Jason and David did a good job with my kitchen plumbing. All the old pipes were re-routed and new flooring and cabinets can be installed upon arrival. The plumbers were fast and very professional.

Great service and fast response time. Charlie has been the tech both times and is very knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. I joined the Comfort Club because I trust JDs to provide expert service to my homes AC/Heating needs.

Jason and his helper did a 5-star job replacing a 130 sewer line. The workmanship was flawless as well as timely and they worked with the city effectively. The clean-up and trench backfill went well with no complaints. I would recommend these fellows any day knowing that they take pride in what they do and dont mind doing a days work... The price was reasonable as well...

To my horror, my camode started to back up and overflow this AM. My plumber I, have used for so many years has apparently gone out of business. I found JDs on Google and they responded by sending Jason out mid afternoon. After he called and explained the measures he had to use to successfully unclog my sewer line. I am extremely satisfied. Terrible gas line service. Had them install a gas regulator on the line to the house. Atmos yellow tagged the sevice due to a leak on the quick connect elbow that JDs plumber installed Monday morning (I watched the bubbles when Atmos sprayed the elbow). Atmos talked to the plummer on the phone explaining the issue and when I called JD Plumbing 3 hrs later at 1pm I was told they couldnt get someone out until Tuesday morning (next day). I told them that was unsatisfactory as it meant being without heat and hot water until it was fixed and hung up. This morning at 10:30 I called and was told they werent sending anyone out. To say I was livid is an understatement. It was not a good conversation to say the least. I have stopped payment on their invoice until it is resolved.

For years I have had issues with my AC and heater. Whenever the repair guy got to my home he came in and he was able to find the problem very quickly and fix it right there on the spot. I was highly amazed and very impressed. 5 star rating.

Sorry I fell behind on getting this review out. I had JD’s come out and replace a tub faucet. They installed an access panel to the guts of faucet without me even asking. The work was great. The price was better than expected. JD’s really got our family out of a bind. I will be calling them for all my plumbing work. Thank you, TW

Our A/C went out on a Thursday night so I called around 9 on Friday morning. The young lady was helpful and courteous and set an appointment for us that very afternoon! JD came out at the scheduled time-no delays, no rescheduling- and had our unit repaired and running well in no time!! We live in a small, rural town and usually have to wait at least a couple of days then another few so parts can come in etc. but JDs took care of us promptly and courteously! Thank you so much! We had an AC emergency yesterday evening, and JDs responded promptly this morning. Lee changed all of the filters, diagnosed our AC problem and fixed it within minutes with a temporary part. He came back later today and installed the new part. He was a total professional with an easy-going, customer-friendly attitude. We appreciate Lee and JDs for their prompt, professional, expert service. We are now on their Customer Comfort and Filter Change programs. Thanks!

I DO NOT recommend this company and will NEVER use them again. We called with ac/heater issues. The first time, Jarin came out, stayed 15 minutes, stated we tripped our breaker and to call if problem persisted. Called back the following Monday. Jarin came back, and I tried again to explain what the system was doing. He didn’t really listen too much to what I had to say. He checked outside and inside. Said I think it’s your compressor, and will have to order part. Two days later he called to state the part was in. I tried to ask questions regarding what made him think the compressor was out because I had my doubts. He was short and clearly irritated that I dared to question him. Our system wasn’t really showing clear signs of the compressor going out except for a tripped breaker ONE time…which isn’t definitive. However, I decided to trust him. Two days later, a different gentlemen came to install the compressor. Total cost was $1500 (labor and freon). Part was still under warranty. Over the weekend same problem persisted. Newly installed compressor made zero difference. Called yet again and requested different technician who came to evaluate and within 2 minutes stated our coils were dirty and needed attention. Quoted us $1900 to deal with this issue. (Crazy thing is, my husband questioned/suggested this to Jarin as the possible culprit the first time Jarin came to the house! He wouldn’t listen.)My husband called and spoke with J.D. about the additional quote and his frustration, as we had just spent $1500 on a compressor that didn’t fix the issue. J.D. refused to even consider the possibility that they could have been incorrect in the initial diagnosis about the compressor. Just argued with my husband instead. Had he just listened and attempted to make the situation right, offered an apology for the frustration or the fact they didn’t get it fixed the first time…really ANY type of customer service, the situation could have been much different. Could both of these very expensive repairs been needed at the exact same time? Possibly. But not likely. It comes down to money with this company. They do not care how they treat their customers. ZERO customer service or professionalism. They are right. Period.Luckily, a friend found someone else to take care of the coil issue for us at a fraction of JD’s inflated quote. My piece of advice, stay far away from this company, or you will likely regret it!

