Brown Air Conditioning & Heating

Brown AC and heating really took care of us. We had our furnace replaced about a month by someone who turned out to be less than reputable. Matthew came to look at everything and let me know right away about the poor installation and how to best fix it. The team of guys that came and performed the work were very professional and they even went the extra mile to make sure that our system would run efficiently. I would absolutely recommend!!

Rep came out when promised. However, the wife was told something about a sensor and different thermostat from Rep but havent heard or seen a detailed account of visit. I have no idea what was checked, only that no issues were found. I understand this is a free service offered through the warranty company but I was expecting something more thorough and complete from an inspection.

Brown Heating & Air came out to our property to fix our furnace through our warranty service soon after we initiated our warranty service. Unfortunately, our warranty service did not cover the repairs that needed to be done, so we had an option to utilize brown for the repair.There was a bit of a delay and confusion with getting the quote approved and scheduling the service as the emails automatically went to our spam folder, but once everything was figured out and the service was scheduled, they were able to repair the water heater quickly and it’s up and running now.

Brown Air Conditioning and heating responded to my call the next business day and sent a repairman out the next day after that. Chris is pleasant and thorough. He found the problem and ordered a piece of replacement equipment. But returned later that day after thinking of a better and faster repair he could do by replacing the old thermostat. He could have charged to replace both pieces and I would not have known better. He showed true integrity and represented his business well. He also suggested some maintenance that I could do to help the unit work better (change filters more frequently) and explained why it would help the machine. I appreciate honest and capable people.

Brown AC / Heating always delivers a fair assessment and tries their very best to get all repairs done same day or next if a part is needed. We have been customers of Brown AC/Heating for over 6 years now with multiple homes. The latest service call was for our home on Galveston Island that our management company sent a tech to look at the heater. The tech that was originally sent out by the the mgnt company sent an estimate of 750 + tax - implying that it would be more to us once they were actually in there.We called Brown AC/Heating on our own knowing the trust we have in them. Brown came out did an inspection and named one item out of the several on the other persons explanation. The total cost for service, part and install was under $300.It is worth waiting for the right provider!Thank you to the team of Brown AC/Heating for always operating with integrity and being customer centric.

After hearing about Brown A/C service from my coworker, I decided to give them a call to check out duct work at my Fathers residence. So glad I did. The technician. Chris came out and diagnosed the problem first, gave us a quote, and was right back the following day to repair. He made my Father feel very comfortable, which is not easy to accomplish. The communication, price, and overall service was top tier. We will definitely be using Brown for our A/C needs in the future.

Matt was a really cool guy. Really friendly from the initial meet up until the completion of the job. Matt walked me through his process of what he was looking for, and what he does. Gave me feedback, and recommendations for what jobs to do in the future in regards to my unit. I definitely recommend Brown Air Conditioning and Cooling and will use them again in the future.

Brown came out on a AHS warranty, said my flame sensor was broken. They supposedly ordered parts and 3 weeks later I got a random denial from AHS stating the cause was secondary damage from water intrusion. Brown also said my exchanger was cracked, and the floor was rusted through, and they could give me a good deal on a replacement. Fast forward to today, I got a reputable repair company out here this time. They showed me the flame sensor where Brown had broken the tip off. They had it replaced and me back up and running in 30 minutes. Brown is clearly incompetent.

Fast, knowledgeable and friendly. Very professional. And they communicated! There was a small delay getting the part and they let us know. From start to finish the AC problem was solved in less than 24 hours. :)

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. This is the worst service or lack there of I have ever experienced. They were assigned to me by American Home Shield when I realized my thermostat wasnt responding on January 16th, a week before the pending freeze in Houston. They came out to access the problem, waited 6 days before reporting it to AHS. I received an email request today wanting to rate how Brown Air Conditioning & Heating resolved my problem. Well, today is February 3rd and my heater is still out!!! I called Brown and the employee stated she would have someone call me. Terrible! AHS should take them off their vendor list immediately!!

Ive used Browns Air Conditioning for several years highly recommend great service. Friendly, professional, punctual, clear communication, the whole team is on target. Five years, three new installs and have nothing but excellent experiences.

