Chino was awesome! Our heating went out yesterday and we were able to get on schedule this morning. He came and did his due diligence and found that one of the thermostat wires had shifted, our emergency heat mode hadn’t been wired in and that our high voltage wires were loose.He addressed all of this in about 2 hours and was polite, professional and very thorough in explaining things.

What a delight to have a knowledgeable and personable technician, Jackson, come and fix our AC problem. He was thorough in checking out the system , took time to make sure I understood what was needed and might be helpful and did all that was needed in a timely manner. And he was on time if not early! Definitely 5 star service from Jackson.

Had an issue with our heat pump. Austin AC sent out Mauricio to diagnose / repair and he was awesome. Very knowledgeable, took time to properly diagnose, explained the issues, and was very courteous. On top of that he is ex-military and we are so thankful for his service and commitment to his profession.

Saul was amazing and saved us. Our heater suddenly broke in the middle of winter, with our child at home. He squeezed us in on the same day and thoroughly examined and fixed the issue. Chino was very professional and knowledgeable. He quickly discerned the cause of the power failure to one of the units. Then he recommended replacement of some electrical equipment that was not properly sized for the system during construction. He also recommended some upgrades to address potential long term wear issues. I’m glad to have Chino to consult for future maintenance on the HVAC system.

We have had an annual service contract with Austin Air for many years and truly feel that it has kept our unit running smoothly. Our fall/winter check-up today was completed by Jackson. Jackson was the most detailed service technician with whom we have ever had the pleasure of working. He was thorough and showed us pictures of what needed to be completed to keep our unit running at best capacity. Fast and efficient!

11/22/2024 Today Hector came for my inspection. He found some things over looked like the damper control not on letting fresh air in to the house periodically that keeps it fresh and humidity out. THANK YOU HECTOR! And he made a suggestion to think about which was to have an ultra violet light inside my unit in the attic to keep the mold and yick , ( yes I saw it , black mold) out of the machinery and one to help purify. Costs but in the long run the house and unit will run so much better and the air will be much cleaner. Hector was very friendly and professional and I really appreciated his suggestions and the things he pointed out. I got the ultra violet light so no more mold growing. Love the company and really liked Hector.. thanks t hanks THANKS! Their booking department is great also when it comes time for appointments and maintenance. EXCELLENT!!

I called Austin AC for my annual inspection. The lady that helped me over the phone was very helpful walking me through my options and scheduling the visit. Before the scheduled visit, the second-floor heating unit stopped working, so I called them to let them know. On the day of the scheduled visit, I received confirmation texts for the appointment. About 30 minutes before the appointment, I received a call from the technician. He was very polite and showed up on time. I also received a text from Austin AC with a photo of the technician with his name. In todays scam world, that was a process that eased any concerns one would have when answering the door. Ricardo arrived and introduced himself, places boot covers over his work boots before entering. He went over what he knew about the work, which was exactly what I had told the young lady on the phone, so I knew these guys communicate and prepare well for the job. I showed Ricardo where the attic access was, and he took over from there. He replaced the gas ignitor, to repair the problem and inspected both units. He cleaned up the area, retaped some insulation tape on the duct work. He reset the thermostats to where I wanted them and cleaned up the area. It was too cold to test the AC units, but since I had purchased the annual service, he will return to check the AC as the weather gets hotter at no extra charge. I will be requesting that Ricardo be the one to take care of the system. He was very courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Austin Air Conditioning to anyone needing work done on their HVAC system.

Chino, my service technician was very respectful of my property while examining my air conditioning units. He educated me on simple issues with my units and had pictures to explain. He also went outside and tested my units and reported back on some energy efficient suggestions that would be helpful.I am always happy to have my a/c units examined twice a year and filters changed.

We had an issue with one of our heaters, and therefore, the temperature in our home wasnt being adequately maintained. Chino, the service technician, quickly diagnosed the issue due to a defective control panel and went all the way to go and purchase a replacement and then come back later in the evening to install it. We are thankful for his prompt attention in getting this done and fixed on the same day as the weather turned significantly colder the next day.

Saul came to check on our AC today that we’ve been having issues with for a while. He found a couple of things others had missed (fan speed too low and vents pointed at the ceiling bs the floor). He also went above and beyond and check my other vents to be sure they had the correct flow and removed an unnecessary filter. Saul was great!

