Arctic Air set me up with an appointment pretty quick to get my central heat looked. They were able to get me an appointment the day I called, and the technician came by and fixed the issue same day. It’s been cold lately, so I was very grateful for their awesome customer service! I have used this company several times, and so far I have not been disappointed.Thank you Arctic Air for being very reliable and courteous!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Arctic Air Conditioning and Heating, and I couldn’t be more impressed with their service. We had been dealing with a frustrating issue with our air conditioner for several weeks — it was blowing warm air, no matter how much we adjusted the settings. I decided to call Arctic Air, as my friends recommended them to me. Its my first time living in the Lubbock area, so I wasn’t sure of what company to go with. However, I’m very glad that I called the bear at Arctic Air! From the very first phone call, I knew I was in good hands.Melonie, who handled my call in the office, was outstanding. She was professional, friendly, and very clear in relaying all the necessary information about scheduling and service costs. She kept me updated throughout the process, which made everything feel seamless and worry-free.When the technicians, Chris and Weston, arrived at our home, I was immediately impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. They quickly diagnosed the issue, which turned out to be a refrigerant leak in the system, and explained the situation in a way that was easy to understand. They even showed me the area where the leak was located and gave me an honest assessment of what repairs were needed and the associated costs.What stood out the most was how thorough and respectful both Chris and Weston were throughout the repair process. They worked efficiently, but without cutting any corners. They took the time to ensure everything was properly sealed and tested before leaving. It was evident they both take great pride in their work.By the end of the visit, our air conditioner was working perfectly again, blowing cool air as it should. Antonio with Arctic Air was punctual, polite and went above and beyond. I wish all service could be this good. He offered to walk around to avoid stepping on carpet, swept up even though there was a minimal mess and was courteous and thoughtful. I was really blown away and called immediately to say how pleased we were. 10/10 would recommend.

Quick courteous scheduling to come out and get the furnace ready for winter. They were able to get there at 3:20 for a scheduled 3 pm appointment. Thats GREAT to me. They did a thorough exam, cleaning and furnace tuneup in a timely fashion. Im confident as long as I have power, I will have heat. 5 stars.

We had a great experience with Arctic yesterday. Our heat went out, and it was 40 degrees outside. They got to us quickly, and everyone we dealt with was kind, accommodating, and professional. From the first contact (super sweet receptionist) to the last, they made us feel like family. The service techs even complimented the smell of my dinner cooking in the crock pot. I highly recommend Arctic Air Conditioning & Heating!

Called to repair my central heating unit. The tech was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. He had to order a part, which he then installed when it came in. Ive used Arctic Air for several years and am always pleased with their service.

They were responsive, listened to our needs, provided reasonable (affordable) options, and quality service. We had to replace our entire HVAC system and they did a superb job. Definitely the best service!! The young lady that answers the phone (I am SOOOOO SORRY I cant remember your name... Im so bad with names) was always so professional anytime we called to bother her. Our heater went out right when all the cold air hit the first time, parts had to be ordered and there was a delay on delivering because of the weather. She kept apologizing, even when we told her it was ok and wasnt her fault! But sure enough as soon as the parts came in we were put on the schedule! For sure would recommend them to anyone! Thank yall so much for taking care of us!!

Been using Artic Air for years & both office staff and techs have always been courteous & professional. Recently decided it was time to have my 40yr old ducts looked at. They didnt just tell me what they saw; they showed me pics & video. They told me what I might consider & what wouldnt help. The next day, I heard from the project mgr who offered more options. I went with adding insulation and have been throughly pleased.Plus, they have not guaranteed results that may not be feasible. I feel like theyve always been upfront with whatever issue were looking at. Highly recommend!

This company has done work for us for years and are very thorough and very good. They also explain what they have done and give tips as to how to make your appliance last longer. I love their work.

They were awesome! Came and took care of us early Saturday morning. Very respectful and precise. Fixed our AC and had us back to feeling comfortable in lass that half an hour. Would definitely recommend their business to any family or friend.

I love this business. They installed my AC and Heating units years ago. They keep it all running with a check up.My only negative is not being able to SCHEDULE appointments for the heating and cooling check till October. As I get older I tend to forget, so I use my calendar. My docs schedule me 6 months to 1 year out.

Artic Air installed a new air conditioning unit several years ago and we have used them since to do our yearly inspections. Great Company with Friendly and efficient employees. I would recommend them to anyone.