Charles contacted me this morning to let me know the timeframe of my appt. and to ask what issues I was experiencing with my HVAC. He called again to let me know when he was abt 20 minutes out. Charles got here and got right to work as he brought the part needed to fix my heating issue. Great communication and very knowledgeable. Great service and customer service.

Brown Air Conditioning & Heating was professional and very responsive in handling my familys AC concerns. They were able to address the issue, order the correct parts and repair the AC unit, so that my family could get back to having cool air!

Brown ACH technician Charles G. arrived in a timely manner communicating with me on multiple occasions. He professionally and quickly identified the issue, explaining clearly the problem and resolution. Charles interaction with me was more like friends and not just a customer needing service. I was extremely satisfied with his work and the manner he dealt with me. I was also very pleased that Brown ACH worked with me when I had a scheduling conflict with the original appointment. The scheduler worked with me in getting the service call rescheduled without undue delay. I should note that my referral to Brown ACH was via a home warranty provider program, to which I was initially skeptical. Those fears have been alleviated by the professional service that was provided by Brown ACH and their staff. I would call on their services in the future without hesitation.

Brown AC is very honest and informative. Matthew explained all the options and was able to make a temporary fix while waiting for parts. I would highly recommend Brown AC.

I don’t really write reviews often but I did not get ANY service from them. The technician just came, went in attic to check and said he will inform the insurance. On asking what the problem is, he could not give any explanation. The service request was CLOSED as soon as he left the house. WHAT?? Paid insurance $100 for no reason.

Bottom line: they are good at communicating appt time and scheduling and seems competent on simpler issues and nice enough technician. But with more complex units, lacks the experience and will send bogus reasons to AHS so they can deny coverage.Brown Air was the contractor assigned by AHS. I had two units that needed to be looked at. One was leaking water into drain pan result of obstruction. The other unit wasnt responding.They were able to clear the obstruction. But for the other unit, the technician broke the thermostate and replaced it with another off brand one without realizing its a communicating unit (older carrier infinity system) and other brands thermostat will not work. Then they gave a totally unrelated reason to AHS so it wouldnt be covered saying the board isnt responding result of roof pipe leaking water on the floor which is a good 5 ft away from the unit. I heard the contractor calling for help multiple times cause he wasnt very experienced with these types of communicating units and couldnt accurately diagnose the problem.

Techican was on time and very knowledgeable about what was going on with my heater. Turns out it just needed a little maintenance and it started working.

The installers arrived on schedule and immediately got started blanking the floor area and preparing for the floor. They were very well coordinated in how they went about doing the work inside and outside. The work was completed in a time faster than I anticipated, as I watched my next door neighbor get a new systems installed and it took them all day and part of the next. Chris, initial tech stopped by to check on their progress and answered my questions. Only issue was no documents on operating / maintenance manual given to me.

My family recently had both of our air conditioning units go out in the midst of this hot Houston summer. We have always looked to Brown Air Conditioning & Heating to resolve any issues that arise with our A/C and heating units and this time was no exception. We contacted our go to technician Charles and he got us up in running with two brand new units in no time. The workers were very professional and worked all day to ensure that we wouldn’t have to spend another day in a hot house. Title: Unprofessional and Aggressive Service – Avoid at All CostsI recently had a terrible experience with Brown AC and Heating. The technician who came to my home was extremely aggressive and rude from the moment he arrived. He attempted to work on the wrong AC unit, and when I pointed this out, he became visibly upset and started yelling at me. The entire interaction was very unprofessional and left me feeling uncomfortable in my own home.To make matters worse, the entire incident was caught on camera. I’m shocked that a company would employ someone who behaves in such a manner. I cannot recommend Brown AC and Heating to anyone. There are plenty of other companies out there who will treat you with the respect and professionalism you deserve.

Such nice people from office to installers. Very quick to respond, quote and install when others said they had no availability. And, the prices quoted and charged were better than 3 other quotes.Update- 2 years later. Do NOT use for follow up service. Service has went to zero.

