Covenant Air Conditioning provided excellent service for my family! They were very quick and came out right away when I told them that we had no heat in 20-30 degree weather. I would definitely recommend them and we will be using them again.

These guys are 100% amazing. We had a great install and they did a great job. We’ve had our system for a year now. It has been so nice. We purchased a 5 stage heat pump and upgraded from a three to four ton compressor. It was sooo worth the money. The month after it was installed, our electric bill went down $50.

The Covenant team was quick and efficient. We called because of our A/C went out due some electrical contact issues and they were able to send someone out within 25 minutes, specifically on a Friday and before a holiday. We would definitely recommend them to anyone!

I highly recommend Covenant Air Conditioning & Heating. Have had a maintenance plan for several years whereby for a minimal charge they service my heating system in the Fall and air conditioning in Spring. A very responsive friendly staff in the office (Angela is a lovely lady) as well as the technicians who are cordial, knowledgeable and skilled. It is a comfort to know that trustworthy assistance is readily available in times of such weather extremes.

Don’t use these guys. It’s a scam! I never had any problems with my 4 year old system, I decided to get a tune up. While they were out here they added Freon. Bill came to $360. 2 days later my system stopped working during 100 degree + weather. Of course they were unable to come out so I ended up having a neighbor that works for a different company come out after not having air for over 24 hours, and they found that the drain had been clogged and the Freon was still low. (I had paid Covenant to clear it.) So there went another $350. Covenant offered no solution despite the fact that their guys not only did nothing but ended up clogging my drain. Remember my system had been working perfectly for a little over 4 years. No problem! What a scam this company is!I will probably have to take them to small claims court to get my money back.

Just had my ac/heating unit checked & maintained by Jared with Covenant. Great job, thorough and professional. Even did, filter replacement.

They replaced our 25 year old indoor and outdoor HVAC system in early 2021, and did a great job at a competitive price.Customer service is responsive, kind, and all around excellent as well!One day, a few years later, the ac stopped cooling and I called them and left a message, as it was after hours. However, within the hour I received a text message from Roy and he walked me through some things to check and then some simple steps how to resolve the issue on my own, free of charge, had the AC cooling again in no time and he gave me instructions on how to help prevent it from happening again in the future! Fantastic!(Drain line got a little gunky. 1/2 a cup of bleach a month down the drainline.)Ive recommended them to my neighbor who ultimately went with them as well when their ac needed to be replaced, and they were also satisfied.And, obviously, I would highly recommend them again to anyone.

I called at 7:30AM with a broken unit that couldn’t get any cooler than 77 degrees. By 4PM, my unit was fixed with a new control board, house at 72 degrees. I also had a great customer service experience — Jared (my technician) was competent, friendly and thorough. In addition, I got fantastic communication from the office team, providing details on the tech’s arrival time in the morning and again when he came back to install the part! 10/10!

Roy responded to my plea for help even before business hours on Monday morning. I was without A/C in the 100 degree temps. Another company diagnosed the problem but it was going to take a week to locate the part for the repair. Roy found the part, worked me into the schedule and had it repaired and cooling before 4:00 the same day! And the repair cost was less than the other company. I have always found Roy and his team to be professional and respectful. I highly recommend Covenant.Edited addition 11/7/24Just an update: I purchased the yearly maintenance contract and Covenant will contact you and let you know when service can be scheduled for both Spring (a/c) maintenance and Fall (heater) maintenance. I purchased a new HVAC system a little over a year ago from Covenant to replace my previous one. Have been well pleased with them. When I needed a new filter or a yearly maintenance , they had me scheduled within a day or so. Great service.

Covenant Air & Heating installed a new unit last year. Today Jared and Kaleb cleaned out the drain that was causing the AC to operate only intermittently. They were very professional in explaining the process and how to best prevent future problems. I highly recommend this company.

I was out of A/C from Thursday evening. Friday and Saturday I did my due diligence meeting with a/c contractors. Sunday my daughter recommended I call Michael at Covenant because she had always had great service from them. Mike came over Sunday afternoon and by Tuesday I was again among the living!! He had been able to rearrange the work schedule of his men to be able to take care of my dire situation. So responsive, such nice workmen, so efficient! If I could give 10 stars, I would.

