I recently had an energy audit done by Ron Rivera from Efficient Home Solutions, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Ron was professional, thorough, and extremely helpful in identifying the cause of my excess gas usage. He took the time to carefully inspect every aspect of my home’s energy efficiency, explaining his findings in a clear and detailed manner. His expertise and attention to detail made a huge difference in understanding the issue. David is simply the best! I’ve never seen someone go to the lengths he has to give us such personal service. Our outside unit & evaporator coils in the attic needed replacing. He presented 3 different options & did such a great job explaining the difference between the 3. The day of installation, he came over to check on the installers & I told him about another issue we were having with the breaker box. He took time to teach me a little about electricity. Meanwhile, our attic stairs were broken & he gave me instructions on how to get those fixed, recommending a certain kind that would last longer. And finally, we were outside with Matthew, a great EHS technician, discussing a possible solution to an idiosyncrasy of our house, when he saw my lemon tree in a pot outside, & told me about his. David even gave me instructions that could help me have success in growing lemons! All in all, it was a great day, & now we have moved into the present century with our new digital thermometer that can be controlled remotely. We are thrilled & so thankful for David & the solid, friendly, very skilled people who work for him!

I bought my current townhome about a year ago and did a total remodel. One of the last things I did was my attic. Efficient Homes Solutions did a nice job removing 22 years of stinky insulation which had rodent droppings throughout, sanitizing the entire area, sealing all openings where critters could enter and reinstalled all new insulation including over my garage area which did not have any. I had one little glitch and David Rivera, the owner, personally came out reviewed with me and sent his guys out and immediately took care of things. I highly recommend this company. It is nice to deal with a company that is so professional and still knows what good customer means!

They completely took advantage of my 82 year old mother by charging her over 5 times what it would cost to repair her heater. The repair stopped working the same day and the technician had to come out multiple times and could not answer any questions on why it was not working. I personally met with both David and Ben and they were rude and shouted and also told me to hush when speaking. They also fraudulently charged a service fee to my mom’s credit card when she never provided them a credit card number. Their explanation was an automated phone system because she was a repeat customer. None of the explanations made any sense. How can you charge a credit card if it is not provided? They keep your information for their benefit.

EXCELLENT experience from start to finish. Both David and Jordan came to our house for an estimate the same day we called to schedule an appointment. Thereafter, they were extremely thorough in explaining everything and giving recommendations / options. They took the time to explain everything to our satisfaction, and address all questions / concerns we had. They scheduled the installation of our HVAC system for the house (2 units) and did it all in ONE DAY!!! We couldnt believe it. They arrived around 9am and were done by 3:45pm. Additionally, they took the time to setup and ensure the thermostats and corresponding apps were accessible, and ready to use for us. It was close to 90 degrees F and very hot in the house, but once the new units kicked in, the ENTIRE house (2 stories) was cooled down to 72 degrees within 90 minutes. Were exceedingly satisfied with their customer service, and excited to find out that Jordan will be our technician to respond to all future maintenance and repair calls. We definitely recommend Efficient Home Solutions to all looking for HVAC services, and hope youre lucky enough to also get Jordan and David to help out.

So happy with the fantastic service received from Jordan Pool for the Winter checkup of my HVAC system last week. As part of the maintenance plan I purchased last Spring/Summer when I bought a new outdoor unit, having these checkups twice yearly ensures my HVAC is ready for any season. I very much appreciate Jordan’s knowledge on smart thermostats, as I have considered getting one installed to better manage cooling of my house during these hot Texas summers. Efficient Home Solutions is the best!

After having a not so good experience with another AC company, David and Matthew at Efficient Home Solutions came to the rescue. David was quick to respond to my call and went above and beyond to find a solution and get our entire unit up and running again! They were out fixing the problem in less than 24hrs. Both David and Matthew(technician) were amazing with not only their knowledge but customer service, honesty and over all demeanor. I will definitely be recommending them and using them for our future home upgrades as they do so much more than Air Conditioning!

Great experience! An energy audit pointed out several areas needing attention. They added more air returns, removed and replaced insulation, added sofit vents and 3 whirly birds. Too early to know impacts to my utility bill. I do know that they tripled the R rating in my attic.

