I have used Lowerys for years and Was completely satisfied but today changed that; Lowery sent out a nice young man (on a service call) but he stated he didnt have all the tools he needed to do the job! Also Stated he knows how to do the job I requested but dont often do this particular job. The quote I received was ridiculously high I believe. Like I said he was a nice gentleman but why should I pay a service charge for someone who doesnt do that particular job?? I have used this company many times before, they have always been reasonable. I intend to continue using them but not for this particular job. Thanks anyway.
Great follow up even on same day on a holiday weekend. Adrian was great - gave me an honest report of what was going on and made a good recommendation for a follow up. Not an emergency , but looking forward to getting a good quote on overall repair of kitchen sink fittings and valve replacement--finally got the problem repaired. Dont blame them for the delay as my problem was not related to freezing temps, but did happen right after a very cold blast hit us and others had frozen pipes and/or heating issues. But, Mike did come out and did a great repair job. Glad they have a 24 hour line in case of an emergency. our problem was inconvenient, but we were ready to get that repaired! Did a great job.
After calling Lowery, about our heating unit, Trent came and inspected the unit and explained everything which was needed, Trent was very nice, very respectful. He said Jim would follow-up and explain the repair and replacement. Jim was also very nice, both were/are great peoples person. Thanks for all the help assistance .
Carlos was our service man. He arrived when he said he would, was polite,and took time to show me the issue, sticky pressure valve. The visit was $67 and change on a Sunday morning.I don’t know what else he could do to improve upon. I will definitely ask for Carlos again!
On time every time and quick to complete the job. Our clogged drains were clear in about 15 minutes. We have used Lowery 3 or 4 times now and couldnt be happier with the service and the price.
I was referred Lowery plumbing from a friend and he said I wouldn’t be disappointed, and I wasn’t. Great customer service, friendly and affordable. The guy that came out actually get all the praises, he didn’t rush anything, he took his time and made sure it was done right. He was awesome!
I called Saturday to have a main line cleaned out. They offer a $49 drain cleaning. The guy goes out and calls me stating he can’t run his snake because he is pulling dirt back because the main drain has a hole in it. The main drain is only a few years old and schedule 40. He was upset when I questioned him. I called another plumber on Monday and they came out and 15 minutes later had it fixed. No problem with main line. It’s not worth $49 if they don’t do anything. Save the frustration.

Actually I thought we had used Lowery before. Gave them our information. We had this same problem a few years a coupling cleaning. Trent came and serviced our unit completely a lot more than the last company did service. Trent was polite and very friendly. Thank you Lowery and Trent!
Furnace go out- Lowery has you covered. Christmas Day pipe burst- they’ve got that too. PVC breaks in your wellhouse at a t-junction- yep! These guys have kept my house running.And as a single mom of three that doesn’t have time to learn to fix all that myself, I am grateful for their fast, efficient services, and all around nice folks one the phone and in person.
We had our sewer line repaired under the house(slab). It was suppose to take 3-4 days but took 13 work days. They got their equipment stuck in the lines two different times and it took days to get them loose. They had to finally tunnel under the house to remove one of their tools. It was just one thing after another. We were without water for a couple of days and 3 nights ( not a pleasant experience).
The plumber Dallas Fraizer was very professional and did a great job !!Scheduling was difficult and we had to follow up multiple times. We initially called at Tuesday 8 am and was told late afternoon. We called back at 8 pm Tuesday and it was as if nothing was in the system but were told the plumber would call, and no appointment information. We called again at 10pm Tuesday and set up again. Called Wed at 8 am and confirmed an appointment. Dallas came at 10am.
Trent was very knowledgeable of the issues with the HVAC system and he resolved the issues. He is a very friendly and caring person for his profession. He didnt leave until he made sure that the system was fully working. I am most thankful for Lowery making every effort to get a technician to the house today, in view of the fact of much colder weather approaching tonight.. I would welcome Trent for any of my needs from Lowery.
I had every drain clogged on one side of my house. They were able to quickly find the blockage and clear it and didn’t try to up charge me. I will be using them from now on.
We called Lowry sinxe they had a low price to clear a drain. Sadly after they came the first time they could mot clear it. Upon them leaving water was still coming in under our cabinets. They said we meed someone with a camera. We waited for two days for the camera man. All he told us was that there was definitely something there . And we needed a hydro wash which would not be able to come put for two weeks. That will be another $225. My drain was still clogged. To their credit they did not charge us for the camera guy. The camera guy told is we should probably talk to our home insurance. Now I am completely stressed thinking this is going to cost a fortune. We reached out to the Plummer who we had called previously. He was here by 11:30 the next morning and charged us $50 less than they quoted us. He came out and had the drain cleared in 45 minutes..
I called about a clogged toilet and a guy was supposed to come out that day. Unfortunately, I missed the call and neither of us was home. I called to reschedule for another day. Lo and behold, we got a text a little later and he came on out and fixed us up! Great service!

A technician showed up around 11:30 pm on a Friday night for a plumbing emergency at my house. He was so kind and fixed our problem in less than 30 minutes. I cant believe they only charged us $50 for a night time call. I will use them for all of my plumbing needs from now until forever.

After several months of struggling and family trying to get things done, it was a must to call Lowery! Highly, highly recommend calling for at least a second opinion. They use scare tactics to get you to believe them and buy a whole new unit without question. Also, 13 minutes from the time he came in, and explained things then left is not enough time to properly look at everything, and find at least a better tone, or way to help the customer at the end of it.

If I could give zero stars I would.I called last night and the on call tech Albert called me back and said “I am not going because it’s too cold and I told them I wasn’t going out” in a rude tone and when I told him he was being unprofessional and rude he said “I don’t care and to tell them too”. It doesn’t take much to be kind. I’ll never call this company again and I will let others know as well.

We called Saturday early evening around 6:30 pm. The lady told us the on call tech would call us shortly. He called us about 15 minutes later and we explained we needed our kitchen sink unclogged. He said he had 4 others to get to before us and to just call him back on Sunday. We called back on Sunday with no answer or returned call. We tried three times. We called again on Monday around 1:00 and were told the tech would get ahold of us on their way over. We waited until 5:30 pm and tried calling back. The answering service said they’d have the on call tech call us and let us know it was a repeated call. It’s 8:06 pm and still word. We were able to just get ahold of another plumbing company and they were right on it. Horrible way to handle business and glad we have other options.
Office is not knowledgeable on provided services or pricing. Needed a leak detection under a slab done (no additional work just tell me where you hear the leak sound loudest) and was given a base price but wasnt told how much more it could be or why the price would even increase. It was all based on the technician and what he feels. Sounds like a salesman to me.Reply: charge line, listen for sound..not rocket science.

