Great company! From the moment I called the staff was friendly and incredibly helpful with scheduling me an appointment that would fit into my busy schedule! The technician Jace champion arrived on time and was very knowledgeable. He took time to explain the issue with my system in a way that I could understand. They quickly resolved this problem and the entire process was very smooth!

Austin Christmas (yes his cool real name) was the tech that came out to address my heating issues. He was very polite, helpful and mindful of keeping my house clean. He offered many options (about 5 I believe) and worked with me to figure out exactly the solution that works for me. Recommend!

After another plumber was unable to get to the bottom of the issue with my hot water heater, I contacted McWilliams. The rep who came out was absolutely determined! He even found a work around to the issue while he had to do follow up with the hot water heater’s support personnel. Ended up that it had to be replaced. We had to deal with an insurance issue to get it replaced, and the McWilliams team was terrific helping me through it all. I was very pleased with their diligence and follow up.

Heater went out in the house, and expected to wait at least days before anything could be repaired, or replaced. Mike came out the same day it went out to inspect the old unit, and to see what it would take to repair it. He thoroughly explained what it would take, and the cost. I decided to replace the old unit with a new one. He thoroughly explained that as well. Pedro, and Jose were out the next morning, and were finished by 5pm. All 3 were very knowledgeable, and very courteous! Outstanding job! Highly recommend!

Raymond was wonderful. He took care of the problem immediately and even looked at another small issue. He was very polite and helpful. I will use them always. One of the best plumbing experiences I’ve had.

The only critique I can offer is the vague/evasive response I received when I asked for an estimate of cost for the service. I had to pry the $80 base fee out of her and she wouldnt tell me any more.So the $450 total came as a shock, as its twice what Ive ever paid before. I probably would have shopped around had she quoted such a figure.Having said that, put me down as a satisfied customer!Jaxon and his helper did a professional and thorough job of cleaning out my tap; the best Ive ever seen. The camera was worth the price of admittance because I now know the condition of my old tap - very good and clean condition! Its also nice to have a more accurate location at the curb.I feel pretty good about it all.Thanks and Happy New Year!db

Mike Williams was very knowledgeable and friendly. He took the time to run through educating me a little more on heat pumps and how they work.Christina called ahead of time and confirmed who was coming and when they should arrive. As a single mom, I felt safe throughout the system checkup process with those confirmations ahead of time.

Mike Williams came today to check our heating system for routine maintenance. He did an excellent job. He is friendly, professional and thorough. Our hot water heater was having issues. I lucked up on calling McWilliams Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing. This company is very welcoming and prompt. They walk you through each step and do what they say.... very honest and upfront. They sent a very nice professional technician out by the name of Jessie Rose. We had family over. He was so knowledgeable about our issue. He gave us very helpful information about the hazards if we temporarily fixed it. I needed to hear the pros and cons. This company was amazing from start to finish. I would recommend their services to anyone & will use them in the future.We appreciate yall. You have an outstanding business.

Of all the years Ive been doing business with this company only one service technician was unfriendly. Other than that one, all of there guys are open and friendly. Theyre very thorough and extremely accommodating. And I love the companys monthly membership. Twice a year, someone comes out and does a check up on my system. This time the guy added a little more insulation and taped off some wires. We talked about filter ratings and what they meant. He even knelt down on the floor and loved on my dogs! And I have 12 dogs! For me thats saying a lot about a persons character.

Jesse was very nice and helpful. He noticed the inside unit needed to be screwed down to the shelf it was sitting on because there was an air gap left from installation. He took it upon himself to fix that. I really appreciated his thorough inspection.

We needed extensive work done on our HVAC system and from the moment Austin Christmas and Jace Champion arrived at our home. I knew this was going to be a good experience. When they got out of the van, they were in matching uniforms that were clean, stain free and pressed, they greeted us with a smile and went over the work that needed to be done. This was early in the morning. Austin and Jace spent the entire day and into the evening going about their work explaining along the way what they were doing and why it was necessary in terms we understood. As with any task it’s not how you begin but how you finish and that was also very impressive. They asked for cleaning supplies, swept, mopped and vacuumed around the house to make sure they left absolutely not a speck of dirt or dust for us to deal with. You can tell they Took pride in their work and cared about what they do. They obviously have a good manager because they were courteous, well trained, meticulous i and very proud of the work that they do. highly recommend McWilliams & Son .

