They installed 2 mini splits on a mother in law suite on our property. We are currently having heating issues with them this winter and have been calling multiple times to get someone to come out and look at them. They were installed less than 8 months ago. We talked to a receptionist and she has told us that someone will get back with us to set an appointment. We have been calling for weeks now with still no call back. I would not recommend them for ac/heating services.
Terrible quality work and follow up service, stay away.1st degree didnt use pvc glue on a new condensate line, had to call numerous times over several days to get anyone to come look at the water damage in my house and get it fixed, couldn’t run my AC in the mean time.1st degree also installed a vent hood at the same house, duct work not properly installed and the vent hood now vents into my attic, setting off my attic smoke alarms. Called and texted for service first on June 13th and several times after, it is still not fixed and has not been addressed at the time of this review.Had 2 brand new Bryant units installed by 1st degree in a renovation in Midland less than 6 months ago. Can’t get anyone to respond to texts, emails or voicemails. Brand new unit is not cooling and nobody seems interested enough to return my calls to come look when it’s 110 degrees.1st degree installed the condensate line to the wrong connection on one of my new units as well, brand new drip pan was full of water because the unit wouldn’t drain. I asked to have the water cleaned up from the new drip pan only to be told by the techs their supervisor told them no, they didn’t have time.1st degree is happy to sell equipment, rush through work and collect payment but can’t be bothered when it comes to follow up service or answering the phone.
My AC kept freezing over so I called these guys out. They showed up, checked my refrigerant level and blew some compressed air on my evap coils. That’s it. $200. My AC froze up another 3 times after they left, the 1st time almost immediately. My days off rolled around and after a quick check of my outside unit I found an obviously burnt wire on my contactor. This was causing my system to stay on and freeze up. After $34 for a new contractor my AC has been working great. I called several times and left a message with no response. My question to First Degree- How is it that a guy like me with 0 experience in HVAC found and fixed the issue after paying $200 for your 2 “professionals” to come out and do nothing? Silver lining- I learned something.
Our AC went out on a Saturday in triple digit heat. I called a few AC/heating services that offered 24 hour service. Nobody answered except these guys who were at my home within 30 minutes of calling! Fast and professional service! Got our AC running and kept us updated on the problem. Will definitely be using in the future! Thank you!
Im sure there are some people who like a hairy man leg sticking out of the driver side window of your company vehicle. I respect the hustle, trying to get them customers but Im not entirely sure much can be said about your safety when youre speeding and weaving in and out of traffic while doing it. Five stars for effort though.
Paid for a new AC unit and it leaked freon from day one...I got another company and they fixed my problem asap...first degree sucks
It would be cool if the driver of the white truck with tool box bed would stop doing burnouts and doughnuts in front of my house at 2:30 AM.
Great company to do business with. Timely and fair. They have resolved multiple issues with our a/c units at work.
Great Family Owned Business!!
Great service
