I am highly recommending this company for HVAC repair. Very thorough and extremely trustworthy. What meant the most to me was how knowledgeable Mitch was about the total system--this is some one who isnt going to just tell you your unit is broken and needs to be replaced. Good hvac tech. Mitch is a very honest person to works with. He told us eventually our unit would need to be replace. We told him since we are on a fixed income we would like for him to at least keep this unit running until could afford a replacement.

We had used a bigger name hvac company for years and realized we were paying a higher price for a far lower level of service! We switched to Burkett Bros and they came out the very next day and fixed the problem for almost half of what the other company had quoted us! They explained everything to us and offered to come back if we had any other problems! We will be sticking with them from now on!!!

Mitchell was super helpful in helping me diagnose my AC problem over the phone. It was a Sunday afternoon and I didnt need him to make a special trip ($100 trip charge) to fix my problem. It seems all that was wrong with my outside unit, was that it was dirty and needed to be rinsed out. That solved my problem. Now I can wait until the fall to have him check my heating system.

I had some HVAC service done by prior to Burkett Bros. but through another local HVAC company. Mitch came in and pointed out all the things that they didn’t and should have done, which told me that he knew what he was doing. He even took the time to explain things to me as I’m not an HVAC guy. His professionalism and courtesy among him and his team was an A+. He took care of my HVAC issue (no AC) and also gave me a good deal on a new furnace for my upstairs, that was past end of life when I bought this house. He and his crew were in and out, showed me pics before and after, and did a final inspection with me in the attic to be sure that I was satisfied and all the promised work was done. Although my attic is still crazy looking, it’s still 10x better than it was before Mitch and his crew came. Burkett Bros is a local new and growing business, and I think that you will be satisfied with their service for any HVAC needs if you need help. Mitch also gave me tips on how to maintain my entire system, including the furnaces and AC units that weren’t installed by him, to keep issues from arising. His business also offers a maintenance plan that I may have to consider if life gets too busy. Mitch is the best he came to my house looked at my entire system found over $6,800 worth of problems and instead of ripping me off having me fix the issues then coming back and replacing it he was able to find a way to replace my whole system with a much better one with a 10 year warranty and it’s only costing me $369 a month. Me and my family couldn’t be happier.

Just recently bought a house. Slowly upgrading but our AC went out before we could get to it. I called Burkett Bros as I have health issues and cannot go without AC. They came out the next day and determined my compressor went out. I already knew that from the first AC guy that came out. My house was built in 1930 and had some renovations that were basically done piece by piece. The original furnace was 24 years old with a very shotty installation. We knew the furnace needed to be replaced but hadn’t gotten to it yet. They discovered black mold in the system which was allowing spores into the house. Without saying they found a hole in my pole, 😂🤣 they also found a hole in my flue pipe which was allowing carbon monoxide into my attic. It all needed to be replaced because they couldn’t repair it. We knew that too. Mitchell didn’t come on like a salesmen. He was very honest and you can see the integrity of his work speaks for itself. They came out on Saturday to assess, installed an entirely new HVAC system today. I couldn’t have asked for quicker service. The house is much easier to cool and our mind is at ease, especially going into a Texas summer. I would highly recommend these guys. They did an awesome job, cleaned up after themselves and trained us on the new Thermostat. I know how to work a thermostat but it was cool to have that personal touch. All in all, awesome people, down to earth, he’s forward with his pricing and doesn’t beat around the bush. They will continue to service my HVAC system. Completely satisfied. This was a referral from my nephew and they didn’t disappoint.

Had an issue with my downstairs unit not cooling well. I called Mitch and he was at my house within about a half hour. He diagnosed a bad capacitor and a fan motor that was on its way out. (11 year old Carrier unit). He replaced the capacitor and everything was up and running. Later that day the fan crapped out. He was able to get a new fan installed the next morning. Overall it’s been running well ever since. Incredibly prompt service at a fair price.

I thought they did a great job getting the unit installed, tested, and running. The condenser was on a new pad. Both the outside and attic work areas were clean. Great service for a great price. Unit has been running without issue for 3 months.

Came out on a weekend and diagnosed the problem right after I called. Got it up and running for the day. Once it failed again, he referred me to a specialist for the AC I had. Very nice guy.

Grade-A HVAC service! Mitch and Jr came out to clean my furnace blower wheel on my 20+ year old unit. Obviously being that old I had some concerns and worries about the handling of the equipment, but they were both professional and careful and were able to get it cleaned with no problems! Burkett Bros also cleaned my condenser coils on my outside unit and hooked me up with new capacitors and a starter kit. I can absolutely tell a difference, my AC is blowing ice with ease now. Besides the technical aspect, Burkett Bros was also very communicative and attentive to my needs. They didnt try to upsell me on anything but rather just made some recommendations which I appreciated. Overall I am very happy with their work and will definitely be keeping Burkett Bros on retainer!

I know seeing a bunch of 5* reviews can sound fishey, BUT in a desperate hour Mitchell came out when both of our A/C units failed at our duplex. Not only did he diagnose one side and give us several options for fixing so we could choose what was best for our budget, but diagnosed the botched a/c on the opposite side from a different contractor. Even gave us a quick estimate for repairs as well as a documented reference with photos of what every issue. 100% recommend.

As a Realtor, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve called or texted Mitch with HVAC questions and photos. Super knowledgeable and understands what most other HVAC techs don’t. I’ve recommended him to my parents and plenty of clients. He explains things in detail and I haven’t found an HVAC guy that has measured up since he left my area!
