The sink at my house hasnt been draining properly for a few days now and it was becoming really difficult to handle. Fortunately Titus and Kevin were able to come out and take a look at it.Not only were they able to show me video of the issues they were able to make it work for me until I could afford a better, more permanent solution. I appreciate how thorough they were and ready to answer all my questions with complete honesty. I cant wait to have them back to fix the clog for real

09/15/24, 09/16/24In the last two days I have had several A#1 employees at my house. Kenneth Mills was first on the scene. He diagnosed our problem with our A/C unit which ended up being a bad compresser. It was late Sunday evening so he documented everything and assured me someone would be out the next day to explain my options. That someone was Norbert Lopez right on time Monday morning. He was very thorough explaining my options and cost. Once he explained the details and small print then we decided on the plan of to replace my unit. Norbert coordinated the installation that same day. The install was completed by John Solis. John was very professional and did a outstanding job with the installation of an A/C unit that was bigger then he was. He worked by himself doing the job of two men. He completed the work on time and to my satisfaction. A#1 AIR is expensive but you get what you pay for. I always found that great employees make for a great company. A#1AIR has some excellent people...08/24Cody and Carl from A#1Air were out today as scheduled to make repairs to my A/C unit. They had to go into the attic to replace a cooling coil. These guys were all business and very professional. They completed the job and had our unit back on line in a couple of hours. I would recommend these guys and this company to anyone.

Sam Andrei of A#1 Air was a great help solving the problems regarding why my AC wasnt working. Also gave some great recommendations on what I will need to do next to improve my Air conditioning. Would recommend his help! He is a cool and funny guy!

Taylor and Albert were fantastic technicians. Their work was great and gave it their fullest attention. I never felt as though they were in a hurry or had another job to get to. My ac/heating was their primary focus and they helped put in a solid solution that enabled the second half of my house to get airflow that was previously getting no air. Pricing was very fair and recommend A#1 air for the work and if you can, ask for one of these guys!

Titus and Kevin came to take a look at my mothers plumbing today- and they were so great at explaining exactly what needed to be done, and when. They provided several options for us and were so thorough with their explanations and answering all our questions. We really felt taken care of!

Very fast appointment setting. Same day was offered but I was unavailable. The next morning Brandon called early, arrived when he said he would, and explained all options to install my EV charger. He installed it that day and was extremely professional. Great experience.

My HVAC quit working yesterday 2:19/20. Technician Mr. Terry stated that the damper is not closing or opening properly which is why there is no heat coming out. The parts will be ordered today 2/20/21. He never checks the attic to see if that is the real problem.I called customer service this morning around 7:00 am complained about the service. This is an ongoing problem with my unit. They send a technician but each one will tell us a different issue with my unit.But the heating or cooling issue does happen when the weather is too cold or too hot.When you call their customer service they are not friendly either. I asked to speak with Alexia or Alex directly but there was no extension given so I dialed a generic customer service number and the lady who answered me stated she did not know that person. Its very frustrating if they call you and leave a voice message without giving the extension number to get hold of them directly.They need to be customer-friendly and try at least to help them with their needs.Instead, they will send an email to escalate the issue to their customer management team and just wait to hear back from them. I asked for the name of the supervisor and the phone but none was given. Miss Winona told me to wait for the call.Its a waiting game once again.I am really tired and frustrated with the A-1 service. I will not recommend them to family or friends due to the bad service.I feel discriminated against in the way they treat me because Im an Asian woman, widowed, have an accent, and am dumb. I need fair treatment like anyone else.It is a double standard of service that Im receiving. It is not good.I received a follow-up call this morning from the company to see if everything was resolved by Dylan. Dylan is very professional and even asked if I had any questions or concerns. I was asked if I could up my score to 5.I have voiced my concern about customer service and told him that if they leave a voice message provide the direct extension number for their clients for easy transition instead of their normal 972 number.I will give Dylan 5 stars but entirely they need a 3.

He was just amazing! He kept us posted on his arrival time. He greeted us with a friendly warm smile! He was really patient in explaining the thermostat and how to set things up. He even put me to the test putting what he had just explained. Now so many questions I had were answered and my tech savvy son was there as my backup. Then he kindly replaced a new filter we had bought yesterday up into the attic. It was a very efficient and much needed appointment and I am very grateful to A # 1 Air for sending such a great Representative of their company to us!

A-1 air horrible , rip off artist paying for the commercials and trucks. I was stronged arm into buying a new panel. For a mere 10,000 or $370 for an individual breaker. My friend got the same breaker that wasn’t on truck for $15 at homedepot . He acted more like a door to door salesman . Explaining he could finance . Spent some time on that ! I’ve been a customer for 25 years 3 units but no break . Guess the owner James not only greedy but paying dearly for his divorce.( notice wife gone but poodle dog in her place.A-1 air. Run baby run. Oh ps over 50 comments on neighborhood app.how bad they are . Plus one neighbor did a commercial at one time. Had a bad experience. Said he wouldn’t send his worst enemy to themRun Run Run oh ps they could care less to lose me as a customer. Cause they double charge the next person . Don’t usually Bash bye the amount was insane

