As I was trying to wash my dishes, I realized that my hot water was not working. My dad who is a master plumber on the other side of Texas helped me to realize that my water heater was no longer working, and I needed to get it swapped out as it was still under warranty (thankfully). I reached out to several plumbing companies to try and get scheduled date of and Jay Young Plumbing offered the best pricing for a swap, and on top of that they were able to squeeze me in same day. If it wasn’t for their help my kids and I would have been taking cold showers. I highly recommend them. Great pricing, up front and honest. Thank you Jay Young plumbing!

I called Jay Young today to unstop my bathroom toilet. I was really happy with the services. Dalton was the service man and he was awesome. He was very friendly and respectful. This is the second time Ive used Jay Young Plumbing and I couldnt be happier. After looking up estimates to have my water heater replaced I was quite surprised that JY replaced mine for considerably less money than I had expected.My wife and I have nothing but good positive things to say and we whole heatedly recommend them!

We called them Monday morning to clear a clogged drain. They were here by 11:15 and done by 12:15. Service was courteous and the job was well done. This is the third time we have used them.

Tyson showed up four hours earlier than scheduled and was finished by noon. He diagnosed the drain problem, figured out the parts needed, and then did a masterly job putting things together. Of all my home repair issues, plumbing is the least of my concerns, with Travis, Brandon, and Dalton solving every problem. Thanks again!

Our water heater was leaking. John came out on Saturday and looked at it and said we needed a new one and luckily it was still under warranty. The following Monday morning he replaced it with new pan and connections. Excellent job and excellent service. Thank You.****** Here I am, 5 years later and Jay Young Plumbing is still my Go To company for all I have needed over these years. From unclogging my sons bathroom sink, to replacing my garbage disposal and regular maintenance on our AC unit.

Jay young plumbing and HAVAC has become our go to plumbing and AC company. We had severe sewer damage from tree roots. Jay, John and their team brought us up to full function again. They kept us informed, were very fair priced and their plumbers were very polite. They did a total makeover on our AC unit, now it runs as it was designed to do. Frankly, there is no reason to call another company.

At the recommendation of at friend, we used Jay Young Plumbing when we had new floors put down. Brandon was here multiple times during the week. He was very good.Had sink backing up this weekend so called to have Brandon come out. He did a great job. Amber is always so nice and gets me scheduled ASAP. Thanks for jobs well done!

Jay Young was able to take care of my plumbing issue while I was at work and called me to get my payment information. It was nice not having to leave work to take care of business at home.

My air conditioner went out during the summer, when it was 100+ degrees outside. I called Jay Young and they sent a technician out that day. Raymond C came out and did a great job! He was so thorough and explained everything he was doing. He was very professional, quick and efficient. Definitely call Jay Young for all of your HVAC needs.

First off I have always used Jay Young as they were always great on my heat and a/c needs however used last 2 times for plumbing and has been a horrible experience First time I thought went great but after overcharged me I was still happy because thought problem was fixed however 3 weeks later same exact issue happened again and they dont warranty any plumbing so charged me a 2nd time and almost double the cost this time around also plumber left everything a mess and I cleaned up so I didnt get charged another 1/2 hour for that than I go outside he dripped dirty sewer water down entire entry way and driveway and left it that way for us to have to clean that up aswell I will be using someone else from now on. As for the ownwes reply of nothing but excuses and acting like he was here or has ever spoken with me what a joke you sir are not professional and saying i leave bad reviews lol I leave tons of 5 star reviews too businesses who deserve it Hints why Im a local guide. Next time be professional and call the customer and get the facts and work out a solution also please dont lie your guy never pulled out any wipes he never found anything what a LIE and yes I was cleaning it up after he clearly said he would charge another 1/2 hour and the jersey left standing water on my floor because he said his shop Vac was broke and being serviced .

Called at 4:20, Dalton was here by around 5, we decided I needed new faucets so I went and got those and told him I would like for them to be able to come back the next day after lunch. They were very accommodating and Dalton was back by 1 and got my new faucets put on. Very pleased with the work.

They arrived quickly and diagnosed the problem and made repairs in a timely manner. Terry and Kirby did a fantastic job. Our down time was kept to a minimun

We have had someone out to unstop a toilet and he did a great job! He was able to get to us in a timely manner, was polite, helpful, explained problem and took care of it right away.During some remodeling, we were told we needed to have the old water softener pipes cut and tied off, when I called, Rosie was able to get us help right away. The service guys were excellent, did a great job and had everything taken care of in a short time.We have been VERY PLEASED with Jay Young Plumbing and would definitely recommend their services!

