This marks my second engagement with Absolute Refrigeration Air Conditioning and Heating. Consistently, they have delivered exceptional service. Their warranty coverage is commendable. Alexis has consistently provided invaluable assistance whenever Ive sought clarification or required documentation via email. The technicians and sales personnel have consistently exhibited professionalism, courtesy, and flexibility regarding scheduling, delivering exemplary results. I wholeheartedly endorse their services.

Had my first service call after 18 months of my new unit installment and the 2 Technicians who show were on time and well educated on the ins and out of my unit. After minor communication issues, Joe evaluated my exsisting HVAC set up to determine what was needed in order to replace my whole system. He was extremely professional, courteous, knowledgeable and apologized for the communication issues. The very next morning, the installation team (Juan and Juan) arrived to replace my old and worn-out system. These two technicians were also very professional, skilled, personable, and respectful of my property (they even wore shoe covers in the house). Throughout the day, whenever I peeked in on progress, they would pause and answer every question I had, and gave me advices and troubleshooting tips. While installing the furnace in the attic, they went above and beyond by adding a drip pan under the unit, and secured the electrical outlet to the framing (which had been simply dangling in mid air). Now all the lines, cords, and pvc drains are neatly and strategically positioned around the furnace, which pleases my OCD tendencies!!! They cleaned up then showed me how to operate the thermostat. I couldnt be more satisfied with the outcomes or Absolute Refrigeration!

The service of Absolute AC is outstanding! from the time I called to thankfully find out my warranty was still valid. It was 48 hours until my air conditioner was fixed. In a day when it is so hard to be treated with respect, I received remarkable courtesy from the lady that answered the phone to the fine gentleman who came and fix my air conditioner. The courtesy call letting me know they were going to arrive came at 8:43 AM and by 920 my air conditioner was fixed and running well, thank you Absolute! You are absolutely the best!

Our A/C went out 6/21/2023. I put in a service request with our home warranty company that day. It took a few days for Absolute Refrigeration to come out (I dont remember how many as I hadnt started taking notes just yet), but they did come & tell us we needed a new fan motor. On 7/14/2023 I called & spoke with Cambree (sp?) who sd parts are not it. I called warranty co. who said A/C co. was who orders parts (makes sense to me). On 7/17/2023 I called Absolute Refrigeration for an update & spoke with Dee. She sd they were still waiting on part. She called me back that afternoon & sd part would be in on 7/17/2023. On 7/19/2023 spoke to Alexis who sd she is going to check to see if part is on truck as it is here right now (not sure who she is). I was told part was on truck & would be installed on 7/20/2023. Techs did come on 7/20/2023 but were unable to install part as the wires to the old part would not work & a harness needs to ordered (are you kidding me? Why was that not ordered when fan motor was? We are now TWENTY-NINE days without A/C!). We FINALLY got A/C running on 7/25/2023 BUT the tech left the fuse on top of the fuse box. When I called him, he said ...all you have to do is put it in that slot. He did offer to come back, but by this time I was so mad I told him not to bother. I DO NOT recommend Absolute Refrigeration!!!!!!!

We recently called upon Absolute Refrigeration, Air Conditioning & Heating to address a persistent issue with our office air conditioning system, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. We were blessed to work with Alexis, Dena and Cambree in a difficult situation. Our renters were without AC ( 2 months total) and we were working with our warranty company to get it resolved. We ran into one wall after another and it wasnt until Alexis promised to get the problem resolved, that we saw results. Alexis, Dena and Cambree worked tirelessly to figure out what the delay was from and how to get it fixed ASAP!! I was told by Alexis that she would figure it out and then they did!!!!! Just wanted to share how impressed my husband and I are with Absolute Refrigeration A/C and Heating and their Technicians, NATHAN and MANNY. We had been struggling with another A/C company for over three weeks to get our A/C fixed. With 3 visits and waiting on parts, only to continue to have exactly the same problem, we finally contacted Absolute Refrigeration. They set up a tech visit for the next day, called 30 minutes before showing up and had the problem diagnosed within 10 minutes (no joke - 10 minutes). The first company NEVER even looked at the outside unit, but just replaced two parts (one of which didnt even need replacing). Turns out it was a 15 minute fix. Nathan picked up the needed part this morning. Again, they called 30 minutes before showing up and had the A/C running within 15 minutes. Nathan and Manny are knowledgeable, efficient, friendly yet professional and respectful of our time. We HIGHLY recommend them and their company if you need HVAC repairs.

