We had James out to check our 4 ton unit because it wasnt cooling and the lying useless home warranty company sent him. He diagnosed the problem as being a bad evaporative coil,and of course because of his ( wrong) diagnosis I was denied repair. Thank you James, your a swell tech.( NOT) I HAD TO CALL A SECOND COMPANY OUT because of his (wrong)diagnosis and they determined the leak was at the flare nut on the expansion valve and had to put 2 whole wrenches on it to resolve the problem, and of course had to add a little freon (which was the cheap part). And what do you know...everything is back to normal. NO THANKS TO JAMES or superior.Call anytime you have a question about my poor experience

Our home warranty company sent out Superior Cooling and Heating Services for a service call. James was very friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. He was very patient and thoroughly answered all of my questions. We are waiting on approval from the warranty company for a new system. Great experience with James. He was originally sent by Select Home Warranty (which are terrible). James recommended replacing the entire system, which we somewhat expected due to the age of the system. Days later still no response from Select, Im not expecting anything. I had other estimates and this price was very reasonable (not too low, not too high, just right). I always have a ton of questions for a big purchase like this and James was very patient in explaining everything to me over multiple calls. His installation team (theyre contracted out) was very professional and courteous. They left the space as clean as they found it and laid down painters blankets along their path in the house to keep things clean as they worked. James then came to run me through the system and help adjust fan speeds, again with lots of patience and explanations. Not a fun thing to replace so glad James made the process easy. Would use again for future HVAC (and probably water heater) needs.
My home warranty claim was denied when the tech spent less than 30 minutes checking my AC system and diagnosed a system that’s less than 2 yrs old to have a coil leak and needs to be replaced. I called for a second opinion and tech explained that a leak can’t be verified that quickly and he offered to add some refrigerant to get the system cooling more efficiently. Now the system is back to cooling more efficiently and we’ll know in 2-3 weeks if we need to verify a leak. Your tech could have offered to help get the system cooling more efficiently instead of quoting 3k plus to fix a problem that wasn’t verified to be the issue. Very poor service and very disappointed in this company.
James has always been responsive and very thorough in the work he does. I feel he is honest in the work that needs to be completed without putting a band-aid on things. I will continue to work with Superior Cooling for my AC maintenance/repairs.
I have had a couple of instances where my warranty company sent Superior (James) to diagnose an issue. Unfortunately, he not only misdiagnosed the problem, but he also provided me with an invoice that he knew would be rejected by the warranty company. He charged me for his service fee, inspected the unit for less than 10 minutes, and provided me with a diagnosis that would result in a minimum $700 bill. He was at my property just two weeks ago and gave me a $1600 invoice for a replacement that was not needed. Luckily, I decided to get a second opinion from another company who actually helped me out. I strongly wish that my warranty company would stop sending this company. I will not be recommending it to anyone. There are other companies in the area that can provide better service. Additionally, I believe that I should receive a refund for the service fee charged.
When I was notified that the company had sent me a message stating that they were going to be working on the project I asked to be fixed. They were very concerned about the issue I was having.
I want to express my satisfaction with James sali and his team who did replace my homes AC units. After my home warranty company denied our case,we start to negotiate with James he came to our house and answered to all of our questions even check our thermostat to make sure the AC unit is compatible with the AC we were requestingThey were on time , they were clean covered work area and stairs ,they were respond to our questions and concern. Overall they did very good job
James showed up 3 hours outside the provided window time. Spent 5 minutes looking at my A/C unit. Didn’t fix anything. Charged me $125 and conveniently the warranty company won’t cover. I’m getting a second opinion. I don’t trust their work.

The service man came diagnosed the my heating issue very wrong saying I would need to replace the whole gas valve which was more costly to repair. I had a second opinion from a different heating company and it turned to be a the flame senor that was dirty and just neded cleaning. The service guy cleaned the senor and we had heat and its still working. I gave him 2 stars because the gentle man was courteous and professional.

I now this was a warranty call but I would have liked to receive a diagnosis of the problem which I havent received. Whatever was told the warranty company hasnt benefited me . The tech was courteous and respectful.

James Sali is the very nice, soft spoken, very talented and patient. He helped us to fix our Heat pump. He diagnosed very quickly, gave best estimate and completed the job with a day. He helped us to get the evaporator coil, cleaned the system and replaced heat pump evaporator coil. He also gave us 5yr labor warranty for the work he did whoch is very nice and shows he is more confident about the work he did. He explained us what’s going on very well. Submitted a report to SHW that was contrary to another service provider as a result the claim was denied - technician indicated that the unit had to be replaced - another provider indicated that the issue was a motor that could be repaired. As a result I now have to pay out of pocket for the repair.