AAC installed my entire HVAC system when my home was built in 2023, and have continued to service the equipment since that time. Their staff have always been courteous and professional and I am very pleased with their service. They have canceled twice now to service my heating unit for winter. Here it is end of February and they have canceled again. It is now almost March and I see no point to service it now with spring around the corner. This should have been done last year already. Considering another service provider.

After over a week with other providers trying to fix an old A/C unit and going without reliable A/C, we realized a new unit was in our future. A search of Google reviews led us to call Austin Air Conditioning. We were fortunate to get J.D. out to assess our issues within hours. He did a very efficient and thorough job and didnt try to over sell us but outlined a good reliable unit with a great warranty. The AAC team got the paperwork done and scheduled us for a next day install. The install team arrived early and again were pleasant, efficient, neat, and quick. After about 4 hours, we were up and running with a new unit and a new outlook on life. A new HVAC unit is not cheap, but our sticker pain was highly relieved with the great service we received from Austin Air Conditioning. Highly recommend this company.

Came out once, nice guy. Little did I know the company were not honest. They promised to charge me ~280$ for 2x annual visits. Instead they charged me this amount twice over 30 days. Im raising a dispute with the bank for fraud.

Here are a few key issues:• No Receipt Provided: After the service, I was not given a receipt, which made it difficult to keep track of the service details and expenses.• Sales Pitch Over Service Information: Before the technician explained what was wrong with my unit or the next steps, I was immediately presented with a sales pitch to join their membership program. This felt unprofessional and out of place.• Lack of Clear Instructions or Follow-Up: Once the service was complete, I was given no guidance on what I might need to do next or any maintenance tips. The technician only provided the cost without additional information, which left me unsure about how to proceed.Overall, this experience left a poor impression regarding the quality of customer service. It felt more focused on sales than on ensuring the customer was informed and satisfied. I hope they work on these aspects to improve their service.

Excellent job by both technicians today, balancing the air flow and addressing the excessive power drawn during condenser start which was brought down from above 145amps to 93amps. The system is designed for 110amps max. Thank you!

We were very happy with the maintenance and advice that we continue to experience bi-yearly from Austin Air Conditioning. On this early spring checkup Jackson was able to arrive early and was able fully inspect our 3 year ACHV system. He was extremely knowledgable, friendly, worked quickly, and was able identify some early mold spots in our older duct system. He was able to offer some lower cost / ultra violet options that seem cost effective, which we are considering installing, to mitigate against a worsening mold situation.

Semiyearly HVAC check performed by Chino who was very helpful in description of situation. Had a clog in one AC drain at ptrap) and he was able to clear that clog. Hadn’t had anyone check it before so no telling how many years of accumulated junk created that clog. I am very grateful for his perceptiveness in finding the problem.

I discovered a leak from the condensate drain line from the A/C unit in the attic...Mauricio was here within a couple of hours and was able to fix the leak quickly. We have had him doing maintenance service in our home in the past and he is always very professional, explains his findings and proposed solutions, and makes sure that all of our needs have been addressed. Mauricio, the technician, was great but for the 2nd year in a row, I was told the wrong filter size to buy. Extremely frustrating. Extremely costly. 5 stars for Mauricio and 1 star for dispatchers. If they don’t know size they shouldn’t just make it up.

Mauricio came out on a Sunday of a holiday weekend to help resolve our AC issues. He thoroughly walked through the possible issues and was able to identify the root cause. I particularly appreciated his patience to explain what he was doing and why. We got our AC fixed and I learned more about good HVAC maintenance. 5 star service.

Fantastic service. AC was out over the weekend during summer temps. Saul came out on a Saturday (same day), IDed and solved the problem under 30 mins + walked us through tips and advice for system servicing/maintenance. Customer service was 5 stars from Saul and the overall experience was great.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Austin Air, especially technician Chino. I had an issue with my AC. I called, they sent Chino out and he ID’d the problem, thoroughly explained it to me and fixed the problem quickly. Easily the nicest and most thorough guy I’ve met in awhile. A real pleasure to work with.

