Just closed on a new Ventura Home for my clients. Michelle Kauffman (listing agent) did a spectacular job accommodating our requests as buyers. Both her and Eric were extremely thorough during the blue tape walk through process. They took the time to reassure us that ALL items would be completed to the buyers satisfaction. I would have zero hesitation referring my clients to Michelle & Ventura Homes in the future. They make a beautiful home with exception quality along with white glove service!

I am writing this as a three year review to vouch for the exceptional quality of my Ventura home. In 2017, when looking to purchase a home in Lubbock, I was not able to find new builds with charm or quality until I found Ventura Homes by Jeff Seal. Quality was the leading reason I chose Ventura but I was impressed throughout the whole process with everything about his product, the company, and what they offered. Jeff backed up his word and his product every step of the way leaving me feeling at peace and confident to this day.The other Lubbock builders look to Ventura and try to imitate as best they can, but I promise it is not the same. If you want something truly unique, beautiful and built to last, you will have to go with the original. There is no substitute for a Ventura home.

We love our Ventura home! The floor plan is spacious and perfectly thought out. The bonus room offers versatility and the built in work center is brilliant. Ventura Homes offers an amazing experience and outstanding product. The Ventura team works so hard and Jeff ensures all of the details are meticulous. Their professionalism, floor plans and attention to detail are exceptional. Jeff is great to work with and sincerely puts his heart and soul into each house to make sure they are built with quality and timeless charm. I trust them to design a house for my family and recommend Ventura as the most honest and best home builder in Lubbock. Some companies build houses, but Jeff and his team build homes.

We absolutely LOVE our new Ventura home! Jeff Seal and his team are exceptional! Jeff has always gotten back to us as soon as we needed him, and we thank him for his amazing customer service! Seriously...I’ve never met a builder who will personally take time out of his day to call us right back, no matter what time of the day. I cannot believe we found this stunning home in Lubbock, built by Ventura Homes! Jeff Seal and his team have a way of mastering design with function. This house is gorgeous! It is a designer series house where all colors and selections have been meticulously selected. Additionally, the house includes many design features such as a few outlets that have built-in USB ports, hidden outlets in the kitchen island, a hidden pantry, large shower nooks that fit very tall shower products, and an overflow of natural light. Jeff also allowed us to add (at an additional cost) a few upgrades that we wanted in our home such as additional electrical outlets, a pot filler, an outdoor kitchen with granite countertops. The Ventura Homes team has been very cautious about exposing my family to toxic chemicals and dust as I am pregnant. All repairs have been completed outside of the house and only installed on site. That level of care for the health of my family and I do not go unnoticed. Jeff Seal and his team always wanted to make us happy. So grateful that my husband and I found this beautiful house built by Ventura Homes as it does not disappoint!

This is a 3+ year review of our Ventura home. Starting at the beginning, the purchasing experience was great and the company did everything they said they were going to do. 1 year later, we gave them a call to fix several items that they said would happen from settling. We had no issue getting a crew scheduled for that free of charge. Over the past couple years and talking with neighbors, we have lower than average electricity bills when compared to similar houses from other builders. As of today we couldn’t be more appreciative of the quality that is not seen on the surface. Lubbock has been experiencing severe cold weather and many of our friends and family’s pipes are freezing. Our Ventura home has not had any freezing issues and we are very grateful for the forethought that went into the planning and design.

Ventura Homes builds the highest quality homes at the best prices. The customer service is impeccable. The style and design of the homes is unlike anything else in West Texas. They are always willing to take care of any problem that a home owner might experience.

When we purchased our house it was currently under a builder warranty. A leak had been found after our option period was up (apparently this was not the first time). We were told over and over that the leak would be fixed and that the floors would be replaced. Jeff Seals crew just put a band aide on the problem. They build a concrete footer (a huge eye sore) in the front of the house. After speaking to the original owners, they contacted Jeff Seal multiple times to fix the ongoing issue. After we purchased the house ( under the impression the leak was fixed) we noticed that the leak was still not fixed. I contacted Jeff Seal to let him know that water was still leaking into the house. He came back out and had his crew put some kind of seal (like what goes around a bath tub) on the concrete footer. He replaced the floors again, now for the 4th time in a house that was only 3 years old. Its extremely frustrating to buy a new house that is built poorly. I have done my due diligence as the home owner to make sure that its not a plumbing issue, or any other issue. At the end of the day its still a bad build. I also have a friend that custom built a Ventura home and she had the same problem with water leaking into her house. Its very disheartening that we spent almost $400,000 on a home that we have to pour extra money into because Jeff Seal didnt uphold his end of the deal with fixing the problem he and his crew created.

Ventura, Jeff Seal has no common courtesy for the people he builds homes next to. His contractors bring thier dogs with them to work and leave beer bottles on other peoples property. He built the fence of the property he constructed next to us to where now we cant get our lawn mower out. First off we were the first house on the entire Block and second our fence was built first so he should have been smarter and left some room to get out at least a lawn mower out! Horrible!

I waited a little over a year to post my experience with venture homes. I came in wanting to build a home from the ground up and from the get-go the cement footings for the foundation did not match the home BluePrint I selected. I felt that if I had never noticed no one of management would have been overseeing and a completely different house would have been built. Throughout the build that were always beer cans and bottles everywhere, people drinking on the job building on my home. Home was not completed at the agreed-upon date. The home however when completed was beautiful. Towards the end of the first year and it came to having small issues and repairs done they did not do a single repair! Neither Jeff Seal or his assistant Paula, I had to get a third party which is so disappointing and discouraging that the service after the sale was non-existent! I was calling them and texting them for months and just felt like I was being put on the back burner! I hope this review helps anyone considering building with Ventura homes.

Love our beautiful new home! So many great features that make it unique, from the amazing kitchen to the spacious master bath and the Texas stone on the front. Jeff Seal came to our closing personally, and his staff has taken amazing care of us. Highly, highly recommend!

I do not live in a home he built. He is building houses right behind my home. I notice attention to detail and quality that I have not seen in very many builders. Is subcontractors do good and his staff do a great job of quality control. Their attention to detail is great. I may not agree with his approach to architecture, however his homes are well-built and appear to be a great value. Should I ever build another home, he would be on the short list of builders that are considered, if we can agree on how the home sure look like.:)
