I came home from work to a freezing home. My son recommended Prodigy. I called and at first they made me an appointment for the next morning. They said they would call if someone could come sooner. Sure enough I got a call 15 minutes later they had a technician around the corner who was going to head over. One hour later our heat is back on!! I highly recommend them!!

Ishmael and his crew were wonderful!!! No up-charging, no we need to replace the whole system. They told me exactly what was wrong and thats all I got charged for. They are polite and well-mannered and considerate! You cant go wrong calling Prodigy!!

Alex and Ismael were very polite and professional. The service ended up taking up almost the entire day so I know they were ready to get home, but they were still kind enough to offer to clean up their mess. One thing I really like about Prodigy is that you get a text letting you know when your technician is 30-45 minutes out that includes a photo of your technician. That way I know who to expect at the door upon arrival. Great service!

I highly recommend Prodigy Heating & Air. Not only they correctly diagnosed the problem of water leaks from my HVAC A/C that has plagued me for so many years, they were also quick to respond to my inquiry and to replace the socking wet plenum within a day. Furthermore, upon the completion of new plenum installation, Jose performed quality inspections and came back the next day with another fresh new plenum to redo some of the works for perfection without additional charge. How is that for professionalism and perfectionism. Since then, my A/C works like a charm. I have nothing but praise to Jose, Ismael, and Garrett. Job well done, Guys! I called Prodigy after searching for reputable HVAC service and prodigy had 5 star ratings. I gave them a call to service my HVAC unit and they were able to come out next day. They sent me the mobile number and picture of my service tech Ismael. Ismael arrive in the early part of the service window. Ismael listened to my questions and was extremely helpful in understanding what I needed. He did extra work checking the condition of the coil in the attic. He inspected the unit thoroughly and resealed the compartments with tape and compound. Overall, I was extremely happy with Ismael’s knowledge, friendliness and honesty. Prodigy and Ismael are now my go to for any future HVAC service.

John and his team at Prodigy Heat and Air came to my rescue after another HVAC company improperly installed my system that was not to code and giving me months of issues. Not only did they come out on the same day/evening, they went literally out of their way to get me a part and there was a crew of 5-6 guys PROPERLY re-installing my HVAC on Christmas Eve Day. I’m so appreciative of the Prodigy Team and highly recommend them to take great care of you.

I learned that my compressor and condenser were just fine, and that I only needed a new 240 volt breaker. The technician, John, arrived quickly after our after-hours call. He quickly diagnosed the problem and was able to fix it. He explained what had happened and showed us pictures of both before and after. We are very satisfied with the experience and easily recommend Prodigy to others.

The entire team at Prodigy were pretty awesome every step of the way (John, Jose and his crew Alex, Garret and Ismale). Our hvac system needed a replacement as our old version was nearing its end of life. Jose was super professional, kind and honest when he came for our consult/quote. We got 4 different quotes from various companies to compare and make the best decision. Two of our quotes (not Prodigy) were completely miscalculated quotes for the wrong size tonnage for our home. Crazy because if we had gone with the other company we would have been in trouble with a system full of problems. The owner of Prodigy helped us along the way to make sure we weren’t going to make the wrong decision. We had Prodigy come out for a routine maintenance on our commercial building, they had someone there same day to take care of our units. Fantastic, fast customer service!

Called John at Prodigy Heating & Air at 3:30 this afternoon as the house temperature was rising above 80°. By 430, Garrett , one of their technicians was in my driveway. He proceeded to assess the entire system and determined the capacitor had failed. After he quickly replaced the capacitor he stayed an additional 30 minutes to verify the system was up and running properly and cooling the house which it was. Incredible service for the middle of July! He was both professional and thorough. I would highly recommend Prodigy to anyone in this area for their quick response and quality service.

Excellent service! Answered phone on a Friday night and did a troubleshoot on the phone that fixed the a/c temporarily until service the following day. Responded immediately to all my needs. I highly recommend Prodigy for you air conditioning needs. We bought our unit a year ago and are still very satisfied. The installation was quick and on time. All of the staff is very attentive and professional. We have a second unit that is also older. We will definitely use Prodigy when the time comes to replace that unit as well.

We had called the office late in the day to see about getting our AC repaired and were informed that it would be the following day before they could come out, witch was totally ok because we called so late. A few minutes later Jose called to get some details about the problem shortly after that Garrett came out and found the problem, and was able to repair right away. This young man is awesome he explained to me step by step his process so I wasnt just left at the mercy of a regular repair person. Jose came out on a holiday weekend when my AC stopped working. Diagnosed and explained what he was doing, my 18 year old unit is beyond repair but he was able to put a band aid on it while I wait for the new unit.