So pleased with the prompt response, transparent repair and friendly technician who came out and got or AC up and running today. Everyone in Texas will experience the dread of what to do when it’s 100 degrees and your house won’t cool. With Efficient Home Solutions our family will sleep comfortably knowing the repairs are done right. I contacted the company because I’ve had a serious problem with heavy dust in my home for years, and I wanted to solve it. The owner, David Rivera, came with one other and did a detailed assessment of my home and my system, with full understanding of my main issue: dust. After evaluation, they determined a series of actions that they assured me would rid my home of this issue. It was a costly solution, but they seemed professional at that time (before performing the work). I trusted their expertise and advice.After the $15,000 investment on my part, there was no reduction of the dust. One of their solutions was to sanitize the attic after removing and cleaning and replacing filters and systems. Weeks after their work was completed, we found old, dirty filters from previous work discarded on the floor of the attic, disputing any possible “sanitation” efforts. Vents were left moldy or clogged with old dog hair. I gave it time, and the dust problem never resolved itself. I contacted the company multiple times to give them the chance to remedy the result. Once they cashed our check, they were not as responsive. Suddenly they were not the experts they had claimed, knowing full well why they were hired. They were interested in offering excuses and not in solving any problems. Additionally, I paid above and beyond the initial quote to enhance delivery to a vent in one of the rooms, and there was no change whatsoever after their work. In my bedroom, after all of this work had been performed, I still have to use my overhead fan with 2 desktop fans in order to cool the room. I asked for them to refund part of the huge sum I spent, but they refused. $15,000 later, nothing in my home has improved even subtly.I would not recommend this company.

We initially called to move our air return to prevent whistling in one room. David came out and patiently explained how adding returns in others rooms would solve that problem, and increase the total system efficiency. It obviously worked because on this 106* day, we have over 30* differential, and previously never went above 25*. We’ve had Mark out for a check up and a refrigerant leak, and he has always been helpful in explaining what is needed.

We have just had a great experience.We were having what we thought was a clogged drain line with our AC. The Tech came out and after testing he found the problem was not with the drain line but one of our bathroom sinks. He took care of it right away. All is good. And everything is running like it’s brand new.

Had Efficient Home Solutions come out to review my attic. Suspected the attic ladder wasn’t sealed well, and that this was responsible for some of the excess humidity on my third floor.EHS quoted me for an attic tent, to work around the bad attic ladder seal. I paid the deposit, got a tentative schedule… only for EHS’s installers to decide that the job was “too small” and they weren’t going to do it.Worse, nobody ever actually reached back out to inform me that the job wasn’t going to be done, they just didn’t show up. It wasn’t until I called and complained that I was promised a refund.

My new air conditioner is truly a work of art! I obtained several proposals and while most of them were within a few percentage points of each other in terms of cost, I chose Efficient Home Solutions. There were several reasons. First, David took the time to show me the math about my CFM airflow problem. I have been short about 800 CFM all these years and its probably why my other unit wore out after 12 years. I got a 5 ton Lennox unit and David explained the differences between it and a comparable Trane (which I had previously installed). I think having a local company with access to parts in the future was a great reason to pick Lennox. The unit is a beast. Secondly, David brought his installation manager who carefully inspected my attic space and location of new return ducts. No one else brought theirs. This made a big difference because there would be no question as to what would work space-wise or not. Third, David also answered all my questions professionally and even explained many details I hadnt thought of (nor did any other service provider). I really like my Nest control and this unit cools within 40 seconds, and after 2 minutes, its freezing! The family room is facing the hot west sun and now we cant even tell its hot outside. I highly recommend them!

Very satisfied with EHS work in servicing 2 of my 3 A/C units and replacing the third. Matthew went over the condition of the serviced units thoroughly, and put together a quote for replacing the 4 ton unit that was attractive enough for me to go ahead directly. The install team arrived 3 days later and had the new unit working in just over 2 hours. 4 stars instead of 5 only because the servicing documentation is inadequate. Matthew showed me the data he recorded but I would much prefer to have a list of tests and results for my own records.

When EHS came to the house to audit our home energy use and make recommendations to improve energy efficiency, I was very skeptical. I was concerned that it would be a solution that was very expensive and then it wouldnt really do much to make the house more comfortable during the sizzling summer months. I am happy to report to anyone reading this that I was wrong. The recommendation was to add a couple of additional return air vents to supply more air to our existing system and to add additional blown in insulation. The cost was affordable and I can honestly tell you that even on the 100+ days, I can now keep my 4,000 ft. two story home at our preferred temps. You can trust EHS and David to treat you right. A real customer more than satisfied.

This past week, as the temperature went from a comfortable 70° to a sudden 90°, our home became unbearably hot due to AC issues. Its been 5 years since the original review of my Lennox Signature system install and I still think this is a 5 star system.Since the installation Ive used EHS maintenance contract to provide Spring/Fall checkups and the service has been great. I like my service tech Matthew. He is very knowledgeable about my system. Also, I like that EHS tries to send the same tech for all service calls on my system.My original review from 2019 is below.In October 2019 Efficient Home Solutions (EHS) installed a new Lennox Signature Collection Gas Heat (SLP98UH), Condenser (XC25-036), iComfort S30 smart thermostat, iHarmony Zoning System, and a PureAir S system in our home. Additionally, EHS added more insulation to the attic and completely replaced our air duct system adding air return vents in each room (excluding kitchen and bathrooms) to support the iHarmony Zoning System. Since the installation EHS has also provided all the routine and non-routine maintenance needed.The installation was very well organized and it was completed without a hitch. The analysis of our house and it’s cooling, heating, air purification needs were detailed, specific and met our needs perfectly. The system is very quiet does its job unobtrusively.I am VERY satisfied with the performance of the entire system and the subsequent support and maintenance provided by the EHS team. All personnel are professional, courteous and results oriented.And finally, my gas heating and electric cooling bills are still substantially lower today versus the system we replaced; even after the regular utility rate increases since installation.I highly recommend Efficient Home Solutions and Lennox systems.

