One Hour Air Conditioning and Heating

You have to apparently babysit these people when theyre working at your house because theyll destroy your property. Started off several years ago busting the bottom step on the ladder going up into the attic, just never said anything about it and let it go. Fast forward to this year and the workers forgot to install the drip pipe and leaked water onto the ceiling. Theyll do the bare minimum when trying to make it right....it took them multiple trips to finally paint the ceiling like they shouldve done from the beginning. They assume a patch job would be good enough. Putting fresh paint on top of older paint etc. Theyll be convinced youre giving them the wrong paint. Theyll tell you what time and day theyll be there and if theyre not late, they wont show up till you call and ask for the owner (2 weeks after saying theyll be out), multiple times over the phone, and still wont get a call back. Last trip they made, the ceiling was finally painted and they still left an open area above our ceiling fan and along the wall by the front door has drip spots. We finally called it good because were tired of dealing with it and having to still go back and fix their mistakes they dont know how to properly handle the 1st, 2nd or 3rd time

The 2 young men that came and worked were very professional, on time, and courteous. We just bought our home so pretty excited about their work. No mess to pick up. They took care of it.

Absolutely impressed with how quick they were. Called this morning after 8 and had someone at my house by 11 to fix my heater. Tech was very nice and professional even explained to me what happened for it to quit working in the first place. Will definitely be calling them for anything else that happens.

One Hour is a great service! They are quick and responsive -and the techs are friendly and efficient.(Kyle is amazing) We have used them for over 12 years. Great company. They also offer an excellent monthly warranty/service plan that has saved us a lot of money.

This place is horrible. The lady that answers the phone needs to be fired or retrained she is so rude. I had a unit installed and they didn’t install the proper air ducts for the unit and house size so here lately I’ve been having issues with my unit shutting off. I called because unit is still under warranty they were making little snooty comments to me after I told them what another company had said the problem was. They are the rudest most disrespectful people I’ve over came across. They want to charge me $89 dollar service fee plus mileage to come out and look at something they messed up on plus said they couldn’t get me in until August because it’s far. Terrrrible!!! Doooo not do business with these people. I have to hire people who actually know what they are doing now to come and fix something they messed up on. If I could give 0 star I would.

Our technician, Kyle, was great! He gave us some of the best customer service we have experienced in a long time. He kept us updated on what he was working on and took time to explain and answer questions even though we were his last call for the day and he ended up staying quite late fixing our unit. I would highly recommend One Hour to anyone looking for prompt and friendly service!

My Ac kept freezing I called for a quote and it was much cheaper than other companies, also other companies couldn’t give a date and time they would be available to come. oneHour came in 30 minutes! They were extremely thorough and explained everything to me and got it all taken care of! If anything occurs within 30 days of them coming out they come back for free! I’m so thankful! This company is such a blessing and highly recommend!

On Saturday we found out that our dog had chewed through our outside AC system power cord and that it wasn’t working. I called Saturday afternoon and they were able to come out first thing Sunday morning. Jim was our technician and he was very kind and quick on the repair! He was very personable, explained what he fixed and was in and out in about an hour at the most. We will definitely use this company again!

John was able to diagnose the problem quickly and repair it. He also checked the system completely to make sure there werent other issues and at very reasonable price. Ive used their service a few times now and very happy with them.

My husband and I are extremely pleased with One Hour Air Conditioning and Heating. We got several quotes from well known companies to family friends, but when we met Jose (Joe), we KNEW were doing business with them. You can believe him when he says they are going to take care of you! The technicians were very knowledgeable on the unit and upkeep. They were very clean and did a great job doing the modifications necessary in the closet. Mellissa made sure I knew when they were on their way and worked as a second set of hands on this project from the office. They are always on time and communicating with me. Excellent customer service! This company made us feel like WE were important. The best part is.....We have already saved $100 on our electric bill!

The Tech came out and we thought it was just a corroded connection, an easy fix. The next day when the problem showed up again he came back and replaced the capacitor. I appreciated that he tried the least expensive fix instead of jumping in with the most expensive option. I have used One Hour for years and have never been disappointed or felt ripped off and recommended them to my friends when they need a dependable A/C service.

Great customer service! Have used them twice now and even better service this time. Was upfront and honest with us. Explained everything and told us what we can do to prevent issues on our new coil system. We will keep using this coming!