I was impressed with the people that I dealt with. During the initial meeting when the issue was diagnosed, I was given options and not ultimatums or scare tactics. The gentleman sold the benefits of a new unit. The two gentlemen that installed the units were very professional and efficient. They gave an estimate of the time it would take for the installation and beat the estimate. After a year of frustration and deferring to our attorney, I will outline our experience as a forewarning to anyone considering Absolute Refrigeration (AR). Fortunately for you, AR did not ask for a non-disclosure agreement as part of our settlement.In the spring of 2023, we purchased a new AC for our home. The owner, Joe, was confident from the start–assuring, even emphasizing, that he was an ethical professional that would do the job right.First issue: on the day of our install, the technicians went to our neighbor’s house across the street. Not knowing if he was also getting HVAC service, we watched as they disassembled his unit. Sensing there was an issue, we called Joe and learned that they were at the wrong house. Joe apologized and assured us that he would contact our neighbor to make it right because “That’s the kind of company we are.” We later learned that Joe never contacted him. Our neighbor was trying to figure out why his unit was suddenly having issues. We put him in contact with our attorney. Joe told us that if they damaged his unit, they would replace it. We’ll see.Second issue: after our installation, we noticed weak performance. It is a 5-ton, seer 20 unit, the largest and most “futuristic” model they provide. There is no reason why this unit should not maintain our set temperature of 70 degrees. In fact, the temperature regularly rose to 76 degrees. Being a seer 20, it is also supposed to be efficient, but our bill tripled. Joe and his technicians came to our house multiple times to take a look. Each time, they were long winded to explain that this new and innovative unit “takes about a year to calibrate” before we will see any results. Their only option was to set the thermostat to “permanent hold.” We asked Joe to return the unit; we wanted out and asked him to come pick it up, but he never gave us a direct response.Third issue: once we pressured Joe with legal action, he proposed installing a secondary unit for free. He came to discuss where he could position the unit and make sure we approved its placement outside. The issue was that he presented this new installation as a singular, second unit. But the technicians began cutting our walls to install a “mini-split” in two of our rooms. If you are not aware, these are wall units that you would typically find in a cheap motel room. They are an eyesore fixed to the inside wall. When we asked him about this, he said “I thought you would have googled it”; foolishly, we listened to him rather than self-educate with Google. This was entirely deceptive of Joe; he presented his solution as adding a singular, additional unit that would tap into our existing ductwork, but this was a cheap solution that also involved permanently closing off the ductwork to those two rooms, and cutting into our exterior brick wall and roof overhang.This is when we deferred to our attorney. I had another HVAC company diagnose the issue and provide an estimate for the necessary changes to our ductwork and the pipe connections (I do not know the technical jargon). Interestingly, Joe criticized the previous work that had been done on our old unit and the ductwork in the attic. He noted that people didn’t know what they were doing, made short-term fixes, and that he was going to remove all of that and redo it the right way. He stated afterwards that he did, in fact, make these corrections. But as it turned out, he left everything as it was in the attic rather than securing connections properly. We also learned that the flue vent in our attic was improperly installed and failed fire code regulations.To Joe’s credit, he did agree to provide our attorney with the quoted cost of repair–which is an admission of guilt.In short, Joe cannot be trusted. He is not the ethical professional he presents himself to be. If you have experienced performance issues with a unit they have installed, contact a third party to diagnose then an attorney.

We used Absolute from our home warranty and it was a great experience. It started with Nate doing a diagnosis which was very informative. He showed us and recommended a new and bigger system. We then had Evan and Greg come do the install. They were very informative and were very professional. They were always on time and kept us updated on all. Would highly recommend.

Nathen came out to our home and quickly diagnosed our problem. Instead of just suggesting a fix, he presented multiple options while teaching me about the system in general. Came out the next day and the install crew were quick and clean. Overall great company!

In April 2023, we had a new unit installed. Juan made a hole on one of the garage walls and on one of the doors where the furnace is housed. He used drywall repair to attempt to resolve the issue; it’s a shoddy job. However, now our garage needs to be painted since he destroyed it. We should be given a new door as well. In summer 2023, this so called new unit stopped cooling & they had to come out to repair it. In November 2023, the unit stopped heating. I called the company twice and twice they stated they would send their on call technician, but they were a no show. Since the weather temperature was in the 20s, I had to hire another company to fix my unit & I have to foot the cost. Absolute Refrigeration does not care about its customers, they don’t care to resolve problems, and anyone can see the complaints that have been filed with the Better Business Bureau; they have resolved 0 complaints. They are not accredited by the BBB, so make sure you take your business elsewhere.

We called Absolute to service our old ac unit for the spring. Nathan educated me about our old unit and explained the benefits of a new system which we were already considering. We decided to purchase a new heating/ac unit and they came to install it the very next day! Juan and Evan were the installers and they were very professional, quick, and they cleaned up after themselves which I appreciated very much. All of the employees that we dealt with are very knowlegeable and give great customer service. I would highly recommend this company! I should mention they were our 1st call because they were the only company that could diagnose our ac problem last year! These guys know what they are doing!

We returned home from an extended trip to no A/C in the house. It was 94° inside. I called Absolute to have a serviceman come out, only to be told that it would be 3 days before they could come out. I realize that they have been very busy with calls over the time we had been gone. It had been over 100° every day since we left.When Joe, the serviceman showed up, he was very quick to diagnose the problem. I had a builders model unit, that had lost all its refrigerant. He showed me my options, as I figured the entire system needed to be exchanged. He was very professional and knowledgeable.When we had made a choice, the crew showed up the following day and installed the system, without a hitch. Juans crew did the cleanest install Ive ever seen, picked up after themselves and hauled the old system back with them. Thus far, the system is working great!Incidentally, my home was constructed in 2001, and that Trane unit ran that long!