Went through AHS and was told Brown AC was coming out. Never heard of them. Was contacted by Erin who was super nice and helpful with all the questions I had. They sent someone out as early as they could given it’s the middle of Summer. Cole came out and was extremely professional and answered all the questions and concerns I had. I would highly recommend them in a pinch. I even plan on hiring them for my routine maintenance checkups, that’s how much I was impressed by this company.

Matthew and his crew were AWESOME! Our 40 year old AC finally bit the dust and Matthew came in and saved us. He got us a great unit at an AMAZING price with options for financing. His crew was there the next day they were clean, fast and awesome dudes. First class professionals. I genuinely felt taken care of. I called Brown Air Conditioning & Heating because my air was not working in over 100 degree weather. They sent Chris the next day and he had my unit up and running within an hour. He explained that problem was the condenser which he replaced. I highly recommend their service.

Service was good. The tech narrowed it down to a clog in the drain line. I found the t-fitting, and sure enough, it was clogged, and the system fired back up.

AHS service contract with referral to Brown AC as their contractor. Unclear in this process if Brown AC is directed by AHS to look for or highlight “issues” so that AHS can refuse the claim and Brown AC can generate additional off-contract business. Either way, our issue was not resolved by this contractor.Problem: totally frozen evaporator coilPositive: Good communication and responsiveness from the Brown AC office.Negative: Total misdiagnosis of the problem and what was reported to AHS by Brown AC as the root cause. Based on this AHS rejected the claimBrown AC hypothesis: Low coolant pressure, possibly from a coolant leak stated verballyAHS received information from Brown AC that the root cause was “code violations, missing parts and no mechanical failures to the system” which was clearly quite different to what was stated to us verbally.AC unit has been working fine for 15 years. Our resolution• I hired a new AC vendor outside of AHS who diagnosed a mechanical failure within 15 mins of being on site! Low coolant pressure due to a blocked expansion valve. Valve was replaced and the AC system is functionality perfectly even with the above “issues”Be careful! Appealing to AHS.

Absolutely fantastic! Matt and his team are amazing! Job was scheduled Tuesday and completed same day! New furnace, a/c, thermostat and various other things that I can’t recall at the moment. Brown AC & Heating came by do do a routine check up on my AC unit. I wish I could remember the technicians name but unfortunately I cannot recall, however he was fast and efficient and provided great advice on keeping my unit running. He cleaned the outside unit and changed the inside air filter. Great service.

Had a wonderful experience!! Charles came out super quick and fixed our issue. They also charged THREE times LESS than the initial warranty company that came out.

Quick and efficient service. This was an annual checkup. Last year’s service was just as efficient and corrected the problem quickly in the middle of a heat wave. The same technician came back this year and he was fully knowledgeable about the unit. We are a fully satisfied customer.

Our technician, Cory, showed up on time and was very pleasant. Also, he was able to get the issue resolved efficiently. He gave me a few tips on how to keep our system up and running well. He truly exemplified what excellent customer service is. It’s truly a blessing to work with a noteworthy company.

They were efficient and communicated with me often through the process. They worked until the problem was resolved. It was a home warranty job so it took a little longer but as soon as approval was granted the new furnace was in thank to Matt, Cole, and the whole team.

Called Brown AC/ Heating, we were having ac issues. Mr Cole was sent to check out the unit. Unit was fine, so he checked out the entire HVAC system, turn out the fan had given out. He ordered the parts, and returned two days later to install replacement. System is working perfect now.Excellent customer service, timeliness, knowledgeable and experienced technician (Mr. Cole), always friendly and courteous. Chris came and got right to work to get my ac cooling again! Very communicative and solved the problem right away gave important information on how to prevent incase it happened again! My warranty american home shield sent them and Im glad they did!

My furnace broke down on a Saturday night and I immediately put in a work order to my home warranty company. They assigned Brown Air and Heat. I called on Sunday morning and Charles came out to assess the situation that day. I had to have a new furnace put in and that was completed on Wednesday as promised. Everyone that I dealt with was very helpful and professional and the installation went very smoothly.

