Williams Appliance is a great local company that Ive turned to on several occasions for my appliance repair and purchase needs. After my last Home Depot delivery debacle I swore to never use them again. Williams has been serving our community for 40 years. I like supporting local businesses but especially when they continue to exceed my expectations.

I do have a record of you coming to my home and attempting to charge an astronomical service fee of $165.00 without any prior disclosure of service/diagnostic fees from the beginning. I was in agreement to pay a fair service call fee after coming to my residence however it’s price gouging to the consumer to then bill after the fact a ridiculous amount of $165.00. You should have disclosed to us ALL of your fees up front so I then had the choice to move forward or not. I then received threats that you would turn me into a collection agency when you literally did nothing to fix my appliance issue to then try and price gouge me. I have disputed this matter with my credit report and had it removed. I will warn you if you make any more attempts to pursue this any further I will have my lawyer on this issue and you will be spending more in legal fees defending yourself then $165.00. This is very bad business practice and to price gouge is taking advantage of people in your local community. This is your warning.

This is the second time I have called Williams Heating & Air and both times and been excellant service! They explain exactly what we needed fixed and gave a quote that was reasonable. The last company we called kept trying to tell us we needed a new system for many thousands of dollars and not to even repair this one. Williams has been great to be honest and helpful. When they came for the seasonal service, the tech was the first one to clean out the condensate line! What a change from the other company! I recommend Williams to everyone now, they are the best!

I wouldn’t waste your time with this company. Very unorganized and unreliable. They may have been good at one point, but the appliance manager Jeff is very unreliable to say the least. Appliance repairs are few and far in between, but do yourself a favor and go with another company to save yourself the headache. I scheduled a repair over two weeks ago and after calling to get a status update I was told that the parts had not been ordered nor has the repair even been put on schedule.The technician Mike is great but that’s about the only good thing going for that company.

We called out Williams a/c for a service call on our 1987 unit. We have spent the last few summers coaxing our unit to last a little longer, unfortunately time was up and we need a new unit. We had such confidence and trust in Colton that we didn’t even get a second opinion. You can tell Colton LOVES what he does and is so knowledgeable when it come to HVAC. The price was also much less than we had been quoted in years past. Our downstairs is so much cooler and we can tell already that the unit is much more efficient. Thank you Williams A/C!

We recently had a leaky coil in our air conditioner. It’s very expensive to just replace that part and it only has a one year warranty, so we opted to replace the whole unit. Daniel really knows his stuff and is very good at explaining everything so that laymen can understand it. He and his assistant were very polite, cleaned up after themselves, were on time, and just very professional and pleasant to work with. Gary, the owner, came over to have us sign some papers, and he seemed like a really good, honest guy. We did get a 2nd opinion from one of the big guys before we hired Williams, and their price was almost twice as much and way too complicated as far as maintenance. We have a 10 year warranty on parts, and so far the new system is working great! They set us up with a comfortable payment plan, as well. We were impressed with everything from this local company!

Had Williams Heating and Air Conditioning (& Appliance Repair) out to our house on three different occasions for three different problems. They repaired our refrigerator successfully and our washer. Our oven wouldnt work and for our third call they responded and fixed it, too. We appreciate the response and the successful repairs with Williams H, AC and Appliance! Most recent call, Mike fixed our stove element like new!

I’ve used Williams a couple times before. It’s tough finding good trades, but look no further. These folks are professional, timely, fair priced and most importantly competent and service oriented. We had a full system replacement on one of our units and they made it look easy. Cooling in that part of the house is excellent. Glad we got it done!

I was on the hunt for a evaporator coil replacement. After further research and pricing options. I decided to replace the Air Handler and the Compressor basically rip out the old system and put in a new system. Not only did Williams verify everything before coming out they also provided me 3 window A/C units to have relief until they were able to do the install. They also did a phenomenal job so well its an ICE BOX in the house now. I definitely recommend them for your A/C needs. Gary was a dream to work with keeps you updated on all items and arrival of his team. His team came in and gave an estimate of completion and was done within an hour before. By far the best experience I ever had to replace entire system. I will not be looking at any other companies for HVAC work every again. They are the best and know stuff so well they can even discuss over the phone. When you need a great local company look no further to Williams Heating & Air Conditioning you will be glad you did!

