Texas Ace Heating & Air

This company installed the HVAC system where I live. Within 5 years of living here, I have had to call them 4 times for repairs on the parts that were installed as a part of the original installation. Each time was about $400 minimum. The last technician that worked on my system, also left quite a mess on the floor when he was done. There are better companies out there, stay away from these guys, unless you want a new recurring repair bill.

Awesome and new go-to HVAC company. Called on a wiring issue that was frying smart thermostats (like 3 times!). Came out promptly, ran tests, and fixed the issue (which another HVAC company failed to resolve on two prior visits). Nathan was great, knowledgeable, and the overall price was very reasonable.

The contractor came to inspect and “fix” the HVAC problem of it blowing out cold air during the coldest time of the year, making a loud buzzing sound, and a paint scent. He claimed on the first visit he didn’t find anything but told my mom that he changed the coil. On the second visit he claimed that he checked the refrigerant and would replace the coil. He never fixed the problem. I’ve talked to his supervisor and he said it’s nothing he can do. They never tried to fix the problem. The supervisor never stated that he would come out and investigate and fix the problem. Horrible service and the contractor lied.

From start to finish, our experience was nothing short of amazing! We needed a brand-new HVAC unit installed, and their team made the entire process effortless.From the moment we reached out, their sales team was professional, knowledgeable, and never pushy—just genuinely helpful in guiding us toward the best system for our home (Ive had several experiences with overly-pushy HVAC companies). The communication was seamless, and they were always quick to respond to any questions we had.When it came to installation, the technicians were on time, extremely courteous, and clearly experts at what they do. They worked efficiently and left everything spotless when they were done. The entire install process was smooth, and the difference in our homes comfort is night and day!We’ve dealt with other HVAC companies in the past, and unfortunately, those experiences were frustrating—delays, poor communication, and pushy sales tactics. Texas Ace Heating & Air was the complete opposite! It’s rare to find a company that delivers outstanding service at every level, but Texas Ace Heating & Air absolutely nailed it! Highly recommend!

Victor was great to work with. He walked me through my current AC issues and the solutions he could provide. Did a great job with install and getting new unit. Fast, clean, efficient and very knowledgeable. Will use Texas Ace Heating and AIR going forward.

We are so grateful to David P. at Texas ACE for fixing our AC issue. We had a loud noise issue for more than 6 months on our new construction home that no one could figure out! I’ve been a customer of Texas Ace going on 2 years now, and the “amazing” customer service is pretty awesome!!! I’ll probably forget some of them, but Brianna, Shelby, Celeste, always go way above and beyond getting me squared away!! Last but definitely not least, Richard my AC tech is 2nd to none OUTSTANDING!!! This gentleman doesn’t miss a beat in explaining in detail what he’s doing to my unit to run very smoothly and definitely efficiently as well!!! Our A/C unit outside was making lot of noise and we called the Texas Ace Heating and Air to address it. They were really nice over the phone and immediately dispatched a tech to address the issue. Tech came and found that motor was heating fastly and making the bang noise. The technician Moses Herrera was a thorough professional he has a good knowledge of HVAC. He replaced the motor and the pallet. Now there is less noise. I would give 5 Starts to Moses Herrera. He is very prompt and knowledgable

Texas Aces customer service needs some work. I scheduled a new construction air balance on 10/14, and was told to expect a technician from 8-12, but what I received instead was a phone call from a man that clearly didnt read his paperwork before calling. He didnt know the street name, or my name. The last time that I checked, my name is not Lee. He then informed me that he was calling to schedule an appointment for a technician to perform the balance instead of getting one completed today. Why would I need to be at the property from 8-12 for a phone call? I spoke with Lauren and Erin to try to get everything figured out, and Ill happily update my review once things get squared away.

I bought a new build where the AC system was installed by Texas Ace. I was supposed to have a technician come and check the air balance between noon and 4pm today. Its past 7pm and he still isnt here. No call from the company or the technician to provide any update of if / when I can expect him.Update: technician never showed up and no follow-up call from Texas Ace to update or reschedule.Update 2: Texas Ace called to apologize for what happened. They rescheduled and the technician came by on time and resolved the issue. Changing my rating to 5 stars.

Texas Ace Heating & Air installed our HVAC system when the home was built in 2019. We have had them come out several times to diagnose and repair some minor, and unfortunately, major issues. Their techs have all been very friendly and professional and thoroughly document and explain whatever the issue is and any remedies available. Let’s be honest, nobody ever wants to have an HVAC company come out, because likely your heat or AC quit working at the most inconvenient time possible and it’ll certainly cost a bunch of money you didn’t plan for. However, these guys at least make the process as pleasant as possible and stand behind their work.

Moses Herrera was exceptional when he serviced our HVAC. We’ve used them for over a year and highly recommend this company!

Let me start off with the positive comments: Texas Ace is very friendly and professional. I did not have an issue with anyone specifically. They were receptive to the issues I was having with my HVAC.Cons that I have encountered:I have been dealing my HVAC not distributing air correctly for months now. They have come out at least 6 times to fix our HVAC but still have had issues. Since then I have been extremely patient I have called many times but they have not come to fix our A/C . It takes our house 6 hours (sometimes longer) to cool our house down. When we turn the A/C down the temperature goes up. I have tried to be reasonable and understanding but enough is enough. Not having A/C work correctly through the summer is brutal. Apparently we have the most complicated HVAC in Texas because they cannot figure out whats wrong. That is probably why I havent received much response or help from them. I have called to get an update and their response has always been expect a call at the end of the week. Still waiting...Thankfully it is starting to get a little cooler outside and only takes about 3 hours to cool down the house. Not too satisfied with their help and urgency. Will contact our builder to see if they can do anything about the lack of help from this company.

