Very quick response to service needed.Ricki explained everything that was wrong with our heating system and gave recommendations on other things we can do to help keep our current system running longer. He wasnt pushy or trying to sell anything, just providing the customer with education.Give Ricki a raise! He was awesome!

Rick and Nate did an amazing job. We had some pipes disconnected where there was carbon monoxide leaking into the attic. They fixed the problem and reassured us that everything was fine before they left.

STAY AWAY!!!!Im having to change my review down to 1starI had a technician assigned through OneGaurd warranty andthe technician misdiagnosed the problem, claiming it was a major issue that required expensive repairs. After getting a second opinion from a different company, I learned that the actual problem was minor and easily fixable. This not only wasted my time but also caused unnecessary stress and potential costs.

Experience couldn’t have been better. Rick was able to diagnose our problem, recommend a solution and then was quick to get scheduled and complete the work. Really happy with everything and will be recommending Speedy for any future needs/repairs.

Called due to power surges in house. Robert let me know he was in his way, arrived when he said he. Would. Was professional but friendly. Discovered the problem was an Encor issue, explained and photo graphed what the issue was so that I could provide that info to Encor. He made sure I re eived the pics he took and went over one more time how to explain it to Encor. I thoroughly appreciated his explanation and the photos as they came in handy when I had ro deal with Encor.

Service, Timeliness, Price, Technician] The technician got it working and during follow up testing found a wire with a short in it. He could have left without further testing since it was running but did some testing and found a shorted wire after it was running. This wire may or may not have caused original problem. Just glad he checked whole system before leaving. Warrantied all but service call. No charge for warranty parts with no hassle.

I am very pleased with their performance. They showed up on time and did a quick job of diagnosing and repairing the problem and the bill was very reasonable in my opinion. I plan to use them again if it ever comes up.

Scheduled a technician to come out same day for AC between 1-4pm. Technician shows up after 5pm, who was actually knowledgeable and diagnosed the problem. However, couldn’t fix the problem without getting the part which couldn’t be done until they called the warehouse the next day to check to see if in stock. I was told I’ll get a call early the next day (today) for an update so they can get us on the schedule for repair. No one ever called or followed up. I’m glad I’m not 99 years old that needed the AC turned back on. Not so speedy on any follow ups for repairs after diagnosis. Speedy to collect the $79 diagnosis charge in 10 min

99 degree August day in DFW, and my AC unit starts buzzing and stops cooling. Yikes! I called Speedy Electric & A/C because they serviced my home before, and I trust them. Tony P explained everything, went to get a part, and Im cool again. I did not call another company for fear of being told I need a new unit (unnecessarily). My Trane unit still has life, but when it does come time to replace it, I will turn to Speedy. Highly recommended!

I had a 400A meter base with 2 separate disconnects to 2 200A internal panels. The group of gentlemen that came out were very respectful and knowledgeable. I was referred to Speedy Electric & Air by my Home warranty company. The referral process was easy and Speedy Electric & AC came out within 2 days. My issue was that when I turned my AC on that my breaker would trip. The AC technician stated that he couldnt find a problem. I told him that something had to.be wrong for the breaker to trip. I then suggested that he change out my breaker then. The company had to send an electrician over to complete the job. An electrician came out and changed out the breaker and the ac turned on. There wasnt a need to turn on the ac anymore.because the winter months was approaching. I attempted to turn on my ac a couple of weeks ago and the same thing happened, the breaker tripped again. I contacted Speedy Electric & AC to discuss problem and I was informed that they couldnt warrant the work because it had to go through the warranty company. I told Speedy that they never did any work so therefore they owed me the $100 I spent on the service call. Speedy refused to warranty what they failed to repair. I canceled my service with the warranty company and paid another independant AC company $297.00 for installing a fan motor in my outside ac unit. This was the problem that Speedy AC and Electric couldnt find and it cost me $400 as a customer. Not the service that a homeowner wants to be stuck with!

You guys always do a great job. We have used your service numerous times for different issues and we have been very satisfied. Speedy Electric is prompt and efficient. If we should have any other issues we know who to call!

I was buying a house and i requested to get Ac serviced and checked as it was flagged in inspection. The guy who came said the freon was low so he filled the freon. After a week we find out the coil is leaking . When the technician fixes the coil which took one more week because of home warrenty claim they find out the compressor is bad. They charged us for freon even though they messed up filling freon without checking compressor. They want us to pay for the entire condensator but would just report conpressor being bad to home warrenty .Problems:1. They dont diagnose all problems at once which took 3 techs and repair team to find all problems2. They try to upsale u in buying things that you dont immediately need.3. They dont report the same problem to you and home warranty4. They charge you even when they mess up.

