I got a new airconditioner with heat pump install about 8 months ago and yesterday my new system had a small component fail (it happens, boo the manufacturer). I called Kens for service, and I know it was a little lucky, but they had a team at my door in literally 15 minutes.This was an intermittent failure and was (annoyingly) working when help arrived. The technicians didnt not dismiss an intermittent issue and troubleshooted deep into the machine where by touch they found a component much hotter than it should be. The failing part was ordered and delivered next day. The technicians came with the new part, installed and tested everything, and I am back up 100%. With a failed component, time from phone call to back in action was 22 hours. That is pretty bloody amazing. Kudos to a great service!I have recommended Kens to people before, and with service like this, you better believe I will continue to recommend them in the future.

I really appreciate Patrick of Ken’s Heating and Air for coming out and first educating me on my options when it came to cooling and heating my garage. He was very informative and professional, handled any concerns that we had. Ended up with a mini split unit that gets the job done. Called them out again when my home AC stopped in the middle of the summer. He came out the very next day, and once again educated me on the problem and my options. Needless to say we won’t be using any other company for our AC needs.

I’ve exclusively used Ken’s for the last 15 years. It’s hard to find honest, reliable people to work on your house. And Ken’s have also dealt me straight and done excellent work. Cooper came out to my house today and fixed my broken AC in no time flat. He was super polite and professional. Ken’s is always quick, attentive and affordable. High recommend for me. I bought a new HVAC system from Kens in May 2024 for $9,800, plus a 10 year parts warranty and labor plan. The unit worked fine until I used the heat for the first time in November. My November electric bill was $608 for my 1200 sf condo! I called Kens to check the HVAC system. They reported everything was fine. I received my December electric bill and it was $687! I called Kens again and this time they determined the heat and A/C were running at the same time and said it was the thermostat (which they moved in May) that was the problem and billed me $210 for the service call. This should have been caught when they were here the month before, which would have saved me a lot of money. If I ever have to buy another HVAC, God forbid, it wont be from Kens and I dont recommend them at all.

It was such a pleasant experience to deal with “Ken’s Heating and Air Conditioning”. Communication is everything that matters in situations where you have a need to fix something ASAP. They were on top of it and called every time that there was a new development in the process. Sometimes it takes time to fix things, specially when there are parts that need to be replaced, but having someone that is guiding you step by step makes it easy to go thru the process. Techs were well trained and knowledgeable and very respectful. Issue was identified in 15 min. Parts took time to arrive. Fix was done effortless. I would recommend this company 100%. Prices are fair. One more thing, in my humble opinion house and appliances warranties are useless, the process is over complicated and you would be better off saving the same amount of money and paying out of pocket than dealing with a house warranty process. It would expedite your process. In my experience house warranties make the process as painful as possible to not pay for the repairs. You would be better off dealing directly with the repair companies directly.

Technicians arrived ahead of schedule and completed the work quickly. The main office kept me apprised of their new arrival time. After they left I went into the attic and saw that the drain pipe they suctioned had not been reconnected to the air handler so I did it myself. Overall a good service call but the technicians need to make sure that everything is buttoned up before leaving. 4 out of 5 stars.

We have used this company for several years and have always been satisfied until NOW! I learned (too late) they are under new management and they no longer provide the same customer service or reliability they have in the past. We paid them $2500 and had their techs out 4 times and they still couldnt fix our A/C. They finally told us we needed a new unit. They gave us a quote on a new unit that was $3000 more than 2 other quotes we got from other local businesses. We are NOT doing business with this company ever again. BEWARE of this company!

We called Ken’s late afternoon on a Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. They came first thing the next morning. The service man was very nice and knowledgeable. They were very communicative about arrival time and further work needed to be done and they were great about setting up a time for an estimate and scheduling to come back out. The first time we used them was when our 20 something year old a/c system decided to cease to function on one of the hottest nights of the summer, and of course, on a weekend. They had our new unit installed so fast, we hardly suffered.This time my compressor stopped working. They had a technician out within 2 days. He diagnosed the problem very quickly and had another technician bring the replacement part to fix the problem. They had the part in stock which I also appreciate.The office people are great too. They answer the phone promptly, and are knowledgeable and courteous. They communicate very well during the appointment process.Overall an outstanding experience.

