I was Lucy enough to purchase a place that was installed and serviced by Clarkson & Co a few years back and they will be the techs I use from here on out. All of the employees are very friendly and polite. I had Isaac out today and he was awesome, fixed my problem quick and had a good conversation during it. Thank you everyone at Clarkson & Co.

Everyone at Clarkson was extremely helpful in diagnosing and fixing my air conditioning .Two techs showed up to diagnose the problem ( can’t remember their names) but super nice efficient and smart.Mark called me and quoted the part price andtold me when it would be in.Gabby who answered the phone each time I called was extremely nice and helpful.Michael put a bid together for me on some duct work and dropped what he was doing at the time to come to the house and show mewhat he suggested .Super guy to visit with.And was super informed on the materials and costs.Then Isaac showed up to fix the air conditioner .Was fast, efficient, friendly, and knew what he was doing, It was easy to tell he liked what he was doing and informed me what he was doing along the way . AND fixed it!!The folks at Clarkson were awesome every step of the way!!Adding onThree installers came to install new duct work for our house and were super hard working, informative, and did great work.Cleaned up afterward and answered all my questions.Great job!!

Clarkson & Company, a family owned and family run business, came to our 4-bedroom home to replace our air-conditioning unit.They came well prepared to do the job. They were on time, respectful, very knowledgeable, and they worked in a very professional manner.Their work was excellent! The air-conditioning unit was up and running in two days!My husband worked for a very large company in the air-conditioning industry in California for over thirty (30) years, and he would have loved to have had a work crew like Clarkson & Company’s crew. They even vacuumed the floor on their way out!We would have no fear in recommending Clarkson & Company to anyone!

If there were more stars to add, Id add them and heres why:1. I installed my own mini split system in the house we built. Saved some money, right...........?Yes, initially, it did. But when I had issues with the complicated 3 head mini split system that I installed, every single company that I called to help was unwilling to assist because of my genius plan to install myself. Everyone EXCEPT Clarkson & Co. Not only did they help, they came out three separate times to get us back up in running because they knew our AC didnt work and it was August in Texas.2. Its easy to recognize a happy employee when you see one. I had three different techs out to our project to help us, and all three of the gentlemen that came out were kind, courteous, and helped me understand my problem while fixing it. They liked to talked about their work. This is always fascinating to me when I see a true tradesman that just loves what they do and serving other people.I absolutely understand how hard it is to run a small business, keep people happy, and make money. The recipe is simple, but it isnt easy. Respect to Clarkson & Co. for figuring it out. Obvious servant leadership within their walls. Thanks for what you do!

Every employee involved in replacing my a/c unit was very professional, including Kathryn in the office, Michael Saunders, Installation Supervisor and technicians Alvaro, Shane and Tanner. I greatly appreciate the efficiency with which they worked, their knowledge of product and attention to caring for my home when the installation was in progress. I would highly recommend Clarkson & Company. I would like to add that Armin was the first to come when I called and recognized the problem right away. He was the last to come to check to see that everything was working as it should.

Ckarkson & Company are true professionals. From office staff to the installer/estimator and the crew who did the installation of our new heat pump and duct work, they were all courteous and respectful of us and our home. We called Clarkson around 9:00am asking to get on their service schedule to install a Nest Thermostat. They told us they could get someone here between 2-4 same day. Paul arrived a little before 2. He was knowledgeable and very helpful and very nice to talk to.Our entire family has used Clarkson over the years and will continue because of their great service and the wonderful people they have working for them.

I am so happy with the great service and response I receive from Clarkson & Company. I have never had a service contract before and I am so glad I chose this company. They really take care of their customers. Paul came out to the house today and was able to figure out what I needed and got it done. So grateful for his experience and expertise.

Paul and Shane were right on time for the appointment for our annual inspection. Both units were inspected and one issue needed attention. After a thorough explanation we decided to make a minor correction to the system. I have worked with Clarkson and Company for about 15 years and I have the confidence that they will efficiently and competently make the necessary repairs. Paul and Shane represented Clarkson in the same professional way I have always know Clarkson to be.

I had three positive experiences with Clarkson and Company one I was able to call on a Sunday evening and actually get a live person to assist me. 2 His name was AB. He stayed on the phone with me and my husband At least 30 minutes while we tried to troubleshoot our AC that was not working. We appreciate his time and his patience.3 as early as 9 AM the following morning Paul arrived and quickly assess the issue and repaired the AC unit. He was thorough and helpful and we cannot tell you how much we appreciate the efforts of your staff and attending to our needs.

