I have had recommendations from family and friends who get services from Masten, and I am very happy to say that Masten’s service on my HVAC system surpassed my expectations. Kyle was exceptionally attentive to my concerns, and did a thorough inspection and recommendation for a minor repair. I definitely plan to keep their regular services and routine maintenance schedule.The cost for their exceptional services is very reasonable. I will recommend Masten to everyone!

Masten has been our HVAC guy for more than a decade. They respond and fix our needs quickly. All of the service technicians are friendly and professional (know their jobs and able to fix it timely.) Phone call receptionist was also nice (polite and patient) with me, and I appreciated very much.

Wonderful company! Recommended by a realtor friend. This past Spring, Jason replaced a large upstairs unit for us. Also, quick to come out when we turned on our heater for the first time and our smoke alarms went off. Kyle showed up same day we called and did Fall maintenance on all 3 units. Last fall I contacted a company to perform a yearly maintenance on my furnace. After receiving a quote of almost $7,000 for repairs to the furnace we decided to reach out to someone else for a second opinion. A friend referred us to Masten Air Conditioning & Heating for a 2nd quote. Matt from Masten came out and said that none of those repairs were needed. Matt changed the filter, cleaned the furnace , checked the safety switches and he was done. What a relief to find a company that is honest, and not wanting to scam us and charge us for unnecessary repairs.

Masten is our go to for any heating or air conditioning concern. They replaced our system two years ago and have been great about maintenance and any service issues. They are very responsive often coming out the same day. . We also referred them to others who have been equally impressed.

Masten has been doing my family and extended familys heating and air conditioning service for over a decade. The honesty and quality of service is absolutely outstanding. My mothers tech was like a member of the family, only person that she wanted to come out, even after he had advanced in the company, he would come put to take care of her system.They ARE the family AC company.

Kyle was our tech and he was very good at explaining what he was doing as he went thru checking everything. I’d give him 5 stars. I also appreciate the fact that he didn’t tell me I needed a whole new system as we all know happens sometimes.

Matt came out and replaced a coil in my moms AC today and was accurate and professional. Very understanding and on point. Also added Freon to my AC and I scheduled insulation spray for this week. Great value and skill set.It’s good to see people are still honest.I highly recommend Matt and his company.

Had some trouble with my AC unit, had another company look it over and couldnt find out what was wrong, but gave me quotes for replacing components. Called Masten for a second opinion, they arrived quickly - looked over the system, found the issue and didnt have to replace any parts. Honest, Professional, Friendly - cant say enough how thankful I am to be their customer.

Masten has done it again! We had our AC go out last year and unfortunately today it went out for a bad part- they had a service guy out there in less than an hour and fixed! Today we had a problem with our furnace, and Matt was available to provide top-notch service and repairs the same day.While the service provided on-site is always great, I also want you to know that Cambrie who answers the phone is probably the most pleasant and professional representative of a company with you will ever deal. She listens, is empathetic to your needs and makes you feel that you are dealing with a company that truly cares about its customers.

We were extremely fortunate to have found Matt and the people at Masten Air Conditioning to service our a/c system. We moved to the Dallas area 2 years ago and were introduced to the company by our real estate broker. Masten is trustworthy and great to work with. Their prices are reasonable. Their work is impeccable. And, their service cant be beat.We purchased an older home that turned out to need major air conditioning upgrades. The existing a/c ran nonstop throughout the first summer we were here, but it was not cooling the house. Our electrical bills were enormous. Following Matts advice, we replaced the compressors and air handlers, installed smart thermostats, and redesigned and replaced faulty ductwork. All of this work was performed flawlessly, the house has been comfortably cool throughout even the hottest days of this summer, and, thanks to the smart thermostats, I can report the run time on the system has been cut from 23 hours per day to 15 (a reduction of 33%) on those very hot days.

Matt, Trevor, and the install crew did a phenomenal job on our new system. They surpassed our expectations and even went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. Their prices cant be beat and their quality of work also. The air handler, ducts, etc. were all beautifully installed. They truly care about what the customer needs and not trying to up-sell to make more money. I will refer everyone I know to Masten Air. I could not be happier!

Had a pretty awful surprise when I woke up to 36 degree weather and the heater hadnt run all night. Matt was able to come by and not only fix the issue but educate me on what was going on and how to deal with the furnace going forward. Hes pretty much a miracle worker if Im being honest.

Our A/C started getting finnicky last night at midnight. I called Masten this morning and they had a technician out within just a couple hours. Ryan quickly identified the problem, explained what was going on and had the new hard start equipment installed in about 20 minutes.Super impressed. Anything HVAC related is scary and always assumed to be expensive but was happy with the price to get our house cooling again. Thanks!

Masten Air installed one of my AC units but they didn’t replace the drip pan, which was 15 years old, and I ended up with a major leak. This happened on a Thursday night and I called them on Friday morning to come out, which they did, but told me they couldn’t replace the drip pan until Monday.I had the leak stopped and Serv Pro out who had everything drying, but when the service guy from Masten Air came, he caused it to stop leaking again through the ceiling and said he couldn’t come until Monday to replace the drip pan. He just expected me to have it leak through my ceiling for the weekend? I called another AC company that came right out and fixed the situation.I don’t recommend this company.

