Freon was running low after 14 months of getting it recharged somewhere else. I went to Tim at Esteemed Automotive and he checked for a leak with a dye test and couldnt find any. After adding refrigerant, my car was blowing cold air for 1 year. Today, I called Tim and told him that my car has started to blow warm air. Tim said come on down and hell install freon for free. How awesome is that? Tim has definitely earned my trust.

Ill be honest, when looking for car service in an area Im new to, reputation/reviews are a deciding factor. This place has high ratings, I gave it a shot and was not disappointed. Owner was helpful and hospitable to my car service needs, very knowledgeable and friendly. Also, since I had an aftermarket headlight assembly that I purchased on eBay, bulb was super rare and not in stock nearby. He still went out of way to help me as much as possible to find a solution. Thanks a bunch, Ill definitely come back!

I experienced exceptional service when I had a minor issue with my A/C that was unusual. Tim promptly identified and resolved the problem at no cost. Whether it was due to his generosity or my warranty coverage, I can’t say, but it was certainly a positive and satisfying service visit

Tim is simply the best! I was told by another mechanic that I needed a costly repair and I wanted a second opinion so I called Tim and he said something didn’t seem right. Tim is without a doubt the most honest, skilled, and hard-working mechanic I’ve ever used. I first used him in 2018 and never looked back. Most recently I ruined a wheel and some steering/suspension components by taking a turn too fast in the rain, and my car was not even drivable. After he finished the job, my car drove 10x better than it did even BEFORE the accident. He was incredibly patient and helpful as I worked through whether to go through my insurance and made the process stress-free. He went above and beyond, driving from Pflugerville to Elgin in search of a good replacement part for my 2008 Scion, and even rotated and aligned all 4 tires which he didn’t need to do as only one was damaged; he didn’t even charge extra. I will never entrust my cars to anyone else. Tim lives up to his business name, Esteemed Automotive, and he is just a delight to work with. If you need a great mechanic who is skilled, trustworthy, and professional, look no further than Esteemed Automotive.

I wish I could give Tim 6 stars! Not only is he very honest, personable with a great attitude, he is knowledgeable and doesnt try to rake you over the coals. I took my 2005 Dodge Dakota in because my AC was acting up. Tim did some diagnostic testing, couldnt find anything wrong and gave me some detailed information of what might be happening and didnt charge me. He didnt try to screw me over, by telling me lies and taking my money. I recommend Esteemed Auto (Tim). 2 thumbs up!!!

I bought a food truck in April, which--just after purchase--refused to run. After working with a few mechanics, who could not fix the problem, I was referred to Tim Elliott by a friend. He was upfront in saying he was unable to work on my truck because of its age and size, but was happy to provide his free expertise to any mechanic able to take it on. He even recommended a garage that could possibly fix it. The garage he recommended was honest and didnt charge me for the diagnosis. They could not find the problem without rebuilding the entire engine. Tim kept following up with information from similar trucks that might prove helpful. After four months I was able to find a mobile mechanic (I didnt want to exceed the almost $1K in towing costs I had spent), who rebuilt the head and did a valve adjustment. I am so grateful to Tim for his compassion in knowing that this food truck represented an important part of my dream of building an impactful culinary business. The fact that it could not be fixed was causing a lot of stress, doubt and financial anxiety. His optimism and willingness to help--for free!--made all the difference. I highly recommend Tim and Esteemed Automotive.

Weve been taking our auto issues to Tim at Esteemed Automotive for several years now. Ive never had a mechanic I had so much trust and confidence in. We always leave feeling confident we received a thorough and honest assessment and good price for the work he did. While diagnosing can sometines be challenging, hes always managed to get it right and weve never had to take a car back for the same issue.

Mr. Tim as I call him is a hidden gem of the City of Pflugerville. A true people person, super knowledgeable, trustworthy, fair, and clear. He even answers your call even after hours. I highly recommend him and his shop for anyone who wants a genuine professional service.

Tim is the real deal. I was having an issue with my truck and took it to two different mechanics. Both could not give me a definitive answer on what the noise was coming from or how to fix the noise. Within 15 mins on the phone with Tim he was able to accurately diagnose the noise and recommend a cheap and easy fix. Cannot recommend Esteemed Automotive enough.

I cannot rave about Tim here at Esteem automotive enough. Called him about my daughters car and the issues she was complaining about happening in her car. Tim not only found that, but many other items that need to be addressed with a 14 yr old car. We picked out the must have fixed issues and the , eh... not as important, and took care of the problem! No thousands of dollars “the sky is falling”quotes. I feel there needs to be more Tim’s out in the world because he is honest and fair. I am more than happy to leave this review about his business. If you are looking for a good mechanic look no further than Tim at Esteemed Automotive. I have had two vehicles repaired by Tim and am very pleased. When future repairs are needed on any of my vehicles this will be the only call I make. A good honest mechanic is hard to come by. I have found mine. Much thanks Tim!

We took our van to Esteemed for ac repair. Though the repairs were beyond the cost of the vehicle, Tim was very professional. He explained everything in detail and made his opinion on what was best for us. That is honesty and integrity at its best. I highly recommend this garage. You will not be disappointed.