They redid all the electrical in our house after the house was hit by the 2019 tornado, and did a great job. When we moved back in 2021 they have serviced our air conditioning unit and electrical needs. They are always on time, courteous, knowledgeable, and do not try to upsell on products not needed. The office staff is on task, and very easy to work with. All in all have had a very good experience with them.

Speedy Electric has serviced our a/c multiple times and they have done a great job each time. They were contracted through our home warranty company (Landmark Home Warranty). The scheduling service reached out immediately and the technicians came out the next business day. The technicians are very friendly and knowledgeable and have identified and remedied any problems quickly. We will continue to request Speedy both through our home warranty and directly if it’s something not covered under our home warranty contract.

Overall the service was great. They only thing I didnt like was the lack of communication. I had to contact the company to find out when the part was arriving. It took 3 weeks to get my AC working.

If I could give them no stars I would. They made an initial diagnosis . They told us that AHS wouldnt pay for it and tried to get us to pay for the repair out of pocket. But... when AHS agreed to pay for the service, they went back to AHS and changed the diagnosis to something else they knew wasnt covered, claiming it was a design flaw when their original pictures and diagnosis showed/ proved otherwise. Will never use their services again!

Fantastic Experience! Need to get two outlets installed in my garage. Called and got an appointment for the next day. Time slot was from 8am - 12pm and Jerry showed up at 7:45! Early! While visiting my Daughter she received a quote for a new A/C unit from Ricki with Speedy Electric and A/C. I was so impressed with his friendliness and professionalism that I called and requested him to perform a tune up on my home A/C. The price was lower than I had expected and Ricki went above and beyond great service, earning Speedy a new satisfied customer!

The coil in the 3 year old Trane unit started leaking and they had to change it. The unit was still under warranty so I did not pay for a new one (assuming it is new), But I did pay $2400+ for the labor. It seems a high price to pay but they said there is a 2 year warranty on the labor; so I cross my fingers.As for judging their work it is hard to do at this time since we have not used the AC. It is January. We will know in May or better in August when we are in the middle of the Dallas summer

Logan from speedy came in and saved the day. I oversee maintenance for 500+ homes in Dallas and I had one A/C go down while I was on vacation, and Logan made sure all was taken care of within 24 hours of approval. He was also real easy to work with and quick to respond. Thank you Logan!!!

They were able to get out to us the day we called and came before noon! The tech found the problem fast it was the blower motor. While he had it out i asked if i could powerwash the casing and he said yep! We actually both sprayed it clean because it was hella dirty. It’s been over a week and it’s staying a cool 72 in here. Im so thankful!

We needed two ceiling fans replaced and since we used Speedy Electric before we called for the installation. I used this company through my home warranty. The tech that arrived stated the repair needed was not covered by the home warranty. The temporary fix was to leave the “flapper” open which means the AC runs 24/7 (electric bill 😡). He told us the part would be in a week. 8 days later I call and the person answering the phones stated they needed to schedule an appointment to take measurements to ensure they order the correct part. 8/15/2023 The tech comes out again and takes measurement know keep in mind my AC has been running not stop😡. Today 08/22/2023 I come into my home at 5pm. No air at all. My poor dog. I call the after hours number gues what? No after hours service. No one on call or available to come and see why my entire unit has now shut down. It is at least 100 degrees in my house and they do not offer after hour services. I need the ‘Flapper’ but after this I will NEVER do business with them again. My business with them has contributed to a really high electric bill and still being stuck in this Texas heat with no AC.

Had an A/C unit stop working on Friday afternoon before Labor Day and my repair man was out of town for family emergency! We had this company come out for a system check for our homeowners warranty. The guy brought in mud on his shoes, fidgeted and talked so fast about all of the services he was trying to up-sale me and then was out the door in less than 4 minutes. I seriously thought he was going out to his truck to get me the list of all of the things I just had to have!...installed on our system that he had also shared was in great shape and looked brand new. A few days later we got a quote emailed to us for over $1300 of add-ons. Not impressed with this guy at all. He made me very nervous. Their previous technicians have been okay and a lot more helpful. NONE of them tried to up-sale us anything on our system either, which is working perfectly okay without any issues!

