I own a local hotel, and had some refrigerator issues, to which I thought Vetter Air would be able to help. Reviews seemed solid, and we contacted them to ensure our brand of refrigerator would be able to be serviced by their technician. Technician arrived, and was friendly, however a three hour service call, he made no attempt to diagnose the issues. He assumed since it was cold, the refrigerator was working. Our issue was the on the lowest setting, it was freezing product. He thawed out the refrigerator (where he spent most of his three hour service call in the car) talking on the phone. He then tested the temperature to ensure it was cooling? My issue was it was icing up. On top of that, I have yet to receive an invoice, but they were able to collect the money 10 minutes before technician left. Ive worked in hospitality for 14 years, and Ive never been more disappointed in a vendor before.

Honest Business for years I have used Vetter Air. Has replaced my AC unit and has done all the maintenance since. I had an issue with ants after all the rain and he responded same day. Reliable company I can’t thank you enough Mike Vetter.

I have used Vetter Air for all my air conditioning issues and they are awesome. And it starts right at the phone call I have to make explaining my issues. The office personnel have always been very courteous & extremely nice to talk to. The guys that service my air conditioner have always been courteous & knowledgeable. (I have had a different one every visit.)I will continue to use them & refer them out. I appreciate the relationship I have with themThank you

This is a truely honest Texas company! I recently remembered when I called to book a routine pre summer checkup for my system that I forgot to review them. I bought a home last year and was told by several companies I would need a new system. They couldnt figure out what was wrong. I called Vetter and they sent someone out ASAP, a service technician came out and within an hour he found my system was missing a coolant filter and a simple metal ball bearing. After fixing those issues the system worked great! They didnt try to over sell or lie, they simply came and fixed our system!

Completed a job at one of my residential homes, they did an amazing job with in a timely manner. This complaint has excellent customer service and timely responses, quick and easy to make payment. I will continue to use them for my HVAC needs.

Pros:*The tech named Dang seems to really care about doing a great job. He’ll try to make right any issues. He’s very friendly. If hiring Vetter Air, request Dang.*The price on a new A/C unit beats competitors, at least for a 2.5 ton Ruud unit.*My upstairs unit put in (2019) was done with last minute’s notice. I requested new A/C in morning and had it done by evening. It was beginning of May, so i’m sure A/C businesses aren’t slammed yet. But still exceptional response time.*My downstairs unit that I replaced in 2016 by Vetter Air, they came out and temporarily filled my unit until they could make time to replace whole unit in 2016. Very accommodating.Cons:*The attic entrance to get to upstairs unit had wood trim damaged after them packing old unit out and new unit in. They were not going to tell me about it; I had to point it out.*There was a lot of dirt and debris directly below the attic entrance left on the carpet, (upstairs hallway). They didn’t clean it up nor did they acknowledge it. I had to vacuum up after them.*Quality work is less than perfect but still good. My 2016 unit was found to be not sealed properly where outtake meets air handler. Condensation was dumping into overflow basin. Also means cool air was lost in attic. BUT, when I noticed it 3 years later, (the same day they replaced my second unit), they made arrangements to fix it. When the overflow basin in attic was being manually drained by tech, by using bucket, I offered the tech to dump the water in nearby toilet to save walking and risk of spilling. After job, I had to clean up large water puddle left around toilet and toilet rim. I guess it wasn’t easy to make sure all water from bucket made it in the toilet.*Different techs (NOT Dang) were assigned to come make the above repair on another day. The different techs from Vetter Air showed up hours later than what I was told they’d be there. When they got here, it was a rainy day. They tracked dirty, wet footprints over my living room carpet as well as up and down my carpet stairs. Not once did they say anything about it. A professional technician is going to keep a box of disposable slips that go over your shoe.BUT, I let the owner know of the foot prints, and he had a carpet cleaning company contact me the following day to have the carpets cleaned. All is good with that.There you have it. You get a better price, great response time, and the quality of unit install is probably equivalent to competitors (if tech named Dang is doing it). But, professionalism needs to be addressed. It’s whatever is important to you. I was impressed in certain areas and not so impressed in others.

They were able to come out within an hour of the call. They system was 22 years old so it was time for a new one. The came back the next day and installed a brand new a/c in a jiffy. Im just a renter so I cant speak for the cost, but the service was excellent and they are exceptionally polite.

They sell 20x20x4 air filters. Lowes and home Depot doesnt for some reason.Update: I went them again to look at my AC at home. They told me everything they could about what was wrong with my current system (i already knew it was a mess but they filled in the blanks for me). They gave me a quote and recharged my ac unit for a fair price.

Do not call for work on Commercial Cooler Walk-In.. Set up appt. for following day (because they couldnt service same day), and tech got lost. Therefore, didnt show. Rescheduled for next business day, got lost again, even after giving physical directions. Once he showed (with bad attitude), he then refused to look at our commercial cooler walk-in. He didnt even inspect it, at all. Just had bad attitude, and refused to work on it. We called the office and reported this service mans actions, they said they would send someone else out within 2-3 hrs., and he never showed, nor have we heard back from them. Really baffled, because they appeared to be a decent size and reputable. Unbelievable.

I diagnosed the problem, and then called in for a quick repair. 8 hours passed and I had to find another company. I know the summer is hot and A/Cs are going out, but a call would have been nice.

Terrible company, owner doesnt care, office steals money, and sends out employees with no EPA or TDLR licenses. Spend a little more and use a better company.