Mike Williams was perfect in the service call for my heating system. Everything is in good shape. He recommended some work but nothing urgent. He also noticed a problem with the water heater that a service person will look at tomorrow.

The technicians were wonderful! I had the luxury of working with Trey and Ivan. Trey answered any and all questions, and he got my stuff fixed quickly and efficiently. He also built rapport with me which helps me feel a little more comfortable with him doing work in my home. Both Ivan and Trey were very friendly and nice to my children. Only issue I had is on the first day, the tech was running extremely behind (5 hours) and nothing was ever communicated to us about until the tech was on his way. I had to call the office to find out what was going on.

Jessie Rose was amazing! He showed up so fast and got our emergency handled - he even cleaned up the flooded water! He was so kind, friendly, honest and professional! He gave a quote but then completed the job in less time and took some off the bill!! Way to under promise and over deliver! I would highly recommend this company and Jessie!

Fast, honest company. Rusty was professional, informative, and extremely knowledgeable. And while Rusty is killing it on the AC & Heat side, Jessie came out a few months back from the plumbing side and had everything repaired in an hour. Each service that they provide, and we have used, we’ve been thoroughly satisfied.

We had excellent service from the salesman, Mike Kimbrough; the installers, Brando and Justice and to Tavo for coming out and helping us with a minor issue and explained the new thermostat! They all worked extremely hard and efficiently. They cleaned up when they were finished with the installation. I would recommend them! We had two units installed this week during the bad weather and they never complained! Great group of guys!

My experience with McWilliams has always been great. Especially with their technician Austin Christmas, who is a very polite and helpful individual when I comes to his job.

Raymond and David came out and fixed and replaced shut off valves in whole house as well as pipes and hoses and all new sinks in bathrooms and a new shower/tub and kitchen sink. They were so nice plus they made everything look so pretty but better yet sturdy and durable. I also love that they could print me out a receipt real quick out of their van instead of having to wait on a long written one. thanks a lot you guys are awesome and my parents will be calling y’all shortly for something’s at their house.

I had austin and jace come out today to do a heating system inspection. While here austin noticed some sagging coming from a return vent and fixed it immediately. They were both very friendly, and very thorough. After the inspection they went through everything they checked with me and explain any issues, but did not try and sell me on any unnecessary repairs.

Mike came to my moms today and diagnosed her AC unit problem. He was very nice and professional. We all felt very comfortable with him. He was very informative and knowledgeable. Thanks, Mike! We look forward to getting the new system.

Technician was very professional and did a very thorough check of our HVAC unit both indoors and outdoors. Made several recommendations but also made the needed repairs to keep our unit working.

Broken PVC Tee fitting on main water line on a late Friday evening. Called and CJ was at my house within 1.5 hrs. Had water back on line within an hour. My experience with Michael Kimbrough was friendly , professional, thorough and honest. Enjoyed his visit..The system was installed on 11/22/2024 as scheduled. The crew was here as scheduled on time and completed their on time as promised. The system was started and reviewed with me . Everything was working as promised . Mike and his co-worker did a fantastic job. He first came out to check our system and then returned to clean out our ducts. They were efficient and considerate of our home and personal items. They were also great with my animals. He stopped along the way to show me what they were doing as well as before and after pictures.

They called me back and came a day early, which was lovely and unexpected. The technician was excellent! He found the problem quickly fixed it and then continue to do a full service on the system. We have a plan for future maintenance and I could not be happier

The technicians called to see if they could come earlier, a hearty yes as that would allow me to still do my other chores. They were professional and quickly took care of the problem. A major plus, they cleaned the area and put everything as they found it.

Johnny and Juan were professional, knowledgeable, polite, and helpful. They were patient with me to allow me to clean behind a cabinet before putting it back in place after my gas valve was replaced on my hot water tank. I really appreciated their thoughtfulness.