Do not use this company if you are a Veteran 100% Disabled or if you are a Christian. They claim I threatened their employer I never threatened anyone, I simply said be careful taking advantage of me because I am a Child of God and he fights my battles. They quoted me one thing and used this excuse to retract to not do it. After we “agreed on a price.” They simply treat Veterans and Christians alike very Negatively also I am Latino and I believe that also had much to do with it. Stay away from this Company.

It took a while for the weather to stop raining, but then Chris was here to get my ac fixed! He worked tirelessly and got the job done! He was very professional.

Id like to give a heartfelt appreciation for the crew at Brown Air Conditioning & Heating. They really came through when my elderly parents AC went out in late July. From my first impression of them while speaking over the phone I have been very pleased. Very fast and efficient, installed a new AC unit and I have been extremely happy and confident with my purchase. It comes with a year service warranty and they have honored that! No major issues just had them come check the installation for accuracy. I will only be using Brown from low on!

2016 Quick response and took care of the problem. Six years later after storm of July 2024 they replaced my whole system for a very reasonable price. They completed the job in one day. I was very happy and pleased with the work.

If you have American Homeshield, do not engage this company for service.

I would have given a five star. But some my fault for not reading the contract. They added concrete slab, and cinder blocks in the quote. About 600 dollar add on. Neither items was needed due to slab was already there. Like I said some my fault. But the service was very good and employees did a great job on housekeeping and very professional. I would highly recommended this company.

Charles was super friendly and very helpful. He checked the thermostat as well as outdoor unit which had some loose things causing the noise. He even responded quickly to fix an additional issue that thermostat was causing and our AC is working wonderfully!

They recently replaced my defective AC call. That repair went seamlessly and they left everything as they found it. I asked him to come back and install a smart thermostat. I have. The technician informed me that the thermostat I provided would not work in my situation. He was very thorough explaining what type of thermostat I need for my house. I have used Brown AC for years and they’ve always given me good service.

The technician Cory Weber who came to my house was efficient, knowledgeable and polite. The office was another story. The attitude was like they were doing me a favor and would do so on their terms and time and I could like it or lump it. I had to call out a young lady on the very sharp tones she was using .A broken AC in triple digit weather and there wasnt an iota of compassion or any effort to expedite repairs. Rather it seemed like they took the longest route possible to get to the repairs. But for being sent by my warranty company I would never use them again.

Brown has the best customer service. Office staff and technicians are very friendly and professional. Brown is an honest AC company, highly recommend them.

Im new to the knowledge of an a/c unit. And I have an old one. Technician was very professional and polite. I needed a true and honest straight up answer on my unit. He explained everything to me and answered all my questions. I feel comfortable calling them back to replace my unit when its needed. Highly recommend Brown Air-conditioning and Heating.

I have American Home Shield for warranty on my house and requested a service tech to come out since I smelled burning wires through my air vents. The tech only went into my attic and looked around without performing any kind of work. He spend 15 min tops at my house and told my wife that we probably just needed to change the air filter or clean the duct and left. My heater is still not blowing hot air or workin correctly. I paid $100 for an HVAC tech to do exactly what I did which is glance around my attic. I do not recommend their services as it’s like highway robbery.

The office personnel at Brown Air Conditioning & Heating were professional and responsive to my needs. The installers were on time and thorough in their installation services. The technician ( Chris ) was friendly , very thorough , knowledgeable and professional.

I was assigned this contractor through my Home Warranty company. The first time, I submitted a request on a Friday 4/28 called their answering service on Saturday 4/29 and was told that someone would call me back. I didnt hear anything back, I had to call them on Monday 5/1 and the earliest they could come out was on Wednesday 5/3 (5 days!). I was told that there was nothing wrong with my AC. My AC stopped cooling again on Monday 5/8, clearly the issue was not fixed. I called and the earliest they can get to me is Thursday 5/11 (19 days from original service request!). For a call back on a repair, it should be higher priority. I was told, Even for emergencies, the earliest is Thursday. I would not recommend this company unless you can live with out AC for multiple days and have time for multiple calls. Stay away unless you have time and are comfortable in the Houston weather.