Because technician did not arrive when first planned, our countertop installer had to unhook the water and gas. When plumber arrived to reconnect the gas and water, his estimate was way over my estimate (over $800), so I paid the service charge of $71 and hired another company, whose final charge was only $178.
The service was extremely fast and the technicians were friendly and very professional. I will definitely be calling Lowery again for all of my needs!
My wife and I bought a 1950s ranch style home in Lubbock. It had original sewer lines and was in need of repair. Called three local plumbing services, and Lowery was the only quote given that would not destroy our property and yard. We worked with Phillip, Bryce, Isaiah and Abe. We could not be happier with the results. Isaiah and Abe worked LONG hours for several days getting our sewer line corrected. They were polite, friendly and awesome. From beginning to end we had a very very good experience. They are now are go to HVAC and plumbing guys!

Had main line problems. They said it was a 6 foot section that needed replacing and said it would take 5 hours to fix, I would take the fence down and put it back for a $200 discount and two guys do the job for $2200 - $200. They get here at 2 and unload the trencher, and one guy starts working, and the other guy leaves to run an errand at 2:15 and gets back at 2:45 to 3. They finish the job at 4:30. Replace a 7 foot section but biledl me for a 10 foot section. The guy that was running the trincher wanted to put rock salt down, and the other guy didnt want to do it because it was gonna take some time to go get it. Overall, they did a good job but cut some corners, and I feel like I was overcharged a little, but in this case, we are at their mercy. Had the main line replaced by another reputable company we thought back in 2005, and they used the wrong pcv pipe.
Lowry Plumbing did a good job on my plumbing repair the only complaint I had is that you had to schedule every separate thing they do because a different technician only does this or that and it took a while but the work itself was was excellent and the people who came and did the work were very nice and gracious and especially a young gentleman named Dallas was extremely knowledgeable explained in great detail what he was going to do and it made you feel very comfortable and confident and their services

We called early Friday morning to clear a kitchen drain. We were told they might not get to us Friday but if, not then they would on Saturday. When my called on Saturday evening to see if they were coming, my wife was rudely told, Well get to you when we get to you. They never came. We called Jay Young Plumbing on Monday morning and they were here by 11:15.

Was recommended Lowreys by my sister but have had nothing but issues. They went to the wrong address for plumbing repairs, AC Technician called and never showed. They also lost my receipt for what I paid for at a wrong address. When I called them Monday to get it figured out, nobody had any idea what had happened. Seems like very bad communication and organization

I called Lowry’s at 8:10 pm on Monday evening 8/12. The dispatch that I spoke with said someone (tech) would call me shortly. I called back at 10:10 pm (2). She said she’d have tech call me. Called again at 10:19 still no call from tech. Dispatch called me at 10:35 to see if I heard from tech. 11:33 pm, I called dispatch to cancel call out because I still hadn’t heard from tech. If I wanted to wait till Tuesday morning, I would have called Tuesday morning. Do better Lowry’s for the customers that remain loyal. I will not ever call you again.

Well as usual they have been great to work with. Our house was hit by lightning back in August and they came out the next day and got us up and running. Well we are still having problems and our insurance is giving us problems so they came out today (we called yesterday afternoon) to work up a bid to replace it. It has been so long ago since I have worked with a company that carries for its customer like they do! I can tell you I will not use anyone other than them, and if they dont do the work I will ask for their recommendation! They truly are the BEST in my book.

The contractors Keith & Javier that are outside contractors for Lowers just finished my Sheetrock for me today! It looks FANTASTIC! They did such a good job I cant even tell there was a big hole in my wall! They were so professional and friendly! I would defiantly recommend these 2 guys to do any of your sheetrock work for you!!The first picture is where Lowery plumbing cut out my sheetrock to fix the pipes for my washer and dryer, and the 2nd and 3d picture is where Keith and Javier fixed it! Cant even tell! I am so happy with Keith and Javiers work!
Top notch customer service!! We recently had some plumbing work done on our home. Our forever home was not so beautiful underneath. We began our journey by meeting with Ira. He brought our broken cast iron pipes to our attention and drew up some options for repair. As you know, plumbing is not cheap, but we knew that this type of investment was necessary to keep our home functioning without further damage. Isaiah was our crew leader and worked from sun up to sun down to get the job done. He was very communicative during the process and very respectful of our home. Javier was the one who repaired the hole in our laundry room. We had some tile that needed to be repaired. I had purchased some and unfortunately it was too thick. Without any hesitation, Javier jumped in his truck and drove around to multiple stores to locate a match. WOW is all I can say. This company is the real deal and it goes without saying that customer service is a very important priority for them. Installed water heater on Monday, 7/7 and have been smelling gas every time water heater turns on (mainly after showering). Have had several technicians come out, two said no souce of leak found and it was normal to smell gas after installing, one said yes tried to fix but didnt have part, another said yes it was noted but warehouse closed cant get the part, another came replaced the part and said if still smell gas call, called after hours guy said youll have to call in the morning, called this morning and they may be able to come out today but cant guarantee. Guess thats okay since its not their homes and they arent the ones smelling it. So frustrated and upset. They should install new water heater and refund our money for the headaches and smell weve had to put up with for a week. Unacceptable service.

Called around 540 today to get my AC repaired. Within the hour I had great communication and response time and my unit was repaired. Justin was the technician he was very polite and professional. Found the issue fast and had a great solution to get us back up and running. Would definitely use them again and highly recommend Lowery for your needs.

Dont believe their ads! I have a kitchen sink backed up and called because of the trust Lowery commercial that they will unstop your drain for $49. They didnt answer the phone, even during business hours, but they didnt bother to call back. After my 3rd call, the did answer, but told me that they were not accepting any new clients. I asked why they advertise then, and just received the same rote answer. Obviously, they want people to call and they can pick and choose what business they keep, and can reject the $49 ones. I recommend to NOT TRUST LOWERY!!