Called in the morning and the office was super helpful to schedule me before the end of the day. John stopped by in the afternoon and fixed our water heater. His work was spot on, clean, and professional. He made sure the house was in good shape before he completed the service call. I hired Jay Young Plumbing to connect my new fridge to an existing water line. When the service technicians arrived they said it was such an easy job and were embarrassed to charge the flat service fee of $95. It took them less than 10 minutes to connect the water line to the fridge. I paid cash and kept my receipt that reflected checked for leaks. The next day the bedroom behind my kitchen wall was FLOODED with water from the leaking water line connection. I immediately called Jay Young Plumbing. The same service technician arrived and apologized for the leak and the damage it had caused. I cleaned up the mess while the technician worked on correcting their mistake. I had a flight to catch so the technician stopped the leak and instructed me to call upon my return to fix the problem. After returning, I contacted Jay Young Plumbing and they sent out a different technician who ended up running the line from my water heater via the attic to the fridge (something I was unaware that was possible). Upon his completion he handed me second invoice for $375. I informed the technician of the situation so he directly called Jay Young (owner) on speaker phone. Jay Young was extremely rude to the technician (his employee) and hung up on him. The technician asked me to sign the invoice agreeing to pay the additional $375 ( I did not). Instead I called the office directly and asked to speak to Jay Young. I attempted to give him the details of my situation, in a rude and aggressive tone Jay Young said he didnt care and hung up on me. I called the office a second time and spoke with Jay Youngs wife. She informed me that her husband was having a bad day and apologized for his behavior. I later received a past due invoice in the mail. I attempted to reach out again with no solution as it was my fault that my house was old. A year later I became aware of the fact that Jay Young placed a mechanics lien on my home for $375. The title company said they had never seen a lien for such a small amount. Long story short....DO NOT contract Jay Young. Not only did they not complete such an easy job correctly, they are downright rude and unprofessional.

Even a slab leak. When you own a home, its always something! They have always been prompt, courteous and capable. And their prices are reasonable. Jay Young Plumbing is professional, on time and honest. They are respectful and do not try to upset you on unnecessary repairs. I called Jay Young for a second opinion when another company said I needed thousands in repairs when I had called for a simple clog.. The plumber arrived on time and unclogged our line in less than 30 minutes. I asked him to scope the line to make sure everything was working in order. He agreed to do it although he thought it was unnecessary as the line was running well. He scoped every inch of the lines and ensured we would be running well for years before any more repairs would be needed. I am so grateful to Jay Young Plumbing for preventing me from becoming the victim of a scam artist.

I’ve had my share of bad experiences w service and repair companies. This company, Jay Young, is the company you -want- to call. We have had to call them for several issues with our plumbing and ac unit over the past several years and they have been nothing but professional, courteous, and efficient. We had what we thought was a simple water slab leak, which turned into three weeks of sewer line, ac return duct and water repair. They guys were AMAZING!! They got us fixed up, fixed problems we didnt know we had, were cleaned up everyday and took great care to keep things clean. Everything is great now. The nicest service people Ive had. If I could give them more that 5 starts I would!

Its Texas... Its July... Its HOT! I came home at around 5:15 pm and noticed my air conditioner was no longer blowing cool air. It was 89 degrees in the house!!! I assumed that because of how busy AC folks are that I would at best have to endure the heat for at least the night if they could get me in and scheduled. I called and was told Id get a call back which I did at aprox 5:45. The technicians said they were on their way from a job out of town and would be there at around 7. Low and behold they were there and exceedingly kind and professional. They quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed my unit. I appreciated the quick and professional service provided and would recommend them to anyone!

Terrible communication and do NOT recommendOn April 28th we had them at a rental property to check drains, HVAC unit, and water heater before new tenants moved in. They missed a drain so had to come back which resulted in us being charged a second time for a technician to go out to the house. Then there is the HVAC system....on April 28th we were told that the unit was good to go and the pressure test was good. On May 10th we had the line from the exterior unit to the interior unit completely frozen and melting into our attic. When the owner came to look at the unit the following day they asked my husband to come to the house to discuss the multiple problems with the unit. We went from “good to go” to multiple problems with the unit in a matter of less than 2 weeks. The owner of the company admitted that the technician that serviced our HCVAC system LACKED the knowledge to notice the multiple problems with the unit yet we were charged for this service. Again, we went from being told on the 28th that our unit was “good to go” to the entire unit being completely replaced on May 12th with new tenants moving in on May 15th. Instead of having 2 weeks to fix the problem we now have 2 days. When we are told that Jay Young himself would call by 10 am with a quote this did not happen instead the front desk called at 10:40 am and we never heard back from Jay Young. Once we had the quote sent to us we had questions and never received a return phone call from Jay Young to answer these questions. Since we still have NOT heard back from Jay Young we went with another company to replace our unit. This has put us in a terrible spot with new renters which has not made a good first impression on us.Needless to say the technicians do not call you directly, the tech calls the front desk who then calls you which inevitably results in poor communication by the time the information gets around to the customer. Then if you have problems or questions you call the front desk who then has to call and explain things to the technician which again leads to something not being fully communicated correctly. Basically a bad case of the game Telephone from childhood except this is real life when it matters.

John has repaired plumbing problems for me in the past. He is hard working and does a great job! The office lady was very nice and rescheduled my repair for me due to a conflict I had forgotten about. Great company.

We were getting bids for a new unit- thank goodness we found the most honest company! They were not the cheapest nor the highest! Not only did they assure us that we were talking to the right COMPANY. They proved it as well!