Albert was excellent to work with. Very knowledgeable and very interested in understanding this long standing g issue. He didn’t jump to conclusions, he listened carefully and I believe he solved a frustrating and difficult problem with my system. Robert Wallis installed a water heater at my home on January 27, 2025 prior to that day he came to my home he was friendly , knowledgeable and professional. He is a patient person, he took time in going over options with me and answering all my questions even if I asked him the same questions again. He wanted to make sure l understood and was comfortable with my decisions.The day of installment he continued to embody those characteristics, he made sure everything was installed properly and working. He removed all the trash and even offered to help me move back items that I moved for work space. Excellent job and plumber

We have been doing business with A #1 Air for over the last 15 years and three different houses. They have installed new units in all three houses which were older homes that we purchased and remodeled and with their service contract, we have had excellent service great equipment with no issues whatsoever. One of the most significant qualities about A #1 Air is their personnel that actually comes to the house and services the equipment. Just like today, the young man that came out in service everything was absolutely a perfect gentleman and great service tech. We highly recommend this company their services and their people which is what makes them so good.

Super service! We had a board go out that helped the thermostat communicate via WiFi. The technician was super helpful and friendly and he was thoughtful enough to always carry a replacement board with him on every service call. I was very grateful as we were beneficiaries of his foresight. He was done within twenty minutes easily. An extremely good experience all the way through.

Norbert explained our issues, options and next steps very well. He got our system replacement scheduled for the next day and everything that was supposed to happen did.He was friendly and courteous and followed up several times on the progress and our satisfaction.

Clint is very professional and very knowledgeable. He knows what he is doing! I had a leaky outdoor faucet and he replaced it with the right good quality part and also used concrete to cover the opening in the wall so that the pipe is not exposed. Looks as good as new. I was very relieved for the quick appointment and swift fix before the cold front!

Carl did an excellent job completing our bi-annual maintenance. He was pleasant and professional. He reviewed the recommended maintenance options and pricing and provided the information for our review.

We have been doing business with A#1 for a long time.But this time we were not happy, we got charged quite a lot of money for a false diagnosis and ended up having to get another plumber ( different company) out to fix the broken water supply line.After the job was reviewed they refunded me the amount I paidThanks for making it right

Called for help with a clog in main line between kitchen sink and washing machine. Verbally quoted $541 to clear the clog using a mechanized snake. I almost chocked when I heard this amount, but went ahead and said do it. While the 2 man crew were working on the clog, the lead guy told me he could give me a $50 discount to help with my concern about the cost for such a simple job. Well when they were done 30 minutes later, he provided me the invoice, and what do you know….it was still $541….so what happened to the discount? When I asked the “lead guy”, he commented that it was due to being “difficult access” to the main line where he ran the snake. I guess “difficult” means different things to different people, but I would think a professional plumber would not find an access point inside my air conditioned home, right in front of the washing machine, as “difficult”. Very bad experience and will not ever work with this company again. They may be okay for AC, but not for plumbing. Photo attached of the incredibly difficult access point.

Hi! By Corie Slack, I’m assuming you mean the installer of our heat pump system, and his assistant (don’t remember his name). Corie and his assistant were very professional, courteous, and thorough in their work. It was very hot outside—and inside since our old system had failed for two days. Nevertheless they worked diligently. After they finished, they were complete in telling us how the new system and its new programmable thermostat worked. Since then, we have a cool house with a highly efficient system.Please extend my compliments to them!

We have used A#1 Air for years. They are amazing! I have to say I just had one of their best technicians come out. Kaila Thompson was extremely thorough and explained everything. She made sure I understood everything she was addressing with my unit. She is a blessing. I will definitely be asking for her by name to come out next time we need help with our unit or need a check up on it. Thank you so much Kaila!!!!

Byron was informative, transparent, and quick when it came to installing our charging port for our car. He informed me about other preventative measures to take in the future with our system in terms I could understand. He even helped me pulled down my attic stairs because I was struggling. I feel like we found our go to electrician and highly recommend him to others. I would give him 6 stars if I could.

Mitch came out to quote installing a switch for a small generator hook up to my fuse box. He and his coworker were very professional and explained things well. They also recommended a whole home surge protector and we’re not pushy about it. I appreciate the suggestion and what it can do to protect my appliances and equipment.

Robert was a total pro! Needed a new kitchen faucet installed and new cartridges installed in the master shower. Everything about this visit went perfectly. Robert was very polite, considerate, efficient, proficient, helpful, and professional. The tech named Sam Andrei did my service call for a quote on a full replacement. I’m just a tenant so I don’t know what plans my landlord has for replacing our problematic unit or who they’re going to end up going with. But I just wanted to write a review that Sam was so nice and respectful of our property. He arrived in a timely manner and was very knowledgeable and friendly. He discovered some other safety issues that we weren’t even aware of and we appreciate his attention to detail. Highly recommend 🙂

The technicians were very thorough and professional. Several times during the day they stopped and showed me what they were finding. They cleaned and sanitized all the ducts and the HVAC units. Good crew.

Guys did awesome work. Had a lot of work done, full duct cleaning and sanitizing, UV filters installed, condensing unit chem cleaned, electrical work done, and installation of a new return. Guys stayed late to get it all done on the same day. Excellent service, guys were good around our little dog-o and my kids. Recommend to anybody for sure.