Ive heard good things about Lowerys so I decided to give them a call. I was having issues with my sink, when I turn on the water I could hear a loud noise. The tech didnt know what the problem was so he called someone for assistance. Instead of fixing the issue he was trying to tell me how to repair the problem myself even though I paid for professional help. I told the tech I dont want to repair the problem myself that is why I called. The tech said they dont have the part in stock to fix my problem and told me to give Lowery a few days to get the part I needed but I would be charged another service call fee for the follow up. Horrible service if you ask me and a waste of money.I followed up with Lowerys after this post on 11/09/23 The lady found my info and said I would get a follow up call but I’m still waiting today is 11/13/23

The gentlemen that provided propane underground line repair for my Mother were very professional and took a lot of pride in their work. The project took 2 days but they took their time to make sure all aspects were accurately completed and everything was tested to be certain. They went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with the project completion. We definitely recommend them and will use them again.
I paid 721. to replace a waterline and I did not receive a receipt. I asked the technician which informed me I have to wait two weeks to get. I also don’t like how Lowery maintenance my split unit they installed for me. It spits out dirt which shouldn’t be happening with the maintenance every 6 mos. Also the receipt I received from Lowery when they came out to install the split unit doesn’t show the break down the $5200 i paid was for. When giving a receipt for a job you have to make it make sense. I’m gonna have to find another plumber

DO NOT use this company, not only are the EXTREMELY over priced. They did some plumbing work for us. They had to move our AC unit to do the plumbing. During the process, they broke a part on our unit. They have informed us they will NOT fix the part they BROKE. Now my family and I are having to deal with a HOT house until we can find someone to fix what they broke! Dont want any other families to have to deal with this issue!

I had a complicated drain problem that required multiple visits and involved coordinating with the city in switching out their portion of a drain line that connected with my own line. Lowery identified the problem using some really impressive camera equipment, worked with the city (more than once) and got the job done. I couldnt be more grateful or impressed with their work. Ive always heard if you use Lowery Plumbing they fix the problem BUT there is always another thing to fix. we had a capacitor replaced on our AC unit. they replaced that ,BUT then the tech said our fan motor wasnt working. (the another thing) I told him it was working a few minutes ago and he said well it isnt now. I went inside and turned the AC on at the thermostat and low and behold the fan is working. The tech was angry and threw the old capacitor in his truck and said NO CHARGE. I got a call the next day about the amount we owed. I said the tech said No Charge . I did expect to pay something but was surprised to hear the amount. I said I wanted to come in and speak to the manager and the lady said well you will be talking to me. She was not the manager. She was very rude on the phone. I went to the office and got no help there. I paid the bill and left. I felt Lowery takes advantage of my wife & I , Two senior citizens.The AC has been working fine in all this hot weather.
We had a leak in our kitchen. I called on Tuesday and Lowery responded first thing Wednesday. Our plumber, Neal, was courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. He even cleaned up when he was finished. I will call Lowery’s whenever I need a plumber.

If you use this company make sure you get a quote or you will be gouged! You can’t talk to the owner or manager if your not satisfied. They have a unique way of charging and will not discuss how your being charge your just told your paying for expertise their techs have. The technicians were very friendly the issue I have is no quote was given and I didn’t really believe it would be necessary based on their reputation. I had 3 bathroom sink stoppers replaced at a staggering cost of $700 and that was after a discount. It was about an hour of labor to do the repairs.

Wish I could give zero stars.Called to have a shower drain unclogged. The guy proceeded to try to unclog it using only a drill auger for about 5 mins then tried to talk me into getting my shower concrete busted out and replace pipes that are literally 5 years old.I told him that I thought they would use a standard auger though the roof clean out because the way the pups are angled in the shower, a drill auger does not work. He said no and continued to try and convince me to replace pipes or get a camera in. There is nothing wrong with the pipes, just some hair build up from a bunch of long hair woman in the house.So after doing nothing and not fixing the drain I was charged $53.I used lowery because they offer standard flat rate on weekends, now I know why. Because they made money by not doing anything.Really pretty irritated and will definitely never use there services or recommend them to anyone else.Just try to update and get money out of you.

Im compelled to share my recent experience with Lowery due to the sheer discrepancy between the prices they charged me and the market prices of the parts involved.I had called them in to take a look at my malfunctioning air conditioner, believing that they were professionals who would provide fair and transparent pricing. Instead, I was left utterly disappointed and taken aback by their business practices.When the technicians diagnosed the issue, they indicated that a specific part was faulty and needed to be replaced. The charge for this part, not including their service fee and labor, was a staggering $370. Out of necessity and the immediate need for cool air during a particularly warm week (108*F), I agreed to the service.However, I later discovered, upon conducting my own research, that the exact same part was available in the market for a mere $70. This difference is not a slight increase or a negligible markup, but a clear case of overcharging to an unreasonable degree.Moreover, I felt a lack of transparency in the way this transaction was conducted. At no point did the technician explain why this part was so costly or whether there were more affordable options available. The absence of this conversation led me to believe that the technician was more interested in my wallet than my comfort and satisfaction as a customer.I understand the necessity for businesses to make a profit. However, charging over five times the market price for a part seems unconscionably steep. It is imperative that customers are treated with fairness and honesty, principles that appear to be lacking in my recent interactions with Lowery.I would advise potential customers to approach Lowery with caution. Ensure you are aware of the market prices for parts and are comfortable with the potential of being charged significantly more than the market rate. It may be beneficial to explore other service providers who uphold higher standards of transparency and fairness in their pricing.Despite the fact that my AC is now functioning, the sour taste left by this experience has led me to regret using Lowery for my air conditioning needs. I hope that they consider revising their pricing strategies to better reflect market standards and demonstrate respect towards their customers. Until then, I would be hard-pressed to recommend their services to anyone else.
I had left a review a couple months ago and had a total different experience. It was the entire reason this was the first place we decided to call.. It was top service. Well now it’s not. Our A/C is not working again… I was told to call back anytime and y’all would come out to help. That was not the case this time so that was a lie. And the technician (Carlos) did not even want to come out to take a look at it to even see what was going on and he was RUDE! LAZY doesn’t even begin to explain this. Unsympathetic is the word for it. They Did not want to help. I could go on… I am livid because we have a little one and our house is insanely hot because I trusted to call this place back to help us and now they don’t even want to come out and help us when they said they would anytime!! We will NEVER be calling this place again. We will be taking our business elsewhere that actually wants to help. This is supposed to be a place of service and they sure know how to push business away!

