with him at 5 p.m, his crew was out first thing the very next morning. His crew was professional and fast, changed my unit inside and out and the exact price he quoted is what I paid, including a nest. Which he personally came to set up and put online. If you do not want to be taken advantage of and excellent service is what you are looking for, look no further.

Patrick and Aaron are AWESOME! They have a wealth of knowledge and put me at ease with my AC unit servicing. We spoke about preventative measures and they took the time to explain the mechanics of several different components of the heating/cooling system in my home.

Aaron was very helpful in explaining the issues with my system once he had a chance to check it. Gave me quotes for all the options from minor repairs to patch it, recommended ones for a more reliable fix, and so on all the way to ideal solution. 5/9/2024 - Second/recent review...another great experience with On the Spot! Had an issue, sent a service request last night and they showed up at 8am next day. Fixed the issue, cold air blowing and done in 30 minutes! Complete pros and thanks to Jordan for getting this fixed, keeping the mud outside and for being a total pro!Recommend these guys over all others!I have used On the Spot AC multiple times with absolute professional and quality work! They installed a complete new AC/Furnace unit for me one year ago with great service - in and out when they said, covered the floors and their shoes and made sure it was blowing ice cold before they left! Just recently had them service a different unit and they were very responsive, especially in the blazing heat. Fixed my problem, gave me advice on preventative maintenance and this was quick and complete! I highly recommend them!

Cody responded to call of AC not working promptly. Technicians gave upfront pricing and diagnostics was accurate. Since they carry most parts in the van, the bad contactor was replaces immediately under warranty, where I didnt have to worry about any paperwork.

I had a semi annual system check the other day and the technicians, Ryan and Jordan, were knowledgeable, professional and friendly and are always a pleasure to work with. On the Spot helped us replace an American Standard system installed by Classic Heating and Cooling that broke within just 5 years. When we found that the company that installed it did not register the system for the 10-year warranty and they were also unwilling to help us fix the machine, I looked for a Trane authorized dealer in the area and called On the Spot. They were fast to respond and replaced the problematic outdoor unit immediately at a good price. Unfortunately, more issues came up within a months time with our cooling system - the whole system had to be replaced in the end. Again, Codys crew did it in a timely manner and at a reasonable price. They also sent us registration for the manufacturer warranty through email very quickly. I highly recommend Cody and his team!

We had an air conditioner stop working a couple nights ago. Several neighbors recommended On the Spot Air Conditioning & Heating, but it wasn’t an emergency, so I waited until the next morning to call. Cody had Aaron and Patrick at our house in about two hours. Awesome guys. Troubleshooting, they found a coil had failed in the outside unit. Long story short, Lennox no longer stocks that part. Needed a solution that would be better than waiting several weeks for a part to be manufactured. Ugh. Cody stepped up with a solution that didn’t kill us monetarily, while putting a new Trane in place of the failed Lennox. Misa installed it the same day as I agreed to the numbers.Our air is cold, the Trane is quiet, and our boys can sleep in their own beds again. Thanks to everyone at On the Spot for their professional, courteous, and absolute timely response.

The reason I did business with On The Spot was painful. We just bought a house, and somehow, severe issues with our HVAC ductwork escaped the inspectors attention. So when we decided to get one new return added to accommodate a bathroom remodel, the AC guy discovered an entire attic full of deteriorating, improperly installed ductwork. After getting a few quotes to fix the issues, we chose On The Spot and have no regrets. Although there were some minor communication issues on the day of the work, part of that was because we were having other work done on the house at the same time, so there was some confusion about what was happening. Overall, though, they were pretty clean, and delivered excellent value on an unexpected, large, and expensive project. It looks like there is some trash from the old stuff still in my attic, but I think thats just a minor oversight, not left intentionally. We will definitely be using On The Spot as our HVAC company for the foreseeable future!

I scheduled an appointment with this company first thing in the morning for 6:30 PM the same day. The price quoted was acceptable, and I specifically asked if there would be any additional fees for an evening appointment. They assured me there would be none.However, just two hours before the scheduled time, their technician texted to ask if he could come by two hours early, stating that otherwise, there would be a $149 after-hours callout fee. This was frustrating because I had been explicitly told there would be no extra charges for the evening appointment. When I called to discuss this, the company was unsympathetic and unhelpful, leaving me feeling like I had wasted the day and missed the opportunity to find another service provider.