Bill, a million thank yous for coming out on a Saturday. He fixed our sewer/toilet/tub fiasco. Service was quick and gave me great information regarding our toilet issues. We had previously called 2 other companies and got their answering service but never got return phone calls. JDs answered the phone and Bill came out within a few hrs.

Highly recommend these guys!! Prompt,professional and very courteous.They arrived 20 minutes earlier than the appt. time and 4 hours later we had a new AC system,turn key, that works like a champ!! Super nice crew that knows their way around any HVAC problem or issue. JD and his crew went above and beyond to fix our AC! They were kind, courteous, knowledgeable, and very efficient! The job was completed in a very short time even though it was a major problem! We are extremely pleased with their work, and highly recommend this company!

I would not recommend this company to anyone. It all starts with their office Manager Cathy. I spoke with her on the phone in regards to an invoice and she was very short and unprofessional. I have also had email correspondence with her, and her email correspondence is also unprofessional. This company should look into addressing their management. The highest plumbing prices Ive encountered. They charge excessively for minimal work. I would recommend JDs as an absolute last resort.

We called JDs and was told a service person would be there in the afternoon to deal with our plumbing problem. George arrived about 2 p.m. and had our toilet fixed in less than an hour. He was friendly and courteous, allowing me to clean the floor while the toilet was removed. This company has responded promptly each time we have had to call on them for plumbing and air condition problems.

JD’s Prompt Service should change their name to JD’s Never Returns Your Call Service.If they can’t call you back, at least to tell you that they’re busy, it’s not someone you want to do business with.

George came out on a humid Sunday afternoon to unclog our main line. I called 4 other places and no one else could make it to Levelland. He was professional and efficient. He was also so patient with my 7 year old asking questions and watching all his cool machines. Great service!

Prompt professional service. Had a pipe bust by my water heater and only recourse was shutting down main to the house. I literally called about 5 or 6 different plumbers before coming across JDs. The best any of the rest of them could do was get someone to my house in a day or more, which obviously an issue when you are completely without water. They had someone to my house in about 3 hours and fixed the problem in about 20 minutes. Im not sure how the price compared but honestly didnt matter given the situation. My only regret is that I dont remember the plumbers name who came out as he was a stand up professional!

Technician (Lee) was 1.5 hours late, replaced burned wires on outside unit. When we asked him why they were burned and if anything else needed to be checked he said he didn’t know. We called the office and received no help from JD who was also extremely rude. They advertise that if they are late they don’t charge but didn’t stand behind their promise. Tried to say it was because their shop was so far away from our house.....its 33 miles.Do not use this company! Will not take my business there again!

Bubby was super responsive & fixed the issue I was having with my AC. They were also able to fix a pipe in my house that had busted during the freeze. Good company with great service!

Prompt is in the name for a reason. Response was fast, and repair was being performed at a time sooner than they had quoted. Lee was professional, friendly, and great to visit with! JDs is a superb local business, highly recommended!!!

Jason Mercado was very prompt in getting out to my mothers place and did a very professional and great quality work he repaired a pipe that had been leaking under the sink did a great job and I definitely recommend him to any one he is AWESOME

JD’s is the best! They took care of our gas line repair as quickly as possible and the execution was flawless.

Unprofessional. I called for a repair on my ac unit a technician came out and changed the capacitor but installed the wrong size. This was on a Friday the following Monday I called a different technician. I was told the capacitor that was installed was 10 mfd and my unit called for 5 mfd. The difference was to much for my unit that it could have blown my motor. The next day I went in to talk to the owner he wasnt in and has not contacted me about the situation. It has now been 4 days, 2 different check ins, and Im still waiting on a call.