Clint was professional, customer focused, and very efficient with his repair. When Clint arrived, he assessed the situation, pretty quickly, provided an insightful estimate, and once agreed upon, proceeded to move efficiently for the repair. Clint remained customer focused throughout the entire process, and it was certainly delightful to work with him and just to have a conversation with a repair man who understood my needs and delivered according to the expectations. If I have future plumbing needs, I’ll contact A#1 Air, and hope he is the assigned tech once again!!

Chase Bramlett, our A1 service tech, gave me a call and said he was about 20 minutes out. He arrived promptly on time. He took care of our routine maintenance, cleaned off a sensor that was dirty and got up into the attic to give me an estimate that I had asked for. He was very professional. I’ve had good results with this company every time I’ve used them.

The rep(Austin) is amazing nice and very polite!Called them out to service my two AC units which are both 4 years old and still under warranty from another company. The only reason I called them is because of the $49 special they are running per unit. As well as possibly installing an extra vent in the hallway.Wow, I got a full estimate for 18k, everything from cleaning the system(which I had done 3 months ago by a highly rated company) to getting new insulation blown in, a members club, etc etc.Just think about it $18,000 dollars, I feel sad for all the older people they must be ripping off every day.I’ll just leave this here $18,000

Just concluded a service call with Taylor Anderson. He checked everything and was able quickly diagnose and fix the problem along with providing me with some helpful insight about my unit. In addition he re-adhered a drain hose he noticed was loose during his repair (small issue that was easy to fix but also easy to go unnoticed. It was awesome he took the time to do that for us). Service was covered under warranty and very pleased with the customer service all the way from my initial call thru the service and repair.

James provided exceptional, professional service. He spent several hours ensuring our air units were thoroughly inspected, serviced, and functioning properly. His five-star service was even done on a Sunday—while most people are off, James was dedicated to making sure my home was well-maintained.-

A#1 has taken care of my 2 units since installation. They always do good service and ensure my unit are ready for each big Texas seasons. They typically recommend items that need to be addressed but never pressure me to have them complete the job so I like that. I recommend A#1 based off my 10+ years experience with them.

Robert was great!!! This was a hard job for 4 people yet he got it done with basically just himself!! 2 heavy old hot water heaters removed in the attic far away from the attic access… replaced them with our new tankless system. Robert was a champ throughout the whole process!! By the way this wasn’t just a small in garage replacement… this was total revamping of our whole house hot water delivery. Good game Robert! Thank you!

The best part of the last service was our Technician Christopher. We had A#1 Air install a full unit in September of 2023. We needed a service call in November of 2024. Our parts are covered for 10 years but we only had labor coverage for 1 year, so yes, we were 2 months past the one year warranty. Our Technician diagnosed the problem and told us the part was covered but the labor was not. My jaw dropped when we were told that the labor cost was going to be $874 for less then 10 minutes worth of work. Are you serious?? I was absolutely not sure how that was even possible. All our technician could say was Thats what the office is telling me thats what it will cost. I called the office and had to voice my outrage at the estimate and was told Theres more to the cost of the service other than the labor. I asked for a breakdown and was told We dont have to disclose that to you. Why not ? Eventually Christopher got a hold of a manager and they covered the cost of the labor as well since we were only 2 months past labor coverage. Now, let me make this clear, we had no problem paying for labor, for for a reasonable rate. But almost $900 for less then 10 minutes worth of work ABSOLUTELY deserves an explanation. So now that we know that they charge that much just in labor, we will no longer use or recommend A#1 Air. Steer clear of this business 😡👎

Milton, our technician, was sent to troubleshoot our issues. Milton was very knowledgeable and professional in addressing our concerns on our recently install HVAC. He made adjustments to the system and offered energy saving tips to help with the cold weather. We really appreciate the prompt same day service .

Jonathan was on time and had all materials with him for water heater replacement. He was courteous and explained what the work entailed including shutting off water. The work took about 2 hours and he went over what he had done when completed. He cleaned up the worksite and left everything as it had been. Great job!

My technician did a great job taking care of issue quickly and professionally. Although he arrived a little later than I had hoped, he still did a great job and arrived on the same day of my request/need.The gas service was not turned back on by the original installation crew a few months ago when we had our complete HVAC system replaced.He identified this right away, corrected the issue and confirmed that all was working as it should be.

John did an excellent job taking care of my unusual problem. Very thorough! He told me exactly what needed to be done, the cost and duration. Definitely very pleased with his work.

I had the pleasure of A1Airs Technician Scott Clark perform an Electrical Check of my home. He was very personable, respectful, and was very knowledgeable in his explanations. He answered my questions thoroughly. I was completely impressed with his professionalism and customer service.

I received first rate service from 4 of the best air conditioning service technicians I have ever used. They performed deep full cleaning of all ducts and all internal AC components of a 3-unit AC system house, including ducts and older components I bought with the house that had not been cleaned in a very long time. The team of Ian, Evan, Juan and Albert were extremely knowledgeable as well as polite, explaining everything they were doing, included detailed picture of before and after, and worked with me on all requests and pictures. I will be requesting these teams again for all my work.