I cant say enough good things about Shawn Bell and his crew of installers and techs. Shawn was not only willing to explain the technical aspects of the two new systems he engineered for us, but he even setup calls with manufacturer reps for things he wasnt familiar with so I could have my technical questions answered directly from the manufacturer.The installers took great pride in their work too. Everything was very neatly installed and every part Texas Ace used was top quality. no corners were cut.Their prices are also very competitive. Again, I cant say enough good things about Texas Ace. Ive referred them to friends who also had similarly good experiences.After the install, our 18 yr old house is now more comfortable than the new houses weve owned over the years.

Chose this company as required by the home builder and requirement for system warranty. Tech installed a pipe that blocked my access to the filter. Tech changed new air filter “just because” and lacked professionalism. Left stains on my walls from leaning and dropped tool bag on my floors. Manager won’t replace filter that was unnecessarily removed and told me I need to tell each tech not to replace new filters with no debris or dirt.

I spent over 15K getting my ac replaced a few years back. Now my coils are leaking in attic. When I called today,they told me they could be out this evening between 4 and 8 and then if it was the coils they would have to be ordered tomorrow so I asked how many days and the response was 5 to 7 days. Not acceptable. I won’t be using them ever again. I spent 1200 dollars yesterday with baker brothers to add Freon and do a leak test on the unit. And two hours later no AC. Thanks Texas ace for not doing a better job.

Took off work early to come meet the guy at my house. He didnt show up, didnt knock, Didnt ring the doorbell, And then when we asked, they said that he sat in our driveway for twenty minutes and then left

This was our first experience with Texas-Ace and it was great! Moe came to perform maintenance on our system to ensure it was running properly for the Texas heat. He was very thorough and told me what he was doing every step of the way. He made a few tweaks to optimize the system performance. Thanks Moe for helping to make this a wonderful experience with Texas-Ace. We will have you back in the fall.

I had an AC emergency and the technicians were dispatched promptly , they were very knowledgeable , professional and kind, so compassionate towards my situation and I cannot say thank you enough to them. God is working thru the folks at the company. Even the owner shows how much he cares about his customers. This is the best service I have received from any company hands down!

We bought a brand new home for our daughter which has the HVAC system installed by this company. We called yesterday because the system is not balancing and they transferred us to new construction department, and they said they would call back but never did. So we called back this am and encountered a rude person named Aaron. She was not willing to accommodate and said her first available was Sept 3rd. I am here with my daughter this week and requested someone for this week since my daughter is in school and cannot be present for a window of time they give and nevermind the hot and cold floors we have to live with this week. She was extremely rude about it and asked me to stop yelling which by the way I wasnt. I have a louder voice and obviously I got a little aggravated with her attitude.I was going to get a yearly maintenance contract with this company since they installed the system here, which I wont be getting if this is their customer service!I have used Airtron for last 10 years for our home and have had an great experience with their customer service.

Allegedly, this is the company my townhome community used to install the A/C units in our townhomes. Almost every single unit has had or is having A/C issues. Because these townhomes are four stories when one floor has leaks it shuts down the entire system. Roughly each year for the past 3 years I’ve had to replace some part of the system on each floor when these townhomes were built brand new less than 6 years ago. Of course they charge to come out and test the system for their own shotty work, repair it at an exorbitant price probably knowing they’ll be back in a couple of months to do it all again on another floor. Their trucks are parked outside our homes on at least a biweekly basis and at times it’s 2 trucks a week. I’d love to be in a business where I can screw up the install of a system and continuously get paid fixing it for years to come. Stay away from this company!!! One good thing: all of the techs have been very nice and understanding since they are out in our community on a continuous basis.

This company is beyond amazing. Moe Herrera is a magician when it comes to HVACs. Would recommend this company every day of the week and twice on Sundays. Everything from the professionalism to the constant communication is top notch. When I need my HVAC serviced, this company and Moe will be my primary call. Id give more than 5 stars if I could.

Moses and Jordan did our semi-annual furnace and air check today. We always request Moses because he is reliable, honest, and thorough. Today he had Jordan, a new company hire, with him. Jordan was also helpful and personable.We also decided to have an air scrubber installed on our furnace, which should help mitigate our problems.We highly recommend Texas Ace for Heating and Air service. John was very helpful today. Our heat went out this weekend. Another company came out and said pressure switches needed to be replaced. They cut the wires and bypassed them, which did not actually fix the issue and could have caused more problems. John explained that a refrigerant leak was causing the switches to shut the unit off. He will be back out to diagnose and fix the leak and replace the switches. We wish we would’ve called Tx Ace in the first place and not had to go through this whole ordeal. But we were very glad to have John today. He was professional, informative and provided a great customer service experience.

Stay far, far away from this place. Been in my new construction home for less than a year, and the number of times this company has had to come back to fix their work is ridiculous. If I had a do over, never in a million years would I choose this vendor.

Had them install a new system downstairs and everything seemed fine at first. Quickly realized our bedroom was 10 to 15 degrees warmer than the rest of the house. Called Shawn who sold the unit and he said it would be an easy fix and he would get right back with us. It’s been a month with numerous attempts and still nothing. With such a big investment and the promises that were made by the company I am highly unsatisfied with the level of service and the quality of work we’ve received. We also had an insurance claim that requires information from them and we have never received the information needed to send to the adjuster for reimbursement. I was also given two quotes before the install and had to argue with the company over the correct quote treating me like I was being dishonest with the price I paid. That’s inexcusable to me. This is not a reputable company and I regret choosing them to install a whole new system that I have no faith will last more than a few years. I will never use and will certainly never recommend them to anyone.

