I have read the reviews on CASA workmanship and service. My unit was newly installed in a large contractor subdivision over 8 years ago too. The first weekend of moving into the new house, the AC went out. CASA came to diagnose in a reasonable amount of time. The issue was a sloppy install of the compressor. A wire nut of all things was not properly wound tight and came off. The service tech was very proficient and helpful with my additional questions. Fast forward 8 years to early October 2024, and my experience with another service tech was the same. I called about the compressor fan motor noise. The tech confirmed it was going out and the capacitor was failing too. It took two trips because the fan motor needed to be ordered. My concern here was with the office when they tried to charge for the parts under warranty on a later call, when the first call said I was only responsible for the service call. It was easily resolved by my information, but the customer focus and training on the other end of the phone could have been more proficient. The person may have been new or did not carefully look at my account.My reason for writing this positive review on this icy day in January is because of the additional adjustments made by the tech to my compressor in October 2024. I shared with him about the prior Februarys where the compressor did not thaw out and turned into a block of ice, and I had to de-ice it myself :(. He told me that a he would change the defrost cycle time - a simple fix. It has worked perfectly with the sleet and snow overnight. My guess is the installer did not set the defrost cycle time correctly over 8 years ago, along with not tightening all the wire nuts.I would call CASA again for HVAC service.

Avoid this horrible company at all costs. They are sloppy, unprofessional and because they have the contract with most big builders on new subdivisions. They sure dont seem to care or even have decent customer service.I had issue with thermostat not getting power and instead of trying to be kind and understanding. They insisted it couldnt be their fault and just said well we will have to charge you $120 for coming out for the first 30 minutes and $20 for every 15 minutes after that. I found a much better HVAC company who found the issue and it was an HVAC poor and sloppy work and I informed him that casa was the company who did this house. Apparently Im not the only one that has had issues with Casa. If you love sloppy and rushed work, unprofessional workers and rude customer service. Then Casa Mechanical is the company for you.

CASA plumbing has scheduled or rescheduled with and with out me knowing which has cause me to miss time at work. Today they were supposed come and replace the part due the crack not being able to be fixed. This is a reschedule that was suppose to happen last week but technicians called out. Literally between them and my builder (Lennar) for this 3-4 weeks I have had to schedule and reschedule 3-4x with poor communication.Today they show up just to take photos, not replace the shower base. When I questioned the technician about it he told me the replacement also showed up damaged. This wasn’t conveyed to me or the technician and again has caused me to take off for no apparent reason.I don’t want anything extra, I just want the shower repaired correctly and in a timely manner. What can be done about this?

Leaving a 1 star review because I was told I would get a service technician that would come out. It is now past 5pm and he is still not here. My house is literally sitting at 84 degrees and has been since last Friday. I also have a pet snake that needs to be kept between 70-75 degrees on the cool side and his enclosure is now reading 87. This is the second time the AC goes out within the first 3 months of us living in our BRAND NEW home. I will be leaving another review after the service is completed. That’s even if, the technician even comes.

As soon as I called them they came the next hour. Theyre professional over the phone and in person. When John came he was fast and very helpful, was answering all my questions and guiding me on what was wrong with my heater. I see a lot of bad reviews but Id recommend yall specifically ask for John. Definitely calling for him again 💯

Great experience with casa mechanical plumbing side of the business. My builders grass installers broke an irrigation pipe and we had to make a emergency call to casa plumbing. Robert is a master plumber he fixed our issue and got water up and running in less than 30 minutes. Even though it was late and dark out he was able to take care of it and all with great humor and a smile on his face. Usually my builders recommendations have been terrible but this company knows what they are doing. If I have any problems in the future at my home I won’t be dreading calling this company to get the job done! 👍 Thank yall for providing an excellent customer experience!

Unprofessional staff and horrible people skills! Technician just kept deflecting on the problem that they had installed the HVAC completely wrong. Other than that I had the report from an HVAC company that came and fixed their mess. Clearly stating it was installed wrong causing condensation and mold. I’ll be getting legal representation against these people seeing that I’m not the only one they’ve screwed over.