Clinton Richard was great to work with. He was thorough in his assessment, took the time to educate me on the situation, and was and quick to figure out the solution so that the issue could be resolved quickly.

Byron was nice and arrived promptly, both a plus. Then I was told I needed a $14,000 new electrical box, which was astronomical!! They eventually replaced the breaker for $429, which was way too high for a $20 part. Never again!

I was truly happy with the installation service that I received from John and Corie today. They were both so professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and demonstrated a high work ethic standard. They took the time to answer any questions or concerns that I had and made me feel comfortable. Can’t say enough about the great work that they did!!

Kenneth Mills from A#1 Air did an excellent job in fixing my air conditioner problem. He was very thorough and took his time to explain the problem with the unit. I would highly recommend this company and ask for Kenneth.

Peter was very personable and helpful. I shared with him that I don’t like the new online system as there’s no ability to take notes from the tech and it takes forever to receive it. I have had to call to get the forms released a month later. The notes and pictures provided don’t display or thoroughly outline what the tech has shared. If you’re making improvements and it takes 24-72 hrs on avg to receive it needs to have better summaries included.It would be nice to receive a recap of items discussed prior on the same log. It’ll make things more efficient

Kenneth was very nice, he repaired my heater quickly. Kenneth was very personable, whiles he was working we discussed a TV show that we both watch. He noticed my t-shirt that showed the name of the TV show (Yellowstone).Kenneth did a great job.

We have used A#1 for plumbing, heating and electrical work since our arrival in TX 4 years ago and they have more than earned our loyalty. Today, Scott helped us recover hot water heater issue with parts on his truck when we were sure we were looking at a replacement and reseated our toilet to stop leaking. Awesome service!

Prior to the cold weather arriving in DFW I had A#1 Air come out and do the early maintenance and inspection on our two furnaces. DeUndrey Harris was the tech that arrived promptly and did a thorough inspection of our two systems. Everything checked out ok and he was done in about an hour. He was polite and did a thorough inspection and provided a few options that were preventative in nature. We are on their program and there was no charge for this service.

Taylor did a great job. He was friendly, cheerful and explained any problems with my unit. I would recommend Taylor for your ac needs.

Kenneth did an awesome job and was able to find the problem immediately. He also made recommendations and advised me on many things as a first time home buyer. I recommend this company.

Norbert arrived on time and performed a thorough assessment of my furnace issues. I knew that my 2 systems were overdue for replacement and he made the transaction as painless as possible. Excellent representative for the company who was focused on educating me regarding my options and finalizing the process. Nice job!

John was completely upfront and honest. Explaining best options for equipment and installation. He was absolutely efficient and I had no concerns about the process. My system is in Great shape and I was able to choose options for the repair and maintenance going forward. I’d give him 10 stars if that was an option!

Other companies will give you a price over the phone and charge $129 ($79 service fee plus $50 labor) to change a thermostat, if you already have the part. A#1 Air wont give you a price over the phone, but will make you think theyre being nice by waiving their higher $89 service fee, then when the tech arrives will tell you its $314 which is their lowest fee to do anything. Then why didnt the receptionist say that, instead of wasting my time and their time?In summary: their tech guy was nice enough, but their prices are exorbitant!

Robert is awesome as usual. He’s been out several times for different things. He’s always been courteous, polite, efficient, and very personable and knowledgeable. We would recommend him to anyone needing air conditioning, electrical or plumbing work.

What a time for my AC/HC unit to go out - ice/snow on the ground, freezing temps! But thanks to A#1 Air, I am enjoying a warm home again with a brand new unit much quicker than I expected! Mark was fantastic. I had a clogged shower drain and had Berkeleys come out yesterday. They wanted to charge $380 to snake a drain. I called A#1 and mark came out. For their $100 special, he had it unclogged in less than 30 minutes. Mark was kind, courteous, and efficient. Is was a perfect service. I will absolutely use them again.

He was helpful and knowledgeable. At first, he thought he was here to install a different unit than the one we had purchased, but once we showed him our receipt the work proceeded smoothly and quickly. Amending my review after the company successfully installed a new furnace under warranty. They came out during the snowstorm and did a great job.First let me start by saying the technician I am currently dealing with, Taylor, is GREAT. He took his time diagnosing the issue, was very professional, and has done the best he can. I’d give him 5 stars. However, the company not so much. To condense the story, the heat on my 6 MONTH OLD SYSTEM installed by A1 Air does not work, it’s 15 degrees out, and they tell me the part I need to make the system work is “unavailable.” Not only does the system not work, but it’s due to incorrect installation in the first place. How a simple part for a new system isn’t in stock is beyond me. To top it off, customer service has yet to call despite multiple attempts from my technician to get them to do so. Disgraceful!

Robert Wallis came out to my Grandmothers house and fixed several issues that was going on . He is always very efficient, professional and always takes great care of us. He does excellent work and we will never choose anyone else for our plumbing needs. We love him!