We are new to using Texas Ace , heating and air, but we could not be more pleased with the service we received from our technician Moses. Extremely friendly, very thorough and very informative on everything that we needed to do. He did an amazing job and made sure that everything was completed. Not only on our maintenance but a few other issues that needed to be fixed from moving into our new home. My AC hasn’t worked right since we bought our (brand new) house in 2017. I had several companies out who said they fixed it and charged me whatever amount they felt like. The problem was never fixed. I called a different company and they quoted me over $5000 to “fix” our problems. And would only be available during the off season. I finally found Texas Ace and called. I somehow, the Gods must have been shining down on me that day, got in touch with Shawn. He came to look at my system, ACCURATELY diagnosed the problem, told me he could easily fix it, AND at an insanely low price. He was so responsive, kind, and professional. I honestly didn’t know quality people and companies still existed. After they made the repairs, HE REACHED OUT TO ME to see how it was working. I said much better but now we are struggling with airflow in a different area. They came out again and fixed the airflow free of charge. I almost never write reviews but Shawn and Texas Ace are very deserving of every glowing review on here. Best experience I’ve ever had with any service company ever. Call them.

Zach Thomas was awesome and diagnosed the problem with our AC when no one else did. We have a 1 year old custom built home and it didnt cool last summer or this summer. Zach spent time analyzing the unit, our house plans, and the duct work in the attic. He worked with our builder to correct all of the problems and we have a cool house. The workers were also respectful and left minimal dust behind. I highly recommend Zach and Texas Ace Heating & Air!

Great service! Our AC went out late in the evening on a Friday in the heat of summer and with two babies we needed to get it working quick. Texas Ace sent out a tech early the very next morning. They did a great job with the repair and got it working before 10am.

We bought a new condo where Texas Ace was the HVAC contractor. There were many loose wires and uncovered insulation boots so the unit broke in the middle of the summer soon after we took ownership. As the tenants had a new baby and it was a hot summer day over a weekend, we hired our own AC person to reconnect the wires, knowing Texas Ace would need to do the permanant fix under warranty later. Texas Ace wanted to charge us for its visit as hiring our own person voided the warranty. Even though Texas Ace had the right to make this decision, its leadership certainly did not act in good faith to take into consideration their bad workmanship caused a brand new unit to malfunction and punish us for helping a baby.

We live in a 60 year old home and I think it may have still had the original system! (kidding)I only kid about that to say our entire system, inside and out, had to be replaced. Rick came first to see what all needed to be done and he was absolutely spot on! As a disabled person, the day they did the work came with quite a bit of anxiety for me but it didn’t have to. They arrived right on time and got right to work following Rick’s plan. These guys all worked as a team and i barely even knew they were here. When the finished up the cleaned up behind themselves some instructions on maintaining the system (frequency to change the filters, service maintenance suggestions, etc) and out they went. You couldn’t even tell they had been there!Since their installation, our home has been so nicely cooled when it was hot and heated the few days it’s been cooler.I will definitely recommend Texas Ace to me friends and family! After our 20 year old system finally went, Texas Ace was recommended to my husband and I by a coworker. Since booking our consultation we have had positive experience after positive experience. Phil and Chase both worked to make sure we got the units and installation we needed and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our experience. Joseph and Brian came out to complete the job, being sure we were happy with the air flow, and we understood every step along the way. We cant thank Texas Ace enough for helping cool our family this summer and many more to come! Thank you again, Phil, Chase, Joseph and Brian for being so kind and professional!

We are disappointed with the service received today. We have two units at our home. We find out this company installed them backwards (the upstairs unit ran the downstairs area and vice versa). Today repairs were completed to “fix” the issue; however now, our home isn’t cooling at all. We called the emergency phone number only to be told no one can come back out to fix/service again until tomorrow evening. 1) This is an issue they caused; 2) they made the situation worse; and 3) now no one is available to rectify the situation. It 110 degrees today, and now my family has to pack up to stay in a hotel tonight. I would absolutely not recommend this company. We’ve lost faith in this company and it’s workmanship/customer service. The only reason we continue to use them is because we live in a new build home that is warrantied with them for the next year.

My cooling pump would not heat my home. Jason came out and found a coil leak. Part was ordered and Jose and his partner replaced the coil. I now have heat. Everyone from the office to the technicians are very kind and professional. Thank you Texas Ace Heating and Air.

Hi there ... we are long-time customers of TX Ace. The guys who have come out have always been great. This week, we had our yearly maintenance done on our two units. John Singleton was fabulous ... he was so kind, courteous, knowledgeable, professional, and just a really nice guy. He put up with all my questions with great patience! He was also extremely detailed and conscientious about all the assessments he did on our units. LOL Huge kudos to John. TX Ace is fortunate to have him!! Highly recommend! Thank you!

Texas Ace quoted me $1,800.00 to fix my outside unit.Air Assurance came out and fixed it for $175.00April 25th: Marshall reached out and apologized. Offered to refund the service call fee and promised to retrain the technicians on quotes. I promised to update my review and now I have.

AC decided to quit working on a Friday after hours. I called Texas Ace and they came promptly on Saturday and fixed it. Martin was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Texas Ace for all your AC needs. I give 5 stars to both Martin and Texas Ace.

Today Texas Ace came to do my 6 month checkup on my new unit. Our Technician, Moses Herrera, notified us he was on his way and they were well within the window we were given. Moses was polite and professional, showing us how to change our filter for the future. He was very professional and demonstrated the upmost integrity. Our entire experience, from our installation a few months ago to the service today have been a pleasant and positive experience. I would highly recommend this company.

Ace is an incredible company!Three weeks ago my husband and I purchased a new home in Cleburne, TX from Heartland Home Builder LLC/Andrew Milliman, Burleson, TX. Since our purchase, I have called Ace twice regarding air flow being heavy (cold) in a couple of rooms and warmer in others. I understand this to be very normal on a new system. They came out promptly each time.Heres the most amazing part of this story: Unbeknownst to us, the builder had failed to pay Ace for services rendered on this property months prior to us purchasing the home. Ace never once said a word to me when I called and needed service. Unfortunately, Ace did have to file a mechanics lien affidavit claim with a lawyer. I was never aware of the significant outstanding balance until I was sent a certified letter by the lawyer, outlining the details of the claim. Technically, Ace could have denied providing us any service, but they did not! Not only did they provide us great service, every single person I have been in contact with has be amazing.Ace: Ethical, offers superb customer service and is a company worth doing business with!Diona

Thanks Texas Ace ! The Lady/staff members who took my call was very compassionate that my heating system wasnt working . She had a tech the same day within 6hrs of my call servicing the system. The tech Moe Herrera was the best very professional, kind and knowledgeable of the problem. The tech Moe H. did a diagnostic and installed a new motor within a hour 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 with todays low dropping to 30 degrees.

