This truck was blocking the road at the Wolfforth Farmers market! Good Job!
Very interesting and beautiful place to come to. The atmosphere is very inviting and the presence of the Lord rests here. I haven’t seen the prayer wall yet but what I have seen I am very impressed and I could come here everyday to just unwind if they would let me. The Watering Well also serves some really great food and very healthy.
I’d like to give DePatrick a five star. He did a great job of painting and restoring my chipped door, he even came back the next day, to repaint the door to give time for the plaster to dry. I told him my dog scratched the door frame and I knew it was not covered under the warranty, but he went ahead and fix it anyway. What can I say, Betenbough did it again! They hire the most amazing Godly workers who go over and beyond the call of duty. 5 stars to DePatrick !
We purchased our home from Betenbough towards the end of February. We greatly admire the modern-look design, energy-efficient features, and the overall layout of the house. The house is constructed efficiently and is easy to maintain. Our sales associate, Carly, was informative and easy to communicate with. She understood our requirements, and we appreciated her recommendations. Keaton who conducted the blue tape walkthrough was punctual, knowledgeable, and friendly. She provided valuable advice on managing the house. The entire process of purchasing a new home was made easier due to their efforts, and it was stress-free. Our family holds Betenbough in high regard as they genuinely care about their customers.
The people we worked with were very friendly, nice people. In hind sight I would have done things differently. My advice, be sure your punch list is complete, then go back to be sure everything they said they would do has been done BEFORE you close. I recommend spending the extra money to have the home inspected. After we closed we expected to enter a clean home, move in ready with all the items repaired and it was not. We will be cleaning for a week just so we can move in and things we were told would be done were not done. We never received our window screens, paint was splattered on door knobs, the vinyl floor and carpet. Some of the blue tape was still on walls. There is more cleaning to do on this new home than we did on the past two from previous owners. Now that we have closed they no longer have an incentive to answer our calls or do these things. We love the home but would have made sure it was ready for us before we closed. Now we will work with the warranty team and try to get these things completed that would have been easier to do before move in.
Awful, ugly buildings that jack up the price of neighborhoods and districts. the houses are cheap and do not hold up. every house is a monument to both poor building, poor quality overall, a desperate desire for money and status over actual value, and the enshrinement of the depressing suburbia we have all been forced to live in. every house looks the same and are just as cheap and soulless as the neighborhoods they make are.
This place is beautiful for a wedding, or a photo session!! I absolutely love all the beauty hidden right in the middle of town!! The gardens are beautiful year round!!
I am a realtor representing a buyer for a new Betenbough in Harvest (SW Lubbock). It was an absolute pleasure to be assigned to Ben Vadder (Sales Associate) and Bryan Blau (Experience Specialist). Ben was very patient as we worked through some minor change orders. He was readily available to answer any questions and always responded in timely fashion. Bryan did an exceptional job during the final walk through process. He afforded us complete freedom to blue tape any issues we felt needed to be corrected as opposed to justifying defects in craftsmanship. He clearly took tremendous pride in his work and delivered an outstanding product to my client.
My husband is in the process of purchasing a home with this company. It started off smoothly and since we don’t live in the area, our sales agent said it would be no problem to close remotely. Well, surprise, surprise the title company they work with told us another story- first saying they don’t offer remote closing and then said ok but it’s an extra fee of $200 to close remotely. We were shocked as we weren’t told about this factor at all. To top things off when we got in contact with our sales agent regarding the matter, he said he would find out and call us back. He has yet to do that. I’m truly disappointed in the lack of professionalism and honesty displayed.
Ben was very helpful in getting us an appointment and making time for us. Whenever we stepped in after that first meeting, he made sure to say hi. Everyone was kind! Their process is one of a kind and you should experience it. If youre on the fence, go ahead and call!
Cmon Construction Manager how much of an impact were you making in our community when you were on the phone in the Frenship School Zone, not using your turn signals and failing to maintain your lane. Guess normal traffic laws doesnt matter much to management @ Betenbough
Betenbough does provide good quality homes. I just wanted to kindly point out a few cons: they do not provide that many updates nor photos on the houses progress. The foundation process can be sped up faster In my opinion. Our house sat for weeks at a time without any progress. other than that, Betenbough is probably the best builder in Lubbock to go with and they are affordable too.
The house I was unfortunate enough to have Experienced with Betenbough had a number of problems for a house less than two years old. From cracks in corners of windows and doors all the way to the ceiling and plumbing and electrical it was a disaster. The worst part was that when trying to sell the house I owed more than the house was worth. When I talked with a reputable builder I found out that I was on able to Help them build me a home because mine was virtually worthless. When I asked the realtor I bought it from why this Was. She explain to me that when she Found a home for me I had given her a price I could qualify for. that is why she suggested Betenbough. That is when she informed me she knew of the quality of house Betenbough built but it was only houses available I qualified for. My suggestion to anyone looking for I home or a new home to build is save a little longer and make sure you find a builder who uses quality merchandise and qualified workers.
I bought a home built by berenbough in 2006. OMG! The fixtures are original and cheap as hell. Tried to replace the cheap ass cabinets and found out the studs are 24” apart. Attempted to get an electrician to install some can lights but they refuse to go into the attic because the rafters are 2X4s. Every short cut a builder can make is in this house. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from these guys.
Photographing Libby + Hunter’s wedding today! Check out her ring!!! Gorgeous!!
John Giles is a great man of faith. Also very polite open, clear and ,honest about the steps and different avenues for a future home.