We were told that our entire hvac system should be replaced. We called Covenant for a second opinion.Covenant sent a technician to review the system. He was calm, professional and explained what he was recommending clearly. Instead of replacing a 2 unit system (probably running $10,000 to $20,000) he recommended replacing two parts for about $1000. We will be using Covenant for future HVAC work.

I truly wish I could give this company more than 5 stars. From the very beginning, they have been nothing but amazing to work with. They fit us into their schedule right away, and got us up and running in no time! Hands down best AC company in central Texas!

They started out treating us great just to get us in the door. After a few years we had an issue with our AC and they sent out a tech named Bruce. Bruce told me hes the best. And got us fixed up in his eyes. From there we had even more issues since, the best came out. Bruce kept on messing stuff up and we had to keep paying for his mess ups. We had to hire another AC company and they found all sorts of things wrong with the initial instalation and Bruces mess up.We did not complain to them but sent them pictures the other AC company found wrong along with an invoice. Well guess what, crickets. Never heard another word.I would not trust this company and for sure anybody that tells you they are the best.

I recently had a problem with an A/C unit at my daughters house, where we have a whole house appliance warranty, where we cannot choose the vendor for repairs. Covenant did not sell us that unit, nor did we ever pay them to service it. And Roy KNEW that we were waiting for the warranty service to assign a different vendor to do the maintenance visit. We did buy 2 A/C units from Covenant in the past for another house, and they have treated us like royalty ever since. Roy spent 41 minutes on the phone with me yesterday helping me to troubleshoot the problem and to assess whether or not we might damage the compressor if we left the thermostat on. 41 minutes!! The whole time he was helpful and courteous...never rushing us or sounding impatient. He walked us through many troubleshoot steps. What an amazing company! They care about their customers!! They are honest and trustworthy and fully competent. I cant thank them enough. They deserve 6 stars, if that were possible.

Outstanding HVAC operation servicing Georgetown and the surrounding greater Austin area.Experienced, hard working crew completed old system removal + new Carrier dual AC switch system installation in under 6 hours.Highest recommendation to call Roy, Angela or Michael for a maintenance, repair or replacement.

Came out to diagnose an issue where our upstairs was blowing very loudly and while the customer service seemed pretty great they came back and said there was a list of issues. He walks me through undersized ducting, says there is corrosion in the drip pan which is also missing an overflow sensor, there are oversized holes around damper controllers that were leaking air, we were a pound under on refrigerant, and we were missing caps on the gas lines. Gave us a total quote to fix everything for $28k.I spoke with family about this issue and jumped on FaceTime to show them only to go upstairs and find the exact overflow sensor they claimed didn’t exist, and the drain line which was unobstructed without issue. The icing on the cake was when I went outside to look at the missing caps to find both of them on the ground. Did he not expect me to go look and just charge me $65 for two caps when they are $5 for 10 on Amazon?! Absolutely ridiculous.

Our AC broke literally the day before the warranty expired. We called the company that installed it (not Covenant) and when the tech came out he told us he couldnt verify the warranty. Long story short, the installing company said they would honor the warranty, but was trying to charge us nearly $5K. They even put Warranty all over the invoice. Thankfully, we had the chance to search around and got in contact with Covenant. They went out of their way and got us okd by the manufacturer to ACTUALLY honor the warranty at no cost to us. We ended up purchasing a new outdoor unit only because the broken part was about 2 months out though. They rushed an installation appointment for us for the next day knowing wed been without ac for a week at that point, and the guys showed up right on time and were finished in a few hours. These folks were great; professional, responsive, and took the time to help us out even though they possibly wouldnt even get a sale out of us in the end. When its time to replace the air handler inside, we will definitely go straight to them.