As a lifelong builder, it is rarely that I meet as sub a great as Jason Masten Weve happily worked together since he started is business. Masten HVAC. are very professional, on time and very dependable. My secret wish is that more businesses ran as smoothly as theirs. Oh, he works on my home as well.

We have been customers of Masten Air Conditioning since 2014. We had to go with certified Trane service techs in order to keep our units in warranty and we chose Masten. I can say, in all honesty, it was the best decision we ever made!!! We have had either Matt or Adam (look alike brothers) over to do our service and have always felt that they were there not just to do the same old -in it for a paycheck- job. They want to make sure that we are continually happy with the all the services they provide while here and are always quick to assure us that they can be back quickly anytime we need them in the future. Everyone at Mastens has always been kind and courteous, very professional and helpful. I havent had to call out on an emergency issue yet, but I know I wont have to worry who they send out because their employees personify dependability. Great Job!

While there are several reputable HVAC in my area that Ive used in the past, I now rely exclusively on Masten as do many of my neighbors. Jason was a real lifesaver years ago providing service on my outdated AC unit when it quit after hours in the heat of the summer. I have since had Masten upgrade the entire system and was extremely pleased with their price and quality of service. I highly recommend these folks!

I am so grateful for Masten Air Conditioning. The guys came out right away and blew my mind away with their knowledge of my wall units. What a relief and breath of fresh air. Most AC companies (even really good ones) are not familiar with wall mounts, especially used in a commercial building. They did an emergency work around, ordered a piece and had everything perfect in a total of week. They are now my new AC resource for everything Wall Mounted.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! They did a pre-purchase inspection on a home and notated a 16° delta in temperature upstairs. They claimed to have “fixed the issue with insulation in blower compartment.” When I called to say the issue still existed, it started with “it’s probably a different issue. We’ll have to charge you $99 to come back out”. No matter what I said, she *insisted* that it could not be the same problem. The problem was ALWAYS the temperature difference. Adding insulation did NOT address that issue. I was stunned by their lack of willingness to entertain the fact that the technician may have made a misdiagnosis and not fixed the issue. We are human and make mistakes. It’s how we respond that matters. Their response left me saddened by their lack of concern for their quality of work. I called a REPUTABLE company to come out and they immediately checked and noticed the refrigerator level was down 60%. There was no mention on the Masten work order that they even checked the refrigerant. Nor did they check for a leak. Their money first response, lack of willingness to admit the mere possibility of an error, and general dismissive attitude made it clear to me that this is not a good company with which to do business. I never write negative reviews (this may be my first ever), because everyone can have an off day, but this was bad enough that I hope no one else has to have my experience and I felt it was necessary.

Our preferred A/C and Heat System maintenance, have been customers since in Flower Mound and now live in Arlington, approximately 10+yrs. They are a family owned and run business, very honest and trustworthy, do not want to use another A/C/Heating company. Thank you Masten, we appreciate you.

Could not say enough good things about Masten and his team. The office personnel are very friendly and very communicative. One of my biggest pet peeves with contractors is lack of communication to the customer and being left in the dark. These folks have always called me to update me on appointments, when techs are on the way, etc.Very friendly, fair pricing, would highly recommend them to anyone looking at HVAC systems.

We called Masten Air on a Sunday morning in July concerned about our unit not cooling and the fact that the fan would never turn off. I am embarrassed to say that we realized after the call that we had the fan switched to on instead of auto. We felt foolish and bummed that we were going to have to pay a weekend rate for that service call, but when Brian arrived and agreed with our findings, he reminded us to change out our filters and left without charging us a dime.You can bet we will be calling Masten Air next time we have trouble with our unit. So far so good. Had new system installed spring 2021. Works flawlessly. Had 1 year maintenance call last week. Showed up early. Unheard of for contractors, right? Got to work, was real friendly, finished and left. Real professional company IMO.

About 3 years ago our AC unit went out during the heat of the summer. I knew it was time for a complete overhaul of our existing unit in the attic and outside. Masten is a customer of mine so I called Cambrie to set up an appointment. Much to my surprise, they were able to come out the next day to put a band aid on the unit to get it running through the night. The following day the team came out to install a complete unit. The cost was very competitive and the service is unmatched, but what really sold me was they came out immediately while another company was going to come out a week later. Masten is a family owned business and they are truly honest, ethical, and very friendly. I wont use anyone else. Called at 8 am to get service, Matt came out at 1 pm same day. Fixed the capacitor in about 20 minutes. Quality.

RUN. They were dismissive about asbestos during their install. The unit is not large enough for the home. Their response to my concerns and complaints have been to be nasty and explain things to me as though I am stupid or doing something to make it not work.

Woke up to an AC issue and Mastens was able to meet me by noon to diagnose the issue. And it was resolved and fixed within minutes! I was hardly inconvenienced for having AC issues throughout the morning. Very impressed!

Masten installed our systems in our house about 4 years ago. We have a conventional a/c system, and a ductless system. We are very happy with both systems, and were treated fairly.

I had submitted a request thru their web portal for an estimate on replacing my AC units. I received an e-mail response on the same day requested asking if certain days would work but that is where it stopped. I sent an e-mail for confirmation to see if the date I had responded with was still available and no response. I tried calling the company to see if that day would work and they hung up on me.

Bought a new system. Had a few bumps on the install but they made it right. I would use this company again. Love the new Trane system.
