Ahlers Heating and Air

I can say without a doubt I would never recommend Ahlers to anyone. We had a replacement just over 2 years ago and have had nothing but problems. They have come back many times now its out of warranty. The A/C fell open in half in the attic because the installer didnt put straps on it. The former installer, named David, has been fired, but now we suffer his poor workmanship. We had to have another company come out prior to this most recent time because we were afraid to trust Ahlers. This company had to acheive constant drain flow and repair the condensate drain and we had to pay them $348.99. When Ahlers just came out this week we had to pay another $129 which is RIDICULOUS since it wasnt installed correctly in the first place. This should have been repaired at ZERO charge since it wasnt installed correctly. Im very dissatisfied and very upset that we are dealing with COMPLETE INCOMPETENCE.

Jeremy was amazing, he got our heater back up and running in no time. will call Ahlers for all my HVAC needs!!!!!

They put in a new coil in my unit quickly and have been very quick to respond if I had any issues or concerns. Especially having a baby in the house it’s nice to have AC people you can trust and that take care of you. Chuck is the service manager and he is awesome and very helpful, and always gets us scheduled quickly. I have had both Angel and Jeremy come by to service/diagnose and both were great!

The tech Jason Buck was prompt and professional. My Nest thermostat was sending a lack of power issue which was causing the AC to not function. Jason was able to isolate the problem to the faulty Thermostat which was replaced by a new one that I was able to purchase from the nearest supplier. Since Jason has a electrical background as well as HVAC he was able to the system up and running quickly.

Very knowledgeable and honest. Saved me over $10k replacement cost suggest by the prior estimate from another HVAC company.

I highly recommend Ahlers Heating and Air. They are prompt, courteous and get the job done. Jason was our technician. He arrived within the time he stated on the phone, came in and preformed our winter system check to make sure there were no issues. I have been using Ahlers for about 4 or 5 years now. Very happy customer here.

While HVAC problems can be a headache, I cant say this is the case with Ahlers service. Theyve always been prompt, professional, and trustworthy. Thank you for restoring our trust in the HVAC profession.

Start to finish was a quick and painless process with Ahlers. First time using this company and will be recommending to others. Jason and Jacob showed up on time, found the problem quickly, quoted a price before doing the work, and gave helpful maintenance tips along the way. They cleaned up behind themselves and were very easy to work with. Its hard to find technicians that care about a home owners budget and general well being, thank you for great service.

Ahlers gave my family options on repair or replacement on our failing Heating and Cooling system. The techs were polite and courteous. Techs came out to assess the issue in the evening, they came back the next day and put in a temporary AC in the living room, and installed a new unit the next day. Every visit was precisely at the agreed upon arrival time and they completed the work exactly as they said they would. Weve all had AC guys that came with a ton of surprises; there were no surprises with Ahlers.

Jeremy from Ahlers is a life saver! Jeremy performed thorough inspection and testing to narrow down the AC issue weve been repeatedly having for a few years. He fixed it as expected. Whats more impressive was that he smelled gas in the attic and he took the time to find the leak in one of the heaters gas line. He fixed that too! I cant say thank you enough to Jeremy, as he literally saved our family from a dangerous situation!

After receiving 3 other quotes it was suggested that we get a quote from Ahlers. They had what seemed to be the best value for replacing our old system, duct work and all.I would not recommend this company to work on a dog house let alone a main living space.New system doesnt work very good. A HUGE MESS was left behind ( mostly insulation).10 days later, several service calls later, still not working right. Not to mention all of the things we agreed to buy and pay for with the job. Did not tell us certain things promised could not be done. No communication, did what ever they wanted and were still expecting us to pay for the extras that didnt happen. So sorry we chose this business. Should have kept the old system.

Ahlers heating and air are top notch professionals! They were on time and gave me legitimate options for our old HVAC system. In the case of our rental home it was determined that a new system was needed. They gave us options for replacing the old unit and gave us options to finance the work if needed. It only took them 1 day to get the install complete and now our tenant is super happy! I couldnt be happier with their work.

We’ve used Ahlers twice in the past month for our older AC units on our home built in the 70s.Theresa in the office was prompt to get us on the books & our technician was there when she said he would be. Jason B. Has came out both times & has gone above and beyond our expectations. He takes the time to explain what is wrong & how he is going to fix them in terms that normal people understand. Our AC is back to blasting a lovely polar breeze through our older home & we will be using him from here on out for all of our AC needs!

I initially had them come out to help balance out my upstairs air flow. They added some more returns, corrected some plenum issues, and added some baffles. They did miss adding one of the requested baffles, but were very responsive on correcting the issue.Last week I came home to find a blown fuse on one of my units that was being caused by a bad controller board. While the company my Home Warrantee sent out gave me a 10 day time frame for getting the part and installing it, Ahlers was able to get the part and have it installed the next day.They were very helpful and responsive. They took the time to give me all of my available options and werent just pushing replacement like most of their competition does.

Promptly shows up at noon in the middle of June and gets to work. Hard workers that don’t mind crawling into a 140 degree attic to replace 2 air handlers, clean and purge my 30+ year old system, and install 2 new central a/c outside units. The guy I had (Jason) took the time to professionally answer all of my questions without getting irritated, even my 4 young children didn’t annoy him and they got in his way several times. I had purchased my new equipment at Lowes and although it was the same ton/ size, it did not have the same seer value as the old ones. The technician told me he could make it work and put in the effort until the job was done at 9pm. 10/10 would recommend to others.

I purchased a home that had an existing brand new HVAC system and I called Ahlers to ask questions and get a second opinion on certain things I observed. Teresa was awesome in walking me through the details of my system and the performance I could expect. I would highly recommend them.

Air conditioner broke overnight. Darren, the HVAC tech was at my house within hours on a Saturday morning and immediately diagnosed the problem. He retrieved the part that needed replacing and was back and completed the repair. The capacitor replacement took just a few minutes - and the price was amazing. Fair, professional, and fast! HIGHLY recommend.

I hired this company to see why my AC was not cooling off my office. I was told that it would be 99.95 for the visit which I agreed to. The guy that came I informed him that I believe that it was the capacitor to the compressor. The guy that came out was super nice and he knowledgeable.

They did a full evaluation of what we had vs. what we needed for an add-on project. Thorough quote put together and they followed it to a T. All new equipment and ducts installed - big job but not a big price. Thanks for a wonderful job, the house is comfy and Ive lowered my gas and electric bills considerably.
