Strickland Plumbing & HVAC

Has plumbing backup on a Thursday and called a plumbing company. They stayed for several close to an hour and left with my plumbing was still blocked.... ...... Charged me full price. Were coming an try something else after weekend. Called Strickland instead. They came right out....... Blasted my drains clean........ It was cheaper than the previous plumber VERY NICE AND EFFICIENT workers. I was very satisfied.

We had a problem with our furnace not coming on consistently which caused a cycle of heating then cooling and using a lot of propane. Strickland sent out James and he diagnosed and solved our problem. I would highly recommend Strickland for your heating needs. Very friendly and competent people.

The ladies I dealt with were great, no issues, and took care of everything promptly. Great price offered right off. But I wish they had told me my 750 gallon system may take more than one load. Knowing up front is always better and not having surprises. This is why I only gave 4 stars, other than that everything was done promptly and satisfactorily. Thanks

The plumber had given an estimate for service, but wasn’t able to fix the problem. We were charged full price and the problem wasn’t fixed and I’m being told that money paid wouldn’t go towards fixing the problem because the plumber stayed a long time at house. This company was paid years ago to replace all pipes in house and now we are being told pipe may be collapsed. It does no good to call a certified plumber if you have to go behind them to check their work. What ever happened to being trustworthy?

Strickland Plumbing saved my bacon this morning with a quick response to my call. I had broken sprinklers and a tank that needed emptying and their response time and customer service was superb!! I highly recommend to anyone with septic needs.

I woke up this morning to find I had a broken water pipe. I called Strickland plumbing and they were here in a timely manner and repaired my pipe and insulated it for me. Both plumbers were very nice and friendly. I highly recommend them for your plumbing needs.

We were thankful to find a plumber that would come out after hours on a Friday night! He quoted the price ahead of time so we would know what to expect. After hours pricing is high but we had no choice and were thankful to get the water leak fixed by a previous Marine. Good guy!

Septic tank was spot on price wise, to remove a toilet and replace a flange gasket and tank parts for 983.00 was way to high you can buy New toilet at lowes for 310.00. Service wise and courtesy was good though.

My mother had a very difficult job and these guys they were top-notch they came, they worked until they were gave out, but they got the water leak fixed. And my 88-year-old mother is happy. She did not have water to her home for almost a month. Thank you, Strickland Plumbing .

Will NEVER use Strickland again! Horrible. Wanted $900.00 to snake two drains that were not clogged. Wanted to do it as a precautionary measure before installing new toilet and tub. We have used you before and rates were reasonable. Lost our business and I will share my story with friends here in Lufkin. Terrible way to operate a business.

Found myself in an emergency situation with a failed septic system and control panel. In the blistering heat, Caleb came out on a Sunday and got us going again. That, by itself, was a big deal. But, more impressive, was the time Caleb took to troubleshoot, repair, and explain the multiple issues that caused our problems. Caleb was pleasant, patient, and polite. Communication skills with this company is horrible, they walked off without telling me what all they did or were gonna do. They also said some pipes needed to be replaced in my original estimate and then tacked it onto my 2nd one for other work that they needed to do, they are frauds and highly suggest going elsewhere for any plumbing OR Hvac needs. I definitely wanted a new Carrier HVAC System, so called the company I had been told had been the dealer for many years. This company told me they no longer represented Carrier and tried to sell me an inferior system. A little research indicated that Strickland Plumbing & HVAC was the new Carrier Dealer. They were extremely helpful and gave me a price that was much less than the price offered by the previous dealer. I signed a contract with Strickland and they have been WONDERFUL! Their installers were very friendly and did excellent quality work. They even cleaned up everything and fully tested the entire system before they left. I couldnt be happier. I can certainly understand why Carrier has changed to Strickland to represent them. I would highly recommend Strickland AND Carrier, to anyone who needs a new HVAC system, OR needs help with their existing system. In my opinion, you cant go wrong by calling Strickland.

We had some septic work done and Strickland was great to work with. They were easy to book, called ahead in the scheduled date confirming arrival and showed up on time. Left the site cleaned up. Cannot ask for more!

Its been an experience!!! Polite, courteous, professional, and a crew with a good sense of humor. From the telephone call to the finishing the project.