The people yall have calling customers about the warranty are very aggressive and rude, Ive been called twice and texted its way to much. The threats stating my warranty will be voided if I dont get maintenance are crazy, my paperwork does not state that maintenance has to be done for warranty. I will call you if I need service otherwise this is pushing harassment.

Unfortunately, during the hottest week of the Summer, our AC went out. After just purchasing my home, I knew it was poorly maintained, but had tried to correct this and done all I knew to do.It was probably one of their busiest times and yet they were able to come out within 24 hours! Chris was the tech that came out and had our AC up and going in 30 min with some added helpful tips!Chris was so very careful to care for our home too! He had used our hose and put it back better than I had it which certainly I didn’t expect him too!

Great communication and service! Placed a service request through American Homeshield when our air conditioning stopped working and was assigned Arctic Air Conditioning. They quickly responded to let us know when a tech would be available and then completed the service promptly and professionally.

We were very happy from beginning to end of our service. The Compressor had to be replaced and we were told the replacement had to be ordered. It took a little time to get the replacement and the ladies in the office were so sympathetic and apologetic even though it was not their fault. As soon as it arrived the service men were at the house, polite, professional and got the job completed quickly. Highly recommend , you will not be sorry if you choose them.

Very good service. For a winter system check i thought $99.00 was a bit high considering it was less than 30 minutes. But having peace of mind I can deal with it.

Artic Aire got me in a day earlier than scheduled because of a cancelation.Shane explained me my options & after a few minutes I went out to him & asked him his professional opinion. He gave me several options & told me the office would call me. I spoke with Melanie who I give a perfect 10 score to for everything she did for me. She is on top of her job & makes you feel good about doing business with Artic Aire... The next day they sent of a installation crew. Chris & Caleb who were not only professional but made the experience of a total upgrade a decision I was glad to have made. I decided with Melanies help to go ahead & put a complete system in where my 91 3/4 year old mothers house which had gone completely out.The next morning again Chris in the installation dept & Xavier came to my Mothers house. Again I received an exceptional experience & was glad of my decision. I was recommended to call Artic by a client of mine, but I felt that the prices that were quoted to me were very unreasonable.I was told that if my unit had a leak and needed a certain type of refrigerant to put back into it, it would either cost me $3000 to fix or $10000 for a new unit.I didn’t feel like all the options I had were stated to me because when I got a second opinion from another company, they came out and checked it and told me that I did have a leak, but to fix it and place more refrigerant into the unit, it would only be $300.Of course, I went with the second company because I felt like they were being honest and that they had what I needed without over charging me for some type of inconvenience with my unit being 20+ years old.Artic has made me realize that you should never just go with the first place you call to get work done because that’s a huge difference between $3000 and $300 just to fix and put more refrigerant. It made me feel like the company thought I was a fool because one of my family members also called them and they made the same statement to her about what she needed done, yet we used the second company to get the work done and both our units are working properly again.I would not be recommending this place to anyone I know because there are more affordable companies that will provide the same service for an affordable rate.

I was given a basic time frame for service, received a call letting me know when the tf unicorn was on the way and they were promptly there after that call. The technician took care of my issue quickly and he provided me with pointers on how to avoid the same issue in the future.

My home warranty sent Arctic out to fix my A/C. They were here less than 20 minutes and left without diagnosing the issue. Then, they closed the ticket with my warranty stating my well functioning 10 yr old a/c did not have adequate return air. When I spoke to the office they finally agreed to send someone back out to actually find a resolution. They found a bad coil this time and assured me the warranty would certainly cover, and they would call me in the morning with more info. That was 4 days ago. The warranty site shows the claim was denied based on the explanation from the technician updated the morning after the tech left. Arctic hasn’t called or made any contact as promised to give me a quote or report the warranty conclusion and they chose to report a cause that they can’t prove caused the issue but they know it would deny my claim. Everyone was friendly and professional when I did interact with them.

I have been meaning to get on here since last summer and talk about how wonderful Artic Air was to our family. From the initial call all the way to the end product the experience was great. Working with their experts made it a lot less painful to write a big’ol check to have our AC fixed. It’s been over a year and we haven’t had to call them back, but if we needed they would be our very first choice. Caring, professional, kind and clean. 100% recommend Arctic Air

The last two techs have been great! When I have questions, the techs will answer and show me what to look for when explaining things. A part had to be ordered, and they could install it the same day the part came in. Sylvia, the person I have talked with at the office, has always been kind and professional. I even had to call and ask her to let the tech know my husband was on the way. The tech arrived earlier than expected, and they were understanding of this. I highly recommend this place.