She was about to help me figure out my issues before the technician arrived!!! Unfortunately Lennar uses casa mechanical for the HVAC and plumbing, if you know about casa mechanical you will know they are hands down the worst HVAC and plumbing company to have ever existed. They do subpar work and have negligent “technicians” who barely know anything about HVAC and plumbing. We had an issue with the HVAC air handler leaking in our attic and none of their “technicians” could figure it out, not surprised. They sent out a technician 6 times and all they did was fiddle with it and tape it up, one technician insignificantly moved a drain line which obviously did nothing. The whole time it was a cracked drain pan under the evaporator coil, rocket science to these guys. I will also note the technicians are extremely unprofessional, they are rude, will cuss up a storm while “working” and leave trash everywhere, not to mention won’t fix the problem because they can’t figure it out. You would be better off getting chuck in a truck. I would avoid casa mechanical at all cost, and that is an understatement.

I bought a brand new build home. Just got done being built in September. The house has flooded twice in less than two months. The first time they left the test ball in my sewer lines. The second time they didnt secure a pipe & didn’t seal it properly and it flooded my house again. I called the after hours customer service and got no response. They send techs with no warning and just call and say they’re in route and the managers do not call back. The techs that came out today to fix the repair were very nice and informative. But steer clear from here.

I cannot say enough great things about John who came today to fix my AC. He was very knowledgeable, kind, worked quick, and exceeded all my expectations. Casa mechanical office staff was also so sweet and helpful when I called for updates on my AC repair. If you need your AC replaced/repaired and you’re looking for honest good people then CASA MECHANICAL are your people!! If you needed a sign then here it is. Completely unprofessional company with terrible customer service. Every time you call its like youre bothering them with your concerns. They can never give you a specific time of when theyll arrive neither. Dealing with some warranty work through them unfortunately, because thats who the builder is using. Tech showed up after 8pm one day which is an absurd time, and terribly misdiagnosed what was happening. An excess amount of moisture in my laundry room is causing mold to start forming around vents, due to what I believe is poorly set up ventilation. Set up a follow up apartment where the field manager was supposed to show up to acess the situation and they never came, nor did they call to say they werent going to come. Wasted a day of my personal vacation time for nothing. After they dont call you to tell you theyre not coming, you also have to call them back the following monday in order to get something rescheduled. They dont even have the curtesy to make an effort for their error. If youre a warranty customer, you are not a priority they do not care about you.

Terrible customer service! My home still under warranty, and they wanted to charge me for an emergency leak that I had connected to the main water line next to the meter and the connector of the irrigation system. Then later called to harass me for payment and whenever I was trying to have a conversation, continue to rudely interrupt me. We couldn’t come to an understanding. If I could give them zero stars I would. I talked to the builder and in fact, Casa was supposed to charge only the builder and not the homeowner. This is the way they conduct business they are on the path of self-destruction. I know everyone has a bad day but two employees screaming at me over the phone for a payment and being unprofessional isn’t a fluke, ITS THEIR WAY OF CONDUCTING BAD BUSINESS!

The lack of communication, work ethic and honestly, workmanship is absolutely ridiculous. This is the 2nd time weve had to call for a newly built home. The 1st time the ac wasnt completely installed and left us without ac for a week. This time the ac stopped working on Friday leaving our home at 80. A work order was put in and we were told wed have a technician go out on Monday between 8-5. 8am-5pm. Ridiculous window of time. Around 2:30pm we called to see if they were still planning to service our house and we were told yes no worries. 6:30pm and we received no update, a day of work was missed and the house now sitting at 85 and climbing. 7pm a technician shows up with no courtesy call and fixed the issue in the matter of minutes. Loose wire. Hopefully this is the last time we need their help. If you are contemplating contracting this company I HIGHLY suggest looking elsewhere.