I told them where the access was to the problem, but they did not listen and wasted over an hour cutting a huge hole into the wall in the wrong place. Once they cut where I originally told them they were in in 10 minutes. They left a HUGE mess of drywall and insulation piled up and did not offer to clean it up or fix it the hole. They were very misleading about how much they would charge me. Would not recommend.

I rarely ever leave reviews, but this one is very special. I have to say the biggest hank you to Strickland plumbing for coming right out to our house when I had water all over the garage and we had no idea where it was coming from. Initially, we all thought that we were going to have to go under the slab for repairs. Jesse and William told us not to worry that they were going to explore every single possibility before we went that route because that is very costly and they wanted to explore all other routes first. I cannot brag enough about how hard these young men worked. They went over every square inch of our house. They found the problem. They worked fast and efficient and were just so kind and an absolute pleasure to be around. Strickland plumbing has a wonderful reputation in Lufkin and now I see why first-hand. Excellent service! We had the Nuflo system installed and all three guys were great!! Bryce explained everything I could expect during installation and was well versed on the system itself. They worked long hours for several days to make sure everything was running properly and that we were satisfied. Great work and I will certainly use Strickland Plumbing again!

Fast, friendly and efficient. I had a clog preventing my washing machine from draining properly. The guys from Strickland plumbing we able to snake the line and clear the clog in a matter of about 15-20 minutes.

We had a serious plumbing situation caused by a large root blocking our original clay pipe.Strickland Plumbing & HVAC sent Blake, their estimator, the next morning who explained what needed to be done and gave us an estimate. Then, he spent over an hour with us waiting for our Home Warranty to decide not to cover the repair. He made sure the necessary parts were ordered and set up the repair for the next business day. He is efficient, professional and personable. The repairmen arrived about 10:00am. They cut out the old clay pipe and replaced it with PVC pipe and made sure the sewer pipe was clear all the way to the citys line in less than 2 hours. Well done guys!Their work is guaranteed for 1 year as opposed to the normal 90 days by other companies.We highly recommend Strickland Plumbing & HVAC and their employees, for plumbing problems and we will call them again not only for plumbing problems but for heating and cooling issues as well.

Strickland installed our aerobic system and does the regular maintenance. Have always had excellent service from them. They pumped the septic tank today and did an excellent job. Tank was very clean when finished, unlike some other companies. Very professional and on time too. Highly recommend!

Power outage reset our hvac system smart thermostat to factory settings. I wasn’t able to reprogram it properly. Called Strickland, had a tech out in a matter of hours. 5 minutes later, system was up and running. Huge shout out to Tyrel for getting it going again and being one of the nicest guys I’ve met. Great customer service all around.

Offered unnecessary plumbing work and an overpriced quote. Ridiculous. They wanted $330 to replace a sink faucet. Paid them their $85 site visit fee and showed them the door. Went to Lowe’s, bought a $40 sink faucet kit and replaced it myself. They wanted $700 for other minor jobs that were less challenging. Will never call them again.

I had a new septic control panel installed after our old one gave way.everything went great and all questions were answered. I would recommend JJ for install. Very knowledgeable and he went the extra mile pulling the pump out as well to clean the filterThey do have a service program which would have saved around 10 percent. I think if this had been shopped around there could have been some savings. The total cost for the installation of a new panel was around $1,040. The panel was likely around $400-$500 from web research. There was an $80 service fee and the balance would be the install cost. So the labor for install was around $200 per hour plus a service fee

Dakota was amazing from the get go. I called thanksgiving evening after our water heater bursted after our dinner. He was the only person to answer and offer help. We live in Center and they are located in Lufkin so they were unfortunately unable to come out that night but he and his coworker Jason came early the next morning. They were so friendly to my fiancé and our 2 year old son. They were professional and efficient. He even offered to clean up the water mess and gave us a $100 coupon on the spot. They didn’t leave until they made sure the water heater was perfectly installed. Dakota also had great communication the whole way through, keeping me updated with texts and calls. So happy and appreciative of their service! They really came through.12/23/23 my dad called Strickland plumbing as we noticed our water was not getting hot until about 10 minutes of wasting after we just had it recently replaced. My dad called Strickland and someone other than Dakota came and it was not the same experience after sitting back and realizing the first visit was way over priced. The other associate said we had another issue that was not found on the first visit, and the fact that we were told it would be another $2,000 like the first visit if we wanted it installed. Really disappointing.