I noticed my AC/Heater was blowing but not hot or cold. I went outside and noticed that my heat pump wasnt working. I placed a call to Absolute.They came out the next day, and quickly diagnosed my system which was on its last leg. I was given in WRITING exactly what my options were, from fixing the current unit, to upgrading to a brand new unit. With West Texas weather I didnt want to not have AC or heat!!So I chose to have a complete new unit installed. I got the midgrade unit and the very next day Adrian and Bryan were at my house ready to install. We met and walked through the house and they explained exactly what they were going to do. I had concerns about the current placement of my thermostat, and they agreed and moved it to a more suitable location. They even reducted my back three bedrooms which alwasy were hot in the summer and cold in the winter. They were courteous and straight up PROS.. The whole time they were there they completed the job that day! They also waiting for me to get home after they were done so they could explain to me how my new system works and how to use the app on my phone and get it on my wireless network. True professionals. Also they moved my thermostat at no extra charge!!Also because I was concerned with down time. I was told that my mid grade AC/Heater was in stock and it actually wasnt. They upgraded my AC/Heater to the higher energy efficient unit.Sadly its so rare today that you only get this level of service from a company. But these guys are TOP NOTCH!! HIGHLY recomended!Thanks guys!!

Our 24 year old a/c was not cooling properly. We out in a ST to our home warranty and Absolute was assigned to our ticket. They came out well after 5pm to assist. We are told they could fix it but it would probably continue to have issues, which we knew was coming. We also knew heater would probably not make it another year. We agreed to move forward with a new unit the guys( Amadore Nathan-name on my phone, as I don’t remember their names) were very professional. Out new unit was scheduled for Monday. The crew called ahead and showed up on time and went straight to work. They were the most quiet crew ever. They just worked and got the installed complete. Our house was about 80 degrees when the finished and was down to 72 in not time. And I will tell you that at 72 we are cold, not like our old unit that even at 66 parts of the house were still not cold. Adrian, Billy, Brian did a fantastic job and cleaned up everything like they hadn’t even been here. The unit is larger on the outside than our other one and had to have more dirt to build around it and covered more of my newly installed grass than I would have like but hopefully the grass will grow over it in no time. (That is my only complaint which is not their fault) I feel certain this new unit will pay for itself not having to run it so low all the time. We are very happy with the new install so far.

If I could give zero stars I would. We have been without AC in triple digit heat for almost 2 weeks. They came out for a diagnostic and ordered parts then came out to repair and realized they needed additional parts and left without communicating that to me. Zero accountability on their end and customer service is terrible

This business gave more than horrible service. They even managed to disable my AC unit after I was lied to about a quote they gave me. I denied service from them so the installers cut wires from fan motor and wired thermostat to board all wrong!!! I am now left without AC that was working before they came.

I did have issues but Absolute stepped up to their word and so did I. Home warranty companies just will not make your life easier and make claims on their coverage. The people who suffer is the home owner and the local repair companies that suffer. My AC has been broken for over 2 months. They have been out to my house multiple times saying that they have “fixed” the AC and yet nothing has changed.

I was extremely impressed with the professionalism of this company. When my home owners warranty failed us on an electrical issue with our AC, Absolute really stepped up to help us. We had, had triple digit temps four days in a row and they got us a new system the next day! 0% financing And a great warranty too. A payment I could afford was a plus. It works great, was put in neatly and they really respected my home. Thank you very much Nathan, Hugo, Daniel and Adrian. And Absolute Refrigeration ya’ll are the best!

The blower motor went out on our furnace. Our home warranty company sent these crooks to our house. The tech checked everything but the blower motor, didnt even test the capacitor. Tells me the furnace heat exchanger is bad, we need a new unit and proceeded to try to sell me a new system, condensing unit, a coil, furnace, new gas piping, condensation lines literally everything. Then said warranty company covers equipment but not modifications to what we currently have to make the new system work so itll be $ 2610.00 out of pocket for us. After multiple complaints to Absolute and to our warranty company they reassigned our claim to a different hvac contractor and in less than 24 hours our furnace works like new. This all began on 12/24/22. On 1/26/23 we finally have heat again. Oh and before the owner gets on here downplaying my review, to properly check a heat exchanger the blower motor has to work. They made zero attempts to make said blower motor work.

I had three service people and they were great. Joe, came out on service call and then explained not only to me but to my son(by phone) about the need for a new system. He helped us with the selection of a new system.Hugo and Adrian were the ones that came and installed the new Trane system. They were both very professional and knowledgeable. I know I had the best of the best taking care of my home. I would highly recommend Absolute to anyone.

I contacted my home warranty (American Home Shield) on Monday 26 JUN to get my air conditioner repaired. They contacted Absolute Refrigeration Air Conditioning to make the repair. They’re getting me fixed today (05 JUL). Service appointment is complete and house is cooling down nicely.