June 2024: Speedy is still available via Landmark Home Warranty and this time I need AC service. Ricki came out and diagnosed things quickly and was able to resolve the problem, plus gave my advice on how to avoid future problems. He had to come out one more time for a similar symptom, but a different cause and was gracious once again and helpful, as always. I now always ask for the Speedy if I need electrical or AC assistance!2022: Electrical Panel/breaker replacement: I have Landmark Home Warranty and they selected Speedy when I needed service following a power outage in the neighborhood that apparently knocked out a breaker. I checked their online reviews and was pleased to see a company with good reviews. That isnt always the case with home warranty contractors.The tech that came out was highly experienced, very thorough and explained everything related to the repair. I would be happy to use Speedy again even if it wasnt a warranty repair!

Tech came out 8/17 because a/c wasnt cooling like normal. He checked the outside and inside units. ONLY issue was outside line needed to be wrapped but stated that wasnt causing issue. Said it was probably heatwave. I had them come back on 8/18 and install new thermostat. Days pass still not cooling - called another company within 3 minutes tech diagnosed issue - drain line from inside unit clogged - repaired the line and we were back in business. If it only took the other tech 3 minutes to find issue and another 10 to repair I dont think Speedy did a good job.

Honest and Professional! I found out about Speedy Electric from my previous home warranty. After the warranty was up I continued to call them for electric and AC services. The experienced technicians are always, on-time, professional, and they are honest and dont try to sell you a product or service that you dont need like other AC companies do. For me having a company you can trust brings peace of mind that I can count on them anytime I need AC or electrical work done on my properties.

I called and set a time for an A/C tech to come out and check our unit for a specific room, and they were prompt and honest setting the time up! The technician Logan came at the earliest time slot on the day we picked and was extremely friendly, professional and quick! In and out job done in maybe an hour! Would highly recommend them!

Arrived within window both visits. First time told me I needed my unit power washed and cleaned but insurance didnt cover this. Paid them and he left saying it was fixed.The wash did nothing and I called again. Second visit had to ASK to check freon levels and other issues. Again told I might need a leak check, not covered by insurance, was told freon was low, but didnt add any or do anything to help because I wouldnt pay more out of pocket.After waiting 2 weeks and paying over $300, still not fixed.Awaiting a different company to come help.

Speedy electric was sent to my home by my extended home warranty company. I was experiencing intermittent on and off of my thermostat. Technician arrived and said it was due to a clog in my condensation line, and that the repair was not covered under the home warranty, and they would be an incremental charge. He completed the “repair” and left. This did not resolve the issue as I continue to experience. Intermittent outages.

I used Speedy to install an outdoor Ring security camera/flood light combo. Everything about the experience was handled professionally, from the initial estimate through the install and payment. Customer service was top notch! If you need electrical service, spend your money right here. Robert Rodriguez was my technician.

I have used Speedy twice this year through my home warranty to service my air and heat. They were great. Infact when I called my home warranty for my heater to to be serviced for the winter I ask for Speedy. I told them I would wait longer if I had to for Speedy. They were out the next day. Literally the worst experiences of my entire life with an A/C company. Not only did they not do the job right the first time in April (took four weeks also), but they also have a policy that all paperwork remains on the vehicle until the end of day, after dispatch leaves. Yes, even if you have a catastrophic failure. Yes, even if it is Friday and you need to get parts ordered. Yes, even if it is 90 degrees in your house. Yes, even if you call emergency dispatch 4 times, since they never return those calls. They are not Speedy and despite utilizing a dispatch software they refuse to even SMS text paperwork in for quicker resolution.In April, when our blower motor went out and the evap coil had a leak they took two weeks to replace the motor and still had to make a return trip out to put stop leak on the evap coil (instead of replacing the 20 year old unit). This cost us about $1100 in coolant and a drain pan. If the unit had been replaced then, the coolant would have been half the price and drain pan would have been covered by our homeowners warranty.In July, they came out on Friday at 7:45AM, by 8:30AM they told me that their fix from April did not hold and that I needed a new air handler. That paperwork did not make it to dispatch until 8AM on Monday, because of their paperwork policy. Once paperwork was filed and parts were ordered, they did not proactively schedule install even though they were booking installations out farther out than part delivery. I had to call (just like I had to in April) to schedule a time. Initial call 7/28, finally fixed 8/15. I have photos of my broken AC trying to kick on for Emergency Cooling when my house reached 95 degrees inside. My house wasnt safe, but that paperwork sure was safe with that driver.Even in April, the parts were supposed to be in within 24-48 hours, and I had to call back after 4 days to see why we had no call. They hadnt even ordered the parts. They told me they were waiting for my approval on some maintenance items. I had told them, I would approve or deny those when they scheduled installation of my replacement parts. By the time it was all said and done, it was a total of 4 weeks from initial visit 4/4 and complete fix 5/6.For a company that is called Speedy Electric and A/C. They really need to step up their name game or change it completely.