We had On the Spot HVAC install a new heating and A/C system in our home. Every employee of this company was very knowledgeable and willing to answer our question before the work was started. On the day of installation I had some questions regarding the products being installed at our home. I receive a call back from the owner Cody with answers to all my question. We were told that the dampers would have to be adjusted 2-3 days after install. Some of the rooms were very cool and others were warm. Cody and one of his lead techs Brian came back to the house and made all the needed adjustments. Now the house is cooler than it has ever been. The highly experienced On The Spot AC 2 man advance team educated us on the various unit & cost options available to us (as well as bldg. code issues since were updating a 15-year old R22 system on the 2nd floor of a 40 year old house), patiently spending extra time answering all my wifes questions, and did not pressure us to close the deal. Instead they said call if youre interested. We checked out several other firms and decided On The Spots price was right, especially given the 10 year transferable labor wnty. The installation team arrived on-time to install a new 3-ton system (internal & external units, new duct work in the attic plus an additional 12 of insulation) in less than 4 1/2 hours! And when they were done, it looked like they were never here (see wife smile!). The companys QA inspection team arrived to check the installation work within 30 minutes of completion. Well be using them again for our downstairs unit when replacement time arrives.

Stay away from this company. They tricked me into replacing the ac circuit board even though the issue was with the contactor. Here’s my story.My AC stopped working and my google nest thermostat gave me an e103 error code. When I looked up the code, online research mentioned that the Contactor had to be replaced to get the ac compressor fan working. So I called this company to get it fixed. Aaron and Patrick showed up and after some investigation told me that my AC circuit board was fried and had to be replaced. I insisted we start with replacing the contactor but Patrick said that the Contactor is fine and that the circuit board has to be replaced. I agreed what they mentioned and let them change the circuit board. They came a week later and Aaron replaced the board. Then I noticed Patrick going outside to work on the compressor fan, but I didn’t think much of it. After he returned and turned on the AC, it started working. When I asked Aaron if everything was good, he said that he replaced the board and it started working. I paid them and they left. I was still trying to figure out what Patrick did outside if it was just the Board that needed replacement and so I called Aaron asking him what work did Patrick do. He said that he messed up the wiring while replacing the board and it shorted the contactor and so Patrick replaced it for free. I have never had anyone fix anything for free and not tell me. That is when I realized that I had been conned. What a convenient coincidence that he fried the contactor which was the original issue that my thermostat pointed to. And he didn’t even mention it to me while I was making the payment which clearly shows that either they are incompetent and refuse to accept, it or they knew the issue and conned me. Either way this company shouldn’t be in business. If you do the mistake of calling them, make sure to get a second opinion before paying $960 like me.Update based on the response from company:Firstly, the contactor was never shorted but it had gone bad. And if the technician really replaced it for free, why didn’t he mention that when I asked him if everything went well replacing the circuit board? If things had happened the way the technician described, then he would have made sure to mention that while I was making the payment. Clearly the technician was hiding something.

Every single employee we have had the pleasure of having in our home has been courteous, professional, and prompt. I have never had an AC company that comes the same day you call them. They even come and change your filters for free as often as you need when you get a whole system replacement for the first year! We love On The Spot! Our system was original to the house and required a complete change out. Cody came to the house and was very personal and professional. He took the time to talk to me about questions that I had. The day of installation went as smooth as it could go. Everyone showed up on time, the replaced both systems in our attic and outside in less than 5 hours. Ryan was great at explaining what was going on with our unit and was able to install our Smart Thermostat quickly. They were backed up due to emergency installs but we’re very good at communicating updates for arrival. I Would definitely use them again. Prices were reasonable as well.

Fraud/Scam/tried to take advantage of my while my 5 year old AC was not working with temperatures over 100. On the Spot showed up and said the unit I have was undersize and installed improperly. I was told that long list of parts that were failing/failed that were under warranty. Good, right? I was told I only needed to pay for labor… $3200 for 3 hours of work. I passed and got another company to come out and we went through the system together and found none of the issues reported. What we did find was a frayed wire on temp sensor. Mended the wire and everything started working and properly cooling once powered back up. Either they didn’t want to do the work or they are committing fraud. There are other reviews with almost identical stories. Go with anyone but On the Spot. Adding another comment here. I got the system up and running myself after this garbage dump of a company left. I’ve reviewed all of the technical specifications and it is clear that these guys are either incompetent or committing fraud. Unfortunately people are in a place to be taken advantage of when desperate.