I have the invoices to backup this review!This company works thru American Home Shield (AHS). AHS has set prices that is usually lower than regular rates. This company works for this reduced price, then adds bogus charges that is not covered by AHS, to make up the difference. They tried to add over $600 in phoney parts and services. I finally had to agree to a little over $300 in fraudulant parts and/or services, due toit being my elderly mothers AC unit and it being hot.I was over charged for parts and services that were not used or performed and on top of this, they installed the wrong jet and coil for her unit. So on top of the $300, I had to pay AHS another service fee of $125 for Westside Air in Odessa to come out and correctly fix the unit!I tried to complain to AHS, but they do not want to hear about any fraudulant practices of companies like this one, as long as they keep AHS cost down, so they will keep letting this company get away with fraudulant charges. Because of the dishonest charging of bogus services and parts, it is hard for honest companies like WestSide AC to work for companies like AHS.Update after company reply: My review of your company and services point out intentional fraud and theft! You made me pay for services and parts that were not needed or intended to used! After the faulty repair was made, I tried to get a refund for the unused service and parts and I was told there were no refunds!

Joe was very professional and did a very thorough job of fixing the main issue as well as discovering other parts that needed repair or replacement. He took pictures and shared them with me, took his time explaining what, why and how and answered my questions. He did a great job and so far my older AC system is working very well. Thank you, Joe!

My house was heating up to 85 degrees when we had the 100+ days even with the thermostat set on 72 degrees. Absolute Refrigeration was assigned to me by my home warranty. Joe, the service technician, called me about 30 minutes before his arrival. Joe was very courteous and professional. He checked the inside unit, the thermostat, and then the outside unit. We were low on feon, which he added, and now we shouldnt have to suffer with an extremely hot house anymore. I would definitely ask for Absolute Refrigeration and Joe again if I ever have heating or a/c problems again. I would recommend everyone else to use also.

Within the last month my mother had to replace her entire heating and AC unit, well over 25 years old. I want to say how impressed I was with the service, selection and prices offered by Absolute Refrigeration. Everything was arranged, installed and completed within 24-hrs. Our AC unit went out in 105 temps. These guys helped us get our house cool within just a couple days. Very clean and respectful crew. Did what they said they were going to do and got us comfortable. Would recommend them to everyone.

Absolute Refrigeration AC and Heating was the most professional,honest and efficient company we have ever had at our home to deal with AC and Heat! From the first phone call to Rhonda scheduling us asap, Joe coming right on time to see what the problem was with our 17 yr old unit and then giving us several options (we were dealing with First American home warranty as well). We decided which we wanted and they started early the next day and the only break was 1 hr lunch then Isaiah and Hugo stayed until 10:30 that night to make sure we had AC until they could come finish the next morning. Our project was big but they got it done in 2 days!They moved our vents from the floor to the attic, ripped out old unit (which was very complicated no damage done at all to closet or wood work) installed new ac unit, checked all our old lines for leaks and even replaced an electrical outlet that was not up to code! We called to compare prices on the vents being moved up Absolute was far and away the best price!! Bottom line this is a great company!

Hugo and Daniel installed our new a/c system in august. Came back today and installed duct to both bathrooms. Very professional and the work done was A+ quality work. Would recommend these guys to anyone needing service or new installation. Great company with great employess

I had heard great things about their quality and service, and now I have seen it first hand. My mother had been quoted by another major in Lubbock, what I did not think was a fair price. I called Joe Brito at Absolute and they had a new system up and running the next day at a great price and with a fantastic 10 year service warranty. They are the best!

Me and my husband decided to install a new unit after having some issues with our old AC of 20+ years. Our installers Jaime Lomeli and Sam Lopez showed up promptly to our house the day of installation and knocked it out in one day! They worked around the clock with no lunch, made sure I understood how to work the new thermostat and answered all my questions before leaving. Well I would highly recommend Absolute Refrigeration Air Conditioning & Heating to my friends we needed a new unit for our home and I’m glad we made a good investment on our home. I just want to say a big thank you to Nathan, Isaiah and Jaime they did an awesome job installing my new unit, they worked so hard non stop they never took a break and they cleaned up after themselves. They were also very polite and very friendly.

Best experience! Joe came out to look at our air conditioner on Tuesday after hours. He explained every option available in a professional manner. After weighing our options, we decided to finance a complete overhaul since our house was built in 1971 and needed updating anyway. On Wednesday, Isaiah and Hugo spent all day in our hot attic in the 100 degree heat to remove all our old ductwork and replace everything. They were very courteous and professional the entire time, taking their time to do the job right. Thursday morning they arrived with all the new equipment and spent another day in the heat installing everything. I recommend these guys to anyone who wants a fast, pleasant experience!

I would absolutely recommend Absolute Refrigeration. Absolute recently installed a new air conditioning/heating unit in my home. Jamie and Sam were my installers. They were very professional and kept me informed as to their progress. All of the people I talked with at this company were very pleasant and helpful.

This by far is the worst company in West Texas. I came across this business through my home warranty. All I need is new duct work. The man came out tried to sell my husband a $14,000 new unit. All I need is duct work to my master bedroom.I would not allow them back. Long story short I had no other choice. All I asked if for them to call me to schedule. One morning I was at work I could not leave and I got a call the Tech was in his way. I didn’t know I had an appointment.The home warranty told them to call and schedule with me. The home warranty called me to make sure they did. They had not, but that’s not what absolute told them.They will try to rip you off if they can hence the $14,000 new unit. Then they have a major integrity problem. I do not want to business with people like this. So this is a warning to all.

