Wish you had sent this guy in the first place. The first guy didnt know what he was doing. Kept ordering thr wrong part. This has taken four months to rectify. It took fifteen minutes for Scott to fix the problem. It just didnt need to have been such an ordeal. Im considering cancelling my membership. Shouldnt have taken so long.
Excellent service, explanation of issues, and follow up. Great to see Doug again.My ONLY issue is that Sears needs to be more specific on scheduling times, rather than just the whole day. Thats not fair to the customer to not know. AT LEAST give us morning or afternoon.
Both technicians were professional, friendly, and very efficient. They quickly fixed the problem with a happy and fun attitude. They were wonderful!
My appointment was to start between 12:33pm and 1:14pm tech didn’t show up til almost 5:30pm and my machine is still not working. Put in control board and left. Machine made same error code again and quit working. I can’t get ahold of a person to speak to.
Scott is awesome. Hes from the Lubbock office and hometown of Yosemite. He actually ordered the right part a month ago and some other bafoon named Paul had no clue of the technology of updating the GE machine I had. Plus that technician (Paul) scratched up my washer pretty good and almost broke the cover of my washer. So Paul tells me Im not familiar with GE. I tell him then call Scott. It started to work but he didnt update the washer with the new motherboard. we call back Sears home warranty department. They send him back to my house. Scott I dont know why. He says its a bad motherboard. Im like the washer works I just need it to be on the right settings with the knob. Anyway so this guy(Paul) has the part sent to the wrong address. Another appointment is set up and this other technician calls and says you got the part? I say nope. He goes and says Im gonna reorder the part and have it sent to your house. He never did. Now on our October 15th appointment. Scott calls and says did you get the part. My wife says not yet. He goes Ill be right over in 15 to 20 minutes. He was able to get the washer updated. It didnt need another motherboard like Paul said it was. So Scott Thank you for your dedication and keeping up with the times. You old hard heads that dont want to get with the program. Just retire. Thanks Scott, you rock!!!

It took about two minutes for the repair guy to tell me that the microwave was not repairable. That information cost me @$260! Thanks for nothing!
Sears Appliance Repairs needs to communicate more with their techs. I spent an hour each time with customer service on the part for my oven that was not deliver directly to my house. No one could find any information on where the part went and that it showed delivered to my house. After much deliberation, I just gave up and tried to relate to customer service that if a tech came out to install the part that hed better have the part with him due to it not being delivered to me. How hard is it to track something with UPS since SAR ordered the part directly. I took it upon my self to find out where the part was delivered. I called UPS and pursued the package. Finally, after much deliberation, UPS gave me the address where it was delivered to. Well, it showed not my address but an address that was located northwest of town from where Im located. Customer Service could of pursued this same tactic and could of found out where part went but no communication was involved. After 5 weeks, I finally have the part installed and my oven working. I will not give this company but 2 stars for the time frame and frustration I went thru with their customer service personnel. In the future, if I needed, I will for sure look for another appliance repair co.

The technician did a good job however the turn around time to return was horrible. The part needed to fix my washer was here within 2 days of ordering it. The tech did not return till the following Tuesday which put me and my family out of a washer for a week! I tried to call the tech several times and the least he could have done was call me to advise me hed be back in a week to fix it. 🫤🫤
The service technician did an excellent job, and he was very efficient and professional.The service center notification for the appointment date and time needs to be improved. It would be nice to have a more specific date and time, or at least morning versus afternoon. The notification showed up in my email on the day of the appointment.

Augustine was great and did a great job. I have nothing but good things to say about him and his work.However, it would be VERY helpful to be able to get a better idea of arrival time from whoever manages that. Even just narrowing it down to morning or afternoon would help a lot. I had other things to do yesterday and fortunately, I was still able to make it, but just barely. It seems like since my appointment was made a week ago, I might have been able to get someone before 2:30 in the afternoon.Also, I guess the appointment for my dryer was cancelled. I was never told why or what the next step is. Long story short: the technicians are awesome, but the scheduling system leaves a LOT to be desired.
The technician installed the new ice maker in a timely manner upon his arrival. No problems where due to the technician but no one from Sears service contacted me to cancel my original appointment for repair on Thursday, June 13th and no repair technician came that day.

Scott is extremely helpful and explains everything in detail about what he is doing and what can be done.My only complaint is with the scheduling from Sears. You are told they will be there between 8 & 5 on a day. That time frame is narrowed at some point during the day but fluctuates. So, unless you work close to your home and can leave at any time, you have to take a day off work. This service took three trips to come to a final resolution. Had I not been able to make arrangements with my son on one and lucky enough my schedule allowed me to leave work on third trip, my wife or I would have had to take three days off work for a dishwasher repair. For that, I would give Sears 1 star.Scott however was willing to work around my schedule to give me time to get gone on this last trip or I would have had to reschedule.So, short version, Sears Repair 1 star. Sears Employee and service tech, 5 stars.

Had used before but didnt have to use their call service. First had to wait over an hour to speak with Miss Bollywood of the year. All I wanted to go was cancel the appointment. Cancelled on line, thru text email and then thru telephone. Nothing seems to work. Did this two days out, plus day before and morning, Nothing worked. Sears needs to get their call center out of Bombay India and find some English speaking reps. Will never use this again. Buying other brands.

He came first ti.e told me ineeded a new icemaker. Got it ordered that day had it delivered to my house. He came back next week due to Christmas. It did not take him long to install the new icemaker. He was in and out of here in no time. Very pleasant man.
Had my kenmore refrigerator repaired because it was not cooling and 40 days later it started doing the same thing. Sears only has a 30 day warranty on parts and labor. Had another repair company come out and they said that it wasn’t repaired correctly. Was on the phone with sears to try and get them to come back out but was told that I would have to pay for any service visits and any repairs done.Never use sears appliance repar service!

Doug tried very hard but the problem was not fixed. He has replaced the ice maker, did not fix the issue, then he replaced a water valve but still has not fixed the problem. It still does not consistently make ice. Not sure what my next steps are.

I was charged over $300 to replace a simple belt. I WILL not use Sears appliance repair again. I could have brought a new washing machine for what I paid Sears
Came and pressed one button on our flooded washer. Although the water drained, I asked him to check the pump to make sure it was not the issue, and joked saying I wouldnt want him back tomorrow. He didnt check. Washer is broken still and a technician is back on the way today.