I think that Cody and his team did a great job on installing our new 3 1/2 ton Trane AC / heating system. After getting several quotes he gave me the best deal in getting a new system including all new air ducts at a reasonable price. Cody and his team were right on time. They were due to show up at 8 in the morning and by noon they were already finished. The only thing that I really didnt like much is that in my hallway I got a couple of small cracks where maybe someone stepped wrong in the Attic. They did repair this but the repair was not very neat. They just basically put some kind of caulking to hide the crack. This was very minor compared to the great service we were given. I do have to say overall for the money the system they gave me along with the new Nest thermostat which I love has so far been excellent. Because I dont have a lot of money they made something that was very stressful to me a lot less painful. Cody and his team were on point. In other words no grass grew into their feet. They were up and running and did a clean neat job! If I ever needed anything as far as AC or heating I wouldnt hesitate to call Cody and his team. I am very pleased.

We bought a new Trane XR17 HVAC system from OnTheSpot, and we were pleased with the price. It is not the highest SEER system, but it seems like a sweet spot -- initial price versus operating costs. They also installed a new thermostat and additional air return duct for better system efficiency. Cody was very responsive in answering my questions. His team actually arrived a few minutes early. They were very efficient and they were careful with our furnishings. Afterward, the project manager and I went went into that attic and he explained everything. He also showed me how to operate the wifi-enabled thermostat. I cant speak to the quality of the system yet. That said, Trane has a good reputation, and I am hopeful that my electricity bills will reflect the value of the upgrade. We highly recommend On The Spot.

I usually wait a while b4 giving reviews to make sure everything goes well after the service.Last December, my wife and I, decided, to replace our HVAC units. A 5 & 3 ton. We had several companies quote. Not only was Cody the most reasonable price wise, by quite a bit, he was the most informative. He was very descriptive in explaining the pros/cons of our options. We ended up with a quality Lennox system. The summer was great. Had zero issues keeping our large open floor plan cool. Plus, our a/c bill went down significantly from the prior year.

Cody walked me through thermostat registration and was more than happy to answer all my questions. The team even made my 3 year old son, who can be quite shy, feel comfortable.

Best HVAC company in DFW. I received quotes from 5 different companies for the replacement of our unit. We needed new HVAC. These guys were extremely competitive. I was concerned about whether the quality of equipment or work might be lacking since the pricing was lower than other companies. They were super knowledgeable and very honest about the pros and cons of other options. After reading all the 5-star reviews and based on my conversations with their team we moved forward with On The Spot. I could not be happier!!! Just had my full system replaced by On The Spot. Cody was great to work with. I typically don’t trust 99% of contractors, But I didn’t have a reason to not trust him or his crew. Seemed very straight forward and honest. Very happy I just pulled the trigger and bought a new system. Our old one was 18 years old and still working... but for how long?!? And would run for long periods of time to keep the house 76-77. This new unit runs much less at 74 inside. I have no doubts I could call in with any type of issue and they’d be here “on the spot”. :-)

On the coldest weekend of the year we moved into our new home and desperately needed a new ac/heating system ASAP! I spent a solid 18 months researching options to do a full replacement of my upstairs and downstairs HVAC system. After about 8 estimates I narrowed it down to 2 companies. On The Spot wasnt the least inexpensive, but I felt their tech was very thorough with flow calculations for the additional duct work and vents we needed. After enough estimates, you get a sense of who is trying to do a quality job vs who is trying to figure out your budget and sell you a quick swap competing on price alone. Both on the spot and the other company came out very close on their recommended solution, and there was only a few hundred difference on price. However, Cody made the difference as he patiently answered my never ending questions about reliability and warranty differences between brands. We ended up going with Trane, but i appreciated On the Spot didnt push me towards that decision. Cody reiterated that the installation and upkeep matters far more than the brand, and I trusted they would do a solid job. The other company used contracted installers, and I just didnt have the same comfort level. On The Spot showed up with a huge crew, and they had new ductwork along with 2 full systems in 2 different attics replaced and tested in under 4 hours. Very very professional top to bottom! They protected floors, cleaned up well, delivered on everything they committed to, and Cody did a final walk through to confirm everything flowed well. Cody and his crew are really just as the name says, on the spot. He has had fantastic communication with us throughout the process. He was prompt with getting us a quote to replace our evaporative coil and set us up with a replacement the next day. He showed up twice to check in on his crew and make sure the repairs were completed properly. He then had them return the next day to top off the refrigerant and recharge the system. Which he followed up on to make sure our system was now working properly. Our AC is working like a charm now, actually cool, and isnt running constantly trying to keep up now that its been fixed. It has been extremely difficult to find reliable, efficient, and communicative vendors and Im happy to add On The Spot to our trusted list!