The service technicians arrived at my house and had the AC back on in a matter of minutes. I recently purchased this house, and thought I should have the HVAC system serviced, which was performed by another local company. This other company was less than stellar to say the least. However, the Artic Air techs found the issue, ironically, caused by the other company, almost immediately. After fixing the issue, the techs were patient and informative with my many questions regarding replacing the whole HVAC system. It was almost 5:00, but these guys made me feel like they had all the time in the world for me. Artic Air is the only heating/cooling company I have in my phone now!

Arctic Air scams you with tactic of no parts available and you have to wait 14 days unless you buy one of there new units. I have checked availability and parts are in Lubbock and available. They have done this several times with my home warranty company. Same scam over and over. No not use this company.

Arctic was sent for a home warranty repair. They were very prompt and friendly, although my thermostat still has split wires that may be touching so it is unknown if the problem is resolved as it was intermittent in the first place.There are still unshielded wires instead of wire replacement, which may have been a safer solution. I was also hoping to get some assistance with my vents howling and rattling, but was told it couldn’t be resolved.

Arctic Air is one of the best out there!!! They are prompt to get you scheduled and everyone from the office staff to the guys that come out to work on your unit are courteous, efficient, clean, and will get your ac up and going as quick as they can!!!!I highly recommend Arctic Air!!!!!

In 20+ years of hiring Arctic Air my experience has always been a good one. They arrive on time, the employees are always friendly and accommodating and finish the job within a reasonable amount of time.

Shane was friendly and professional. He diagnosed the problem quickly and replace the defective capacitor and got the AC system working again.

Terrible customer service. Ive been trying to get answers and a technician scheduled since Friday and today they just said theyll give me a call 30 minutes before they come out. Didnt take into account the fact that both my wife and I work and one of us has to take time off to be here, so 30 minutes isnt enough time for a heads up. They couldnt even tell me a general time of day when they might be by, so I would have to either take the full day off hoping they show up, or inconvenience everyone at my work when I get called with their 30 minute heads up. Until they can figure out how to work with the customer, I wont be using them ever again.

Service technicians took care of my units maintenance in a timely manner and were professional.

Shane quickly figured saw why our AC was out, fixed it, double checked the unit and all is good to go. They have been super busy with the 100+ temps, but everyone I spoke with was awesome!

Upon receiving my work order through American Home Shield on Wednesday, Sylvia contacted me and asked what the issue was. She was very kind and respectful. After explaining the situation, she informed me that a technician would be dispatched by Friday.As soon as Shane arrived, he displayed a high level of knowledge and expertise. Upon my request, he repaired the issue I was experiencing and even installed a digital thermostat. (Something I had been meaning to do for some time). Arctic Air Conditioning & Heating exceeded my expectations in terms of professionalism and respect throughout the entire process.5 stars all the way!

My A/C quit working around 8pm on Friday night. Temps had hit 100 degrees at one point during the day, so it was a very warm evening. I put in the service request to my home warranty company and tried to not be too anxious over not being able to do my own research and select my own company. Turns out, I didnt need to worry, they selected a great contractor. I received a call at 830 Saturday morning and the technician was here by 1030. He knew exactly what to check and got it fixed in less than 10 minutes. So grateful for their speedy and professional service! I was prepared to have to wait till Monday, but they got me taken care of very quickly. He answered all of my questions with professionalism and patience. Made sure I understood what he fixed. Very happy with their service and would love to work with them again.

The technician identified the problem immediately and advised us as to what to do. He returned a short time later to diagnose the problem and all was resolved. We had a frozen unit because we did not change filters often. Live and learn! Change filters and your unit should function beautifully like ours is doing now! I have used this company twice in the last 3 years, both on my heating system. The first was just a minor tune-up, but the second was a replacement issue for an A/C-heater fan that was wearing out after only seven years, by a very reputable manufacturer. Ugh! The result was the replacement fan was nowhere to be found and the factory said a new part would be available in 2-6 weeks. This was unacceptable and Arctic Air even admitted they couldnt guarantee it wouldnt take longer based on recent transactions with this factory.We elected to purchase a new A/C Heating System rather than take chances with a company who has become unreliable.All of the people at Arctic Air have been amazingly easy to work with, from Sylvia at the front desk who was always aware of the status of our problem, to all of the technicians who first assessed the problem, and completed the installation in a very timely and professional manner, to Melanie who worked tirelessly to find all possibilities and finally the correct arrangement for us, then to have it installed completely in one day after we made the decision. Everyone there is very professional, courteous and extremely caring. Its no wonder they have been voted Best of the West and have an A+ rating with the BBB. I highly recommend this company for your A/C and Heating requirements.