These people sent a repair man to check out our unit who could only try to pressure us to replace our unit because it was too small for our house. I explained to him it had been working fine and that something was amiss. he then threw us his hands and said he could do nothing for us. He charged us 165 dollars which I paid in cash and got a receipt for only later to be billed for a second time because the repairman had pocketed the money.I know...I know...never pay in cash.On top of all this the wife and I fixed the unit by cleaning the coil in the air handler.

Very prompt and courteous service--Technician arrived in 30-40 minutes after my calling. Had my AC going in no time (20 minutes) as he actually lived nearby. Replaced the Capacitor and was on his way after paying with my Visa CC. This was about 5:30 PM on a very hot summer day.

Showed up earlier than expected, which was good. Fixed my AC unit outside in a little more than an hour. So far so good.Honest people not trying to stick it to you with the cost to repair.The Technician wasa excellent problem solver.

I called on a Saturday morning about a leak in my alley. A technician was there within a couple hours. He diagnosed the problem as a leak in an irrigation valve. He said that he couldn’t fix it because only an irrigation guy can do that. I asked him to cap it and he said he couldn’t do that either. He said his work van wasn’t properly outfitted and he didn’t have the necessary parts. Maybe he was telling the truth about not being able to do anything, but based on his attitude about the whole thing, I don’t think he tried very hard. Would not call them again, too many other plumbers in town.

Rick and Roach were very professional... Good at keeping me posted on a day and time. Arrived as planned. Pricing was in the ballpark of what I expected. Will call them first and drove to came to Spur where so many (10 Yes 10) contractors said no or a mileage fee that was ridiculous.

We called JDs because we were having difficulty with programming our thermostats and keeping the church cool. They told us about Wifi thermostats and how they could help with our energy bill and the frustration of having the church cooled/heated during various events that came up without someone physically going to the church and adjusting the thermostats. JDs installed the Wifi thermostats the next day. They were very prompt, professional and answered all of our questions. We will definitely call JDs in the future.

Called jds to take a look at my ac. I have used them for 15 years. Had a guy come look and tell me the filter that I was using was to thick and was a pound low on coolant ok so he changed it and pot more coolant in. This didnt fix the problem at all called them back out the next day to find out the coils were dirty and they want to charge me 1200 on top of the 300 I already spent for them to fix the problem. Called around and everyone else charges from 6 to 750 on the same problem and they never even tried to make it right with the money I already paid them to fix the problem. CALL AROUND GET QUOTES FONT USE JDS THEY WILL SCREW YOU IF THEY GET THE CHANCE.

Called the night before and said they would be here in the morning. Jonthon was great and did an awesome job. Would definiately recommend to anyone. Fast, friendly and got the job done!!

Had a leak around my water meter which they did fix. My mistake for not confirming hourly rates first. THEY CHARGED ME $125 AN HOUR to do the repair. Be sure to get a quote first, I didn’t which was dumb on my part.

Jason came out and cleaned our sewage pipe, found out the problem was in the alley with city . Called the city to set up repair . He was very thorough and got us fixed up

Was scheduled to get a residential main water line shut-off valve replaced on September 3, 2021. No one showed up on September 3, 2021 or called to state there would be a delay. Made a second attempt to have the repair done and was told someone would be out on October 5, 2021. No one showed up on October 5, 2021 or called to state there would be a delay.Called another local plumbing company the afternoon of October 6, 2021 and that company successfully completed the repair the morning of October 7, 2021.

Service was fast and efficient. They were up front about repairs and possible costs but arranged for an actual quote. Only reason I didn’t give five stars today when I have in past is because the appt was in the morning but they didn’t get here til after lunch.

Talk about prompt...my a/c tech arrived early, explained everything very well, showed me what needed to be replaced and had our unit back to work for a decent cost.

Quoted me for thousands to fix my air conditioning after very little investigation. I got a 2nd opinion who tightened a nut where the freon was leaking and added $20 in freon. Air conditioner is fixed.

I’ve never used their services. I pulled into a gas station right behind one of their company vehicles, and I wasn’t able to park because the van pulled into the parking spot sideways and took up two spaces. He then got out of the van and proceddd to talk to a guy in the parking lot got 15 minutes with the vehicle running and the door open.

They were professional, quick and only did the work required without unnecessary additional fees or service.