Paul and Michael came to our house to address a complicated situation with our dryer venting properly. They tackled the problem efficiently, knowledgeably and with a great attitude. The consultation with the Clarkson & Company team to analyze our problem was outstanding, with a solutions mindset on an unusual problem. Great team!

Paul with Clarkson and Company heating and air conditioning serviced both of my AC units. He was very courteous and professional. Paul explained everything in depth and gave me suggestions I should do between service calls to keep the AC units in good repair and increase their longevity.

Really impressed with Armin our technician. Signed up for maintenance program.Highland Lakes installed our systems for the builder. Could not get them to perform service maintenance over the years. Armin is both professional and knowledgeable. He replaced a capacitor today, costing just that part. Having a maintenance agreement is the smartest thing Ive done, with my aging HVAC system, and Clarkson keeps the old girl humming!

One of our home A/C systems stopped working and I called Clarkson & Company to schedule a service appointment. I have been a customer of Robert Clarkson and his family business for close to 20 years and have come to rely on their honesty, integrity and professionalism as our go-to company for all heating and A/C issues. Robert’s people, both family and staff, are always friendly, courteous and professional and we trust them completely to address our problems and either make the necessary repairs or advise us, as they did this time, that given the age of our system, it would be better to do a replacement. We went with their recommendation and Albaro and Julio did an excellent job installing the new system in an overly hot attic.New A/C systems are truly expensive but I trust Robert and his staff to guide us through the decision process and give us competitive prices for the work. They have always been quick to come to our aid when we needed them and I’m happy we found them so many years ago. Needless to say, I highly recommend them!

Once again, Clarkson & Company responded to my A/C issues promptly and efficiently. Two years ago, they replaced my larger unit and unfortunately discovered mold in my duct work. Corrected the problem. Really good people to work with.

My AC quit working on a Thursday evening. I called Clarkson and Company that Friday morning. They were able to get a technician out within a few hours when other larger companies gave me an 8 hour window. Paul Lebarton came out saw that the coils were frozen. He provided guidance on how to get the system to cool off through the night. Clarkson and Company had another technician out, Michael Lindley, the next morning. Both technicians were honest and professional and provide above and beyond customer service. I will be recommending Clarkson and Company to everyone in the future based on this interaction. Great customer service and a company that I feel will follow through with their promises and stand behind their work!

I called and spoke to Clark about installing a minisplit in our chapel and he sent these three guys to Eagle’s Wings Retreat Center. All i can say is, excellent work from Issac, Jacob, and Shane! Clarkson sent AB out immediately to service my 22 year old unit and add R-22 after another company came and did nothing because they did not keep older refrigerants. Clarkson& Company have always been the best to us. Always quick to respond and come service. We have known that we needed a complete replacement for several years now and finally the day came that a simple repair wouldn’t work. Our house is older and needed extra manpower to get the job done with new wiring. Tanner, Jonathan and Ben worked tirelessly for about 12 hours to finish the job. They still had smiles on their faces by the end of the day/night and I’m not sure how. They were complete gentlemen and even stayed and cleaned up. Thank you again!!!

We are extremely pleased and impressed with the work done by Isaac Porterfield and his brother, Ben. They showed up promptly in the morning and worked non-stop on installing our upstairs air conditioning unit, maintaining a pleasant and friendly demeanor all day while working in a hot attic and making numerous trips up and down our stairs. After 10 hours of work, Isaac showed us the finished work, which looks clean and neat, and from the onset, is working beautifully. We are tremendously pleased and as I said, impressed with the quality, professionalism, and friendliness that Isaac and Ben exhibited at all times. We will not hesitate to use Clarkson and Clarkson in the future because of their five star work! We were not getting enough air flow to one room, they sent someone out to evaluate it. He was on time and very professional, then the repair team came on the scheduled date and time. They did an excellent job and even took less time than they thought it would. When I got my bill it was less than they quoted because they deducted the extra time they had figured in. I just wanted to let everyone know how pleased we were with the new install of our indoor and outdoor units. The indoor air handler was a very difficult install in a very cramped space in our attic. Isaac and his crew did an excellent job. Everything was covered in the house for protection and the site was spotless when they left. They were determined to finish the job in one day and stayed until 7:30 pm. We couldnt be more satisfied.