We had been having AC problems for a couple of months since another company had been unable to correctly diagnose the issue. Our neighbor recommended Covenant Air Conditioning and Heating. Bruce and Ricardo assessed the problem of my struggling AC right away. They were very knowledgeable and professional explaining the issue and the options available. A leak test was scheduled and performed a few days later by Bruce and Ricardo and the issue and warranty were thoroughly explained. Roy and Angela were super awesome explaining financing options and scheduled the fixing of the unit the SAME DAY! This was especially appreciated since my AC had not been functioning to full capacity in the middle of the dog days of summer, in the hottest summer on record! Awesomeness all the way around! We had an air conditioning cooling problem at our children’s daycare center. We called Covenant that afternoon and they came out the very next day. The professional technicians spent time assessing the cooling deficiencies and gave us a plan to correct the issue. They ordered the necessary parts and even installed them on a Saturday so as to not disrupt our weekday operations. The air conditioner is working better than ever now! The owner, Michael, technicians and the installation team or truly “men of integrity”, and we appreciate their professional service.

I am so pleased with this company. On a Friday they were able to squeeze me in even though they had a full schedule for today. The person that they had come was such a kind and wonderful man and he was very quick at what he did. I couldn’t be more happy with his service.

Covenant Air to the rescue again! AC went out and they were able to come out in less than 48 hours, figured out the issue and repaired it on the spot. Covenant, represented by Michael Luker, came in with the best priced estimate for a top name system. I needed to replace an existing 25+ year old cooling and heating system that was still working but for how much longer? Didnt want to do an install during the summer months. From the first contact from the office, to Michaels visit and estimate on the spot, to the rapidly scheduled installation, this experience was great. The technicians that showed up were polite, professional and non-stop workers. They knew their trade and were in and out in one day, including some additional duct work. The system appears to be functioning fine now and this summer we will find out how much better this Carrier system handles the heat load from our western front exposure. Very satisfied with Covenant and their crew.

Our Air Conditioning system was running on borrowed time and probably should have been replaced two years ago, but I was pushing it as far as it would go and June killed it. Covenant came to the rescue, assessed my home and situation and came up with several options that would work for our situation. Once we chose our option they had the materials and crew out quickly and had our completely new system installed fast. Despite the fact that the old system had completely cratered due to my procrastination, we were only out of A/C for 4 days. Ive been using Covenant to maintain my ac for a couple of years now. Always great service. It never fails, 100 plus outside and the system stops working. Called in the morning and they were able to get someone out the same day. The guys found and fixed the issue and had us cooled down by evening. Couldnt have been happier with the results.

My downstairs compressor stopped on Saturday evening. I sent an email for help on Sunday. Roy texted me within an hour and scheduled a visit for today, Monday. Bruce arrived early and had my unit up and running within 15 minutes. I was so impressed, I signed up for their Covenant Club. This is twice per year heating and cooling inspections. Great value. I am very satisfied with their price to fix my current issue. Great company!

What a great company Covenant is. We have used them since 2016 when we purchased a new heating/AC unit. Know that if you are using Covenant, you are going to get a company that cares about what they do and are honest and reliable. They obviously take pride in their work and value their customers. That is not an easy combination to find.

Covenant has been my go-to company for all my HVAC needs for years, helping to keep my aging system in good working order with regular checkups and tuneups. So when my old AC system stopped working for good on a sweltering summer day (as is often the case), I naturally called Covenant. I had the advantage of having spoken with them a year prior to needing a new system regarding the available options, so I already knew what I wanted and promptly selected a system. They rearranged their schedule to get it installed within two days, and when the new system had a couple of minor issues, they dealt with it in a lightning fast manner. Now I have an energy-efficient HVAC system that is miles above what I had before. I am very happy with the system, service and (most importantly) the results. Five enthusiastic stars for the good folks over at Covenant!

Mike came out and helped me take a look at the AC unit on my rental property. He was professional and looked at everything before making a diagnosis. He got it up and running temporarily until we could make the permanent fix. Did I also say that they made sure they got me in within 24 hours? These guys know what they are doing and are amazingly kind on top of it. Pros though and through! Call Mike and Roy. They will take care of you. Call them!!