Recently had an issue with our Dryer exhausting, was taking forever to finish and water was leaking out the vents. Raul the 3rd (or Trey as he might be called!) was awesome and got our vents cleaned up in a jiffy. Apparently there was some leftover initial plastic from the building install that had made its way in the vertical venting. Raul was able to fish it out without needing to even cut into the wall, great stuff.

We’ve used Casa a couple of times now for warranty repairs and they quickly get the job done! They always answer quickly and are on site within a day or two. The plumbers that come out are courteous and skilled in their work. Looking forward to using Casa for future projects!

Only left them one star because I had to. If your looking for a service or new unit run far away from this place unless you like to be screwed over, ignored, and love to waste your time. We had a brand new unit installed Jun 2022 and it just went out for the 4th time. You read that right 4 times. Last time we had not air or heat for over a week and finally after 100 calls and emails I was able to get another company for a loaner part until our new one came in well guess what 2 months later the later now went out and our replacement part is still not in. Dont bother calling the manager youll go straight to voice-mail and nobody will return your call. BBB is aware.

They are the worst company! Submitted a warranty claim for my AC unit that is not working properly. Sent a technician out while my daughter was home he was in my house for a total of 7 minutes and then proceeded to tell my daughter everything was working fine! How is that enough time to properly inspect the issue! When I called back to casa air to get that technician back out here to do his job right the girl that answered Megan stated they would be back out here and that she apologized that it wasn’t inspected correctly. Still waiting for tech in their texas heat! Temp in my house currently is 84 degrees and they don’t seem to care or to do their job efficiently! Do yourself a favor and choose another company to get you air conditioning needs from because obviously this Company isn’t worth a damn!

I would give negative stars if I could.I have had 5 different technicians out to fix a humidity issue in my new build home, and every time they come out the humidity gets worse.Im constantly at 85-90% humidity.Customer service is the worst.

We are currently renting our home. Rental agency called them to come and check the HVAC system and we received a call from Karen. She like many others on here told us that that’s how an AC is supposed to work. That according to their company policy it’s not considered an emergency unless it’s 85 degrees. It wasn’t until I threatened legal action if they didn’t send someone out to check the unit. Upon hearing that they sent someone the very next day. The tech that came out was very nice an found that the coil was cracked and leaking Freon. He filled it and instructed us to call the office if the system didn’t cool. Didn’t really need it considering that we had a small cool front move through San Antonio. However as the days warmed up doesn’t the house. Called to see if they could send someone to refill the Freon and was told “NO” because they had us scheduled for Monday. This company should be reported to the Better Business Bureau and have their licenses taken away since they refuse to fix problems when the equipment is under their warranty. ONLY USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE!

I note the poor rating for this company, but I liked them. Always had good service from them until recently hence the 2 Star rating. They did the initial installation on our AC unit, so I called them when it stopped working. And yes, it was during the no rain, 106 degrees dark time. They came out quickly, and diagnosed the problem. I asked the technician to give me a quote for repair or replacement, and he said he would call me the next day. You guessed it, no call. Nothing. Three days later, still nothing, so I went with another firm (Jon Wayne, very timely and very professional). I tried calling the AC repair manager when the bill for the initial visit came in, he didnt return my call either. I wont do business with a company that wont even return a phone call and you shouldnt either.

I have a service agreement with CASA and they came to check the unit a few weeks ago. They performed the service and they said there was no issue, well my AC unit stopped working in the middle of the night and I called to schedule a repair, they didn’t answer and sent text messages and stopped replying… later during the night the temperature increased even more and responded that they won’t come because I don’t have a Warranty!!!! Even though I have a maintenance agreement!!!! Another company came and showed me that CASA did nothing! That the capacitor has been failing for a while and it could have been replaced at the time of the 6 month check! Stay away from this business they don’t care about you or your family!

