No one should have to wait an hour for an inspection. Watched them pick up keys and ask a customer if they were theirs, when he came to pick up his truck! Most unprofessional place I’ve been in a long time. They should let people know inspections don’t start till 11! If you don’t want to deal with customers go work for a dealership! Took the second car to another place and was in and out in 5 mins. He was nice, and professional! Do better! Smile more! Be kind! Bet you would be pissed if someone treated your mom the way yall are running that place.

I have always gone to the dealership for oil change service. If you know dealerships you know it is lengthy wait time and seems to always need something more with no proof. Here they were Very professional yet KWIK advised of the filters that needed to be changed and showed them to me for me to make the decision. I changed the filters with my oil change. All was great. Definitely worth every penny I spent.

If youre going after an inspection dont bother. They open at eight, I showed up at nine. Was told the boss said no inspections until after 10am. Two empty bays, three mechs standing, not a customer in sight, and no inspection possible. I headed over to Hill Country Vehicle Inspection and was out the door with my inspection in 15min.

I’ve gone to this location before in the past and never felt that I had terrible service or was overcharged. But today I showed up for an oil change expecting to pay what I had about a year ago plus maybe something more for inflation. I was the only person in there at first and my oil was changed very quickly when I got the bill however it was for over $140! Granted, I drive an F150, but I was never told that there was an up charge for synthetic oil of $45 When I questioned them, they said the only oil they use is synthetic therefore that charge will always be there. This was not discussed prior to getting the oil change. Had I known I would have probably gone somewhere else where I was given options. So my advice is do your shopping around and don’t go here unless you want to be up charged.

We have used Kwik Kar to service our vehicles since we moved here in 2018. They do a great job and I wouldn’t consider taking our cars anywhere else.

I’ve been taking my car here for oil changes and maintenance for quite some time and it seems each time the costumer service and quality of the services gets better! It is a drive for me now since I moved, but it is worth it!

This place is normally pretty decent, but today they changed my oil and failed to connect three of the screws to the drip pan so I was driving down the highway with it dragging. I had to reconnect them myself when I got home. I called and the manager told me to drive it back (with it dragging) and they would reattach and give me a discount on my next service. No thanks. Not going here again.

I went here to have a tire checked. He told me there was nothing leaking, no holes, etc. and that it just needed a little air. A few hours later I’m stranded in downtown Austin with a completely flat tire because it did in fact have a bad leak.

Came here for a state inspection on my lunch break. Friendly people, fast inspection! I was in and out within 20-30 min and my tags are on their way.

A few months ago, my husband paid for an oil change here, and they failed to securely attach the new filter. The oil leaked out of his car, and we had to go back to replace the oil that had leaked out. We thought this would just be a one-time slip up. I went to get my oil changed last weekend, and they failed to attach my heat shield back to the bottom of my car. While driving, it started dragging and scraping the ground. A random guy at a gas station was kind enough to help me zip tie it back to my car until I could get into the dealership to have it replaced. Kwik Kar’s negligence to properly and securely attach parts onto customers’ cars has cost us both time and money. We won’t be taking our vehicles back to this establishment.

I was in and out in less than 30 minutes… and that’s the most important thing to me. Kudos for the quick oil change!

Inspection can be hit or miss. The inspection guy leaves at 4PM which leaves little time to make it after work. Saturday? Maybe. I went this morning at 8AM, when they open, to be told the inspection guy wouldn`t be in until 11AM. I went down the road and got inspection elsewhere.

Do NOT get your car inspected here. Or go here for any reason. First, they will have you waiting even if there is no one else in line. They did not put an emphasis on “kwik” service. Car has never failed inspection for 10 years. They found a very minute reason to fail me. I got the repair done, and came back for reinspection a week later. They then said it STILL wasn’t up to standard. I told them there was no way I’d show up again and spend 1+ hour if it hadn’t been fixed. They didn’t budge or give much reason. And were unwilling to give me more time to re-do inspection. Had to have the issue checked again and finally the THIRD time they passed me. I should have read reviews before going here. Thankfully, inspections are not the law starting in 2025 but I would never recommend this business

Needed a Tesla inspection. No emissions test so takes 3 mins to check the lights and honk the horn. Told me it would be a 40 min wait. At 42 mins said it would be another 1.5 hour wait. Should have just said in the beginning they didnt want to do it. Very rude and disrespectful of my time. Have been several times with other cars. Will never be back.