John is prompt to respond via email and text. They kept me up to date with the repair and came back out to address a follow up question. I am very impressed with Prodigy and find their is service above and beyond and very hands on.

This company is thorough and professional in their work. Theyre scheduling and communication software makes it easy to keep track of appointments and gives me reminders and updates on the technicians estimated time of arrival. I had an AC underperforming this week and they were able to squeeze me in before the weekend. Jose, the technician, quickly identified and repaired the issue and was done and cleaned up in under an hour. I havent had an issue with these guys yet. Highly recommend them for all your HVAC needs.Update: After working with this company for a few months I decided to sign up for their Gold Service Agreement, and it has been great ever since. These guys prioritize my calls when I have issues. I had an AC glitching today and they came out within two hours. Again Great company, with great employees.

Our previous HVAC companys quality has been waning over the years and a recent system failure was proof enough they were no longer up to the task. 3hrs spent on system outside and 5 pounds of freon, no resolution and freon was gone the next day due to leak. They never even checked the attic where the actual leak was.Contacted Prodigy, as they do our Commercial Building, they came out, diagnosed the problem within 15 minutes, contacted Carrier to arrange for warranty replacement part and showed up the following day to install and test system. Very good service, on time, reasonable price and clear explanations about what they are going to do, and then what they have done. Very good experience.

We use Prodigy for a twice/year checkup, once in the summer and once in the fall. Their maintenance program is top-notch. They are ALWAYS responsive and extremely thorough. Our A/C went out last night, and we have family coming into town. I was able to schedule same morning service. Joshua not only did the summer maintenance check on our unit, he fixed the problem, added a vent, crawled under the house to check our lines - all within our normal service agreement, no extra charge. Truly above and beyond, they are amazing to work with!

In 2017 my AC unit went out just short of 1 year after divorce….I was in complete panic. I contacted Johnny he sent someone out promptly and found it needed to be replaced. They got me financing that was great and replaced my unit in 1 day. Since then they have handled my maintenance at a fair price and I feel completely secure in my AC capabilities. In this hot summer it’s a must.My most recent maintenance appointment Jose made sure the house was safe and the heater will be on in the cold months ❤️👍 Always 5 stars

Prodigy has provided high quality service to VUV for a long time. They respond very quickly, show up when they say they will and perform high quality work in a professional manner.

I had found Prodigy on Google and scheduled an inspection for an HVAC issue the following day. Jose called me up later on that day and asked if we had availability same day, which was perfect! He was professional and knowledgeable. He fixed the main issue and didnt push for repairs that we couldnt afford on the spot. John came to my home to provide a quote for a mini-split in our garage. He was very informative and thoughtful and I was looking forward to receiving his quote which he told me I should have the next day. 3 days later on Friday, I texted him asking about the quote and he didnt respond. I also called the main number and let the receiptionist know I was looking for a quote from Prodigy, she said shed follow up with John and get that to me asap. 5 days later on Sunday, I texted him and asked again. He responded saying he was sorry and that his service manager had a death in the family and he would get the quote to me soon. 8 days later on Wednesday, I texted again asking one last time for the quote. No response. Im surprised that this business with so many 5 stars review is so unresponsive and Im disappointed that there is such a lack of regard for my time. I dont recommend this company.Update: Literally right after I posted this review an estimate was received in my inbox. Updating from 1 to 3 stars.

Professional installers, highly efficient and cleaned up after their work impeccably.Follow up after install..... These guys are the most responsive and dependable company that I have dealt with in my life. I highly recommend them for anything from an install (if you want it done to highest standards) to a service contract. Best decision I have ever made. The HVAC system works great, uses noticeably less electricity and has worked flawlessly once we got it tuned up.

Very reasonable price (another service companys price was about 3 times higher) and solution for lack of air flow to one room. Was able to match the existing air registers in the rest of the house and even added blown in insulation in the areas they had to disturb to replace the air duct.

Jose is kind, reliable and extremely dedicated to ensuring that our house is always set to our desired temperature. Can’t recommend him or Prodigy highly enough!

Sincerely amazing! My AC went out this morning and we have young kiddos, I called and got the best customer service ever! Patient and upfront. They managed to get me in same day and I got a 30min heads up text from my technician John. Showed up and was nothing but amazing, explained everything did his inspection and told us exactly what was going on (our compressor died) and he was able to fix it right away and with a very reasonable price! They have earned a lifelong customer with us!