This is my second time posting this review because the company must have paid to have my review silenced a year ago. All of my Google reviews have hundreds or thousands of views yet this one only had 1 view which is STRANGE. Here is the review:I would like to preface this review that I only received an emergency assessment and quote to fix but did not go throughwith full service. This is the reason:I noticed water leaking from my AC unit and in a panic called A#1 Air to come at midnight to assess ($129). Jamal showed up about an hour after my call and was great; outgoing and positive employee doing his part trying to diagnose my issue for a couple of hours in the middle of the night. But, after I got a second opinion I learned a lot.Within about 5 minutes of Jamal looking at the unit, I heard “looks like you might need a whole new unit” in which I heard my first warning sign. The tech poured about a 2 liter of water into my drain pan trying to find the leak without taking the cover completely off. While he didn’t find where the leak was exactly, it was obvious I needed a new drain pan. To my surprise, he also suggested an entirely new coil as well stating that it’s wise to replace both at once considering the labor involved but I know my coil is from 2012 and is in alright condition and my furnace is from 2021 and was working fine. After a while of the tech diagnosing things, my entire furnace no longer worked and I was told I’d need a new board put in which shocked me because it worked up until the point it was messed with. I was asked if I could write a review that night but said I’d have to wait for more information to be fair and thank God I did. I called A#1 the next day around 3PM for updates and again around 5PM after hearing nothing back yet. The tech called me back soon after and gave me two options:Control Board $587New Coil $3968 with warranty=$4565OrDrain pan $1380filter dryer $794Recover refrigerant-$794Replace refrigerant-$600Control board $597=$4165Then I called a competitor. This tech showed up and noticed the flashing light on my control board, read the schematic, and noticed polarity was reversed. He flipped the power plug upside down and boom… I had a furnace again. No board needed! He fully removed the cover off of my coil and boom… very obvious crack he found after pouring maybe 1oz of water in the pan (photo below). This all took perhaps 10 minutes. The competitor won my business and trust with only a $2030 repair saving me over two thousand dollars and paying for parts I 100% did not need. Turns out any amateur could have read the schematic and noticed the reverse polarity light flashing; this rubbed me the wrong way and I felt swindled because any licensed and professional tech should have been able to notice this which makes me feel like some unfaithful bad business was in the works.Now I may be wrong and appreciated the character of the A#1 tech, but overall it’s obvious why I chose Milestone at the end of the day.

Manuel was Knowledgeable and pleasant to work with and he made it is easy for us to understand. And the Espinozas had nice attitudes and made a quick and clean installation on a cold day. And Miguel explained the system to me before they left.

A#1 Air has always provided A#1 service for nearly 20 years now. Today the tech was Thomas Soto who was very personable as well as super helpful. He took extra time to answer all my questions and explain everything in an easily understandable manner. I learned a lot about the nuances of our Daiken systems that will help us be aware of things we can do to avoid degrading the effectiveness of our HV/AC.

A#1 AIR did a great job replacing our AC/Heating units today. The entire team was professional and efficient. The process was as painless as possible and even left our house and yard spotless clean. We highly recommend A#1 Air.

Had Chase come out for a maintenance cleaning . I had already been quoted a price over phone , when I explained that all I needed was a maintenance cleaning including the blower . Chase quote me 1,600 for one hour of work and then continued to treat me as if I had no knowledge of AC system. When Chase said how much for just cleaning the blower 500$ I laughed. I can have a new blower installed for 600$and he was a pushy know it all . I find it hard to believe that anyone would pay that much for a one hour cleaning. I was able to get another AC company that quoted me 220$.This A1air are trying to take advantage of customer. Do not assume that just because I’m a woman that I don’t have any knowledge of my AC system. Do not recommend A1Air!!

Lucas was very helpful and stayed to make sure the job was done. He made sure to troubleshoot and check his work. After this stretch of hot weather, it is nice to have our unit working again. Very much appreciate his work. Best part all covered under warranty. Thank you Lucas and A#1!

A1 air and my technician Taylor were amazing from start to finish. Taylor made our experience a memorable one with his professionalism and his wonderful personality. He didn’t hesitate if I had any questions and was very thorough in his work and investigation in my AC issues. He was extremely patient while showing me step by step what he was doing and why he was doing it. DeUndrey was our technician, and he did a good and thorough job inspecting our heating system; then showing me and explained several photos of the areas and features that he inspected, and all was working well and in good condition. We were well pleased with his work, and his manner was very professional.