These guys seem to install A/C for a lot of new builds under warranty. After a year of living in our home, had a small condensation leak. Scheduled service under warranty and had an appointment next week with a window of 8-12am.I missed a call from them but called back within 2 minutes. No reply. I was already moving my trash can out to the sidewalk when I saw the work van. He saw me coming out of the front of my house and took off! I called dispatch back and asked what had happened. She read her notes from the tech that stated “they tried to make contact but couldn’t get a hold of me. They left a note on the door and left a voicemail trying to reschedule.” I never received a voicemail. I was looking at him when he took off so obviously never got a “tag on the door”.The tech worked harder to get out of doing the job then actually doing the job. Told his dispatch he couldn’t make contact….even when he saw me come out the front of my house. If your home is under warranty and it is any kind of emergency, don’t bother. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt on most occasions, and have never left a google review. But to have a tech show up and leave after seeing that I was actually home is extremely off-putting. Even went further to lie and say he called me back and left a note on the door. Neither happened. Don’t chance it, go with another company. Completely unprofessional.

My AC went out June 8th Thursday evening, missed work Friday and called Casa Mechanical first thing in the morning. They said a technician would arrive that same day. No response by 3:30 pm, called again and was told that a technician would for sure come out. Never heard from them again. Office was closed all weekend. Luckily I saved an ex Casa Mechanical technicians phone number. He showed up within 1 hour around 6:30 pm Friday and saved us from the blistering heat we may have endured over the weekend and possible weekend labor charges.Casa has yet to call back and check on me. Casa installed the AC units in our community which is why I called them. BEWARE!

I have a new home build under warranty. My A/C stopped cooling. I called them because they have to do the warranty work. The first tech to come out blamed us and said the system was working perfectly fine adjusted some vents and that was it. He was extremely condescending and rude to my wife and neighbor. He talked down to them and was a jerk. That night it took 8 hours to cool 5 degrees. I called back the next day just to be met with rudeness and contempt from the receptionist. She actually asked me if I kept my windows open.... I was adamant something was wrong but she was adamant there wasnt anything wrong. I requested another tech to come out that same day and I met them personally. It took him 10 minutes to determine i have a freon leak and have no pressure. I called again to have them come find the leak and again was met with rudeness and contempt. Avoid this company at all costs!!!

Casa Mechanical has been a horrible experience. They are associated with D.R Horton which we purchased our home from and got Casa Mechanical as the warranty company on our AC. We were waiting all day for them to show up for the appointment and no one ever came. When I called to schedule again the representative told me all she could do was put me on the schedule but not promise anyone would even come out again! When they have come in the past, the technicians just gives us any excuse why it’s not working and leaves right away without fixing anything. The only reason we finally found out what was wrong after numerous calls was because we hired our own inspector. It has been a very bad experience for us dealing with this company and really sad to see this is what dr horton provided its homeowners with as a warranty company.

Initial diagnostic appointment went great. One week later had 4 hour window to repair. No show, no call. Office said initial 4 hour window was just an estimate. Really?!?, that’s news to me! So who knows when they’re coming?? That’s just arrogance. I have a service business- we call when we can’t make it, we don’t make excuses. They originally installed my a/c and water heaters but I’m going to be looking elsewhere for service. Just can’t get over the arrogance that they don’t need to call if they aren’t going to make a FOUR hour window. Terrible customer service perspective!

I live in a brand new sub division and Casa has come out 4 times to work on a A/C. Their office personnel is not knowledgeable in warranty systems. Their quality assurance is virtually non-existent and their customer care is bad, they will not let you talk and they will talk over you. Also how the heck do you need Freon on a brand new AC unit and yes I understand thermodynamics when it rains but when I am about to sign for a new house in the summer your quality control team needs to come in and double check all their systems to avoid liability.

They did the AC for my home brand new system that does not cool. when they installed it it worked for a couple of hours after that it stopped cooling. they keep giving us the run around. we had to go the entire weekend with no AC I called them on saturday that the home wasnt cooling they sent someone out today he just looked at the unit and left said he would bring a tech before 5pm and they never cameback and keep giving us the run around. awful company!