After 6 months of battling, they finally honored the manufacturers warranty only to create a new problem on a zoned system. Had they responded when we first requested, the Honeywell Zone Valve Actuator would have been covered under warranty as well. Now for the $175 service fee for a simple thermostat, we now have an issue with the zoning whereas this was never an issue before.

Service Tech James Blount came out today to check on our electric heat pump. He had it repaired and explained the process in no time! Thank you James and Texas Ace!

John came to our house and was so thorough. He fixed the problem with the unit...He explained everything...He was courteous and professional. He covered additional things such as warranty and registration that he didnt have to do. He truly went above and beyond. He was excellent, make sure to request John when you call. Thank you John for taking care of our home.

Ethan Choate fixed the heat pump which lost all of the refrigerant. He went above and beyond with the inspection and fixing the unit. He took time to diagnose the issue and did phenomenal job. Thank you for the service Ethan!

Richard & Rick came out to look at our unit, and were incredibly knowledgeable, nice and helpful. Our AC just died one day, and Texas Ace came to same us. Definitely chose these guys over the other 5 quotes we had! They came all the way up to Frisco for us. Installed a new AC unit two days later and got us up and running before the 100 degree weather hits. Professional opinions, and looking out for the customer. Trustworthy company!

Texas Ace does a great job. We are in a new house and they took over the warranty for the company that originally installed the system after the original installer went out of business. I have had a couple of small issues with the system and Texas Ace has scheduled the visits for both issues very quickly. In both cases they took care of the issues with accuracy and quickness. Both of the technicians were really nice and friendly as well.The first visit was from Heath and he replaced a burned out contact on a Sunday evening. He had us up a running in no time.The second visit was from Jonathan and he rebalanced our entire system to make sure all the rooms were cooling efficiently.I really recommend Texas Ace because they respond quickly and fix the problem as needed.

This company set a high bar for customer service for us today! Had issues caused by a “smart” thermostat. Called Texas Ace at 5:30 pm and they had a technician out within an hour. No joke. Our technician Jonathan did a fantastic job. Was professional, accurate, and HONEST. Quality work all around. No hesitation calling these guys again.

Texas Ace installed my HVAC on my new build home. I have heard lots of stories about how AC companies try to take advantage of a customers ignorance and over charge, be hard to reach, not fix the problem, etc. so I was pretty guarded when I called with an issue. I did not experience anything like that with Texas Ace. They have a super friendly staff that answers the phone quickly and is very responsive and courteous. They worked with my schedule and called and followed up when an availability came up. I had them come out and look into an issue with my thermostat and their technicians were very polite and knowledgeable. They have a system that will text you ahead of time to let you know who is coming to your house and at what time. I highly recommend them!

We had been having issues with our HVAC system for several years. Christmas evening, it started making very strange and loud noises. I called Texas Ace Heating & Air, on Thursday morning and talked with a very nice lady (Tracy), about getting a new unit. She said the owner, Phil would call us, even though he was off with his family. After talking with Phil, he said he would call one of his top engineers to make an evaluation & give us some options. In a few minutes, we received a call from Rick. He said he would see us Friday. What a wonderful re-assuring, professional individual. He confirmed all our suspicions on the condition of our unit. After careful examination and calculations, he suggested several things that could be done to help us get the heating & cooling we wanted. Monday morning, three very nice, professional young men were at our door. Within 7 hours the new unit (inside & out) was completely installed, everything in place, and total clean up. The new unit is awesome, no hot or cold spots, very quiet operation, and very efficient. We really appreciate all the concern and professionalism of the entire staff at Texas Ace. Highly Recommend ! Excellent Company. AC went out unexpectedly on Sunday. Called and even though they were busy explained our situation and they got a tech out to the house quick. The technician was very polite - he was wearing a mask and maintained social distancing guidelines - and he made sure his feet were clean before entering. Very knowledgeable. He took extra time to make sure we understood the problem and how to avoid in the future. This is the second time I have used this company and I definitely will be using them again. Highly recommend.

Hugo did an excellent job of diagnosing. My compressor was going bad. I didn’t want to believe him because of the cost of replacing it. The compressor started working again after it reset but within a month it went out again. Hugo was all over it and came out to replace my compressor under warranty and I just had to pay for the labor and the refrigerant thank you Texas Ace, heating and air for taking care of my home and my family. I’m a disabled vet and not having air conditioning made me feel like a failure to my family, not providing them air conditioning in the heat.

Moses Herrera from Texas Ace Heating & Air worked on my Warrenty service request. He was very professional and was very quick in diagnosing the issue. Builders did a bad job while installing the primary and secondary drains and the emergency tray was full of backwater. Moses Herrera fixed the drains, vacuum the water out and was kind enough to educate me on the regular maintenance of AC unit. I would definitely recommend Moses Herrera to any kind of issues with Heating and Air conditioning systems. My 5 stars to Moses Herrera !