They constantly subcontract out labor to less experienced crews that aren’t even employees of EHS. The work is subpar with the contractors and can never answer questions or concerns with the language barrier with the subcontracted crews.My worry is my warranty work even legal or to standards. Even after a compressor change they don’t verify work from contractors and it still is super loud when running.

I purchased my HVAC system from EHS in 2012. And I have always had it under a maintenance contract from them as well. While I’ve had some repairs in the past, my technician Matthew gave it a clean bill of health. He was very thorough and that’s always good news. He went above and beyond and vacuumed my return grill. Matthew was very knowledgeable about both residential and commercial systems. I highly recommend them for annual heating and cooling maintenance.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST! As a Veteran of The United States Marine Corp, we were taught Honesty and Integrity are values we are to exhibit at all times, sadly this company does not have either of these two traits. Seven years ago, I purchased a brand new Rheem A.C. unit from EHS (Efficient Home Solutions) and every year since, I’ve had to have it repaired. Again, last night this unit failed for the second time this year for the same part they just repaired. I called EHS last night for their “24/7 Emergency Service Call” that they advertise on their website, and was told by the owner David, that they couldn’t help me tonight; that the best they could do is 11AM-1PM the following day. After telling him of all the problems over the past seven years, his only comment was, “Well parts fail.”I had to call another company out to fix the problem and they came out in less than an hour and fixed the problem. The contacter EHS installed failed and the new company tech suspects that it was due to EHS’s poor installation. One of the wires was more than likely loose and caused the wire to burn up. Seven years ago, the first tech EHS sent out was not very competent, and I requested another tech. They then sent out a tech named Michael. This technician was fantastic and every subsequent service call, I would only request him. Sadly, a few years ago he left the company, and this company has gone downhill in blinding speed. Please do yourself a favor and AVOID doing business with this company! They sold me a Lemon and I may have to seek legal counsel to see if I have any recourse. EHS should do what’s right and replace this entire unit, but I doubt they will do that!

Overall, it was a pretty good experience, 4.5 stars but I’ll round up. Jordan definitely delivered what was promised, and Olaya was really good helping me coordinate install times and such. Carlos, the furnace installer, was also very good and friendly, efficient as well. So we’re the insulation guys, but I didn’t catch their names.

Bought a new 5 ton a/C system and less than 2 years the evaporator core failed! They wanted $2650 to reinstall the part. Pathetic they couldnt own up to selling a defective unit!I would recommend Xtreme Air for your a/c solutions. They installed for $800 less!

Due to the loss of my existing HVAC service provider, I took the referral of a fellow REALTOR and began using Roques services at Efficient Home Solutions. Roque was at my home several times in 2023 to service or repair our package unit system.In November, we had Roque evaluate our gas heater that wouldnt stay lit. Upon completing his evaluation, he informed us that the computer board needed replacing; there was no mention of any other condition problems with the unit. Roque was back at our house to install the board, and upon completing the work, he started up the system, which worked; we were happy to have it back, but unfortunately, minutes later, the unit caught on fire and filled the house with smoke.After further evaluation of the system, Roque informed my spouse and me that he spoke with the owner of his company and, for liability purposes, they were walking away from the job and would be refunding all of the money we paid. This was a startling action to us, given that there were no previous indications that our system was at a point of being inoperable or, in their words, condemned. Upon seeking a better understanding, Roque explained to us several different ways that they did not want any money to be exchanged for the repair, including the price of the computer board, as they didnt want the liability of the unit catching our home on fire. We asked questions to confirm our understanding; there was no misunderstanding on our part of Roques message, as surprising as it was to us.As he was packing up, I asked him what we were supposed to do since they were abounding the job. His recommendation was to have another company out if we wished. Still, he recommended not operating the system, which was unsafe due to its condition from prior repairs by other companies, a factor that didnt seem to be of concern before. Given the situation seemed severe, as our unit was twelve years old and had prior problems (I dont recommend Carrier package units), I asked if they would provide us with a bid to replace the system; he said the owner, David Rivera, would be in touch with a bid.We contacted other companies for replacement bids, and Efficient Home Solutions was the highest bid. We chose to use another company with a better price and could install the unit sooner as wed already gone weeks without an operating heater.After not receiving a reimbursement, I contacted David. On a conference call, Roque changed his story and denied telling both of us that they would fully refund our money, suggesting we werent being logical to expect a full refund. On this call, we were told that we would have received full credit if we had used them to replace our system, which was not previously disclosed nor referenced on the bid. This interaction seems manipulative and dishonest, as we fully understood the previous conversation with Roque at our house, and it left us questioning his honesty and the companys integrity in honoring their word.Given everything, we received partial reimbursement from David, but it fell short of fulfilling what we were told and expected, not an amount we agreed upon, but what David decided to return. In the end, when the system was replaced, the cause of the fire was discovered; the intake to the unit became dislodged or breached, and debris was sucked into the unit. It seems that Roque didnt fully evaluate the cause of the fire as it wasnt related to prior repairs, yet another disappointment; perhaps the system was repairable after all.In good faith, I can never recommend Roque or Efficient Home Solutions. Its easy to have great reviews when there are no problems, but a testament to a companys values and character is how it handles situations that reflect poorly on them.