I don’t typically do reviews but feel obligated as I was blown away by the professionalism and expertise of Nathan and Evan. They came out to a 20 year old unit that wasn’t cooling. After less than 2 hours and diagnosing several issues they have my house cooling again in the 90+ degree TX weather. Highly recommend!!

This review is a bit late but they were there when I needed them. My husband and I did some shopping around d and absolute was recommended to us. Our a/c completely broke and at the time the temperature was in the 3 digits. I called and caysonand hewas on top of it. He was very professional and explained to us step by step how ,when and costs. The next day juan and evan came in and in no time installed my new a/c. They were also very professional, courteous and cleaned up afterwards. Showed me how to work my new thermostat. Absolute you are absolutely the best. Now my home is very cool and relaxing. Thank you.

AC wasnt working properly, still blowing cool air, but not cold like it usually does. They come out and the entire time they are trying to up sell me a complete new unit instead of just repairing my existing unit, after I kept repeating that I would just like the repair, they tell me I need a part. When they leave my home the unit starts blowing hot air, leaving us worse off then when we started. I have been calling for updates, three weeks later they have the part, BUT they need supervisor approval to schedule a time to come out, which takes more than a week, because its about to be a month, I dont have AC and they have yet to schedule me in to make the necessary repairs. Paid them a thousand dollars, because they needed payment for the part. They finished breaking my unit. And the inside of my house is well over 90 degrees.

Very professional and very good. Employees were very knowledgeable with every aspect of the install. They never took a break till the installation was complete. Very neat also. Picked up everything as they went along. Had some issues with my Home Warranty Company but Joe made it work. I would recommend this company any time. They are the best service that I have had in a long time.

Class Act folks here, A++++, you will not be disappointed with Absolute. Highly Recommend them. Great people, they care, they work hard, they respected me and my values. They offered a Great High Efficiency Trane unit, love being able to save money on my bills, they even offered great financing for the new system, WOW, I actually save money from my old system by having a New Trane system, and all the functions, i can now control my thermostat from my phone and was able to add on cameras and water sensors, they all work via the thermostat control. Could not be happier with Absolute, great great great. Call them and let them WOW you.

Our heater broke right before a storm came that is bringing freezing rain and snow. Joe came out and saw the problem and worked with our warranty company. Our warranty company was gong to take several days to get the part to fix it so Joe decided to cover the part and was back the next day to fix the heater. He was so kind and is a life saver for us. We greatly appreciate everything Absolute Refrigeration has done for us. I would recommend highly to anyone.

I just want to take the time out to tell you how much I appreciate this business, not only the office people, but the installers and the people who do the repairs. I dont write reviews very often but feel compelled to do so. we recently bought a new house and found out rather quickly that our HVAC system was pretty wore out and with the temperatures already getting to 110 degrees we knew a fix was needed, our home warranty put us in contact with Absolute, they came out and and inspected our system after a lot of checking and climbing around in the attic we determined that the whole system was just at the end of its life, we discussed at length repair and replacement options based on the amount of repair that our system needed we opted for a new system the purchase process was smooth and straight forward, the tech said he could have his guys here on the date and time that worked best for us, when the day came they were here 15 min early the 2 technicians that came out was Jamie Lomeli and Sam Lopez, they showed up prepared and ready to work, they dove in right away, I of course had a lot of questions and they answered all my questions and concerns thoroughly. They were very good at explaining the system and how it worked along with the removal and maintenance process. Jamie and Sam worked for 8 hours strait with out stopping they are by far the best technicians I have ever had sent out to do work on my home I would 100% recommend them in the future and look forward to working with them again for our annual maintenance

Had a problem with my HVAC, the unit condensate system was leaking water into my ceiling and make a 3 foot hole in it, and my home warranty company calls Absolute. They told my home warranty company that they would be in contact with me within two days. By the end of the second day I had not heard from them so I called them and they said they called me but I did not answer which is incorrect. I had recieved no missed calls. When I do get their technician to my home to look st my unit he tells me that the drop line was plugged, which water had never stopped dripping out of it. Then tells me, and I quote, you need float switches and the emergency drip line rerun of your unit and the drip pan. I will turn this into your home warranty company on Monday and see if they will cover it. I thank the tech and pay him. It was a 75 dollar service call and I only have 20s so I gave him 80 and he did not have change. By Wednesday of the next week i had not heard anything so i call my home warranty company and they ask if Absolute had even been to the property and I told them they had and were supposed to give them the service ticket on Monday. That had not happened, and the agent at the home warranty company had to call Absolute and ask them for the service ticket which the tech had not turned in. Once they got the tech on the phone he then proceeds to lie to the home warranty company and tell them that the unit was fixed and that he told me, he was informed that he needed float switches and the emergency lines rerun to keep the problem from happening again and that work would not be covered under your home warranty and that it would coast x amount of dollars for them to do it. And mind you I have the paper service ticket that he gave me and nowhere on there is a quote. At the end of all of this the drip pan is rusted through and even the emergency drip line and float switches would not fix the problem So if you have them come to your property be very careful and have everything in writing because there are some shady people working there.