We have been a long time customer of Ace and are sad to say we will no longer be using them for our company A/C needs. We had an ongoing issue that we called them out to repair multiple times. We paid thousands of dollars repairing the same issue to find out it was a band aid to the actual problem. I was wondering why does this same issue happening over and over again costing 500+ every time to repair. I got in the attic and figured it out MYSELF! I called them and they agreed I was right and said they could fix the problem and give us a credit since we spent soooo much money on all these services that never fixed the actual issue. I was upset but at least they are trying to help!! Well the manager I was working with left the company and now they arent giving me any credits for all the money I waisted trusting they knew what they were doing. Years of service and to be treated that way makes me very upset. I wasnt going to leave a bad review since they were making it right for me but now that they arent following through with what they were going to do I felt like other businesses need to be aware of our situation so it doesnt happen to you.

This is the worst place of business I’ve ever dealt with. After 2 1/2 weeks with no a/c in over 100 degree temps, I had to call someone else. This company installed my unit and I have a 10 year warranty with their product. I even requested return calls from managers twice, still no resolve. No one ever called. Explained to them that my dog is in congestive heart failure and is having a very difficult time breathing. I wound up paying another company to fix what they ignored. This company should’ve called me back with an update. I will pursue this for future customers. The least they can do is repay me for my expenses. Terrible service!

Amazing service! We had an issue with our new HVAC system, called Texas Ace and they had somebody out the next morning. Jonathan was very professional and had us back to normal. The customer service from this company is outstanding! They double checked all appointments and we even got a follow up call from the owner.

Texas Aces provided excellent service! My husband and I could not be happier with the end result. We had to replace our systems the concentrator unit due to a leak in the unit. The technicians were courteous and professional and did their jobs well. The true test of a company is not when everything goes well but when issues/challenges with the job come up, and our install had several due to manufactures changes, Texas Aces stepped up and went the extra mile to overcome the issues and resolve the install problems. The company took ownership of challenges, without us asking, and we could not be more satisfy with a services experience than we are with Texas Aces. I would feel confident recommending this AC company to family and friends.

We recently had our A/C quit working Friday. I spoke to the lady at the front who was very friendly and helpful. She sent me to Phil to schedule a time to have someone come out and look at my a/c after first troubleshooting a few things. He called me back on Saturday to see how things were going and we scheduled an appointment that was at my earliest convenience.The staff was friendly and the service tech was very respectful and informative. I’ve used this company for years and have not had an issue, until I tried having my HVAC replaced. On October 19th I emailed Shawn Bell to schedule an appointment and on October 25th I received an email from Phillip Seward confirming that on November 10th the work would be done. Since it was a big project I asked for financing options and Phillip sent me those options on the 26th and I applied. A week had passed and I had not heard if I had been approved or denied so I emailed Phillip and Shawn Bell on November 4th to check my status. No answer, so I emailed again on the 8th with no answer so I called Phillip directly on the 8th and spoke with him on the 9th and found out that he had NOT PROCESSED MY APPLICATION YET. I voiced my concerns about the application process; which is why I asked the week before about the status, and he dismissed my concerns as if it didn’t matter. Had my wife apply, mind you this is THE NIGHT BEFORE the supposed installation. Received a text and email this morning (11/10) at 6:04 am that we were denied. I took off work for this project AND THE MORNING OF I find out that it can not be done. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and DISRESPECTFUL to treat someone as if there time and concerns don’t matter. I tried to avoid THIS VERY SCENARIO! I’m a member of their program, but am contemplating even being a customer.

Eric Dominguez did a great job at my house. He very quickly and easily easily explained the problem Timmy on my air conditioning unit. The hinge on the air filter door had broken off and he very efficiently screwed it back into the unit in secured both hinges. He had a great very professional demeanor and I would welcome an opportunity to work with him and this company again.

Eric was wonderful!! He repaired my heater same day I called Texas Ace. The heater needed cleaning and a rat had chewed thru the control wires. It only took him 2 hours to diagnose and repair, and now I have heat!! Thank you again!!

Friendly and attentive reception when called for emergency ac work. Managed to get everything working by 10:00am after calling at 8. John S. was very professional and explained all the repairs to my wife and fixed errors made by the original installer of the equipment. Texas Ace will be my hvac “go to” going forward.

We had Hugo as our technician. He was very communicative, thorough and worked quickly, but efficiently. Told us qe were almost out of warranty on one unit and there was some warranty repairs we could get done before it ran out. We appreciated the information and the speed of scheduling the repairs to make sure we didnt miss the cutoff!

Texas Air was great. Spent time finding and fixing the problem. Technician was great. Be careful calling after hours for you could be rerouted to a 3rd party service through the service they contracted for emergencies. I was and this caused a problem because the 3rd party wasn’t responsive and cancelled.

Had our regular maintenance performed. Love Texas Ace! I got a reminder call to confirm and got a text when Eric was in his way. Eric performed the regular maintenance of our unit as expected. We have been using Texas Ace since our prior vendor went out of business a few years ago. Everyone we have dealt with over the years has been honest and professional. Thank you Eric!

After parents recommended Texas Ace I felt comfortable having them come out to fix our A/C issue as well. Very prompt after hours service call. As foreign a concept as a HVAC system is for me, I felt very comfortable with the whole process. Chris came to the house and explained what was happening to my system. This has been a two year process that has just been unbearable. Our unit was installed December 2019. Since then we have had 5-6 service calls out to our house, for the same issue (all but one time) our heat has not functioned properly.We were told it was a switch issue, that was fixed (but wasn’t). Our heat was running on aux mode nearly 24/7 causing our electric bill to skyrocket. Was then told it was an issue with the ecobee, so we replaced that… now here we go again with the heat not working- blowing cold air. Today they finally find the problem and now since we’re out of warranty for labor only (parts should still be covered) the cost to “fix” our HVAC that NEVER worked properly is going to be over $1600. Oh and I’m being told by the technician that he’s giving me a deal on that…. Is this a friggin joke? You could not find the issue the 5 times before when we were under warranty, but now you find it? It’s like a miracle right?What a bunch of scammers.