As always, Speedy was on time, performed quality work, and was friendly. I will always go back to Speedy.

Came to my house for Ac repair through our warranty company. Wrote up report so warranty company would not approve the repairs needed. He told me they would not approve repairs and gave me a list of everything I neglected to take care of. Offered to make repairs for $7000-$8000. I called a different AC company. I told them all the issues he wrote me up for. The AC technician took pictures of my AC unit and showed me it wasn’t dirty or showed signs of neglect. He made the repairs for $2000.

Speedy came out and did all the electrical work on my new house. I realized I wanted some outlets higher to mount TVs and they were great about coming back out and installing those. Brian and his group are amazing. I would definitely recommend them and will be using them again in the future.

We were without A/C for days when they came out and found our unit was frying wires outside (not danger to an electrical fire). After a few wire replacements didn’t resolve it, they instead replaced the portion of the unit that received the electrical wiring. Worked like a charm and costed a hell of a lot less than a new unit! Another company told us a new unit was our only option so we were very pleased to say the least. Not only did they get the job done, but they did it quickly and were very nice in the process. Explained everything in a way I’d understand without feeling like I was being talked down to. We will definitely be using them again for future services. Thanks!

Speedy Electric was sent to my home by One Guard Warranty service to service a bad compressor. The compressor is about 20 years old and worn out so naturally it’s not in tiptop condition. The service man deliberately led me to believe that there would be no problem having it authorized to be replaced by a new compressor. They deliberately Reported it as in terrible maintained condition to One Guard Warranty which I believe is a very corrupt and deceitful company, which encourages this kind of reporting to save money. It sounds like collusion.

Our heater stopped working during one of the coldest days of the Monday and it happened to be on Christmas Eve! I was impressed at how quickly they were able to come out and on a holiday at that! I was unable to thank him in person, but he showed great resilience in repairing our AC units, since he had been working all day in the heat and it was already getting late.

Fixed/re-wired my stove top and oven after a short circuited situation occurred. Did wonderful job and SO quickly! Very impressed! I have used them on lots of problems, from compressor fixes to entire a/c replacement and they ALWAYS do a GREAT job!!!

The guys came on time, explained things nicely. Even when came to the maintenance he explained good. It came to adding the freon and the payment towards it. Start of concern - I asked the cost and was told that dont worry you would need to pay $xxx amount. I then asked how much does the warranty covers and he was checking with his backoffice team. These are the exact words he mentioned on the call infront of me - Make sure that we charge him $xxx per lbs. I did tell him that instead of checking the price he was stating the price.Not good. I wouldnt go back to them.

Robert came out and quoted a job of installing a 240v 60amp circuit for a hot tub. He took the time to discuss different options for running power from the breaker box at the front of the house to the patio in the back where the hot tub is located. We decided on how everything would be installed and scheduled the work for the following week. Robert showed up on time and got the job done within the day, as quoted. Everything looks professionally done. Being an overly picky person myself, I can appreciate the pride that Robert takes in his work.

These guys are great! We had an outdoor plug that was not functioning and scheduled a service call for the next day. Richard arrived on time was extremely knowledgeable and a true professional! Gary arrived on time and went right to work. He replaced an outdoor security light, he replaced all of the 28 year old smoke detectors in my house with new ones. He also removed an old ceiling fan and replaced it with a new one. He was very friendly and did an outstanding job. My A/C condenser went out and I was having trouble getting the new condenser delivered. I spoke to Speedy about this and they went above and beyond to help me out. They chased down the condenser for me and came out late on a Friday to install it same day so I would have A/C for the weekend. They did this because they knew I had company coming in town. It’s rare these days that a company listens to the customer and bends over backwards to help them. Speed Electric & A/C is one of those companies. Professional, Knowledgeable, Courteous, Prompt.. The tech arrived, introduced himself, and proceeded to work. We he finished, he advised that I had a very clean, and well maintained system in cômpared to many other systems hes seen.

