Be Aware of these guys they are a scam, they don’t know what they are doing…I had a simple clog in my toilet and they charged me 300$ and still couldn’t fix the issue, they wanted another 300$ to come again and try different things….the guy who came in kept calling his boss asking him what to do. Inexperienced technicians they even asked me to replace the whole toilet , I had another guy come in and he was able to fix it in 10min. I even raised a complaint with warranty company.

Incredible work by Jimmy, Shaun & the team! We are selling our house & had some water pressure issues with the hot water. Shaun came out & determined we had a leak somewhere under the house. Jimmy came out the next day & discovered that not only did we have a leak under the foundation, but our hot water heater was also filled with sediment from the leak. He was able to come out the next day in the morning & had a crew tunnel under our house to repair the leak & were finished around 1 PM. Shaun came back a few days later to replace the water heater & do a pressure test. All of this work was done in under a week. Their communication was amazing throughout this process & pricing was excellent considering the work that needed to be done. Our timeline was heavily considered too, with being on such a time crunch with selling our house. Highly recommend - thank you Jimmy & Shaun! Wow! The professionalism and 100% customer service is above what is expected. I am the CEO of the Denison Area Chamber of Commerce. While I try to always use local folks and members of my chamber, I have a home warranty and they are the ones who service the warranty. It took two weeks to get our leak repaired through no fault of them. The warranty companies are honestly a pain and when you get an irritated homeowner tired of dealing with the warranty folks, who many times are not USA based, you can imagine the frustration. Jimmy and Shawn were incredible!!! Not only did they not give up, which was most likely a pain for them being 45 miles away, they worked diligently to make sure we were happy. Personal phone calls and always helpful I highly recommend them! Oh and they did an incredible job repairing our leak.

DO NOT USE!!! He cost us hundreds of dollars, he has lied and cheated us. Called Jimmy Cash, a plumber in Plano for a garbage disposal. Should be a simple thing, but they managed to cause a leak in our under-sink water filter, which sits right next to the garbage disposal. Didn’t notice it for a couple days, and water had penetrated and destroyed the cabinet floor. We had to replace the sub-floor and floor in the cabinets. Jimmy tried to blame it on the filter, but his guy battered the connections while he was working down there. We’ve had several of these water filters (one brand) for over 20 years, and replaced them only when we thought necessary based on age – NEVER has one failed. After some back and forth, Jimmy Cash said he would refund our money. After repeated promises to issue a refund, he has not. He has ripped me off and I’m not happy. This has become a big project to fix, and it shouldn’t have happened. When it did happen, he should make it right. Instead, he walks away, leaving me with a mess, a broken water filter (his doing), and a bunch of lies. What a disappointment. There are other plumbers out there! Make a better decision than I did…

Our water heater died on a Friday and Jimmy came out on the following Saturday to diagnose the issue. No one else we called (5+ other places) could come out until Monday, which meant several days without hot water before we even knew the problem. Jimmy and has crew got us a new water heater installed that Monday morning. They were quick, responsive, and professional. He didnt try to oversell me and gave me plenty of good advice. I had questions about my ten year old water heater and called Jimmy Cashs Plumbing. They answered all my questions and gave me options without any sales pressure. I decided on the tank-less model. They were able to come out the next day and install the unit. Their workers were on time, they were kind and courteous and of course Jimmy was there also. The did a thorough job AND cleaned up after themselves. Being an engineer, I was very inquisitive about this tank-less model and how it worked. Jimmy was very patient and answered all of my questions. He even gave me pointers for my dishwasher and shower (I asked - he was NOT trying to sell me any thing). Next time I have a plumbing need, I will call Jimmy Cash! (this is a non-compensated review)

I called Jimmy Cashs Plumbing at 9:30pm on a Sunday night due to a leak from the kitchen water valves. I spoke to Jay Clay, Service Manager, who was very polite and professional and explained that I was a little nervous that the issue may worsen to the next day. Jay quickly said that he would be glad to help and showed up shortly thereafter and replaced the water valves, checked the faucet lines and tested everything thoroughly. Our water main between the house and the street cracked and started leaking into the yard. We called Jimmy and he and his assistant Nick came out personally to do the repairs. Jimmy had given us a quote over the phone that included a price range that was very reasonable considering the amount of labor it would take to fix the leak. Digging out the soil and hacking through all the roots alone was worth the money! Jimmy and Nick did a superb job and kept us appraised of the repair at every step. When he and Nick had to leave for an hour to get dinner while the repair was curing he even offered to get us something to eat. You just cant ask for any more personal service! I would recommend Jimmy to any one for their plumbing needs. He now has a customer for life. To cap it all off the repair was done in a timely manner and came in at the lower end of his quote. HONEST and professional plumbers in McKinney, TX. These guys are high integrity and saved me an unnecessary house call and bill. While others could have charged me, they gave me an honest assessment that their services weren’t needed that day. Because of this, they have gained a future customer.

I called this company up regarding two leaky faucets, a broken toilet flapper chain, and an issue with the water temperature that needed diagnosing. He had a lady call me back, and she said they can be out that same day, which is great. There was no mention of pricing or anything of the sort.Then instead of Jimmy, two other guys showed up. They couldn’t diagnose the hot/cold issue. Or the leaky faucets. Or the toilet flapper, which just had a broken chain. The only solution they offered was to replace everything with brand new equipment, and told me a new faucet would be around ~$250. So potentially $500 in parts for just the faucets. Then for the toilet they also wanted to rebuild the entire tank and quoted me $225 for that.I specifically asked if they can’t just replace the chain and they told me they don’t sell just the chain. I ended up going to Home Depot and getting the whole flapper which comes with the chain for $5.Overall they seemed like couldn’t diagnose any of these very minor issues, and their only solution was upselling us on everything. Then we said we’ll have to pass because we can’t commit to something that could potentially near a grand. They said that’s fine, but they still have to charge me $79… pretty much for walking through my house and doing nothingI did not agree to pay that. Nowhere in this process did anyone tell me about a $79 I’ll have to pay even if no work is done. They said it’s on the website, I opened the website right in front of them and there was zero mention of a fee or a service charge! It even said free estimates!They tried calling their boss, but he wouldn’t answer and so they left.Then I get a call from their boss who left me an angry message. Again telling me the fee is clearly listed on the website, which it is not, and that I’ve been informed, which again no one mentioned this fee at any point in time. Then he threatened me with putting a lien on the house! I called him right back and no answer. Tried calling him back for the next hour and nothing. He never returned my call since then, and I really don’t appreciate being threatened.