We were dealing with an outright failure of our HVAC system after the winter storm hit us this year. We had no luck going through our home warranty (do NOT use AHS...) and were rather hopeless after awhile of dealing with them, so we decided to just go with someone we chose ourselves and get it over with outside of the warranty. Cue Texas Ace! Straightforward and honest right out of the gate. The first gentleman physically showed us what the problems were, he didnt merely list random parts with little to no explanation as the others did before him, simultaneously calling out how the others had lied to our faces about what was going on with the HVAC. Once it was determined wed need the work we did, it was no time at all and our house is now FREEZING with glorious AC! What was so great was that not only did they perform the necessary core work to get us up and running, but they also went as far as to tidy things up around the units, reorganized some things here and there to do with the system, reattached a couple old connections that had come loose, reoriented our diffusers/return air to other areas improving air movement, patched some holes in backboards, the list just goes on and on. It really did turn out to be a lot more than what i thought would come with an installation and i truly felt like we were really getting what we were paying for. Beyond the quality of skilled labor, it is difficult to properly convey how professional and expedient Chase Walsh and his Assistant were from start to finish. They put in some real work. These guys busted their rear ends like i was a personal friend of theirs. I would highly recommend this company to ANYBODY* for ANY* hvac issues or installs. Residential or Commercial. Really, they are the first to be honest to me and my wife, and the excellent work is clearly their trademark. The core values at Texas Ace certainly shine through in their Techs and office personnel. Andrew was professional and explained each function he was performing and why. No one ever wants to dump thousands into repairs on a 5 year old HVAC system (Lennox and both units have had the same issue), but when you need work done, call Texas Ace.

Received a quote last year for whole home purification system. The prices have inflated since last year, but the company helped me out as much as possible. The installer showed up on time, installed the air purification system with no issues, cleaned up after himself, and I went ahead and asked for an annual system maintenance inspection which he completed also. All in all, great service!

This guy was reasonably priced but the price are now outrageous.. $600 for coming out and diagnosing the problem in my mini-split; he charged $110/hr for his labor and to advise i replace my machines and i still have the same problems. It literally costed me $400 to replace the whole unit by shopping around on my own. So for him to diagnose the issue will cost more than simply buying a new mini-split. Also if you buy the mini-splits from them you are looking at like $4000 instead of $400. This company upon hearing my disservice reached out to me and made it right, they had no idea that this was a thing they said their mini split comes with a 10 year warranty and comes from a reliable distributer so hence the cost for peace of mind of quality assurance, I appreciate the one on one customer service and I can see they really pay attention to their customers needs, Thank you Ace Heating and Air for ur Honesty.

I had my heat pump system quit heating during a severe winter ice storm. I was literally wearing sweatpants and coats just to stay comfortable. This problem started on Wednesday and I anticipated not being able to get help until Monday. I contacted the company on their web site Friday and was both promptly called offering suggestions and I was emailed. I tried the suggestion but my heat didn’t improve. I responded to the email and was told they could get someone out late Saturday. However, they called not too long after and and said the roads had improved enough to get someone out today. Eric Dominguez arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem, quickly, repaired it, and then checked my entire system. He was a very polite, professional, and responsive service tech who I would highly recommend. I have used this company a number of times and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend them!

We just had Texas Ace replace 2 HVAC units and all duct work. Rick Brown did an outstanding job explaining what we needed and what was to be done. Both units installed in 1 day. Several days later a technician came out to inspect the work and explain the new WIFI thermostats to us. Next day Rick Brown came by to make sure we were happy with everything. I returned from my vacation in the winter to find out my furnace stopped working. Max was quick to get his technician Larry out the same day to diagnose the problem. He found out the motor went out and ordered the part. Larry came back and fixed it the next day! He was very friendly and respectful. Highly recommend them for their reliability and expertise.

Thank you to Texas Ace for taking care of my family this week! A tech was out the day we called in with a problem and he found the problem within an hour of arrival. The part needed for the repair was confirmed to be on order the following business day and the next phone call was to schedule repair the morning after the product arrived. It all happened the way it was presented and on time. The team came in ready to go with the new evaporator coils and was done in a little over an hour. Barely gone an hour and my house is already cooler! Hopefully I never need to call them again but I wont be using Google as their contact information is now saved on my phone.

For a FULL week today our ac has been out. TX Ace was NOT our choice - they were chose by our builder (Meritage Homes) and installed our system in our new home. Just at the one year mark we come home to find our AC not working one Thursday evening...We called them and they came out the following day....the evaporator coil is busted and something else....the issue is not with the part or the repair. The issue is we were told Monday that the part was ordered and was in transit and slowly but surely through the week....we have stopped getting return phone calls to our inquiries...the part magically still is not in the shop. Im sorry but in this day - #1...YOU CALL YOUR CUSTOMERS BACK! and #2...it doesnt take a week to get anything from anywhere w/in the us. Its summer in Texas and Ive been w/o AC for a week. Im speculating but I would think that over the week that have installed other new units similar to ours for this builder...one would think a customer in a home would get more effective service but I suppose since we arent paying out we are unimportant. Its ridiculous that its come to this.

Our experience with Texas Ace Heating & Air was exceptional. When the GM Phil first told us the entire HVAC system would be replaced in one day, we were a little skeptical. If we had known about Felipe and his crew of 2 men we would have never doubted their ability to complete the job. The crew hit the ground running from the moment they arrived. They were professional, worked non-stop in spite of the heat and completed the job in less than 10 hours. Our house barely had a chance to heat up after the old system was removed and the new system was operational. One final comment: Our old system wasnt bad but we had some issues we wanted addressed with the new system. Shawn, the Estimator, addressed these issues in specifying the new system and even though it has only been a few days the improvement is noticeable.