Our a/c stopped cooling close to late afternoon while it was 107 outside! Our house was quickly heating up and we have a 2 week old baby at home so you can imagine my worry in finding someone to help take care of the issue as soon as possible. After calling around and getting no where, I found this company and not only were they responsive but he went above and beyond to help take care of the issue right away. This company was great! Excellent service throughout. I called after 8am on a Monday and by 9:30am, they came out and fixed my AC unit. Granted it was a small part ($), however, it was better than sitting in a 2 story house with no AC during the Summer.

Roy took my call about a thermostat issue and we set up an appointment for the following day. Later in the afternoon he called me back and said he had a tech available, so Bruce came within the hour. He was very patient with the issue, which took some digging to diagnose, obviously knew what he was doing and had the problem figured out and corrected quickly. The fee was exactly what Roy had quoted me for the visit, which was great. Overall, a very positive and successful service call. I will definitely be using Covenant again.

Our unit that cools the upstairs stopped doing that. We called Covenant Air Conditioning and Heating, Inc. to come and see what was wrong. They came the same day, looked at the air conditioner which was 13 years old and told us what the problems were. Essentially, the costs of repair were nearly the cost of the new air conditioner, and the repair may last for a few more years, or not.The wisdom of the decision to purchase a new system for the upstairs was clear and we did so. And, it was installed the same day!So, we had a problem, Covenant came out to check it. The problem was a big one and the wise decision was made to purchase a new system for upstairs and Covenant made arrangements the very same day to take out the bad equipment and install the new air conditioner. By the end of the day, we were cool upstairs!The gentlemen who came to our home to perform their respective jobs were efficient, polite and professional. It was an excellent experience and we would recommend Covenant with as many stars as there are.

We had a new AC unit put in by a different company recently and it has never worked correctly. After having the installing company come back and try to find out why with no luck, we got a second opinion from Covenant. They were able to find the problem and provide explanation of exactly what needed to be fixed, while also recommending to have the installing company come back and make the fixes for free instead of having to pay Covenant. Very helpful and professional. Will be recommending them moving forward.

It’s always a pleasure to work with Covenant. They installed our system about 12 years ago and just had to make a repair to bring the system back online. They managed to squeeze us into their busy schedule on this hot day with very short notice, and they did an amazing job. You won’t find nicer or more competent professionals anywhere else! The technician was able to get cold air flowing back through our vents in a matter of minutes.

We have used Covenant for about 10 yrs and have always had excellent service. Bruce is our regular technician and is GREAT. We had to purchase a new system and we are very pleased with the sale and the installation crew was awesome. Always pleased with all Covenant services.

We hired this company to check out one of our 5 AC Systems in our Commercial Building. They showed up prompt, and did an initial evaluation, they said they could not tell if the system was Bad or Not, and had to install a New Fan Motor and Capacitor in order to turn the outside unit On and test the system. We agreed to this and they installed the units for just under $1000 dollars. Very soon after this they say the entire system should be replaced, this is after we paid them the service fee. We received a quote from them for about $11,500 - for which we asked for a discount and if at least the 1K spent could be discounted, they said Yes. Still though we were unsure of their price and had a second bid done, which in fact came in several hundred dollars lower for the exact same Carrier System, even with deducting the 1K - so we approved that, we asked Covenant many times throughout this if they would remove, or we would remove the Fan Motor and Capacitor - to get some credit for these completely brand new parts and never used. They resisted and instead asked to see the other contract, I am sure to try and punch holes in it. Either way it is possible we may have gone with Covenant if they brought forward their best price to begin with, and we find it very unprofessional not to credit back the parts installed, as they were only used for testing, even if this might be a few hundred bucks, its not the money in this case but instead the principle and honesty of the company which is surely lacking with Covenant.

Covenant A/C was very easy to communicate with, and gave same day service installing a new AC Condensor. Technicians were very efficient and answered all questions. Their pricing was very competitive. I highly recommend Covenant A/C.