If you’re needing an A/C or heating repair, DEFINITELY contact these guys. When me and my grandma were wondering who to call, we gave McWilliams a shot and they sent out a guy who came THE SAME DAY as when we called! He gave a diagnostic test, told us the problem and we were already sold. Come a few days later they took care of everything all in a matter of 2-3 hours. We have heat again yay! Also give their membership a shot, you save a lot of money and remain up to date on any future repairs you may need. 100% would recommend and shoutouts to Wade and Brandon for their help! 🙏

Pedro and Jose worked all day to completely replace our HVAC system. They went out of their way to protect my floors and rugs, keep us informed, replacing everything needed to thoroughly update the system. After working hard to fit the system into the existing space, they worked to verify there were no leaks coming from the roof vents. We could not have been more pleased with the skill, professionalism, and excellent communication they demonstrated throughout this job. Mike Williams stayed in contact with us as the job was being completed, answering final questions.Great company! Great employees!

I believe the techs name was Jessie, he was great! Check everything out and got our ac up and running again in no time. Very happy with the service weve had , been using this company since 2017!

Since McWilliams and Sons took over Nacogdoches Sheet Metal the customer service has gone through the roof. We have had two different techs at our house. Jessie got my system fixed in the beginning of summer and worked hard keeping us in the loop when parts took longer than expected. He truly cared that our young daughter was in the hot house and did everything he could. Tavo came to do our scheduled system check and went through our system with a fine tooth comb! He explained any issues to me in a way that made sense, had a great attitude, wore a smile the whole time, and really went the extra mile. He gave my outside unit a good cleaning and explained everything I could do to keep my system running longer more efficiently.

McWilliams came to my 1,300 sq ft home and then gave me a quote for a new install. We discussed a 2.5 ton or 3 ton unit and I advised I would do the duct work since it was a remodel and not suitable for standard ducts. They sent me a quote for a 3.5 ton unit (too big for a well-insulated home) for $13,000! I emailed back and said I wasnt interested. I happened to run into the man who came to my house and he asked about the quote. I told him I was still in sticker shock. He advised he thought most of the cost was for installing the ductwork....which I had said I would do. Maybe they misunderstood something (note they upsized the unit beyond what we discussed AND included duct installation which I didnt request (nothing in the quote about doing the duct work)) but everyone else I have spoken with has given me a similar experience. Sure looks like McWIlliams is trying to overcharge folks by a LOT. Im getting an install done by a different installer for $6,200 for a 2.5 ton unit. Do your research! The unit they quoted me can be found online for around $4,000.

We have to give a shout out to Jose and Pedro!! We lost our AC and they came out and installed our new one, there was a lot of work put into it and my husband and I are so very pleased!! Logan came out and fixed problems he was so respectful and caring! He worked hard to get us what we needed at an affordable price! They all are so very professional! Guys you rock! Octavia C. (Tavo) came out and repaired our a/c unit. He was prompt and courteous and got right to work checking out the unit. He listened to my suggestions and answered my questions with professionalism. I was very pleased Tavo was our repairman. I would recommend that you ask for him by name if you have the need.

Octavio C. was our serviceman for a checkup and cleaning on our heating system. He did a great job. We will ask for Octavio again in the future. We appreciated the dispatcher, Christina, for keeping us informed about the schedule.

Austin Christmas is an HVAC guru. I was afraid I was going to be out thousands of dollars for a new system but he replaced a condenser coil? torque converter? flux capacitor or some such other part. I have no idea but he got my system up and running again on the cheap.

We purchased a unit from McWilliams and Son a couple of years ago and were told by the agent that the unit is more than enough to cool our home. Unfortunately, even with the unit running constantly the temperature in the house still climbs. We have to run fans pointed directly at us to stay cool during the day now that I am working from home. That’s with all lights and tvs off. With those on the temp climbs even more.When I reached out to them about this they want to charge service fees to come out even though they were just out 2 weeks ago. Just doesn’t seem right. The whole reason we bought a new unit with warranties was to avoid unexpected charges as we are on a tight budget.As of 10/25/24 No one has contacted me regarding this reviewI was contacted and a technician was sent to address the issue on 10/29. Unfortunately I won’t know until summer if the issue is resolved but the technician, Austin, was great and I appreciate the effort to make things right.

They made sure to lay mats due to a rainy, muddy day. As well, they cleaned up after themselves. Before starting they explained the installation, asked about location of our outside vent they had chosen was to our satisfaction. After installing, made sure we had knowledge of future filter needs. Very polite and professional. Two more employees who are a credit to McWilliams. McWilliams, your consistency in star employees is to be commended.