Excellent experience - fast same day service, Shane the technician very courteous and knowledgeable, price was very good. Quoted price before work began. Definitely will use them again. I have had a hard time getting a good and reliable ac service company that can respond quickly and do the job correctly without up selling or charging exorbitant amounts.I called them 7:30AM for malfunctioning furnace, Shane arrived at noon. Called in advance and arrived as promised. I described to him the symptoms and without looking at the unit he already knew it was most likely a dirty flame sensor. And it was. He knew the equipment very well, I have a 10 year old Amana unit, and he solved the problem in 15 minutes.I did sign up for their semi- annual maintenance plan and he credited the service charge toward the cost of the plan. He did not up sell me on it I asked him about maintenance and he made me a good offer.I have had plenty of bad experience with other contractors before, including some who wanted to up sell me on a bunch of stuff I did not need.

Anyone contemplating air/furnace repair Artic Air is the company to contact. My AC needed repairs. Melonie was professional and straight forward. She was very patient with all my questions. The gentleman repaired my AC was conscientious and respectful of my home. From my phone call with Melonie to the completion of the repairs I give a 5 star rating. The employees of Artic Air are knowledgeable, trustworthy, reliable, and respectful.

Have had them come out three times for the same issue with my ac within a month. Have a warranty and they take 2-3 days to get to my workorder. The first technician only looked at the outside unit and never even looked at the inside unit. He then had to come back again 2 days later as my a/c was not cooling. Something is clearly wrong with my a/c as it keeps blowing out LP&l transformers.**Updated** Was upset when posted previous review, but working w/Melonie and trying to figure out our best option. She has been understanding and this last technician that came it was very knowledgeable.Still waiting on a call back.

I called Arctic Air when my heater went out and spoke to Melanie and she arranged for Shane (service technician) to come out and take a look at our heater. I was very impressed with how fast they were able to be at my house to come take a look. They ordered the parts they needed to fix my heater and came back out that day to install it. Their prices are very reasonable and they have excellent service. If I have any other problems I will always be calling Arctic Air.

Arctic Air is great! Being that we live out of Lubbock city limits, it’s hard to find any company that will travel to us and even harder to find someone that does quality work at a great cost too. They installed a new AC and furnace for us 3 years ago and even now are still happy to help if we call for any questions or concerns. Any service calls have always been handled very quickly and very professionally and they’ve always done quality work. I definitely recommend them!

Melanie is the absolute best! She worked me into the schedule as soon as she could when my AC died this past Friday. They whole bunch has worked so that my old unit will be replaced tomorrow before the next round of 100 plus heat! Highly recommend them. I have my own A/C company but my Daughter lives in Lubbock. I live in the Austin area. I called Artic Air and they QUICKLY helped my daughter. They did not do the typical upscale B.S. They were Profesional, responsive and fairly priced. I would encourage everyone to use their services!!

AHS Warranty Co. dispatched Artic for our A/C repair. A/C went down the previous night. Spoke with Melanie the next morning, and due to recent storms, they were booked for the next few days. However, she said if she could manage to squeeze me in earlier, she would. She called right before lunch to notify me a tech was in route. Shane showed up and got our A/C back up and running. He was courteous, professional, and cleaned up after himself. Excellent service, thanks Melanie and Shane!

I used them as a 2nd opinion, not knowing they had a promo for free 2nd opinions (totally my fault). Shane came out and did a very thorough inspection of my system, he showed me evidence of my leak and we talked options. I decided to consider a new system, spoke to Stacy and he was straight forward with about it all and had me a quote when he said he would at noon Monday. 24hrs later I had a full system installed! Drew and Mark did an outstanding job with the installation! Dont hesitate to give these guys a shout!

They came out a couple days before the scheduled appointment and fixed my AC that day. It was still under warranty so I didn’t get charged a dime! Great company!

After reading these reviews, I feel that Artic Air may not be okay he best for warranty work. I have been in my house for a little over two years however the technician saw that the coil was dirty and labeled it routine maintenance on the report, stating at the job site that AHS would not cover it. He did mention replacing some other minor stuff and mentioned my refrigerant was low. Nothing about a leak or anything. As soon as it looked like homeowner error, I feel they took the chance to not perform any more diagnostic treatment and automatically started selling me on a cleaning. I will be reporting this to AHS and providing negative reviews regards to warranty work to get them to reopen my ticket with another company. From the looks of the reviews, if you pay out of pocket they treat you like family! Good luck!