Update: Thursday, Dec 19,2024Taylor Anderson came by to do our Heating Checkup on our HVAC System. He did an awesome job and also shared the advantages and disadvantages of different AC Filters and MERC ratings. He also recommended two types after looking at the filter I had that. Totally recommend A#1 Air and have Taylor checked your unit.——————————————————————-We had three service technicians show up on Friday and they were all professional; Ronaldis, Ethan and Xavier.They wore the booties on their shoes, they moved bookcases, cabinets, appliances, etc to get to the outlets and switches. They moved everything back and they also went around and cleaned up and used a vacuum.We have been using A#1 Air for years (since 2009). We used some local electricians and HVAC Companies from 1995 to 2009, but A#1 were always upfront on the costs of the repairs, the pros and cons, warranty and service issues, fixing a problem instead of selling a whole new unit not needed. I have seen workers here at my home until 10pm trying to resolve an issue.We had a situation a week ago that after a large thunderstorm, the next morning half of the bedroom electrical outlets and lights were not working. They came and found out that our 1977 home had a different type of electrical wiring to the outlets and there was a loose wire which could have started an electrical fire. They fixed it and the other outlets worked.They recommended replacing all of my outlets and light switches (we had some that would stick or we would have to flip up and down). It turns out that out of about 40 outlets and switches in the house, about 40% of them had loose wiring or the insulation showed signs of heating up.They also found an issue in my fairly recent circuit panel that one of the switches was not tripping properly.They did an electrical inspection and found that our home did not have enough GFI plugs (it was built in 1977). They were the first electrical company to come through and tell us this.We feel better about seeing the improvement and knowing we can sleep a little better at night.About 10 years ago that was a home down our alley that did catch on fire and burned to the ground.Around 2009 we had A#1 replace our original and faulty (in the news) of an electrical panel was widely used but should be replaced (Western Pacific).You could find someone cheaper? Probably. I tried that years ago and I had mismatched condensers and HVAC units in the house. A#1 years ago upgraded ours so it was more efficient for our square footage.They also have painless and affordable financing. We went with a reputable finance company that had a low 6% that we could afford in our budget.We had them also install attic insulation years ago too.A#1 also has plumbing services too.I like how they will send an email of who is arriving, give you a courtesy call the day before and the day of.It is nice to work with a company like A#1 that has a detailed record of what work has been done in my home (that they will honor) compared to trying to work with a variety of different trades.They have my Five Star Review!

Byron did great work for us today. Replaced all of my 23 year old smoke detectors with brand new ones, in serviced us, and finished in just a few hours. I’ll ask for him again the next time we call!

Very Dissatisfied with this company, in sept of 2023 they repaired and replaced an overflow sensor on the unit, in the picture attached is how they braced the reservoir to hold it up, not knowing any better i thought this would be good, but over time i guess it vibrated out from under the reservoir and it dropped down filling with condensation. i happened to be changing air filters as it was time and found the unit had shut down, when i called them they wanted to charge a $85 service fee to look at the issue, but that would be waived if they did the repair. when they reviewed the history of my account they could see that they did the repair but said we dont know what was dont to the unit over the past year. I informed them that i would no longer use them and would not recommend them at all for not standing behind their work, do it right day or night and would be calling another company, the person asked me to wait and they would have a customer care resolution specialist call me back, that they would hate to have me leave them feeling this way. i told them that i would wait for a little while but if i did not hear from them quickly, or it was not resolved to my satisfaction i would call someone else, I never heard from them, so i called another company, and they put a Tech on the line that walked me through what i needed to do and we were able to get the unit going again, and they sent a tech the next day to correctly brace that reservoir in place (at no charge even though they did not do the original repair).at 9:30 that night a tech showed up with from a#1 without any notice or update that he was coming, how would i even know they were coming, i would not let anyone in my house if i did not know they were supposed to be there.very bad support on work that they do, and horrible communication

Kenneth was extremely polite and professional! He arrived for a late afternoon appointment and worked diligently to restore our air conditioning before he left. He carefully explained the issues we had and how he proposed to resolve them. He did an outstanding job, and we hope to have him help us again in the future.

Taylor and Albert provided me with a very good experience. They were both knowledgeable and friendly, and they worked with me on several options that were available to repair my A/C unit. They also pointed out issues that resulted from previous techs from other companies working on the system. All in all Im happy I called A#1 Air.

We have an older house and had A#1Air install a new a/c system around ten years ago and weve maintained it with their membership, which has been very useful and worth it. After they added plumbing and electric services, weve use them for those needs as well. - Always professional friendly, and thorough.

Frank was awesome and so very nice!Every body should be so lucky to have Frank as their tech.He came out to repair a motor on one of our a/c units and detected a gas leak which was outside our house. He helped Atmos identify the problem area had dispatch send a crew to repair that issue right away.He saved our home!

Even showed us how to do the bio drain cleaner properly that they sell (A#1 Air fixed a clog earlier this year). Had to pay upfront over 30k for electrical work on a modest residential home. A#1 did not complete requested and initially agreed-to work Requests were made at least 10 times for the agreed-to item of a replacement of an outdoor light fixture. I was told it would be and then it wouldnt be several times by A # 1 after paying I was assured upon writing the check that it would be and that they guaranteed 100% satisfaction. I have a dangerous hole dug in the front yard where a light fixture should be.

Taylor handled himself as a true professional. He introduced himself when I opened the door. He quietly checked the heating unit. Taylor spent quite a few minutes checking everything out. He fixed a place where some air was going out. When Taylor was done, he summarized everything he had done including pictures. I wouldnt mind him coming back. I highly recommend him.

Anderson Wilburn is exactly what every service company should have working for them. He was professional, friendly and a great tech. I will request him anytime I need a service call.

Your sales guy told me the finance was 6.9 so I signed his notepad, but when I went to print and read the contract it said 11.9 and they had already started the work. Very unethical sales ……not honest ! Follow up by customer service said they would work to resolve the issue, they also lied and never heard back from the company. The only good was the installation and quality of the service technicians. ! Won’t ever recommend to this company to anyone because they a very unethical !

