Texas Buildmart

Ordered 3 linear vents with the boxes order too long to recieve and I paid over $60 for shipping fees. Then due to the way the boxes are designed it would not work for the space between the ceiling joists. They were all in the original 📦 unopened except one. One of the box was opened but products unused. I tried to return them within 30 days of the purchase but was told I needed to pay 30% restocking fee. $350... thats a joke. Anyone wants them at a discount price let me know.

Retrofitted my entire home with their AC vents. Photos dont do them justice. These are heavy duty, incredibly well designed and constructed vents that provide a greatly improved appearance over the old, ugly, ill fitting vents. Night and day. The prices are very fair when compared with competing products that dont offer much improvement in function or appearance over the old vents. Customer service, order process and shipping speed are exceptional. Id give them six stars if I could. Im from Florida but maybe its true that in Texas everything is bigger and better. Hahaha

I switched out all the vents in my home with Texas Buildmart vents and they look SO much better. Much more modern and cleaner than the traditional dust collecting vents. I used a large vent for the return vent which made noise. I called customer service and they advised when used as return vent to remove the louvers from the backside. Problem solved. Fast shipping, excellent packaging.

While the vent I purchased was described as a return vent I cannot use it because there are non removable plastic air flow guides attached which cause a tremendous amount of noise. I would very much like to return it for a refund because it was quite expensive.

We replaced all our old vent registers with Texas Linear Diffusers.Talk about an upgrade... inexpensive, easy instalation, WOW! Not only do we get compliments but weve noticed a BIG difference in better airflow (open vents fully) and lower energy bills. WIN-WIN!!

Just changing out the old style vents to these new slotted ones made a world of difference in making our living room look more modern and clean. They were easy to install and I did use some caulk around the edges so there were no visible gaps. Very clean looking and easy to install

I have reviewed this in the past but my review -also a 1 star- has seemingly disappeared. Once installed, these vents look modern and attractive. But they dont really work. The internal design obfuscates the air flow. Therefore, A/Cs work harder to get the air flow through the vents. They then produce a lot of noise.I ordered and installed over a dozen of them until one day I thought I could hear a train in the distance, the noise of an engine. I realized later the noise was from the vents. I also realized then, air was just coming through timidly. I uninstalled all of them and went back to the original ones... double the work, double the pay to an installer and I also gave all of them away.I find it strange reviewers giving 5 stars to these vents and posting no pics... which makes me wonder about fake reviews. At least, I am able to post a picture of the lonely one left inside a closet.

Had a few hits and misses...sizes but no issues returning them at all. I love love the look. So sleek. O ky wush ac return vents were available.

Amazing product !!! I purchased and renovated all my diffusers . I hope soon we also can get air vent return grills to complete the look ! Worth every dollar :)

Ive purchased several TB vent covers off of Amazon. Extremely overpriced for what you get. The rating airflow is extremely loud and the slits are awkward to adjust and/or remove.If you take a look over at TB website, product ratings are littered with fake reviews. Wouldnt be surprised if its the same case over on Amazon and Google listings.Also suggest reading through other low reviews posted here below before purchasing.

We ordered thousands of dollars worth of linear grilles from this company and found that the company did not publish the correct dimensions for the openings needed and that each linear grille was actually larger in size that described. We called the company was was told they couldnt do anything to help us and they would look into the issues. The other problem is they advertise that each grille can be either a supply or return grille but in fact when you remove the black center pieces from the grille to turn them into a return they look horrible and not something you would want to install in your home.

Great company and products-Had to return one and no hassle or issues-Bought some nice items from them, no one else has this quality.

Speedy delivery and the vents fit perfect. Great retrofit upgrade if you dont want to invest in cutting and mudding drywall.

The linear slot diffusers sold by Texas Buildmart are top notch quality. They look superb and create a modern polished look to my old now new apartment. Their customer service is also awesome: my GC was quick installing these but he also made a mistake in the measurement so the fitting was not right for 2 of the items I ordered. However Teas Buildmart vendor was no shy in issuing a quick return label so I can ship it back for a refund.

I love them but I’m getting a lot of condensation. I recently changed my air ducts and insulation. Just got a fnew five(5) ton A/C unit. My A/C guy said he think the vents are restricting the air from coming out. I made sure they were all open. Have you got any complaints reference this?

Product came in a timely manner and looks great. Built all my boots with can stick and duct board with single slot diffusers. Customer very satisfied. Will definitely order all my linear grills from you in the future!

Great customer service and I love their products. Not exactly cheap but they are good quality and the best part is that they blend with any modern decor. I spray-painted a few (very easy) to match the wall color and they go unnoticed. One suggestion would be to make the diffusers in a more neutral color (gray/beige) instead of black to make them even less noticeable.

Great product but the super large grills come broken on the edges and is pretty impossible to return and they are expensive…. I have right now 3 that will be over 1k that are broken and I still have because I wasn’t able to return.Other than that beautiful grills for a home. Give a modern touch to the property

I decided to replace my old vent covers to a modern one and it turned out nicely! Price on Amazon was higher than website, so I ordered directly from their web site and saved about $100. Great product and customer service!

