Hill Country Mechanical & Electrical Services

I am in Seguin Texas, I began a maintenance contract with Hill country Mechanical in July of 2024 for the amount of $8,296 for my 2 Generators. They serviced them once and came out on a service call once. Since then, my one generator that runs my walk in cooler and freezer did not self test on sunday 12/22/24. It had an error code listed. I called them on monday the 23rd to get a technician out to check on it. They scheduled the appt for dec 27th. The office called me and told me that their tech had covid and would not be out and to re schedule for Jan 3 2025. Jan 3 came around and no one showed up. I called the officeno one answered and I left a message. I called Monday the 6th and no one answered I left a message. No one called me back. I called Tue the 7th finally they answered and the responded that they closed the office from christmas til after new years. (I would have thought that they would have at least notified their customers but they didnt). So I asked is a technician coming out to fix my generator. Her response was she will have to see when someone is available. I responded with ok but I have been requesting a technician since Dec 23 pls expedite the work order.No one called me back to schedule, Wed I called, asked if technician has been scheduled, to no avail she had no answer. I requested Bill the owner to call me ....no call, I called today, no schedule and told them that I wanted to cancel my contract and to have Bill call me. I flat out dont know what to do. This is just not acceptable. So in a nut shell, I do not suggest you use this company for generator needs or maintenance. I spent $8000.00 to get no service?????

A technician from Hill Country Mech. came and checked a malfunction on our 20K Briggs generator in Dec 2024. It needs a new electronic board. Now at the end of Jan 2025, I am unable to contact them. We even drove to the place of business, but it is locked .Should have read the reviews before initially contacting them.

Trying to get a hold of these Electricians is absurd! We used this business to install for our new build. Now we are left with almost every breaker popping every time anything is plugged into an outlet! We have tried so many times to get a hold of someone to handle this issue that they’re aware of and either it goes to voicemail, voicemail is full or a lady takes a message and no one ever calls back!

I signed a contract for a Generator install in June 2023 and made a $9,000.00 deposit. In September 2023 I cancelled contract and they made me a partial refund offer in October, 2023 which I disagreed with and countered the offer. I am still waiting on a reply from them from my many and frequent emails. The kicker is they never sent me a terms and condition disclaimer when I electronically signed the June 12, 2023 when they are now trying to enforce.

My AC unit was running but not cooling. I called Hill Country Mechanical and they came out the next morning, checked it and within an hr and half had my house cooling down again. It was running low on freon but they topped it off and I have had no problems with it since. Tech was very knowledgable and explained everything he was checking and ways to better maintain my system in the future. Thank you and I will defiantly be referring you to everyone I know.
