I had James come to my house for a clogged sewer. He arrived on time and was very professional and protected my stuff while he was doing hiswork. The price was reasonable and he got our drains flowing again.

James came to our house at 1am to help us with a water heater that burst in the middle of the night. He arrived within an hour of us calling. He saved our house from flooding and got out water heater replaced that night. He said he actually keeps water heaters at his shop just for moments like this. Wow! Outstanding service.

Today I called Armstrong plumbing for an issue wed been having for a while, and to my surprise they were able to quickly schedule me due to another cancellation. LaTisha was so friendly, and James was detailed, informative, and fast. I had James come over to unclog a kitchen sink by running a snake through the pipes. They fit me in at the end of the day, and it was even after dark before he finished, with a smile on his face. I’m very pleased with his work. I also had him send a camera up that line and inspect under the house and he recommended a solution to the recurring problem. I explained my situation during these tough times and they understood.I had a hot water heater break flood my kitchen and into my living room late Saturday afternoon. I called and James helped me to remain calm.. I cut off the water and the breaker to the water heater. I tell you I was freaking out and James got me through it..I called other plumbers and got voice mail or robotic instructions; James answered his Phone ..we scheduled an appointment and he was on time. WOW what a Great experience From James Armstrong Plumbing that started out as a NIGHTMARE. Hot water heater broke in the middle of the night and flooded my House, called around looking for someone to help me and was gives the name of James. Well I gave him a call around 11:30am and left message with his office, and received a call back about noon from James, told him my tale of Whoa and Janes took it from there, he was at my house by 3:15pm looked the problem over and gave me a FAIR estimate, I could go on and on but to make a long story short James removed my broken old unit and Replaced and I had Hot water by 6:30pm. We had a slow draining kitchen sink. James responded very quick. He covered the floor with drop cloth to protect our floor and cabinets. Remove the trap for access to the drain with a power drain cleaner. Drain was free and clear and flowed all the water we could run down it. Great clean professional service. We also needed to replace our old food disposal. It was replaced in a short time and a very clean install.

Definitely recommend. Ive used James Armstrong Plumbing for the plumbing issue. They did an excellent job. They checked things out very thoroughly. It was interesting though because right where they where checking I have a fire smoke alarm and its one of the tests they had to do. There was no smoke or anything, but they checked everything up and nailed down the right problem to make sure that nothing else was going on. They were very thorough and very professional. I have been using James Armstrong Plumbing the last 4 years, and Im always happy with their services.

I asked for confirmation on a leak I found with thermal imaging under my slab with a hydrostatic pressure test. After quoting me a ridiculous amount hundreds of dollars over fair market value, he said he would offer a $300 discount for me pinpointing the exact location before the testing commenced. Once he was done, he informed me that the 300 would only apply to a repair. He wanted over $2000 in cash more that day to schedule a repair after I told him I needed to speak to my insurance first. I had to tell him more than once that I wasnt scheduling it that day.Heres the kicker: after leaving a review for overcharging me and not honoring his word, he asked if I could remove my review in exchange for the discount he promised. When I agreed and removed my review, he re-charged me the $300 discount! Dishonest con artist, would not recommend.

James Armstrong Plumbing replaced of main water line from meter to house. Outstanding service and follow-up. Sebastian the plumber, initially installed a temporary line so that I would have water. He installed the permanent line and returned to repair a drip system leak at no charge. He was very professional and courteous. They care they took in completing the job properly and professionally. Price gouging at its FINEST! Do NOT recommend. Leak had already been confirmed and location pinpointed, plumbers directed to suspected location. Once here, owner demanded an astronomically higher price than average ($600+) for the diagnostic (had been quoted $85). Definitely will not use them for the repair. Highly suspect many of their positive reviews are bought.

There was a water pipe that burst so they replaced the pipes in the kitchen. They fixed the tile around the tub. They went above and beyond to get the job done right. They followed up afterward to make sure I was satisfied. They cleaned up the area. I would highly recommend James Armstrong Plumbing and use them again.

I had a water near the kitchen in an area where the washer is located. Water would also occasionally appear in the garage area nearby. All this information was conveyed to the plumber by the guests staying at my house. I was out of the country when these problems arose and called JA Plumbing. They came to the house promptly at the indicated time. The plumber told me the water was due to a leaking toilet due to a broken flange. He indicated the toilet had some play. Although the toilet was not near the garage or the washer area I trusted the diagnosis made by presumably someone who knows what he is doing. However, the diagnosis was completely wrong. Replacing the flange did not have any effect on the water accumulating in the washer area or the garage. It turned out that the leak was coming from an outside faucet that had only recently started being used by the guests.The charge for replacing the toilet flange was $850, more than twice the rate charged by the highest bidder of several plumbing companies I recently polled. I was out of the country and since the plumber claimed the water was coming from the toilet I had no choice but to authorized the work.When I questioned the exorbitant charge for a job that took less than two hours, the owner James said I was paying for their knowledge and skills. However, with said knowledge and skills they misdiagnosed the problem! If you charge an exorbitant fee you should at least guarantee your results.He argued that no one could tell if the toilet was also leaking!They charged me to solve the wrong issue and they charged me twice the going rate. As a remedy, I was expecting they would at least fix the actual leak without any charge or alternately charge me just 50 percent for the misdiagnosed work that I they did . A fair fee for that matter. James instead offered to fix the actual problem for half the price which was a whopping savings of $125 dollars for me. I rejected his offer and will be submitting a formal complaint to the Texas Better Business Bureau and I will pursue a claim against the company in small claims court.Dont trust this company unless you enjoy being robbed.

James Armstrong Plumbing has installed a kitchen sink, replaced pipes in walls, replaced a garbage disposal, unclogged sinks, put new shutoff valves on all sinks & toilets, installed a new shower, installed a new water heater, and installed a seismic emergency gas shutoff valve for the home. Each visit has been a good experience. Id recommend this company to anyone.

Very satisfied with the quality of work (Sebastian) and sticking to it, even when parts had to be run for more than once. I had a natural gas line extended for a grill, and while it turned out to be a lot more expensive than I was guessing, it took Sebastian a long time to get the job done (2 days). So very happy with how it all was done.

I really appreciate Mr. James and this company. My husband past recently and I had realized that I had a leak in my yard. I am on social security and a fixed income and DID NOT have the money to pay for it. I called this plumbing service today they charged me $200 just for the plumber to come out because it was Saturday the plumber arrived told me he couldnt find the clean out line after looking for about 2 minutes and told mebits going to cost $2,400 to run a new clean out line for my moms clog we denied the service call roto-rooters they came out and found the clean out line within 5 minutes and fix my problem now I feel like I was robbed out of $200 because it was so easy to find and the plumber I paid $200 for didnt even try wouldnt recommend these people to anyone call roto-rooters

Just got a quote to fix a few minor issues with sinks in my house. I totaled around ~$150 in parts at most and was quoted $900 without any explanation other than labor with no breakout costs. Either they charge $750 in an hour or they are marking everything up ridiculously. Avoid at all costs.

Called to see about a frost break, the guy came confirmed the break said he was going to have to get behind the wall, break down some brick to get behind it, rebuild the brick once he got found to where the break was, take a picture of the pipe for my insurance for 320, pricey but if he did all that it would be worth it, the problem was with the back side of the hose bib, it had frozen and broke behind the wall, so he unscrewed and reinstalled another one, took less than 5 minutes price was 320, and he threw the other hose bib away so I cannot show my insurance company