Robert took the time to learn a Kohler shower system that he had not been exposed to before. Due to his research and diligence he was able to quickly and expertly restore the system to complete operation. He is a true craftsman in his trade.

Noel was very knowledgeable and thorough in his diagnosis of the problem with our heat pump, and was able to get it back to working. Additionallly, we have had an Air Handler error code that has been unresolved since 2021. He was able to get the code to go away (fingers crossed that it stays gone!), and has ordered a part to fix the issue.

Ramiro Alvarado and his brother provided excellent service. We have been very pleased with A#1 Air’s service team and professionalism.

I want to thank A1 for taking care of me and my family. The technicians Teko, and Nick were very engaging and informative. I appreciate their insight on maintenance care and upkeep to ensure we get the most out of our AC. I appreciate the fact that when they ran into an issue with one of the parts, they were able to get on the phone with their manager, Rob, and come up with an efficient solution. The parts department was closed that day, but they came back early the next morning with the updated part and finished the job without delay.On the day of service we received a call from the call center to confirm our appointment, and then another call when the technicians were on the way. The technicians were on time and when they left, made sure everything was cleaned. My wife and I were very frustrated that our AC went out. However, the services, and education of our system from the technicians, helped to ease our anxieties. We are grateful for Rob, the manager at A#1, and his technicians Teko and Nick for really taking good care of us.

Daniel arrived promptly and let me know that he was on our property.Daniel texted a picture of the products he used to help with the odor. Daniel let me know when he had completed the job and acknowledged that he would return in 90 days unless we needed something prior to March.

A #1 Air’s technician, Oscar Reyna-Perez, came to do Fall maintenance on my heater. He was so pleasant and knowledgeable. He went through all the steps he took to service the heater, which was impressive. He even taught me something on my thermostat which I hadn’t known for the last nine years of getting the system! I will certainly request Oscar for future service visits.

A#1 Air technician Clinton was very professional and has a calm demeanor. One area I was disappointed in was when he asked to see the electrical panel box in the garage. I explained the when I had the air conditioning unit installed a couple of years ago, the A#1 technician changed the breaker to meet code which was verified by the garland code inspector. Clinton said the company wanted them to shoot a picture. It then registered that he was trying to expand business since A#1 has multiple businesses. He then wanted to see the hot water heater to take another picture. I explained to Clinton that I had professional and personal individuals who I’ve used in the past to take care of items outside of heating and air. I also informed Clinton that previous work done by other A#1 technicians was not satisfactory and that a previous employee who is no longer at A#1 would come out to straighten out their mistakes.Clinton was following through on management instructions so kudos to him.

Nick Nabors came out and was professional, kind and knowledgeable. I had a new heat pump installed same day. I would recommend this team to anyone needing their services!

Norbert Rodriguez-Lopez was our tech today and did a fantastic job of providing yearly maintenance for the system installed last year and our other system that’s ~16 years old! He provided some recommendations, which were expected for the older system. Appreciate his professionalism and respect for my time and home!

Blower inside making a terribly loud noise. About 6 months ago, same issue. I was told by a third party then that part of the unit was resting on the fan housing where it shouldn’t be and was installed incorrectly. He said over time it’s resting on the fan motor housing caused it to bend and make the noise. I let Taylor listen to the third party assessment and told Taylor he pushed on it and essentially unbent it from the weight resting on it. Taylor did the same and the noise is gone. Taylor does not agree it was installed incorrectly—but that if it was, the noise would have happened right away. He does not believe that it was a gradual event caused over time by the weight. Taylor said “they did the best they could in the small space” which to me sounded a little like an excuse… for something heavy resting on the fan housing that shouldn’t be…

This has been the worst customer service I have ever received. We chose A-One to install a new heat pump in 2021 based on recommendations of unparallelled customer service and excellent system upkeep practices. We were assured at multiple points that would be the case for us. I was then shocked to be informed in August 2024 that they would no longer do their annual maintenance as they were choosing to focus on their customers in Tricities. However, I was assured that if I ever had an equipment problem I would still be served as a customer. In good faith I remembered that when our heat pump stopped working two days ago and called their 24 hour service number only to be reminded I was no longer in their service area so I could not be scheduled for an appointment without clearance from a supervisor. Our family, which includes 6 children from ages 10-18months are now starting our third day with no heat, and I still have received no response or effort to make things right. Absolutely terrible customer service to just abandon customers like this, and truly disappointing.

Always amazing service, going above and beyond what is required. Matt just left my home to check on my system - he was kind, courteous, and very knowledgeable. His recommendation to take care of my system was clear and easy to understand. It was evident that this appointment was not a “sales push” to him, but was an opportunity to help a family stay cool and comfortable in the summer. He worked to find a solution that was best for my home and family, as well as our budget. Super nice guy. We have always used A#1 Air for our heating/cooling needs, and will continue to do so due to their great service! Thanks, Matt!

