I wish I could give them 50 stars. This is one of the greatest companies I have done business with in a long time. I had been fighting with my home warranty service for over 2 weeks and getting no where and might I add we had been without A/C this entire time and this was 2 weeks ago when temperatures everyday were over a 105 degrees. I called Ben Maines at about 4:00 pm one day and they had a tech out the very next day and the tech was amazing and did a great job finding the problem we decided to have a new outside unit set over replacing the compressor because of cost within a couple of days they had the A/C working. I would like to thank Glenn for finding yhe problem and Travis and Dakota for the install these guys are AMAZING very professional, kind and very understanding and they when they tell you they will be there and give you a time you know without a doubt thats when they will be here. And they do great work and they also clean up after themselves. Thank you so much Ben Maines and your staff.

We had our air conditioner replaced in our home recently. We had not been pleased with the service of our prior A/C company of 23 years. We called Ben Maines, and couldn’t have been more pleased. The installers were on time, professional and courteous. They cleaned up so well when they finished that you couldn’t tell that they had been there. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs A/C or Heating service!

Absolutely spectacular! I first called the company on Friday afternoon. They let me know that I could save money by having the repair done during the work-week instead of the weekend, so it was nice to see that upfront honesty instead of them trying to squeeze every dollar out of me. When the technician arrived on Monday, he was very knowledgeable and experienced, and was able to identify the problem with my A/C system very quickly. Within just a few minutes he had corrected the issue as well as checked the other components of the system to make sure everything else was working correctly. I was pleased with the promptness of the service, the quality of work, and it was great all-around. Ill call these folks up next time I need HVAC service, for sure!

Terrific service and same day! Called several companies for a weekend service after noticing our outside unit had an issue. Most companies were either booked up or had a crazy charge for the weekend. Called Ben Maines because they service my building at work and it was great from the phone call to the completed job. Alex came out to our home in Lindale from Longview and had great customer service skills and was able to diagnose the issue and go out of his way to source a part for us he didn’t have. He also replaced another component and did a tune up as part of the service for free. Wonderful service on the weekend and while I wasn’t home so that my wife and two girls could have A/C again. They responded very quickly to our request and were able to come out the same day. They counseled us on the best options so we wouldnt spend money unnecessarily. These guys have provided us with a decade of consistent FIVE STAR SERVICE!! We had an old hvac unit that was limping along and they kept it running when we couldnt afford to replace it and got a brand new energy efficient unit when we could. Every interaction with them has been incredible from the schedulers to the techs to the installers. I can not say enough good about this company or their people. If you need hvac service from people who actually care, give them a call!

Yesterday my a/c quit working late morning on what was going to be a very hot day. Ive been in Longview for less than 2 years so I didnt know who to call. Ben Maines did the installation according to the sticker on the outside unit. I quickly checked reviews and found them very highly rated so I gave them a call.I expected to have to wait at least a day for service but I was told someone was returning to the office and theyd have them stop by to have a look. Less than a half hour later the serviceman arrived. It only took a moment to determine the cause. He replaced the capacitor on the motor, did some clean up and was done and I had cool air again.Very professional and friendly service man and a very fair price. Based on my experience I highly recommend them.

I have been using Ben Maines business for a long time. Daniel was the technician that repaired my air conditioner. He was very nice and explained things well. I felt the price was steep but being cool is VERY important to me.

I called Ben Maines after hours because my daughters a/c quit. I told them she had three children five and under and could l get some help. Within ten minutes Mark called and l told him my needs. Amazing customer service! They got to me quickly and I had the best technician I have ever had in any repair services. So Ben Maines Air Conditioning is simply great! Mark, the guy who repaired our furnace was thorough, did a great job keeping us posted while waiting for parts and was quick. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

I really appreciated how quickly they were able to send someone out to evaluate the problem. We did end up having to buy a new unit and they provided us with a quote quickly. They even provided us with 2 window units to get us by till the install. Which is amazing in Texas in 90 plus degree heat. Would recommend and use them again!

The state that I moved from experiences earthquakes, and we had a very strict building code to build by, all trades included. As an inspector my job was to enforce theses codes. So, with regard to my own personal experience I would say this; I could take the average homeowner and show them 20-30 details done with my install that they would never even know to look for. Well, I do, and Im telling you that Ben Maines Air Conditioning did as good a job, with all the attention to details, as Ive ever seen in my career. Halfway through day one of the install I completely forgot about the cost, because I could tell what I was getting. So take it from a former expert witness, you can trust these guys, you have my word!

Our A/C went out. I called Ben Maines and they had a technician at my house within 15 minutes! Daniel was extremely professional and explained what he was doing throughout the process. He had our unit up and running in about an hours time. He was awesome.