We were calling around to get quotes on replacing a coil in our AC at our office. From the beginning, Williams Heating & Air stood out far beyond all the rest. They were very helpful even on the first phone call that I made to inquire and ask a lot of questions. Greg was so patient in listening to our needs and taking the time to understand our unique situation. He offered to have a tech come out and take a look at our units and set up for free so that he could give us a better estimate and suggestions on what we could do. Daniel came out the same week to take a look and gather the information that they would need for a proper and fair quote. Daniel was so polite, patient, and helpful while he was here. He was very informative and went above and beyond to make sure we had all the information we needed. Within a few days after Daniel was out to look at our unit Greg was able to give us a quote. The quote was way more affordable and reasonable than all the other quotes we had gotten. We quickly decided to have Williams Heating & Air make the needed repairs for us. Daniel was back out within a week with the parts to conduct the repair. As with the first time, he was professional, polite, and very informative. We are very satisfied with the work that Williams Heating & Air has done for us and are even more satisfied with their customer service and professionalism. We will continue to use them as our go-to place for servicing our units.

Great folks to do business with. Came to house right on time. Diagnosed the problem and ordered part. Came back at the day and time promised to complete repair. Worked efficiently and completed repair in much less time than I expected. The cost of reapair was very reasonable. Would recommend this company.

Daniel was very fast to respond and come look at my ac unit. My fan blades were busted and its an old unit so could be kinda hard finding parts. He took my blades back to the shop to see what he could do for me. He was back in 20minutes and fixed my ac no problem. Its even quieter than when the last company fixed it. Daniel was very friendly and professional. I definitely recommend these guys for all your ac and appliance needs.

I have been a Williams customer since 2005. They have serviced and installed HVACs in two of our homes. They are always punctual, polite, thorough, and helpful. I couldn’t ask for better service.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Found my central air had stopped working early morning. Called and left a message and Gary Williams called me back around 7:30am. They already had calls however he thought a tech would be available around 3pm or so. Daniel arrived at 3:30pm, did his troubleshooting and found a bad electrical contactor and showed were the part had failed. He had one on his truck, replaced the bad one and we were back in business. He did check the rest of the system and he asked permission to clean the vents which were filthy. Daniel has worked for the company for 20 years, was exceptionally competent and polite. How refreshing finding a company and people that represent and practice small town values. We won’t call anyone else if we need service.

We have called Williams over a number of years for all types of appliance repairs. They always have customers’ convenience and satisfaction as their primary concerns. We are so happy with their conscientious work and attention to detail. Thank you, for being there when we need you!

We have used Williams Heating & Air Conditioning & Appliances to service our heating and air conditioning units for 5 years. We had them replace a coil on one unit and install a new unit on the downstairs. We also bought a new dishwasher and had them install the dishwasher. The service representative are professional and efficient. We highly recommend Williams.

Williams Heating & Air Conditioning does excellent and outstanding work and carries the best appliances on the market...that last for many years at affordable prices. They are honest with their dealings with the public which is rare and I am glad to give them a 5 STAR.

I have been using Williams for over 20 years. They have always been honest and fair. Recently the compressor on my condenser failed due to a manufacturers defect. Williams replaced the compressor under warranty and also replaced a few other needed parts at the same time. The work was done correctly, in a timely manner for a fair price. No, they dont have tv ads or fancy painted up vans (guess who pays for that flash) they do have well trained polite employees, excellent service and fair prices. They are honest in their dealings with us, their work is perfect and they are experts in their line of work and we trust them 100% which in this day and time is hard to find unfortunately. Michael of Williams Heating & Air Conditioning just replaced a broken appliance within our home. He and his assistant were outstanding in every way. They were timely, professional, courteous, and careful to protect nearby surface areas related to the repair. They were also careful to clean loose debris upon completion. Happy to report that our new appliance is working correctly! We enjoyed an extremely positive experience, and highly recommend them to others.

Daniel came this morning to our home to assess our HVAC system, he was wonderful! Very polite, professional, did not try and sell me anything. Extremely honest, we have an older home and I was prepared for a tech to come in and convince me to buy a whole new unit. He did the opposite, started with the smallest issues (a recharge, and a new thermostat) in hopes that that will address the problems we were having. Was very honest and gave us his recommendations on what our next step (additional insulation in attic) would be if this didn’t address it. Before going to the more expensive unite upgrade. He answered all my questions (and I had ALOT of them) without making me feel rushed. Will definitely be calling Williams again for any problems that arise, thank you Daniel! And thank you Williams for employing honest individuals that respect your community. 👏👏👏

I have used Williams for several years on multiple properties and issues. They are responsive, honest and save me money. Just this week a tenant obtained an estimate from a competitor. I called Williams who came out immediately and charged only half of what the competitor quoted. Williams warrants their work too. I highly recommend Williams.