Called them to come out and service my ac unit. I had an apparent leak in the line because the pipe that carries the freon was freezing. When they came out the tech stated it was a bad capacitor and didnt bother checking the lines for leaks. He topped off freon of which I paid for plus the capacitor. He left and the. 1.5 days later the system froze up again and so I just simply shut it off. The next day I go to turn it on and the ac unit doesnt turn on at all. I then have them come back out and do a check up and now all of a sudden the ac blower motor is blown or bad. I then call in today to talk to the manager about my concerns and she simply asked me, Are you a licensed technician? And then jumps to the defensive mode and said she has another call coming in and will just refund me the capacitor and hung up on me. These guys are very unprofessional and they do not attempt any kind of customer retention or public relations. I simply needed a better assessment but they want to protect their own regardless if it was their mistake or not

These guys are fast, friendly, and even cleaned up afterwards. I needed a new ac/heating unit and the two techs that came to install it really did go all out to make it a good experience for us, even brought dog bones for our dogs. Definitely would recommend these guys to anyone!

Kyle explored all of the possibilities of different components and helped me make the best decision possible. Then he arrived on time and repaired the A/C in a friendly, professional manner and cleaned up his work area well. I couldnt be happier.

Whats not to love about this place? Ive had other companies work on my AC unit in the past, but none of the service compares to One Hour. They were super fast and thorough. The lady who answers the phone at the office was also extremely helpful and courteous. I would suggest this business to anyone having troubles with their heating or cooling system.

I called this company because my AC unit was leaking water. After being several hours later than the time I was told, the technician made the situation even worse. The tech asked me what the issue was and never looked at our unit (which is less than 5 years old) before telling me I needed a pull and clean which is a $900 job, and it would take 3-4 hours. Then, he proceeded to blame me for him not being able to do anything about it now, because I didnt request this when I called their office earlier. I explained that what I told him is exactly what I told the person at the office. I asked if he was sure of the problem, because he hasnt even looked at my unit. He said he didnt need to, that he already knew. He then told me he would schedule me two days later for that procedure. Fortunately I received some other opinions afterward, and (surprise, surprise), he was wrong. It turns out it was simply the drain lines being clogged and it took only a few minutes to fix. Con artists here folks, I would avoid this place 100%.In addition, their office does not care. I called the office and received a lukewarm apology and an offer to send a different technician. I also sent an email detailing this experience, but no response.

We have used One Hour Air Conditioning Co. for years. They installed our new unit about a year ago. Joe is a very experienced, knowledgeable & respectful technician. He solved our pump issues on our air conditioning unit. Would not give up until he solved it. Would highly recommend One Hour Air Conditioning to anyone wanting a good job done by an honest company.

They installed our unit a year and a half ago. Woke up this morning to no heat, even on auxiliary heat. They were prompt and took care of the small problem very quickly. We’re toasty warm again on this cold morning thanks to them. Would definitely recommend them

Called in the morning at 8am they came out did a quote believe his name was Jim very nice and professional. By about 1:30pm they were here installing my new ac system. Very pleased.

I would highly recommend this place! When my air conditioner went out, I called several places around town and none were able to get to me as quickly as One Hour. Their technician arrived promptly and did a great job! They were very professional and friendly, not to mention, one of the most affordable places I found. One Hour all the way around!

Had them come out to check my ac. Paid the service fee. They said they checked everything and all was fine except needed to replace filter. I did that but the ac still didnt cool. At that point I thought it must be because it was reaching close to 110⁰ outside. Well, now that weve seen a few days go into the 70s and we still cant get it to work I had my husband and son go on the roof to check it out. They said you the compressor isnt even turning on and you can see where freon has been leaking. I called back to this company, hoping theyd come out to fix their mistake (since its clear they didnt actually look at it before). In order to have them come back out to check the ac that they obviously didnt actually check in the first place they want to charge me ANOTHER service fee. $85 down the drain.If Im paying another service fee then Im having someone come out whose actually competent, not these people again. Save yourself the trouble.

I called at 830 am. Person said they would be out that day . The unit was be installed 7/13 2020. At 430I called back and talk to a different person This person almost was rude telling me h I had no appointment after some discussion on that end something happen to cause them today they would call me back when she called back said tech would be out . Note the day was cold the house was down to 57 degrees. 1 1/2 hrs later tech shows got system working not sure what was wrong but it has worked since.One hour is usually great but one person can cause a problem. Information shared could have prevented this. But for some reason the first call was no recognized later. I will continue with one hour mean no one no harm but unity is best in all situations.