Family-owned, clean excellent work with young and hard-working technicians. They provided cloth coverings throughout my house to keep things clean and undamaged. They replaced ducts, drains and electrical to make it look sharp! They also surprised me with a beautiful touch screen thermostat that I love.

5 years ago Clarkson company told me I needed a brand new air conditioning system. The second company I called said the AC was okay it needed a new service disconnect. I called Mr Clarkson and explained what had happened. I dont think he cared I was disappointed in them. 5 years later the same air conditioning is still cooling my house. Find someone else to repair your air conditioning.

THESE PEOPLE VALUE THIER CUSTOMERS. We moved to Burnet a few months ago and this company was recommended. We signed up for their annual maintenance contract that includes inspection and tune up of our HVAC system twice per year. They promptly kept to their schedule and gave us a great initial tuneup. A few days ago a Racoon tore up all our low voltage wires to both compressors. I call these guys at 8:00 AM and the wires were completly replaced by 11:00 AM the same day. We even got the work done at a discount because of the annual contract. I highly recommend them for your air and heating needs.

They responded quickly to my phone call and got a technician to my house. I received a text before the technician arrived with a picture and a brief CV. A nice, personal touch! The technician diagnosed the problem quickly and came to me with pictures and options to correct.

Install crew was very thorough and explained everything about our new system to me in detail. The crew cleaned up all debris and dust that was made and left the house clean. I decided late last Summer to move permanently into a Highland Lakes home which I had used as a Summer weekend retreat for the past 12 years. So this year is my first taste of Winter in the house. It took only one really cold spell to convince me that the existing heat pump was inadequate to maintain the indoor T above the shivering level. I contacted Clarkson and Company, based on the excellent reviews online, and Mike Clarkson arrived the next day to evaluate the existing system. He did complete measurements of the house and arranged to carry out a load assessment to determine the size needed for a replacement unit. Based on this assessment it was clear that the existing system was inadequate, and we agreed upon a new installation. Most impressive to me was that before Mike left that first day, he altered the old thermostat wiring to markedly increase the heat output. I slept much better that night.Further more, Mike arranged for two installation crews to handle the work and finish within a single day. The crews were careful, clean and efficient. They even constructed a walkway in my attic so that my access to the indoor units was expedited. And the new system has resolved the heating problem. I certainly plan to retain the company for any continuing maintenance needs.

Two thumbs up for Shawn, Clint, and the rest of the folks at Clarkson. Not only did they expedite the ordering of the parts needed to repair our AC unit, they asked if we would like to borrow a portable unit to help us survive the July triple digit temperatures. We were very grateful.

Even though our AC is near the end of the warranty, Clarkson has followed through with any issues we have had and never left us feel on our own with this. I am happy with their service despite having some problems with equipment which I feel are more on the manufacturing side. All is good now thanks to Clarkson.

I have been in the home building/remodeling industry for the better part of 20 years. I have a pretty good understanding of most things when it comes to construction but, HVAC is a specialty.Unfortunately, I didnt find Clarkson & Clarkson sooner. Last summer I hired another local HVAC company to take care of the issue and was sold a mini split unit that didnt come close to fixing the problem.C&C were very honest about the challenge of the expanded a few times homes scenario. Based on what they were seeing the believed their recommendation would fix the issue, but it was a bit tricky and couldnt guarantee supplemental work may need to follow.I was also under a time crunch as I was hosting a special event at my home.Clarkson & Clarkson were spot on. They were professional, knowledgeable, courteous, careful about the work they did, covered everything, cleaned everything once done, made it out prior to the event even though they were backlogged to assist me and were fair priced.I will not use another company other than them and highly recommend their work.Great job Clarkson & Clarkson team or professionals.

Great people; quality service! Clarkson and Company was recommended to me by another business in the area, and I have been very pleased with him and his service. Mr Clarkson met with me personally to provide an initial evaluation and estimate. He could not have been any nicer or more helpful as we were deciding on a new A/C unit, handler, as well as duct work repairs. He was very thorough in his assessment of our needs and offered suggestions based on our true needs, not just ‘selling’ us the most expensive equipment. He and his crew were punctual and considerate. They placed mats down to ensure that they did not track dirt into our home and cleaned up well after themselves. They even replaced an old vent screen on their own accord and without charge. Although more materials were needed than originally estimated with the duct work, Mr Clarkson stayed true to the original estimate and did not charge us any more than what he had told us. I respect his values, work ethic, and honesty, and I would highly recommend him to others in the area.

