Discovered unit was installed by what looks like 2nd graders in elementary school by technicians working out of their trunk of their car. Service feed is not to NEC codes, circuit breaker panel cover removed, energy saving control system bypassed and not reinstalled, Fire extinguisher removed and not remounted in closet, lines to evap. coil block accessibility to coil, line entry grommets missing, power breakers cover not installed, control wires have 4 wire-nut splice points, unit integrity bad causing covers to leak from forced pressure air flow through unit, external filter holder large than unit & not sealed to unit, allowing unfiltered air to totally bypass filter, unit not warranty registered, invoice poorly and vaguely written with no unit information nor is units and labor itemized, manuals and literature given to customer not of the units installed, no warranty information given so that customer could attempt to register units. This clearly looks like a job done in taking advantage of a elderly senior citizen that doesnt know anything about the industry nor appliance. Possible the old unit was not at all defective since it stopped working when a acquaintance replaced the thermostat and heat-pump was not switching after thermostat was replaced. Possible incorrect thermostat was used and just needed to be a correct thermostat installed and not a complete new system.

This company is outstanding. My a/c was not blowing cool air and come to find out there was a leak in the evaporator coil. Because my unit was still under warranty, I just had to pay the charge to ship the old part back to the manufacturer. Danny was a good guy! Knowledgeable and professional and most importantly, shows that he cares. You dont find that very often. Gives me faith in contractors and mostly faith in mankind. Danny.does good work and just simply the best!

My 89 year old Mom’s A/C went out at 4:45 PM on a holiday weekend and she had used Air Tex in the past so I called them. The owner sent Lincoln over and within an hour the A/C was repaired and cooling the 85 degree home!!! What a blessing it is to know there are still great people out there working at great companies that care about people❤️Thank you so much Air-Tex❣️

Danny is a honest and nice guy. They are the best air conditioning company in New Braunfels and surrounding area. He has been repairing our air conditioner for over 30 years. They get 5 stars plus!

I had problems with my AC. It wasnt getting cold enough. I had an older Ac unit. Danny Henslee and his employees came right out and fixed the problem, which was the unit i had was to small & i had some areas where air was escaping. Air-Tex has helped us out a few times. At our previous house another company kept telling us that things were wrong with our unit. When we called Air-Tex we found out that the other company was claiming things were wrong that really werent. Air-Tex fixed the real problem and we never had any more problems after that. Just recently they came out within 30 minutes of calling them and fixed our heat. They are honest, have integrity, and are ethical.

Replaced our 20 year old system for us. Works great. Crew was very friendly.