Never again. They would rather sell you a new system than repair your existing system. After diagnosing “the problem” we got a second company to come out. The second company pointed out the obvious problem that had nothing to do with what these clowns said it was. Second company repaired the unit (waited 2 days for parts) and we were good.

I had to wait on a part from my home warranty company. Which made this process exhausting. With the heat temperatures this summer that did not help matters. Matthew did an outstanding job installing my coils and getting my A/C back up and running.

Great company I had all three ac units going out and Matt the HVAC representative from Browns AC showed up and was able to get all three working within one to two hours. A Solid company with great employees. I would highly recommend them for any ac or HVAC needs.

Charles was great! Capacitor went out and they came same day with easy fix. Also prepped for the eventuality of Unit going out from age and usage. Was able to discuss different options to be prepared for. Great company, would use again!

Great service. Called them twice and the diagnosed and fixed the issue with my ac unit within 30 minutes (not major issues come to find out). They’re a busy company so don’t expect same day service unless you pay extra for it.

These guys came out and replaced our compressor and did a great job. It was no easy task either with the compressor being on the second floor with little room to move the new one up and the old one down. It also started raining and they continued to work until the job was done. They also cleaned everything up when they were done. Very satisfied I went with Brown!

Our AC was on its last leg Monday and Charles came that day, was very pleasant to work with and provided us with the answers we needed. Two days later and we have two new AC units for our two story house and it only took them a days’ worth of work. 04.21.22 - Update. My 24 year old AC finally gave out. Brown installed a new AC at a reasonable price in late February and its working perfectly. I was very satisfied with Charles, the technician, he diagnosed the problem and quickly repaired it. He was very pleasant and polite. The only issue is the long time span for the appointment 3pm-7pm. I know this is company policy but could the span be reduced to 2hour span? Overall, great job, I’m cool again and thankful.

We had brown air conditioning & heating since harvey and we had no problem until summer of 2023 they came 5 times in june and july then said that we caused the ac not to work and we need a new ac we got one and it was working and broke less than 5 hours and in august we called and they said that we were rude and they cancelled on us and that night it was so hot i fainted and hospitalized from heat exhaustion and so we got another ac company and they said they the ac fan was backward and turning into hot air so shauna i hope u don’t work there your rude and disrespectful and waiting 5 days is insane

The worse AC repair company I have used ever. Ive been dealing with this company since June of 2022 and they cant seem to get it right. AC keeps going out. They keep coming back out. I cant keep taking time off from work to deal with this issue. Terrible customer service. Spend extra money to get better service from a more dependable AC company. I wish I could show people the pictures of how they left my AC looking. I finally had someone else come out and look at. The first thing they did was laugh at the work they did. Just know Im giving you a fair warning about using this company.

Follow-up review; I had to have Charles come out and wrap and insulate copper line going from my unit through the two units above me. I was notified early in the morning with a two-hour window, and he ended up getting there early and by time I got there, he had already finished the job. He stayed around to be sure my unit was still cooling as it should. Brown A/C is always great to deal with; they are professional, friendly, and accommodating. For the prior call, my A/C went out on Friday, after 5:00, but I was able to get in touch with someone immediately by t/c, and a technician was out the next day (Saturday). The communication was great, and I was notified early Sat. with a window of arrival. I recd text msgs w-status update. Brown A/C is who I use on my Galveston beach condo (unit went out in mid-summer, and I had a brand new unit within three days (the delay was because I had my outside unit coated to protect from salt air), and now, they have my service on my house in Santa Fe. Very affordable, and they can be trusted.

Charles responded very quickly with a thorough inspection and attempts to repair. Offered several options as the warranty company would offer limited solutions. Set the installation of a new air handler in the west end of Galveston Island with priority. When the warranty company followed up with bad info, Charles was on site immediately to get it straight while the techs continued the installation. The price was inclusive and fair, the workmanship neat and clean and we have cold air tonite for our family visiting from out of town.I will continue to have Brown service our system and will recommend them to all.

