After a terrible experience with another new builder in Lubbock we went with Dreambuilt for our first new home purchase. They have been outstanding! Build quality is excellent, finishings are modern and they have prices that cant be beaten by other builders in the same neighborhood. Huck came over for the blue tape walk through where we mark any touch ups that need to be done before closing and was on top of making the home perfect before we move in. HIGHLY recommend them if you are in the market for a new home construction. They have an outstanding reputation and stand behind their work 100%. Trust was a huge issue with the 1st builder we dealt with and you can trust Dreambuilt to do the right thing and build a beautiful home. Thanks again Dreambuilt, so happy to have a nice new home to build memories in!!!!

UPDATE: Well here we are almost 8 months after closing and still waiting on things to be fixed. Our front door still leaks air and doesn’t close flush. Still waiting for the mortar on our fireplace to be repaired. We have caulk separating from our hall bathtub, none of the doors are perfectly plumb there are gaps and zero clearance on almost every door. Still waiting on a decision on our peninsula slab of granite there is what appears to be a divot in the slab. They tell us it’s a normal thing. Out of 6 pieces this one has it? Curious. Still waiting on our threshold for our back door into the garage and a bolt for a hinge on the garage door. If you go with them make sure you check every stage of the build. Hopefully the contractors are better now. QA is not that stellar.We have chose DreamBuilt because they had a plan and layout that the wife loved. The experience was great and responsive during construction. We picked exterior color, stone for fireplace and requested not to have the mud bench installed. Granted house was still at the stud phase so shouldn’t be an issue. Minor changes.Fast forward and the house is painted wrong color, mud bench installed and the wrong stone was installed on the fireplace. Fortunately we caught the stone before it hardened and the paint before the painters left. The electrician forgot our plug above the outdoor fireplace, installed a 50 amp range plug for the dryer( which still hasn’t been addressed) 2 regular non GFCI outlets by bathroom sinks and none of the cable/network jacks are hooked up and they forgot one for the outdoor fireplace. Irrigation was installed and sod laid over all the debris on the lot. Ground was not leveled or graded before installation. We have spots that do not get watered because sprinklers were set too low. Yard is uneven.Response is great until you sign for the house then it’s very slow.We love the look and layout of our house, however we never met the builder himself and the contractors seem to go unchecked. They had used our toilet while working on the house. Cabinets have one coat of paint in them and show all imperfections. Our punch list was not complete before closing. I blame the contractors but some responsibility falls on the builder.

From Recently attempting to build on a piece of land and currently unable to, to switching to buying a new Dreambuilt home they were building the process has been Phenominal. Dustin & Lexeys responses are always quick & satisfying to help ease the process with any questions we had. From checking on the build time to time the contractors were polite and welcoming to myself and wife on seperate occasions. Upon the walk through before closing Beau & Dustin were very thorough and particular to help point out final touch ups needed. Once returned after closing everything checks out perfectly. The only minor defect ever found upon inspection was a slightly damage dish washer door, (from installation), Beau has already had the replacement here in less than a week. With their help, communication and a general understanding homes begin settling after some time I do not fear whatever minor things may come with the great service weve been given!

Here we are a year later and still dealing with the same issues. 4 times the caulk in our shower has had to be redone. Doors keep sticking, new front porch is cracking and the craftsmanship is very sub par. Our 8 foot slab on our peninsula still has a blemish all they say is it’s normal. The caulk around the trim is horrible the joints in the trim are not smooth or level.We are seriously regretting our decision to go with DreamBuilt. It has been a very unsatisfactory experience so far. We shouldn’t have these issues for what we paid. Definitely do your research and use an inspector and check on the progress because there was never a supervisor at our site

Had a home built off 82nd and Alcove in 03/2021. Found issues from day of closing until currently. Reached out the day of closing and was told “I was to picky”. Very unprofessional, multiple office people dealing with throughout the building process, refused to fix things within the first year, warranty issues that wouldnt be addressed priority, have had two major leaks and no care to fix, cheaply built homes, no pride in building a quality long standing house and customer service is nonexistence within the company. Run now if you want a quality built home. Pictures attached are cracks that started within the first year and after they were made to fix issues, this was the result afterwards…..absolute nothing!! Have you started running yet……please start if not. Only gave a star because it was the only way to write a review.

We purchased a DreamBuilt home that was a year old in 2022. Have loved it ever since. We had some concerns that Kyle and Beau came out to assess quickly, and were reassured that repairs would be taken care of despite not being within the timeframe for the warranty on several items. They were professional, knowledgeable, and very easy to work with. If you are in the market for a new home we highly recommend the DreamBuilt team!

My wife and I recently purchased from Dreambuilt Homes and are loving it so far. When we have had an issue they have responded quickly and have taken care of it to our liking in a very quick and timely manner. The houses are very well built and they do not cut corners. Bottom line is we would recommend them to anyone who is looking to purchase a new home. Everyone we have dealt with that works for Dreambuilt has shown professionalism and taken care of us.

My husband & i purchased with Dreambuilt in 2021. We love our home but have had problems with the caulk in our shower since we first moved in. We have had them fix it multiple times and it keeps coming up and ruining. Last time i reached out was within our “warranty”, but never heard back from anyone. I reached out again because it is now completely gone in our shower and this can cause big issues.. i was told that we are out of warranty and they cannot help us. I get we are out of warranty but they have never fixed the issue since the get go and now we are in a bind. We are very upset with these builders.

Nothing but problems with our Dreambuilt home. Windows failed 13 months after built and of course they say it’s cosmetic and not in warranty. We had so many issues to get fixed from doors that still don’t close right to leaks in roof to fences falling down etc. Being out thousands of dollars to replace windows on a new 300,000 plus house in a year is very poor customer care and in my opinion cheap shoty construction. Complete joke and not the kind of service one would expect for that kind of money.

We have worked closely with DreamBuilt Homes on a professional level for more than a year. Their commitment to providing quality homes at an affordable price is apparent in the way they conduct business on a daily basis. Their staff is responsive to questions and needs. Once a timeline is set, they go above and beyond to be sure it is met. In our experience, DreamBuilt Homes takes pride in being a company that operates with integrity.

Recently purchased a house they built in 2021. Coming from renting a betenbough I cant even describe the amazing difference. This house is built so well. No dust coming in every door and window. The house stays cooler. I cant hear any outside noise in the house. Beautiful functional floor plan.

We are so appreciative of DreamBuilt Homes. They were professional from start to finish. They took their time letting us choose colors, countertops, flooring, landscaping, and more. The quality and workmanship are outstanding. Will send all our friends and family here too. Thank you DreamBuilt!

Everyone makes a mistake in their approach to any given situation. We have found if you speak to Dustin on a second occasion you will get positive results. Additionally you may also choose to speak to his two superintendents Kyle & John & his warranty person Hunter whos workmanship is outstanding. Also they are Texas polite.

Dustin Kreger is a great builder. He is very responsive with great ideas and will accommodate your needs. We love our new house.

Love the home but have had a few things come up which warranty will cover. Warranty takes forever to get resolved but understand lot of new homes and we arr not the only ones dealing with issues