They even smiled for a couple of my pictures of the before and afters! Seriously, they installed everything, cleaning as they went, not stopping, taking breaks but working continuously until completion. Thank you to each one for all you did! I love watching this thermostat climbing down instead of up!

Poor customer service. They installed an HVAC in my home over a year ago and put some insulation in my attic. It seems they didn’t seal the ducts very well because it rained insulation for a few months after they left. They came back once to “fix” this and it didn’t help at all. My real complaint is they said my unit came with free service twice a year and I forgot about it but called about a year after they installed the unit to get them to come service it and they said they’d call back. I haven’t heard back from them.

Isaiah Mata & Hugo Gonzalez were very professional and made sure we were set and knowledgeable with our new ac unit before they left. They double checked everything and found a issue with a leak, fixed it right away. I definitely would recommend this company and how awesome they were at helping us find the right HVAC for our budget and needs. If they are servicing your unit, as long as its not a serious issue, and youre not using your home warranty, you should be fine. The technicians are friendly, their Office personnel are not.

Hugo and Daniel were very professional, they called and let me know when they were 30 minutes away, they cleaned up everywhere, even when my dog spooked them they were professional. We recently purchased a home and the a/c Was not cooling the house very well at all. We called several places in midland who never bothered to show up or return our calls. We called Absolute in Lubbock on friday and Rhonda was very helpful and had a tech at our home the next monday. The unit was undersized and worn out. We opted for a new unit . The install crew Jamie and Sam were on time ,very courteous and professional. They explained things as they worked and were very efficient. The gentleman that diagnosed and discussed problems and solutions with my old hvac unit and sold me the new unit was professional, courteous, and patient with me in answering all my questions.Likewise, the young guys that delivered and installed the new unit were polite, educated, and professional. Unfortunately, my AC unit went out during the middle of summer. Was dealing with a warranty company and this company made the experience way better. Eventually had to bite the bullet and put in a whole new unit. I was fortunate enough to have Isaiah Mata and Hugo Gonzales come and install it. They were very professional and courteous. Had to use this company through my home warranty. They installed my compressor when it went out and the compressor went out a day and a half later, when contacted they had the audacity to say that we ran the compressor for too long (it was a hundred degree weather day and the house was in the 90s).We never recieved an itemized statement for their work, and we believe they overcharged us for the freon (an itemized statement would help us determine this)We are now going on 30 days without air conditioning in the west texas summer. I highly recommend people find a different ac/heater service company because absolute refrigeration is absolute trash.

Best A/C refrigeration company in town. Ive followed Absolute Refrigeration Air Conditioning since I bought a d had them install my home unit. Recently they chose random families to feed this holiday season. I was fortunate enough to had been chosen. I must say I almost thought it was a holiday scam but im glad I followed through with it. I personally did not need the meal but I had a coworker who was not going to be able to celebrate with a traditional holiday meal but thanks to Absolute Refrigeration, they were able to have a complete meal all thanks to the generous and heartfelt family that runs and operates this locally owned business right here in the Hub!!Not many business can afford to bless our community but this one did. Joe and Isaiah did a tremendous job and were extremely helpful. Not only did they fix what was originally wrong, they went through and double checked everything else after to make sure everything was running right. They showed up on time and gave me good tips on how to make sure the unit was running correctly!

Highly recommend this company! Our AC went out over the long weekend and they had someone out within a couple hours of calling. Joe gave us a very thorough explanation of the issues and had us back up and running in no time.

My parents needed a new heating and air system. They followed through on what they promised and explained everything. We did have an incident. Something was done that locked the setting, on heat and it was almost 100 outside. We were told that someone would be out in about 30 minutes. In about 20 minutes they showed up and were able to quickly unlock the thermometer and show us what to do if it happens again. Very, very polite. These days that speaks volumes.

Wow...where do I begin. The company is unprincipled., unprofessional and I believe unethical. The technician, after diagnosing a Freon leak in my 21 year old unit proceeded to give me 7 options beginning with selling me a 20 thousand dollar unit to the low I do not recommend unit of close to 8 thousand dollars (in which he described it as a Wal-Mart unit) The last option was a repair option for which I wanted. Then he stated he would at my request write down the options for me to look at but in the end would not allow me to keep the paperwork. He then proceeded to say all of the reports to the office and to the home warranty people were already electronically generated and sent for them to proceed. I have called home warranty several times in which Absolute was called and to this day have not seen one person.