I had a small job to fix water leaking in the toilet so i called Jimmy and he came himself within 30 minutes of notice which was amazing how fast his response rate was. i told him i was in hurry and need to get it fixed ASAP. He understood my situation, analyzed the problem and fixed it within less than an hour leaving no leak at all!!! he also explained what actually happened and showed me the parts he replaced. this company stands by their professionalism and honesty. price was reasonable for the job. they truly earned my business. i am going to call them from now on, quality service at its best. thanks Jimmy!

Outstanding Service! Jay was on time, up front and fully transparent when it came to my Moen Posi-temp cartridge replacement. I had another large truck plumbing company come out to my house this morning to remove a stubborn cartridge that I was unable to extract. They did this and installed a new Moen cartridge however, the repair didnt work as water was still leaking from the shower head. The large truck plumbing company was quoting me over $1,200 to replace the valve in the wall, which would have required breaking ceramic tile, backer board, etc. I listened to my wife and secured a second opinion and Jay came out and fixed the problem with a cartridge I provided. This removal/installation took was very fast and I was extremely relieved that I didnt have to remove tile to replace a valve in the wall.To all that read this post - use Jimmy Cash Plumbing first. They will respond quickly and more importantly, they will treat you with respect and dignity and do the job right the first time.Thanks again Jay - great work.

I originally chose this plumber because they had positive reviews, but my experience was different. I hired them to replace a water line between the city equipment and my house. After having it replaced I found out they did not reconnect the sprinkler system to the water line. They just broke he connection and left the connector lying in the water sprinkler housing. I called to have them return and fix it and they refused without additional payment despite my having a 5 year warranty.. I was forced to hire another company to make the repair and sue Jimmy Cash Plumbing for the amount i was out, which I won. They did not get a permit and inspection from the City of McKinney which is a requirement. If they had done this, it would have been caught when they were making the repair. So buyer beware.

People this company may seem good reviews but this company may put your lives in danger. This is our review and this is very recent. They will take care of you when they want to get business. Follow through the job when something go wrong it will be bad and sad story. Here is our story....DO NOT HIRE JIMMY CASH. HE DOES NOT HAVE CUSTOMER SERVICE. My husband and I spread the news because we do not want you to suffer the way we struggle for the last two weeks. This company installed water heater in our small restaurant last October 2017. During install we heard explosion. Of course we are not expert on this so we took whatever he says. All he said were all lies. Since day 1 the new water heater was not functioning well. No water heater coming out. We called him last year he made some adjustment warm water came out for short time. His explanation on this is again is not true. He knows how to lie. We called again after few months less than 6 months install. He ignored us. He is changing the option of his phone prompts to avoid us. Then finally he responded. A technician came because we said the city is watching us because of water heater is not working. Of course the city does not want us to operate without water heater. So my husband shut down his Resto to comply with the city. One of Jimmy’s partner came. He said he is almost electrocuted. This is related to the explosion happened during install. The technician ran away after I requested to give us the invoice for the install. He does not want to be part of Jimmy’s deal with us. There was a safety issue on his install and he does not want to fix it. I hired a city listed contractor and we finally knew that Jimmy made a safety hazard install that may burn the building. Do not trust yelp and google rating. Trust BBB rating. I will put this rating in BBB so he will not victimize other people. This company care about the money not the safety and happiness of his customer. Your call.

I will never use anyone but Jimmy Cash Plumbing. In 2015, all my pipes were old and breaking down, causing serious foundation issues. They were able to come in right away and replace everything while making my wife and I feel very comfortable and confident in their work. A nightmare situation was easy as can be.Recently we thought we had a leak in those same pipes (turns out it was the large amount of rain Dallas had experienced) and asked them to return. JCP showed up the very next day during the weather and went above and beyond to make sure I had no issues.Jimmy Cash Plumbing is quick to respond, does great work, is easy to communicate with, and extremely professional. Weve always interacted with Jay who is great about answering any questions you have and providing recommendations to solve your problem with a fair price.

Installed hot water heater 5/15. In January 2016 unit began malfunctioning, would not stay lit. Called made an appointment with answering service for following morning -- no show. Called again, Pat the receptionist answered an set another apt for Thursday 130pm with a pre call --no call no show. I believe that they installed the wrong water heater either because they are incompetent or on purpose because it says on the heater Natural gas we have propane, the 300 gallon tank is less than 100 feet of the outside water heater closet in view. Residents are seniors and not only worried about there safety with gas, ignition problems but there bills were much higher since installation.There is no resolution of this problem as of today.

They came to fixed the Pumbing of my house 2 years ago and they assured me that their service had a 5 years warranty. We found a leak and I called and texted them several times. Jimmy cash is one of the worst plumbing company in town, they will not care about their costumers, what they do is they hire subcontractor to hand dig and expose the leaks and never pay them and the home owners houses get mechanics lien due to non payment please be careful with this company, jimmy and jay clay will lie about footage to charge more to the costumers and pay the subcontractors way less
