Alco Air is amazing!!! They responded immediately and we scheduled a same day appointment.The needed part was ordered. Our repair was fixed in a timely manner.. to be exact the next business day. Just in time for the cold front. We appreciate Alco Air’s sense of urgency and commitment to customer satisfaction!! A special thanks to the receptionist. She was extremely kind and funny and her reassurance brought calm to my spirit immediately. THANK YOU!! 😊

Alco was recommended to me when I needed an HVAC tune up and I can see why they were recommended! The appointment was easy to book online and they service a large area of East Texas.Justin was assigned to my request and arrived early, listened to my concerns, provided efficient work, and explained the work completed. Plus the tune up was very well priced. Thank you Alco!

Varga was extremely rude as soon as he came into house. I noticed there was a 16 year old dog in the living room and would not bother him. He became very unfriendly from that point on.He kept acting like I had never had a waterheator changed out before. Also, kept saying I must have all these extras to be safe. Not pleased with the tone of voice he used talking to me.He kept trying to add all kind of extras that we could not afford and, I told him we just needed a price to install a new customer supplied one.He started at $1,189.00 and finally came down to $889.00.At that point I told him he was way out of out budget and could not accept his bid. He went out with the same attitude he came in with.He is not the type person you need working for you.

I Googled AC Repair near me and scrolled through several. I dont know why I picked Alco Air but Im glad I did. The lady that answered the phone was awesome! She was over the top with her enthusiasm and it was a pleasure speaking with her. Colton came to my house the same day. He was a good guy. Laid back and explained what was going on with my system. Unfortunately the cost of repairing my 14 year old system led me to buying a new unit. I was shocked at what they cost this day and time! Colton worked up a work order and I signed it. The next morning James and his helper showed up with the new unit. Both men were extremely polite and professional. James took his time going over the new system with me. Im 61 years old. Seems like young people today are disrespectful and not tuned in to the job. The young men that came to my home were very respectful and professional. Thank you guys. Thank you Alco Heat and AC I will write the phone number on my air handler with a permanent marker and I will use them from now on.Monday 7-29Had a little glitch in the new unit at 10 oclock at night. Called Alco Air and they sent a young man out within 30 minutes of my call. I dont know where you found all of your hands but you have an awesome team. Justin Phillips was polite, professional and a pleasure to speak with. He had my ac up and running in just a few minutes. I know there are other ac repair business that are good but I just dont see how any of them could beat Alco Air. Thank you for taking care of me and keeping the cold air blowing at my place.

We had a sewage blockage between our house and the city service with it starting to back up into the house. We called Alco and they promptly showed up and took care of it. Their promptness and courtesy was very much appreciated.Highly recommend!

The Alco Air employees arrived early, they were able to diagnose the problem we were having with our hot water heater as well as the problem with our leaking garbage disposal. They removed and replaced both items very quickly, and disposed of our old water heater & garbage disposal. I’m pleased the Alco Air was available to meet our needs.

I scheduled an appointment online and they immediately confirmed my appointment by text and a phone call. The technician quickly diagnosed and repaired the issue. He explained everything to me as he was working and prior to repair. I understood exactly what was going on and how much it would cost to fix it. I will definitely use them again for all my residential HVAC needs.

Had a great experience. A home warranty company tried to scam my wife and Alco came out and had our problem fixed within a few hours. The technician was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I would recommend Alco to anyone in East Texas.

Alco air is a real life saver. Easy to contact and set an appointment. Technicians were all knowledgeable in their own line of specialization. Alco Air sent me Technician Cody Zanden and Koleman. They are very accommodating, hardworking and professional. We bought a new furnace with them and were so satisfied with the way it was set up. They did’nt leave not until furnace is running smoothly. Had a UV light installed in our air handler to kill and prevent mold in the system. It took them less than an hour for the install and instructions for any future problems. Very professional and courteous service. Thank you. Colton performed our seasonal service and Emanuel performed the UV light service.

It turned out to be a clogged nozzle for the pilot light assembly. I wound up fixing it myself for free… but before that the tech misdiagnosed the problem, and tried to sell me a $15000 system… and charged me $80+ for the useless service call. I was upset. I’m sure they sell a lot of systems this way, but I just wanted the thing repaired. Won’t be calling them again. If you need a repair, these guys don’t seem to be the right company.

They gave a day and time.Their technician (Justin) was on time and did a complete inspection (first time customer) and serviced and cleaned throughly both the furnace inside (changed the airfilter with a brand I prefer) and then serviced and completely cleaned the outside unit... and recharged the coolant.I plan to sigh up for seasonal service. Maintenance is important with the weather we are experiencing now in East Texas.And as you can see. I was lucky.That limb didnt hit my unit.And that unit was installed in the house when we purchased it. But the original company orphaned it. Took my wifes check and never came back. So I am lucky to have a good service company to work on it for use...if needed.