Been in the apartment maintenance world since 2010 and never experienced a worse vendor. Will never use them again. Called for a wiring problem on electric heater. First visit they said was late in the day and would take to much time. Second visit said coils were bad and needed to be replaced. Ohlmed coils and they were good. Had to figure it out with help from an election friend but it works now no thanks to Lowery. Was definitely billed 2 different service calls but neither tech knew more than me. Next time I need an hvac expert I will NOT call Lowery!
Lowery has been such an amazing find for us. They are professional, efficient, friendly, informative, and do outstanding work, all at a reasonable cost….even if it’s after-hours. Carlos got our AC running, and Bryce got my sink working again. Lowery has become our go-to for our HVAC and plumbing needs. I HIGHLY recommend them!
A technician named Carlos came out to our home because our Air conditioning unit was not working. He told us it was the capacitor but did not have the correct size so he placed one that would get us through the evening. ( temps were in the 100 that day). He said he would be back the next day to place the correct size. I paid the tech $365 dollars in cash to avoid the extra fees that he had said woukd occur if I used my debit card. The tech informed me he did not have receipts to give. But i could call the office for one in the morning. He never came by or called the next day. I have been calling for someone ro come by and place the correct one. Finally more than 2 weeks later a service tech shows up and takes an attitude with me saying that hes not going to deal with me, that I need to call the office . What terrible, terrible terrible service. I will be reporting this to the better business beureau. I felt extremely mortified by the service given by this company!!
I used Lowery for a drain cleaning back in 2019. The technician that came out used a hand tool to clear out my bathtub drain, the same type of hand tool that I used. I thought this wouldnt be sufficient but the technician told me that if this didnt clear out the line that they would come back to do a proper cleaning of the line. 4 days later I had a clogged drain again. I called back and I was told I needed to pay again for another drain cleaning. I was a little upset and told them I shouldnt have to pay again since I received poor service the first time the technician came out. Now almost 4 years later, I called to have a drained cleaned and I was told that they would need to get approval to service my house again. This is already 2 almost 3 days after my initial request for service and I didnt get a response. I had to call to check on my status of my request and I was told there was no record of my initial request. All of the other plumbing companies in Lubbock are better then Lowery. Its sad that a company does not want to do business with someone after a little criticism for having poor customer service.

Chris came over to scope a sewage pipe on a house we are considering buying and walked into a pretty strange situation with both the seller and us (potential buyers) being in the house. Chris handled it like a true professional and was able to provide us with the information we needed to help us make an informed decision about our purchase. He was able to get a bidder to give us an estimate on repairs very quickly and has been kind, helpful, and just a genuinely good person throughout the entire process. I will be requesting Chris to come scope lines form here on out and Lowerys will be the first place I call! Great customer service!

The sewer started backing up into our showers on a Sunday evening. I called Lowery because they advertise no extra charge for evenings/weekends. The lady that answered the phone was nice but I never did get a technician to call or come help our problem. I called back 3 times over 2+ hours and talked to the same lady each time. She assured me the technician had received my information but she couldn’t tell me if he would actually respond. Lowery can offer the “no extra charge for weekends” because they don’t actually show up to do the work on a weekend. I will never call them again.

Like most drain stoppages it seems to always happen on the weekend and because we live in Brownfield we don’t have any weekend or emergency plumbers here. This one happened on Saturday after 5 that evening when we had both bathrooms stopped up and soon the kitchen followed as well. Called because they offer the emergency service and I like the fact no overtime or weekend higher charge. After calling Greg called me back and because of other service calls he would be out the next day. He was and was very polite listening to the concerns we were having with our plumbing system and went to work and got the job done. Even stayed and made sure everything was running like it should. Thanks Greg and thanks Lowery Plumbing for coming to our rescue.

Almost every pipe in my grandmas house needed to be replaced. Zach and Manuel couldn’t have been more amazing at fixing everything! They were very thorough and great at communicating what they were doing and how long it was going to take. She was so thankful for the work they did and couldn’t have been more pleased with the process and outcome. These two are an amazing team and she would definitely recommend them!
Had a water heater that died and still under warranty. The receptionist at Lowerys Plumbing told me it would be covered by a manufacturers warranty but there would be a $69.00 service charge.. Upon arrival of the representative, he stated Lowery would not honor the manufacturer warranty. No service was provided but yet still charged us the $69.00 fee. Never will I do business with them again.
I called Lowry on a Friday afternoon because my a/c was not going below 80. The receptionist gave the tech the wrong number but thankfully he stopped by my home anyway to try and resolve. He looked at the exterior unit and checked voltage and looked at the filter on the interior unit and told me my issue was in sealing the return air at the unit a $300 job. I thought over the weekend and called to schedule it the following week which included me removing my hot water heater so they did not charge me a quoted 400-500 for that task as well to access the needed area. On the day of the service the tech called me after arriving at my home and stated he had changed his mind and now felt it was a bent pipe from the outside unit. I asked for the quote to repair that and was told there wasn’t a repair for that and he would have a manager come out to quote replacing the outside unit. The manager reached out later and gave me a quote for a whole new system topping 10K. Since we went from a $300 job to a 10K job I decided to get a second opinion. The second company came out and opened up both the interior and exterior units checked all pressures and items and discovered the exterior unit was low on Freon and while the exterior coils were clean when they split the coils and looked that they needed to be cleaned. Now a month later and the unit is still running great with no issues.Moral of the story: if you want a fast response I recommend Lowry. But if you want a thorough job call someone else. I can’t believe I almost handed over 10K when it needed $175 worth of work.
Josh & Jack did a great job on replacing some bad pipes we had in ground that was broken with roots inside. They even added an extra cleanout to make it easy for us to keep clean. We have used Lowry Plumbing several times. Always Appreciate their work & their employees. Thanks Again Tammy..