Came out to diagnose a problem with the outside compressor fan blade having broken. Got here and though the tech was nice and friendly stated that the motor was the wrong specs and the previous HVAC Co put the wrong one on it and that was the reason the fan blade broke. This was under home warranty (OneGuard) and I awaited them to clear the repair with them.Turns out the warranty company denied the claim because the motor was wrong and the shaft was too long and that caused the fan blade failure, via expert diagnostics from SpeedyEAC, and apparently the previous HVAC Co (the ones that installed the motor) they neglected to note in the paperwork they replaced the motor becasue they had to replace the compressor at the same time and missed it, supposedly.Well I looked around myself and found that this specific motor is a common replacement for the unit and fits the RPM specs and the HP rating. The shaft is longer than the original, BUT the fan was installed near the base (1inch) and not at the tip of the shaft. How does that extra shaft play any part in that fan performance if its installed at the base?Ultimately the home warranty company wanted to find a way to get out of covering it because thats just what insurance companies do but having a lame and ridiculous diagnostic from SpeedyEAC didnt help me, it did help the warranty co, though.

Ive had repairs completed on my A/C units with this company through a home warranty. The service was completed without any problems and so far my units are up and running. My only complaint is that through the home warranty it took too long for them to get to my repairs. The first time I had to wait for a week in 100-degree weather with both units out. Then it took another two weeks for them to come back for the other unit.

[Technician] Francisco did an amazing job. He completed the work in a timely manner. He was pleasant and professional. So, while my experience with Francisco was 5-star all the way, my experience with Speedy Electric and AC was less than zero stars which is not even on the scale! The problem Francisco came out to fix started 3 weeks ago when my AC went out. I called the Home Warranty folks. They dispatched Speedy within an hour of my call. HOWEVER, it took almost a week (5days) before they could send someone out to assess the problem. Parts had to be ordered. Home warranty approved the repair in less than 24 hours and parts were ordered. The parts arrived the following day. However, with temperatures in excess of 102 degrees and heat indexes higher than that, Speedy made me wait for 10 days before they could get Francisco or any technician out to my house. I spoke with 2 different Managers who told me there was nothing they could do. The Home warranty company called twice to try to get a faster time on the schedule given the extreme temperatures. We were all told there were 11 other Home Warranty customers (from various companies) on the schedule ahead of me. The scheduling manager denied that they are short-staffed. They apparently don’t work overtime or weekends. They offered no solution to help; no portable unit(s), no fans, NOTHING!!! They left me in the sweltering heat to suffer for almost 3 weeks total. So they should actually change their name from Speedy to “we couldn’t care less as long as we get paid electric and AC. “ The sad part is that it’s not even peak season yet. I really feel sorry for any customers who call them in July or August. I will conclude by saying that Speedy did the pre-season tune up on my AC. That experience was very pleasant. They found a problem and fixed while on-site because they had the part. Each time the technicians could not have been more professional and both pairs of technicians were 5-Star. However, the company internal processes are broken and apparently, they really couldnt care less than the attitude expressed by both Managers I spoke with on the phone. They never asked if there were any medical conditions that might be exacerbated by having to live in the extreme heat during the waiting period because they DID. NOT. CARE.

The technician who came out did not run a complete diagnostic on our AC system nor was he transparent or honest. He missed that the compressor is dead. He did say that the unit needed R22 (which we have and know how to supply to the unit). However, upon declining the $145 worth of R22 he attempted to sell us, the technician ended his inspection and did not even offer to repair damaged coils he documented in the official diagnosis. Lastly, when we attempted to add R22, as suggested, the R22 level was full.

Have had these guys out a couple times & theyve been fantastic. I called about 10:00am & they had Richard at the house same day. He quickly diagnosed the issue, got us up to code, & fixed the damaged part. He knew his stuff, & did a good job of explaining the issue, which I appreciated. Will continue to use Speedy when needed.

We have used them several times since moving to Mansfield. Always fair pricing, knowledgeable employees, timely and excellent communication on arrival times. Work is reliable, done right the first time and they have always been respectful of our Home making sure they are neat and tidy and things are left clean upon departure. Hard to find good honest dependable electricians... which is why we continue to use their services.

Speedy was able to move around their schedule to get us in the same day for electrical work when our air conditioning went out in the middle of Dallas summer. Completely covered by home warranty for two visits in the day to figure out the issue, and replacement of the issue parts. Technicians were friendly and knowledgeable. Great work!