There was an initial issue but the Mcwilliams and Son team immediately not only addressed my concerns but went the extra mile to ensure that I was being taken care of, and that I was comfortable and felt good about everything and I was. I truly feel completely comfortable and saying that this is the best eating and cooling company in East Texas. They truly stand by either companies name and its reputation.The technician that came out to repair The AC was probably the most professional, focused and efficient individual I’ve ever met. From the beginning, he was all business, but not so much that he was not able to take the time to be friendly and communicating. What will he was doing and how it was going to improve, the efficiency and function of the heating and cooling of the home in total. I will always use this company over any other and I will request that Jesse be the one to come out and perform any maintenance or repair needed.

Brandon was very professional and knowledgeable. Gave us some options and had pictures to show why. Nothing pressing just something we might need in the future. As always we were very pleased with the service.

Non compassionate office personnel when I have spent almost $20k on a water heater and hvac and the monthly service fee. The water heater is 6 months old and has already had a circuit board replaced. Who cares if warehouse closed for holiday- find one but I’m not convinced it’s a part that’s needed- I think the water heater is faulty and needs to be replaced but no one listening to me

Making an appointment and follow up the day of the appointment was fast and helpful.The services provided are very professional and all questions are answered.The technician, Tavo, is not only knowledgeable and professional but a very personable guy.I have already requested that Tavo will return to my home for any calls for service.I am adding to this Review since I just had my system check for the upcoming winter weather.Tavo did the same Five Star service in checking everything and letting me know what he did and the condition of my system.But I have to add that the person who handles the calls for service and organizes the schedule is marvelous. Weve been working with McWilliams for a while and weve always been happy with their service. Weve never felt pressure or had any hard sell offers. Theyve always been honest, and worked within our budget. Theyve been reliable and on-time. We are on their subscription service plan and its proven to be worth the money. All the service people that have come to our home have been friendly and respectful, and they take the time to explain and answer any questions. I highly recommend this company. (HVAC replacement, pipe replacement under foundation) Jesse Anderson did the HVAC replacement (awesome guy!)Had to replace water heater today. Service by Noah G. was top-notch! A plumber was dispatched within an hour and we were pleasantly surprised when Jesse showed up to take care of our problem. We have had a big concern regarding our air conditioning unit because it is really old! We had another company come out to service it and basically did nothing. Austin came out today (on a Saturday) and took his time looking at EVERYTHING! He spent precious time explaining everything that he looked at to us. He was very professional, patient by answering all of our questions, and courteous. Now we know why so many of our neighbors use this wonderful company! We highly recommend them!

These guys that did the install of a/c heating system did a very good and professional job.They showed up on time, removed old system and had new system up and running ahead of time. I watched the install and when I had questions they gave me the answers.All new a/c heating systems are expensive now days but my replacement was needed and I am very happy with my new system and the warranty that came with it

Technicians Jessie R and Matthew P performed very detailed, complete and efficient membership complimentary plumbing and HVAC inspections at our home this morning. It is a great preventative measure for avoiding unknown problems. They both visited the attic and throughout the house taking pictures and sharing them with us. They also provided information on improvement upgrades and possible problem prevention ideas we might consider. They were very informative yet not pushy. I needed repairs on my furnace. They were timely, efficient, and knowledgeable. Explained things very well. I would definitely recommend them.

I called on a Friday and made an appointment for Monday, thinking my AC would act right over the weekend. It did not. I called back to request emergency service and everyone worked very hard to fit me into their busy weekend schedule. The customer service reps/dispatchers were great at staying in communication with me and very sweet. The technician, Octavio, arrived at my house early Sunday morning and had the issue diagnosed and fixed quickly. I am grateful for their professionalism and will absolutely use them again.