*EDIT: As of June 28th, Chris came out and was finally able to get us flowing again.*We have been working with Lowerys for over a year now. In April of 2022 one of their contactors told us we needed a new backyard plumbing line to solve our current issues. Not only did the job have multiple complications and take over 6 weeks to complete, but we are still having plumbing issues and cannot currently use our kitchen sink or washing machine.Our technician, Albert has been wonderful every time he visits. He has always openly communicated with me and 4/5 times been able to successfully clear a clog. Another technician, Lucas, was very kind and did everything he could to help after knowing we spent so much money with them. However they were unable to fix the current problem.However, after paying over $6,500 for services, we are still unable to successfully use our plumbing system.
The service I received was excellent! The telephone operator was helpful and professional and the plumber arrived at my house way ahead of the estimated time I was given. He was quick to assess the problem, and gave me a fair estimate that he stuck to. He fixed the problem quickly and cleaned up after himself. He also mentioned that they do not charge extra for weekend emergencies. Great service! Lowery has earned my business!
In the future Lowery’s will be my #1 call. They listened to what I said was wrong and actually addressed it directly and didn’t cut a corner, like the company I had called last Thursday. I liked that they knew what they were doing and didn’t hem and haw around, they just took care of it. The total charge was also shockingly less than I had expected, which is a very big plus. My family and I thank you so much for your time and attention on a Sunday evening.

Have an old house with old plumbing. One Friday it finally gives up and stops draining. Mike came out Sunday but could not get things working. He said we would set up a camera inspection- no extra charge. Unfortunately, we ended up needing to re-plumb the house. Steven made a scary, unplanned expense a little more comfortable and acceptable. Scott and Miguel came out the next day and got right to work. They did an excellent job explaining what they were going to be doing and kept me updated throughout the process. They were done and cleaned up in 2 days. Did I want to have to go through this expense at this time? NO. But, since we had to do it, Lowerys did a fantastic job!
I had requested to have our bathtub drain unclogged because the toliet was draining back into the bathtub. The plumber went on the roof and ran the snake and said that he was done after flushing the toliet and turning on the water in the bathtub. The bathtub did not drain at all but I was told that was an extra $39.95 to unclog. I told that was the one I requested to be unclogged but he explained that it the toliet to the bathtub was one job and it would be extra to do that. I told him to forget it and I will never use this Company again. Out of 3 calls, only one they actually did what they said and waited to make sure it done correctly. I will be posting in Facebook, Instagram, etc about my experience with this company. No stars at all for them.
Was very disappointed with all around service. Never met the man .mr. ira that came and did the survey of wht needed to be done never saw him. He never called me on progress. Then plumber they sent broke my gas line and left us without water and gas for 6 days and then he repaired it then he had to do it twice and still leaking ended up having to send a different plumber to fix it correctly and no Mr. Ira or fone call. . That should of never happened. Also got my restroom redone that is why I gave them a 2 they did a decent job there Mr. Javier and his assistant did good on that part. But overall for what we had to pay was to much plus it took almost 3 weeks to complete work. But thank the Lord we r blessed. I just know will never use them again and hope if anyone hires them they do a better job then they did for usGOD BLESS!!
The tech came out looked at the heating unit and told me all that was wrong was it needed I thermostat which I provided. I paid $95 for service call plus $100 for labor. I noticed a few days later that the heating unit didnt seem to be getting hot enough to warm the rooms. I called back and they wanted to charge me another $95 dollars to come back out when they should have checked this before leaving. I already paid them to fix it but they didnt fix it and still want to charge me a second time. Thats whats wrong with companies like this...double charging.
Its disappointing after having such a great experience when I had an AC and Furnace replaced in my eldely aunts home to what we have experienced with our most recent plumbing needs. Communication is extremely lax and there is little sense of ownership, pride and urgency to course correct. I have, on several occasions, had to call to get updates. We are on day 10 of a project that was supposed to be a day or two and still NOT done. Yet their plumbers updated the status as complete. The interactions have been emotionally draining and I feel they have taken advantage of a poor old woman, my aunt, in her mid 80s. A toilet was left unconnected and unusable a huge pile of dirt left where they dug and who knows what else isnt done to the level I had expected for a professional. This brings into question the breaking of slab to, what the called, pin point the leak. Several days later and several digs later they finally found it, but Im concerned if we got this kind of treatment, what kind of quality in their work should I expect. So if your on the fence, or reading reviews to decide I recommend, move on. They arent the same. When I called to speak to a supervisor who actually can help to gain resolution, I was told a ticket would be put in and the people reviewing tickets wouldnt see it for a couple of weeks. I literally had no words! So I guess I have no immediate recourse to get the project completed. Shame on guys, Lowey Plumbing.
Larry was so great! He went out of his way to make sure our sewer issue was resolved quickly. He was kind and professional, and took time to answer my questions. I have waited a year to leave this review, but when we discovered yet another issue related to the total re-plumb of our house, I felt a review was warranted. We hired Lowery to do a complete re-plumb of one of our investment properties in October of 2021. Since then, We have had to call them back out no less than 8 times to warranty poor workmanship. Rough-in plumbing was improperly installed or placed (3 times), a newly installed vent stack was not waterproofed on the roof and led to major flooding and water damage after a rain storm (it took 6 calls and two months to get them to address the issue and I water-proofed the vent stack myself), a drain line in the wall became disconnected and leaked inside the wall, and today, we discovered the drain under the tub is dumping water onto the dirt under the house into the crawl space. We will not be calling them out to warranty this work any longer, as I have ZERO confidence in their work. We will be paying out of pocket to have another company come fix Lowery’s issue. We are still paying on the $20,000 we paid them for this work and I could not be more heartsick about it. Don’t hire this company under any circumstances.