Tried to use my home warrantee, so didnt choose them. The tech came out 2 days after the request and quickly and accurately diagnose my issue. Unfortunately his estimate for getting the part and installing it was vague at first and then 7-10 days when pressed. I had that same part installed the next day by a competitor.Hopefully they dont treat their non home warrantee customers the same.

I would recommend you avoid this company entirely. They used to be very good. We used them almost exclusively for 5 years. Now theyre just dishonest and not sure if they are even competent. Cant return calls regarding their quotes.All of their diagnoses and recommendations were wrong, based on a peer review from 3 other companies. They claimed a faulty fan was not due to wear and tear. Other companies said it was standard for a failed motor to result in fan imbalance and damage. Very disappointed in their ability to diagnose an issue, poor communication and dangerously inefficient solutions. If we followed their solution for a partial system replacement, we likely would have had a brand new damaged system and a damaged ceiling. Avoid at all costs

I found this company through my home warranty provider. They did such a great job, were extremely professional, and on-time, I starting to call them directly for my heating and cooling tune-ups. Highly recommend!

These people left me and my family in 90 degree heat for 3 weeks! The technician got mad when he couldnt figure out what to do, so he left. One week later the next technician came out and told me my unit was to small for my house. One week later the technician came out and changed the capacitor and now my unit is running great! 3 weeks in this Texas heat, so sad!!!

They were able to come out the day of. Josh was on time and knew what he was doing. He was able to figure out the issue within minutes and knew how to resolve it. Two months ago I Speedy Electric replaced my Fuse Box, checked and replaced (as needed) all of the switches and outlets in my house. The technicians were very professional, efficient and cheerful as they went about completing the work. The quote they gave us was very competitive and reasonable, though not the lowest. We are very happy with their work and professionalism and would highly recommend them to anyone.

They dont stand by their work.We had Speedy Electric out for help with an AC problem under our home warranty. We were told the problem was a blocked condenser coil which wasnt covered under the home warranty, so we had to pay them $209 for work (including freon which was partially covered). This work didnt fix our problem. Our upstairs is still not cooling below 77 degrees no matter what the setting.Called them back and was told they wont come back out without charging another service fee. Should not have to pay another service fee for work they didnt do right the first time!

Speedy Electric was on time for their appointment. Electrician checked our outlets, and corrected the problem. Wasn’t here long because we had 3 or 4 outlets that needed replacing.

I always call Speedy for my electrical and A/C needs. The Employees are friendly, on time, knowledgeable, and work quickly to fix any issues. They are also reasonably priced. I have called Speedy for help over the years, and have never been disappointed. I recently called for some issues I was having with my A/C and electrical outlets. I have a warranty , they provided me with Speedy. My AC stopped working Monday. Speedy was scheduled between 12-5 Tuesday... They showed up at 1:10, Spent about 15 minutes and said it was fixed. I waited for 3 1/2 hours for the AC too cool with no results... I called the warranty company back... I got a call this morning from Speedy saying it would not be until tomorrow that someone would be back out... That is 4 days with no AC , when they have been paid and claimed service was fixed... Why does it not take priority over new service calls? Why does your staff not care it was not fixed ?

Very fast and responsive but misdiagnosed my issue claimed it was electrical paid for their electrician (same company/speedy)who said my problem was with the ac (original issue). They did send back an ac person free of a service fee who admitted the original person screwed up and didn’t do the appropriate tests and that I never needed an electrician. Still out the costs of their electrician charges based in their incompetence. I understand a mistake but why do I have to pay for their mistake.Update: Service Warranty did reimburse me the fee and agreed that based on their misdiagnosis and incomplete check, their AC guy forgot to turn the breaker back on, then there would have not been a need to have an electrician come out (who ended up confirming that there was not an electrical issue but an AC issue).

This is the 2nd time we have had to use this company. Outside unit and unit in the house and we have not been disappointed that’s why we came back. They got us an appointment soon and replaced our unit next day just in time for the heat. Even tho we didn’t have to use their financing it was great to know they offered it. Customer service was amazing from the phone agents to both sets of people that came back. We will definitely use them again, hopefully further down the road lol.