Clark son and Company are very nice to deal with. My heater went out during a very bad weather day. They showed up quickly and got my heater going promptly. The tech was knowledgeable, quick and very respectful. They will be my go to for all my Heating and Air needs from now on.

We highly recommend using this company! Everyone was very friendly. Our air conditioner stopped working during the night on a Friday night. We called them Saturday morning, and they had someone out to fix it a little after noon that day. The technician was very friendly and informative. We will be calling this company to handle any of our future heating & air conditioning needs.

My house was struck by lightning. I had no power to the AC/Furnace unit. When I called for service they were out the next day. Clint was great. He explained and showed me where everything was burnt and not working. All I have to say is I would not use anyone else. All the office workers were great!! Very helpful ,friendly and very polite. The Clarkson Company is number one in my book. Just a quick tidbit my insurance company sent someone out and they never even mentioned the burnt wires and missed other important things. Outstanding transaction from start to finish. Low pressure sales and very informative. Catherine was very helpful setting up the install date and answering my questions pre-install. Their team arrived on time and upgraded our entire system in one day. Michael and Isacc lead their install team and are pros. This was not a small project. Everyone moved with a focused purpose and was like clockwork. Efficient, productive, thorough, and kind. The site was left even cleaner then they began. When all was set up Issac walked me through the new touch screen thermostat while Michael leaned in to add in some additional bits of info to clarify or identify any potential confusion I was having. I have used Clarkson and Company for years to provide my heating and cooling requirements, and they are the best by far at what they do. Their office calls ahead to confirm scheduled appointments, and their technician calls when in route. He always arrives on time with a big smile on his face, and of most importance, he knows what hes doing. American Standard is a quality piece of equipment, and Clarkson and company is a quality organization.

My home is 13 years old and I started to have problems with my old Carrier A/C that was installed when the house was built. The last failure of the Carrier prompted a need for its replacement. Mr. Clarkson came out and explained the cost in fixing my old A/C with the option of replacing it with a new American Standard AC and expanding the existing return air flow which was inadequate. I solicited other bids for a new A/C and Mr. Clarksons bid was very competitive. So I chose to go with a new American Standard variable speed A/C. This technology saves energy and reduces my operating cost when compared to a traditional single speed compressor A/C. On the morning of the install Mr. Clarkson was there along with his crew and got things started. Micheal led the install team and all members were knowledgeable , efficient and very respectful. They kept me apprised during the day as to their progress. Install was finished late afternoon and Michael instructed me on the new features of the A/C along with setting up the optional web interface. At the end of the day all the old carrier equipment was removed and the floors and stairs to the attic were cleaned. Mr. Clarkson called me after the install and checked on the AC and ensured everything was running and answered any questions I had. I am very pleased with the experience dealing with his company, his employees and my new American Standard A/C. I would highly recommend them whether you need A/C work done or a new unit..

I recently had a problem with my HVAC system. I called another company in Austin to diagnose the issue and give me a quote on the repair. Two technicians came out and ended up telling me I needed a whole new system starting at $25K and the least “fingers crossed” estimate was $6K for a patch job. A friend who had used Clarkson and Co in the past recommended them. Mike came to my house in Manor, found a wire in the outside unit which had shorted out a fuse in the attic. For under $200 total, my heater works perfectly. Need I say more? This is a ten star review.

This young man Isaac came late in the evening around 7 pm and repaired our AC. He was very informative about how to prevent our system from not draining the condensation, but also redesigned the drain system to drain better. He was a delight to have in our home and we are so appreciative of his excellent work.!

We can strongly recommend Clarkson A/C. They not only know their business but also stand behind their work. After one year we had a major failure of our new A/C system. Technically we were out of labor warranty period but Mr Clarkson made the major repair and did not charge us for it. Honorable!