Between the time we began panicking that the A/C was broken with it being 90 degrees outside and the time they completed the repair on our unit it was less than 1.5 hours. They were out at our house within an hour and the repair was done shortly thereafter. Gave us recommendations on better filters that would put less strain on our unit and everything. First and Foremost Id like to give ThAnks to God for the blessing we received this week. I heard an add on the Radio station with a promotion for customers needing air and heating services. This promotion was for the purchase of central heating and air at 60 months interest free and free insulation with purchase of a unit. A great deal ThAnk You KFMX for the advertisement. So Wednesday a technician comes out and gives me an estimate and a very fair estimate. Thursday 3 hard working young men came out and started the job and job was complete Friday. Saturday morning they came to spray insulation. I have only one name of the installers please do forgive me for I cant remember the names of the other men. I wont mention the name because it wouldnt be fair to the other 2 but these guys are hard working men and deserve recognition, Absolute Refrigeration they make your business look good. Saturday evening my electrical somehow was not working on unit so a technician came over and fixed it this evening. This company is a great company they are worthy of more than the 5 stars. So let me tell an ity bity bio on my current situation I bought a home and with all homes there are unforseen circumstances mines being my gas line got shut off because of a gas leak which was my primary source of heat. So I am a singular parent of one I can basically only afford my bills. 2 years of freezing winters and scorching heat its hard on the body and spirit. Trying to sleep in freezing temperatures and shivering yourself to sleep I do not recommend. I know how to manage my finances and knew I could not take on any plans with interest financially I just could not do it. I have been on a program for 2nd year in a row of getting 3 estimates each time and no action on there behalf and weve had some cold freezing nights to date maybe that will get fixed in near future anyhow my poor dad who recently passed 3 months ago had my mom drive him around looking for a guy he knew who could fix my gas line for a price I might be able to afford 4 days in a row prior to the 3 weeks he passed because he hated our circumstances. Im certain hes looking down from heaven and his heart is now content. So Id like to give big thanks to this business it is a excellent business. I highly recommend it! So back to my previous review on heating and now this cooling review you never know which neighbors in your area are dealing with these difficult situations. I can completely relate I know all to well how it feels to be severely cold or terribly hot so I pray for all you who cant afford this comfort and advise all if your able bodied to get a system this company promotes 0% financing. Same day response, more than fair prices, honest & genuinely kind, knowledgeable & took the time to explain what the problem was & what was being done to fix it, and- if it things couldnt get any better- he was so patient and sweet to my 3 year old & his four large dogs who were very interested in EVERYthing the technician was working on. 4 months after they originally diagnosed the problem for my home warranty company they refused the part needed to fix and caused my family to start the process all over again no explanation after calling them and they would not let me talk to one of the owners/ partners can not express how much agitation this has caused. The lack of response to my concerns has plagued us for 4 months . There is no excuse to treat families like this.

Most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Because I fell under a home warranty contract I was completely at their mercy and they knew it. They never even ordered part needed and going on over 10 days with no air conditioning due to Absolute ineptitude.

After a few days out of town, we returned home to a hot house. The thermostat was set on 74, but the temperature read 88. It was nearly 11 pm on a Saturday. I googled 24 hour AC companies in Lubbock and found multiple excellent reviews for Absolute Refrigeration. Joe arrived at my house, after-hours and on the weekend, in less than 15 minutes. He diagnosed the problem, gave us some options, and provided a solution within an hour. Our house cooled off quickly and Joe was on his way. His knowledge, customer service, and efficiency are top notch. I would not hesitate to contact Joe for any AC needs.

Absolutely horrible! The minute Joe showed up at our home he tried to sell me a new unit, then he couldnt fix the problem without trying to upswell me on that also. When I went back out to tell him to install the equipment he had he said not with my attitude, I can call another company. At this point I told him to get the f*** off of my property that he was trespassing. He had until I got back out from inside my house to leave or he would be trespassing and he wouldnt like the consequences( I know that was childish and crappy on my part)dear Absolute if you are so busy that you cant work for the home warranty companies, then dont work for them. I will blast you and your horrible service anywhere I can find on social media.

Joe came out at midnight to repair our unit. He gave us several options for the repair. He was very friendly and did the repair quickly. We are happy we chose Absolute.

Joe Brito came out and immediately diagnosed the problem with our system. He explained it in a way that we could understand and reviewed all of our options from the best solution, which he recommended, to the lowest cost solution to solve the problem immediately. He is by far the best heating and a/c technician that we have had the pleasure of dealing with and should be commended for his honesty and outstanding customer service.

Read the five star reviews - they are obviously fake! Such a scam!We Had an A/C unit leaking in our attic. They came out and insisted we blow out our lines, install a blow out valve, service both of our units, and install sensors. We had it all done ($600 in addition to what they billed our home warranty company) to ensure we didn’t get another leak - ruining our living room ceiling. It’s been 6 months now and the same A/C started leaking again. The blow out valve they installed was completely plugged and the sensor they installed was in the secondary pan... the leak filled up the primary pan and overflowed directly onto the ceiling never accumulating water in the secondary pan and triggering the sensor. Complete waste of money. To top it all off their service guys left all their trash up in our attic.

Absolute is the best company in West Texas! Honest and polite technicians. We were in a bind with our AC, and Absolute gave us options and fixed us right up without charging an arm and a leg.