5 stars for Dustin. He found the problem and fixed it in less than an hour. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. The only problem we had was with the office. We were scheduled between 1 and 5 pm. At 5 pm we had heard nothing from them. At 5:14 I called them and had to leave a message. They returned my call at 5:28 and said Dustin got tied up at another call. They said we were still scheduled. He got to our home a few minutes before 6:00 pm. Once again, Dustin was very professional and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend Speedy Electric I just think the office should contact the customer if they are going to be later than scheduled.

We have been serviced over 10 times within a couple of years and our unit STILL does not work properly. We have not had proper air flow for almost two weeks and it is over 90 degrees in our house. The technician has been out twice just to tell us they ordered the wrong part and we now have to wait another week! Terrible service and quality of work!!!

They have a very cordial attitude and make you comfortable in talking to them. They explain what they are going to do in respect to the service call and assure you upon completion of the work they will report the needed details to you the customer. There effort in cleaning up the work site after completion of the work is something they do automatically without being asked or reminded.Overall the entire process from the placement of a service call request to completion of the service work is very professional by the entire company staff involved. I used them several years ago. I have spent thousands of dollars having the work done again because it does not meet code. They cut multiple holes in the walls and left them open. They did not install electrical boxes at the outside security light installation. Will never use this company again.

Id like to share how SPEEDY this company is.Our AC stop working on Monday 7/26. I requested service through homewarranty company. On Tuesday 7/27, I called the company and was told the first appointment was Friday 7/30.The technician arrived at noon on Friday 7/30. He told us the condenser was frozen and then left. I called the office and was told the technician wont be able to come back until Tuesday 8/3. My neighbors technician arrived at 3pm, diagnosis the same issue (condenser was frozen, need Freon) but came back at 7pm the same day to fix the problem for them. By the way, it was 100 degree on Friday 7/30.The technician arrived again at 10am on Tuesday 8/3. Told us the Freon was good. It was the blower motor that needs to be fixed. He told us the office can put the order right away since it is still early. However, when I call the office on 8/4, I was told that they dont put order THE NEXT DAY. When can I have my AC fixed? TBD.So, if you are okay with how speedy this company is, Id recommend the service. The technician and the office lady are both very nice thought.

I called them for an emergency repair it turned out to be a $63 condenser they only charge me half price for the labor. I asked them to do a quote for a new install on a outbuilding that I was constructing. They came out two days later quoted me that within a week they were installing my new unit for new construction. timing was critical as I was late in the process to be installing HVAC. But they overcame all the office schools with no issue. pricing was competitive and incidentally it was also the lowest. The professionalism and craftsmanship of the installers was first class. They’re only response to all of my questions were yes,. Any issues that they had they resolve them prior to asking my opinion. Anytime there were questions that I didn’t know the answer to , they offered very helpful solutions and best practices for longevity for my system. Cannot recommend Speedy Electric enough. It’s family-owned and the installers and technicians are treated well & highly experienced.

Very knowledgeable, educating, truely interested in customer

I was told at 11:55am Thu 6/23/2022 that a replacement fan blade for my outside unit would have to be found and price obtained (to get my approval) before the technician could return to install new motor and blade. What stunned me at 4:35pm same day was the company said earliest to get the fan blade from Parts House and reschedule might be Mon 27th (they don’t ship nor install over the weekend). This meant my family would continue to suffer in 90 deg. house at least 2.5 more days. The company staffer unsympathetically ended the call “have a good day.”

Do not use this business at all! Very uncaring and unprofessional, they will use profanity on you and hangup and the owner condones this behavior because she hangs up as well. This was a company that i trusted. technician came out to look at my unit and then tell me what they feel i needed to hear and then put something else in writing and have you sign off. Read the clear print first before you sign anything in event that you dont agree with estimate, which was my mistake because the manager threw my signature in my face to cover their deception.

They related a couple of the breakers on an old panel and was great then it happened again and told me they couldn’t find the breakers anywhere because the panel is so old . This was false I can find them everywhere . Because of this false assessment my warranty would not approve a new panel and I have yet to get the issue resolved . The electrician himself was great , they just disk t want to take the time to find the material to replace but more importantly did not convey that they COULD find the replacement breakers but it wd only be a band aid to a prob that wd continue unless the panel was replaced .t home warranty declined to replace the panel BECAUSE speedy told them there was no way to get breakers (fuses whatever they’re called ) to replace the ones needing to be addressed . So no breaker was fixed , no panel was replaced (which was worm they would have been given estimated $2750). Issue never resolved . Because of this I cannot recommend using them for electrical services -