The original appointment was very timely and the needed parts were located and promptly ordered. I was kept aware by Arctic of the progress of the order and promptly called when they came in. The technician was back out within about 30 minutes and replaced the part. He was very personable and informative. I will use Arctic again.

My AC went out on a Sunday evening. I turned my claim into American Home Shield that same evening and before I even left for work on Monday Arctic Air was calling to schedule a service technician to come out that day. It was determined that I needed a complete new indoor/outdoor unit. They got back with me on Tuesday morning to discuss options. After deciding what I wanted to do I was advised that they could come out on Friday to install the unit. This was the hottest week of June with temps over 100 degrees and with no AC it was very warm in my house. To my surprise Melanie called me on Thursday morning and said she was trying to fit me in that day so I wouldn’t have to wait until Friday. I was completely shocked that she cared enough to get my new unit installed a day early. Melanie and Arctic Air are the BEST. I would highly recommend them to anyone with HVAC needs.

Did a claim through my warranty, American Homeshield, due to air not coming out of the vents even though the unit was running. Had two technicians come out and ended up needing to replace the capacitor and fix the problem within 30 mins!

The staff at Arctic air were fantastic. My AC going out before summer has been one of my biggest concerns, but after contacting Arctic they really made this process extremely easy. Got my HVAC replaced with them Jan 2020. Price was the best out of the 7 companies I got quotes from. Install techs seemed knowledgeable and efficient. Got a 10 year parts & labor warranty. Yet to use it but will update my review if I ever do based off how easy or difficult that process is. All in all pretty pleased thus far. Thanks.

Called Arctic Air in the morning they showed up within an hour. Diagnosed the problem with my unit and gave me a quote for the repairs. They Completed the work the same day. The owner gave me free advice on how to keep my older unit up and running instead of trying to make a sell on a new one. We have had two occasions to use this company- a year apart, both times they were super. From the initial phone call, to the sales & service. We had another company come out first and the service person did not even enter our house- just said we needed a new fan on the outside unit- $400.00. We paid and still zero air.Anartic came out tested & checked everything, we needed a entire new unit. It was installed that day. The 2nd visit was this year. Again addressed the issue and even called to come earlier due to a cancellation. This company is terrific!!

We have had to use this company multiple times this summer to fix our AC. We can only use them because they fix they are contracted by our home warranty. We have had to request their service multiple times to fix our AC, and our AC never seems to work for than a couple weeks before it breaks down again. It is apparent this company just takes the money from our home warranty without appropriately fixing our AC issue. I recommend you find a different company to resolve your HVAC issue so it can be resolved the first time.

My A/C stopped cooling the house, so I called my home warranty company, American Home Shield. They assigned Arctic Air to look at the unit. I called them directly to set up the appointment and was told by the operator that I would be called back in a few minutes. After waiting 30 minutes, I called again. “He’ll call you in just a few!”. Well, okay. I wait thirty minutes, and call again. Still no word. SIX phone calls later, the phone operator let me know she would be contacting the manager, who would call shortly. Okay. I wait ANOTHER 30 minutes, no call. So I call back. Three hours have passed now, since my original phone call. I was told by the phone operator that Melonie (the manager) had attempted to call me and received no answer, resulting in her leaving a voicemail. That’s odd, because I had my phone on and with me all day, and had made and received several calls during that time...none of which included talking to Melonie. I had no voicemails on my phone. SO, after three hours playing phone tag, here’s the result: I NEVER spoke to ANYONE but the two phone operators who had no information, no one came to service my unit, I was LIED to by the manager, and it is 87 degrees in my house. I contacted my home warranty company, got refunded and set up with another company. This is not the first bad experience I have had with Arctic Air. I have had them removed from my warranty contract. 0/10 DO NOT USE! terrible customer service, and a dishonest business.

American Home Shield sent them out and the guy said our unit needed to be replaced due to a leak. Tried selling a new unit and told me the owner won’t charge the unit due to the price of Freon. He went ahead and changed the capacitors and didn’t check to see if it worked afterwards. Well it didn’t work. Called them back cuz the compressor wasn’t kicking on and we got told they were not going to work on it because AHS wasn’t paying them enough. So we called AHS back and they did a recall. Different tech came out, first tech locked up the compressor and he told me he hasn’t seen a unit like this. Well today they CLOSED the ticket once again by saying that they couldn’t work on it because our house isn’t on a concrete pad. We are going 3 weeks with no AC when it should’ve been replaced 2 weeks ago. Pure laziness and worthless. They obviously don’t need to be working with home warranty companies. I do work with AHS on a daily basis, so this will get to them that this company is worthless. Will be giving a 1 star review on AHS for this business as well. Yes, this company might be number 1 with home warranties, but all their bad reviews are from people that have home warranties. Says enough for me and hopefully others. If you have a home warranty and they dispatch your call to Artic, Please use anybody but this company.