Excellent over the top service. Jose and Jon make a hell of a team. Jose always completes the job in an expedient manner and you never feel like you’ve just been swindled. Never over sells and recommends only what you need to continue your AC journey. Most recently had the Evaporator Coil replaced due to a leak. At first he ran a leak test and then injected a leak stop to try and mitigate the issue instead of just recommending a new system. Well, the time came when the leak grew larger and we were left without AC and have a toddler and infant in the house. At 1st they were unable to make the replacement until Monday due to their busy schedule, when the system gave out on a Saturday. Jon said to give 45 minutes to try and locate the coil and finish his current job. Called back and said if we can work work with him on the time of the install he could get it done same day! BOOM! AC service restored and were not left out needing to stay at a hotel until the replacement was installed. Truly can’t say enough good things about Prodigy Heat and Air.

John was excellent! He diagnosed the problem quickly and accurately, contacted my home warranty company and had the a/c fixed and cooling promptly. Highly professional and personable. I’ll be asking for his company from my home warranty company in the future if I have other issues with my a/c.

Jose was the technician that came to our house. He was very knowledgeable and worked with our warranty company to save us the most money we could! I’ve had a number of issues with my AC coming into the massive heat wave this year, and I’ve called Prodigy to fix both issues. Each time, the guys were prompt and explained the issue to me clearly, and worked to get things resolved immediately. I can’t see myself using anyone else.

When my HVAC system finally died during the sub freezing days of winter, I called my go to company Prodigy Heating and Air to diagnose the problem and to discuss whether it was a good time to replace the rusty old system. I decided to bite the bullet and replace the system and John provided a good discount for replacing both upper and lower systems at the same time. The installers, led by Jose, were polite and professional. The two systems were installed and up running in just over 2 days including some additional ductwork. HVAC removal, install and cleanup were to perfection! I highly recommend Prodigy Heating and Air for quality HVAC installation, maintenance and service!

I was having an issue with my outside condenser unit. Jose, with Prodigy Heating & Air came out, the same day as my call, to evaluate the issue.He was on time, professional, and friendly. He took the time explain the inner workings of the HVAC unit to me, as I was not entirely familiar. He diagnosed the problem, informed me of what needed to be replaced, and explained the repair to me. This was a Saturday, and it would be Monday before he would be able to get the part from the warehouse. So, he explained how to use the AUX Heat setting on the thermostat to get through the weekend. It was a quality repair, at a fair price.I appreciate the opportunity to work with Prodigy Heating & Air, and wing able to support a local business. I was not disappointed, will use them again, and highly recommend them to anyone in need of HVAC maintenance and repair.

Prodigy came promptly, diagnosed the problem (unfortunately needed a new system), gave me bids on alternate systems and got the system installed very promptly. And even though there were complications with the wiring they did not increase the cost over the bid & stayed late to get it done.

John and Prodigy replaced my entire HVAC system in an older home and did so in a cost effective, professional manner. Before our system was replaced John came out several times even after hours to service the old unit. I could not recommend Prodigy any higher.

They found a practical solution to an unsolvable problem without having to spend an arm and a leg to reconfigure my whole system. Worst experience with their third party financing!

We had 2 different AC guys come out who didn’t fix the issue and charged us for it. We finally had Jose here and not only was he courteous, but he also fixed the issue and for a great price.

These guys are always prompt and very knowledgeable. Helped us out when we needed them the most. Its never fun when your AC stops working in the middle of summer, but it helps when the people you depend on are this good.

Jose was great, clearly communicated, during Inspection of the HVAC unit gave me insight to what needed to be addressed. Educated me to the system and the issue and remediation of the issue. Jose indicated that if the system continued to have issues the coil would need to be replaced. Jose told me he would start sourcing the part in case. Jose was being proactive as he is aware of a shortage of the coils due to Covid pandemic.

Jonathan just comes thru time after time with the best possible service. It’s hard to find guys like this in any business, but especially in something like HVAC. You won’t find a better guy in town. So grateful we found Prodigy.

Prodigy came out same day. We have a newborn at home and our AC wasn’t cooling. Needed someone quick! Aaron came out and got us working again.

It was a quick capacitor replace and was charged $400 which I think was quite steep. The part cost less than $25 and it only took 15 minutes. I thought it would be closer to $200