Witnessed the most unprofessional behavior this morning (10:30/July 10, 23. I brought my car In for an inspection and backed in behind the building next to two other waiting customers. Twice, for inspections, the employee came out and, not exaggerating, raced the customers vehicles through the rocks between Kwik Kar and the Golden Chick. I could hear the rocks bouncing off the wheel wells and could see the front tires spinning as he sped around to do the brake test. I understand they need to test the braking, but they have never had a problem before doing it along side the building from a stop by the front. The last instance, same employee was pulling a car straight in to get oil changed that was parked next to me and again, spun l the tires in the dirt and moved faster than what was necessary to move just 20’ to the bay. After that, I left. I wasn’t going to let this same guy treat my car like a rental. I will never bring not only my car, but my 4 other vehicles here for anything! What I witnessed was true unprofessionalism and directly reflects the services they provide. Such a disappointment. I should go back and just video it for proof as this must be his regular behavior.

I sent my son or an oil change on his pick up. He was quoted 1 price and charged another at the register by the manager Cory. After learning of this, I called and spoke to him. He stated that he explained the additional charge was because he put synthetic in lieu of regular oil and that why they had to charge more. He stated my son said “ok”. As though a kid knows how to argue with a grown man. This is a total scam and taking advantage of a child. I will never use this place again.

Needed an inspection for my RV. Called ahead and verified they can inspect an RV. They said no problem and gave me instructions as to where to park and that it was first come first served.I arrived at opening time and informed the guy in the shop where I was. He told me to wait in my RV. 45 minutes later some other guy comes out, takes my info and mileage and tests all the lights. He tells me he’s setting up for me and goes back inside. 15 minutes later a third guy comes out and tells me they aren’t certified to inspect my RV because it has air brakes.Really? So I waste all this time and fuel to drive to liberty hill because this place doesn’t know what questions to ask about a vehicle inspection. Would you trust them to change your oil correctly? I wouldn’t.

Went in to get an inspection and got the usual well, its going to be at least an hour in a sarcastic tone. This has happened multiple times now, Ive never been to a business that tries so hard to get you to not be a customer. Message received, I wont come back again...

I’ve been coming here for years, and through all the name changes, they only seem to get better.My attendant today was very enthusiastic about helping me out; showing me everything he was doing and explaining why. When all the fluids were swapped and topped off, and the engine cleaned, he insisted I drive the car with him to make sure I was satisfied before paying the bill.I’m very impressed with theservice, and definitely recommend this Kwik Kar.Very friendly and super helpful. ✌️

I have been here twice. The first time I came I had my oil change and car inspected. The service was phenomenal and the employees were really nice. I went again today to take my husbands vehicle in for a inspection and again, the service was phenomenal and the employees were really nice. This is become my go to place. Took my truck in to get my brakes fixed went ahead got my old change even though it wasnt time since I was already there. Called and told me it was ready went to pick it up and they only checked the brakes didnt fix them. So basically paid for an oil change I could have waited on.

Took my car in and got an oil change, didnt drive it all weekend and got to my sons appointment which is 4 hours long, the nurse stay with him. Make a short story I sit in the car well anyway I get out of my car and I have oil everywhere found out themat they didnt tired the oil filter and soil called them after much discussion they told me someone sabotage my car really ,will never use them again

I took my wifes Mercedes in to have the state inspection completed. The staff was courteous and friendly. They used paper floor mats to ensure the cleanliness of the vehicle. I was extremely pleased with the service.The next day I took my company car in for an oil change. Again, a friendly and courteous staff. Owner told me that they dont perform trailer inspections when it has been wet and rainy. I laughed, thinking it was a joke until he told me, Sorry, theres nothing I can do. That doesnt even make sense. Wont be going back for oil changes or anything now.

The employees are always so helpful. I travel a lot and get my oil changed about once every 2 months or so. They take care of my vehicle and my daughters with no high pressure sales and I dont feel like I am being taken advantage of. Much appreciation to these guys.

These guys were fantastic. I have spent the last 2 weekends trying to get my truck inspected (I live in north austin) anyway I went to 3 different Jiffy places yesterday just to be turned away for various reasons. The quick trip to Liberty Hill took care of my problems.

ABSOLUTELY horrible business. Do NOT COME HERE. 100% rip off on pricing and pressuring for unnecessary services to get more money. You are better off at a dealership than this place.