We just purchased a home where Lowery installed all new HVAC and hot water heaters. They contacted us to come perform the free maintenance and we didn’t even know we had this option. Then, Justin did an amazing job installing a bigger hot water heater for us! He was professional, quick, on time and patient with all of my questions! I highly recommend this company!
My husband called Lowery on Saturday when we found out we had a water leak. The tech came out looked at the job and said he would try to get to it that day (which we were very surprised by) because he said it would be a couple hour job. He did tell us since it was the weekend it may be Monday and we completely understood. Monday no one showed so we called, and they informed us that the tech had misspoke and they had us down for Tuesday. Tuesday morning my husband called to confirm, and they informed us we would be taken care of Tuesday afternoon. Today no one showed so I called, and she informed me we were on the books for Wednesday, I explained we confirm the morning, and it was supposed to be today. She then informed me that it wasnt grantee that we would receive help Wednesday either because it was such a big job. At this point I am beyond frustrated that I keep getting the run around. I told her I would not give my money to a company who isnt true to their word or shows up when I was told they would be there.I am in the industry for referrals in this line of business so I like trying new vendors to add to my list, but this will not be one of them. Terrible company.
Reached out to Lowerys about broken AC after my warranty company told me they wouldn’t be able to come for a whole week. (It was 90 degrees In my house). Lowerys was able to send someone the next morning!! Justin got it fixed so quickly. He was efficient, kind, on time, & professional. So very thankful & will be using this company again!
Our 20 year old unit kept freezing up and needed repair. After consulting with the service tech we decided that it was time for a new system. Sales rep came out to our house while the service tech fixed our existing system to get us by until the new one could be installed. I had already gotten a quote from another company to replace everything and Lowerys beat their price and gave us better equipment. The installation guys were able to come the very next day and were very professional and hard working. This was a great experience and excellent customer service. Other companies said it would take a week to even service our old system, but Lowerys had our old system repaired to get us by and the entire new system installed in less than 24 hours.
We called Lowerys because our builder told us they were affordable and awesome. Within an hr they were at our house fixing the AC. They were quick and extremely knowledgeable. Our technician Phillip was just phenomenal. Such a nice guy. Seeing as this was the 3rd company to come take a look and the only one we liked and actually knew what he was doing Id recommend them without a doubt!

I am very pleased with the work Lowery Plumbing did for me. After having a ton of trouble with a drain, Lowery came out the same day and unclogged a tub within a few minutes. Very professional and friendly service. Definitely recommending there services to my friends and family.
Lowery did a trenchless repair of a drain line in our house and did a good job. Then the next week our kitchen sink stopped draining and the drain line on our washing machine came apart. We called them out again. They ran the camera and gave us an estimate to redo all of the kitchen and laundry plumbing for more than $23,000. We said no, we couldnt afford that (we had spent $18,000 with them the week before) and please just get the line unclogged and fix the laundry drain. We had to wait until the next day for them to come and do the work. The technicians were rude and didnt even bother to repair the laundry drain like we asked. they said we could call back again. It took two days to get a simple repair done and then when we wouldnt spend $40,000 in two weeks with them they got snippy. We will NOT be using them again.

Phillip came by to clear a clog and to run a camera through my drain to check for issues. He did a great job of explaining what he found and recommendations for what should/could be done but was not pushy at all. Never tried to sell me which I appreciate. Had a clog on a Sunday afternoon and Lowery was the only plumbing company that we called to return our call.

Do not call them for air conditioning repair. I wasted my money and they didn’t do anything. We sat here all weekend with no air conditioner called my regular guy and he got it fixed within 30 minutes. All it was was a loose wire and control board They wanted to charge me and arm and a leg to clean it or replace it. Do not use this company.
Freddie was very professional & personable. He was very knowledgeable about the issues my HVAC was having & did a great job explaining everything when diagnosing the problem. Parts had to be ordered so I was thankful it was him that was on rotation and came to install them. Excellent service!
Had a cold water repair that needed to be done, a piece of 3/8 pipe needed to be replaced, the technician kept exclaiming like it was the end of the world and said hed have to repipe the whole area. Got someone local to look at it he fixed it...with some ingenuity and sautering which...obviously is all it would need...they wasted my time patience and 115 of my dollars
I paid $344 for them to fix my Ac with the wrong part. They were supposed to come and fix it with the correct part but did not. When I got someone to come out to replace the wrong part with the correct one, he tried to charge ma another service charge. When I confronted him, he yelled and cussed at me. My Wife is afraid he is going to come back and shoot us. My neighbors had to come out to help me because he was yelling at me. He was sick of dealing with my people... we are both white! this was horrible and and my AC is still not fixed.
Roger and JJ came out to install a new heating and air unit and worked impressively. The were punctual, cleaned up after themselves and were friendly.I called for a free estimate on Monday and had my unit installed the next morning. Finance options are flexible and even though I didnt feel I could afford a new unit at this time they went out of their way to provide an option that was the best for me.Calling Lowerys was the best decision I could have made! Thank you guys!

AC went out on a hot, summer, Sunday . We called Lowery and they came out within an hour, replaced the furnace in the attic and did an excellent job. We’ve had no problems at all since it was completed. The men were efficient, mannerly, and explained everything they were doing. They had to remove the wood around the attic opening because the furnace could not fit through it . They replaced the wood, painted it to match the already existing trim and cleaned up after the job. They also hauled away the old furnace . We’ve used this company for cleaning and checking our AC and heating for about 13 years and would never think of calling anyone else. They check our filters and replace them with new ones, check the indoor and outdoor units and clean them semi annually. The office calls us to schedule these visits in case we forget that it’s time to do it. We appreciate their personal interest . Mr. Lowery has a fine business and good employees.
Had ac issues on a Sun. Called at 8 am and Lowery’s technician, Patrick Castro, communicated via phone when heading to our residence and was here by 10. Patrick was extremely knowledgeable on our unit and had the issue resolved in about 15 min. Patrick was very thorough in explaining the issue and possible cause. For Sun call the repairs were extremely affordable. Great job Lowery!!!!

We just recently used Lowery for our home in Wilson. The customer service was outstanding. Jeff, the service guy that came to our home, was knowledgeable and very experienced. He was also ON TIME. We have TWO water heaters and we have the AC unit and the heater. Jeff talked to us about a service plan that would save us money on having them serviced every year. I would recommend Lowery to anyone that asked me. My husbands son just bought a house, and we have already recommended this option to him as a money saving benefit. The service plan alone will save us a lot of money every year, and it will give the peace of mind knowing that everything is in good working order before needing to use it for that season. Way to go Lowery. Job well done, both in the office (Kirstin and Rhonda) for the initial interaction, and for the in home service (Jeff) as well. We will continue to recommend Lowery.
Technician was very helpful, nice, and not only got our drain flowing, he offered and setup free services to see if there was more to the issue based on his findings. Price was much less than I have paid before. He was on time and very easy to work with. Will definitely use Lowerys services again.