New build under warranty with similar issues like other reviews. Have called them multiple times to fix issues with our HVAC and they still can not seem to figure out what’s wrong. They say they have emergency technicians but none available and my home is reading 88 downstairs and 101 upstairs. They are true failure of a company.

Absolutely worst company. NY husband and I work full time..they never call or show up during the four hour block...sometimes they dont show up that day at all. They have no idea whats wrong with the ac and just pick random things. Been over a month. Twmpeture is insanely high and humidity is so high we have mold. They dont answer or respond to calls. Technician #1062 showed up to my house on a service call and replaced a capacitor to fix an issue with my condenser fan motor not starting. He went about his business in an arrogant and condescending manner. That same night the same issue continued. I recalled the service and he chose not to come back to our house until four days later. He then replaced the condenser again even though we told him this was not the issue. Again the issue immediately reappeared. Not wanting to endure his incompetence again I bought a new condenser fan motor online and replaced it myself. Moral of the story is dont waste your time with these incompetent and unprofessional idiots.

From the onset its been fubar from day one. Moved in AC didnt work. The fuse wasnt installed and turned on/checked properly. Every year for spring/fall maintenance its a hassle setting up a schedule. If its a gated community and they cant get in they say they tried, called you and then leave without word to reschedule. Your never notified when they are actually trying to get in so your left with their schedule time of 5 hour window to sit and wait all day. Finally I call to see what happened only to be told sorry you have to reschedule which of course is another department. And when you speak yo someone it seems like your bothering them. Well this happened too many times. Yesterday was the last Ill every waste our time with these guys. No show because they couldnt get in or reach/call my cell when they are there, which is BS since I sat here all day with charged phone at home taking off of work. Then the very next day I see their van/technician servicing right next door, unbelievable. Every technician is trained and taught differently because every one the last 3 years has different ways of working your system properly. Some are very knowledgeable BUT I must say there are plenty of other companies who want and deserve your business that wont give you the terrible service this one seems to be known for.

We called in to question the process of a warranty along with other inquiries, and the women who answered had a very calm voice initially however kept speaking over me and was not allowing any questions, had a very demeaning attitude and later responded very sarcastically as I requested she allow me to speak. This women is not a professional, is very entitled and is an embarrassment to this establishment. I am definitely not the first person she speaks to in that manner because it came out very naturally completely out of nowhere and was very snarky about it as well. How dare she speak to people like that, especially while on the clock which resulted in me raise my voice over hers and had me extremely upset. Beyond poor customer service for this women and speaks volumes of who this company employs a poor excuse of a women such as her.

Technicians are nice and professional however, I had an unpleasant phone call with Vicki today. She kept saying I was confusing her and right before she put me on hold she said out loud to anther employee This call is confusing me yet again. Not to mention all the heavy sighs she let out before getting someone else to help me. Sorry, but customer service is not your thing. Im only dealing with you because our builder contracted you. Under normal circumstances I would have steered clear of your 2.2 google rated business.

So this is the company that did all the electrical work on my new home prior to me purchasing. Not only have there been a plethora of problems since then (3 years ago), but they have come out to ‘fix’ malfunctioning items and they break a few months later. All of that happens IF and I do mean IF you can even get them on the phone to talk to them. Go ahead, try calling their number right now and see if they ever answer. Do yourself a favor and just find a different company. Their reviews speak for themselves.