They came down for a free insulation quote but they instantly noticed other problems with my A/C. (Which I had 2 other technicians from other companies come and diagnose, but could not fix the problem). So I ended up asking for a Service Call for my A/C since they were already here and knew what they were talking about, and sure enough, they saw I was missing 2 pounds of refrigerant and topped it off. Now, after a year of living here with the A/C struggling to keep the house cool, it finally, for the first time COOLS my house quickly and isnt on all day! I did not end up going forward with the insulation project, but did sign up to be on their A/C subscription maintenance because they were the only ones who actually helped. Thanks again guys!

I called Efficient Home Solutions when our Air Conditioner stopped working. They were able to send a repair person out the same day and they sent Mark who we had last time. Mark is a great service person he checked in as to what the issue was before he just went and looked at the Air Conditioner. Once he found the issue he came and went over it with me and luckily her had the part and was able to get our Air Conditioner working the same day. I would recommend Efficient Home Solutions and Mark to others that need Air Conditioner work done.

I would honestly give a 0 if it was possible. 3 days ago, my AC stopped working. I called in and made an appointment for a tech to inspect. Technician arrived 2 hours later than the time slot that was given only to tell me unit frozen, turn off overnight and he would be back at 9:00am the next morning. Technician arrived at 3:00pm which is hardly close to 9:00am. Trying to be understanding due to extreme heat, I was sincere and paid the $645 bill for freon (technician said it just needed 4 lbs of freon to fix). Today my house still isnt cooling so I sent a text to the technician, and he asked me to go outside and inspect pipe. I have attached a picture showing the frozen pipe PLUS the copper piping that was left hanging from the unit. I called and spoke to the owner, he agreed to refund my money but not fix the negligence that was left by his technician. On top of all this, I paid for a maintenance call back in April only to find out that my filter that I paid for separately was left sitting in my attic not attached to the unit. I have rescheduled and lost appointments with several clients this week due to this companys inadequate ability to troubleshoot and fix my concerns. Now I have to find another company and be put on the waiting list and go through this all again. Dont waste your time with this company or you will potentially be put in this same situation!

David and Jordan came out and spent a good amount of time looking our place over and offering their advice. They were very thorough. They came early, which was great!We recieved a few other quotes. One company I was playing phone tag with. One came out, but was not as thorough and tried to sell us on something that was unnecessary.I liked that this company has multiple ways to communicate with them: phone, text, email. Its not always convenient to talk on the phone on a workday.Dara in the office was thorough, diligent, friendly and worked hard to get us on the schedule that worked with our schedule.The work was done clean, on time, just as they promised.We had an issue with our AC later.They have an after hours line that called us back within 15 minutes. Jordan was out the next day. Again, on time!I would certainly recommend this company and if needed I will contact them for my HVAC needs.

I ignored previous reviews from others and called them for service but I wasted my $500 and I have no AC at home. I called them because my AC stopped blowing cold air. Technician came and just measured freon outside. He just filled Freon and didnt bother to inspect in Attic even after asking for leak check. He said that I will have to pay $150 for dye and he will come later to check. AC started working and next morning, it stopped again. I called the company and then 2 people came and he said that Freon level has gone down again and then he visually inspected AC coil in the attic and gave me an estimate of $4500 to replace AC coil. My 500 got wasted and when I called the company then a person called David spoke to me rudely that they were supposed to fill Freon only and not look at anything in attic without paying $150 for dye. I would not recommend this company. Hire someone else or you will repent later. They wont do the inspection but they will try to cover up and give you a huge estimate later.