I know a bit about what the installation should look like and it looks very good. Mastic was used on all connections. The duct work is organized unlike some jobs that I have seen. The compressor outside is level.Bonus: I had my retired AC neighbor come over and ask questions when the bid was being done. He thought that the On The Spot sales manager checked off all the boxes. I very much trust my neighbor as he always talks about “best practices”.

On the Spot came through for me again. On the first day when it hit 90 degrees in early May, my downstairs system was not cooling anymore. After calling in, Aaron came by and diagnosed my system. Unfortunately, it was my condensor fan motor that went out. Luckily, the part was still covered under warranty and I just had to cover the labor cost since it was after 2 years since the install. After the part came in, Aaron and Patrick came back and did a great job installing the new motor and answering all my questions. Soon after, cool air was flowing through the home again.

I had a full system installed including ductwork in late 2019. All was well untill last year (2022) when I had water drip into bedroom ceiling. I made sure drains were clear and damp area did not return, so I thought all was good. Wrong!! The problem returned this year, and I checked a little deeper.Turns out the unit was not installed level and water drains off the back of the drain pan! The entire unit is saturated in areas never meant to get wet!On the Spot sent a tech, and initially I was told they would come the next day to level the unit and possibly replace saturated insulation.As a side note, I am a professional remodeler andIve referred several of my clients for both repair or replacement.Big surprise, nobody comes and no calls.I finally got a response from the tech who said they changed their mind because it was 3+ yrs after install.Im sorry, but incorrect installation is STILL incorrect, even if I didnt catch you at it!I will NOT be referring this company in the future - right is right and wrong is wrong.

Yes, I was sceptical......After speaking with him, I knew we had the right company doing the work. I don’t know what to say except RUNAWAY!! After contacting them to come check our brand new system they installed a year and half ago. We noticed there’s dripping under the unit (still under warranty) . The technician informed us that since it’s under warranty we won’t have to pay for parts but we have to pay for labor and that will cost $3500 for a three hour job. My husband proceeded to ask the technician if they can give us a written estimate, to our shock the technician Ryan turned away and went running for the door without giving us an excuse because we were still talking. I don’t know how to read that except for that they are unprofessional, no respect for their client. Those units cost us thirteen thousand and to be treated like that is so unacceptable. I will never use On The Spot Hvac.

On The Spot HVAC is definitely a first rate company with outstanding customer service. Our upstairs A/C unit basically went belly up due to a substantial leak (roughly 18 yr old evaporator coil), and after obtaining a few repair/replacement quotes & getting the full court press from each of those companies, we received a referral to On The Spot. In no time, Cody arrived at our house, completed a thorough and very polite & informative evaluation of our situation, and provided a quote with significantly better/lower pricing than the other companies offered....for a much better product than the other companies offered....and he didn’t pressure us to make an immediate decision like the other companies did. At that point, though, it was a “no brainer”. Cody was able to work us in the following day, and his team was nothing short of fantastic. They were all extremely courteous and careful, taking precautions to protect our carpet, walls, etc.. They installed a complete, brand new upstairs unit in less than 3 hours (including the new furnace/coil/etc. in the attic, and new condenser outside), and they were very thorough with cleaning up after themselves once the job was completed. Our furnace was on a steady decline and ultimately stopped working days before a winter storm and very cold weather were expected in Dallas, TX. Cody (the owner) was able to quote a cost to replace the furnace over the phone on a Friday afternoon and had his crew at our house by Sunday afternoon. Luckily, as snow was falling on Sunday, Cody and his team replaced our furnace with a new one (in about 2-3 hours) along with a new thermostat and we had warm air! Prior to speaking with Cody we did get two other quotes that were $800 to $1,000 more expensive for the same furnace installation. Even with installing the furnace on Sunday, Cody honored the price he quoted on the Friday before. Plan on using On the Spot for A/C tune ups coming this spring and would highly recommend as a service provider.

I found this company here on Nextdoor and ended up buying the system that was advertised for $6500. I was very impressed with the speed and quality of the communication from everyone there.During the initial examination of my previous HVAC and house, they offered solutions for problem areas in many of the rooms and explained why Id been having general cooling issues due to mismatched interior and exterior units, something 3 other HVAC companies, including the one that had been servicing the old one for almost 10 years neglected to either notice or bring to my attention.Once they helped me arrange financing through Wells Fargo and scheduled the installation date, everything ran on rails from there. The installation was *fast*, about 3.5 hours, to pull the old system pieces from inside and out, demo the old outdoor slab, and install everything.