Unfortunately Im forced to used them as they are the maintenance company for the builder of my new home. Ive had 2 service requests so far, each time, they dont just give you a 1/2 day window, they say it can be anytime after 12pm... I do mean anytime. My first service call the tech showed up at 645 when they told me it would be after noon... dont bother asking for clarification or a smaller window of time, they wont give it. My second service.. well, actually thats why Im writing, its now 9pm, I called in for A/C service yesterday, at 9am this morning I received a call from Casa Mechanical saying they would get to me sometime today, again another obscure service window. So 12 hours later and no idea when a tech is coming, meanwhile my A/C continues to not function... when would anyone buy a product or service that such a warranty would be acceptable? Ive spoken to their dispatchers multiple times today and the problem keeps going back to many people have a/c problems and when I press them the truth comes out, they have 1 tech that services your area... well maybe thats a problem. Maybe they shouldnt be cheapies and they should staff up for their customers. My advice, if you arent forced to use this company, then dont, just run the other way, you will easily find better service elsewhere.edit: It wouldnt be fair if I didnt comment on their tech. The guy that came out actually did a great job, he was quick, knowledgeable and friendly. Ive improved their review to 2 stars because of his effort. Casa Mechanicals problem, is they obviously dont have enough guys like him to keep up with the amount of work they have. Id be very wary of them for this reason.

Casa Mechanical told me that our AC motor and expansion valve needs to be replaced and warranty cover the parts but I had to pay $1,050 for the parts and I was told that they would stop by and fix everything by August 21. Today is August 24 and no one stopped or called! What a horrible service and company!

Proble the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. A lady that works there just hangs up without saying a word, been waiting a month for a thermostat. Had several no shows to service appointments. Casa Mechanical did the AC installation in our Lennar home. At walk through our secondary AC line was dripping. It was fixed temporarily because now it’s doing the same thing all over again. Now our home builder warranty is expired and they want to charge $86 for the first 15 minutes and then $22 every 15 minutes afterwards. SCAM!! We moved into our new home in 2017 & in 2018 had to replace our A/C coil, It is 2021 and we are replacing yet another coil! It is 100 degrees & we have children, a toddler & animals. It is very expensive to try to find boarding for our animals & hotels! Casa told us the earliest they could come was on Friday… 4 days from now! Very unhappy😡 Concetta Smith

I’ve had several problems with this company. The first one they took 5 months to fix my plumbing. The other issue was that my ac stopped working and till this day it remains the same.Furthermore when calling they have terrible customer care and the receptionist lack professionalism. IF MY HOUSE WASN’T UNDER WARRANTY I WOULD HAVE NEVER REACHED OUT. TERRIBLE SERVICE!

2.5 months of waiting passed expected completion date to pour .33 cubic yds of concrete.Update: Casa Mechanical came and poured the concrete after 3.5 months of waiting and did a sloppy job. They will not return contact attempts. DO NOT recommend this company at all!

Customer service is non existent, they’ve been out 11 times in the last 35 days and have yet to fix the issue. Constantly blown off and gas lit by management. Unfortunately I’m under their warranty and have to use them. Would never recommend to anyone!

For being 24/7 emergency service, they aren’t 24/7. They said it had to be 85 in our home for them to come out, and it is, and now they can’t come. I have a newborn and he can’t get too hot. Absolutely ridiculous.

John showed up promptly and took care of our issue with the air conditioner I highly recommend this business he is very thorough and he explains in detail everything he did and he goes above and beyond to make sure the customer is satisfied thank you John for everything you’ve done!!! If I ever have any issues in the future I only want John to come out!!!

Do not I repeat do not have an A/C installed by this company. If your buying a home with anything with this name do not purchase the home. 3 year into living in a Lennar built home the A/C wen out and they offer no warranty on it!! Cheap A/C units!! Buyers beware!

Our plumbing was installed by this company, in our 3 year old home. We are now paying thousands of dollars to repair the improperly installed sewer line, and sewer clean out. They are a terrible company that does not stand behind their work. I wouldnt trust them with anything!!!

THE ABSOLUTE WORST!! They dont show up on time. They dont call you back. They dont tell you when theyre going to come back. When customer service says theyre coming, they dont. The technicians cancel their appts and dont tell anyone. Ive been without AC for 8 days now!! The ONLY reason I called is because their ugly CASA sticker is on my unit which made me think they either performed service or installation and would know something. But they dont... theyre terrible. And their managers are never available. Ive already taken two days off of work for them. Terrible customer service!!!
