Our technician reached out early in the day and set expectations on the approximate time frame he would arrive. He later texted when he was on his way and arrived promptly. He was able to diagnose the problem with our refrigerator based on our description and his examination, and had the means at his disposal to fix the issue fairly quickly that same day. We are very satisfied. Would definitely recommend.
The Technician Joey was very friendly and fixed my fridge the 1st visit. Joey was Awesome!!! . If I had any complaints it is with the cost Sears charged for labor. Otherwise my fridge is working again once the relay switch was replaced
The washing machine I own is very old but works. Because the serial number was missing he didn’t take the time to find out the serial number is on my policy & said a third party vendor needs to come out. I called sears back & a second tech came, found the serial number, found the problem & ordered the parts. Third tech came & fixed machine & it’s running like brand new. Sorry I wished I wrote their names down so I could give them their props. Even the first lazy tech.
Tech used no tools. He looked ar washer and said it was $800+ to repair. In less than 20 minutes he left saying the washer shocks was bad. I got no receipt for paying $137. These people will take advantage of trusting customers. Tech is a lier.

Sears home repair is terrible and the technician that I had was also terrible he came. I told him that my gas dryer was not heating up, but it was still rotate. We both saw that it still worked except the heating element. He told me the wire burned out he replaced the wire and then the dryer wouldn’t work so he said I needed to replace the start button sent me another invoice for about $26 that I paid same day and come to find out he didn’t even put the part in, this all happened November 14 today is Monday, November 18 and my dryer is still not working off. Call Sears multiple times trying to get this rectified with no help and my dryer is still not fixed especially since I almost paid $400.
Real quick: The technician who came out did communicate his eta, but after that the communication was lost. He did fix our washing machine issue, but we still dont know what it is he fixed. Hey, but it is fixed, so thank you!

Three times they schedule an appointment from 8am to 5pm. They couldnt give me a shorter time frame. Even after 3 times they still couldnt fix the problem so they scheduled another appointment where they didnt show up to. And I guess they submitted a bill to the company as the company sent me a copy of the receipt. Everytime they came it was something different.I had renewed my contract with the warranty company and started making payments on the contract. Canceled on Aug 16 and I have not received my refund as of yet.

Had wrong phone number, which took me 3 hrs of phone calls to fix this this morning. The service appt was made the evening before, with the email arriving after 7pm. When I tried to fix the wrong phone number, the message of can’t help now and try later. No service received because the tech couldn’t text or call me, and noticed there was no car in driveway. He didn’t ring the doorbell. Sears service couldn’t make me a new appt, telling me to call my warranty company to request another service.I called Choice and I’m still waiting for their email. I’m very upset with this whole situation.
We had another service company come twice and couldn’t fix our Kenmore fridge. Joey called ahead to make sure he had the parts, he showed up on time. He explained everything, clearly and with amazing personable style. He clearly understood his craft and took the time to listen to my questions and concerns. He fixed the fridge on the first try and made sure it was done right! I highly recommend Joey and Sears Home Service.

Tim the technician actually showed up for the appointment 5 stars for him ONLY. I have been without a refrigerator for almost a month . ZERO stars The last 4 confirmed appointments no technician called or showed up. Your automated system is designed so nobody talks to a human being, Zero stars for A&E’s Customer Service/Scheduling department. I will never use A&E or Sears appliance repair again. Overall, experience was HORRIBLE !
They showed up an hour and a half after the for hour appointment window. They charged my wife $400 for an hour of labor, no parts ordered. What a ripoff
Ernesto cancelled twice the day of the appointment in the afternoon. I took off work both times to be home, appointment was for 8a-5p and both cancellations were around 2p the day of the appointment. Finally did come out 25 days after the original request unable to repair and stated parts are back ordered. Parts came in within a week by mail and have had them for almost a month. In the mean time I called another company came out within 2 days and fixed it with parts he brought with him. Amazing how being professional, planning ahead, and being stocked on parts can make for such an easy experience(talking about other company of course) Do not use Ernesto under any circumstance unless you want to wait 2 months for a simple igniter repair. Ernesto finally showed up today 56 days later to make the repair, gave him his parts and moved on. Pitiful customer service
Satisfied and unsatisfied. Unsatisfied for the reason being that when he took the control panel off, there was a loose connection, that was not connected from previous work order done. Also was not able to determine what the problem was that causing it to stop working. Thankful that he did connect the wire and made sure that all was working properly.

Had appointment on Monday, 8am-5pm, no show or phone call. Next day I had to call Sears to see what happened. Sears stated we’re busy and they rescheduled for Wednesday from 8am-5pm. Poor service. The technician, Jason, on the other hand was excellent, courteous, & professional.
Worst technicians experience Ive ever had, tech had zero communication skills and was extremely rude providing no service before leaving. If you use them and get Carlos I would strongly suggest you cancel the appointment or get ready to be talked down too and harassed.

Juan arrived when he said he would and he replaced the part. The only issue was the fridge still leaked water. It took it overnight to leak, but, it leaked. We replaced the water filter with a Kenmore filter and so far, no leaks. Not sure why it has taken 5 different repairman to fix this leak and not one mentioned that it might be the filter...So far, the fridge is not leaking and my hardwood floors are currently dry.

After I got the part delivered I got and email asking me to confirm, however the automated only gave me this option Confirm Parts arrive and reshedule. I Didnt want to reschedule. Need an option that only states Confirm Parts Drlivered.
Called for repair service call on my washer, it wasn’t under warranty but I still needed a repair. I agreed to a $70 service fee when to be charged if the tech diagnosed the issue and I declined the work. If I let them do the repairs then it was just the cost of parts and labor but nothing was to be charged till the tech was here. Was asked multiple times if I wanted to sign up for home warranty program for $49.99 a month and save 50% of any cost and it would sign me up monthly withdrawals. I said NO 3 times. Well I woke up to an $49.99 charge on my account. Spent 45 min on the phone to get the account canceled and my money returned. Do not use them. They will sign you up anyways and charge you monthly for a service even if you decline the offer 3 times. I canceled my service appointment as I don’t want to do any business with a company who just disregards a customers request and takes their money anyways hoping that they won’t notice or makes it so difficult to get it canceled they just give up.they Labeled it a “miscommunication “ it wasn’t! I clearly said “NO thank you I don’t want to sign up!” 3 different times. And while I was trying to cancel it the 4 different people I spoke to were trying to convince me to keep it! So unprofessional!

The refrigerator was not repaired. He gave us his contact information and then ghosted us after a text to him that the refrigerator and freezer were 70 degrees. American Home Shield contracts with Sears. Buyer beware. I cannot get American HomeShield to contact Sears to send another repairman.
The repair person is rude arrogant in his way. I have reconsidered if I will ever buy any items from Sears again especially the warr- anty services from them. After 45yrs. with then. Service is not what it use to be. When service man tells u that he will get there when he does. Appt. was from 10a/2p and he gets there 5:40p.