I love working with Tim. Very honest mechanic and will go above and beyond. He has helped me diagnose a fuse issue over the phone. Met us at his shop after hours when we had to have our car towed in to him. I cant say enough good things about him and his work ethic.

What an excellent place to bring your car!! Tim was honest, accurate in his diagnosis, competitively priced, and had a quick turn around time. We are fairly new to Austin, so we were really at a loss of where to go when the knock sensor went out in our Acura. Apparently, it cannot be inspected as a result, so we were in a real bind. We brought it into Tim, and now will never go anywhere else! I would highly recommend anyone bring any vehicle here...its in great hands!

I cannot recommend this place enough. My car battery died and I was under the impression I couldnt get the hood open to charge it. Tim went out of his way to help me during an important family meeting, showing up where my car was and helped me fix my problem free of charge! No other mechanic shop I know of would provide that level of service without charge. Thanks so much again Tim for coming out and helping me! Sorry Im so incredibly technically stupid!

A lot of macanics said that they knew the car. But its not true.Tim in esteem knows the car. Moreover he charge very reasonable price.

Tim at Esteemed Auto is amazing!Went to a local mechanic chain for an A/C problem...They quoted me $3k to replace the whole system.Problem is step 1 involves removing the compressor only and seeing if only that needed to be replaced.They refused...they would only do the $3k job.I brought it to Tim, he looked at the compressor and saw that it was in fact the only problem...Saved me big $$A/C is arctic now!!Thanks Tim!!!

I have been taking my vehicles to Tim at Esteemed for several years and he does great work and more importantly, I trust him. I recently was not able to get my Tahoe into Esteemed and had a mobile mechanic quote me 1000 dollars for a misdiagnosed AC fix. I then took it to Esteemed for a second opinion and Tim saved me $800. Thats huge and I learned my lesson and will be loyal from now on. Highly recomend!!

First time customer, and very impressed! The air conditioner on my truck went out a couple of weeks ago, and I was leery of taking it in because I wasnt sure if I could afford it if it turned out to be very pricey. But its summer in Texas, and I couldnt take it anymore, so decided to take a chance on Tim based on Google/Yelp reviews, and very glad I did. Dropped my truck off to be looked at at 4pm, got a call by 6pm telling me exactly what was wrong and how much it would cost (very reasonable), and the work was done by noon the next day. Cant say enough how much I appreciate good and honest work - Tim is the only one who will touch my and my wifes cars from now on.

Its always nice to get the personal touch of a small business, but as a local one-man shop, Tim at Esteemed Automotive goes above and beyond my expectations. Hes great to work with, always gives an honest answer, and he walks me through any repairs that he does. I highly recommend this shop.

Tim and esteemed automotive was recommended by a friend, and right away if could see why not only did Tim take a look at my car but was upfront with me that he knew some one who could do the job better and cheaper then he could. Other shops would have took the work and over charged. I will be using Tim and esteemed automotive for all my auto repairs.

Man I was in a drastic situation and definitely needed some help an finding the issue! Well Ill tell yah, Tim came through with that for sure! He was able to get in there and troubleshoot timely, honestly and even when looking for parts, in my best interest.I highly recommend Tim. Did my research before i actually went to this shop, and it was all worth it. I called the shop at a weird time because of the holidays, talked to the owner Mr. Tim Elliott, He worked on my schedule and even offered to pick up the car at my house. The service and the work was exceptional and the price is below what the dealership was trying to charge me. But the overall customer service experience was above and beyond.I believe that this shop should be given its well deserved props and respect. I like to do as much as I can to my autos, and I try to research every issue. This was partly to guard against mechanics all too eager to take your money and escalate every problem. Esteemed Automotive is the only place I can take my car and say Look it over and tell me about any problems without fear of getting robbed! Tim will tell you what is wrong, and give you an honest opinion of how serious it is and when would be a good time to fix it. He has no problem recommending other places that can do specialty work cheaper and better than he can. Just stellar all around.

Beautiful people!! I had a tire go, boom bam, while I was driving down the toll road and the next thing was to struggle with putting on my spare. I have never changed a tire so I was learning as I went when the owner, Tim Elliot, shows up out of the blue like a roadside assistance guardian angel!!! How many people do you know would pull over to help a complete stranger change their tire, DURING COVID-19?!?! Only genuinely kind and compassionate people, like Tim, go out of their way to help others. Tim told me that he had circled around just to see if I was doing ok. He even called me afterward to make sure things were well and I was taking the proper steps to follow up on my flat tire. Such compassion is a rarity. I will only ever be seeing Esteemed Automotive for all my car needs.

My check engine light was on and the inspection place wanted to charge me $80 dollars to diagnose. I took it to Tim and he plugged in his tool, read the code in 5 minutes and helped me figure out it was just a loose gas cap for no cost. Love it when a mechanic is honest.

I had a friend recommend this place, as an affordable alternative to the big guys. Tim provided fantastic, same-day turnaround and resolved my issues. Ill update the review if it doesnt work out hereafter, but otherwise consider his work to be solid and lasting!

I was referred to this place for vehicle repairs. My brakes and rotors needed to be replaced and he repaired it in less than 4 hours and wasn’t overly expensive like these stealerships.

Very professional and honest. Could have easily charged me more for small issues that he repaired rather than replaced.