I needed A/C service late on a Friday afternoon and found out that my A/C man had just retired. I called Clarkson & Company and was told that next appt avail was Monday. I explained my predicament and was told that theyd try to direct a team that afternoon. Within an hour I got a call asking for directions. The team arrived at normal quitting time and got my A/C up and running. The team was friendly, professional and efficient. Sharing this event with friends and neighbors in the area indicated that their experiences with Clarkson & Company were superlative. Clarkson & Company will have all my A/C business in the future.

The winter storm caused some damage to my AC unit and Clarkson & Co was very responsive and helped me with my warranty claim. They are very professional and great to work with. The office staff is also exceptional to work with.

We do most of our own work at the ranch, so installing a new name brand mini-split system was not outside of our wheel house. When we were ready to charge this new system in our guest home, we were warned that the manufacturer would not warranty the system unless a licensed tech charged the system. A quick look on U-Tube convinced me. We were also warned that most places would not charge/service DIY installed systems, but Clarkson did not hesitate. They came to the ranch when agreed, and they worked until the job was done. Thats saying a lot because almost all of the manufacturers factory flairs were problematic and needed re-flairing, and that was difficult in that some were inside the walls or underground. I never asked, but I suspect that Clarkson routinely double flairs all its installs because they told us that they knew of this issue, and you cant find leaks until the full system is evacuated.A month or two later we had Clarkson come to our main house and upgrade thermostats and service our 4 AC/heat pump systems. A couple of units needed a touch of Freon, and we really notice the improvement. We are now on a maintenance plan with Clarkson, and while we still like to do our own work, we are leaving the ACs to the professionals at Clarkson.

My A/C quit on a Friday at 6:30 pm and it was 90 degrees outside. I first contacted another company that had 24/7 emergency repairs on their web site. Their 1st available slot wasnt available til Tuesday, so much for emergency repairs, clearly dont understand their job or care about customers.So I called Clarkson and Company and got a quick call back from Mark. I didnt need service that night and Mark committed to give me the first slot on Saturday. Saturday morning, Mark called when he was on the road. He had the problem fixed in less than 45 min. Now I know who to call if I have a problem in the future. Thank you Mark and Clarkson & Company.

Clarkson & Co are a pleasure to deal with. They have been very responsive, courteous and provide a great service at a reasonable price! I have been doing business with C & C for a number of years, and they never fail to provide excellent service.

I’ve used Clarkson for years at all of my rental properties in Marble Falls and I have never been so upset with their service, lack of communication and disrespectful attitude from the office. Any time I need them to service a unit, Mark has been pleasant and given me a call before he comes out and after he knows the issue to let me know the cost and see if I want the work performed and then they stay in contact with me to let me know when the work is being done. This last experience I had with them was nothing like that. Mark came out and called me and let me know that the unit needed a small part. I asked if he could pull it from another unit and he said no he had to order it. And then I never heard back from them. A few days later my renter called upset because they showed up a few days before unannounced and woke her and her newborn and toddler up and she didn’t have her dogs put up. She told me they came and installed the new part but needed yet another part and were ordering it and she was just checking in to see when they were coming back. I told her I never heard from them about any of that and she said she was surprised because they said they would call me, and they usually do. No one from Clarkson ever called me back to let me know what the issue was or that they came and replaced the first part or that they needed to order a second. So I called them the following week to find out if they did indeed need a part and Susie in the office was snarky and used a rude tone with me. When I asked if a second part had been ordered she was rude and acted inconvenienced, as if I was supposed to know it without any communication from them. I asked when I should expect for it to be in and she laughed at me and told me “We will call you when it comes in Nicole”. So I then asked if I could just let my renters know some sort of frame of reference so that they could have heat, would it be in a week or a month? She then with a very rude tone told me, “oh no I would imagine that it would be some time in the next few days but I don’t know the shipping schedule”, again as if I was supposed to know or that I was some sort of pest done asking. After being spoken to so rudely with my questions that should have been addressed by proper communication the first time and being laughed at and told to just sit tight and expect their call, they showed up a second time, unannounced! They never let me know what parts were being ordered and how much they were or let me know when they were going to get the work done. And after a second angry call from an upset renter with another no call arrival, a $700 bill just for the initial visit, and work done without my knowledge or consent, I can guarantee you that I will not be using this company ever again. And it looks as though I’m not the only one experiencing the same exact issues with the office staff according to the other reviews. Very unfortunate.

It was definitely disappointing as we have used this company both at my office and residence in the past. We wont be using them again.