This company just tried to scam me!! They are taking advantage of the fact that people are desperate for air conditioning in this Texas summer heat. They just tried to charge me $300 for a part they had on their truck... when the other option they gave me was to order the part under warranty, free of charge, and wait a couple of weeks with no a/c. If I hadnt stood firm that it was under warranty (unit was only a few months old), and therefore I shouldnt have to pay a dime, they might have been successful at their scam. But, I knew better!!! When I demanded to speak to the technicians manager, he went out to his truck and got the part and installed it, no charge, and left. He couldnt even come up with an excuse for changing his tune! THIS COMPANY HAS NO INTEGRITY.

Texas Ace Heating & Air 5 Star Company from sales to installation. Three employees started, one of the most difficult jobs, at 9:30 and completed by 3:30. They were professional and left my home clean. They additionally included 4 smart thermostats, purification system, ten year parts and labor contract that was not included by three other companies costing me less money. Other companies offered Bryant, Ruud, and Comfortmaker not rated like Lennox.

Eric did a good job of checking everything. He also explained the club membership, which I signed up for to get ongoing maintenance. He also showed me the extra piece in the AC unit to lower the voltage and save on the electrical bill. Helpful and should save us money over the long term.

My home is 14 yrs old and began having issues with the two a/c systems. Weve also had issues with different rooms upstairs being too hot or cold. The representative came out and did an assessment of the issues and presented solutions to balance our system. They scheduled a date and notified up it might take two days. The install team arrived at 8pm, prepped the entry and areas that would be accessed by the team to protect the flooring. Both systems in and working by 4pm the same day. Their team cleaned up and 30 minutes later you wouldnt have known this major project took place. I oversee medical design and construction, which requires a very high standard, and the professionalism and quality of Texas Ace work is A++. I normally dont recommend contractors but Texas Ace focus on resolving my issues rather than loading me with high dollar solutions is rare in todays business. My wife and I are beyond pleased as they exceeded our expectations.

Texas Ace services the HVAC units for my whole condo complex. They are always quick to come out when I have issues and are always on time, if not early. Heath has been helpful multiple times for us and is very thorough to ensure the job is completely fixed every time! If you can request a specific technician I would recommend Heath!

Both techs were courteous, the first tech could not check anything because system was frozen up.First tech. called second tech and advised him he thought it had a leak but could not do anything.Second tech. arrived Sunday morning, did not check for leaks. He did not use leak detection or pull a vacuum he just said we had a leak in said he put 3 lbs of freon in at $85 a lb. $389.00 later and still no A/C.System frozen back up in a couple of hours.Both techs. stated we needed a new system, and someone would call to discuss this.I called Texas Ace office around 11:00 am Monday and was told someone would call me back.I called another company at 4:00 pm and scheduled an appointment for Tuesday morning.Someone from Texas Ace called around 8:30 Monday night, I did not answer.The other company checked for leaks, none found, they replaced the expansion valve. System is working great.I would not recommend Texas Ace Heating & Air.

Make sure you ask for Chase Pflueger, hes very respectful and knowledgeable. He was only called out for a simple trouble ticket, but went above and beyond by performing a complete system inspection. He also took the time to answer all my questions and gave me a few preventive maintenance pointers. Great company and great staff. Thanks again.

My property management company recommends this company and I could not be more happy. I have had visits from Shawn and Shakir. Both are incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. They take time to diagnose and understand the problem. I love how this companys first answer is NOT you need a new AC but if thats the case, I trust them fully and know their pricing and responsiveness is second to non. We had gotten new AC/Heating unit installed about 4 years ago (using a different company) and the air balance within the house had never been right. Some rooms would be cold and others blistering hot. Had Texas Ace out to take a look at things and they saw that the house was significantly lacking in air returns, and ducts, especially for the size units we had. They will be back on Tuesday to add in new returns and finally get our house to where it needs to be.The technicians and sales teams have been wonderful to work with. They are prompt, professional and very easy going. Highly recommend.

Im happy to see all the great reviews and everyone had better luck than I did with this company. Dont get me wrong they were very nice and professional but after spending money twice to get my ac/heater checked it still doesnt work. They just keep telling me there is nothing wrong with it. Im no ac tech but I have enough sense to know when the outside fan NEVER comes on and the heater is blowing COLD air that something is wrong. I was told I could pour water down a tube. Also told I could re set the breaker (which still no clue why since it wasnt tripped) but I still did everything that was suggested. Still blows cold air. Oh well maybe one day Ill find someone who can fix it. I gave up trying. If a company tells you twice there is nothing wrong what do you do? Guess its a good thing I sleep better when its cold.

I have had Texas Ace perform bi-annual maintenance checks on the HVAC for almost 3 years. Each time the technician is polite, extremely competent and is mindful about not leaving anything to be cleaned up once he has finished and leaves. Texas Ace standards are way above what you usually see today in customer service!

Texas Ace helped with a leak in my AC system. There was a clogged drain that caused water to spill out of the system and flood my bathroom ceiling, wall, cabinet and floor. The technician was friendly and competent and I’ve had no further issues since. The price was also competitive so I’d definitely recommend this company!