Our Air Conditioner kept going out and had severe problems. We have a 93 year old sweet lady living at the house. It was around 100 degrees outside. We needed the air conditioner to consistently function.I telephone Efficient Home Solutions on a Sunday during the Labar Day Holiday weekend.They were so nice and so professional. Our AC went out, and we had called another company to check it out (same company that had installed our previous system 17 years ago but now under new ownership), and we were not too impressed with the salesperson who seemed quick to sell us on a new HVAC system. We were about to go with him, however, but I gave EHS a chance to see what they offered, and my husband and I were much more impressed with our sales guy, Rocky, who took his time explaining the product, which he seems to understand well, and could answer our questions, and more. He was not pushy and kept his commitment to time, quality of workmanship, and inspection of the job. We are part of a program that gives a free service call once a year, but the 15 minute repair cost us $280 to blow a line clear, which is well above what I would consider reasonable. Used to get good service here. June and July had tech out to check AC as it was not cooling the house no matter what we did. June visit, there was a switch that they flipped, said they’d call back tomorrow and make sure that was working. No call. July AC wouldn’t kick on at all, house was 98 by end of the day appointment. When the air kicked on was asked if I felt like it was cooling, I stated that any air felt cool since we’d been without on a 106 temp day with no AC. Honestly no idea what he did while here that day. Another week of thermostat set at 70 and it reaching almost 87-90 daily, called another company we’ve never used.They sent a SR. Tech, first appointment of the day. Within 20 minutes he found a fuse that was not blown, but “toasty” and needed replaced… and 3lbs low on coolant. How did this company not check coolant, not once, but 2x? I’m no professional but seems it should be one of the first things checked. Home ac unit stopped cooling, EHS was listed as an authorized RHEEM dealer so I scheduled a service call. Technician Ben came and diagnosed the issue to be capacitor failure and quoted total cost would be $400.I declined the repair and paid the service call fees of $149, I wanted to shop around. Capacitor sticker was ripped off by the tech which would help identify the type of capacitor, I am disappointed by this behavior. There is no reason for him to take of any stickers from my system that provide the technical specifications. I will not use them again.

Efficient Home Solutions was extremely accommodating to get everything arranged, set up and installed within 3 days in the middle of a heat wave. David and Ben were especially diligent in making sure the house was prepared and arranged for our full AC/Furnace replace and Attic insulation work and were on-hand to ensure that our house looked like noone had ever been there. The house was spotless after installing the furnace, insulation, and all of the additional vent work! I have been very happy with working with these guys. I called them out earlier in the summer when the system was operating at low efficiency. They took a look, gathered enough information to make a good diagnosis without doing tests that theyd have to charge me for, and made a recommendation. They werent necessarily the cheapest bid (though everyone bids different products so you can never have an apples-to-apples comparison), but I felt that it was the best bid, based on the professionalism of the staff and the apparent quality of the system they suggested. There was no sales pressure at the time, just a recommendation to consider.Fast forward two months, and a different part of the system unexpectedly fails. They came back out promptly, took a look, and gave the honest diagnosis - the part is fixable, but itd be $1200 and with a 12-year old system it just didnt seem like a logical step. They offered me a good price on the same system they had recommended before and we scheduled for the very next day.The install crew was also very professional and good. They worked quickly and were easy to work with, even being willing to let me go to work with the house locked up and give me a call when they were ready to come in and do the thermostat and testing (our attic access is in the garage). Efficient Home Solutions has a philosophy of replacing new virtually everything involved in the system, simply because its better to replace it now, even if its a few hundred extra dollars, than to run into continual challenges as little components fail every few years. They gave me good recommendations, even on things that fall outside their business model, and even on things that they could make money doing for me but that I could do for cheaper elsewhere.They offered me a wealth of financing options, and were honest that theres no such thing as zero interest financing, except that they as a company would be willing to eat the interest themselves if I paid a certain amount down, which we did. The financing process was quick and easy and will be very convenient for me.I recommend these guys for a quality job!

Efficient Home Solutions recently installed a replacement A/C system for our home. We were familiar with the company because they had come to our home on twice in the past to perform repair our original A/C system that finally gave out. We were impressed with their professionalism on those occasions, and they quoted us the lowest price for the new A/C system.They arrived on the promised day and time, and we were charged the price we were quoted in advance. The system is working very well, especially compared with the 15-year-old A/C it replaced. An inspector with the City of Frisco who came out to approve the job said everything about their installation looked great, both in the attic and the outside the house where the new compressor was installed. Efficient worked on my AC on A Friday, added Freon and ran dye to determine if there was a leak-$500The following week ac was not cooling so called them back out. They came and saw the leak was on the coil in the inside unit. Coils needed replacing. I was told they would call next morning about when they could get part and price. I had to call them back and then at 5pm they finally called. I was told it would be $1600 to replace the coils. Then they went on to say they needed all the money before they would even order the parts! Disgusting customer service, pay for work before it’s done? Hell no. Had the work done by another AC contractor with in 24 hours.Do not do business with this business!!!