Excellent service for an after-hours call. Was quick to diagnose the problem and lay out the solution. Then Justin went above and beyond the call of duty and procured a blower motor after 9:00 pm and had us cooling off in no time. Wow! Never had after hours service like this! Good experience problem was fix in no time tech was very professional and polite. The only thing was unit is still under warranty and I wasn’t informed before hand of a $80 fee for the tech to come out to fix the problem.

My heating unit died on Presidents Day with several days of freezing weather coming. Alco sent a repairman out that afternoon. Choices were to keep my 23 year old unit limping along or bite the bullet and go with a new unit. I decided to get the new unit...it was installed the next day. Crew was professional, efficient, polite and friendly. Thanks to Emanuel, Colton, and Kevin (?) I have stayed warm and cozy!

Alco air was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Called late last week to ask for a quote for new indoor and outdoor units, and the very nice woman set up an appointment for a free quote the following Monday. Mr. Collin who came out to give us some options was not only knowledgeable, but kind and informative. He gave us quite a few options price wise, and the next day Emmanuel was here for the install. Even with it pouring down rain, these guys got the job done quickly. Would highly recommend this crew.

I would not recommend this company.Strike 1 - change my appointment time without notificationStrike 2 - the technician went to the wrong city and therefor was lateStrike 3 - the tech quoted us $7,000 to repair a 2.5 ton unit and over $11,000 for a replacement. These prices are ridiculous and I dont know how they stay in business.

Truly enjoyed my experience. Did some courtesy preventative maintenance work and it was easy. No hassles and Connor did a phenomenal job. I know he must hear this love but give this guy a raise. With this company its always a pleasure and never chore.

Actually, Ryan and Zadan did the fan cleaning work. Danny came by to make introduce us and make sure I was comfortable because he knows I only want him, but they were very professional, courteous, and kind. I called Alco Air on Monday to unstop a bathroom sink drain. They came on Tuesday at the scheduled time. Both Bryce and Nick were very professional and personable. We called this place at 7:00 one night with a flooded laundry room/main shut off valve busted. They communicated very well, were super friendly. Got to the house around 8:15 had the repair done in 5 minutes. Bryce was the technician and was amazing.

Had my entire system replaced after they identified some issues with my old one. Theyve been checking on the new system and cleaning regularly with the warranty plan I purchased as well. Great people and great service. Definitely my new HVAC company going forward with this home or another if I move.

They were able to a tech to our home in a couple hours. Professional and courteous tech.

Had them come look at my A/C unit and they told me the unit was about to go out, that it had a leak and other things wrong with it. They said it would it cost about $22,000 to get a new unit. I had a different company come and inspect my A/C unit and they found NOTHING wrong with it. They said it wouldnt cost $22,000 for a new unit and it would only cost $10,000 at most. No leak was found by the second company which Alco wanted to charge $2700 to fix. My unit wasnt about to go out as their technician said. Please be aware of this company scamming you. The technician falsified a report with several things wrong, when they werent. That should show you what type of company this is, no ethics whatsoever. They get commission of fixing peoples A/C units and are clearly willing to scam people for money. Im glad I got a 2nd opinion from an honest company who wasnt trying to scam me out of $22,000. I will not use this company anymore.

On Saturday the 18 may I call for service. The technician was very nice and did explain to me what was needed to fix my AC unit. It was a misunderstanding concerning what type of freon I needed. The freon I need is no longer made. I have a old unit. After speaking with Mr Conner Tramel I understand that it was honest mistake. We as humans do make mistakes at sone point. We had a hydrostatic testing done and we also needed the cameras run through our lines to find where all the pipes lead on our property. The technician was very respectful and polite. He went straight to work and was extremely thorough. We had some unique situations with our particular septic system but the technician spent a good deal of time making sure we had the exact location of the problem lol and we felt that the service was very reasonable for the price. Additionally, the office staff communicated effectively and the quotes on additional work were straightforward and reasonably priced. Would recommend!

The whole experience started when Jeannie answered the phone after only two rings with a happy, pleasant voice. She was very kind to me and listen to my whole story while I cried on the phone to her. She set a time for Chase to come out this afternoon but then within a very short time contacting me again and said he was on his way already. If I could give 10 out 5 stars to both Chase and Jeannie I would happily. Chase was awesome he explained all the problems to me he gave me many options and very shortly he fixed the problem at the lowest cost possible. My AC was not working at all for days and when Chase showed up I felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders because we had weather coming in at the end of this week of 108° and we have animals that we needed to take care of that were already suffering. I highly recommend this company and feel confident that any problem anyone might have they can take care of easily, efficiently, and quickly.