Larry came out and was very professional came in handled my clogged toilet quickly and also looked at other drains to make sure everything was working correctly, they were in and out in about 1 hour which was quick. He gave me the information I needed to possibly fix bigger plumbing issues in the future and was very professional and also friendly. I will defiinitely recommend them and use them for all my plumbing needs.
I would like to say first of all I don’t see how this company doesn’t have 6 stars. The gentleman Justin came out to our house and diagnosed the issue we were having, in a very professional and knowledgeable way. In our opinion your company sent the best out to tell us what we needed to do and what we needed to help out our system and prepare for future things that may need to be done. And the ONLY company we would ever call for any future work is this one. I wish their was more I could say to praise the technician and the company, but just give them a call is all I can say and you will not regret it. It’s hard to find a company who actually sticks by what they say and do. But this one does.
I am sad I am having to post this review after seeing such great reviews. To begin with, I contacted Lowery plumbing as they offered 24/7 service, holidays and weekends. I called at 9pm on Labor Day and was able to speak with a dispatcher. She informed me that a service technician would give me a call. About 20 minutes later a gentleman did give me a call although the conversation I had with him was not professional at all. I could tell by his voice that he was either intoxicated or on some type of drug. With it being Labor Day I kind of figured he had been partying as you could hear a lot of commotion in the background. He mentioned that I would be contacted about 8am the next morning (Tuesday). That kind of defeated the purpose of a 24/7 company right? After 9am the next day, I had to reach out to see if I was going to have a tech come out. Still no response. At 10am or so I get a call from a lady at Lowery asking if I still needed a tech. I answered yes and she immediately asked for credit/debit card information to store for payment even though a tech had not even been to my house. I was promised that a tech would be sent to my house no later than morning time. I am writing this review at 12 noon. Very disappointed. I am pleased to say I called Rowe Plumbing and they were very professional and a tech has been scheduled for 4pm. Please avoid stress in your already stressful plumbing/HVAC problems.
Terrible company. We had $12,000 worth of work done in 2017. Afterwards, we still had issues. Then in 2019, we had more issues in the hall that they apparently never covered so we ended up giving them the benefit of the doubt and payed another $7,000. Here we are and I am 5 months past their guarantee and the SAME EXACT problem is happening. I called and the lady was super rude and said well theres nothing we can do. I can have someone come out for $60 and you can pay any parts and labor. SERIOUSLY?! This is unacceptable. I understand I am a little outside my warranty, but you could at least have some integrity and send someone to see if it is the same issue. I will be fining an attorney because this is beyond upsetting. And I would not recommend this company. They are the highest priced in town (which is actually why we chose them because we thought we were paying for quality but we absolutely got the worst quality).
Thanks for the tip on your website about unblocking the tub stopper via the overflow valve. Yours was the only site. I could find any information about a stuck stopper. Wish you were closer. I would definitely call you.
They were very fast to send someone out. The plumber was very nice and figured out my plumbing problem quickly. They have good equipment and were able to use their camera system to see what was causing my drain issue. Highly recommended!
During construction project leak from kitchen sink and master bedroom toilet found . Needed to have fixed before project could continue. Our regular plumber was unable to come out. Called Lowery.Miguel came out to our ranch in Garza County. Charge $75.Diagnosed problem and said repair would be done 2 days later. A few days later two plumbers came out and spent 75 minutes at house and replaced 10 ft pipe. Charge $700 ...no itemized statement. When our contractor came out to finish up project,he (Greg Carson - Carson Construction.Post,Tex) said repairs had not been completed. He got down and dirty and fixed problem in 35 minutes...No Charge! When questioned bill to Lowery about exorbitant charge and that work not done,Mike said,”You’re not making any sense!”
Nothing like having an AC go out in the Texas heat on a weekend but Manny identified the issue and was able to temporarily fix the unit while needing to order parts. He communicated with me everything he was doing as well as arrival times. He was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. The staff was so helpful as well and answered all my many questions. Thank you all for your role you each played as it was much appreciated.
Absolutely overpriced for any job. Rep quoted me a gas line for nearly 9k, I was able to get it done with a local company for half that. From what I evaluated they are lazy workers and horrible salesmen.
Justin was easy to talk to, polite, careful, neat. It was a real pleasure having him on the job of removing, cleaning and replacing the blower cylinder in my mini split unit, It was so filthy that it was blowing out bits of black filth, Thank you Justin.
Very Overpriced! Even though, they claimed they did not charge the overtime fee. This is the reason I called them during the weekend. Their normal charge is VERY HIGH!One of the technicians came by Sunday noon and diagnose the sometimes did not run issue. They charged $345.5 ($49.5 service call + ~ $296 parts and labor) for replacing a $20 capacitor in 5 minutes. (I still did not have a receipt for this work after making the payment with a check.) The technician just installed it and told me the cost. I used to think the capacitor was expensive and did not realize it until one of my friends told me he spent
Called at 7:30pm for a service call, call center followed up asking if they called. I told them no they said they would try him again. Called at 10:30pm again no call. Call center followed up about 20 minutes later i told them nobody had called. It’s now 11:42pm and still have no gotten a call! If you need after hours service do not use this company!

When our bathroom drains clogged over the weekend and we had guests, they came within an hour and unclogged the drains and had everything working perfectly! Lowery plumbing was affordable and so easy to deal with. We will definitely be using them from now on!