When my 20 year old air conditioning units started to challenge the lawn mower to see who was louder, my daunting adventure began. I had to have entire HVAC systems replaced but which brand? which contractor? do they have good financing program? any gimmicks? BBB rating? good reviews/bad reviews? real reviews/fake reviews? any good references? and so on… After extensive research on several reputable contractors, I interviewed 6 of them and received estimates. I made apple-to-apple comparison and had decided to go with “Efficient Home Solutions” (their estimate was not the lowest). To make the story short, they did fantastic job from the start to the finish. 2 great gentlemen (David and Rocky) showed excellent professionalism, were always willing to answer all my questions and fulfilled all the picky requests in timely manner with BIG smile. We called this company to come look at why our air conditioner was running but not cooling the home. My mother asked if they had senior citizen discount which unfortunately they did not. My mother decided to proceed with them anyway due to really needing repair for herself and a 4 year old child that resides in the home. Upon inspection, it was determined thermostat was not sending signal to condenser. The thermostat was replaced and refrigerant was added due to being slightly low. Fast forward 1 month later same issue is occurring and house is not cooling. We make another call for this company to come back out and my mother is told there will be a service charge and that maybe the cause is there is a refrigerant leak. Well if you were out to repair an air conditioner you should be checking that when you come. Also, if someone is having the same issue one month later, the repair should be considered part of the same service call as any legitimate company would do. How incredibly hard to believe a company would not care about an elderly person and child with no air conditioning. The company proceeded to defend why they were charging another service fee. Anyway, I suggest staying away from this company.

Was referred to EHS by the guys at 343 Inspection (highly recommend for home inspections by the way) and they delivered. Came out Thursday evening to give me an estimate on replacing my 34 year old heating system. Super fair and honest. Explained all options to me clearly, gave me a good education on HVAC, and even showed me all the major issues my system had. Installers were out the next morning and had everything installed and back up running in under 4hrs. Guys were super professional and took good care of my home. Total replacement of 2 high efficiency furnaces and AC units, ductwork, removal of rock wool insulation and replacement with r60 at our request.David was great to work with on our redesign and upgrades of our HVAC. He spent all the time I asked to make sure we would get what we wanted out of the project. We ended up rezoning the AC units and added appropriate returns and supply to make sure everything would work as expected.HVAC crews were some of the most professional and cleanest I have ever dealt. They were thorough in their work and even impressed the city inspector. They were able to complete all the work in a few days and made sure we were not without climate control. They were respectful of our home and made sure we were all right with any site changes to the plan. Everything about them screams professional.We now have two top tier Dave Lennox systems that provide a 3-5 mile per hour breeze through out home at all times. Even with running the fan more, we are seeing a 30-35% energy savings in summer and winter so far. The house smells so fresh and is so comfortable.The insulation team did a fantastic job of removing the old Rockwool and then when the time came for the new insulation were able to get the 3100 square foot house completed in a single day. I recently purchased a 100 year old home with very poor insulation. David’s team was by far the best quote for having insulation blown into the attic— the crew was professional and clean and got my job done very quickly. We came home to 2 AC units that were dead. We called a couple of companies for quotes but just did not get a good feeling. I called EHS at 8pm to set an appointment for the next day. A live person answered the phone and said we have someone close finishing a job, he will be there soon. At 9pm Michael O showed up. He looked, listened, and gave us a quote that we though was fair. We confirmed the deal the following morning. By the end of that day the units were installed...BUT...in the process something slid off the plywood in the attic and we now had a hole in our ceiling 25 feet above the floor. The installer said he would take care of it. I was skeptical but tired and happy to have working air so I just said OK. The following day we got a call from a repair man, he came out and fixed the hole. The paint gut came out and painted. The next morning you could tell the paint was a different color. We called Michael, he said I will take care of it. The next day a painter came out and painted the entire ceiling so the repair was invisible.The company took great care of our new AC units, but even more impressive was the way that they took care of things when something went wrong. I was happy with this company until a few days ago, that a technician came to check my AC, since it was struggling keeping the temperature inside. He just came to connect the manifold to the unit and told me that the system needed freon. He says, probably needs a couple of pounds and I said, Ok, lets do it. At the end he said it was 3 pounds without weighing the can before and after the charge was made. I dont know how he said it was 3 pounds of freon without showing me on the scale.Then he charged me $89 just for the visit, without checking anything else, or check any other part of the system. Additionally to that, he said, you probably has a leak in your system, and asked him, what do they do to find out that, he told me, we use dye that we inject to the system, and that was another $250. Totally i Paid more that $750 dollars to them.Last year the tech I had he was very sincere but this guy never showed me it was 3 pounds of freon.

For the last 45 days we have been down to one air conditioner cooling the downstairs of our two story home in Allen, Texas. During the recent 100 degree heat wave my teenage girls have been sleeping on the couch and love seat as upstairs temperatures averaged 88 -90 degrees F. When our down stairs unit’s compressor went out two days ago - I knew I couldn’t afford to get the work done and would be persona nongarata with the family. The first night was just awful and I was bracing for the worse. On night two, I called David Rivera who attends my church. I explained my lack of funds and asked him to see what he could do for budgeting purposes only. That night we made a styrofoam AC unit based on YouTube video. It was a great distraction and we took turns lying in front of it until the ice melted two hours later. Thankfully, Dave had gone to work locating a used 4 ton compressor. By 9:30 am his team was on the job and the downstairs was cool by 11:30 am. As an encore performance Dave’s team changed out a valve that was clogged and the downstairs unit started right up. On a previous inspection a different company didn’t want to attempt this and said it was better just to replace the coil for an arm and a leg. Dave’s team got both units up and running for a fraction of the price I was expecting and provided me with financing. Words can’t express how grateful we areto David Rivera and his team at Efficient Home Solutions. They really came through for us!