We are very thankful that they were able to come and fix our AC the same day it stopped working. They were also very helpful in explaining what was wrong and how to fix it correctly. However, they never tried to push any options on us which is a wonderful quality. Most places try and push for you to get more done than is truly necessary.

After having them come out and do some diagnostics they quoted me about $1700 to get everything working. When they came out a few days later to actually make the repairs apparently the technician that had made the diagnosis several days prior had made a mistake. Now the 2 other technicians who were on-site,then the first technician came out again as well, then proceeded to find the actual problem and then Jack up the price to about $3500 surpassing the original quote I got. They refused to work on the price even though their technician had quoted that the price of the part they were going to need to replace was only about $800 and to fill up the coolant was going to be around $500... why was I being Up charge nearly $2000 to simply install this new part in labor fees? The technician left before I could arrive from work and the Management I talked to on the phone to try and explain the price refused to even work with me on getting the price down to keep me as a customer. Couldnt honestly feel any worse. I felt like I was being taken advantage of and that I was being price gouged for something that didnt need to be charged that much for. If I would only would have been charged the price of the part that needed to be replaced and then the price for the coolant and then a few $100 for labor I would have easily and happily gone with them but it feels like they were just trying to take advantage of the situation. Unfortunately I cannot recommend them in the slightest.

Chase was very professional. He was very informative and let me know my options. I called Alco at 4 oclock in the afternoon and they were at my house before 5. Chase fixed my unit, to last through the night and keep us cool, til my new unit was installed the following morning.

Heat stopped working during the last big freeze so I called Alco. They were there within 90 minutes. Within about 20 minutes the technician had diagnosed me with needing a completely new system (10-15k). Got a second opinion from Double S, he showed me that the only issue was one wire hooked up incorrectly to the thermostat, didn’t charge me anything, works perfect now. Will never use Alco again, they just want to sell you a new unit for the commission.

Colton arrived before the scheduled time and quickly diagnosed the issue. He even took time to see if the part could be covered under warranty. Great service and I will definitely be using Alco Air for future needs!

Chase got to us quicker than expected and went directly to work. He cleaned the unit and gave us repair options and recommendations. We agreed with his recommendations and we’re back to cooling in short order. Very professional and friendly!

I have never used Alco Air before this past Saturday. Conner C. I believe was the tech that came out. He was very thorough and explained everything in detail. I had another come business come out 3 times prior and still was not fixed. Connor did a full diagnostic on inside and outside unit. Long story short I have an older unit that uses R22. Repairs could be done but it could not be guarantee how long that would last. A project manager came out that same day (which was a Saturday). Needless to say I needed a new inside and outside unit. The techs came first thing Monday morning to install. The complete inside cooling/furnace and outside unit. The tech that came today were also very nice, professional and cleaned every inch of dirt they left. Even swept my floor and picked it up! They completely tested unit cooling and heat. Thoroughly went thru operating the new thermostat and operation. I will never use another a/c company. I would highly highly! Recommend this business!

Yesterday (Sep 25 2023), I called in needing a quote for a new air handler and heat pump installed. Within a couple of hours, Collin Thompson, Project Manager was at my door. Collin reviewed of our situation and HVAC requirements. I was provided options and explanations of what they offered. Two other companies provided quotes. In my opinion Alco was the most thorough and their labor warranty included an extra year. To boot, their quote was the most affordable. Today (Sep 26), installers were here at 9AM and finished by 1:30. I am extremely pleased with the professionalism and value offered by Alco Air. I highly recommend them to anyone needing AC repair or installation.

These guys were beyond amazing and prompt. I searched including them six different AC companies for quotes. Of those, they were the most honest and willing to complete all necessary work. In less than three days they completely reworked my system including the duct work and moved the location of one of the two AC systems. Further, they went beyond what was required even helping with the children and explaining things to them and cleaning up after a sick dog. On top of all of this, they upgraded one of the units for free because the planned unit was not in stock. They cleaned up all messes messes they made and even offered to return the displayed stored items in the attic for us. Fast friendly and affordable, no short cuts and not cutting items and needed work to make their quote appear to be the best. They were open and honest and I truly would use them time and again.Update:Use these guys for plumbing as well. All are extremely courteous and friendly as well as prompt. You cannot go wrong with them.