Tech provided wrong diagnosis that cost $1200. Hired another company and the only issue with my AC unit was my thermostat itself! They provide the window time of their estimated arrival THE DAY OF the appt!

Unprofessional service. My AC was not blowing. Brown AC & Heating service was sent to my home through American Home Shield. Technician Cory diagnosed stated that a new furnace was needed and motor blower. Sent 2 different invoice estimates, $3,200 & 9,800. Four days later after no response I called and was told I needed to pay to have furnace uninstalled because it was installed backwards. Stating my home warranty would not pay. I explained “ why after 4 days a diagnosis is being sent about furnace being installed backwards when it was not discussed at first. Long story short, I requested for a second opinion. Another company came and repaired AC and it is operating. It only took 20 minutes. I didn’t have to spend thousands of dollars on furnace. The technician worked diligently, mission accomplished. They tried it, BUT GOD.

When 1 A/C unit failed, we knew it would be more needed for our old system. Charles scoped out a new RUUD SEER-14, 4, 3, and 2.5 Ton cooling/heating system that would give us peace of mind in function and comfort. Yesterday as planned, a crew of 6 + Charles arrived and went to work replacing our old 3 A/C and heating units. With military precision they were organized, had tasks planned, and removed/installed our new system. Very nice guys who worked hard and respected our property. they were neat and careful to leave no footprint on departure, all packing materials and old equipment were removed. Arrival around 0930 and left around 1900 with a cold house! They were upscale in replacing equipment with installation of a better water/emergency drain system than previously and installed individual quick disconnects for each unit for maintenance ease. They also installed concrete pads on the roof where equipment resides with tie downs. Our first night was wonderful with a cold house and quieter units. Looking forward to lower electric bills and usage. I highly recommend Brown A/C and Charles.

I have been a customer with Brown AC for sometime now. I had a whole new AC unit installed & Cole was the guy who came out. He did a great job. It was a pretty big job to where it started to get late, I just figured they would finish up the next day. Cole said no maam we will be here until the unit is completely installed. I was very impressed. He went as far as telling us that there were certain things that did not need replacing. I thought that was very honest of him. We have used Brown AC and Heating several times now and have always been please with their service and their professional repair men. Our AC went out last night with it being still 80 degrees out it was a hard night. Called Brown first thing in the morning and they had someone out around 9:45 which was before the 10-1 window they had said. Cole was very professional and had everything running quickly. It ended up being a simple fix. Other companies would have made it out to be worse and charged us a mint. Very grateful!

Steven came to my house to inspect my heating system within 2 hours of my first contact with the company. He was extremely friendly and thorough in his inspection of equipment. He gave me a report and showed me a picture of what he saw, then gave an estimate and explanation of what all would be included if I choose to replace the system. Had Cory from.Brown AC come to diagnose an AC through the American Home Shield warranty company (that was blowing hot air). Cory was very unprofessional in his conduct as when I asked him questionsabout his findings, he ignored me or gave evasive answers just to end the conversation. I had no understanding of what was wrong with the AC by the end of his visit or what the next plan of action would be. He was sarcastic at times with me when I was telling him about what I had noticed before the AC shut down. I was then informed by email that I would receive a phone call within 24 hours. Cory nor Brown AC have ever called me to indicate his findings or what happens next. I did go to AHS website to find this diagnosis as the reason for denial and that the case had been closed out! Here is verbatim his “diagnosis”: LEAK IN THE SYSTEM MISSING CAPS TECH SAID HE THINKS ITS THE KING VALVE THE SYSTEM IS EMPTY ON FREON BUT BC OF CAPS AHS denied my claim based on this diagnosis counting on that I would know nothing about ACs. First, the “caps” are put on a part such as the King valve to protect the part from dirt & grime within that part, only when a leak is already present. Caps do not cause the leak nor drain the system of freon as implied in his diagnosis. What I think the technician was stating was he suspected a leak in the King valve but apparently never even tested the system to see where the actual leak is located as it is not indicated where the actual leak is located in his “diagnosis”. This is all occurring during the Texas heat alerts & both Brown AC and AHS has left me in a sweltering house with 5 pets even though I have supposedly the Platinum coverage through AHS! Neither Brown AC nor American Home Shield have been honest with me & the treatment I have received has caused physical & emotional distress. I had joined AHS so I could avoid contractors like this.