Firstly, replaced A/C system with 4 ton (not requested) unit to cool home of 1,081 sq.ft. Called after installation stating the installers left without stating they were finished, no invoice given and manuals left by unit. Out of 3 installers, one slept on back patio. Had second opinion on unit by another A/C company and told I was correct, unit too large for home.UPDATE: Things were made right and now happy with the results.

He explained how to do self maintenance To minimize any potential issues. He also explained the operational choices with the Gree mini split. Sometimes YouTube is not enough. We are located at 10611 N ih 35 --- we got 2 brand new ACs from Patrick last year, here we are in 2024 one unit hasnt been working for 2 months. Weve been trying to get scheduled in for 3 weeks and they finally came out last week and Fixed the issue. Never came and checked with us, never verified the issue was fixed, sent us a bill for $1000 and the issue hasnt been fixed. Got rescheduled for 3 different dates this week and STILL NO AC.We have dogs and Austin is a Dog friendly city and this AC company is def NOT AC friendly.Tried calling Patrick 6 times in 2 days no answer. Blower on WineGuardian was blowing at the beginning of this service call but no compressor working. Changed Ctl PCB and now nothing works. Techs took entire DO25 unit back to the shop. Techs were very polite and professional!Updated on 1-24-24Due to my giving Ken’s a 3 Star rating based on their own “auto-generated” request for feedback in the middle of the job, they decided that was too low of a rating for their Management’s liking and promptly called me to inform me they were no longer interested in repairing my Wine Cooler unit even though I had highly complemented their professional staff. They did agree to return my unit back to the house but to my surprise, they did not even have the decency to notify me when they dropped it off but simply set it just inside the garage door on the floor , which is where I found it when I went to check the mail.Again, the actual Techs were very courteous and professional but my advise to anyone utilizing this company for service, DO NOT post a review of anything less that 5 stars before your work has been completed or you may wind up in the same boat. Due to this last very unprofessional action by the Marketing Team and Management I would lower my rating to a 1 or 2 Star. I will end on a positive note in that after my unit was left in the garage I received a call stating they would refund my initial Service Fee since they did not repair anything. Kens was outstanding in repairing our Daikin mini-split heat pump (dont buy one of these--their failures are frequent and costly even while the parts warranty is still in force). They handled the frustrating negotiations with Daikin for getting them to replace the failed compressor and board(s) by replacing the entire outside condenser unit, and Kens charged fair rates for their labor and materials.

Technician was great and fixed the problem fast only advice that I would give is the individuals that install the AC, make sure they install and do everything right. they capped a pipe they shouldn’t have. so when it overflowed, it would trip and turn off our AC and that was what was causing it to be hot on that side of the house

Kens has taken great care of us for years! Our AC went out yesterday at 4:40 while the temperature was 104. They had us back and cool before 2 PM today! We will have them replace our unit in the fall since its 19 years old but at least we are not suffering now. Highly recommend Kens

5 Stars to Kens Heating and Air in Marble Falls TX.I purchased a premium York air conditioner 3 years ago from a different AC company. It was working with the exception the thermostat displayed Error Faults 3 to 5 times daily. Even with all the error faults it still kept on cooling my house. But 2 or 3 times a year it would stop working completely and Id have to call the original installer (Not Kens) to perform warranty work. He would scratch his head because he couldnt find anything wrong and than reset the system which would work for a few months and considered it fixed. He quit taking my calls. I had a few other AC technicians out to trouble shoot my AC unit without success.Finally I called Craig Schooler at Century A/C Supply and explained my situation. He referred me to his top company, Kens Heating and Air in Marble Falls. I live in Austin TX... Ken Goad, his technician, and Craig (the York Rep with Century) all came out and spent over 5 hours trouble shooting the entire system. They finally discovered the original company I purchased it from had messed up and wired the system incorrectly. After 5 hours, my system was fixed!With their many years of experience, Kens Heating and Air was the only company that took the time to diagnose my AC correctly and fix it. If you ever have an AC problem or need a new AC installed, I highly recommend Ken Goad and the staff at Kens Heating and Air as the only AC company you should call. Any company can sell you an AC, but very few can actually fix it if something goes wrong.A big thank you to Ken at Kens Heating and Air and also to Craig Schooler, the York Rep with Century AC Supply.