After 6 months my AC still wasnt fixed because the tech installed the pump wrong. i had to call a different company. i feel he was intentionally not fixing the issue to get more service calls. i couldnt reach absolute refrigeration at all for over 3 months. home warrenty company even told me i would t have to pay any of their services because it took 6 months to fix. then my heater went out. it took 2 months in 16 degree night and 35 degree days before they cane out and fixed my heater. my electric bill and gas bill are $100 more a month at least because of the issue. $400 extra because of their negligence. and they left my 8 year old in the cold that entire time as well as no AC. this is ridiculous. im Handicapped and should already be paralyzed!!!!!

This company has been great. Not only did they do the installation in a timely matter they were very professional and kind. Have been so helpful through the whole process. Highly recommended Absolute.

The technicians are not knowledgeable, do not know what they are looking for Their only concern is trying to sell a new system instead of repairing the current system. Kept telling me it was an electrical issue but when I asked them how it has been running this way for all these years, the guy answers that is a very good question. Called electrician to confirm that the compressor is out . Still cant get absolute to fix the stupid thing.

Cayson and Juan did an excellent job. Assessed the problem and fixed it in an efficient and timely matter he also gave me information that I requested on future upgraded.

Technicians were very polite and professional. Very helpful as well, answered all my questions. Even made me aware of issues I may have in the future. Would definitely recommend to others

Nathan was very professional, put my filter where it needed to be lol he fixed my leaking problem and was in & out in a timely fashion. He answered my questions, let me know about some things on my unit that I wasn’t aware of. All in all I would highly recommend Absolute Refrigeration

Was without A/C for 6 days before they first had trouble with their internet and phones. All had to keep calling to ask went they were coming out just to be told the scheduler is out, when its only 4pm on a Wednesday. Was told they have people on call but I guess having a house at 90 degrees in 100 degree heat index isnt an urgency. Never got any call backs, confirmations, or put on the schedule. Went with Reid and they were here in 20 mins and had the problem identified in less than 15 mins. They came next day with the part fixed and took not even an hour to get it all up and running. This place is trash, wouldnt recommend at all.

Efficient, courteous, over-the-top service! Joe came out at 6:30pm to fix my AC in my 90 deg house (temps in the 100s outside). An hour and a half later, my house is feeling cool again. Thanks, Absolute!!

Joe and Case came to work on our AC ubit today and were the absolute best!! Luckily it wasnt horribly hot but a heat wave is headed this way and they got us up and running and ready for the heat. Super proffesional!! Definetly recommend!!

We had issues with our a.c. for 3 days...techs came out Tuesday and added refrigerant to the system...they left...did not work, so I called Wednesday and they came out...flushed the system and recharged it...they said the return line was to small, something that should have been noticed when it was installed...was told the guys were on the way to make the return line bigger...got a call at 630pm from a lady stating they were rescheduling us for first thing the next morning, Thursday...a storm was coming, luckily wife reminded me that they had took a panel off the side of the house, so I put it back on in case we got rain...we miss work in the morning to wait for them, nothing...called the office, spoke to a lady, was given a excuse, like I told her, a phone call goes a long way...she said they be here by 10am...11am comes around, I call again...now she says theyll be at my house at 1pm...2pm comes around and I call again around 3pm...she has no idea where they are...asked to speak to the manager, she said theyre still at lunch...must take long lunches...I am very disappointed...never had these kinds of issues with poor customer service and lack of communication...seemed like the receptionist or whoever answers the phone needs to be let go...hire someone that can actually communicate to the customer who spends a good chunk of money on a unit purchased from them...

CONMEN. They were contacted by my home warranty company to repair the AC serveral times. Instead of repairing the AC the technician tried to talk us into a 10,000 replacement. It’s 100 degrees outside and instead of keeping the FOURTH appointment we have set with them they say they have no record of it and deny trying to up sell us and the manager GABBY HANGS UP IN MY FACE. I’m am livid!!

Very nice and understanding and professional the installation did take 5 hours but they made sure everything was the way it was suppose to be even cleaned up after themselves everyone I spoke to was very professional and answered questions I had

One of the WORST companies to deal with. Our air conditioner broke at the BEGINNING of summer and we just now got it fixed. RONDA is very rude and sucks at customer service. She told both my husband and me they would post date our check but put it in anyway When I called to ask why it went through she said she didn’t recall ever talking to us. Being the voice and the first person you talk to RONDA might want to change her attitude towards customers. She has yelled at us many times and also lied to us. Worst company ever!

Now these days you gets guys that dont have pride in the profession they work in. Talking in slang or wearing their pants around their knees, not these guys! From start to finish they remained professional. Isaiah and Sisto were very efficient, quick, clean and were able to answer all our question. Now compared to some the price was a little higher.... but truly with professional service like these guys provided, IT WAS WORTH EVERY DAMN PENNY SPENT!!!!! I called Thursday morning at 9:16 to be exact to schedule service the young lady told me they were booked but that she would put me down for Friday well come Friday i get no call so i called at 4 to verify if they would make it out to my home they told me they did not have me in the system a lady named with a G was rude saying I talked to an answering service practically calling me a liar she said she would give me a call back...Which I knew she wouldnt from the attitude she gave me..Thanks for nothing...She also asked if i was a warranty claim or a call in so i specified a call in and she says ohh just a call in! I know exactly what number i dialed im not an idiot....