Shane was absolutely amazing! He looked at the unit and within 10 mins hed fixed the problem. No upsale, no pushiness and he was kind. We definitely recommend this company!

I just want to say Artic Air has been serving my unit for years. I appreciate Slyvia for working me in so quickly after getting my ticket order. The guys come and evaluate what the issue is. If they have the part on their truck. The get me up and going. If they dont have the part it only take a day to get it and come back out to finish the job. If any one need any Hvac work done Artic Air is the place. From the workers inside to the workers outside. Give them a try you want regret it.😉

I did not pick Arctic Air, my home warranty company did. I have had some real jerks come onto my property before from other companies, but Arctic Air was completely professional and had no problem explaining to me what they were doing.Our AC went out in the middle of the COVID-19 crisis and I feel so fortunate that they stayed in business for all of us! Unfortunately, the suppliers didnt feel the same way and they were unable to get the parts needed at first. But thats not their fault, and they did get them a lot quicker than I thought! I dont know how they did it with businesses still being shut down as I type this, but that should be proof enough that they will go the extra mile for you. Even if you arent the one paying, a warranty company is! Thats impressive!

Wonderful service! Arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem, and then replaced our thermostat. Even adjusted the dampers on our vents to help us manage the temperature in a room at the far end of the house. Thank you!

Arctic Air inspects my heating/cooling unit once a year. If theres a problem, they let me know so I can take care of it or have them take care of it. If I experience a problem, they always respond quickly -- many times the same day I call them. Recently, my 23 year-old unit developed a leak and lost all of the Freon. The technician explained the problem and the cost to repair and cost to replace. We chose to replace the unit. We thought wed have to wait for them to get a unit in -- but they arranged for an electrician to come out and make necessary changes and brought our new unit out and installed that same day! Theres a reason why Arctic Air Conditioning wins awards including Best of Lubbock and Best of the West among others year after year. The service is excellent, they respond quickly and do an excellent job. They get my vote every year!

I called our warranty provider on our upstairs AC going out and they sent the info to Arctic Air, by far the best thing that could have happened. I was called in about 10 mins by Arctic Air and they had a guy there within 30 mins. Unit is 20 years old and was on its last leg, I was presented with several options on repair or replace, I wanted it replaced and that’s when Mel takes over. She is absolutely fantastic to work with and she works fast, unit was replaced in 24 hrs. Melonie made it so easy with great details and easy to understand financing options that it was a no brainer. Heck Mel and Arctic Air was so great that I also replaced a downstairs AC unit as well. If your not using Arctic Air and Mel you are missing out, they will always have my business!!

Fast talkers. Shane was on site for a simple 2 year checkup like I always do on an already perfectly running system. Within 15 minutes he said my coils had a leak and wanted to replace the whole system. Second opinion 2 days later checked thoroughly and did not find any leakage and recharged less than 1lb. Watch out.

Our new-to-us 74 year old home’s air conditioning failed at the beginning of spring. I called Arctic and they sent someone out the same day. Unfortunately it turned we needed a new unit; they handled the home warranty claim, scheduled and installed a brand new 4-ton unit within 24 hours — we had cool air in time for the weekend. Their office staff is very friendly and professional, their technicians cared for the property as if it were their own. 5 * and will use them again.

Only took one call and arctic came out to replace an a/c unit in my uncles apartment. He is 84 returning from a long hospital stay. They called immediately to set up an appointment and were there when they said they would be. Shane, their technician, was prompt, friendly and very efficient, and had the problem fixed in no time. Usually never do this. Called for an appointment one week ago. Finally took a phone call to get a time they would arrive. Had my secretary come in early, they showed up late. Once tech arrived, he asked secretary what problem was.From that point forward, Tech never said a word. Ultimately I went to see how it was going and found he was gone. Again, not a word. Waited 2 hours thinking he would be back. Finally I called and told their secretary what happened. She could not of cared less. Told her to cancel the service and she said “no problem”. If my employees had this attitude I would fire them.I understand this time of year is hectic for AC companies, but if you don’t want the business.. just tell me. Someone else will. I proved that by calling another company, who scheduled an appointment tomorrow.