Our dog pulled out the control wires from our A/C unit outside late Friday afternoon with the hottest weekend of the year before us. Covenant was able to send a crew out the next day and they rewired the unit and we are back to normal. Quick response, friendly service, and quality work.

Covenant built our new HVAC system after our old one quit working. They were and are always professional, knowledgeable, precise and accurate. The system is sized correctly for our house, and has worked excellently for months.This week we had a little issue getting the furnace to kick in. One call and the Covenant folks were on top of it. It turned out to be a loose vacuum hose and the system was up and running in no time.I have developed a strong trust of the Covenant team and will continue to rely on them for our HVAC needs.

Our HVAC system stopped working on a Saturday when the high temp for the day was 104. I called just after noon and was told they would get to me later in the afternoon and Michael arrived at 5:45. After an assessment and diagnosis of the problem, we were back in operation with cold A/C within 45 minutes. Great response time during this critical heat wave!

Bruce came out yesterday and today to fix a problem in our drain line for our furnace and also came out today to install LED lights in our furnace ducts to kill any potential mold that could grow. He was very personable, knowledgeable, polite, and seemed very trustworthy. We have been using Covenant for many years and we always have trust in them.

109 degrees at 2 pm and the air conditioning stopped working!! Called Covevant and they said they would try to make it today but for sure tomorrow. 30 minutes later the AC started working so I called Covevant and spoke with Roy. He said did the screen go blank on the thermostat? yes He diagnosed the problem as a float valve issue. 515 pm tech called and said hed be there4 in 15-20 minutes. 530 pm the tech arrived, cleaned out the clogged drain line in 15 minutes and the problem was solved. Incredible service!!

Everyone Ive dealt with at Covenant are professional and honest, while doing what they say they are going to do, on-time. Received a call shortly after I called covenant from Roy. Said they would try and get a tech out today or tmr. Received a text that the tech will be here in 15 mins. 2 very nice fellas came, took care of business and now I have cool air flowing in my house!!! Very quick to respond, efficient and professional!!

Covenant Heating and Air is terrific. I have used them for 2 ac/heat units. So I have used them for years! My new unit was installed by them 18 months ago. They are wonderful about spring and fall maintenance. Great company.

Cons: they directly charged me 390( including 115 of diagnostic fees) without letting me know that they were going to do the additional work after diagnosis.Pros: They were able to send a tech the same day when I called.

Initial call they were very blunt and it made me feel like they didn’t really want my business. It was a red flag but I scheduled anyway. Then on the day of the consult I took off of work early and they never showed. After three hours they called to say they would email a quote. It never came.

Always impressed by their forthrightness and consistent quality work. Ive used Covenant here in Austin for many years now, including at my residence, my 100+ years old rental house (with two HVAC units), and my rental condo (with a rooftop HVAC unit). Both for maintenance and replacement when needed. Great company!

What a breath of fresh air in customer service! Bruce came out in literally a few minutes of our call (he was in the area) and Roy who answered my initial call was polite, professional.and very helpful keeping me updated on where the AC tech was and when he would arrive. Awesome service that was so great I’m sharing with my NextDoor peeps.

The Covenant team provided excellent service starting with explaining available options and the planning of the installation. In addition, the follow up to ensure the work was completed as planned and to my satisfaction was greatly appreciated.

We get regular maintenance by Covenant. Bruce is usually our service person and he is always prompt and very courteous. Today, when our AC went out during the triple digit temperatures, Covenant quickly got Bruce out to our house and he immediately identified the issue and fixed it before it got uncomfortably hot in our house!

Very disappointing experience…my new Carrier AC unit is not an improvement over my previous 19 year old Lennox unit. This new unit is incredibly louder than my older unit when the blower kicks on…only replaced my other unit because I was concerned it might break down during the extreme hot temps.

Covenant’s service is the best. When our heater broke down in the middle of the ice storm they came checked and replaced the unit within a day. They remind us when it is time to clean filters and do thorough maintenance checks..

The technicians were so helpful and accommodating. We had a technician from another company out 3 TIMES before these guys came out, and they were able to fix it right away! I highly recommend.