UPDATE:: I had an AC unit stop working. I called after hours, the answering service picked up. I left a message. I got a phone call back from someone immediately. I didn’t answer they text me asking if it was an emergency. It wasn’t. The next morning by 8am I had a call from them to scheduled a tech out the same day. The technician was so knowledgeable, and finished the job so quickly. My 13 month old daughter was napping and he did everything in his power to be quiet. This company is top notch.First experience : This company has it together. Super easy to set an appointment. Tech called and texted me when he was on his way out. He communicated with me well. Fixed the problem quickly and was on his way. All of this was warranty work too. We all know no companies like doing warranty work. If they continue to operate like this they will have my biz for life.

Our AC went out after 5pm. We called Austin Air and they sent Ricardo out within one hour. He worked late to diagnose a difficult problem . The service was excellent, above our expectation. And the price was very reasonable. I will continue to use Austin Air and Ricardo for my maintenance , repairs and new installations when needed.

They’ve always treated me fairly, and they’ve almost always managed to provide prompt service. Their technicians are competent and uniformly pleasant. They’ve made me a loyal customer.Update 10/30/2024: We had some mysterious problems with an old system about to finish its 10-year warranty. After replacing two parts without completely solving the problem, the team stayed on the matter with determination until it was finally fixed. I have lost track of how many times they came over without charging us, in their attempt to make it right. Finally, Chuck the service manager came out with Chino, a technician, and they analyzed the system in minute detail. Wanting to be sure that the problem was finally completely solved, they replaced everything that might conceivably be related, all at no charge to us. Needless to say, I am extremely grateful and pleased.During this time, Chelsea in the office stayed in touch with me and made sure I knew, step-by-step, what they were doing. And she made sure that all work was done as soon as possible.Altogether, I feel that I have received amazing customer service. Thank you to everybody who was involved in this long process.

Austin Air Conditioning did a great job. I called them and they got a technician over to my house the same day. The technician “Chino” was knowledgeable and experienced. He provided an excellent service. He was very methodical and tested everything before giving a diagnostic , also he was able to fix the problem the same day. I will recommend this Company 100%. Saul cleaned blower wheels in all minisplit heads at lowest bid I could find. He also diagnosed why the heads were getting moldy so quickly. He came back and insulated behind each head, which should lengthen the intervals between cleanings. Very satisfied!

Horrible, stay away!! they scheduled, confirmed multiple times the same day, the tech LIED about not being able show up. The tech couldn’t even state why his story didn’t line up with dispatch. Go to a competitor, these guys treat customers horribly.

Chino was our service tech. We had multiple issues and he was able to resolve them. 1) replace the control panel 2) add refrigerant 3) found a leak and got me set up with an appointment for a replacement. Excellent service

I had Austin Air Conditioning come out to fix our AC. Mauricio was able to quickly identify the issue and fix the problem. I’m glad we called them because now the AC works great.

The bolts on our a/c unit rusted and broke off. We called Austin Air and confirmed our unit was still covered by the warranty. We scheduled an initial appointment that cost us $189 for a tech to come out and look at the unit. The tech who came out was named Chino. Chino informed my husband that the motor and blades needed to be replaced and would be covered. Chino recommended replacing the cover. My husband told him we did not want to buy a new cover because it was not damaged and only 3 years old. Chino stated he would send an email with the quote amount for labor. We never received the quote. The next appointment was made for the repairs. Chino came out on the next appointment and completed the job in less than 40min. Chino did not communicate to my husband before leaving and we found 2 separate charges of $1670 on our card. When my husband called they informed him that the charges were incorrect and would be fixed. The following week the final charge was for $1470 my husband called again and was told that Chino installed a new cover costing us $1000 and that the other charges were for labor for each part installed. He asked to speak with a manager and was told one would call him back. No one has contact us. We have also told them that the bolts that were replaced were already rusted. If parts are for outside use, shouldnt they be rust resistant!? We were charged a total of $1659 for a job we were told was covered under our warranty. This is not how you do business or keep customers!

Hector is very knowledgeable and has a great communication skills, he made me understand how my unit works and explaining what’s wrong with my AC unit. Chino came to diagnose mini split that stopped cooling. He was super nice and knowledgeable. It was raining and late in the day, but he was able to discover the problem and got a temporary fix in until the unit can be permanently repaired. Chino is great!