When my heater stopped working during one of the coldest times of the year, Artic Air answered the call. Melanie Reed provided excellent service and dispatched a repairman to my house within an hour. This company never called me back after I asked them to correct the invoice that was sent to American Home Shield to get properly reimbursed for the problem that they diagnosed. Then they changed the diagnosis. Extremely upset with their unprofessionalism and lack of integrity.

I will forever only use Artic Heating and Air! When my heater and ac when out, they came out immediately and diagnosed the situation. Unfortunately the system was 38 years old and needed to be replaced. They not only made me feel comfortable about the purchase of a whole new system but installed it that very same day! Came, saw the problem, quickly fixed the the problem professionally. Very courteous and honest with the problem and price. Very satisfied and happy. Will definitely call them again for not just problems but maintenance as well. Finally found a good company from first phone call to end of the job.

They installed an A/C & furnace less than 2 years ago and yesterday the A/C stopped cooling. I called Arctic Air this morning and spoke with a very unprofessional female employee who seemed irritated and inconvenienced that it was a warranty/service call. She advised that I would have to wait until tomorrow before a technician could respond. I called Lowery and their technician found that it was a faulty capacitor. I called Arctic Air again, same employee, and explained the issue. This time she claimed that a technician could respond this afternoon and they would not honor the warranty because another company did the repair. The Arctic Air technicians are friendly and fast but their customer care is not. Sad, sad, sad.....

My home insurance sent out shane, All of a sudden became a car sales men trying to sale me a new unit n finance with them.Once was done. With unit still does not work after 4 days after artic coming out. Left me with a non working unit still and what he did had nothing to do with the trouble call. I called office of artic air n a gentleman called me back and gave me some store. I explained to him i have disabled child and needed this item fixed plus called them out to fix. He called the insurance they called me told me 3 different stories from artic air. Also told me my home owners would noy cover a new unit or items needed for my home. After talking with my insurance they do and so upset with Artic Air wrong information.So i called someone else they came in went to unit n found the problem within minutes. Was not the dirty it need to cut holes in my walls n pay them 350.00.It was the brain of the unit to keep us safe n warm.So yeah i did not ask for dishonest and unit not be fixed and out my copay for nothing.So yeah from office And workers. Artic Air very unprofessional. And dishonest to hard working home owners that expect honest and quality to Our Homes is a MUST.I have never did a review but after this situation and reading other peoples reviews of this company n same issues n negative feed back its important we read and write our reviews always.No i would not recommend this company because i dont want anyone else to go through what we have. Shane, the tech for Arctic Air got to the house at the time they said he would. He looked at the problem, went to his truck and actually had the replacement part!! He cleaned up after he finished the repair and offer some tips to keep it from happening again. And special thanks to Melonie for juggling the schedule to get Shane the time to come by and repair this major issue. Great company!!

Horrible experience. Called home warranty for a bad blower motor in a/c unit. Sent out these crooks. The tech Shane says oh no you dont know, its just a little part here and all good. I knew better. So he leaves us without cold air with 100 degree days. All they want to do is replace coils or the entire unit. In the end we were without A/C for 7 days. I replaced the blower motor MYSELF!!! And after not one but two 2nd opinions later, nothing else was required but the blower motor. Way to go Shane!!! Look out for Mike the car salesman!!! He is a fast talker and just wants to sell you a new unit, he loves the word Cadillac. I asked for my $65 service fee back that Shane collected for doing nothing but leaving us in the heat. You can guess...I am still waiting. Thank goodness I fixed it myself.They did not even offer to get it semi repaired so my family could have some kind of relief. No humanity.DO NOT CALL THE BEAR!!!!

ARTIC AIR is one of the best, they always come right away and fix theproblem. They replaced both my central units and I have been very happy.

My heater went out and although it could be repaired the unit was from 1988 so we decided to replace it and the AC unit as well as it was almost 15 years old and not in the best shape. Arctic Air showed me options and helped with financing. I have found my permanent HVAC company for sure! Prompt and professional at all times, along with punctual.

Arctic air came over on a Saturday when our air conditioning in the house failed. Not only that, but the service was contacted through our home warranty. The gentleman that came over was courteous and professional and quickly solved our problem.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANYCreated a profile just to review this company. My home warranty chose them because my ac unit finally went out. The contractor came out and said it just needed to be repaired and needed freon. The unit is 36 years old and the freon would have cost over $500. Freon is excluded from most home warranties and they know this. Just a terrible company trying to take advantage of people.If your home warranty company requires that you go through them, get a second opinion because this place is trash.