Came to our home last year. Our AC Unit kept shutting off on its own. The tech determined it was a bad switch with he quickly bypassed. He could have charged us a few hundred for a new one but gave us the option to save us some money on an already old unit. He provided great advice. Was on time. David -- the president of Efficient Home Solutions -- gave me an estimate to replace our old AC unit and coil. WOW. I learned so much about heating and cooling. Most companies come in and only tell me what I need fixed and I am forced to trust them on the spot. David made sure that I understood WHY I need certain things fixed. For example, based on standard HVAC sizing requirements... I need a 5-ton AC unit. My house has a 4-ton and that is one reason the master bedroom is always so hot. I also learned that HVAC systems need air to return to the system. My house does not have enough ducts to return the air to my current system. (I didnt even know that was a thing and no one has ever tried to educate me on this.) My electricity bill has been insanely high and now I see why! It all makes sense and I know when the old unit is replaced my electricity bill is going to drop dramatically. Understanding the why made me instantly trust David and made a huge difference in purchasing a new system with Efficient Home Solutions.

We were having work done our our house ( painting etc) one of the workers tapping in a nail hit the ac copper line by mistake forcing us to lose freon and make a weekend call to this company to come repair. The technician did call and prior to arrival without seeing damage quoted one price. (700-750). Ive never had a company do this before, I figured that perhaps they did it as a scare tactic not to come? When getting here, again, without climbing a ladder to see what was wrong he looked up and said, oh Im going to charge you $600.00 for labor then $279.00 for 3 lbs of freon and because I think you need 4.1 lbs of freon itll be an additional $65.00 per pound. Although hard to swallow, we agreed. Then the tech proceeded to mumble that he had to get on a ladder and he was getting to old to carry a ladder. Then, when husband spoke to tech to find out if he had a price sheet so we could see what the astronomical fee being charged detailed out to be... and what charges were etc.Then he told him we could get a discount if we bought a service agreement, so we agreed thinking we could at least get a break and gain a service in return. WELL... when I signed final bill, i asked if 15 % discount was reflected, he said, yes, the math I did clearly did not show a discount. Ultimately, the tech had a bad attitude, didnt want to be here and perhaps that was part of my rub, in a service industry I would expect more. Be wary of this company. Get all ITEMIZED items upfront.#lessonlearned

Three ducts were not blowing air and multiple people have looked at it before and couldnt figure out. EHS send two guys who were real experts and they quickly figured out a misconfiguration done during installation and fixed the air flow. AC Compressor blew out at 4pm on a hot day. Called up Efficient Home Solutions, they had a guy (Michael) there by 7:15pm. Very friendly and diagnosed the problem quickly. Full compressor replacement is always a pain, but they got someone out there that night, who came to *start* the install at 10:30pm. He worked til 12:30am and left only when the house was blowing nice and cold. And no after hour fees. Service doesnt get any better than that. Highly recommend these guys.

I happily give EHS the highest rating. My AC went out on a Friday afternoon the day before my daughters graduation party. I called EHS, a real person answered the phone. The tech arrived exactly on time. He was very courteous and very professional, and quickly diagnosed the problem. Unfortunately, mine wasnt a cheap fix. However, they got it done that day. And, by that day I mean, they brought the parts and put my system back together at 1:30 AM! Thats right. They worked until the middle of the night, and my system worked perfectly for the party. EHS was everything you want in a service company, and they delivered a top-quality product. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Efficient Home Solutions was the saving grace for our home in this hot summer! This was the first summer in our new house and we learned not only that the AC unit and furnace were too small but also that the original owners made a garage conversion that wasn’t fully connected to the HVAC system! David made recommendations to put in additional ducting/venting that has made a world of difference to air circulation and helped us pick AC/furnaces that were both efficient and didn’t break the bank. My A/C is only 2.5 years old and have had another AC company work on it now 3 times. I was so mad and HOT on Sunday as it was broken yet again, I decided to call EHS based on my Google search for another company. They spoke to me immediately to be sure of the issue and had some viable concerns I could ruim my coils based on what it was doing (the coils are not less than 6 months old!!!) They sent out a great technician, Philip Guthrie.. He was awesome.. Very friendly, super nice to my dogs and immediately found the problem. Sadly, I have yet another part that has failed and he is on his way to fix it this morning. However, he did get the AC working and the house cooled down nicely so I could actually sleep last night.. Charged me $325 for a guy to come out and replace the capacitor in 15 minutes.Less than 2 months later and the unit is broken again. They gave me a folder with a card that said 24 Hour Emergency Services - No Extra Charge. I call the line and I just get a message taken. They came out promptly the next morning.It turns out the part was bad and they came out and replaced it free of charge. GREAT SERVICE!