Called them out last year for the same problem i had this year, technician told me everything was fine with my system, comes this year and had the same problem with my house not cooling, Technician came out twice and told me my ducts were fine and that my system is just really old, 2 weeks later my unit gave out, got it replaced; 3 days passed my house still wasn’t cooling, they finally told me my airflow was being blocked and that i was using the wrong duct material.I personally feel like this could’ve been avoided if this company had employees who actually knew what they were looking atNot even that they told the bank the work was complete before they even finished the work, so i had to finance the duct work under a different loan, so now im stuck with a $12,000 and a $3,500 loan.i wouldn’t have had to replace my a/c unit if only they looked at my ducts the first time, not even that they went under my house and said everything was clear

Tavo came out and fixed us up after having issues with our AC for years. Ive been told by numerous people theres nothing wrong with my unit, but it stays 78-80 in my house if its even a little warm outside. To put it mildly, our plumbing situation (and everything else) was, simply put, just weird, with a lot of problems. For a while, my mother kept telling me to call in the “SEAL TEAM” to help us; my mother had an affinity for the Seal Team TV Show, but was also a HUGE supporter of Veterans. I felt the closest I could get to bringing in the SEAL TEAM, was to call in the Navy - - Veterans (McWilliams history is centric to Veterans, with a Naval sailor here, and a Marine there…) and boy howdy, it’s the best decision I could have ever made.I went in to their local office, and saw a lot of happy employees, who were all so polite; Kayleigh listened to the issues, carefully noting each one (and their were a lot), and the appointment was set. The day of, I asked Kayleigh if I had time to go to Walmart before the plumber arrived, she said yes, and then before sending Jessie, she contacted me to make sure I was back from Walmart (this care to detail is what makes a company great).Jessie arrived, and was so professional; he went through all the issues, and came up with a very reasonable, and cost effective, solution (the more issues you have, the better the cost); Jessie did an excellent job on everything!Now, the Water Heater was just weird, defied all logic, and Jessie had to call in some of his Team for help (it started leaking rust from an interior hole, and the rusty water kinda made the tile floor look like a crime scene); Jessie and his Team swooped in, cleaned it up perfectly, and the weird beast (Water Heater) was safely hauled away.We are very happy with Seal Team Nac (Jessie and his Team), and they will be with us through out all renovations and remodeling - thank you!————Update; it’s 3 months later, and I called McWilliams Seal Team Nac again for help with a crazy toilet that we (non-plumbers) just could not fix, no matter how hard we tried; every time we thought it was fixed, it was secretly running when we weren’t looking.The previous Beast fix put a dent in the high water bill, but it was clear, that something leaky was still afoot (or aflipper?).This time I got to speak with Seal Team Nac’s Overwatch (Overwatch, like in the TV show Seal Team, or the show Arrow); I learned the truth about why Plumbers make good money, it’s because they know how to interpret the “thing-a-ma-jig,” and that “do-hickey” coming out of the wall.The nice folks answering the phones at Overwatch said “I’m transferring you to Raymond, because he’s an expert at figuring things out (thank you Raymond); ah ha, the “do-hickey” is a “turn off valve” aka “emergency stop.” (Note; if your do-hickey is broken, get it fixed; otherwise you can’t stop the toilet from secretly running when you’re not looking!)Once again, Seal Team Nac’s Jessie replaced the Toilets innards (I felt like I was watching a Surgical Procedure), and he also replaced the do-hickey - - I mean shut off valve.Thank you Seal Team Nac and Overwatch!

This time in particular, Noah took care of us and did a fantastic job. His expertise and advice for future projects was worth its weight in gold. Noah G. did an AMAZING job with my dad’s plumbing. Not only was he very thorough with explaining possible reasons (an older septic tank, his caregivers’ use of flushable wipes…etc) but Noah also took his time to show me with his tablet that all the lines were cleared. After everything was taken care of, Noah then guided me with where to locate his main capped off line coming from outside dad’s home. Naturally it was buried in tons of grass and dirt but I was then able to mark it for future use. I cannot thank Noah G., Christine, and Liz enough for getting that taken care of as quickly as they did. Thank you all so much!

I needed my AC fully replaced. From quote to the end of the replacement McWilliams made the process easy and stress free. They have great financing options and even argued with the home warranty people because they just wanted to replace a part when the whole thing obviously needed replacing. Jesse is the one who came to do the estimate and he was the best. Knowledgeable and eager to help. Even got our new AC in the very next day! Logan and Pedro were the ones who put the new AC in. They were friendly and respectful. They put down plenty of stuff to protect the floor and worked efficiently. After the new units were put in they worked tirelessly to clean up after themselves. McWilliams has my business and they should have yours too.