I’m sure this company has done great work in the past for previous customers based on some of the comments. My experience with this company was different. Made a call to get my dishwasher looked at and the technician came out pushed the start button and said the error light did not come on, so he didn’t see a problem with it. I asked what I should do if it comes on again and he said just give us a call back and we’ll send someone out again. Well won’t you know it came back on, tried calling back no one answered, so I decided to go ahead and buy a new dishwasher. Then I get a bill for $90.00 for the work done on the dishwasher? There was no work done on the dishwasher! Call talk to a Greg he tells me that because they went out no matter if they did work or not it’s $90.00. I get paying for working being done, but dang just to come out and push a button and say oh I don’t see anything wrong! I’ve dealt with our companies from SA and they have come out on service calls and found nothing gave me a work order with no charge involved. I would have gone with those companies again, but I wanted to deal with someone local. Well, I guess the lesson not to use this company again cost me $90.00!

The only reason for the one star rating is that the system wont allow zero stars. Williams HVAC replaced my evaporator coil and less than 3 months later the replacement coil failed. They came out and replaced it again but charged me full price for the second replacement. They blamed the failure on Carrier the coil manufacturer and told me if I had a complaint to contact Carrier. Of course there is no real way to know if the coil was damaged from the factory, during transit or during installation. Be aware, Williams does not stand behind their work. Use them only at your own risk.

The tech was very knowledgeable and very helpful tip in reducing our power bill. He was pleasant to deal with, acted truly professional.

Williams Heating and Air Conditioning is a real jewel of a company! HONEST service and prices. I called them for a second opinion, and they found the problem...a frayed wire that broke. The technician was so youthful, but he really knew his stuff. I did not need a new ac system!!! And when I do, you can bet I will call Williams Heating and Air!!

I have had reason to work with this company three times now. The first two times, I got another opinion and another quote. Both times that I did that, these guys were honest with me to a fault. They could have made more money off of me than they did, instead they were reasonable and fair and honest and did just what needed to be done without a lot of extra fluff and flutter. This week was the third time I decided to use them and this time I didnt even bother with an estimate from someone else, I just asked them to come and make my AC work. (I knew that the unit was on its last legs last summer and Williams helped me baby it through to last one more year). Not only did they fix it, they fixed it for a reasonable price (AC is expensive but they didnt take me for a ride) and they did it in just two days!! The crew that they sent out to assess the unit was knowledgable and friendly and the crew that came to install ONLY the needed parts (they didnt try to sell me things I didnt need) was super friendly and cleaned up their mess and were in and out in under 4 hours. I would not hesitate for an instant to call these guys back out to work on anything that I had that needed worked on. Today they went above and beyond the call of duty and helped me figure out some problems that made them no money but saved me a lot of it.I saw one bad review on this company having to do with the service call not being free. Free diagnosis and quotes are NOT standard for service companies. I have to say that every time that I have called any service company including Williams, they have told me up front that the service call was not free and told me how much it would be AND that they will deduct that amount from the amount of the repair if I ended up going with them to do the work that I needed done. There is really no way around that. If they just came and diagnosed everyones problems for free then a good number of people would go and buy the parts and do the repair themselves once a serviceman had diagnosed it. Labor is not free, gas is not free, and neither is knowledge.

I am so frustrated. Bought a new system from Williams and worked great until two years ago when it backed up and flooded our hallway ruining our wood flooring. They came out and fixed it and convinced me to buy a safety valve. A month ago, it flooded again and ruined my wood flooring yet again and they came out and told me the safety valve (that they sold me and convinced me would prevent this from happening!) was faulty. Charged me for a new one and took no responsibility. Stay away.

I have been using this company for over 20 years. They are always helpful and responsive. The technicians have always given me very good information and have done an excellent job. They have been and are honest and save me money whenever possible. I highly recommend this company.

They had what I needed to fix my a.c. that went out on a Friday night. Was able to pick up the part early Saturday morning. They even offered to test my failed component for me to make sure I wouldnt be wasting my money. Great people over there. They have my business for life.

The man who came out was very professional and fixed an issue we had been dealing with for a long time and that other companies could not or would not fix. Unfortunately I dont recall his name. Called to come look at a LG unit and they did not seem to want my business. Very POOR companyI would have been happy to wait for next week, that would have been no problem. But your man sounded like you could not do the work and I was WAY to far for yal to come, I live with in 10 miles from you, not like I was asking you to go to San Antonio.I got someone else that LG suggested and they will take care of me. They seem to want my business!

This company never mentioned any kind of cost to come out and look at my freezer. The technician came, literally did nothing but look at it and left. He never mentioned that we would be charged. Then we get a bill in the mail for $90. We paid $90 for your technician to look at our freezer and do absolutely nothing? We tried to call the company to explain that we were not aware that there was a fee for just coming to our house, and they didnt want to hear it. Thanks for ripping us off!

I called to purchase parts for my whirlpool dryer that had went out and not even 5 minutes into the conversation they let me know I misdiagnosed it . The staff there pointed me to the exact part I needed and my lord did they save me time and money. I would recommend this business to anyone who needs a repair or even some general information.