ALCO Air took great care of me and my needs. Ryne installed a new furnace/air conditioner. He was professional, friendly and was a great representative of ALCO. aAnd then my pipes broke from the cold and ALCO sent Bryce who continued the ALCO excellent service. BEWARE! Their prices are absolutely criminal!Due to work schedules and shipping times to get the part in ourselves we decided to have Alco come out and replace our capacitor. We were quoted an $85 service fee OR the price of parts. I know the round about price of a capacitor so we were comfortable with this. Even knowing the price of the part would be inflated.Alco showed up, did 15 minutes of work, knocked on my door and said, go ahead and turn the AC on and then said thatll be $480.00 but I went ahead and gave you a 15% discount.In hindsight I should have told him to remove the part but I did not know I had that option.Yes, we are paying for a service, for a convenience and for knowledge but $480 on a $50 part and less than 20 minutes of work is criminal.We called the next day to chat with someone about this, hoping it was a mistake and were told point blank, sorry, thats business. They will never get our business again.

Bryce was on time and ready to work. He inspected both of our HVAC units and repaired the one that we were having some problems with. He was friendly and kept me updated about what was going on. We have been very pleased with all of our experiences with Alco Air and Bryce has been here for almost every visit.

Alco air came out within a couple of hours of calling them. Same day service when my ac is out and forecasted to be 105 degrees outside. Very caring and understanding lady on the phone and Colton was great. He got us back up and running in a timely and professional manner! Thanks y’all!

Very thorough in quickly diagnosing and fixing the issue that we were experiencing with our unit.

The repairman was at my house for less than 20 minutes. He only unclogged a drain on my a/c, no parts replaced and charged $358. That is ridiculous. The hourly labor rate is over $1,000. I’m sorry but that’s price gouging to the extreme. I will not be doing business with them ever again. After posting this review they responded that their regional director would be reaching out to me, but that never happened. I recommend finding any other company to anyone considering using these guys.

He was very friendly and respectful when he introduced himself. They arrived on time and sent me a text message that he was on his way. My unit is over 20 years old and he did a great job finding the problems and was Very knowledgeable on the unit. They gave me different options on how to fix the problem with my heater. They even put on some orange covers over there shoes when they came inside my home. I was very impressed with them. I would definitely recommend them to my friends.

Great experience with Alco-McWilliams this week. I have battled issues for years with my HVAC system. I have used other contractors in the past for repairs but never was given a long term solution to the problems. I decided to use Alco-McWilliams for help this week and over the last two days the team did the most complete diagnosis of my system to date and also completed a repair to the underlying cause of the persistent problems. I interacted with multiple members of the team and all were professional and knowledgeable. 100% recommend.

Collin and his associate were fantastic! I purchased a new unit and had it installed on the same day!!! They were fast, respectful, and completed outstanding work. It looks great, functions perfectly, and they took the time to teach me to use my new thermostat.

We were very pleased with the service of this plumbing company. The plumbers answered when we called late and even came late at night to help with our plumbing issue. They were very friendly, informative and fixed our plumbing problem promptly.

I forgot the technician’s name, but he did a thorough inspection and didn’t find any problems other than a loose faucet in the kitchen. He was very polite.

Our pipes busted on Christmas Eve and after calling around, Alco was the only company that was able to send someone out. Chris arrived and looked at our issue and discussed to us what needed to be done. At that point we decided to replace all of our water lines. We made the appointment for Wednesday, December 28. Both Chris and Brandon got to work fixing our pipes and came back today 12/29 to finish the job. Chris explained everything, especially when we had questions. When he was leaving he said to call anytime we had another issue. We will be definitely coming back to Alco.

My 92 year old father lost freon in his unit and was not able to replace it himself. I called Alco and asked if they could help, and they immediately jumped on it. The technician was very polite and took great care of my dad. He did not leave behind a mess and was very time efficient. I would definitely recommend Alco to anyone needing AC services!

However, today 4/22/22, Tech, Danny came out, along with another guy I guess he was training, for what reason I have no clue because they called me saying it was for my monthly maintenance. A time was set for today they came and changed filter, washed outside unit, etc. and my unit was working fine until they “serviced” it. Now it’s 80 degrees in my house and I have my mother who is on oxygen. They will definitely not be getting my business again. Also, he stated when I called back to let them know that my unit is no longer cooling since they “serviced it”, Danny stated that my blower and circuit board went out ( which we just replaced last summer). On top of that, Danny stated that my unit was old and it needed to be replaced. He stated that finance option is available. However, it was working just fine and blowing COOL air until they “serviced it”. Spoke with the manager, Connor and nothing was resolved and he wasn’t professional or helpful. They have been avoiding my calls every since. Also, spoke with Jennie and she stated that she will have Connor return my call but no one has called me back as of yet of course it’s after 5 pm.