Ashley called me late Friday night when my a/c wasn’t working (82 in the house). She spent time with me, asked a lot of questions, tried to help walk me through what could possibly be wrong and set their earliest appt for me just in case it didn’t work. Followed up with me the next morning and they were on time to fix my a/c. Very helpful, professional, and the only emergency a/c company that actually called me back late on a Friday night. My Experience and as fair of a review as I can give for what happened to me. Many people would go 1 star.PROS:-On time- prompt, answered phone on time, kinda pushy on credit card security butI get it.- Easy tablet signing for paperwork at the endCONS:Hmm. Interesting play on words there. I called and my tech came on time in the window provided from call. He promptly diagnosed an issue with the compressor voltage on start-up. He was fast and pleasant to work with to this point. Then things went odd...He informed me of the issue and recommended a hard start kit (at this point never heard of it).I asked how much , he said 349 plus the 99 for the service call. I said it sounded high, can he test it. He said sure, he would get it.I am a curious guy I Googled it one came up with a photo and a price of 46.50. What????Just then, he walks in with the same package!Geez. So 5 minutes later, he asks me to go outside and see that the pipe is cooling now. All good.I say that is great but the price of that part doesnt sit right. The market is like 46 dollars. I dont mind even paying double, but 10x the amount is too much.He then says if I join a cool air club I can get 15% off. Who joins clubs for air conditioning? Worst marketing ever...I say no. Pleae charge me the service call and remove it. He says ok politely and is professional tha whole way. A solid technician.He does that and says I have to have you sign some things I will be back.He comes back and shows me a parts list and says that parts price went up it used to be 245 he will charge me 245 and 69 for the service call.At this point, the price of this new work is a moving target. The tactics are very suspect, and I feel offended a bit, I am a hard working, giving, helping Texan.I tell the gentlemen it is time we part ways. Thank you kindly for his service.So, as I sat in my 83 degree house at 930pm, I grabbed a screw driver, went out to the starting capacitor and took a look at the wires. This is the exact same place he had been with the HARD STaRTER Kit.The unit was lightly used, It It had just been installed 2 months before after a rebuild.Sure enough, after securing some wires that looked loose, it fired up and has ran ever since.You can take the bullet points you need from that about my experience.

Posting for a friend on Google. A friend of mine just bought a brand new house and on the day of their move in, the A/C went out. They sent someone out to do a repair and all they did was add freon. If you know anything about A/C systems, you know that if its low on freon, there is a leak, especially in a brand new system. Seems someone forgot to do a pressure test. Once the inevitable happened again they came out and did the same thing, filled it back up. With the cost of freon, seems like a waste of money and labor. You should probably train your people better, just saying. Now the builder is involved and trying to get them into a hotel room. They have 2 big dogs so thats not really an option. Plus they JUST moved in, who wants to move out of their BRAND NEW HOME. People buy new so they dont have to deal with problems like this. You guys need to do some internal cleanup and get it together. Based on other reviews this is not the first time this has happened. Maybe a little sweat in training would do your people some good.

This has got to be the best heating and air conditioning company in the Metroplex. Shawn Bell, who comes out to inspect and evaluate your system, is extremely knowledgeable and honest. The workmen who installed our system were the best we’ve ever seen! This is a fantastic company!

The technician that came out, Nate, was very polite. He got right to work diagnosing the problems with my unit. He took pictures and explained repairs and costs upfront. He was able to repair the unit the same day. Very pleased!

Shawn did a great job thinking outside of the box and designed a new system to replace a defective unit and a functioning unit from 1989. The installation crew was very courteous and professional. Definitely recommend for anyone needing a replacement system.

We are in a home built within the last year. While our builder went out of business and left us hanging on warranty work, Texas Ace is not only standing behind their work, they are going above and beyond (thanks, Charles, for replacing that P trap for us!) Chase and Phil have really taken great care of us with large amounts of time and patience troubleshooting a couple of issues we have had, great information as well as efficient suggestions specific to our home, and quick response (even though we live over an hour away from their HQ). They seem to strive to build a relationship with each customer rather than just do the work. It is so important to have people in service industries that we can trust - I feel this is the case with Texas Ace. Thanks for hiring quality people who really want what is best for the customer. Hugo Avalos was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He found the problem within minutes and had our AC working again in no time at a price far better than other companies quoted price.

We had Robert W. come out today and look at our a/c that wasn’t cooling. Come to find out the wiring was mixed up when it was installed. We are so thankful he spent the time and figured it out. We had someone else out in the Fall and they said it was fine after checking everything out. Highly recommend Robert!

A HUGE shoutout to Texas Ace Heating and Air! Our air quit on Sunday, house is 5 months old, yesterday they came right out to take a look. Our coil had a hole in it. Jesus was great but told us it could take a week due to getting parts and their schedules in July.We have a grandson who has a overgrowth syndrome, trouble regulating body temp, pulmonary issues, etc. and its HOT. We let them know we had this dilemma and they figured it out, sent two volunteers out here from Midlothian after work and they are fixing it. It was MISERABLE last night. Its been miserable today. Kudos to our ancestors that dealt with this without electricity!Anyway, they did right by us, just wanted to give them the praise they deserve.MANY THANKS TO THE FOLLOWING PEOPLE AT TEXAS ACE: Phillip Seward, Michael Mills (especially for making this happen!) and finally to Chase Walsh and Joseph who volunteered to work over time and come from Midlothian and stay at our house until after 9:00pm to get air into our lives. Called Texas Ace to work a multi mini-split system. Great customer service. Technician was Martin Ferman…did a great job! Double thumbs up for Texas Ace Heat & Air!!!

Had entire HVAC and ducts replaced with a Lennox system 9/11/18 at over $6000. Factory weld/solder leaked (1 leak) at compressor. Quoted me over $800 for repairs on 4/9/21. I complained. Tech called supervisor and offered a discount on refrigerant. Charged $692 to repair leak, recharge system, and service call in the less than 3 year old system. Wont use them again or Lennox. Warranty is worthless. They sold an expensive low quality system that breaks prematurely and then charged me over 10% of the entire HVAC system to solder a pin hole. System wouldnt need refrigerant and wouldnt need a service call if product wasnt low quality and falling apart.Update! 8/20/2021 Lennox HVAC blowing warm air. Called a different company. Leaking copper coil in the attic. Of course TX Ace is selling the Copper coil Lennox systems that will leak after a few years even when there was a class action lawsuit against those copper coils that was settled in 2015! Still selling the faulty equipment! Raking in the money on service calls, labor costs, and freon charges on equipment they know will break after a few years. Went to the BBB and saw other complaints about these Lennox systems they are still selling. Unbelievable!

I needed a technician to check humidity levels in my house. We had condensation on windows and he was able to determine that it was not a humidity/a/c problem, but a window installation problem instead. Very professional and easy to talk with.