These are awesome vents well made and very flexible in their design. We had to remove several of the baffles to allow the proper airflow for my system. Very easy to configure. I really wish they came in other color choices besides white. Great product

Sturdy and modern looking products. Purchased several for my returns and some ceiling registers, and am happy with my decision. One cam with a slight bow on one corner, but I was able to straighten it with no damage. You definitely need to plan ahead before purchasing for how you will go about installing them if you are opting for the clean screw free look. My only vice is that adjusting them is a bit harder than it needs to be getting the dampers in the right orientation, and reinstalling the dampers can be a bit tricky too if one pops out on you during the adjustment process.

These are wonderful! They look so nice and modern. Love that there are no visible screws but they were a little hard to install but I think that was our vents.

Love the new modern look but difficult to install. 10x4 vent needs more space.

We have placed several of the defusers grm Texas Buildmart in our home. They are well constructed, look great, and service has been very good. Definately recommend.

I love the design and ordered 4 from Amazon and 4 from the company directly. 3 of the vents have imperfections of the paint that has dried and is uneven in texture. I contacted the company through Amazon and the sales rep was not helpful. Took forever to respond to my emails and was willing to only refund me $10, which is les than 4% of my initial order. It’s way too expensive to have any imperfections. Thinking that maybe it was an issue with the Amazon stock I reordered direct from the company and 1 of the vents is the exact same with the imperfect toon of uneven paint.

Bought grills for wine cooler . Had to remove the dampers inside of grill ,even open they were to restrictive for my application. If I use again in high velocity airflow situation I will use larger grills . Easy to remove dampers and great material, and great build. Customer loves them

Good product, a little confusing on how to install and tolerances for older vents are tight. But look great.

New AC vent grills went in easy and look amazing, but are too noisy. Had to remove both black curved baffles in each slot to lower the noise level. Its so loud I cant sleep. Very disappointing.

It was easy to order my registers, and reasonable delivery time. Product looks good it appears to be very well-made.

The air vents are too noisy. Had to remove the black baffles inside of all 17 air vents that I purchased and installed, to bring down the noise level, and even then they are still too loud.

These AC Vent covers provide a very nice updated / modern look. The mounting screws are nicely hidden inside the vent, rather than the old style which had screws on the surface. The instructions had a great suggestion to wrap a flat-head screw driver in tape to avoid scratches while adjusting the vents during installation. I would encourage them to add a suggestion to wrap the driver bit in tape as well to avoid damage while setting the self-tapping screws into the metal plenum. Very satisfied with this product !

I bought the back a/c vents to go in my 1954 house,adding a modern flare to it. High quality and great looking!

Great customer service. The product is much better looking than the original vents. I took out the diffusers and painted the interior frame black on most of mine to help the improve air flow of the design. I believe larger slots would be of benefit in improving air flow. Why this is an issue is because the reduced air flow puts more of a strain on the furnace/air handler fan motor. I do not have pressue readings from before the change out from the original vents to these new ones. However, at full fan output I am now at the max in the internal pressure readings of the air handler. If you are building a new house, you can accomodate using these nice looking vents by installing a few more in the house. Your HVAC folks can hopefully do the math and size ducting and locations to accommodate these vents. I would buy again.

They are pretty, but beside that, so many issues!!!- Not letting enough airflow to arrive to the room.- the minute you install it you halear the ac blowing so strongly, to the point everytime the AC unit stop, I say omg thank you.I mean its so so more loud then regular grille vents.Obstruction of cold air , and makes more humidity in the room.Also, makes the AC Condenser work 3 times as hard.Which makes other issues.If I could I wouldve return all of my vents back to them

These vents are a much nicer quality than similar vents i can buy locally. i use them on all my projects.

The Vents looking pretty nice so its getting two stars.However! they have many issues.- They are much much louder the any other vent, the wind blowing strongly on the small opening which make your house sound like a warehouse.- They are built really bad in China, if you dont have an exact perfect square/rectangle it wont fit in nice, and actually caused me to push it, and take the air duct out of its location, all those ducts has sealers, and well they are not straight squares, and the vent dont give you this room to play.- They are fairly pricy, but has unprofessional marks on paint, the coat is not neat on them.- They can only move back and forth, but not side ways, which limiting you to get the air spread in the way you want too like regular vents.- I got the tool so it was ok for me to install. but you need a special tool to put the screw on the side. because regular drill and a bit are just scratching the paint, you need like a snake Philips bit to get the right angle.Design is not everything, you want to sleep and have quiet in your room. not extreme blowing.

The Grills look great and they came quick

Love my linear slot diffusers, they look great! Just need to make sure you’re a little gentle putting them in so you don’t scratch them up. I suggest to mark the holes prior then pre-drill a pilot hole to make it easier.

Some registers were missing from my order due to back order. When they shipped, they got sent back for some reason. They sent them back out immediately upon my alerting them to the issue. This has been the only glitch in my many transactions with them.

16 out of 17 diffusers did not fit in my existing registers. Seems to me these should be made a little undersized. Dissatisfied.