This company is well-organized keeping you very informed using many mediums. The technicians seemed to have great expertise plus good people skills to help you understand what they did or need to do differently. Technician told me nothing was wrong with my AC even though it wasn’t cooling. Turns out the line dryer was rusted and had leaked out half the refrigerant. They sent a second technician that quoted me a price almost twice what it ended up costing me to fix it.

Very professional and got the job done right, on time, and under budget. I needed all of the ductwork replaced in a rental house, and was able to get an estimate, schedule the work, and take care of the payment all over the phone and by email since I live in a different city than the property. Made it very easy to get done without having to make a trip. Best price by several hundred dollars compared to other quotes, and they actually fixed a few more flaws than other companies had pointed out. This is the second time I used Brown AC for AC repair. Showed up and said low on Freon and both times they did not have any on them and had to schedule to come back. The first time was in July, the second time was in September. Not even three months later and needed Freon again. Said no leak but that a value was loose — most likely first time they didn’t tighten it correctly. The second visit the guy said he would be out first thing in the morning to replenish the Freon — he didn’t show up until noon. I rearranged my morning scheduled to be there. I called and they were unapologetic and extremely rude. I will not use the again.

We used our home warranty, AHS, and they sent out Cole for our service. He arrived and assessed the ac. It was froze up. He said he would return later in the day to check it after it thawed.Cole returned later and added coolant to the system, stayed to make sure there were no leaks, and took measurements for the leaky drip pan.Our house haven’t been this cool in 3 years!!! Other contractors just checked vent temps and said it’s working...ugh.Cole returned the next day, installed the drip pan and rechecked the coolant. All good!Thanks so much to Brown and Cole for you help. We will never use anyone else.

Ive been a happy customer since 2010. Theyve performed just about every service, taking care of my two central units (Ruuds), which were 30 years old when they finally croaked in July of last year, and they installed two new Ruud systems. This company was assigned by my home warranty company. They declined the service request due to not servicing my specific issue. Then, submitted a false report to the home warranty company stating their technician had been to my home and diagnosed the issue to not be covered under my warranty, entitling them to receive payment for services rendered.Their report caused issues in getting the service reassigned as well as resulted in me being charged the service fee, despite having NEVER received service.I was initially impressed with them after my call to schedule. However, after hearing from the home warranty company about this issue and all of the difficulty it has caused me, I will not return to them for a/c services in the future.

Corey was professional, quick, and very knowledgeable. He was only there a short time, but he taught me how to use my system better, and I am grateful. I will use these guys again in the summer.

Very pleased with the promptness and professionalism demonstrated by Charles and his crew! Called thursday morning, thursday afternoon at specified appointment time Charles arrived, assessed the situation and gave options on repairs with no sales push, just facts. He setup a time to have repairs done friday and he and the crew arrived on schedule and had us back in ac within 3 hours! They made sure they protected our carpet and cleaned up everything. Would highly recommend!

We love Brown Air Conditioning and have since the first time they ever came out years ago. They have great techs and the best customer service. Always polite and prompt and answer any questions we have. We recommend them to others anytime we get a chance to do so!

This company was assigned to us by American Home Shield for an AC repair situation. Upon arrival we explained that the unit was not cooling and was not draining properly. The technician did a brief inspection and said the problem was due to a plugged main drain and since he wasn’t a plumber he couldn’t help us. He started to leave but we said that didn’t explain the fact the AC unit wasn’t cooling. Reluctantly, he went back into the attic and then determined that the evaporator coils had rusted out. He then went on to report to AHS that the coils had not been maintained which is ridiculous. How do you prevent corrosion on coils that have been in service for over 30 years? Bottom line is Brown AC didn’t want want to do a warranty job at warranty job rates and lied to AHS about the situation to get out of it. Very poor business practice in my mind.