I came to Kwik Kar, because I got tired of the run around at the car dealerships. I sat at one for over 3 hours for an oil change. Other times, over 2 hours. I got tired of this and went to Kwik Kar in Liberty Hill. One of the mechanics there is a certified Honda technician and I feel very comfortable taking my Honda there. A very nice group of guys. I have taken my car in for oil changes and inspection. All done in a very timely and courteous manner. Kathy Shaw

Just took my VW SUV in, after hearing what sounded like a serious problem, to find out kwik kar techs hadn’t reinstalled my air damn completely, and it was hanging down being torn up on the road as I was driving. There was also speculation that the oil filter had not been replaced. I called to simply request that they have their techs double check things like having the air damn completely reinstalled because it just cost me quite a bit due to their overlooking that. The man said “Ok” in response. It seem to me that he couldn’t care less about their mistake costing me another bill at a European mechanic. I inquired about the type of oil filter and explained why. He proceeded to try and talk over my head. No apology. No customer service. Just bland stoic responses. Will not be doing business here again.

My truck was overheating while driving through Liberty Hill to pick up a horse. I had the radiator flush done but they noticed that a lower hose was leaking. They found the part and replaced it quickly. Everybody was very helpful in getting us going again. Thanks for the great service!

This place is one of my favorites. Two times in the past year my tire pressure light has come on ironically (or not) right before I pass the building. I have pulled in and been assisted with nothing but speed and manners. These guys are so kind, fill up my tires and dont even work on tires as a service! They are always overly eager and willing to help. My tires should actually only have nitrogen in them, and I didnt know that until they informed me. They advised that they didnt have nitrogen but that they would put air in my tires if I simply acknowledged that I would later need to go have it fixed elsewhere. I was in a bind and told them to go ahead both times.Its too common for businesses to treat people like an inconvenience, and these guys go above and beyond to do the exact opposite.

I swore off quick lube places years ago but this is the exception to the rule. They have always treated me fairly and done a great job. They still recommend certain maintenance on your car but it is not high-pressure like some of the other guys.

Used to love this business, but the new management is horrible and they’re out to make money off of customers by lying to them and take advantage of them anyway they can for a small town I would avoid this business at all cost possible.

I had my truck inspected mid May and it failed inspection because of a power steering leak. The person who inspected the truck said everything else looked great. It took me a few months to get the leak fixed. I went in today to get the truck re-inspected after fixing the leak and the same guy failed it because of the tread on the driver front tire was worn. In 2 months I drove about 2000 miles which is not possible to wear that much tread off to fail the inspection. These guys a taking peoples money and treating customers poorly.

They wanted to change my cabin air filters (costs $8) for a $39 charge. They didn’t reset my Maint req light after my oil change. My center console was closed improperly (unsure who was in it) and they keep trying to get me to get my fuel injectors cleaned without needed (brought my wife’s car then mine).

I always come here for my cars yearly inspection. The staff is courteous, friendly and fast. The office is immaculate. Great service all around.

I live near this Kwik Kar Lube & Auto Care. I have a vehicle which most oil change businesses will not service. The employees at this location now carry my filter and oil and provide the service conveniently close and at a competitive price. I have sent several people with similar vehicles to them and I now bring my other vehicles as well.

Made a huge mess under my hood. Fresh oil all over the top of the engine and and dirty oil all over the bottom protection cover on a brand new car. Thought I had an oil leak. 👎

Drove up for inspection and oil change. Attendant came up to my window without mask. I had one on and asked him where his mask was and he said they weren’t required to wear one since it was outdoors and besides. I told him your breathing into my car with no mask. He didn’t care so I left without giving them any business. Won’t be back either.

Went to get my oil changed and they disconnected a hose when I drove off my car started messing up and would not run more than 30mph called the place and they said it was not their fault never going there again.

Got my Fuel Filters swapped in a timely manner.

Went in for an oil change and then they said my car wouldnt start. We got it into the parking lot and my brother figured out they had pulled the vacuum hose off the engine and they wanted over a $1000 to fix it.

Brought my truck in 5/8 @ 8am for my brakes. The gentleman said the mechanic would not be in until 10am and asked for me to come back at 9:30am. I obliged. Spoke with another person upon my second arrival and he requested I pull my truck around to the back to enter the bays and they would get to it shortly. I go inside and wait for over an hour and I still do not see my truck pulled in. I stepped out and the mechanic said that he wouldn’t be able to get to it until late afternoon. GET IT TOGETHER!