I set an appointment for a Friday. I never received a call, I called Friday evening to check, and they said they would give me a call back. I never received a call back. I called Monday and they said they would come out, the never showed up and never called back. I called today( the following Thursday) and Melanie lied and said she spoke to me, that she couldn’t help because they didn’t have time. You lost a customer, don’t treat me like garbage.

They are horrible. bought a new air conditioning unit and system continually leaked around the coils up in the attic, had ceiling damage, had other issues with property damage. and they would not take any responsibility at all. I had to call another heating and air company to come in and fix the problem, and fix the ceiling on my own. Take my advice and stay as far away from these folks as you can, plenty of other choices in Lubbock.

I regret not reading reviews of arctic air. We bought a central air system. It turns out that the a/c was not properly installed so it was pumping air into our garage creating a moldy situation. We luckily signed up with a seasonal check with AireServ who caught the problem. Dont do business with them! We have a warranty but we will not let them in our house again!

Service man came on a holiday. He got my heater working , but said I needed a newboard. Someone from Artic Air called on Monday and said the part had been ordered. Later in the week a repairman came and installed the new board!

Stay away, bad business, this company tried to sell me a whole new ac unit when my coil was leaking and told me my home warranty refused the basic repair which was a lie. Their estimate after the home warrenty company made them quote the repair was the highest. I Had 4 other companys quote the work and without the warrenty the 4 other companies were cheaper.

I know the owner personally and have entrusted Arctic air with my business for a long time. After reading a couple of the ugly reviews I decided to put in my two cents...I had the opportunity to visit with the owner and some of these comments are completely inaccurate... especially with regard to his being racist. I am Hispanic and female and I have found him to be nothing less than a complete gentleman each and every time I have spoken with him.

Arctic Air helped get us financed on a new heating and cooling system after we tried with two other companies. They also gave us a 10 year parts and labor warranty with the equipment we bought! They did the job in half a day!

They are terrible our ac froze up the first visit all they did was see a dirty filter said it just needed a filter and it was also really wet. Happened again. Next visit they came out said our coils out side were dirty and charged 375 for just one coil. It started to work again and they said the ac pressure in the lines were good. Our ac would not blow air for 5 days straight we decided to pay the 375 and get the coil cleaned. Went on a head and cleaned it still didnt work they checked the ac lines and they were dramatically low. The guy beefed up the lines I asked so when will yall diag the leak he said there is no leak which to me is a lie because they never fully diagnosed my ac ever. They dont tell you everything they leave out major things that as the home owner you should know. They said they didnt check the ac over because the readings would be faulty ok fine but why would they lie saying the pressure is ok. Next it took a very long time for our house to cool down. It finall got cooled down but i got told it would take 3 hours then 6 hours then 12 hours. Who am I suppose to believe it took 4 hours to go down 1 degree. So my wife called them to get some answers she gets into it with the HEAD MANAGER and he cussed her out. This company is very poorly staffed. Do not properly do their job. Do not tell you everything that as a home owner we should NEED to know. And their manager lost is and told my wife to stop B*&^%ing multiple times basically calling her that name. I will never use them again and will not ever reccomend this terrible company. They want to come back out to check up on it but I am now taking my business else where.

Absolutely terrible. Poor customer service, not adequately knowledgeable are sent out. This is my second dealing with them through my home warranty, and both times after getting second opinions, discovered they have had no completely idea what they are talking about. Highly recommend anyone but them.

I have used this co 3 times. Have been pleased with service each time. They are on time, friendly, courteous and do a good job.

Did not do a full evaluation on my equipment and told my warranty the compressor was out do to not normal wear and tear but the company that gave a 2nd opinion aure did not believe that and installed a new one.

Our technician was extremely knowledgeable and professional!

They installed a new inside and out side u ites for us about 4 years ago and we have had nothing but problems with it, every summer it quited working and they have blam eww d use several times , know it has been down for almost two weeks and they keep telling us that they are waiting for the part .we asked them why they dont just replace the unit we have the replacement wiring,would not ever recomend them to anyone...

Definitely fast talkers and just want to sell you a whole unit when something minor is wrong. As previous reviews state... stay away!!! Mike is definitely a car salesman

I have used Arctic Air for years now. They are absolutely the BEST at what they do! The people are so easy to work with and they explain everything!

I just had arctic air out to my house and the fixed my air conditioner after 3 other companies looked at it and could not figure out what was wrong. I see why they just won the best of luboock and the AJ. thank you arctic air.

They came out quickly and told us our unit was frozen up and that they would be back the next day because they shut off our conditioner and told us not to turn it back on till they came back and then we never heard a thing