We could not have ask for a better plumbing technician than Jesse Rose. We came home yesterday evening to a hot house. Tavo came out and within 20 minutes he was able to identify the issue. He explained what the part was that malfunctioned and went to his van and got a new one for us. We were back up and running in no time. Overall a great experience!

Samuel as always is fantastic at what he does. Super thorough and was very helpful in explaining what went wrong with my ac drain line. Uncovered that Katy plumbing and Champion Restoration did a terrible job making sure my original AC drain line was connected properly after the mold remediation I went through with them. The new line Sam installed is excellent and shows the technical execution that shows his experience. I was satisfied dealing with this company. I was able to get in touch with the answering service quickly, 2 days in a row, and able to confirm an appointment reservation the second day. The technician showed up shortly after I was called to be informed of their arrival. Octavio was very polite and efficient and had my AC running shortly after arrival. He checked the rest of my system, told me of other concerns, and wasnt pushy about the upsales. Not looking forward to needing them to come back out, but they will be my first call when my AC goes out.

Had a water leak show up on Friday called and their tech Noah G came out Saturday morning dug and found the leak and replaced the crack pipe and had me good to go in a couple of hours. Another awesome experience with McWilliams and Sons. Jessie completed my annual summer maintenance a couple of months ago and left a lasting impression on me. Then two days ago, in the heat of the summer, I come home to rumbling coming from my AC. Jessie was dispatched again and took made the repair in record time. Mike Williams of McWilliams answered my service call Sunday evening to investigate why my a/c system was not cooling. Mike determined the problem, reset the system and had the a/c system running properly in a few minutes. In our discussion of my system installed 8 months ago, Mike suggested the addition of surge protection to minimize a recurrence of conditions which may have created this event. Mike explained the benefits of surge protection on the operation of the sensitive computer components. Mike knows hvac systems and thoroughly explained the simple installation of surge protection and the effect it could have toward extending the useful life of my system. Mike is a valuable technician representing a very reputable hvac company. Thanks McWilliams! Excellent service.To follow up, McWilliams technician Mike Williams returned today to complete the installation of surge protection on my 2 HVAC units. Both devices, made in the USA and warrantied for 10 years, were installed successfully with a followup test to ensure proper operation . After my inquiry, Mike discussed in detail the benefits of a few optional items which would provide me further protection from inconvenient events related to any HVAC component failure. As a result of our conversation and at my request we installed a recommended drain float switch that I felt would give me protection from any drain pan malfunction that could affect my home structure. I am further satisfied that I am protected from events affecting my property with the experience and skills of McWilliams HVAC services. I can indeed say they are not comfortable until I am! I am more comfortable today than yesterday. Thank you Mike Williams.

We were having trouble with our AC and called McWilliams and Son. We got same day service and the technician, Octavio, was absolutely amazing. He was very upfront and honest with us about this issues with our unit, he was exceptionally friendly and answered every question we had. I would say that he offered us the best customer service that Ive ever had. After all was said and done, we scheduled for them to replace our AC unit.I very much look forward to continuing to do business with McWilliams and Son. He explained the issues clearly and candidly ( I like candor) but politely. He installed a Wi-Fi thermostat and walked me through the app set up quickly and easily over the phone. Mr. Noah came out to my house for a plumbing issue. I was highly pleased with his workmanship and attitude. Called on Monday afternoon and Noah was hear on Tuesday before lunch. Don’t think I could have gotten a better response time with any other company. Would highly recommend McWilliams and Son to anyone looking for HVAC or Plumbing services. We had a technician come out to look at an issue with our well house. While he showed up timely, he immediately told us it was an electrical issue, charged us $80 and left. Our electrician came out, told us it was indeed NOT an electrical issue. When we called McWilliams back, they told us they do not work on well houses. Crickets since.

They have sent techs to maintain my system at least twice a year since and have been the best people and best service when I needed work done. The company does do quality work. However, their business model is based on encouraging service contracts that provide opportunities for them (technicians/salesforce) to pressure you into replacement of your HVAC unit. Hence, be prepared for a strong sales pitch with each and every service visit. You will need to do your own research after each visit to determine the veracity of their claims. This becomes tiresome and weighs on you. They are master swindlers! Buyers beware.In all, I would only recommend them for a one-and-done type of job. I do NOT recommend them for continued service and maintenance.