Mitchell was super nice guy. Plus, he was very knowledgeable about his job. I saw him put his whole hands inside the panel box, even though, the panel box was disconnected, and he was playing, with damn wires. Hell no!!! Not me!! He told me how long, the job would take, and he nailed it. Very smart individuals for sure. I would use him, when I buy my new house. And very polite too. Give this individual a good raise. The worst customer service I have ever experience. Ive been a customer for 14 years. Since July 2024 I have been trying to close out a service call they did in July but cant get an appointment that was suppose to have already been set up and completed on Sept 20, 2024 but no one is interested in stepping in and getting the appointment set up. I have followed up 6 times to get a call back and an appointment set up. It took over 2 weeks just to get someone to call me back and even though they have dialed the correct number for 14 years, this time they transposed the number and dialed the incorrect number and then its my fault I didnt answer. Then he did call me 2 days later with the correct phone number but I was in a meeting. He didnt leave a name or number in a message so I figured he would call back. No call back. I called back today, and now Im being told I have to make myself available to take his call. Are you serious. I have had one of their service men decide because of my zip code and neighborhood, I dont get any of the discounts they offer for vent cleaning so it was over-priced. I have had several of the service people act inappropriately. The good ones never stay. So disappointed in this. They definitely do not live up to the image they portray in their commercials.

Are negative ratings possible!?! It’s been two months, and I am still dealing with repairs that resulted for my home property damage because of the AC water leak and negligent actions of A#1 Air. I strongly suggest using any other AC company!!!!Edited - I will also add that I have been in contact with the company’s customer relations department without success. Their reply, “Your concerns have been forwarded to management…”. I have not heard back from “management.”

Steve Bustos and another gentlemen from A-1 Air came to our house to correct an ac/heating issue and did an outstanding job. They identified the problem within minutes and corrected it. They were thoroughly professional. I cant recommend them more highly.

Carl Braxton is an excellent technician. I highly recommend him. He was professional and polite. Carl is efficient and a great communicator. I got everything handled in one day! Kudos to A#1 Air!

Danny was AWESOME!!! He performed a thorough assessment of our AC unit & provided estimates for the necessary work. Danny was transparent with the information & took his time to explain what was causing the AC issue; and he answered all our questions. I would recommend Danny to anyone who needs an AC technician!!! And he has a sense of humor. For Danny, GO OU!! 😃

Liborio was fantastic and I would highly recommend him for your electrical needs. He was very patient with us explaining everything thoroughly and did a wonderful job replacing our breaker box. If I need anything else done I will ask for him to do the work.Hunter has been working with us to diagnose and fix our a/c unit. He has been very thorough and explained everything to us to our understanding. I would highly recommend him.

I was pleased with the timely arrival of Mr. Nickerson. He was courteous and professional throughout the service call. I appreciated his thorough description of the problem , answers to questions, and correcting the issue in a timely manner. Demond also seemed to be training a gentleman with him. It was encouraging to hear him explain professional as well as moral standards for providing service to customers.Excellent service! Thank You!

Arturo on time, very pro, knowledgeable, and respectful.Answered all questions re: heat pump issue and went above and beyond to ensure all aspects were covered in troubleshooting. My compliments!

Arturo did a great job on his recent visit. He explained in detail our issues with the heat pump. I would recommend him and A#1 Air for your HVAC needs.

Jonathan came on Friday and evaluated my odor issue coming from behind my main bathroom shower. He had a plumber setup for Monday morning to take care of the leaks. The plumber arrived. He moved between my bathroom and behind the refrigerator. He noticed and showed me the issue. He had it resolved in about 4 hours. I was very pleased. I had another issue with an outside faucet which he handled before he lefted. I would be happy to call A#1 Air again when needed.

Carl Braxton completed a thorough inspection of the units and provided a good summary of recommended follow up actions as part of the bi-annual preventive service call.

Our tech Taylor was not only efficient but his customer service was great. He may be a Broncos fan, but thats ok. Thank you Taylor for getting us back up and running. Go Bills and I guess go Broncos too. lol

Sam did a great job servicing my air conditioning system.He cleaned my outside unit better than anyone has in the past.For the minimal service charge he was very thorough. He did findmany problems with my system though that I will consider havingfixed.

DeUndrey did an exceptional job with our bi anual check up today. He was the most thorough technician I have had thus far. He shared his pictures of both units with me and discussed each leg of the check up. He offered several other suggestions for further maintenance which we will keep in mind for the future. Johnathan was punctual, listened to what we needed and got to work. Considering that I can’t climb into the attic, I assume he did what was needed to drain my water heater. Even with my military discount, I thought the service to be pricey. I don’t know what the going rate is now. This is a reputable company and I have used them before and will again.

The tech was very professional and completed the job to my satisfaction and got hot water in my house again! I would recommend this company! I will use them again!

Jose Ruiz came out to take a look at some duct in my house that a raccoon had torn apart. He was able to diagnose what I needed quickly and provided me with some options. Highly recommend A#1 for their professionalism and promptness in getting on-site

I had my A/C go out over night. I called A#1 Air because I hear their commercials on The Ticket all the time. They came out within a few hours. Leo Jin was our tech and he was super fast and efficient. Made the perfect recommendation on a quick repair and had us back up and running. I was so impressed I signed up for the membership plan.