Dont book an appointment that you have no intention of filling! Free if not on time obviously is also a joke not a fact. Melissa may be the absolute worst customer service person I have ever dealt with in Midland or Odessa.Part 2: Mindy, the vindictive office b*itch, will cancel your appointments when she pleases, as she pleases. If you attempt to talk to someone about her lack of professionalism or customer service and support she throws a temper tantrum and discontinues service totally.This is a franchise location and i hope the main office is watching because this is quite possibly the worst thing they could do for a name of a business.I find it rather telling that most of the 5 star reviews are all from people who have a single review...

They were great. I was at work and they gave me a pre call so I could get home. They were fast, very respectful and professional. I’ve used them many times and in one word why: Trust.

I have used this company to purchase our new air/heat unit several years ago and they were great until this last visit when they told us the coil needed to be replaced several weeks ago. Finally the part came in and they replaced it (didn’t charge for the coil under my monthly plan I do with them) so just for the service call to replace it was $559 which we were never told about until after they replaced it. Called the office and didn’t get anything resolved with them. I will never use them again and will cancel my monthly service contract I have been doing with them for 4 years. Bad customer service they made me so mad I even cussed at them which I hate doing.

I called on a Thursday because AC went out and they said they couldnt get me in till Saturday. Saturday came around and I didnt even get a phone call all weekend for that matter. Fortunately, Halls plumbing and air came out and fixed the problem in 2 hours

They have always given us great service If you need a A/C or anything Hvac related this is the company to go to, pricing was great, technician was great as usual and explains what happened, how to troubleshoot and cost of repairs, as well as preventing future issues.

My service man was honest and efficient. Joe knows what he is doing. Explained what was going on with heat pumo. Did a thorough inspection if system and discussed all results. Very happy with Joe and one hour.

We bought a new ac/furnace from them 5 years ago. The ac compressor suddenly went out on a weekend. A technician was available within a couple hours to identify the problem but was unable to fix it immediately. The next morning he called as stated he would with all the details of our warranty and replacing the outside unit which they thankfully had in stock. We were able to have cool air again before the end of the day. Thank you for the speedy response in fixing our issue and taking care of all of the warranty details.

Tech arrived on time. He had a procedure established and performed what appeared to be a complete and thorough inspection of our heating system. Dont expect any problems with our heating this winter.

Jim got our heater working after being down 2 days suffering from the polar vortex chilling our bedroom to 48 degrees. He did a difficult diagnosis and got us warmed up. GREAT work at a critical time. Cost $80 and took 30 minutes. How professional is that?!!!!

Recently our air conditioner stopped working. Despite the use of multiple fans and opened windows, the inside temperature of our home rapidly increased to a sweltering 89 degrees. Service tech, Joe Dominguez, diagnosed and resolved the problem both quickly and efficiently. In a short amount of time, we could feel the cool air once again. The guys came and installed my unit 2 weeks ago and had my ac up and working in about 4 .5 hours I was a happy camper the temp was 95 in my house at that time ...had to come back and install a bigger return air vent and have the lines insulated in the attic and outside, job well done these guys are awesome ...thank you I highly recommend .

Ive used this service for several years now. The service guys that come out are always professional, very knowledgable, and good at explaining the work that is being done and suggestions as to what should be done to prevent any problems. I like the service and will continue to use them.

Ive used one hour AC twice. I had a great experience both times. They were able to diagnosis and fix the problem quickly and prices were reasonable. I highly recommend!

They did a diagnostic on ac unit.$89. Thermostat is brand new. Tech said thermostat needed to be replaced. Fee of $280. If that didnt fix problem it would be mother board. Almost $700. Got a second opinion from another ac company. Tech said wires were put wrong. Tech fixed it and only $75 fee. I called one hour ac and spoke with receptionist that answered said sorry you are not happy with service.No reasoning while talking with her. I explained to her I was disappointed with service of diagnostic and the whole wanting to stiff me to purchase something that was not even wrong with ac. She said tech has several years of experience and would not do that! Well what do you call it then if he has all those years of experience. They did not offer to fix bad experience.

Scheduled an apprenticeship to clean ac coil. Said would be out between 1 and 5. About a 3 hour job. Had someone at home with 3 kids waiting. Then they said it would only be an assessment. Cleaning would be another visit. What exactly does one hour mean????

They’re the best at what they do and will do anything in their power to help.(If you don’t have an a/c unit that goes back to middle 90’s that no one makes parts for.) I totally recommend them.