I had them replace my entire heating and cooling system that was 6 years ago. The system works great and cut my electric bill in half. A rep called this morning about 7:25 and set a time for the service technician (Daniel) to check out our unit around 9:30 am. Daniel arrived at 9:20 fixed the problem in just under an hour. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable are some of the positive words I can use for the employees at Ben Maine’s that have served us for over 20 years. After running errands, I came home to a hot house at 4pm on Friday of Labor Day weekend! We had issues with our AC not coming on, called and the technician arrived within half an hour! Everything was checked and maintenance was performed cleanly and efficiently. My most recent experience with Ben Maines AC was last week when Daniel came to do the annual winter maintenance service on my HVAC. He arrived on time and did the required adjustments and checks on both the inside and outside units. The only thing required was to change the filter. Otherwise, everything checked out okay. Daniel was very efficient and knowledgeable. Ive been very pleased with the system and the service.

They are always professional. Prompt and call when they are on the way. Glen always takes good care of us. I never worry about problems with the ac or heat. Also I never have to remember to buy filters because they bring them to my home. I love this company.

The office worker was very pleasant and seem willing to help with my problem. The service man came the same day that I called and was there within minutes after I received that call that he was on his way. He detected it as a maintenance problem and suggested to us how to avoid the problem in the future. I thought the service charge was expensive but the correction of the problem was reasonable.

Every technician I have had work on my system is knowledgeable, professional, and punctual. I called them after receiving a quote from a competitor that I needed to replace my entire AC system for $12K. Their staff understand all the variables that go in to repairing/replacing equipment and explain the options to you. I eventually got my system replaced with them for $6K that was an upgrade from my existing but wasnt throwing money away. I have been nothing but impressed since my first dealings with them.

The service said Carl was on call and would contact me soon.Within five minutes he had called. Thirty minutes later he was here. Subsequently he diagnosed the problem. He was back at 8:30 this morning with the part. Air conditioner was leaking water. Called around 8 am and repairman arrived before noon. In approximately 1 hour, my A/C was no longer leaking and my house was cooling down. Very professional service and very reasonable price.

They were quick to respond and were able to see me the same day (although that may not always be the case depending on how busy they are). I wasn’t home the time but my wife said the repairman was friendly and professional.

Ben Maines Air Conditioning was very responsive when I called and sent a technician that afternoon. We had water coming out a light fixture in a ceiling and they found the issue and corrected it. The technician stayed and ran several tests to insure the leak was stopped. We signed up for semi annual service on all our units.

The Ben Maine’s service tech arrived in 5 minutes and completed the repair quickly. They the best HVAC group I’ve ever used. I highly recommend them.

Had them come out today for my ac not working. Being a Friday and I had to start work at 2pm I felt hopeless to get on the schedule. I told them my work schedule and they said they would see what they could do. An hour after calling (11am) I get a call saying John is available and on his way. When he arrived, he diagnosed the problem in 10 minutes then showed me and explained the cost breakdown(I’m tech savvy so it all made sense). I gave him the green light and within the hour my ac was back to working again along with some care tips from John on how to prevent more expenses down the road. Honest business with fair pricing. A+++++

I like that this company can usually help out pretty quickly. My ac unit was freezing up which is usually an indication of low coolant. Of course it was low and this means there is a leak somewhere. Daniel wasn’t too annoyed with me watching what he was doing and asking some questions. I really appreciate that.

Not recommended at all. They installed our systems and one of their techs told me the reason we have to keep calling them out here every 3 to 6 months for freon was because there is trash in the lines that should have been removed when units were installed. Really? Then they always say thermostat is bad to tack on extra costs. They may fix your problem but it wont be cheap and youll pay for things not needed. Do not trust these people period! We had plenty of experience with them and they will RIP you off.

I am on a twice yearly mantenance pace for heat and AC. i really appeciate how preventitive maintence helps me avoid large unexpected repairs. The former owners of my home also used BEN MAINES, the technicians knew the history of my mechanical systems and I felt more confidence in the on going care of them. Definitely a big plus when purchasing a home!

John came Friday to service A/C. He cleaned out the inside air handler and the outside unit. The inside was pretty clean but the outside fan blades, etc were very dirty. He noted the outside motor was showing some wear but could not predict any future wear. He said I should get improved cooling from the maintenance he performed.

Awesome response time 40mins from first call to tech arriving, the tec performed admirably and found problem very quickly and replaced a broken / blown part within the condenser unit, will recommend there services if I could give a 10 star I would they are very polite on phone and tec knew his job. I called on the weekend because my AC went out. The Technician said it was a bad capacitor. He replaced it, AC didnt come on. He did some checking said its missing a leg in the circuit. Said he couldnt fix it. I would have to call an electrician. Charged me 330 dollars. And my AC still doesnt work. Not happy.