The service I received and the attention to details cannot go without say. David Rivera with Efficient Home Solutions and his crew, Michael Oonk is one of the best in the business.1) Last year spring 2014 I went ahead and purchased the AC and Heating inspection. It was the best thing I ever did, because for years my wife and I went with a home warranty company, which I wont mentioned and they only fix visual issues, but not the issues so for years I didn’t know if I was getting the service I needed. Michael came out and inspected 2 units thoroughly and after the inspection I needed a few items, but did mentioned about an old York (1998) condenser I have and to keep an eye on it. The information he shared with me was something I feared as well...it’s OLD. After Michael cleaned everything up I felt my AC really cold for the first time. I mean it was cooling the house before, but not like this.2) It is now early December 2014 and as part of the package I bought back in April I had a call from Michael to follow up with our furnace inspection. As I mentioned before regarding with the Home Warranty company we use to use for our heating service inspection that Michael pointed out some serious issues I was have having with the units in the attic. I told Michael that I wanted him to inspect head to toe and tell me everything that was going on that he saw. Let’s just say it wasn’t good news, but I wanted to know. Michael was very honest and said I could do this or I could do that, but the whole time I was asking him what if this happens if I did this and for how long it will last if I don’t so something. I had rusting in the furnaces, I had gaps in seals all over the place, which I was sucking in attic air. No wonder my wife and I couldn’t get the dust problem in order and so much out dated codes. He left me with some serious things to think about, but I felt great that I finally had someone took their time and inspected out items.3) David Rivera came back a week later with Michael Oong and shared the inspection report with me and if I had any concerns. So we started going over everything on the report that Michael gave and if I had any questions. I know I have original 1998 products my 2 furnaces were 1998, I had one outside condenser the York is 1998, and one coil 1998. After a week of thinking it out well I told them it was time to update and was looking forward to see how much I would save on power usage. I went with a new Trane condenser, 1 new coil, and 2 Rheem furnaces. The order was placed and in a couple of days they were at my house installing everything in ONE day. It was done so professionally, they cleaned up behind them very nicely like they were never there. I felt heat like I never felt heat in my house before. So I can’t wait to see how much I’m going to save this summer comes around.4) To top it off, no pun intended, I also got the attic tent to keep any wasted drat from sucking into the attic. Now my upstairs actually retains heat and does not feel drafty at all. Who would’ve thought with something so small to upgrade would do that…an attic tent. Again, can’t wait for summer to see the savings. I can’t say enough in what David Rivera and Michael has done for us. I am impressed by your integrity and honesty and true diligence in making us happy campers.Thank you so very much, you can be assured that I will continue to highly recommend Efficient Home Solutions to others. We bought our house as new construction and for 11 years our master bedroom was hot...didnt matter summer or winter it was always uncomfortable. Then our AC started leaking and we knew we had to replace it. We met David and the guys at the Allen Home Show. They were an absolute Blessing! Not only do we have a brand new AC/Heating Unit, but although we were prepared to spend alot of money on radiant barriers and other things to take care of our attic, hopefully to cool down our bedroom, David showed us how extra insulation, roof spinners and an extra return air vent would accomplish what we wanted for alot less money. Do not use this company . Big promises with no answers after they get your money .See attached email to owner . No response !!!!!I get the idea and feeling that you are not wanting to help me with my HVAC issues. You were quick to point out that this was some elses problem in the very beginning. I did not disagree with that statement . My issue is you have on two different times promised a call back. On Monday 7-16-2018 and Monday the 23 of July i left a message and also spoke with you . On both calls i was promised a return phone call, during that week The 2nd time i left a message with Amanda to have you call me .So now, its been almost two weeks since i left messages, with not a peep from you or Art about what your plan B is going to be. At this rate with your non -responses, the summer will be over before anything gets done .My other curiosity, is how quick you were to show and describe the condensation issue, and by adding the return line and re-calibration of the units. This would supposedly solve this problem.. This is why you showed me a video .So basically ,whatever was done on invoice # 17345, has done zero to alleviate any of my HVAC concerns. You also mentioned that you would be trying to get the Trane field rep involved . You would think you would give me an update on this status of this as well.My main concern when i called you on 7/9/2018 was the air flow and high temperature in my grandsons room ( just one unit).I realize this is high season for you, but do you just not get back to a customer . You are the owner of the company ,so i would have expected more from you personally .At this time my wife does want anyone from EHS back to our house for any reason .What i do want is a full refund of my $1,485 due to your non responsiveness and misrepresentation of the facts .