Scam artists. Mid-afternoon they said it was my capacitor (on ac) and replaced ti. Said it was fixed but to wait 4 hours for cool air... 3 hours later I called them back and was told the person was an hour away and had 3 hours of calls ahead of us. When he arrived he said it needed a motor which would be $700, but there was no point in repairing it because the whole unit (5 years old) was messed up and we needed to spend $7,500-$10,000 on a new unit.At this point it was almost 10, we got a hotel room and I was suffering from early heat stroke. I get online and ask my neighbours (Nextdoor app) about the company and around 15 people responded saying that Lowery tried to force them to buy new units too.The next day we called out Duncan who replaced the motor, said the unit was fine, charged us $400 including the call out fee.Lowery seems set on nothing but replacing every unit they get their hands on. A $400 fee cost me $234 (capacitor which Im sure would have been cheaper elsewhere) and $200 for hotel, almost $900.I am debating going after them to pay my hotel fees.
**$PLEASE READ BEFORE USING!!***This company is running scams on their clientele.We had a clogged kitchen drain line in November of 2017. Upon not being able to fix it myself I called around to get quotes Lowerys was running a special for 49.99 great! They came out snaked the line and got it fixed and even offered a free camera service to find any other potential issues. This is where the problem started after doing the camera the representative stated that we had several issues that needed to be addressed the most urgent being a crack on our main line leading from the west side of the house. But refused to tell us any additional quotes our pricing gave us very little information about what was wrong. He stated that he would have another representative come out and give us a quote. The representative came on a Saturday and sat down with us initially the representative had no idea what the problems or issues were and asked a lot of questions about what we knew of the problem ( hint #1 that this was fishy) after explaining that we were just as much in the dark as he was. He went out to his car to talk to the technician and go over the notes. The entire time he was in our house he kept talking about my cars and how nice our home was he asked me about my work and what I did for a living. He then came back in our home after filling out his quote and laid about 5 different problems that the other representative didnt even mention. For just doing a sleeve on the crack for the mainline he quoted us at $7,000!!! To do all the work that he said needed to be done was going to cost us nearly $13,000.After speaking with him I knew that something was up so I got a second opinion. Turns out there was actually no problem on our lines in our house at all. The Other Plumber stated that there was a crack but it was in the ally and was the citys responsibility to fix. He then proceeded to tell us that even if it was in the house doing a sleeve on a line like that would only cost at most $2,500. Were now out $130 for the second opinion. Honestly without my sales experience and knowing when someone is trying to pull one over on me I wouldnt have known that these guys were selling snake oil.
I called Saturday morning expecting the worst on 107 degree day and Michael called me within an hour and showed up within 3 and took care of it got the ac unit fixed. I wont use another hvac company as long as I live in Lubbock. Michael was great and thank you Lowery for getting us up and going as quickly as you did.
My husband and I found ourselves with a messed up heater motor the first coldest day of the year. Lowery responded to the maintenance call fast and Patrick was amazing and fast with his diagnosis. We figured it would still take a few days to fix but he got Jim to come by (even tho he was super busy and was working late to help everyone) and talk to us about our options. He sat with us let us make our decision and interacted with my 4 year old with the biggest smile on his face. We have used Lowery a few times in the past and each time it has been great and continues to get better! Everyone I have talked to has been super friendly and helpful! We will forever use Lowery!

Patrick came out and serviced our AC & H2O Heaters. He was professional in appearance & manner, was cordial the entire time he was here, and above all...fixed our AC so we werent suffering any longer in the July heat! His work convinced me to purchase their Preferred Customer Service Agreement for another year...knowing our units will be taken care of by someone who cares what they do & how they do it. Thanks for showing great customer service...it is rare to find any more!
First and foremost, we now have air conditioning. I contacted you on Tuesday morning, someone came out to assess the problem within a couple of hours. Unfortunately for us, it was time to replace the entire system, but we anticipated that this was coming sometime soon,(15 years old). Jim came out quickly to give us a price quote. He gave us several options and let us make the choice that best fit our needs. We chose, and Johnny and ? came out early on Wednesday morning, and got everything installed and working by mid afternoon. Great service, efficient, and we were only without A/C for 24 hours or less. I hate the price of having to replace the system, but everything you have done is great.Thanks!
Chris & Miguel were great today when replacing our water faucets! Very professional, kind and efficient. We had to replace our water heater several months ago and had Chris then, too. He is excellent and we will ask for him in the future when we use Lowery.
Today is Christmas. Last night we had to spend the night in a hotel because all of our plumbing was clogged. No toilets. No showers. Initially we were being told IF we could get someone to come out it would be over $300 for holiday pay and that it would likely not be until the 26th. I called Lowery and Blake was AWESOME. So nice! Very prompt and he came to our rescue on Christmas and the best part is my cost was the same today as any other day. Thank you Lowery for not capitalizing on our crisis and for happily coming to our aid. Blake never complained or even hinted it was a burden for him even though Im sure he was missing some quality time with his family. I will never use another company after today!!
We have always done all our business with Lowrey Plumbing. They are so professional and courteous. Today July 2nd with the temperature outside at 96 degrees, my air conditioner stopped working and I had just a few days left on my warranty. I called the office and the sweet lady that answered the phone was so helpful to get someone out to look at it as quickly as possible. Phillip was the Technician that saved the day. He was here within 45 minutes of my call and he went above and beyond to get it fixed so that we didn’t have to go through the Holiday weekend without an air conditioner. So my 3 year old decided to throw something in my toilet and not say anything after 3 days trying to get it out I finally called Lowery. And Im so glad I did, he was amazing and got it out in seconds. Will definitely be recommending this company to others!! Oh and very very affordable!!!

I set up an appointment 3 days in advance so I could make sure I could get off work early. They took my credit card info saying that would secure my appointment. On the day of the appointment, I called at 5 bc they had not arrived. The lady informed me they were on another job but I was on the schedule. At 7:45, I called again and was told he must be on another job but she would have him call me. 20min later she called to see if he had been in touch with me but he hadn’t. He never called nor showed up. The next day I called them to see what happened. She said he worked too late and since I had a later appointment they couldn’t get to me. She could not tell me why I was never notified. They also were not willing to work with my schedule since I had already taken off work the day before.
I have the maintenance program for the AC system so I’ve had several different techs come to service it. They have all been polite and respectful. Not just to me but to my home as well. They’ve always done a great job at keeping their work area tidy and usually leave it cleaner than it was before they came. I highly recommend Lowery Plumbing!
I called Lowery around 8:30 pm last night (on Memorial Day weekend) thinking I would have to wait til Monday or Tuesday to have someone come out to fix the upstairs AC where my son sleeps. However, they came within 30 minutes of my phone call and had it fixed in less than an hour! I am one happy customer and mama! :) highly recommend them!
We noticed a water leak late last Friday evening and called our normal plumber who couldn’t help. Called Lowery Plumbing and they sent someone within a few hours.Long story short we had problems after problems and each day seemed to confuse all of us.Manuel Castillo was here each day and called to let us know he was on his way and kept us updated.I highly recommend Lowery Plumbing should you have a problem. I had them come out and fix my AC last summer. The guy came out fixed it and 34 days later the it broke down again. He didnt want me out there while he worked didnt really answer my questions and told me it was only guaranteed for 30 days. Lo and behold 34 days later it broke down again, called them again and this time I got a different tech. He was much better and explained what had happened. Later while speaking with someone who knew AC repair, they told me the first guy should have caught the issue that broke it the second time when he fixed it the first time. It was something that he knew would create more business for them. I would have given them only 1 star but as the second tech was so much nicer and didnt charge me I gave the company 2 stars. Will not be calling them again.
